[00:00:26] Speaker A: Hello, Julia.
[00:00:27] Speaker C: Hi.
[00:00:28] Speaker A: Hello, Theo.
[00:00:30] Speaker C: Hello.
[00:00:31] Speaker A: And hello, Dan.

We are playing Daggerheart. We are on episode 14.
We have come to a very interesting situation where the five of you have now come into with a world spirit who is currently entangled by some vines and a very curious creature with three heads looking a bit like a.
A Venus fly trap looking to do some harm. And it's up to you and whether or not you save this big poor creature or whether you just go on your merry way. I guess.
[00:01:21] Speaker B: Yeah, we're just leaving. Right? We're just. We're just heading out.
[00:01:24] Speaker C: Hope you got something else planned. No.
[00:01:28] Speaker A: Yes.

That being all said, let's go into that intro.
[00:03:23] Speaker C: Hello, I'm Julia and I play Lucretia, a lorevar wizard.
[00:03:29] Speaker D: Hi, my name is Theo and I'll be playing Pally, a wolf kin Seraph.
[00:03:35] Speaker B: Hi, I'm Georgia and I'll be playing Vergil, a sanguivar ranger.
[00:03:42] Speaker E: Hi, my name is DM Dan and I'm playing Myrdden, a Wolfkin guardian druid.
[00:03:49] Speaker F: Hi, I'm Livy and I'll be playing Beau, the dragonsent warrior.
[00:03:55] Speaker A: And my name is Nate and I'll be the GM for this adventure.
So it hasn't been long since the five of you left what has been deemed as the traitor's camp. Though despite you actually meeting these so called traitors, they were actually fairly nice people obviously, one of them being Lucretia's long lost sister.
You have told her your plan of going to find this world spirit that especially Maiden had been seeing from time to time, sort of wandering the forest.
But right in front of you, which all of you can see is this large antelope type goat creature, large, sort of like neon glowing green stripes down its back and on its tail and on its face this sort of large mane around its neck.
But it has been dragged to the ground and is pinned to the ground at the moment with these large thorny vines.
And on top of it you can see this large sort of like hydra headed sort of plant creature with. With each head, with three of these heads with each of them sort of like with large teeth and it's looking like it's acting pretty vicious towards this large creature.
And you, all of you have heard in the back of your heads now this, this kind of, this plea for help, what you do,
[00:06:00] Speaker B: Is it worth me casting Know thy enemy on it?
[00:06:03] Speaker A: If you want.
[00:06:03] Speaker B: So we get some idea on its stats.
[00:06:06] Speaker C: Oh yeah, yeah.
[00:06:09] Speaker B: Let me just.
On the wrong turn, know thy enemy. I think it's an instinct.
[00:06:16] Speaker C: Roll.
[00:06:24] Speaker A: An 18 with fear.
So yes, on this creature that does beat its difficulty.
[00:06:34] Speaker B: Cool.
[00:06:35] Speaker A: What would you like to know?
[00:06:37] Speaker B: What?
Table question. What should I ask?
[00:06:45] Speaker D: Maybe.
[00:06:49] Speaker F: Yeah, I was Gonna say could be damage thresholds. Yeah. Where they lie. Or you could know it's evasion features.
Unlocked hit points. I think it's unlocked hit hit points.
[00:07:02] Speaker B: Unlocked hit points is. Might be good because then we know how many it's got.
[00:07:05] Speaker F: Got.
Yeah. Yeah. Because we're starting from the top.
[00:07:10] Speaker A: Yep. Starting from the top.
[00:07:12] Speaker F: So.
Yeah. Either. Or either know how many times you have to hit it or how hard we have to hit it is probably.
[00:07:20] Speaker C: I think how hard sounds like a useful to know.
[00:07:23] Speaker B: I mean we know it's over 18, I suppose.
[00:07:29] Speaker E: True.
[00:07:30] Speaker C: Just.
[00:07:31] Speaker B: Just from having passed that. That test. We know it's under 18, thankfully.
[00:07:37] Speaker F: That's just on its.
Yeah.
I don't think.
[00:07:45] Speaker D: I guess.
[00:07:50] Speaker A: Okay.
Okay. So Virgil, on staring up at this creature and even though you've probably never seen a creature like this before, your understanding of plants and wilderness.
[00:08:05] Speaker B: He's met a plant before.
[00:08:06] Speaker A: He's met a plant before.
[00:08:09] Speaker D: You can smoke to plot before.
[00:08:12] Speaker B: Certainly.
[00:08:14] Speaker A: Is he now? We do not know. We. He might not be a sanguivar Those eyes might be red for a different
[00:08:18] Speaker E: reason,
[00:08:21] Speaker A: but you can. You can kind of gauge how. How hefty this creature is. So above table. It's HP. It's unmarked. HP is 8 and it's unmarked. Stress is 5.
[00:08:36] Speaker B: Cool.
[00:08:38] Speaker A: Stress.
[00:08:40] Speaker F: Stress him out.
Tell him about world politics. Get him stressed.
[00:08:47] Speaker B: Nobody deserves that.
And just while I'm here, having shouted this to the group without context, obviously,
[00:09:01] Speaker A: eight times
[00:09:05] Speaker B: based on girth.
[00:09:10] Speaker A: Oh, that's a girthy boy.
[00:09:15] Speaker B: I'll just. I'll send Brother Talons up there as well. Just because I'm here.
Where's my boy?
My boy.
[00:09:23] Speaker A: He should be right next to you.
[00:09:25] Speaker B: Yes, he is. There's nothing there for advantage.
[00:09:34] Speaker A: 17 with fear. A 17 with fear does hit. If he's going up to him.
[00:09:40] Speaker B: Nice. Yes. He's also flying up there.
[00:09:41] Speaker A: I should imagine that we'll send him up there.
[00:09:47] Speaker B: Up he goes.
[00:09:53] Speaker C: O.
[00:09:55] Speaker A: That is a 23.
[00:09:56] Speaker C: 23.
[00:09:57] Speaker A: So a 23 is minor damage.
But still, as Brother Talon sort of gets in on this creature.
[00:10:07] Speaker B: He hates plants. He's always hated plants.
[00:10:10] Speaker A: And he's able to maneuver around sort of like the. The chomping heads as it's. As it notices Brother Talons.
But unfortunately, Brother Talons is only able to get sort of like a little bit of a nick in there as these heads sort of swarm around him.
Because you rolled with a fear. I'm gonna go next.
I am going to spend a fear bump.
I am gonna spend a Fear to do regeneration.
[00:10:45] Speaker C: No
[00:10:47] Speaker A: I can spend. I can spend a fear to take back my hit points.
[00:10:54] Speaker F: No.
[00:10:56] Speaker A: And spawn two more heads.
[00:10:59] Speaker B: Oh, it's a hard.
[00:11:00] Speaker A: So now instead of three heads, it has five heads.
[00:11:07] Speaker B: Don't like.
[00:11:09] Speaker F: Right.
[00:11:10] Speaker B: Put it back.
[00:11:10] Speaker C: Do we have any abilities that stop things from regaining hit points?
[00:11:16] Speaker B: Can we like if we attack it. Cut of a head. Can we like put fire to the. We like quarterize.
[00:11:20] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:11:21] Speaker F: Like authorize it as we go.
[00:11:22] Speaker A: There are. There are things you may learn. But that's just one of my heads, guys.
My heads get relentless which means I can do.
I can do as many attacks, as
[00:11:38] Speaker E: many heads as there are.
[00:11:41] Speaker A: I love this.
[00:11:42] Speaker B: Let's go.
[00:11:45] Speaker A: So one of the heads is going to have a little chomp at Brother Talons.
[00:11:51] Speaker B: He deserves it.
[00:11:53] Speaker A: Does he? Does he do a little bite?
[00:11:57] Speaker C: Do a bite.
[00:11:58] Speaker A: Do a bite.
That's a 10. Does brother talons.
That does not hit.
[00:12:10] Speaker B: He's an evady boy.
[00:12:11] Speaker A: He's an evady boy.
[00:12:13] Speaker C: Invasive owl.
[00:12:15] Speaker A: I mean with that, I think then another one is going to come up around the back and also do a chomp at him.
No. Brother Talons is.
Is firing tonight. He is just straight through those heads.
[00:12:33] Speaker B: He hates plants
[00:12:38] Speaker A: with. With two of the heads busy with Brother Talons, one of the heads is gonna now shoot round and actually look down at the.
At the lot of you down on the ground.
He is gonna spend a stress.
[00:12:53] Speaker C: Oh.
[00:12:55] Speaker E: Bear in mind every head with relentless needs a separate fear.
[00:13:03] Speaker A: Does it?
[00:13:03] Speaker F: Yeah. He still spends bit fear as usual to spot. You'll spotlight them so they can each have an attack. But it's a fear per head.
[00:13:11] Speaker A: There we go.
Yeah.
[00:13:15] Speaker E: Spend while you got mate.
[00:13:19] Speaker A: Yeah. I will do this one. It will do. It's going to do a.
Spend that in the chat. It's going to do a vine crack down at the five of you. I need each of you to roll.
Agility reaction roll.
[00:13:33] Speaker C: Yes.
I only got 10.
[00:13:47] Speaker A: That's nine.
Oh.
[00:13:49] Speaker C: 23 for Virgil. What the heck?
[00:13:52] Speaker A: Yes. Speedy boy.
[00:13:56] Speaker F: Wow.
[00:13:56] Speaker C: Triple backflip.
I think Pally gets distracted trying to protect Lucretia. That's why neither of us gets away.
[00:14:08] Speaker A: I better roll for a valor as well, actually.
[00:14:12] Speaker C: Oh yeah.
[00:14:15] Speaker D: He's all right.
[00:14:16] Speaker C: He's fine.
[00:14:17] Speaker A: He's fine.
[00:14:19] Speaker C: What happens to your contract bow if something else kills a valor?
[00:14:24] Speaker D: I think you're prime.
[00:14:25] Speaker C: Right.
[00:14:25] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:14:26] Speaker A: Did it all by myself.
[00:14:29] Speaker D: It's like, oh, it's a shame that he's dead. I'm just going to cut off his head for no reason at all to take back with me.
[00:14:34] Speaker F: It's fine.
[00:14:35] Speaker A: No one has.
[00:14:36] Speaker C: It's what his family would want.
[00:14:38] Speaker F: Just dies.
[00:14:39] Speaker A: You know, Lucretia and Bo.
Lucretia and Pally. You're gonna take 16 physical damage, right?
[00:14:48] Speaker C: Let me just figure out what that means.
They might. 16 is my major damage threshold. What do I do?
Two hit points.
[00:14:57] Speaker F: Unless you want to use one armor slot.
[00:14:59] Speaker A: You can use one armor slot and
[00:15:00] Speaker F: then you get one hit.
[00:15:02] Speaker E: I would assume that we are all clumped up together, right?
[00:15:05] Speaker A: We are. You are all in very close range of each other. Well, you're relatively in close range with each other.
[00:15:12] Speaker F: You can shield.
[00:15:13] Speaker E: Myrden is going to flip around and stand in the way of whom?
Of Lucretia.
[00:15:25] Speaker C: That's sweet of him.
[00:15:26] Speaker A: No, I see it.
[00:15:28] Speaker C: Thank you. Okay. Does that mean.
[00:15:30] Speaker A: That means you don't take any damage.
[00:15:32] Speaker C: Oh, that's so sweet. Is. I guess you can take way more damage than I can, can't you?
[00:15:36] Speaker F: He's got armor slots coming out. The wizard.
[00:15:39] Speaker C: Yes. Thank you. I will take away those hit points then. Well, I will. I have all the hit points, basically.
[00:15:46] Speaker E: And it was 16 damage. Yeah.
[00:15:48] Speaker A: 16 damage.
[00:15:49] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:15:51] Speaker E: There we go.
I'll spend a bit armor. Why not?
[00:15:56] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:15:57] Speaker E: Oh, there we go.
[00:16:01] Speaker A: There we go.
I'm going to say that's me done.
Let's take a look. I think Mirden was next to go.
[00:16:12] Speaker E: Okay. So in which case, as this sort of like vines whipped out and cracked up. Crack. The five of us or six of us.
Yeah. Midden's kind of jumped over back, like back to the world spirit and kind of taking this hit.
And like Lucretia, you like as he flinches when he opens his eyes. They are glowing.
I'm gonna roll a D6 to see
[00:16:45] Speaker D: what is he buff?
[00:16:46] Speaker A: What?
[00:16:47] Speaker E: Well, I'm gonna see.
[00:16:50] Speaker A: Is he bopped?
[00:16:51] Speaker E: Actually, I do need to check, though.
[00:16:53] Speaker F: Are you buffed?
[00:16:53] Speaker E: I do need to check if I'm bored.
I am both.
[00:16:58] Speaker C: You're never unboffed.
[00:17:02] Speaker E: So I'm gonna see which bear comes out.
Okay.
[00:17:08] Speaker F: Six bears inside you.
[00:17:10] Speaker E: The eye. The eye opens and they are. His good eye is red.
[00:17:18] Speaker C: Lucretia looks into the eyes and goes, oh, it's. It's one of those days, is it?
[00:17:23] Speaker F: It's.
[00:17:24] Speaker B: That guy's just like, oh.
[00:17:29] Speaker E: So I'm gonna be form.
I'm going to imbue myself with elemental fury.
So that is too stressful. Am I boved by either of those? I am boed.
I am very boved.
So hang on there. Right. Okay. So up to three stress. Yeah, that sounds all right. No. Four stress.
Okay, well, and then as I sort of, like, turn around and regard this hydra thing, I'm gonna basically scamper up the world spirit's leg and just start clawing wildly at these vines.
[00:18:17] Speaker C: Nice.
[00:18:18] Speaker A: I think.
[00:18:18] Speaker E: Unless there's anything else I need to do,
[00:18:24] Speaker A: I think.
[00:18:25] Speaker E: Okay, so let me just trade in. This doesn't seem like an armor.
I'm just. I'm just gonna numb. Sorry.
[00:18:34] Speaker A: Gonna do a numb.
[00:18:35] Speaker E: Go do a nom.
Gonna do how much? I've got three hope. I'm gonna do a.
Just go raw dog it. Let's go.
[00:18:44] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:18:47] Speaker E: 14.
[00:18:48] Speaker A: 14 with Hope.
I think. Within maiden, would you say that you tried to transform into the nicer bear, but then something just took over and you started raging?
[00:19:07] Speaker E: I think perhaps the transformation.
Yes. I tried to turn into the. The original, but the pain of being whip cracked across the back has probably.
And yeah, being this close to a world spirit that, like, the primal energies are just kind of making everything a bit hazy. Hulk smash. Yeah.
[00:19:29] Speaker A: I guess in this. In this fury, you're not quite able to sort of make headway with these vines as they sort of bulge in your teeth, and you don't seem to be able to make any sort of crack into them.
[00:19:45] Speaker E: Okay,
[00:19:48] Speaker A: who would like to go next? I've got.
I've got Lucretia. You want to go next?
[00:19:53] Speaker C: Yes, please go. I have an important thing I want to do sooner rather than later. Which is it?
[00:20:00] Speaker F: Run away.
[00:20:00] Speaker C: Oh, hold on. No, no, no, no, no, it's not.
So. I am. I would like to cast my sigil of retribution on the viney boy, please.
So now he's got.
I guess it's. I'd use my. I point my staff, and there's a crackle of energy and a purple sigil. I suppose a magical mystic sigil appears upon its. One of it. Well, maybe on one of its heads or something.
[00:20:27] Speaker B: I'm not sure.
[00:20:28] Speaker C: But some it is marked.
So every time it damages one of us, I will place a D8 on that sigil.
And when we have a maximum of up to six D8s, I will attempt to hit it with an attack.
Yes. And then it will do extra damage. So. But yeah, every time it hurts any of us, I will be able to add D8s to that. And then since it's doing multi attacks, I think this is probably a good.
[00:20:57] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:20:58] Speaker C: So that's my turn. I'm gonna try and move out the way. Basically.
Probably not going to do a lot of good, but, you know,
[00:21:06] Speaker A: fair enough.
Did you want to do anything else, or did you just want to.
[00:21:11] Speaker C: No, no, no. Well, I mean, if I'm allowed. Is anyone else doing anything? Anyone? I could have a little zap.
[00:21:20] Speaker A: Have a little zap?
[00:21:20] Speaker C: Why not? Little zap.
I would like to invoke my experience of my special interest in the natural world. Because this is a weird vine thing, and I surely know something about plant creatures.
Aggressive plants, I'm hoping.
Yes. So I'm gonna roll that.
Did that work?
[00:21:50] Speaker A: Yes, that did work.
[00:21:51] Speaker C: Oh, great. Okay, so it's a 19 with fear.
[00:21:56] Speaker A: That is a 19. That is a hit.
[00:21:58] Speaker C: That's a hit.
Okay, let us roll some dimage.
It is 17 damage.
[00:22:10] Speaker A: 17 damage. So a 17 is minor damage, so it only takes off one.
Okay, but Lucretia, you can't help but notice that this creature seems to now just be, like, flailing around, like, a lot more, but not in, like, an aggressive manner. Like it's trying to sort of gauge what's just hit it, as it does have a magical weakness.
[00:22:43] Speaker C: Dazed until the next roll with fear. Very, very good.
And cannot use regeneration. Okay, fabulous. Do not want to find out what terrifying chorus is either.
So fantastic.
Thank you. I'm done, please.
[00:22:59] Speaker A: Because you rolled with fear, though.
[00:23:01] Speaker C: Yeah, but no, no, no, no. The next roll with fear is what? It's.
[00:23:05] Speaker A: No, no, no, no. Okay, but because you rolled with fear, I get to go next.
[00:23:09] Speaker C: You're gonna go.
[00:23:10] Speaker A: Okay, I am going to go next.
Lucretia, you.
Let's just. Let's just roll this. Let's see what happened.
[00:23:22] Speaker C: What does that mean?
[00:23:27] Speaker A: That's a crit, isn't it? If I roll a 20?
[00:23:30] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:23:31] Speaker C: Is it? Is it, though? If I spend three Hope to force him to re roll an attack or damage roll. Is that what he's doing?
[00:23:38] Speaker A: Yeah, it is an attack roll.
[00:23:40] Speaker C: So he's not gonna crit anyone right now. I'm gonna spend my hope because I have. I currently have a bit. But, yeah, that's my hope gone.
That's called. Not this time.
I think it's a wizardy ability. So she basically counter spells. Whatever the heck he was about Count just cancels what he was about to do.
[00:24:01] Speaker A: Okay, what about an 11? Does an 11 hit?
[00:24:04] Speaker C: It does not.
[00:24:05] Speaker A: It does not.
So, Lucretia, you probably imbued by just sort of like, watching this creature. It doesn't stop you from then hearing something behind you as you avoid this. This sort of vine crack from, like, this other sort of viney creature that sort of, like, was hidden within the trees that has now made an Appearance beside you.
[00:24:30] Speaker C: Lovely. I like to think maybe it's like a magical shield that automatically comes up when I'm in imminent danger. I heard it coming up behind me and there was like a shield around me. Not this time. Not this time.
[00:24:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:24:45] Speaker C: Nice.
Oh, this is a tree dude.
[00:24:51] Speaker A: He's a tree dude.
We've got.
We've got Bo and we've got Pali up next with their hands up. Who would like to go next?
[00:25:02] Speaker D: However, I'm just going to offer, whilst I have the hope, if you would like to tag team, because I know you might want to do some looking.
[00:25:09] Speaker E: We.
[00:25:10] Speaker F: I was gonna have enough team.
But do you have anything that does magical damage?
[00:25:16] Speaker D: I have my spirit weapon, which I don't know if it technically does. It's up to me.
[00:25:23] Speaker A: It will say on the. It will say on the thing if it does magical damage.
[00:25:28] Speaker F: If it's magical damage or physical damage.
[00:25:31] Speaker D: Physical damage, probably.
[00:25:34] Speaker A: Well, don't you have a hallowed axe?
[00:25:37] Speaker E: Isn't your. Isn't Moon Cleaver officially a hallowed.
[00:25:40] Speaker F: I think if it's a hallowed axe,
[00:25:41] Speaker A: it will be a magical item. Yeah.
[00:25:43] Speaker E: Yeah, you do.
[00:25:43] Speaker D: Let's say yes.
Okay. I can do magical damage. So cool.
[00:25:48] Speaker F: Yes. Let's tag team. If you can do that. I can't do medical damage, so if we can.
[00:25:53] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:25:54] Speaker A: Yeah, cool.
[00:25:55] Speaker F: Magical damage. That would be. Then fabulous.
[00:25:58] Speaker D: Yeah. Because if you can't do magical damage, what's the best thing?
I mean, I. My original plan was going to be to cut. Try and cut some of these vines.
But if we can get damage on him and I know I can hit him, that's useful.
[00:26:15] Speaker E: I mean, physical damage is still going to be good because the magic.
So sure.
[00:26:21] Speaker D: Okay, well then let's do that tag team.
[00:26:23] Speaker E: Let's see.
[00:26:24] Speaker F: Let's tag team. I mean, I'm happy for you to.
[00:26:27] Speaker D: Yeah.
Do you want to do some.
Do you want to.
[00:26:31] Speaker F: I'll probably do some bouncing and some shooting as I am known for.
[00:26:38] Speaker D: I mean, I could always like, if you. If Beau was to get on Paddy's back, we could kind of like do. Try and get us further. And then you jump off. So I swing all the actors. You jump up and shoot at the top or something like that.
[00:26:55] Speaker F: Woods, how close is Brother Talons to his heads?
[00:27:01] Speaker A: He is very close to his head.
[00:27:05] Speaker F: Perfect. That means I get sneak attack even though I'm jumping through the air and shooting him in the face.
Perfect. Okay, so roll.
[00:27:17] Speaker B: Roll.
[00:27:17] Speaker D: Isn't it cool? Yeah.
[00:27:19] Speaker A: So both of you roll. If you're tag teaming okay.
[00:27:22] Speaker D: Right. Well, I'm gonna roll with my axe then I'm gonna add incredible strength.
[00:27:30] Speaker F: I'm gonna add an experience as well. Are you spending the hope for the tag team? Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna roll.
Don't underestimate me because I am small, but he is big.
Let's go.
Terrible. I think it's a crit.
[00:27:51] Speaker D: I got a crit. Also no crit.
This is very cool.
This is so annoying that I'm doing it right this. Oh. So.
So I've got rousing strike. So once per rest, you critically succeed on an attack, you and all your Elysia who can see or hear you can clear a hit point or 1v4 of stress. So if anyone would like to lose
[00:28:13] Speaker A: that,
[00:28:18] Speaker E: I am less boved.
[00:28:22] Speaker C: Cool.
[00:28:23] Speaker D: I'm so glad I can finally get to do that. I've had this this whole time. Okay, so removing all my hopes.
[00:28:28] Speaker A: So you're gonna go with the 12 with fear, right?
[00:28:30] Speaker F: No, no, I think I'm gonna go with a crit
[00:28:34] Speaker A: fair.
[00:28:36] Speaker E: All right, I've got the abacus ready. Hit me with the maths.
[00:28:39] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:28:39] Speaker A: Right.
[00:28:39] Speaker D: Roll damage.
[00:28:49] Speaker A: It's
[00:28:52] Speaker E: 31. Plus 46 is 77.
[00:28:56] Speaker A: 77?
[00:28:58] Speaker F: Mine isn't a crit damage, though.
[00:29:04] Speaker E: No, it is.
[00:29:06] Speaker A: Oh, God.
[00:29:07] Speaker E: Oh, wait. Why is it plus 12?
Why are you plus 12?
[00:29:11] Speaker C: Yeah. What.
[00:29:13] Speaker E: What on earth is plus 12?
[00:29:17] Speaker A: Plus 12?
[00:29:18] Speaker E: Because that is 2 is your normal attack. 2D6.
[00:29:23] Speaker F: My normal attack.
[00:29:26] Speaker E: Your proficiency is 2.
[00:29:27] Speaker F: I assume my efficiency is 2.
[00:29:29] Speaker A: Is that because of sneak attack?
[00:29:33] Speaker F: My normal attack is 3D6. Plus 6.
[00:29:35] Speaker E: Oh, God. So why have you got a plus 12? What's the plus 12?
[00:29:38] Speaker F: And then I have. Then I have sneak attack, which is plus 12.
[00:29:42] Speaker E: I suppose, to be fair, it's not. Yeah, it's not. Calculating it. So there's. So it's 31 plus 46, which is 77. Plus another 36.
[00:29:51] Speaker A: 100.
[00:29:53] Speaker E: 111 damage.
[00:29:55] Speaker A: 111 damage.
[00:29:59] Speaker D: Tag team.
[00:30:00] Speaker E: Let's go tag team, baby.
[00:30:03] Speaker D: Boys.
[00:30:05] Speaker A: The boys, the big hitters.
[00:30:10] Speaker C: That's what we do just after the
[00:30:12] Speaker F: hit, Just both of us.
[00:30:14] Speaker A: Well, I guess.
I guess you'll know that that is damage. That is severe damage.
So that will be three points off him.
Not also that. If a hydra takes major or greater damage, I will lose one of my heads. So now we are down to four heads.
Yeah.
Just.
[00:30:49] Speaker D: Just a quick one.
Am I allowed?
I have an equipped weapon with a range of melee or very close.
Oh, no, it's fine. Don't worry. Don't worry. Ignore me. It's Fine. I was thinking about using my spirit weapon. But there's no one next to the Hydra unless its heads count as separate adversaries.
But I don't think it does.
[00:31:15] Speaker A: Cool.
[00:31:17] Speaker E: Theo and Livy both gain a hope as well.
[00:31:20] Speaker A: And clear a stress.
Pally. Would you like to do another move? Would you like to continue taking the spotlight? Or would you like to move it to bow?
[00:31:32] Speaker D: I don't mean I can. I can give him another hit if people would like me to hit it again. If I have a magical weapon that keeps it dazed.
[00:31:39] Speaker F: Right. I think.
[00:31:40] Speaker D: Which is useful.
[00:31:41] Speaker A: Yeah. As. As long as you attack it with imaginable attack. Then yeah.
[00:31:46] Speaker D: Yeah. So again I. I will lose Moon Cleaver again.
And I go for it. Use train since birth. Because I have the hope.
Because I. I'm fearful that you're going to take my hope from me anyway. So might as well use it while I have it. And I'm just gonna see what happens.
[00:32:05] Speaker A: That is a 23 with fear.
[00:32:07] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:32:07] Speaker A: That is. That does hit it.
[00:32:12] Speaker D: Roll some damage.
[00:32:18] Speaker A: 21. 21 is minor damage.
But this creature is sort of like one of its heads sort of like slops off. Is looking pretty frazzled about the whole situation.
Because you rolled with fear.
Cool. Because you rolled with fear. I will go next and I will spend one of my fears to. For one of the heads to do a chomp at you. Pally. Big chop and experiences. Okay. Go and do. Do a chomp.
[00:32:58] Speaker C: Ouch.
[00:33:01] Speaker A: Just a one hit.
[00:33:04] Speaker B: No.
[00:33:05] Speaker C: Imagine if it did though.
[00:33:08] Speaker D: Pali has no evasion but can hit really hard.
Which is still true because evasions 11. Which is not great.
[00:33:15] Speaker C: Great.
[00:33:15] Speaker B: But your evasion is less than Brother Talon's with.
[00:33:22] Speaker A: Then again I will spend another fear for another one of these heads to gain another chomp at you.
That's a bit better. That's a 19.
That hits. Doesn't it?
Yay.
I will do a bite. Do a bite.
And that is 3D 12 plus 2.
Roll in that.
There's a little 12. Little 12 baby. 12.
[00:33:54] Speaker C: Oh. Did it hurt pally? That's interesting.
[00:33:57] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:33:58] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:33:58] Speaker D: Go.
[00:33:59] Speaker C: Carry on.
[00:34:01] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:34:01] Speaker F: Oh yeah. It did hurt.
[00:34:02] Speaker C: P.
It hurt P. Sure. I saw it. I saw it.
[00:34:06] Speaker F: I saw it hurt P. Yeah.
One in the bag.
[00:34:10] Speaker E: Lucretia's over there just charging up a Kamehameha.
[00:34:13] Speaker A: Oh yeah.
[00:34:15] Speaker F: A little notebook out one.
[00:34:18] Speaker C: That's one of the one.
[00:34:23] Speaker A: I'm gonna spend another fear two for this. For this vine creature that's sort of down by Lucretia.
It's going to send Out. So as this creature sort of like recoils its vines back towards itself, you see this puff of, like, these ash spores come out, and it's going to go for Lucretia, Virgil and.
And.
And Virgil and Bo. Bo, unless you've gone up to the top as well, are you staying down where you are? You staying where you are? Okay, so can the four of you give me a strength reaction roll?
[00:35:07] Speaker F: We're not wrong.
[00:35:12] Speaker D: Who got the crit?
[00:35:17] Speaker C: It's not looking good for the creature, mate.
[00:35:19] Speaker E: Mirden's only up on the leg, so I don't think I'm that far from it.
[00:35:24] Speaker A: Yes, if you could roll as well.
[00:35:26] Speaker F: Okay, what about Rocksteady down there?
What's his name?
[00:35:37] Speaker A: Yes, I guess, to be fair, Avala is in far range, so, yes, he's also going to have to roll.
So Avala and Lucretia, you are now vulnerable, which means you to everything.
[00:36:00] Speaker C: Oh, dear.
Little lower, lips quivering.
[00:36:04] Speaker A: Yeah. This creature kind of in front of you just like. Oh, I wasn't expecting that, as it sort of just appeared out of the trees as these. As these spawns sort of coming up. You can actually feel your body sort of weaken as if you're quite tired.
[00:36:19] Speaker B: Oh, dear.
[00:36:21] Speaker A: And with that, who would like to go next?
Yes, Bo, you can shoot the tree.
[00:36:32] Speaker C: Yay.
[00:36:34] Speaker F: I don't like that. He's giving out. He's doing spories. I don't like that.
How close is he to Lucretia?
[00:36:42] Speaker C: He's, like, right next to me.
[00:36:43] Speaker A: He's in melee Ranger.
[00:36:46] Speaker F: He's gonna get a sneak attack then, isn't he?
[00:36:48] Speaker A: Just gonna have to get a sneak attack.
[00:36:50] Speaker F: You're gonna have to get a sneaky little sneak attack.
Where is
[00:36:58] Speaker A: Gun?
[00:36:58] Speaker C: When does Bo ever not know where Gun is?
[00:37:02] Speaker D: Where is Gun?
[00:37:03] Speaker A: Where is Gun?
[00:37:04] Speaker E: Where?
[00:37:04] Speaker D: Where?
[00:37:04] Speaker B: He's gone.
[00:37:05] Speaker A: That is a 17 with fear, which
[00:37:09] Speaker F: gives me a hope. Doesn't change, it just gives me hope.
[00:37:11] Speaker A: This gives you hope.
[00:37:12] Speaker F: Every time I'm scared, I get a bit hope.
[00:37:16] Speaker A: A 17 does hit.
[00:37:19] Speaker F: Does hit.
[00:37:20] Speaker A: Does hit.
[00:37:21] Speaker F: Good, good.
Take all them.
29.
[00:37:29] Speaker A: 29. A 29 is major damage to this leafy boy as he takes that.
But because you rolled with fear means that our boy up here, our hydra, is now like, oh, not feeling so dazed now.
And it's also Maggo.
So, yes, this. This vine hydra now feeling sort of like a bit more with it. After this sort of barrage of magical attacks, it is going to do.
One of the heads is going to do a terrifying chorus. Can all the PCs in far range, which I think is all of you. Can you remove to hope please?
[00:38:16] Speaker C: Oh, I'm out of hope.
[00:38:17] Speaker D: Oh no.
[00:38:17] Speaker B: That's all the hope I have.
[00:38:19] Speaker C: It's all my hope.
Right.
[00:38:25] Speaker E: Oh, bats.
[00:38:28] Speaker C: Any hope left? Merbon 2.
[00:38:33] Speaker B: You're flush with hope and if only
[00:38:37] Speaker F: somebody had soldiers Bond we could get. We could get hope real quick.
[00:38:41] Speaker A: And with another fear.
[00:38:42] Speaker E: Why doesn't Avala have soldiers? Bomb day display terrible display.
[00:38:50] Speaker A: With another fear I'm going to spend.
He's going to clear a hit point and he's going to grow another head back. Going back up to five heads.
[00:39:02] Speaker F: Well yeah, we need five here to use fear. To use them.
[00:39:07] Speaker A: I need the fear to use them. So yes, that is. My God. Who would like to go next? I think it was next.
[00:39:18] Speaker F: Crunch head. Crunch head. Well, with magical teeth. Have you got magical teeth?
[00:39:26] Speaker E: I've got magical stones.
I think I'm going to have. Okay, we'll let fate decide which way I go.
Okay.
Buffeted by the spores like me's been tearing at these like vines and then stops and then turns his large berry head to look at this tree that's by Lucretia and with a bellowing roar go bounding in and smash.
[00:39:59] Speaker A: Just smash.
[00:40:02] Speaker E: I'm gonna. Just going to. I'm just going to go for it.
But that's an 11 with fear.
[00:40:14] Speaker A: 11 with fear. Unfortunately 11 with fear doesn't hit. I feel like with the. With the spores coming out they're not having any effect on you, Maiden, probably because of the state that you're in at the moment. But you are finding it difficult. Yeah, you're just sneezing as you're trying to make your way through and you're trying to sort of clear them from your eyes but you're unable to get sort of like a good attack with a fear.
This creature in front of you, Madden, he is going to do. He's gonna mark a stress and he's going to do a seed barrage.
So these sort of viney, these viney acorns to. Are going. Going to just sort of fling out of this tree type creature.
[00:41:03] Speaker F: He's going to make this seed all over him.
[00:41:05] Speaker A: I'm going to get some food all over him. He is going to do an attack.
So this is going to be against maiden and Lucretia. Remember Lucretia, you're vulnerable at the same time.
[00:41:20] Speaker E: So that's a extra D6 to hit.
[00:41:25] Speaker A: An extra D6 to hit the Lucretia.
So yes, that will be a 1314.
[00:41:31] Speaker C: Yeah, that is. That is my event. Oh yeah. That's my evasion.
[00:41:34] Speaker A: Yeah. And is a nine. Does that miss your evasion, maiden?
[00:41:37] Speaker E: It does.
[00:41:38] Speaker A: It does.
[00:41:39] Speaker E: It does.
[00:41:41] Speaker F: Lucretia, unfortunately gonna say you've got.
[00:41:51] Speaker A: Shield or hammer?
[00:41:52] Speaker B: Shield.
[00:41:53] Speaker A: So, maiden, you are going to take.
You're gonna take 15 damage.
[00:42:02] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:42:04] Speaker E: I'm. I'm gonna eat that. You know, I'm gonna actually take it.
[00:42:07] Speaker C: Are you gonna take it? Is that minor for you?
[00:42:10] Speaker E: Oh, I need to check if I'm boed.
[00:42:11] Speaker C: It is.
[00:42:12] Speaker E: It is minor.
I'm boffed.
[00:42:18] Speaker C: I don't think you've ever not been boved. You have yet to roll a 6 on a D6.
[00:42:23] Speaker A: It'll be the fine. It'll be the final.
It'll be the final strike.
[00:42:27] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:42:28] Speaker A: And you'll just be like the final
[00:42:30] Speaker C: strike of the campaign.
[00:42:31] Speaker B: Unboxed, finally.
[00:42:34] Speaker A: So, yeah, Murden, as you. As you're unable to sort of see this creature, you also don't realize that you're in front of Lucretia as you take this barrage of seed damage for her.
[00:42:51] Speaker C: Thank you.
[00:42:55] Speaker A: Who would like to go next? I've got Pally and I've got Lucretia.
[00:42:58] Speaker C: I was just gonna whack it with some more magic, the vine guy. But, yeah, if that would be helpful. I don't know.
[00:43:06] Speaker A: Okay. Lucretia.
[00:43:07] Speaker C: Okay, Just. Yeah, let's. Let's whack it. A little bit of great stuff. I would also.
I have no hope left for my experience, but I can spend a stress instead, and then I double the experience. So I'm gonna do that.
[00:43:21] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:43:23] Speaker C: I'm gonna use my special interest in the natural world again.
How do I. I don't think.
Yeah, I'm not. I'm not.
It doesn't want me to use a hope, so I'm gonna. I guess I'm gonna roll anyway.
It's a crit.
[00:43:42] Speaker A: It's a crit.
Fantastic.
[00:43:46] Speaker C: So I don't have to trigger my sigil, do I? I can just attack it normally.
[00:43:51] Speaker A: You can just attack it normally.
[00:43:52] Speaker C: Stacking D8.
[00:43:53] Speaker A: Yeah, go for it.
[00:43:54] Speaker C: Right.
But I do need to before. Before I forget. I do need to just mark that stress on my character sheets.
[00:44:02] Speaker A: Well, you got a crit, so you can clear it.
[00:44:04] Speaker C: Oh, perfect. Is that what happens when you.
[00:44:07] Speaker A: You gain a hope and clear a stress?
[00:44:10] Speaker C: Oh, nice. Okay, that's brilliant. Okay. I don't think I've ever had a dagger heart before.
[00:44:16] Speaker B: Right.
[00:44:17] Speaker C: So I'm gonna roll my dimage.
Roll it.
That is 36 damage, and it's magical. Of course.
[00:44:28] Speaker A: 36 damage with a 36.
That is major damage.
[00:44:36] Speaker F: Does it lose a head?
[00:44:37] Speaker A: And it does lose a head.
[00:44:39] Speaker C: Yay.
[00:44:40] Speaker A: So you're able to. You're able to whack off. Got to put 45. Then you're able to whack off one of these heads. And with that head sort of slide like exploding.
You can see these. This. These mouths sort of get dazed again as they're barraged by this magical damage.
[00:44:57] Speaker C: Yes. We love it. And I'm also going to take this opportunity to back off from the. The guy again. The tree guy. I'm just gonna be like.
[00:45:09] Speaker A: Enough.
I know that Pali was next. I was gonna ask Virgil. Was there anything that you wanted to do?
[00:45:18] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:45:18] Speaker B: I shouldn't work that out. I have one spell I think I can do.
[00:45:22] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:45:23] Speaker B: I'm going to cover him in even more vines.
Vision tangle.
[00:45:30] Speaker C: How do you like that?
[00:45:31] Speaker A: How do you like that? Takes your own medicine.
[00:45:33] Speaker F: Takes your own medicine. Yeah.
[00:45:35] Speaker B: Get him.
[00:45:36] Speaker A: Nice.
Make one successor. Roots and vines out.
Yeah.
[00:45:46] Speaker C: Are you going to vine the vine?
[00:45:48] Speaker A: You're going to vine the vine?
[00:45:49] Speaker B: I'm going to vine the vine man.
[00:45:54] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:45:54] Speaker C: The viner has become the viney.
[00:45:57] Speaker A: So sorry once again.
[00:45:58] Speaker D: Who.
[00:45:58] Speaker A: Which one is this to. Is this to the vine creature at the top or the.
[00:46:02] Speaker B: This is for the vine man.
[00:46:03] Speaker D: The vine man.
[00:46:04] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:46:05] Speaker C: The hydra.
[00:46:06] Speaker A: The hydra. He trusts.
[00:46:07] Speaker B: He trusts his friend to. To keep an eye on the tree man.
[00:46:12] Speaker A: So that is five damage. Which is.
Which is. It's only minor damage but still.
[00:46:19] Speaker B: Still over damage. And now he's restrained.
[00:46:23] Speaker A: So. He's restrained. So. Yeah. I can. I can almost understand that. It's sort of like these vines are actually sort of curling round and this creature's getting really confused about. These aren't mine. Where the bloody hell of these.
[00:46:34] Speaker B: This isn't my body.
[00:46:35] Speaker A: This is my body.
As this. As these vines are sort of whipping around it. It with that. Is there anything else you'd like to do?
[00:46:43] Speaker B: It's probably best if Brother Talons doesn't attack because his kind of damage doesn't seem to help very much.
[00:46:54] Speaker A: He's killed like two creatures already.
[00:46:56] Speaker B: I was just thinking in case it
[00:46:57] Speaker C: regenerates itself
[00:47:00] Speaker E: so it can't.
[00:47:01] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:47:02] Speaker B: Oh, that's true. Yes. So I might. I might just. Since I'm here. Since I'm here.
[00:47:14] Speaker A: That is a 16 with fear.
That just hits.
[00:47:19] Speaker F: Oh.
[00:47:20] Speaker B: Excellent.
That's what I like to see him.
Nice. 37.
[00:47:29] Speaker C: He's a beast.
[00:47:30] Speaker A: He is a beast.
[00:47:32] Speaker C: How does he. That's better than.
[00:47:34] Speaker F: That's better than Lucretia's Crit?
[00:47:36] Speaker B: Yeah, it's because he rolls like. Yeah, 3D twenties. It's insane.
[00:47:41] Speaker C: It's great.
[00:47:42] Speaker F: The companions in Daggerheart are crazy.
[00:47:45] Speaker B: They're so op.
[00:47:46] Speaker A: I mean a 37 and they can't die.
[00:47:48] Speaker D: It's even better.
[00:47:49] Speaker A: It's major damage.
Which means these heads start shriveling with this contact from Brother Talons.
He's done it again.
[00:48:06] Speaker B: As.
[00:48:06] Speaker A: As these heads start to sort of. The owl start to shrivel up and, and, and sort of then just die. They're just.
Why are we even here?
[00:48:20] Speaker E: Which is the roadies.
[00:48:23] Speaker A: It
[00:48:26] Speaker C: just here to carry his bags.
My Sigil only got one D8 on it and it's dead.
[00:48:36] Speaker F: Who's on the tree, man? Oh no, cuz he's the one with the sigil.
[00:48:41] Speaker A: Because you rolled with a fear.
I will be going again as another ash bore comes out, but not from where it originally came from. It's now more towards the nose of this creature as this sort of as.
As something hidden within the trees has now produced an ash bore and probably all of it.
So everyone, I think besides from maiden, can you all roll me a strength reaction roll?
Okay, so Lucretia got a critic, so that's fine. Virgil got a 10.
[00:49:45] Speaker D: I got 19.
[00:49:47] Speaker A: You got a 19, you've got an 8. Lucretia round seven. But it was a crit. Virgil rolled a 10.
So with that, while I wait for my map to load up, Bo and Virgil, you are now also vulnerable from these spores.
[00:50:09] Speaker F: How does it last? Like a round or.
[00:50:11] Speaker A: You have to use an action. You have to use an action to clear it.
[00:50:15] Speaker F: Okay,
[00:50:20] Speaker A: Let's.
My map's not coming up again.
Let me do one more refresh, see if that will help.
Because sometimes it can just take a minute.
Well, I'll give that a little while just to see if that will load up. But who.
Who was next? Was it Pally or Bo?
You had their hand raised.
[00:50:55] Speaker F: Don't worry, whoever. I don't mind.
Go Pally, if you like.
[00:50:59] Speaker A: So now that these. These spores have gone up, you see that there's another of these vine treants that are sort of down below by this creature Snout. This creature is still locked in vines. It doesn't appear that this hydrant has been killing. This hydrant has not freed.
Is still sort of wrapped in these vines. At the moment it definitely seems like it's more.
More the entire environment is actually holding down this creature rather than just that one vine.
So yeah, whoever wants to go next, Go, go, go.
[00:51:34] Speaker D: I think it's me.
Quick question. Nate, you have experience of prayer dice. I can give my paradise out, can't I?
[00:51:42] Speaker A: Yes, you can.
[00:51:43] Speaker E: Cool.
[00:51:44] Speaker A: But it's better to sort of give them out when someone's actually rolled.
[00:51:49] Speaker D: Okay, I see what you mean. That's good to know. In that case, then I will.
Very quickly I'm going to exchange something in my vault. So I'm going to exchange my center bolt, my browsing strike, and then spend two stress to take on second wind.
So I've got that now. So it's just useful if I need it.
I'm also going to.
So who's vulnerable?
[00:52:27] Speaker A: Yourself. Oh, no, not you. Palette Bow and Virgil and Lucretia still.
[00:52:34] Speaker D: Okay, cool. I'm going to move down to creature.
And using my new skill, restoration, I can touch creature and spend any number of tokens because I have four tokens. Because strength is my spell. Castrate as a serif. You can also spend a token from this card when touching a creature to clear the vulnerable condition or heal a physical or magical ailment, depending on the strength of the ailment.
So, yeah, basically, am I okay to the creature's vulnerability?
[00:53:21] Speaker C: Yeah, that would be lovely. Yes.
[00:53:23] Speaker D: Cool. So I'll do that.
So now I have three. So if anyone desperately needs to have their vulnerable condition taken off, let me know and I will come.
Nice.
[00:53:38] Speaker A: Cool.
[00:53:39] Speaker D: And then I was gonna. If everyone's okay, I was just gonna go run to the. To the nearest seed man and I was gonna go give him a whack.
So that was my plan.
I'm happy to roll rigidity because I've moved a lot in the last few minutes.
Technically, if you want me to roll a J for that, Nate.
[00:54:00] Speaker A: Yes, please.
[00:54:01] Speaker D: See if I get that far.
[00:54:04] Speaker A: Cool.
[00:54:11] Speaker D: Eighteen with hope.
Hope.
[00:54:14] Speaker A: An 18.
An 18 with hope. Yes, that does hit.
You might have to tell me, folks, cuz my chat has stopped again.
[00:54:21] Speaker B: Oh, cool.
[00:54:22] Speaker A: No. Yes.
[00:54:23] Speaker D: 18 with hope is my agility roll. And now I'm going to. I haven't hit him yet. I'm just going to. I'm going to hit the guy.
[00:54:29] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:54:33] Speaker D: Train since birth hit.
Which is a 19 with hope.
[00:54:41] Speaker A: And 19.
So you. You've hit him for a 19 with hope.
[00:54:46] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:54:47] Speaker A: Okay.
So yes, a 19 does hit.
[00:54:51] Speaker D: Fantastic rolling damage.
That's 15 points of damage.
[00:55:00] Speaker A: 15 points of damage. Yeah. As you bring up Moon Cleaver and sort of get it into like these thick vines that are jutting out from this creature, Moon Cleaver does get sort of stuck in there, and you can feel that you've only done sort of like a slight bit of damage. So that's only minor damage.
[00:55:18] Speaker D: Sure, sure.
[00:55:20] Speaker A: Bo, I think you're next.
[00:55:23] Speaker F: Graphic.
Oh, well, they're both got boys next to them.
Let's do a Roy Tooty point and shooting.
Get this boy up.
I am going to use.
Reckless, which means I can mark a stress and gain an advantage.
I gotta shoot the one next to. To murder. I think she's already had some demar to it, as you find.
Come on. Gun, where are you?
[00:56:19] Speaker A: Where are you?
[00:56:19] Speaker F: Gun, where are you?
[00:56:21] Speaker B: Gun.
[00:56:25] Speaker F: Gun.
[00:56:27] Speaker A: Shoot for gun.
[00:56:29] Speaker F: 29.
[00:56:30] Speaker C: What?
[00:56:31] Speaker A: And does that. And does that turn into a hope?
[00:56:34] Speaker F: That's. I can mark that so it doesn't turn into a hope. I just gain a hope so it stays as a fear for you.
[00:56:42] Speaker A: Okay, so I still gain a fear.
[00:56:43] Speaker F: You still gain a fear, but I gain hope.
[00:56:45] Speaker D: Okay, cool.
[00:56:45] Speaker F: If I roll with fear, I gain hope, but it still stays as a fear for you.
[00:56:49] Speaker A: Cool.
[00:56:49] Speaker D: Cool.
[00:56:50] Speaker A: Yes. A 29 does hit
[00:56:53] Speaker F: kill.
[00:56:57] Speaker A: Bloody hell, bones.
[00:56:58] Speaker F: 41 wounds.
[00:56:59] Speaker A: 41. A 41. Yes.
[00:57:02] Speaker D: This.
[00:57:02] Speaker A: This vine almost trying to come up towards Murden, then suddenly fills this barrage of bullets as that is severe damage.
[00:57:12] Speaker F: Get it?
[00:57:16] Speaker A: Yeah. Because you rolled with a fear. I am going to say I'm gonna spend a fear and it's going to do another sp. Boar explosion. Everyone. Can you give me. Everyone's pretty much besides from Pally.
Can everyone give me.
[00:57:33] Speaker F: I'm already vulnerable.
[00:57:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:57:36] Speaker C: Become super vulnerable.
[00:57:38] Speaker F: Do I become super vulnerable?
[00:57:44] Speaker B: Don't give me.
[00:57:45] Speaker C: Cannot roll tonight.
[00:57:49] Speaker F: Wondering if it would. If I roll, will it make any.
[00:57:52] Speaker A: Can you. Yeah. Could you please roll with me?
Also, you're gonna have to tell me again because my chat's gone again.
[00:57:59] Speaker C: I got a 10.
[00:58:00] Speaker A: You got a 10?
[00:58:01] Speaker F: 10 for Lucretia, an 18 for Murden.
[00:58:04] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:58:04] Speaker F: And a 16 for me.
[00:58:06] Speaker A: 16 for you.
[00:58:08] Speaker C: Did you roll my reactions tonight?
[00:58:10] Speaker A: So.
And for virgin as well.
[00:58:14] Speaker C: I thought I rolled.
[00:58:15] Speaker B: So let me try that again.
[00:58:21] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:58:24] Speaker A: And 11 for Virgil. Virgil, you're already vulnerable, aren't you?
[00:58:28] Speaker B: Yep.
[00:58:29] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:58:29] Speaker B: Super vulnerable.
[00:58:30] Speaker A: So, Lucretia, even with Pally helping you out and removing that vulnerability from you earlier, you then, you then again sort of feel those spores making you sort of sleepy and a bit sluggish. And you look at a valor and realize that he's also starting to feel that Virgil, you, on the other hand, have let that fatigue take over you. And you have now fallen asleep.
[00:58:55] Speaker F: Oh, no.
[00:58:55] Speaker A: You are conked out on the floor,
[00:59:00] Speaker C: guy.
[00:59:02] Speaker A: You still have control over Brother Talons. But as of the moment, it will take it Will take someone trying to wake up you up for you to wake up.
[00:59:11] Speaker B: I was going to see if anyone needed healing. I am the one that needs healing now.
[00:59:14] Speaker D: So I had a question. Based upon my restoration ability, if I use that on someone to wake them up, Would that remove that status?
[00:59:24] Speaker A: It will remove their sleep status, but it won't remove the vulnerable status.
[00:59:28] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:59:29] Speaker A: Or vice versa. It can remove the vulnerable status, but it won't Saturn.
With that as well. I'm going to spend another fear for the other one to also do.
If Lucretia Avala's gonna do it again, pally, let's actually have a look. Yeah. So pally, Avala's gonna do it again. Lucretia, a bow. And Virgil's already asleep. If everyone said.
[01:00:05] Speaker B: Do you need me to do it too?
[01:00:06] Speaker A: No, everyone besides from Virgil and Maiden. Can you all give me a reaction roll and tell me again?
[01:00:13] Speaker C: Oh, thank God. Finally. 16 for Lucretia.
[01:00:16] Speaker A: 16 for Lucretia.
[01:00:17] Speaker C: Hopefully that's enough.
[01:00:19] Speaker A: I'll roll.
[01:00:20] Speaker F: That's a reaction.
[01:00:22] Speaker A: Yes, a reaction roll.
[01:00:23] Speaker F: Roll.
[01:00:25] Speaker A: What did a valor roll?
Nine.
A valor rolled a nine. Okay.
[01:00:34] Speaker E: Eight from Bo.
[01:00:35] Speaker A: Eight from Bo.
So Bo, you Elysia. You're sort of looking over at this. Your eyes have not left a valor as you know that he's potentially a target. As you see him sort of slump down to his knees and also also fall asleep. As you're just about to make a step to go over to him, you then also cannot help but this wave of tiredness sort of bring you to your knees and you also are then in a deep sleep.
[01:01:05] Speaker F: Ever since he got attacked in the middle of the night by a bear, he just hasn't been sleeping much.
[01:01:14] Speaker A: So currently at the moment, we have. We have Virgil and we have bow out of the picture. Miran, you have your. Your hand up. What would you like to do?
[01:01:27] Speaker E: I slap us all. Yeah, this. Well, this thing keeps on puffing spores in my face off.
Right? So I'm going to unleash the beast within.
[01:01:41] Speaker F: And.
[01:01:45] Speaker E: That is a 20 with hope.
[01:01:48] Speaker A: A 20 with hope. A 20 with Hope does hit.
[01:01:52] Speaker E: Okay, well, interestingly, someone is going to rage up.
Am I B
[01:02:07] Speaker F: day?
[01:02:07] Speaker A: Hey, Bov day.
[01:02:09] Speaker E: I am b.
I am definitely buffed. Right? Okay, so I. So I'm adding plus 8 to this damage, which is 25. So 33 damage to this tree stump.
[01:02:33] Speaker A: 33 damage.
[01:02:37] Speaker E: Let me just double check.
Sorry. 33.
[01:02:42] Speaker A: 37.
[01:02:43] Speaker E: 37 damage with body basher.
[01:02:46] Speaker A: 37 with damage is major damage.
But Maiden, tell me how this looks as this Creature takes a right. Thrashing to death.
[01:03:02] Speaker E: I'm. So where are the spirits spores emanating from?
[01:03:05] Speaker A: It just. It. They just kind of have like these little bulbs on them where these spores are coming out.
[01:03:12] Speaker E: Okay.
In which case each pore stabs into like two of these bulbs. One the left, one on the right side. And then with this horrifying raw. I rip it into like three bits.
A left, a right and the center. And just sort of like fling the. Fling the bits around. And then like rubbing my snout to try and get the spores off.
Turn to regard the. The others.
[01:03:40] Speaker A: Could you give me a strength reaction? Roll.
[01:03:52] Speaker E: 17.
[01:03:52] Speaker A: 17.
[01:03:54] Speaker E: This train has no brakes.
[01:03:56] Speaker A: Yes. Even though this barrage of spores is going right into your eyes, in your nostrils, in your mouth, making you sneeze and wheeze, it doesn't seem to be your. Your whole constitution just seems to be able to.
To be able to keep up with the fatigue effects that that is trying to impose on you.
[01:04:16] Speaker E: Okay.
A roll of hope.
I'm gonna.
I mean, I'm very angry, aren't I?
[01:04:27] Speaker F: You can angrily wake me up.
[01:04:31] Speaker D: Step on every one of the super.
[01:04:33] Speaker E: Just. I'm. Go trample everyone.
I'm. I'm just gonna have to beeline.
Yeah. Blood bloodlust is a thing. I'll do an agility roll for you to see how far I get.
I've rolled a crit.
[01:04:49] Speaker D: Nice.
[01:04:50] Speaker A: The moon.
[01:04:53] Speaker E: Okay. So I'm not. I'm. I'm half. I'm two thirds of the way to the other one. I think that's an easy way of clear. If this is the more accurate way, like the more reliable way of clearing stress rather than my.
My wolfkin ability
[01:05:11] Speaker F: every time. Why are you even.
[01:05:16] Speaker E: Unless I. Unless.
Unless I've rolled a crit. Keep going.
[01:05:21] Speaker A: I'll let you go. Considering that you rolled a crit.
[01:05:27] Speaker E: Here he comes.
We're going to.
I'm going to beast within it.
[01:05:33] Speaker D: Daniel.
[01:05:35] Speaker E: Hello.
[01:05:37] Speaker D: I was going to.
It's fine. I talk to you in my turn. It's all good.
[01:05:43] Speaker E: Okay.
Angry bear hits for 15 with fear.
[01:05:49] Speaker A: 15 with fear.
Doesn't hit.
[01:05:52] Speaker E: He's getting tired. He's getting tuckered out.
I'm doing laps of a God.
[01:06:07] Speaker A: This creature now seeing both Pally and this giant bear sort of like run up towards him and take a swipe.
He is going to take root, which means he's going to mark a stress, which means he can't go anywhere. He's restrained, but he's now also resistant to physical damage.
[01:06:27] Speaker C: Oh, cheeky.
[01:06:30] Speaker A: Okay.
And that's his go.
[01:06:36] Speaker D: Interesting.
If people don't mind me having a go, I was going to use my paradise to give me three hope and I wondered if me and the Besh attacked him together. So if you're. If you're happy with that.
[01:07:01] Speaker F: Yeah, take it out.
[01:07:02] Speaker E: Mirdin's always happy for some fisticuffs.
[01:07:05] Speaker D: Fisticuffs.
So yeah, I was going to.
Maybe I'll swipe at his.
His legs as the bear kind of goes at the top or something like that.
[01:07:17] Speaker E: Okay.
[01:07:18] Speaker D: Have a better idea
[01:07:20] Speaker E: now?
Just got to burn. Burn another experience. Burn my hope.
[01:07:28] Speaker D: Actually, yeah, no, it's a good point.
I would have had another one cuz it's three. I already had one hope so I can cleaner.
[01:07:44] Speaker F: 26 with hope, 26 with hope.
[01:07:48] Speaker A: Cool.
[01:07:48] Speaker D: That means I hope it's gone tag team.
Yeah, I think we'll go with the 26 with hope.
[01:07:55] Speaker A: Shall we go for the 26 with hope?
Yes, the 26 does hit.
[01:08:02] Speaker E: You'll be pleased to know this bear is very angry
[01:08:09] Speaker A: and it is
[01:08:13] Speaker E: still buffed.
[01:08:15] Speaker D: What do you need to roll to not be boss?
[01:08:20] Speaker C: It's a one in six chance every time.
I do not know how many times you've done it.
[01:08:25] Speaker E: We are 14 episodes in and I'm
[01:08:27] Speaker A: yet to roll the six gestures from then.
[01:08:36] Speaker E: Okay, right, so I've gone gone for you.
[01:08:41] Speaker D: I. I was going to roll my damage cuz you have more damage to add than me probably, so. Oh,
[01:08:52] Speaker E: So you've done 15 and then I'm doing 41 but it's halved.
So 20, so 35 damage. Total physical magic.
[01:09:13] Speaker A: That is major damage.
Okay, as the two of you then take a barrage onto this, onto this vine, vine, treant.
Because you've done major damage.
Virgil and Bow, would you give me another strength reaction roll?
[01:09:37] Speaker F: Yeah. The two strong boys.
Two strong boys.
Here we go.
[01:09:46] Speaker A: What did you get?
[01:09:48] Speaker F: 10 and a nine.
[01:09:49] Speaker A: 10 and a nine.
[01:09:50] Speaker F: Yep.
[01:09:51] Speaker A: Yeah. You're both still snoring away.
[01:09:54] Speaker B: We needed this rest, okay? We're tired, boys.
[01:09:57] Speaker C: We're just little, little lads.
[01:10:00] Speaker A: Little old lads.
[01:10:04] Speaker B: Can I ask a cheeky question?
[01:10:07] Speaker A: You can ask a cheeky question.
[01:10:08] Speaker B: So I have features. I have creature comfort features.
It says once per rest, when you take time during a quiet moment to give your companion love and attention, you can gain a hope or you can both clear a stress.
Can I. Can I be comforted by my owl and be woken up?
[01:10:27] Speaker A: No,
[01:10:30] Speaker D: sorry, it's not a character.
Let's be honest.
[01:10:34] Speaker B: No, that's true.
[01:10:35] Speaker A: He doesn't give a brother talons.
[01:10:37] Speaker E: Has found you wanting.
[01:10:39] Speaker A: Yeah.
But Brother Talons can make an attack.
[01:10:44] Speaker B: He is still on the field.
Can. Can I take the spotlight and.
[01:10:49] Speaker F: Yeah.
Might as well finish this guy off as well.
[01:10:53] Speaker A: Do Do. Be prepared. He is still.
He still is resistant to physical damage.
[01:10:59] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:10:59] Speaker B: Does that mean he can't be physically harmed or is he just.
[01:11:02] Speaker A: He takes half damage?
[01:11:03] Speaker B: It's hard. That's. Yeah.
[01:11:04] Speaker D: It's fair.
[01:11:06] Speaker B: That's all I can do. So I will be doing a little rolly
[01:11:14] Speaker F: this. 16 with hope.
[01:11:16] Speaker A: 16 with hope doesn't hit. Unfortunately.
[01:11:19] Speaker B: It dives straight past.
[01:11:21] Speaker A: He just goes mew into the ground. Yes. Unfortunately. Yeah. A 16 doesn't hit. But because you rolled with a hope.
Who's. We've got Pally and we got Lucretia. Who wanted to go next. Lucretia.
[01:11:41] Speaker F: You're mute.
[01:11:42] Speaker B: Mute.
[01:11:44] Speaker A: Thanks.
[01:11:44] Speaker C: Right. So this is the only enemy left on the field that we know of.
[01:11:50] Speaker F: Yes.
[01:11:51] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:11:51] Speaker C: Yes. Okay.
How's he looking?
[01:11:55] Speaker A: He's still standing. Relatively strong.
[01:11:58] Speaker C: Does it look.
So we've got a massive world spirit that's currently restrained by vines. Should we be trying to free him?
Slash them. It does anyone.
You tried a little bit, didn't you Murden?
[01:12:15] Speaker E: Yeah. And then got distracted
[01:12:19] Speaker A: by being a big bear.
[01:12:21] Speaker C: Oh. I mean I am. Pally's the one with an axe. But he's also.
Maybe I'll shout Palia to the vines. Palia. I've got this. And she'll do it. A zap at the. At the tree treant.
[01:12:39] Speaker A: Zap at the tree ant.
[01:12:40] Speaker C: Zap the tree ant. Yes.
So that is I think more special interest in the natural world.
Do I pro. I want to double my modifier.
My. My experience by using stress instead.
[01:12:58] Speaker B: Please.
[01:12:58] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
[01:12:59] Speaker C: Okay.
So I will. That's a 12 and 4.
What does that come out as? 22 with fear.
[01:13:08] Speaker A: 22 with fear. Yes. 22 with fear is beautiful.
[01:13:13] Speaker C: And the damage is not a huge amount. 16.
[01:13:20] Speaker D: 16.
[01:13:21] Speaker C: But it's magical.
[01:13:22] Speaker A: 16 is minor damage.
[01:13:24] Speaker C: Yes. Okay.
[01:13:25] Speaker B: That'll.
[01:13:27] Speaker A: But it definitely takes a little bit off this creature and it sort of buff its back.
As this magical damage is. It's still kind of struggling to. To move its roots out of the way as it's been rooted. But it's then taken sort of minor damage from this.
[01:13:42] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:13:42] Speaker A: With a fear. That does mean he is going to go next.
He is going to do another ash bore.
Not Brother Talons. What? Brother Talons is going to do an ash for if.
So. Yes. If the. If all.
Even Brother Talons as well. If all Four of you can do.
[01:14:05] Speaker B: Can I. Can I do that? Can he do that? Does he have that just out do do.
[01:14:10] Speaker E: And it uses your stats.
[01:14:13] Speaker A: Yeah, usual stats.
Strength roll please. Reaction roll.
[01:14:19] Speaker C: Strength reaction roll.
[01:14:24] Speaker F: Do I need to do when I'm asleep?
[01:14:26] Speaker A: No, you're asleep.
[01:14:27] Speaker C: I got 16.
[01:14:28] Speaker D: Somebody crit but it was a rejection roll. So that's. The crits today are even insane. We don't know what's happening.
I rolled an 11.
[01:14:37] Speaker A: He rolled an 11. Pally
[01:14:41] Speaker E: Miriam rolled a 15.
[01:14:43] Speaker A: 15 and brother talons
[01:14:49] Speaker B: huge 17.
[01:14:50] Speaker A: 17.
So I think after having breathed in all of these these, this amount of spores so far mid and you are now feeling the effects of this fatigue as well as probably because both of you are right in its grundle.
So both of you are feeling the effects of this sport as both of you. You become vulnerable as you can feel the fatigue. But Lucretia, this isn't your first radio. You. You are now getting used to this to this. And Brother Talons is flying around too fast to be to be affected as I'm also going to spend another fear.
This creature will mark a stress as it's going to do an arc. It's going to do another seed barrage.
A lot of you.
[01:15:40] Speaker C: How. How far do they go?
[01:15:41] Speaker A: They go far. Oh, close range. So yes, it's only going to be Brother Talons. Merden and Pally.
[01:15:48] Speaker C: Oh dear.
[01:15:51] Speaker A: What did that roll?
[01:15:53] Speaker E: Six.
[01:15:54] Speaker A: Six. I'm guessing that hits no one.
[01:15:58] Speaker C: Oh, he tried.
[01:15:59] Speaker A: He tried.
[01:16:00] Speaker B: He gave it his best. He's.
[01:16:01] Speaker A: He's also getting blinded by all these spores that are sort of coming out.
Yes, on that.
Go Pally, you go next.
[01:16:11] Speaker D: Sure. I was going to so like trying to shake the brogginess as best I can. I wanted to check are you happy with me using one of my restoration tokens on myself to make myself.
I mean does say touch another creature. So I just want to check if you were happy with that. If not. I'm happy.
[01:16:34] Speaker A: The thing is is that you can clear a state off yourself. It's just going to take your turn and then you won't be able to do anything else and then the spotlight will have to go to someone else.
[01:16:45] Speaker D: Interesting. Interesting. Can I clear someone else's instead?
Still doing the rest of my turn.
So I will clear.
Make him so he's good. Yeah.
[01:17:02] Speaker A: Yeah. You just waft. You just waft the. The spores out of his face.
[01:17:09] Speaker D: So now I had two left to do that too.
[01:17:11] Speaker A: So if you're gonna do that, that will be your only spotlight action. I'LL say, okay, okay. And then we'll move on to someone else.
So, yes, you. You are able to sort out murder and as you sort of like rest your hands on him and sort of relieve this sort of fatigueness that he's affected with.
Who would like to go next? Okay, go.
[01:17:35] Speaker C: I was just gonna ask. Can we encourage Avala to get a bit closer to all the action because he's got some special moves he can do.
[01:17:44] Speaker A: You could. But he's asleep.
[01:17:46] Speaker C: Oh, he's asleep. Sleep. Okay.
[01:17:48] Speaker F: He's a sleepy boy as well.
[01:17:50] Speaker A: He's a sleepy boy as well.
[01:17:51] Speaker C: He's a sleepy boy. Okay. I. I'd missed that. Sorry.
[01:18:02] Speaker A: Did you want to do anything or did you just.
[01:18:04] Speaker C: Oh, no, no, I. That wasn't me having a sorry.
[01:18:06] Speaker A: That was just me question. Then. Mir. And then if you want to go.
[01:18:11] Speaker E: Angry bear's going to angry bear and
[01:18:13] Speaker A: do it, do it, do it.
[01:18:17] Speaker E: I've got a hope. Let's go. Beast within.
Hiya.
An 18 with fear.
[01:18:25] Speaker A: 18 with fear does hit.
Ra Ra.
[01:18:31] Speaker E: Oh, I'm so stressed.
And I am
[01:18:40] Speaker A: not barbed.
[01:18:48] Speaker E: Okay. So I only spend one stress and with body basher, that's a plus 12.
So plus 12.
I need gnaw on this. So I go tooth and claw for 44 damage.
[01:19:09] Speaker A: For 44 damage.
44 damage is severe damage as you wail into this creature. And it finally explodes again into a puff of these.
Of even thicker now these pusa spores just like really sort of fly out.
[01:19:34] Speaker E: I got you, fam check. It's a five.
It's a nine.
[01:19:39] Speaker A: Sorry, it's a nine.
Pally, can you also give me so Pali, you're still vulnerable. Lucretia, you're still vulnerable.
Could you also give me. So you got a nine, maiden Lucretia, could you give me a roll? Yeah, give me an agility. Give me a strength reaction.
[01:19:57] Speaker F: Strength.
[01:19:57] Speaker A: Yeah, I got an 11.
[01:20:00] Speaker C: I'm just holding strong at 16 on all these roles.
[01:20:03] Speaker A: Now, Mirdin, it seems with as. As you sort of tear into this, into this vine creature, you get your snout right in there and you're just trying to devour anything to just make it stop living, to make it stop doing what it's doing. But the amount of these spores that you inhale that are going in have now. You now suddenly feel your consciousness start to slip as you then yourself go into a deep sleep.
Pally, you.
You unable to sort of like take another step to sort of help Murden with this last attack. You then sort of find yourself sort of like your Ax resting on the ground as you then also slump to the ground into a deep sleep.
[01:20:50] Speaker C: Hold up. Hold up.
[01:20:51] Speaker F: Just you.
[01:20:52] Speaker C: Is Lucretia the only humanoid alive like awake right now?
[01:20:58] Speaker A: Lucretia, as. As you look at your. As you look at your companions now sort of splayed on the floor, nothing looks really damaging to them. Like. Nothing looks like they're in danger. They are just in what looks like into the deepest sleep that they could possibly be in.
You then suddenly start hearing this. This wild spirit still looks very like this world. This world spirit still looks like wild eyed, like scared of what's happening. These vines still clutched around its body.
[01:21:36] Speaker C: Dear.
[01:21:37] Speaker A: But you.
You then suddenly start hearing this voice again and it goes, quite interesting.
You five are quite interesting.
Tell me, why are you so interested in my world?
[01:22:07] Speaker C: It's just Lucretia, eh?
[01:22:09] Speaker A: Yep.
[01:22:11] Speaker C: Brother Talons. Does he wanna. Does he wanna have a go?
[01:22:14] Speaker A: Brother Talons is also fast asleep.
[01:22:19] Speaker C: Right? Cool
[01:22:24] Speaker F: your world.
[01:22:26] Speaker C: Goodness.
We come in peace.
We are here to help.
[01:22:39] Speaker A: Here to help.
The only way you can help is by making our princess as happy as possible.
[01:22:52] Speaker C: Goodness.
Of course the princess will be protected at all costs.
We are curious what has been powering this land
[01:23:13] Speaker A: that is of no concern to yours.
I seen the way that you protect.
Quite violent the five of you are.
I say you can help the princess in other ways.
Maybe entertain her.
Entertain her in her dreams.
Make her dreams happy and joyful and playful and wonderful as her little world should be.
And as you try to. As you try to stammer and get words into her, try to get word into this sort of very or fairy tale lady's voice.
[01:24:01] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:24:02] Speaker A: You then cannot stop yourself from fainting to the ground and also falling into a deep sleep.
[01:24:12] Speaker C: Darn it.
[01:24:18] Speaker A: Lucretia. You find yourself awoken on the grass.
It's no longer dark and frightening like it originally was. It is now even more brighter, almost cartoonishly bright on how fluffy this grass is, how puffy these clouds are. It is now bright daylight and you find yourself in a meadow.
You. As you. As your eyes sort of flicker open, you find it difficult to stand.
As you find your legs are somewhat different as they sort of.
As they sort of buckle as you. As you can feel yourself almost feeling. Almost feeling like a sort of. Like a newborn like fawn trying to sort of rear yourself up on your legs, on your arms, on four legs.
As you try to sort of rear yourself up as you kind of look at the rest of your companions as they also struggle to raise themselves onto four hooved Legs.
[01:25:43] Speaker D: Oh, no.
[01:25:44] Speaker C: Stop.
[01:25:47] Speaker A: Is obvious that you are no longer in Sanctuary. You are somewhere much more colorful, much more brighter, much more magical.
As the five of you look at one another, you can't help but feel that this is. No. You are no longer yourselves.
[01:26:18] Speaker F: Yes,
[01:26:22] Speaker A: Nathan.
Next session we won't be playing Daggerheart.
We're gonna take a little sideline into the Tales of Equestria, the My Little Pony roleplay game. No.
[01:26:39] Speaker D: Oh my God.
[01:26:42] Speaker A: How? As you are now in the dreams of Princess Rejoice, who particularly likes horses.
[01:26:52] Speaker B: Look how cute I am.
[01:26:55] Speaker C: God damn you, Nathan.
