[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hello and welcome to the Explorers of Elsewhere Tales from Elsewhere Sanctuary. My name is Nate. I'm your gm. Hello and welcome. I hope you're having a lovely day.
Here with me are five wonderful, beautiful people. Hello, Livy.
[00:00:15] Speaker B: Hello.
[00:00:16] Speaker A: Hello, Julia.
[00:00:17] Speaker C: Hi.
[00:00:17] Speaker A: Hello, Georgia.
[00:00:19] Speaker D: Hello.
[00:00:20] Speaker A: Hello, Theo.
Hello.
And hello.
[00:00:23] Speaker D: Dan.
[00:00:24] Speaker B: Hello.
[00:00:26] Speaker A: As you probably have told, we are the Explorers of Elsewhere. We play all sorts of TTRPGs on here. Tonight we are playing Dagger Heart, which we have for the past 12 episodes coming into episode 13.
But we've played some more Dagger Heart in the past. We've also played D and D. We've played Blaze in the Dark, we've played Draw Steel in our live stream. We've just finished playing Cult of the Lamb and we are now probably well underway playing Favor Ultima, which is the new live stream short play game that we're doing at the moment. So if you fancy that we also play on Mondays at 7:30 UK time, please come and join. Join in the chat and see. See how that story is going along.
We if you are interested in this episode after it finishes and you want to find out more, if you join as a member or join as a Patreon, you can watch episode 14.
Would this be episode 13? Yes, it would be.
So you can watch episode 14 right now and it's available a week early to our members and to our Patreons as well. But we also have a Discord, which is absolutely free and you can join and you can have a natter along with that. We have an affiliate link with RP with DriveThruRPG. They give us a little bit of money if you go through our link, which is absolutely brilliant, but it doesn't cost you any extra and you don't have to buy Dagger Heart. You can buy whatever they have on their site, which is absolutely brilliant and it helps the channel keep chugging long.
If you're watching this, probably it has. It has been announced for a couple of weeks now that myself and my partner Chris, we run a comic convention called Pride Caf. That's Pride Caf. It's a comic festival that celebrates lgbtqia, independent comic and zine creators. If you fancy coming along and you're one of those people, then you can still probably apply. You can go to our socials, you can go to our website, which is pridecaf.co.uk and you can find the application form then. But if you can't, it'll be happening in September and please do come along, it would be great.
With all that said and done, let us Go back to the campfire.
[00:02:38] Speaker C: Hello, I'm Julia and I play Lucretia, a lorevar wizard.
[00:02:44] Speaker E: Hi, my name is Theo and I'll be playing Pally, a wolf kin Seraph.
[00:02:51] Speaker D: Hi, I'm Georgia and I'll be playing Vergil, a sanguivar ranger.
[00:02:57] Speaker F: Hi, my name is DM Dan and I'm playing Myrdden, a Wolfkin Guardian Druid.
[00:03:04] Speaker B: Hi, I'm Livy and I'll be playing Bo, the dragonsent warrior.
[00:03:10] Speaker A: And my name is Nate and I'll be the GM for this advent.
[00:03:31] Speaker E: Foreign.
[00:03:38] Speaker A: So the five of you have now sort of integrated yourself within the traitor's camp. It is definitely feeling more like these are not sort of like the bloodthirsty traitors that you may have originally been made to believe.
Lucretia has been reunited with her long lost sister Valyria and has found out some interesting information on what possibly could be going more on within Sanctuary as in the world itself.
The five of you are now sort of sitting around a dying campfire as the evenings are sort of drawing to a close and people are sort of heading off back to their. To their bunks and their camps and their tents and so forth.
As.
As he sort of lifts himself up, Aala sort of gives you a pat on the shoulder pally, and says, like it really nice. Really nice talking to you.
I'll see you in the morning.
[00:04:42] Speaker E: See you in the morning. Thank you.
Thank you for the chat.
[00:04:46] Speaker A: Thank you.
And he. He sort of. He waves at the rest of you and sort of pootles back off to his tent.
So the five.
He's. He sort of pootles off to the. He poodles off to the west.
[00:05:05] Speaker B: How many tents in?
[00:05:08] Speaker A: He. He sort of. He passes by a tent and then you cannot see him anymore.
Are you specifically looking out Bo?
[00:05:17] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:05:18] Speaker A: Yep. Excuse me.
I would actually to. To stop other people from seeing that you're having a good beedy.
Could you give me a presence check?
So sort of slyly.
[00:05:35] Speaker B: A sly check.
[00:05:37] Speaker A: A sly bd.
[00:05:38] Speaker B: Yeah, a sly BD Wait, Can I
[00:05:54] Speaker A: slidey.
[00:05:55] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:05:56] Speaker B: Can I use one of my abilities?
[00:06:01] Speaker A: You're more than welcome to.
[00:06:02] Speaker B: It's called Death Deceiver. I spend a hope, but I gain advantage on a roll. To deceive or trick someone into believing a lie, you tell them.
So I am tricking people.
I'm gonna stand up and go, oh, good night, everyone. Yeah, yeah.
Oh, I'm so tired. I'm just gonna go. Just. Ah, that tent over there looks very, very comfortable.
Yeah, no, he's just gonna get up and he's just a.
[00:06:37] Speaker C: He's gonna say that he needs to stretch his legs.
[00:06:39] Speaker D: Flawless. Absolutely.
[00:06:42] Speaker B: And have a little wander around.
[00:06:43] Speaker A: Yeah, sure.
[00:06:50] Speaker B: Cool. So I am going to. As presents for something that you wanted.
[00:06:55] Speaker A: Yes, please.
It's tasty.
[00:07:09] Speaker B: If I roll with fear, I get to hope. You still get a fear, but I also get a hope.
[00:07:18] Speaker A: Nice.
Yeah, you with a 20.
What. What are you saying to the others?
[00:07:25] Speaker E: Just.
[00:07:28] Speaker B: Oh, the sittings got me.
Got my legs feeling a little sore. I'm just gonna have a little. Just a little wander around and he's gonna get up and just have a little. Little walk and look as he's walking.
[00:07:45] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:07:46] Speaker A: To the four of you, that doesn't seem anything out of the ordinary. It's just you have been sat down for quite a while, so it's like. Yeah. Why?
[00:07:53] Speaker D: He is a sleepy man.
[00:07:59] Speaker A: So. Yeah. Bo, watch. Where are you? Are you following Avala?
[00:08:03] Speaker C: Just.
[00:08:03] Speaker B: Yeah, just following it.
[00:08:04] Speaker C: Can't believe you're gonna murder Pally's best friend slash lover. I just can't believe it.
[00:08:11] Speaker B: Just looking to see if I could do a murder. It's just that there's.
[00:08:15] Speaker C: There's options.
[00:08:16] Speaker D: It's a possible murder. Not guaranteed.
[00:08:20] Speaker A: Yes, you.
You follow behind, sort of sneaking behind. I won't make you do any sort of like, agility checks or anything like
[00:08:28] Speaker B: that, but I'm not sneaking. I'm just.
[00:08:30] Speaker A: You're just strolling along. Yeah, you. You're sort of. You notice that Avala sort of passed by a fair few tents and he's slipped into, like, a very sort of nonchalant, sort of simple, humble little single tent that he obviously has to himself.
[00:08:49] Speaker B: Has to himself, eh? Interesting. No witnesses.
Fine. He'll.
Yeah, that's it. I just.
[00:09:04] Speaker A: Oh, he's just there.
[00:09:09] Speaker B: What if I did?
And then he'll just kind of look at his surroundings and pluck it and then walk back again. Okay.
[00:09:19] Speaker A: So, yeah, you. You wander yourself back to the camp where the other. Where the other four are sitting around.
What conversations are sort of happening between the. Well, between you all. Now that Beau has. Has joined back,
[00:09:37] Speaker B: I would like to just have a quick recce with Pali.
Nothing to do with Pally at all. Sorry, Pali.
He has no idea that you're feeling emotional.
So you made a new friend.
Do you mention anything about, you know, anything brothers?
[00:10:03] Speaker E: No, we didn't really get into family. He was just part of a party in Felstram, a bit like us, and then ended up here.
Seemed pleasant enough.
It's been here six months.
[00:10:16] Speaker B: Six.
Can't have been here six months. We've been here.
We went missing, what, shortly before we arrived.
[00:10:24] Speaker E: It's six months that he said, Right? That was what was ruled by the transcript.
[00:10:28] Speaker A: He said six months.
[00:10:29] Speaker E: Yeah, six months.
Just checking I hadn't misheard my own information, but yeah, six months.
[00:10:35] Speaker F: Well, bear in mind, Beau, that the people of Sanctuary have said that they've been here for 30 years, but it's actually only been about three and a half.
[00:10:45] Speaker B: Oh, man, my landlord's gonna kill me.
I haven't put hours overdoing my rent already if I'm gonna come back in five years.
[00:10:57] Speaker C: No, no, it's all right, Beau. It's the other way around. You can be here for years and it'll only be months. Back in the. Back in elsewhere, don't worry.
[00:11:07] Speaker F: But do we know that?
[00:11:10] Speaker B: Well, yeah. What if we all arrive and get all crinkled up?
[00:11:16] Speaker C: I sort of look at Valyria a bit sheepishly.
[00:11:20] Speaker B: Sorry, ma'.
[00:11:21] Speaker A: Am.
[00:11:21] Speaker C: Sorry, ma'.
[00:11:22] Speaker A: Am.
[00:11:22] Speaker B: That came out my mouth and I didn't even.
[00:11:24] Speaker C: Sorry about him.
[00:11:26] Speaker A: Quite all right. I've heard worse.
[00:11:30] Speaker B: I'm just saying I. I had a vision of, you know, the beautiful Lucretia's sister, and you weren't quite what I was imagining.
No, I mean, no, not in like. I mean.
[00:11:41] Speaker C: Stop.
[00:11:42] Speaker B: I'm sure you were a beautiful woman. I mean, it's not that you're not a beautiful woman.
[00:11:48] Speaker E: It's.
[00:11:49] Speaker A: It's quite all right. I've had a.
I feel like I've already had quite a large and gifted life.
A small whippersnapper like as yourself is not going to bust my ego.
[00:12:13] Speaker E: It's quite nice to see Bo put in his face once.
[00:12:19] Speaker D: Said by Pally.
[00:12:21] Speaker E: Said by Pally.
Happy mercy. Pally,
[00:12:26] Speaker A: I do apologise, but it's getting quite late and I am. I am quite tired, considering I'm so old.
She mixes by and this old fuddy daddy must get to her chambers. So, Lucretia, the others have said that they've made you some tents which you are more than welcome to use for this evening. And I will see you in the morning and we will discuss. Maybe once you've discussed with your. With your friends, we can discuss next actions, probably.
[00:13:00] Speaker C: Oh, yes, of course.
Sleep well, sister.
[00:13:05] Speaker A: You too.
Good night, everyone. And she. She gets herself up, maybe sort of over exaggerating a bit how. How difficult it is to get herself up and. And then sort of just normally walks off towards the. Towards the hut again.
[00:13:22] Speaker D: Love her so much we stan a queen.
[00:13:32] Speaker C: Well, there is much for us to discuss.
[00:13:40] Speaker F: Sure.
[00:13:40] Speaker B: Did she have any ideas about what's going on in this place?
[00:13:44] Speaker C: You could say that.
And I think Lucretia will explain what was discussed with Valyria. So the whole sort of history around the House Soleimani being blackmailed to support the betrayer dragons and how Valyria and and co found themselves there are trying to overthrow that corrupt power.
This idea that the princess doesn't seem to be the. The highest power here. True things are manifesting, you know, through her perhaps. But actually there seems to be some kind of controlling power above that.
And she'll also just kind of not in a definitive way, just in an isn't this interesting way mention that the Mother Lady Blessing is not known to have come through the eschaton, but was not confirmed as dead either.
So he's disappeared. As far as we know.
But something seems to be trying to power this place and keep the princess sort of crystallized at the age she was when Sanctuary was created.
[00:15:10] Speaker D: That is quite some magic indeed being used in this place.
No wonder they're trying to take it from people.
[00:15:20] Speaker C: Yes, it must be hungry.
This land to sustain itself and the magic that is keeping the princess a child.
Valyria thinks that the only way out is to get to the bottom of this controlling power.
Perhaps one suggested course of action would be to speak to the princess rejoices court.
But I want to know what you all think.
[00:15:58] Speaker F: Maiden's got his thinking face on,
[00:16:03] Speaker E: does
[00:16:06] Speaker F: Nate. Would there be anything.
Would it be sensible if Maiden assumes that the. The thing, the creature that he saw in the woods before the Shadow Swords arrived was a world spirit?
[00:16:24] Speaker A: Yeah. You.
Myrden would be right to assume that the creature, the large creature that he saw, would most likely be a world spirit.
[00:16:39] Speaker F: If there is indeed such vast quantities of mana being used to fuel this place.
The fact that there is no primal, primal mana coursing through the.
Through Sanctuary itself is not helping. But the people of Sanctuary said they did not know of any world spirits. They did not know the phenomena of the world spirits.
But earlier today I saw one. I. I know I did.
[00:17:11] Speaker D: You.
[00:17:12] Speaker C: You saw one here?
[00:17:14] Speaker F: Elysia.
[00:17:16] Speaker E: Did Pali also see it? I feel like yes. Someone else also? I think so. I will corroborate.
[00:17:23] Speaker F: In which case, Mirden is staring directly at you, pally.
[00:17:28] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:17:30] Speaker E: No, yeah, I. I saw something to.
[00:17:33] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:17:36] Speaker F: Which begs the question why the Sanctuary is not, by our reckoning, a large place. How does a world spirit keep itself hidden from all of these curious eyes for that long?
[00:17:53] Speaker D: Why did it get here?
[00:17:55] Speaker F: How did it get here?
If. Perhaps there is reason to believe that if we were to find this world spirit, it is a deity, it would be filled with its own mana.
Perhaps it is a font that the people of Sanctuary can tap into that they don't yet know about.
[00:18:29] Speaker E: Is that not a danger then?
[00:18:33] Speaker B: Yeah, it sounds like you're offering them up as a juice box.
[00:18:38] Speaker F: On the contrary, it sounds like the. The extraction of this arcane manor is almost.
There's almost reactionary. It's a survival method that they have to keep on draining these children of mana in order to keep things ticking over. But if there were an alternative, if this woodland world spirit were able to provide mana to this place, heal it, like the world spirits are doing in elsewhere, then perhaps the people of Sanctuary will be spared such extreme sacrifices.
[00:19:26] Speaker C: To what end, though, Myrden?
Are you suggesting that one outcome here is that we leave sanctuary as it is and leave all of the people behind under the guardianship of this powerful world spirit?
[00:19:46] Speaker F: I.
It would be hypocritical of me to make a decision for the people of Sanctuary.
Given.
Given the state we find ourselves in backing elsewhere.
We should at the very least give them the choice.
But make sure it is a choice that is worth making.
[00:20:11] Speaker C: Leave them with something. A more sustainable power source, as it were.
[00:20:18] Speaker F: Yes, but we must also make sure that we must first. If. If we do do that, we would have to find the world spirit first just to. We would have to make sure the world spirit is in agreement.
But again, this world spirit has kept itself discreet for 30 odd years.
I worry that whatever it has seen has caused it to not want to make itself known.
[00:20:49] Speaker C: Can you find it?
[00:20:55] Speaker F: I stumbled across it by a happenstance in the woods earlier.
But I.
I feel that was not the first time that I met. I saw it.
I feel. I've.
I feel. I feel like it's been.
It's laid its eyes upon us before.
[00:21:16] Speaker E: Perhaps
[00:21:19] Speaker F: for lightning to strike once is one thing, but for the same.
For it to happen twice is not a coincidence. Perhaps we already have its attention.
Maybe we just need to figure out what scares it into hiding.
[00:21:44] Speaker C: Or we could ask.
[00:21:45] Speaker E: It.
[00:21:52] Speaker C: Seems to be drawn to you. You are tapped into primal power.
Maybe it will come to us if we make ourselves available.
[00:22:06] Speaker F: Perhaps I.
Perhaps Virgil is better suited to these
[00:22:16] Speaker A: more
[00:22:18] Speaker F: fragile diplomatic endeavors.
[00:22:24] Speaker B: I've.
[00:22:25] Speaker D: I've barely encountered a wild spirit in my life.
Just occasional eager animal.
But never something so large. Not since the war. And even then only from safety of the monastery. I. I truly don't think I'm the one from for this old thing.
[00:22:47] Speaker C: Or you could work together.
Combine your specialties perhaps.
[00:22:59] Speaker F: Mirdan is looking over at you Virgil.
There is clear self doubt in his eyes.
[00:23:07] Speaker D: I think Virgil radiates. I mean you've known each other before all this. I think he. He does. He radiates a certain.
He trusts you.
He's. He's never not trusted you. Even when you were a bear a little while ago.
[00:23:25] Speaker C: Would you still love me if I was a bear?
[00:23:28] Speaker B: What if you threw me through a wall? Would you still trust me if I was a bear now? So you can just keep
[00:23:37] Speaker C: probably a
[00:23:37] Speaker D: balding bear old man with a stick bear not quite as intim Koala bear. Yeah.
[00:23:49] Speaker E: Giving Georgia ideas. Stop it.
[00:23:52] Speaker F: To. To be fair if.
Yeah if Virgil's kind of radiating that and yeah to be fair, Mirden asked Virgil if he trusts him and then Virgil said yes when maiden didn't trust me.
So I think yeah that memory filtering back Mirden plus lips and it is something we can always try.
You seem awfully quiet, boy.
Nice, Ian says, looking over at Pally.
You look like you've seen a ghost.
[00:24:42] Speaker E: Funnily enough, there was something I wanted to talk to everyone about.
I don't know how many of you got close to the bigger backs building shadow or.
When I was fighting, I was seeing glimpses of something else.
So at the time there was shadow at the forest. But then other times there was fire and that figure in blue and white dressed like me with my ax.
And I can't shake this feeling that it's something to do with my dad. I don't. I. I honestly don't want to make it about me. I'm not Hope. I really really don't. But it was really weird that that is what I saw.
[00:25:41] Speaker D: It was way
[00:25:46] Speaker E: like every whilst fighting the shadow it would seem to flit and they would. It would be my dad's face. And I don't understand how that's possible. He is dead.
And just in case we come across them again.
It might happen again. I don't know. But if anyone gets close enough could Stacey. If that is even possible. If they go through a similar thing. Bo, you said you've met my father before. Perhaps if that comes up again you could let me know if it's similar.
I. I'd appreciate it a lot.
[00:26:29] Speaker B: Well of course. I mean he was a big guy but I.
I mean it wasn't.
[00:26:33] Speaker E: Not that big but. Yeah. Yeah it was weird.
[00:26:39] Speaker B: Oh that's.
[00:26:42] Speaker E: It's Odd.
[00:26:43] Speaker B: So strange.
[00:26:45] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:26:47] Speaker B: Nathan, above table. Did any of ourselves.
Did any of.
Any.
Did any of us also get feelings of flashbacks or.
[00:27:03] Speaker E: I've got a feeling I was the only one fighting in.
[00:27:08] Speaker F: But he was also a rage bear, so.
[00:27:11] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. While Murden. Actually, Murden did see the.
The flames while he was in the mushroom spore, but he probably didn't sort of clock anything else. Probably the only other person who did see anything like that was Brother Talons.
[00:27:32] Speaker B: And he's not telling us.
[00:27:33] Speaker D: Listen, I got talk with Wild life if we need to get this boy in.
[00:27:39] Speaker F: He's just got that John Rambo look in his eye. Yeah.
[00:27:45] Speaker B: Nice. And none of us else would have potentially.
[00:27:47] Speaker A: No.
[00:27:49] Speaker B: Have a feeling if it was psychosomatic, fear based or if it was real.
[00:27:58] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:27:59] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:28:00] Speaker E: Halle is also very aware that it might be to do with that, which is why he's flagging it now.
[00:28:05] Speaker B: Yeah.
Keep an eye out for it.
Work out if any of us else had a weird. A weird feeling. Okay.
Interesting.
Well.
Well, of course. But I'm. I'm kind of hoping that we don't see it again. I'll be honest with you.
[00:28:22] Speaker E: I mean, me too.
But it's still weird.
I like to know what it is like, why that happened. If it was something to do with those mushrooms. I don't know. But it might be that.
[00:28:38] Speaker C: That's.
[00:28:39] Speaker E: Yeah. This is his. Yeah, it's Pally. His name was also Palia. I have his things.
Yeah.
This is his ax. This is his shield.
So I don't understand how it's possible.
That's why it's confusing. I could understand if it's a.
I don't know.
I just don't know.
[00:29:05] Speaker B: Give him a little pat on the knee.
[00:29:10] Speaker E: How's Virgil doing?
[00:29:13] Speaker A: I was gonna say with that information. Virgil, with that very.
You. You've not really been sure who Pally is.
Like you, you've known that he looks like a face that you used to know.
[00:29:28] Speaker D: I also didn't know that his dad was dead.
[00:29:31] Speaker A: Well, that sort of thing as well.
[00:29:33] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:29:34] Speaker A: You weren't. You weren't completely sure that Pali and the Pali that you know were related in any sort of way. But it kind of links those things together. That Pally Jr. Is probably the Palia that you know, his son.
[00:29:50] Speaker C: Did I not speak to Virgil in one of the earlier sessions about.
[00:29:54] Speaker D: You did when we were at the pub?
[00:29:56] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:29:57] Speaker D: Yes, I. I think he mentioned that it was likely that they were. I can't remember.
[00:30:02] Speaker C: Okay, I see. I see.
[00:30:03] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:30:03] Speaker D: Yeah. You definitely Mentioned that he looks pale. Just. It's identical to a man. He had a relationship with him and he was a much younger man and it's freaking him out.
[00:30:12] Speaker A: There's. There's a definite. There's a definite more now certainty in your brain that these two are more like. They're very much likely father and son. But how do you feel about the
[00:30:23] Speaker B: same name, the same equipment, the same shield, same appearance?
[00:30:30] Speaker A: I mean, Virgil's not the most observant, so we can.
[00:30:33] Speaker D: He's spent the past like three years living in the wood.
He's not around people very often.
[00:30:40] Speaker A: But how does Virgil feel knowing that?
Do you just shout loudly, oh, he was your dad.
How does Virgil feel knowing that the palia that he knew is dead?
[00:31:02] Speaker D: I think. I think he.
He takes this kind of quietly. I think he was sort of sitting, listening, sort of contemplating wild spirits.
I probably sort of. If wild spirits are there, does that mean golden is there? And also, you know, there's that thing of what Merdin was saying with not being able to sense his. His wild spirit and also not being able to sense Gurgoldin and all of that kind of. And then I think this comes out of the blue with Pally to talking about his father and he just. He just kind of. He just takes. It's this kind of this resignation, this sort of understanding. I think he suspected it for a long time, especially considering the war.
The monastery took in people from both sides during the war to heal them and they had a. He very much pushed for.
Doesn't matter what side they're on, they'll be taken to be looked after. And I think he. He saw a lot of what the war could do and I think he kind of assumed deep down that probably he wasn't going to see him again. And then seeing this young man who looks so much like him suddenly kind of ignited this sort of. Maybe he would.
Maybe he was.
And. And it's just this settling of oh no.
[00:32:16] Speaker E: Yeah, it's not going to happen.
[00:32:20] Speaker D: I think suddenly what that little dream he had when he was in.
I think can't remember if it was in the river, if it was in the pub.
That dream that he had when he was younger. Yeah, that feels just a little bit more precious now.
[00:32:40] Speaker A: So the five of you have had sort of like a conversation about your next.
Your next steps. Is it believing that your next steps are going to be to find this world spirit?
[00:32:51] Speaker C: I think that does sound like a good lead at the moment.
[00:32:55] Speaker D: And we can do it on the way back to Yeah.
[00:32:57] Speaker B: I was gonna say on the way back it's not far out. We could just have a little swing by weirdly talk to nature and then we'll, you know, get on with it.
[00:33:06] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:33:08] Speaker E: We no longer have explorer anymore, so we're going to be flying with the sea with our pants anyway.
[00:33:12] Speaker D: We do.
Tony Beberman's gone
[00:33:18] Speaker C: the child.
[00:33:19] Speaker A: So yeah, you can see that the. The. The flames are flickering out and definitely the like exhaustion is now sort of taking its toll on the five of you.
You are will take this chance to have a long rest.
If you want to have any more. If there's any conversations that you want to have between either one or two of you.
If you just want to have your long rest. If you want to sort of do maybe a chatter while you're doing a prepare, you're more than welcome to what's the. What's the vibe? Let's go with. Let's go with bow first. What. What's Beau like to looking to do?
[00:33:58] Speaker B: Definitely needs to tend to his wounds.
And if someone is up for preparing, I would be also happy to prepare Prepare with someone if anyone needs to prepare or I will prepare by myself.
No one else need to prepare. Prepare, prepare, prepare, prepare.
[00:34:19] Speaker C: Remind me how joint preparation works. Is it two hope each or something?
[00:34:24] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:34:25] Speaker C: Makes sense to do that.
[00:34:35] Speaker F: Isn't someone capable of like passively mending other people's armor?
[00:34:41] Speaker A: Yeah. So if you. If you don't want to spend one of your long rest actions on yourself, you can do it someone else. So basically you can use your long rest to either fix your armor or you can use your long rest action to fix someone else's armor.
[00:34:57] Speaker F: That would be quite tricky of me to ask that.
[00:35:14] Speaker B: Damage 8. Oh, healing 8.
What did I do?
[00:35:24] Speaker F: Mid and will prepare.
On his own because he's a big grump.
[00:35:35] Speaker C: Oh, I need someone to prepare with.
[00:35:39] Speaker B: You want to prepare together? Actually, no, I don't want to prepare with you.
[00:35:47] Speaker E: I think I can prepare. I was just looking at. So yeah, because I know what I want to do for my long rest and I can do a prepare as well.
I am sort of being cheeky because I'm using a sparing touch first.
Is that okay if I use an ability that I can use by once while I rest?
[00:36:04] Speaker A: Yeah, you can do that.
[00:36:04] Speaker E: I don't have to. So cool. So yeah, I'll do a sparing touch to fix my hp I'll use.
I'll clear my stress and I will also do a prepare and I'm happy to prepare with you both you would like.
[00:36:22] Speaker B: Yay.
Let's prepare together.
[00:36:25] Speaker C: How you preparing?
[00:36:27] Speaker E: Oh, I know I can use that juice.
Yeah.
[00:36:32] Speaker B: I've got daddy issues. You've got daddy issues. I mean we could just share daddy of get murdered in. He is the daddy issue. I mean bring it.
[00:36:42] Speaker E: Truly, truly.
[00:36:44] Speaker C: He is the daddy and he's an issue.
[00:36:48] Speaker F: Look at me. Look at me. I am visual now.
[00:36:56] Speaker C: So how are you preparing?
[00:36:57] Speaker A: Yeah, how. How are the two of you preparing?
[00:37:01] Speaker E: Interesting.
[00:37:02] Speaker A: Doesn't have to be a conversation. It can be something fairly simple.
[00:37:05] Speaker B: I think we're just.
[00:37:06] Speaker C: Just work out.
[00:37:08] Speaker B: Work out.
[00:37:12] Speaker C: Shirtless, volleyballing in the night, playing by fire light.
[00:37:22] Speaker E: They could be like. We just knew they probably were working out.
Yeah.
Maybe they're discussing the route back.
Like how like their route back but also maybe shirtless.
[00:37:36] Speaker B: I think like. Yeah, like discussing probably like sharing tidbits on like armor and sword sharpening maintenance.
I think.
I think I just do things that like cuz he knows that Pally is obviously feeling a little bit vulnerable and like his Bo's dad, who's not a man of many words, is quite a practical man. And like Bo's. What would make Beau feel better when he was sad when he was a child would be like hanging out with his dad like today just cleaning your tools and doing, you know, just doing little bits with your dad. So I think he just wants to come in
[00:38:25] Speaker E: together.
[00:38:26] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, just do a bits together
[00:38:28] Speaker B: and just kind of trying to keep him a little bit more sort of.
Yeah, that's.
[00:38:33] Speaker E: That's very. That sounds great. Yeah. And I think though I do think Pan will realistically go try to go through the plan to be like. Okay, so if we go back to the forest and the way we came, that's where the original world spirit was. I remember rightly from when I saw it with Mood and it went in that direction which is still similar directions to the way we're going. So kind of talking through.
[00:38:55] Speaker B: Yeah, you did see it, right? It's not like just.
[00:38:57] Speaker E: Oh yeah, I definitely saw it. I definitely saw it.
[00:38:59] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:39:00] Speaker A: No, definitely.
[00:39:00] Speaker E: So you know, he's incredible.
[00:39:02] Speaker B: He's a bit crazy. I'm just an adult.
[00:39:06] Speaker E: He's all right.
[00:39:08] Speaker B: Oh, I think he's all right. He's just, you know, he's not just.
He's. He's all right, but he's not right, if you know what I mean, you know.
[00:39:17] Speaker E: Sure, sure.
[00:39:21] Speaker A: So that's your two actions, Beau Paley. You've. You've done a healing touch.
You've also.
You've also fixed armor slots as well. Yeah. Part of one of your long rests. And you've done your prepare.
Cool beans. Okay. So that's yours done as well. Lucretia.
[00:39:40] Speaker C: Lucrezia plans to clear her stress because she's on five of eight at the moment. And I would quite like to prepare.
That would be nice.
What does anyone. Does anyone want to prepare with Lucrezia? I think maybe she would approach Myrden because she picked up on his lack of self confidence in his own ability to approach the world spirit. And I think she would probably want to, I don't know, reassure him, strategize with him, you know, hopefully give him a sense of being supported and believed in for this endeavor. We're going on tomorrow and offering what support she can from an arcane pov.
[00:40:31] Speaker F: Yeah, he's definitely sort of like separated himself because he's like his prepare was going to be sort of like in a commas meditating, which is more just simmering
[00:40:46] Speaker B: a rolling boil.
[00:40:47] Speaker F: Yes.
But yeah, if you approach.
Yeah. He'll look up at you.
[00:40:58] Speaker C: Lucretia Mirdin, cup of tea.
[00:41:08] Speaker F: The face looks like it's a like about to knee jerk saying no and then he'll stop and that would be fantastic. Thank you.
[00:41:20] Speaker C: Tea makes everything better. And she will make some. Presumably there are some kind of tea making facilities.
Savages. Are they in this camp?
[00:41:30] Speaker A: No.
[00:41:30] Speaker C: So yes, make tea and sit down.
[00:41:36] Speaker F: I as you sort of like get the kettle. Myrdden holds her hand out and the flames of a campfire ignite a bit brighter as I use my wild touch.
[00:41:47] Speaker C: Hell yeah.
[00:41:51] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:41:54] Speaker F: I suspect that you're quite excited to meet a wild spirit.
[00:41:59] Speaker C: Well, always fascinating. Learn new things, particularly about the natural world, yet eat a world spirit. Valyria's met one, of course. She boasted about it for some time. Hold on. Julia is now having a crisis of confidence. The world spirits came about during the War of the Dragons. Right. That's when they arrived.
The very end.
[00:42:23] Speaker A: Very end.
[00:42:25] Speaker C: Would there have been just enough to time for Lucretia to speak to Valeria
[00:42:29] Speaker D: before it was the last thing she said to her.
[00:42:31] Speaker C: The last thing she said.
[00:42:32] Speaker F: No,
[00:42:37] Speaker A: I mean actually to be fair, like roundabout the time. Valyria probably wouldn't have seen a world spirit.
[00:42:46] Speaker C: No fair. That is fair.
So roll that back.
[00:42:52] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:42:53] Speaker C: No, it's.
[00:42:55] Speaker F: I suspect we're excited to see a world spirit.
[00:42:58] Speaker C: Very exciting to see a new aspect of the natural world. Valyria will be sick with envy.
[00:43:06] Speaker F: Myrdden kind of scoffs a little bit. And natural world.
I struggle to see Anything natural about this place?
[00:43:17] Speaker C: Oh, I don't know, Myrden. Just because it's different from what we're used to doesn't mean it isn't part of nature and the world. It's just strange and new.
[00:43:32] Speaker F: Yes, there's a lot of.
There's a lot of new going around.
[00:43:40] Speaker C: How are you feeling?
[00:43:49] Speaker F: I think the pause is that long.
[00:43:52] Speaker A: It's
[00:43:56] Speaker F: Meerd.
[00:43:56] Speaker E: And
[00:43:59] Speaker F: I am.
I'm a man of principles.
I'm a man of decisive action.
I am a man of few regrets.
But ever since I've arrived at this place, I feel all of those things being stripped away from me.
Everything that I've held as gospel in my life is being challenged.
And I worry I do not have the foundations I once had to deal with them.
It must be good to see your family again.
[00:44:58] Speaker C: It is.
It is miracle. I never dared hope for.
And I feel truly lucky to have this opportunity, regardless of how many years I may have left to know.
[00:45:18] Speaker F: I would implore you to cherish that with every fiber of your being.
Do treat every day as if it could be the last.
But celebrate it as if it were the first.
Thank you for the tea.
[00:45:48] Speaker D: You're welcome.
[00:45:48] Speaker E: Aiden.
[00:45:52] Speaker C: If.
If it's not too much of an imposition to ask.
Who did you lose?
[00:46:06] Speaker F: Mirdin's eyes go a bit glassy.
Everyone.
And there's this like long steely look.
Like direct eye contact.
[00:46:32] Speaker C: She holds the look for a while. But with compassion in her eyes.
And she leans in a little bit. She says it's natural to feel uncertain and wrong footed when everything that you've known seems to be changing around you.
But Myrdden do have the foundation for the task ahead.
Surely one of the greatest things that an animal living out in the wilds can have is a sense of adaptability.
I need you to find yours,
[00:47:24] Speaker F: Bearden.
There's just a low. A low rumbling noise that emanates from somewhere in his throat.
[00:47:35] Speaker C: I'll leave you to it.
And she gets up and moves off towards her own sleep space.
[00:47:46] Speaker F: Lucretia.
[00:47:47] Speaker B: Hmm?
[00:47:51] Speaker F: Thank you.
For.
For a wizard, you're not all that bad.
[00:48:01] Speaker C: From you, Maerdin.
I'll take that as a compliment. Good night.
[00:48:09] Speaker A: And as the two of you part ways to your respected tents.
Virgil, how about your long rest actions?
[00:48:20] Speaker D: So he needs to clear his stress.
Here's a stressed boy.
[00:48:25] Speaker A: Stressed boy.
[00:48:27] Speaker D: Stressed boy. There he is. And also, can I get clarification on what's the difference between prepare and work on a project?
[00:48:38] Speaker F: Work on a project is like I'm Gonna build an airship.
[00:48:42] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:48:42] Speaker A: And it would be something that you would work on on a number of, like, long rests. But considering that we're probably not gonna have that many long rests, it's probably
[00:48:51] Speaker C: better just to let him build his airship.
[00:48:53] Speaker F: Joke's on you. We're building an airship. Nate.
[00:48:58] Speaker A: Oh, no. Get that map ready.
[00:49:01] Speaker C: Don't dim his light.
[00:49:04] Speaker A: I would say with prepare with the project as well, is that that doesn't give you the hope. So if you wanted hope, do a prepare. But if there was something that you specifically wanted to bring into, like the next day, then use that in your prepare. If there was, like, a small project that you wanted to create for. For this sessions anyway, we'll do that as a prepare.
[00:49:24] Speaker D: I. I just. I wanted to.
Because he's now got druid and he does have wild shape, I was wondering if there was some capacity of him sort of sitting down and trying to work out the best way of assisting his friend in his obvious crisis of confidence when they'll be talking to a wild spirit tomorrow. And I'm not saying the decision is going to be I'm going to turn into a bear, however,
[00:49:56] Speaker F: and we can high five, so go surfing together.
[00:50:02] Speaker E: So I didn't actually use my celestial trance earlier. So if you want to do another prepare, we can. We can prepare together if it's appropriate. So I can gain two hope and gain two hope.
[00:50:16] Speaker D: I see. This is a ploy, a cunning ploy to gain two.
[00:50:22] Speaker B: Look, he's hope farming.
[00:50:23] Speaker E: My boy. My boy likes. My boy uses a lot of hope. And also it's useful for everyone else because I give everyone else stress removal if I have hope.
Otherwise I cannot do it.
So, yeah, if you. If you would like it can. We can do that. So maybe. Maybe I go to find somewhere to trance.
You're going to trance, like. Oh, so that. That works for you. If you're finding somewhere quiet to practice your wild shape, he's gonna have a little.
[00:50:57] Speaker D: Little internal talk with Kogoldin.
[00:51:00] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:51:01] Speaker A: Cool.
[00:51:03] Speaker E: Just trout, a few.
[00:51:07] Speaker A: Fantastic. Is there anything else any of you want to. To do before you head off to your respective beds? And you do all have your own individual tents.
[00:51:18] Speaker B: Where's my tent?
[00:51:20] Speaker F: Not near mine, I would expect.
[00:51:22] Speaker B: Is it. Is it. Is it to the west and through your south?
[00:51:28] Speaker A: Funnily enough, yes. All of your tents are sort of towards the west, almost very close to a valor's tent.
That seems to be.
[00:51:39] Speaker B: Julia.
[00:51:42] Speaker C: Sorry. I just had this image of Beau, like, sticking his head through the tent flap into Avala's and being like, hey, neighbor, guess we're just in neighboring tents. How about that?
[00:51:58] Speaker A: Yeah, that definitely seems like where newer tents are being so sort of set up. Like they're very temporary tents.
[00:52:07] Speaker E: So.
[00:52:08] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:52:10] Speaker C: Lucretia's going to bed.
[00:52:12] Speaker E: I think as Lucretia goes to bed, I think Pali might like, as he walks past that end after his trance, he might poke his head in and just say. I just wanted to say I'm really happy you found your sister and her something. It meant a lot to you. So it's incredible that she's here.
[00:52:34] Speaker C: It really is. It's almost strange, but. Yes. Thank you. I feel very well. Dis.
Can't quite believe it, but I'm not going to look this particular gift horse in the mouth, you know.
[00:52:50] Speaker E: Of course. Yeah.
[00:52:51] Speaker B: How.
[00:52:51] Speaker C: And you, how are you holding up?
[00:52:55] Speaker E: I'm okay. I'm okay.
Feeling better than I did.
But I. Again, I don't know how this works. So I don't know if it's something that I was seeing because they were making me see it or if it was something true that I was seeing. I guess if it comes up again, I can test it. But you know you're always saying to test the variables.
[00:53:20] Speaker B: Right.
[00:53:20] Speaker C: I spent two years absolutely Palia. I'm.
[00:53:23] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:53:23] Speaker C: I'm so proud of you. Yes, we shall. We shall test it.
We shall. We shall come up with a hypothesis and we shall put it under rigorous experimental conditions or I can too far
[00:53:37] Speaker E: with my axe and see if I can see them. Okay. Anyway.
[00:53:40] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:53:41] Speaker E: Sleep well.
[00:53:42] Speaker C: You too.
[00:53:42] Speaker E: Thank you.
[00:53:43] Speaker C: Good night.
[00:53:47] Speaker A: And as the five of you settle into your tents for a night's rest, The sun rises the next morning.
[00:54:08] Speaker F: The.
[00:54:10] Speaker A: The camp still has that sort of dreary, sort of dark cloud over it. That wasn't what it was like when you woke up in Sanctuary just yesterday. But you can tell that definitely whatever has any sort of control over this area is making it as uncomfortable in the weather for you as possible. There's a slight drizzle in the air and it's muggy and it feels a bit moist.
So. But you all wake up sort of like slightly more rejuvenated from.
From what you originally were and are ready to start a new day.
[00:54:51] Speaker E: You.
[00:54:51] Speaker A: The.
The five of you.
[00:54:54] Speaker E: Who.
[00:54:54] Speaker A: Who wakes up. Who wakes up first and sort of heads over to the.
To the fire pit.
[00:55:01] Speaker E: I feel like I'm an early bird. I feel like Paddy's the kind of kids do like press ups and workouts.
[00:55:07] Speaker D: I was gonna say, is he doing press ups front of the fire at
[00:55:10] Speaker E: dusk, like, with like, he's a soldier, so that's going to be part of his routine. Just make sure he's fed, healthy for action later.
[00:55:17] Speaker B: The whole Mulan sequence.
[00:55:21] Speaker E: Yeah, exactly, yeah. Every morning.
[00:55:28] Speaker A: Yes, pally, as you've made yourself, made your way over to the tent, Made your way over to the campfire. Who. Who's the next to wake up?
[00:55:38] Speaker C: I think Lucretia, probably. Oh, go ahead.
[00:55:41] Speaker A: I mean, if both of you want to wake up, you can.
[00:55:44] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.
[00:55:45] Speaker A: So, yeah, Lucretia and Virgil, you're. You're sort of also Virgil. I like to believe that you're probably like an early riser anyway.
[00:55:52] Speaker C: Lucretia is just excited because she's found her sister, so she's probably going to wake up quite early.
[00:56:00] Speaker A: And I kind of get the feeling that you're probably the next one to wake up.
[00:56:03] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:56:04] Speaker A: And as you make your way over, Beau, are you doing anything before heading to the campfire?
[00:56:14] Speaker C: I feel like
[00:56:17] Speaker B: dragon. Dragon sense. It's like a bit cold and wet. We're like reptile. It like hot blooded, you know, it's a bit creepy in the morning.
Can.
As Beau exits his tent on the way via somebody else's tent.
[00:56:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:56:39] Speaker B: Is he in there or is he not?
He's gonna listen in to see if there's anyone in there or not. He's hoping not.
[00:56:47] Speaker A: As you pass by and listen in.
He's not in there. Avala's not in his tent.
[00:56:52] Speaker B: Can I barrel roll myself?
[00:56:54] Speaker E: Good?
[00:56:54] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. It's still fairly quiet around. There's no one. There's no one sort of around in the area.
So. Yeah, you. You are now in his tent.
There is a.
There is a bed roll that has been rolled up and tidied.
No, no, no dead brothers.
[00:57:18] Speaker C: Why would he been carting his dead roll brother around?
[00:57:21] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:57:22] Speaker C: I don't.
I just get the job done.
[00:57:26] Speaker A: You can. You can tell that he sort of keeps everything sort of like fairly clean.
[00:57:32] Speaker E: What.
[00:57:32] Speaker A: What makes it sort of like.
But there doesn't seem. There seems to be sort of like a pile of clothes in the corner, but there doesn't seem. Seem to be anything else. There's no, like backpack or, you know, traveling bags or anything like that sort of in here. There's just sort of like, stuff. There's like, clothes and maybe some.
Maybe some like a.
A tankard from drinking from the night before.
But that's a plate maybe with a bit of bread on it, but that's about it.
[00:58:11] Speaker B: Eat the bread you eat the bread.
[00:58:14] Speaker A: It's lovely.
[00:58:15] Speaker B: Oh, yes.
So. Yeah. Nothing. Nothing that he can. No books? No.
[00:58:20] Speaker A: No books or anything.
[00:58:22] Speaker B: Rubbish.
You got any nice plays?
[00:58:32] Speaker A: Yeah, they're all right.
You can have a little dig through them if you want.
[00:58:37] Speaker B: A little dig through?
[00:58:38] Speaker A: Yeah. You. You sort of dig through and nothing really sort of shows any interest.
You, you find like a pocket on one of these sort of jackets that he has and you pull out a small note.
Have a look on that note.
It says nothing.
[00:59:10] Speaker F: It's just a piece of paper.
Violence.
Yeah.
[00:59:22] Speaker A: You look around it. Nothing.
[00:59:24] Speaker E: This.
[00:59:24] Speaker A: It's just a piece of paper. Oh, it does happen to have like co. Quite a lot of different. Like it has like a lot of creased folds in it. Like it's been folded up into a square. But you can tell that it's been folded up into different ways.
[00:59:41] Speaker C: Is it one of those toys?
Three, two.
[00:59:47] Speaker B: Kill my brother.
I got. He's got a pocke at it. He's going to look at it later. Yeah,
[01:00:00] Speaker C: Love it.
[01:00:01] Speaker B: The folded could be LSD paper.
[01:00:04] Speaker A: We're going to have a wild ride.
[01:00:10] Speaker B: Cool.
[01:00:10] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:00:11] Speaker B: To pocket it and then just sort of nonchalantly slip out the tent again.
[01:00:16] Speaker A: Cool.
As you make your, your way over to, to the, the others, you notice that joining them is Valeria and Avala. Avala has got actually his whole rucksack sitting on his back.
Very suspicious and he's, he says like, he says like I, I hope you don't mind, but I, I, I'm hoping that I can come with you. I, they obviously don't note me in Sanctuary and I, I want to be of some help.
I've just been sat here doing nothing for a lot of the time and I really want to get back out there and help out in any way I can. If, if you'll have me, I can fight. I've, I've.
I'm good with my, with my sword.
Obviously you don't know me, but I really like to help.
If you'll allow me.
[01:01:23] Speaker E: Can I ask. Pali has spent the most time with him.
Can I roll essentially an insight check. Can I see if I can see what his vibe is?
Yeah, sure.
Cool.
[01:01:39] Speaker D: Just.
[01:01:39] Speaker E: I don't know, just in case.
[01:01:42] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:01:43] Speaker E: You know, just as you get good vibes, try and figure out if any of my experiences, I mean I have been portraying gold retrievals and account for this.
I mean I would argue that my trust me experience. Paddy's quite a trustworthy person. I think he's usually quite good at reading people socially. So even Even people who are quite guarded, you can usually on a vibe check field, figure out that he's used to grisly soldiers and all that jazz. Not looking at the. At Elysia, yeah, I'm gonna go. I have been trusting tho this entire time. And who knows if that's been a good decision or not, but I'll see how that goes.
Oh, that was not great.
[01:02:31] Speaker A: He's great.
[01:02:31] Speaker E: He's my new best friend. I don't know what. What the problem is.
[01:02:35] Speaker A: Yeah, you.
[01:02:38] Speaker B: Yeah, you.
[01:02:39] Speaker A: All good. You didn't want to add anything to that or anything. Yeah, yeah.
[01:02:42] Speaker C: You.
[01:02:43] Speaker A: You p. You just feel like this is actually great. You chatted with this bloke the night before and there is. There's no. Like, he seemed like a pretty down to earth fellow. Like, there's an element of him that you can relate to just wanting to sort of help, wanting to protect people. And it seems very much that's all he's wanted to do as Elysia.
So you're actually all for him joining you?
[01:03:14] Speaker E: I'm. I'm all good with him joining us. If everyone else is okay with it.
[01:03:22] Speaker B: The merrier.
[01:03:23] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:03:23] Speaker B: Bring him along.
[01:03:24] Speaker D: No reason why not.
[01:03:26] Speaker B: Looks like you'll be perfect for going into dark woodland and maybe never returning.
I mean, Ren returning.
[01:03:33] Speaker C: What?
Are you all right, though?
[01:03:37] Speaker B: So I was just hours away with the fairies, then I was just thinking.
Yeah, no. Come along. Traffic. Young ladies.
[01:03:47] Speaker A: Thank you.
I'll. I'll do my best to help where I can.
So you've had some time to speak to Valeria and tell her your plan. That you go to find this world spirit. She.
She has no knowledge of this world spirit. She's. Obviously. She doesn't know what one is. And. And she's fascinating.
No. My whole time here, I've never known such creature existed out here. But if you are sure. I. I obviously I believe you.
So.
Yes. But good luck. And if all things go tits up, you can always come back here and we'll. We'll try again.
And she gives you. She gives you a big warm hug and she says, do. Do. Look after yourself. I couldn't bear to lose you again.
[01:04:45] Speaker C: And I you. Valyria. You know, mother's been furious with me the whole time.
[01:04:51] Speaker A: Oh, no. She's. She's still alive, is she?
[01:04:56] Speaker C: I'm probably.
[01:04:58] Speaker A: I'm probably older than her now. This is going to be awkward.
[01:05:01] Speaker C: No, no, not for you. She's furious with me.
[01:05:05] Speaker A: Oh. Well, I always was her favorite, so.
[01:05:09] Speaker C: Yes,
[01:05:11] Speaker B: she.
[01:05:12] Speaker C: She did say if it had been me in danger. At least you would have been there to save me.
[01:05:19] Speaker A: What a vile woman she can be sometimes.
[01:05:21] Speaker C: Oh, let's not be hard on her. You remember what she's been through?
[01:05:28] Speaker E: Yes.
[01:05:29] Speaker C: It's all right.
[01:05:33] Speaker A: Hopefully. Fingers crossed, I'll be there to explain it all to her and I'm sure she'll have words to say.
[01:05:40] Speaker C: Oh, she always does.
Very well.
We'll be careful. Don't worry. I've got my esteemed companions to look after me.
[01:05:51] Speaker A: I trust. I trust all of you will.
Will keep her. Keep her in safety and the camp.
She sort of walks with you to the edge of the camp and she says, do watch out for the traps. There are traps around here, but only for our safety.
There may be people who are on guard around the parameters, know that you're leaving, so they. They'll watch out for you if anything was to happen.
But by probably, you know, sort of like by half a mile, you'll be by yourselves and.
Well, good luck in what you're finding and I hope to hear from you soon.
And she'll wave and the other people within the camp will wave all of you, including Avala, off into. Back into the forest.
[01:06:48] Speaker C: Oh, we have a farewell committee.
It's lovely.
[01:06:56] Speaker E: You.
[01:06:57] Speaker A: You're walking for about.
Probably you've been walking for about an hour and of course, sort of like the.
Is there anything that you're sort of looking out for, potentially, that may guide you back to sanctuary?
[01:07:14] Speaker E: The weird nature change, I guess, getting more childlike.
[01:07:22] Speaker B: Brighter, warmer. Yeah, brighter, warmer, lusher, spongier.
[01:07:27] Speaker F: Turning the saturation up.
[01:07:29] Speaker B: It smells like hello Kitty,
[01:07:33] Speaker A: I guess. A question to Murden and Virgil, like, what. What are you two doing to see if you can get any sort of links to this world spirit?
[01:07:43] Speaker F: Looking for God droppings.
[01:07:46] Speaker D: Poor Prince.
I mean, Virgil. I. Yeah, I think Virgil's never really encountered a world spirit before, so he is deferring to Murden's expertise. But he. He and Brother Challenge will be an extra four pair of eyes.
Brother Tans is up in the sky.
[01:08:09] Speaker F: I. Well, I me's Miran's struggling because arguably he's. He's encountered world spirits on three separate occasions. Once with Artosa, twice with this. Whatever he's seen, and I don't think in any of those situations he's done it on purpose.
[01:08:33] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:08:35] Speaker F: So Mirdens, I think he. I think he's just like, he's walking, but then, like, trying to discreetly look out the side, like the corners of his vision, as if to be like if. If the World spirit knows that he's looking for it. It won't appear. So he's just got to.
[01:08:54] Speaker D: It's like Santa.
[01:08:55] Speaker F: Yeah, yeah.
[01:08:57] Speaker B: Never boils.
[01:08:58] Speaker F: Yes. Yeah.
But at the same time, I'm also like. Mirdan's also looking for like little secluded corners. He's looking up at like big trees because he's. He remembers seeing like its face in amongst the foliage the first time around. So, yeah, he's so he. He's looking as hard as he can without making it look like he's looking at all right.
Because he just doesn't really know.
It's like when you try to go to sleep and that keeps you awake.
[01:09:41] Speaker A: Madden, You explode. My maps have stopped working again.
Let me. Let me just try something very quickly.
Murden, can you roll me an instinct roll? And with Virgil sort of helping you and with Brother Talons helping you can roll that with advantage.
[01:10:10] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:10:12] Speaker A: Instinct.
[01:10:12] Speaker C: Friends.
[01:10:13] Speaker D: Friends, Friends, Friends.
[01:10:14] Speaker F: Reaction roll.
May this be in any. Oh, it's reaction. I can't put an experience on.
[01:10:31] Speaker B: Friends.
[01:10:32] Speaker A: Murden.
[01:10:33] Speaker F: The God dar has.
[01:10:39] Speaker A: Murden with a crit.
[01:10:42] Speaker D: You
[01:10:45] Speaker A: suddenly start feeling your rune start to judder again.
It's now juddering more violently than it was originally when you first start feeling it. And that green hue starts sort of like coming out again.
And that echoing in the back of your head comes back again and it's going, help us.
Help us.
As. Just interview the trees part.
As the lot of you are in front of this giant world spirit being tied down with vines.
[01:11:24] Speaker B: Oh, no.
Oh, no, baby.
[01:11:30] Speaker A: As the.
[01:11:32] Speaker E: As.
[01:11:33] Speaker A: As the. As the three of you, as the five of you, the six of you, the seven of you with Brother talons.
Looking up at this mahusive creature struggling to sort of get out from these vines.
As you peer up and notice this, this. Almost like this. This.
This creature, this. This sort of vined creature with many heads just sort of appear from behind it.
And it's obvious that this creature is the one that's sort of keeping it. Keeping this. This massive, massive wild spirit to the ground. And you can just keep on hearing mid and this sort of. Help us. Help us and we'll end it there.
[01:12:30] Speaker C: Exciting.
