And with me tonight are my lovely, lovely players. We'll say I'm going to do them in a different order. I'm going to go. [00:00:31] Speaker B: Hello. [00:00:32] Speaker A: Oh, hello, Julia. [00:00:35] Speaker C: Hi. [00:00:36] Speaker A: Hello, Georgia. [00:00:37] Speaker D: Hello. [00:00:37] Speaker A: Hello, Theo. [00:00:39] Speaker B: Hello. [00:00:40] Speaker D: Hello. DM Dan. We've just finished a stream of Draw Steel and last year we played Dagger Heart and a bunch of other TTRPGs as well. We've played. We obviously have played D and D in the past, but we've played Blaze in the Dark as well. And we are just about about to go into a Call of Cthulhu game, but not as you know it. And later on down the line we'll be playing some different, different TTRPGs that is going to lead into DM Dan's big campaign four, which we do every year. You could also watch us on Twitch as well. They go live every Monday at 7:30. And also if you just want to talk to us, we're in a discord. We've got a discord which is in the description below. It doesn't cost you anything, but if you click on the link below and you don't have to buy Dagger Heart, you can buy all sorts of TTRPGs that they've got on the website as well. We get a little bit of kickback and it helps with the channel, including with a little bit of kickback. There is also a members group that we've got on here. So if you are watching as just a normal average viewer on YouTube and you enjoy this episode 6, episode 7 is available right now, so you can go and watch that. But if not, we've also got a Patreon where you can also watch episode seven that will be out right now. But watch this episode first, see if you like it. I'll sure hope you do. Anyway, that's enough of me blabbing. Let's get on to the intro. [00:03:06] Speaker C: Hello, I'm Julia and I play Lucretia, a Lorevar wizard. [00:03:12] Speaker B: Hi, my name is Theo and I'll be playing Pally, a wolf, Kim Seraph. [00:03:19] Speaker E: Hi. [00:03:19] Speaker D: Hello, I'm Georgia and I'll be playing Vergil, a Sanguvar ranger. [00:03:25] Speaker F: Hi, my name is DM Dan and I'm playing Myrdden, a Wolfkin guardian druid. [00:03:32] Speaker E: Hi, I'm Livy and I'll be playing Bo, the dragon scent warrior. [00:03:38] Speaker A: And my name is Nate and I'll be the GM for this advent. So we left the five of you being asked a lot of questions. You also have a lot of questions on your minds. As you. As you. As you. What's the word I'm looking for? I've just completely. As you. Well, as you call it a night. As you call it a night on this very long and exhausting day that you've just experienced. And I'm sure the lot of you are feeling like more questions rather than answers will come as you reach the morning. Before we head into the rest of the story, obviously you are now calling it a night and we're gonna give you a long rest. So this is our first like official long rest of the session. [00:05:01] Speaker C: Heck yeah. [00:05:02] Speaker A: So I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go round, but I'm also going to do something a little bit different along with that long rest. So I'm gonna start with. I'm gonna start with Theo. So, Theo, what did you do during your long rest? And if there's anything that you're doing in the morning, we can let me know and we can go on to it then. [00:05:30] Speaker B: So I'm gonna repair my armor. So armor is now or all sorted, which is great. So he will start to tinker with that. I feel like because, because I had bare bones, I don't actually need like full scale armor. So it's mostly tending to leathers, making sure that, you know, it's not nicked anywhere, that it's pristine. As he's always been taught to take care of his equipment. I'm also counting my preparation which I've just as the conversation I've had with brain, that's gone. Gone brain. [00:06:11] Speaker A: You had a conversation with Beau? [00:06:13] Speaker B: That's it? Yes, we had a conversation about dads. I'm using that as my prepare as well. So we both get to hope from that. And then I think in the morning. I think in the morning I think he will try to do like a. I think he has a morning routine of praying where he will sit and he will kind of clear his mind and try and connect to an anger which is part of this celestial trance move which gives him another action. And I will use that to kind of lend towards an action with mirrored and later. [00:06:48] Speaker E: Okay. [00:06:48] Speaker B: That's a kind of another prepared. [00:06:50] Speaker A: Okay, so put a pin in that one for now. I'll still. You can still have your celestial chance, but put a pin in that for now. Will you just roll me a straightforward duality dice? [00:07:06] Speaker B: Okay. Just. Just a duality dice. [00:07:09] Speaker A: Just the duality dice. [00:07:11] Speaker B: Okay. Myself how I do that? Because I. Oh God. Does it. Not on any of the. [00:07:22] Speaker F: Just roll one of the normal. [00:07:23] Speaker B: Just roll of the normal ones. [00:07:25] Speaker A: Okay. [00:07:26] Speaker B: Yeah. Cool. Okay, let's just do it. [00:07:34] Speaker A: Nine with hope. [00:07:37] Speaker B: Ten with hope. [00:07:38] Speaker A: Cool. Yeah. Nine with hope. Cool. Hold on to that for a moment. Dan, what did you do during your long rest? [00:07:52] Speaker F: Mirden is going to peculiarly first thing in the morning, Beau's gonna wake up to find Mirdin sort of like cross legged on the bed meditating and restoring the. Like the runestones are floating around like Maiden's head and sort of like over his open palms. And the runestones are kind of emanating this yellow glow that's slowly getting brighter and brighter along with the stone pendant that he wears around his neck that's also got this sort of like yellow spiral that's also glowing the same yellow hue. And that is me and talk for repairing armor. [00:08:44] Speaker A: Cool. Cool. And then. [00:08:49] Speaker F: Yeah, I'm probably gonna prepare. Well, I will prepare. [00:08:54] Speaker A: Prepare with Pally in the morning. [00:08:56] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:08:59] Speaker A: Can you do the same for me please? Can you. [00:09:00] Speaker E: You roll. [00:09:01] Speaker C: Oh no. [00:09:04] Speaker F: Do. Do those repair the armors? Apparently that's not right. I'm just going to roll a D4 plus two. I regain four armors, which is all of my armors. [00:09:21] Speaker A: Love. [00:09:28] Speaker F: Duality is a. [00:09:33] Speaker A: Oh. [00:09:33] Speaker F: Oh boy. Oh boy. [00:09:38] Speaker C: Oh no. [00:09:40] Speaker F: That is a 1 and a 12. 13 with fear. [00:09:44] Speaker A: Okay. Put that. Put a pen in that. Livy, what did you do during your. What did Beau do during his long rest? [00:09:51] Speaker E: So yeah, Beau had the good Old dad talk for his prepare. And I think he will. He's just gonna. He's gonna clean his guns, he's gonna count his cash and just. Probably just write a couple of notes in this little journal that he keeps under his hat of secrets. [00:10:27] Speaker A: Count his sending stones. [00:10:28] Speaker E: That he has counted sending stones. He's got loads of jangles. Just loads of them. Just pages all over the place. And that will be him clearing his stress. [00:10:38] Speaker A: Cool. [00:10:42] Speaker E: Do I need to roll two dice? [00:10:44] Speaker A: Yes, please. Twelfth Fear. Okay. Dear Georgia, what did you do with your long rest? What did Virgil do? [00:11:03] Speaker D: Virgil prepared with Ketubia. Had a lovely little talk. [00:11:12] Speaker C: Little chat. [00:11:13] Speaker D: Little chat. Little chat in the garden. [00:11:17] Speaker E: Absolutely cropped. [00:11:22] Speaker A: And anything else? [00:11:23] Speaker D: I think that's it. Actually, from what I'm looking at, he doesn't have anything else going on, which I feel might be incorrect. [00:11:31] Speaker C: No stress. [00:11:32] Speaker D: No stress. [00:11:33] Speaker C: Wow. [00:11:35] Speaker A: I mean, you can do. You can do two prepares. So you could do a prepare with Julia and then you could just do prepare by yourself [00:11:45] Speaker B: with Brother Hoots. [00:11:47] Speaker C: Brother Talons. [00:11:48] Speaker D: Oh, Brother Talons. [00:11:52] Speaker F: He's only Brother Hoots after a whiskey. [00:11:57] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. [00:11:59] Speaker D: Yeah. So you might prepare twice. [00:12:00] Speaker E: Actually. [00:12:00] Speaker D: That's. [00:12:01] Speaker A: Coat. Coat. [00:12:02] Speaker C: Good idea [00:12:04] Speaker A: with that. Yes. Could you roll me too? Could you roll me a digitality dice, please? Just a straight zero. [00:12:13] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:12:15] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:12:15] Speaker A: You've got an eight with hope. [00:12:17] Speaker E: We're rolling. Hi. Today, [00:12:23] Speaker A: Julia. See one of your long rests was [00:12:26] Speaker C: obviously preparing with Virgil. [00:12:28] Speaker A: Virgil. Yeah, it's your second one. [00:12:30] Speaker C: The second one. I think we're gonna clear stress. And similar to Beau, the way she's gonna do that is with just. She's gonna like, review and supplement the notes she's been making today, trying to make sense of where the heck they've landed. [00:12:48] Speaker A: So. [00:12:48] Speaker C: Yeah, that is what she's gonna do. [00:12:52] Speaker F: Yep. [00:12:52] Speaker C: Would you like. Would you like. [00:12:55] Speaker A: No, no, not you. Yeah, go on. [00:12:57] Speaker C: I thought you were serious for a second. That is a 12 would fear. Okay. Very scary, [00:13:18] Speaker A: Myrden. As you finally let your body fall into slumber. The. The events of the day are. Are whizzing through your mind. You. You're trying to make sense of it as best as you can, which is proving difficult. But not so much that you're trying to prove sense of everything, but you're trying to find out what is. What is the ulterior motive of this world. As you've said before, like this cornucopia of luxuries and magic must come at a price. [00:14:12] Speaker B: You. [00:14:15] Speaker A: As you doze off into sleep, you find yourself then waking up again. Waking up again where you found yourselves at the beginning of this journey in Falstrom. You. You look at the people as they pass by. Your. You blink a couple of times as you're wondering, are you back? Is this. Is. Is this. Was this all a dream? Was this all such a strange dream? You. You kind of notice that no one is. No one is paying you any mind. And you find a small comfort in that. You start walking down a path to where you believe takes you to the outskirts of the town. Until you suddenly start feeling a rumbling beneath your feet as you noticed familiar cracks of burning hot Malta sort of appear around your feet as you're reminded of your time when the eschaton happened. You're trying to shout out to people that know nothing is coming from your voice as people are just continuing going about your day. You're screaming and you're screaming to try and get people to listen to you and to run away to get out of the way. You turn back to see the. The. The visage of what you remember when the Eskimo hit your village, when it hit your home, when it hit your family. As you see a small familiar hand with a small familiar bracelet, the bracelet that you gave your daughter as it disappears down one of these molten cracks. And you find yourself jolted up in a. In a sweat as you realize that was all just a very. A very horrendous nightmare. I think [00:16:47] Speaker F: given the nature of this dream, it's not mid. And that wakes up. [00:17:00] Speaker E: What. [00:17:02] Speaker B: And. [00:17:07] Speaker F: I'm. I'm bunking with Bo, aren't I? [00:17:11] Speaker A: Are you. Are you changing form? [00:17:18] Speaker D: It's just a little guy. [00:17:20] Speaker C: He's a little guy. [00:17:20] Speaker F: Bo's going to hear this horrendous cracking of timber and yeah, like Mirden, well made in it, transforms into a full sized bear. But unlike the last time he transformed before we sort of like left the woods of Falstrom, there is a decidedly red like almost like a blood stained hue to the fur. And the eyes glow red. And Myrden will uncontrollably, effectively trash his side of the room. The bed is torn asunder. There are claw marks through the walls. The door is smashed off its hinges with just ferocious roaring. [00:18:20] Speaker A: Put a pin in that for a moment. [00:18:22] Speaker F: Okay. [00:18:24] Speaker A: Bo, [00:18:27] Speaker F: you. [00:18:29] Speaker A: Do you think you would have fallen asleep before me or after? [00:18:34] Speaker E: I'd imagine probably fell asleep after Murden. [00:18:39] Speaker A: Okay. [00:18:39] Speaker E: I feel like he wants to. Yeah. Count his pennies in peace as you. [00:18:48] Speaker A: You can hear the. The slow and shallow snoring of Merden as you. As you finally put your coins away and allow yourself to. To sort of prop yourself up on your pillows. You. You pull your hat down over your eyes as you're used to, and you start to allowing yourself to fall asleep. Now that you know that Myrden is. Is. Is. Is off to dreamland himself. It's only within a couple of moments you find yourself back on your ranch. The ranch that you share with your father. But you are no longer the grown as much as you are grown dragon scent as you were. You're. You're about what you can only imagine to be sort of 10 years old. And you. And you're watching your father. What's your father's name again? [00:19:52] Speaker E: Grimble. [00:19:53] Speaker A: Grimble. Grimble Flint. [00:19:55] Speaker E: Grimble Flint. [00:19:56] Speaker A: Grimble Flint. You see your father Grimble sort of tussling quite roughly with. What was the type of cattle that you had on your. On your ranch again? [00:20:10] Speaker E: Well, that would be. I can't remember what they're called. Loads of different. I mean they're all very Abe coded. I think it was like deeple hornbacks or something. Some [00:20:26] Speaker A: go with hornbacks. And they look like big earwigs, if I remember. They look like. [00:20:31] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, big like massive earwigs. [00:20:34] Speaker A: Massive earwigs. So it's a usual. It's the usual sort of affair that you remember as a child as you're remembering now with your. With your father sort of trying to. Trying to restrain like a particularly strong sort of like scared hornback as you're. As he's tussling it around. He. You're. You're sitting there on the fence and you're just enjoying sort of like the hot weather sort of warming your skin until you suddenly look up at the sky and you can see a burning. A burning that sort of just like emanates all throughout the sky. Clouds are turning like orange with flame. And as you try to sort of squint as the heat becomes hotter, [00:21:35] Speaker B: you [00:21:35] Speaker A: can then hear your. Your father Grimble just kind of go. He's like, oh, look out, boy. Look out behind you as one of these thornbacks rushes you and starts to pin you down to the ground with a loud ginormous roar. As you wake up back in the bed that you originally remember yourself in sanctuary to suddenly hear this, the same growling and roaring that you heard in your dream. And you twist around to obviously see this massive bear start absolutely demolishing the side of the room. What's your reaction to this? [00:22:21] Speaker E: Sorry maiden. You're getting one in the head. Obviously sleeps with his gun belt on. Nothing else well his pants, pants and gun belt. I think he'll just whiff his. His pistol out and then he aims it as if he thinks it's like a creature. I think he realizes it's murdered but obviously he's gone absolutely bonkers and just fires two shots into the ceiling. Like bang bang. [00:22:52] Speaker A: What does Murden do to the reaction of the gun? The gunshots [00:23:00] Speaker F: probably. Well if you. I mean. Well so by the looks of it. [00:23:06] Speaker A: Pisses himself. [00:23:09] Speaker F: So the, the main. I say the main difference is that the. The fur is almost like it. It's hardened. Well the fur is come matted and clumped into almost blood like spikes. The, the. The spiral rune on the left front leg is blood red rather than the sort like the warm brown yellow of before. If you're going to shoot him. Yeah, I mean 100% I'm just going [00:23:41] Speaker E: to shoot the ceiling. Bang, bang. [00:23:43] Speaker F: I'll shoot the ceiling. [00:23:44] Speaker E: I'm not shooting you. I'm just, just trying to. [00:23:47] Speaker B: It's like a warning shot sort of thing. [00:23:49] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah. [00:23:51] Speaker F: Are in this form. This bear wheels at you like stares at you with one glowing red eye because the. The right eye is still that sort of like light gray stone and midden. Well, this bear releases the most like wall shaking roar. Like the windows at the far end of the room shake under the. Yeah. The blankets start flapping and like Mirden is fully wild at this point. [00:24:37] Speaker E: Okay. So I do shoot him in the head. Fully die. Don't recognize if Bo's like Hey buddy. No, no, no, not right now. [00:24:55] Speaker A: No bear. No bear now. [00:24:57] Speaker E: No bear now. I mean we paid a deposit. Let's not do this right now. [00:25:03] Speaker F: We are, we are not getting that back. I'm Well I functionally like this is almost like werewolf esque territory. [00:25:17] Speaker E: Wow. [00:25:17] Speaker F: But mate. Reaction instinct. See if I recognize. [00:25:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Do a reaction instinct. [00:25:25] Speaker B: Okay. Oh. [00:25:35] Speaker A: What would you say Dan? A 10 probably. It's not great, you know. [00:25:43] Speaker E: Can I escape? Use my experience as a bounty hunter to wrangle this beast. If I jump on its beauty back, can I wrangle him? [00:26:04] Speaker A: Yep, sure. [00:26:06] Speaker E: Can I? Black beauty. This boy. Horse whisperer. My way through. [00:26:14] Speaker C: Bear whisperer. [00:26:15] Speaker E: Bear whisperer. What would you. Let's have a little look. I mean I can use what finesse would you think or agility. [00:26:27] Speaker C: It's an automatic more presence or something because. Or are you literally. You're not there whispering. You are. [00:26:36] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:26:36] Speaker A: Jump. [00:26:36] Speaker D: You're cowboying that boy. [00:26:38] Speaker E: I'm cowboying cowboy. So 25 with fit pretty good. [00:26:46] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean definitely with a 25 with fear. You can. You can try. You can go and restrain. [00:26:56] Speaker D: I think. [00:26:56] Speaker E: Yeah. It's not the first time obviously, that a wild creature has got off in Bow's face. I think in one fluid motion, I will grab some rope. He's gonna drop on his back. He's gonna put the rope between it in his mouth, in. Not in his mouth, in Merden's mouth and just try and just. He's like bucking. Broncoing his way in this room to try and get him to. To calm down while shouting. Guys. [00:27:28] Speaker B: I was gonna say like, how much [00:27:31] Speaker D: you've heard two shots. [00:27:33] Speaker B: Yeah, I've definitely heard how to check if they. If we aren't some. All in nightmares at this point. [00:27:39] Speaker A: I would again, I would say just put pin on it for the time. [00:27:42] Speaker F: For a moment. [00:27:43] Speaker C: We're all freaking out in our respective rooms if that's the case. [00:27:47] Speaker B: If you're. [00:27:47] Speaker A: If you're looking to react, probably you. You would have heard two gunshots. You would have heard a bear trashing a room next door to yours. So let through the wall. [00:27:56] Speaker C: Both. Both fighting for his life. [00:27:59] Speaker A: Yeah, let's. Let's travel. Let's go back in time a little bit. Oh my God. To. To pally. [00:28:12] Speaker B: Okay. [00:28:16] Speaker A: Pali. You know, as a. As a soldier yourself, that sleep is important. So after you're. After you fixing your armor and after that, sort of like the. The. The ideas of your father still fresh in your mind, you find yourself sort of wandering to sleep very quickly. [00:28:38] Speaker B: You. [00:28:41] Speaker A: You find yourself. You find yourself waking up in one of your favorite spots in Avamore. This. The sky is bright. The grass is a normal shade of green. The sky is a normal shade of blue. You can hear again people around you talking, laughing, going about their daily business. You. You don't notice anything different. It's almost like you. You kind of think to yourself, did you. Did I fall asleep? You. You almost get like a small panic. It's just like, oh, no, I was supposed to. I was supposed to go on this mission to Faustrom. I must have. I must have dozed off before I. Before I went deep in your soul. Somewhere deep within side you, you. You feel a tugging. And you felt this before when you pray, when you look up at the stars, that closeness to Renengar that you have, you can tell that he's there, that he's. That he's reaching out for you. And it's almost like the feeling of like a parent or a friend that you. You haven't seen for a long time. But then you receive like. Like you receive a letter from them in the post, and it fills you with warmth and happiness to know that despite them getting on with their lives, that they still think of you and they still reach out to you. And with that, you. You get that sort of celestial feeling that will give you that extra downtime activity. You. You. You sort of feel like this is not quite real. You can kind of censure in a dream, but you're allowing the dream to sort of overtake you and just allowing those lovely feelings to sort of. To heal over you until you suddenly hear the roar of something behind you as it jolts you from your sleep as you try to make sense of what's happening. You then hear a bang. Bang of a gun from next door as you know that something is now happening in Merden and Bo's room. [00:31:26] Speaker B: Okay. [00:31:28] Speaker A: Julia. Hi. You. Do you think you would have fallen asleep before p. Or would you have let Pally sort of drift off the asleep? And you. You're too busy with your notes. [00:31:42] Speaker C: Probably quite busy with the notes. But I imagine Lucretia would eventually fall asleep with, you know, with her book clutched to her. Yes. [00:31:52] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:31:53] Speaker B: You. [00:31:53] Speaker A: You've sort of. You're reading your notes. You're so fixated in your. In your studies and what you found out from the day. But, like, tiredness soon gets the better of you. Exhaustion just gets the better of. Of you. And you find your eyes, like, sliding closed. And you. And you. And you can feel the book feeling heavy in your hands as it sort of slips out of your fingers. And as you. As you sort of nod off to sleep, [00:32:21] Speaker B: you. [00:32:23] Speaker A: You don't feel like you wake up. You feel like you're back in that void. You're back in that meadow that you found yourselves before you entered sanctuary. And you're. And you're sort of looking around. You're trying to. You're trying to find that small portal again, that small little opening, but nothing seems to be there. All you can hear is sort of like a distant. Almost like a distant. Sort of like shouting, a distant shouting that you can't quite make out until you listen more closely. And you can hear your sister. And it almost sounds like she's berating you, which is really odd because your sister never berated you. Your sister always. Can you remind me what your sister's name is again? [00:33:31] Speaker C: Valeria. [00:33:32] Speaker A: Valeria. Valeria. Never, never, never berated you. She was always so enthusiastic and so optimistic about your studies and your learning and. And even when you felt like you were being a failure, she would always prop you up and. And tell you that you were doing great. But you can hear this, this sort of very bitter and like awful sort of shouting through the void, this echoing void, saying, you never found me. Why didn't you find me? Stop wasting time. You're wasting time now. Find me. Help me. The shouting from her becomes louder and it almost morphs into a way that is not sounding like your sister anymore. It becomes echoey, it becomes deeper, it reverbs all the way through you until you're struggling to find, to sort of keep it and you're covering your ears to stop it until it elevates into a raw. And you find yourself jolted up as you look over and see Pally as he also looks at you as then gunshots from the next room come out. [00:34:54] Speaker C: Oh my goodness. [00:34:56] Speaker F: And suddenly gunshots [00:35:01] Speaker A: virgil you a little bit tipsy from the whiskey that you've been able to enjoy in the evening and sort of settling down into your. Into your man nest, snuggly and warm, feeling sort of like a little bit more at home. You've. You've had a moment where you all today has been very exhausting because you've had to spend it with people, you've had to talk a lot with a lot of people, you've had to be around a lot of people. And now that you've finally got a moment to yourself, yourself an old man, Nate, you. You feel like you can now finally just take a breather to feel more yourself. And you let that tipsiness sort of take over you and warm your soul. And as you. As you fall asleep yourself, you. You find yourself waking up back again in grass and in twigs and in bushes. But they are looking again sort of more natural coloured the colors that you naturally recognize as being a garden. Not only that, but it's a garden of the monastery that you grew up in. And the garden is as beautiful as you always remember it to be. You. You can smell all of the flowers and they smell like flowers should smell. You. You can hear the tinkling of the. The water features that you made yourself and that the monastery were very happy with as it made for wonderful mon. Meditation. You. You feel yourself more at home than you felt for a very long time. That sort of feeling washes over you. But you're a lot younger than you used to be. You're. You're a young man now and you feel like despite it never bothering you before, for in your current age, that feeling of much, much more healthier, much more Much more energy, much more stronger you feel vitalize you and it's exciting. And you can think about all of the chores now you can do around this beautiful garden now that you've got so much more youthful energy. You, as you're, as you're tending, as you sort of look at one of your favorite bushes, you hear a voice behind you, a recognizable voice. As it says, it just goes Virgil, Yes, I, you, you haven't looked round. But as you do look round, crowned, you finally find yourself jolted awake by a roar of a bear coming from one of the rooms upstairs with these dreams. Before we get into the situation that we find ourselves in now. [00:38:27] Speaker D: Situation Nate, everything [00:38:31] Speaker A: with these dreams, I am using this as my add up of fear. So obviously when people take a long rest, I can I get like a certain amount of fear again. So because three of you rolled with fear, I'm gonna take free fear. And because two of you rolled with hope, I'm allowing you to have an extra hope. Sophia and Georgie, you can add an extra hope. Fabulous for having having lovely nice feeling dreams. And the rest of you [00:39:02] Speaker B: and then rudely awakened by a bear. [00:39:04] Speaker A: And then you're all rudely awakened by bears and gunshots. So yes, we will, we will smack bang back in the room of, [00:39:15] Speaker B: of [00:39:16] Speaker A: of Bo bull riding this massive bear that Murden is as, as Merden is sort of bucking and trying to get, get bow off. Pally Lucretia, do you find yourself rushing into the room next door? I think so. I'm Virgil. How about yourself? Do you find yourself. [00:39:35] Speaker D: Yeah, he's going to send Brother Talons up there as he hovels, as he get, gets heads as fast as he [00:39:41] Speaker C: can inside, picks up his skirts and. [00:39:50] Speaker A: Yeah, so as Brother Talons is sort of just like banging on the window trying to get in. Pally Lucretia, what do you make of this scene that's just happened right now? [00:40:03] Speaker C: How are you doing there, Bo? Do you need help there, Beau, or you got this? [00:40:11] Speaker E: No, he's gone mad. He's gone absolutely raven. [00:40:15] Speaker C: Oh God. [00:40:16] Speaker F: Bo's bed is hoikd across the room. Slams against the wall. [00:40:21] Speaker C: Oh goodness. Trying to think, oh, it might be time to levitate. It might be time to levitate the bear. [00:40:35] Speaker D: I do have a very big healing spell which I've just reset. If we think that might work or if we're just going to heal the [00:40:42] Speaker C: bear, heal the room or it's the [00:40:46] Speaker D: same to try and heal the sick people when we were back in the [00:40:51] Speaker C: real world, I think it'll Calm him down. It might do. [00:40:54] Speaker D: Otherwise he's like, no backhand the old man. [00:40:57] Speaker E: Halle Callie just hit him. [00:41:00] Speaker B: I have been considering because I have got quite good charm so in my head and I have experience, which is trust. Just hit him with your truck, mirrored him down and spend a hope to do something. [00:41:14] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:41:16] Speaker D: And if you hit him, I can heal him. So. [00:41:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:41:18] Speaker E: Yeah. Yeah, you do. [00:41:20] Speaker B: I'm gonna try. I feel like I try to distract him and try to get him to calm down. [00:41:24] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:41:25] Speaker B: If that fails, we have the backup plan of the spells from YouTube. [00:41:28] Speaker C: Yes. [00:41:29] Speaker B: So. And also I'm. I'm quite strong. I can handle if I get a bit knocked back. [00:41:34] Speaker D: Are you getting hit by our tank? [00:41:36] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. So. So. Yeah, So I think so. So, pally, because he. He sleep. He doesn't sleep in his armor. So he is in like his essentially his pjs, which is basically just like. He's not like. [00:41:55] Speaker C: So cute. [00:41:56] Speaker B: Let's be honest. Keyword. But like, it's very Hercules coded. I'm here for. But you'll. You'll notice as. As a. As a kind of flavor. He's covered in sun and moon tattoos. But she also cover his top. Top scar. Yeah. Top surgery scars as well. And there's like Marx's former wing strong. He was fighting as well, which is the first time. I think Lucretia has seen that a couple of times. But obviously everyone else, he'll come forward. Seeing how foe is struggling. He'll just like Miradin, stop. It's us. And he'll like. [00:42:37] Speaker A: I think he. [00:42:37] Speaker B: He think he's picked up his shield. So he's like. His shield is like to hand, but he's gonna try and use like as much calm and presence as possible. Like, this feels like a situation that Pali should be able to deal with. He is not good in normal circumstances, but he understands how to do things in a crisis because he's like, so he's like, look, Mirrodin, it's us. Please calm down. Everything's fine. We're here. And I'd like to spend presents and add Beau's head is getting whacked across [00:43:13] Speaker D: the ceiling to smash as brother talons burst through the window. [00:43:22] Speaker B: Let's see if this works. [00:43:23] Speaker E: Come on. Big money, big money. [00:43:29] Speaker B: It's a 20 with fear. Oh, hang on, hang on. Can I. Oh, I can roll with. So I can use my fearless and you roll with fear mark two stress and change it to a roll of hope instead, which for a 20 feels pretty good. So I'm gonna do that. [00:43:46] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:43:46] Speaker B: So I'll take two stress. So 20 with hope. [00:43:52] Speaker F: I mean, that seems pretty good, doesn't it? [00:43:58] Speaker A: Are you happy with that? Dan does that. [00:44:01] Speaker F: Well, I think at that point, yeah. Perhaps the initial with fear. Because I. I'm imagining that if you're bucking broncoing mid and bow, there's a point where you get slammed into one of the walls. Are we talking wooden walls in this quaint little. [00:44:24] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. [00:44:25] Speaker F: So there's a moment, Bo, where you emerge into the next room [00:44:31] Speaker A: just as [00:44:31] Speaker F: you kind of get slabbed into it. And then I kind of toss you down. And as I sort of like roar and go to bring Paw up, that's where we say, like, the hope kicks in and Pally kind of rushes in and does his best Chris Pratt. Chris Pratt impression. [00:44:50] Speaker C: It's absolutely what I'm imagining. [00:44:53] Speaker F: The. There's a moment where, like, as Mirden looks eyes with. With Pali and like the. The scout, the seemingly wolfkin esque scowl on his face like, falters for a moment. And the roar that comes out is one of more of sort of like confusion or frustration until the. And then this bear kind of slides backwards into the corner where this shredded bed used to be. And then maiden will slowly, as the gr. As the roars get quieter, transform back, leaving Mirden just like in his, like long johns, on his hands and knees, Wheezing for breath. [00:45:54] Speaker D: I think Virgil will run over at that point and place a reassuring hand on his shoulder. [00:46:02] Speaker E: What about me? [00:46:04] Speaker A: You're in the other room. [00:46:07] Speaker D: Just pop up like, [00:46:12] Speaker A: Virgil, have you ever seen Myrdden turn into this type of bear before? [00:46:16] Speaker D: That is a good question, Dan. [00:46:18] Speaker C: Have. [00:46:19] Speaker D: Have I witnessed this before? [00:46:21] Speaker F: Well, we've seen bear, Baerden. [00:46:24] Speaker D: I've seen Baden, but many times I feel like this is. [00:46:28] Speaker F: Yeah, not, not, not Red Baden. [00:46:33] Speaker D: Murder. Murder, man. [00:46:34] Speaker F: Murdered on. No, this is brand new. Like, this is either something new or something secret or both or both. But Mir. Like as you. In which case, as you're sort of like as you. As you're coming up to me. Did you see putting a hand on my shoulder? Like, Mirin just like reflexively sort of like almost slaps your hand away as he kind of brings his head up and as he looks around at this totaled room, what happened? [00:47:23] Speaker D: I think really you should tell us that, old friend. [00:47:29] Speaker F: And yeah, Myrden will look at you all utterly bewildered. And where is. Is. Is Bo back in the room? [00:47:42] Speaker B: I was gonna say come back in the room. [00:47:46] Speaker E: Through the hole. [00:47:47] Speaker A: Coming back through the hall. [00:47:48] Speaker B: I got you. I got you, man. [00:47:52] Speaker D: Uppies. [00:47:55] Speaker F: Did you do this? Miran says, looking at. [00:48:02] Speaker E: I did nothing. I was fast asleep. And the first thing I saw when I wake up is your big, big face in my face. [00:48:13] Speaker B: I'm afraid to say this was you. [00:48:16] Speaker A: I. [00:48:20] Speaker B: You were red and angry. [00:48:27] Speaker F: Mirdin sort of like, looks to you, as you say. So as you say red specifically. There's. There's like. Like mid. And shoots who look at you. There's a wolf kin. Frustration in his eye, like an anger in his eyes, like a little flare. And then he sort of like, looks away ever so sheepishly. Me. I. I'm. I. I'll be downstairs and, like, head down. Try to. [00:49:08] Speaker A: Before you can head downstairs, you. You gather yourself and you try to get up through. To go through the door. But waiting in the doorway is Kelphin and Rollo, who have also come to see what the commotion is about. [00:49:24] Speaker D: Whatever about. [00:49:26] Speaker A: You notice that Rollo is actually holding, like, a very elaborate, like, warhammer. And Pally, you could probably tell from this and maybe Maiden as well, that this is. No, this is no. Just average warhammer. This is a warhammer that. That, like, Iron soldiers got during the war. And they're both standing there sort of prepared to see what's happening, and they. Roller just looks at the mess, and he's just like, oh, don't let BB See this. It will break her heart. [00:50:05] Speaker E: Oh. [00:50:08] Speaker A: Just kind of says, like, kelphin looks at all of you, and he goes, no, you stay here. You lot go to sleep, and we'll talk about this in the morning. Pretty. [00:50:29] Speaker E: Where my bed's absolutely [00:50:33] Speaker A: Kelphin. Kelphin doesn't even even, like, joke about it. He looks at you and he goes, we'll talk about this in the morning. As he stands aside for. For the others who are not sleeping in this room to. To come out. [00:50:53] Speaker C: No one's sleeping in this room. [00:51:00] Speaker F: I'm sure there's a pillow that survived. [00:51:04] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:51:06] Speaker B: Yeah. Salvaging what there is left in the room to bring into. [00:51:12] Speaker A: There's a half a mattress somewhere. [00:51:13] Speaker D: I'm sure there's room in the madness. [00:51:18] Speaker E: I don't think you can be the big spoon. I don't think I want to sleep in here with that. With. With him. No offense, but I ain't being eaten by a bear in the middle of the night again. [00:51:34] Speaker F: Is. Is Rollo still there, or has he already left? Sorry. [00:51:38] Speaker A: Rollo is still there. [00:51:39] Speaker F: He's standing aside without kind of making eye contact. I'm. I will compensate you for the damages. [00:51:56] Speaker A: Right? You will. [00:52:00] Speaker F: And. Yeah, Mirden's gonna sort of like pick up and pick up what's left of his blanket and just like sit on this wood, like brush some of the splinters away and just sort of like sit on the floor with his back against the wall and just kind of wrapped the. The blanket over his shoulders and just like head hung. [00:52:29] Speaker A: With. That being said, Lucretia and Pally, you. You move back to your room as then you also notice this massive hole that is now you also looking in as Beau sort of waves through. [00:52:50] Speaker F: It's. It's shaped like Bo's backside. Yeah. [00:52:55] Speaker A: Little friend Hatch, as you also try to get an uncomfortable night's sleep again. And Virgil, you. You take yourself back down to. Back down to your man nest. But you asked Brother Talons to sort of keep a vigilant eye for the rest of the rest of the night. In the morning, Pally, you said that you had your. You had your celestial vision. You wanted to do an extra downtime. Do you think that might be a good time to do that with me? [00:53:34] Speaker B: I think it'd be a good time to speak to me. [00:53:39] Speaker A: So, yeah, it's. [00:53:40] Speaker B: It's. [00:53:40] Speaker A: It's the morning now. You've. You've noticed the Pally, you've probably woken up before everyone else. Maybe Murder's been up all night. You don't know who. He's had unrestful. He's had a very unrestful sleep. I'm. I won't penalize you for having a restful sleep because that was. That was a good scene. But yeah, p. You. You can. You feel. You feel that having a chat with Merden, especially considering that you were the one that was able to calm him down, that you feel like it's probably a good. Good time for you to. For you to have your one to one with him. Where would it be, do you think? It would be you. You find yourselves. [00:54:21] Speaker B: Are we allowed downstairs now? [00:54:23] Speaker A: Yeah, you find yourselves wandering down. Down into the. To the main tavern. There's a table that's already been prepped for you. You can hear some. Some jostling of pots and pans in the kitchen. So maybe Finway is already sort of making a start at sort of breakfast. Rollo sees you and he comes over and he goes like, would you want coffee, tea? [00:54:52] Speaker B: Tea would be lovely, thank you. [00:54:55] Speaker A: Go and get you some. Myrden. Are you down there already or are you. Are you coming from downstairs? [00:55:04] Speaker F: I. I imagine I probably am. Is. Is there a fire like a wood chopping axe in the vicinity of the tavern? [00:55:23] Speaker A: I would Say that there's probably actually one in the garden, so. So if you've wanted to wake up Virgil with some ferocious wood chopping, [00:55:33] Speaker E: like, [00:55:34] Speaker F: I've already woken everyone else up once in this. In this long rest, so I'll take the. The ax. And then I guess I'm just awkwardly just on the. Like, almost like the cobblestone streets in front of the tavern, just a bit away from Virgil, but. And I'm just chopping wood because right now it's the only thing I can think to do to. To help, [00:56:02] Speaker B: I think. Before Paddy came down as well, he attempted to kind of organize some of the debris in the other room. Not completely, but just a little bit. Oh, yeah. I thought Bo would come see us. That's fine. If both are sleeping there, maybe not so much. But that's. His plan will be to fix that as soon as possible. Would then Mirroden go to have breakfast after that, or would I have to go find them outside? [00:56:34] Speaker F: I think, well, there'd be sounds of chopping of wood and then there'd be a moment where the door opens and, like, me and comes in with a load of, like, firewood for the fireplace that we were sat in front of the night before. Is Rollo in the room? [00:56:53] Speaker A: Rollo is in the tavern. He's sort of making. He's making sort of teas and coffees, and he's just like, coffee, please. [00:57:07] Speaker B: He. [00:57:08] Speaker F: I did this. He said, holdering. Holding. Holding splintered wood just in my hands. [00:57:19] Speaker A: Rollo. Rollo takes the wood and he's like, it's all right, lad. It's not like this isn't the first. You should have seen. You should have seen Aldous when he got his legs for the first time. He made a right old mess. I'll. You know, I. I'm trying to keep BB away from it as much as possible, but you. You have a. Sit down. I'll grab you some coffee. [00:57:49] Speaker F: Thank you. And then I look across and see Pally sat. Sat at the breakfast table. [00:57:59] Speaker B: Yeah, for sure. [00:58:04] Speaker F: Mirin just, like, stands for a moment, not really knowing whether to say anything, not say anything. Leave, not leave. So he just kind of awkwardly, awkwardly stands for a moment and, like, looking over at you, looking away. And then eventually. Thank you. [00:58:31] Speaker B: You're welcome. Are you feeling better? [00:58:38] Speaker F: As I. As I can be, given the situation, given the circumstances. I'm. I'm not usually around people when this risks happening. [00:59:03] Speaker B: Is it something in the future? Anything we can do to prepare just in case? Not saying that I expect it to happen. Again. But I just want the clarity so I'm of a benefit going forward. [00:59:25] Speaker F: It's. It's not something that happens regularly or it's usually something that I have a. Have a control over. But this blessing, I suppose. And like Mirdden jostles the amulet around his chest. Artyosa is as wild as nature herself. She is fearsome, but she is also terrifying. I was caught unawares this time. And I appreciate that I put you all in danger. I. I'm. I'll try to make sure it doesn't happen again. [01:00:25] Speaker B: Thank you. I'm glad it was as well as that could have gone. No one was badly hurt. Beau was fine if thrown into the next room. But he's fine. We're all okay as long as you are okay. And he means it sincerely. He is trying to one bond with you to check in that you are okay. [01:00:58] Speaker F: May like Mirin acknowledges that you're like you're being sincere and he kind of nods and I had you chalked as a. As a wet eared pup, but you handled yourself quite well. I'm impressed. Thank you. [01:01:23] Speaker B: I am certainly still a wetted perp. Do not expect me to be able to do much of anything most of the time. But I can handle myself when there's pressure. It's something I know I can do. Social situations maybe not so much. [01:01:50] Speaker F: And Midden smiles and is Nate, Is there any of that whiskey from last night still around? Because I know we've nicked the bottle last time. [01:02:09] Speaker A: Unless you ask Rollo behind the bar. No. There's no sort of whiskey just hanging around. [01:02:13] Speaker F: No. Okay. Fair. Well, not realizing that I can't see any. Perhaps I'll need to get Beau some [01:02:25] Speaker B: sort of [01:02:28] Speaker F: gift to let him know there's no hard feelings. [01:02:37] Speaker B: Sounds good. Yeah. [01:02:43] Speaker A: As the two of you sort of finish up your. Your conversation and Rollo brings over some tea and some coffee. Who is the next one to join you at the. At the breakfast table? [01:02:55] Speaker B: Do hope. [01:02:55] Speaker E: Do hope. [01:02:56] Speaker B: Tune hope. Dan. Yay. [01:02:59] Speaker C: Yay. [01:03:04] Speaker D: I think maybe Brother Talons would have notified Virgil that the fair was on the move. [01:03:15] Speaker E: Who hoots bears on the move. [01:03:24] Speaker A: You're coming in. You're coming in from the garden. [01:03:26] Speaker D: I think Virgil will kind of. He'll sidle in as like. I don't think Virgil is very good. He's been on his own for a while. He's not very good at being subtle. So he's attempting an air of like casual disinterest. It's like, oh, what are you two also doing here? [01:03:42] Speaker A: In this bar, [01:03:45] Speaker D: it doesn't work. [01:03:53] Speaker A: So Virgil, as you. As you. As you walk in, ever so cool sort of looks at you and he goes, tea, coffee? [01:04:08] Speaker D: Oh, just a smattering of hot water, please. [01:04:12] Speaker A: Hot water. Yes, of course. Take. Take a. Take a seat. And he goes and knocks and grabs you some hot water. Who's. Who's next gonna join us at the breakfast table? [01:04:26] Speaker E: I will. Come down. He comes down. You can see he's got, like, one, like, black eye. He's got, like, a bit of. A. Bit of a black, bit of a shiner from a. From a bed knob. But it just. He's fine. He just comes down. He just still got his dress, he's got his hat on, everything. Think he just hasn't come down his pants, just come down his pants. Think he just picks up a black coffee, walks towards the table where they're sitting, just kind of looks at Merden, just kind of sits on the end of the table. [01:05:10] Speaker F: Beauregard. Just sort of like goldfishes for. For a moment, like. But the mouth keeps on opening and then closing and. Did you sleep well? [01:05:42] Speaker E: Did I. Did I sleep? Did I? Surprisingly not. I had the weirdest dream. I was like a bear trying to kill me in the middle of the night. [01:05:54] Speaker F: As an aside. Sorry, I've just done a little research, and apparently bears can weigh up to 105 stone. [01:06:00] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:06:09] Speaker D: Ragdoll, [01:06:18] Speaker A: As you. As you kind of have this very awkward conversation. Lucretia, I take it that you're the last to join everyone. [01:06:26] Speaker C: Lucretia is probably trying to pass herself off as being completely fine, but for anyone who knows her well, like Pali, you'd probably be able to tell she's a bit disturbed by what happened last night. You might assume it was about the bear, [01:06:48] Speaker B: but. [01:06:48] Speaker C: Yes. Yeah. So she comes down. Cool. [01:06:53] Speaker A: And as you join the others at the breakfast table, Rollo comes over and he's just like, all right, my dear, would you. Cup of tea? [01:07:03] Speaker E: Tea. [01:07:04] Speaker C: Tea would be wonderful, thank you. [01:07:06] Speaker A: And he goes off and he sort of grabs you some tea. As he places some tea down, you notice that then another familiar figure has come and sat down with you. And Kelphin has sat with the lot of you. He sat next to you, Decretia, and. And has got him also a. A black coffee. And he's. He's lost for words about it. Kind of looks like he was knewing what he was going to say when he came up to you lot. And then he looks at you and looks at Bow and his. And his shiner that he's got and he's just like. Elsewhere's finest. I take it a lot of you. Okay, well, I've been having to think. I was having a think last night about sort of like where like you mentioned Faustrom. Is that correct? Faustrom was like a. Is it still a small town? Is it still there? [01:08:25] Speaker B: Yep. [01:08:29] Speaker A: Ftrom was the town like the closest town to the city that we got deployed to before the rupture. The. Do any of you. I mean, is it still there the. The city of Solimani. And if anyone wants to do Give me a knowledge give me a reaction knowledge roll. [01:09:01] Speaker C: May I have advantage because of my well read feature? [01:09:07] Speaker A: You can indeed. [01:09:07] Speaker D: Can I also have a knowledge an advantage cuz I live in the forest. [01:09:14] Speaker A: Very good. [01:09:15] Speaker D: I live in the forest around the. [01:09:18] Speaker E: I get cuz I'm a clever small boy. [01:09:23] Speaker B: That's quite nice. [01:09:28] Speaker C: How do I advantage. There it is. [01:09:32] Speaker F: Is. [01:09:37] Speaker A: And Lucretia 30. [01:09:40] Speaker D: Nice. [01:09:41] Speaker C: Okay. [01:09:42] Speaker B: Of course we're all collectively like. Of course we do. [01:09:45] Speaker A: It's just like. Yes, obviously everyone knows that you. You ex. Like all of you explicitly know. [01:09:56] Speaker B: Like [01:09:59] Speaker A: Lucretia, you've probably. You've probably also. You. You've probably been to Solemani. [01:10:05] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:10:06] Speaker A: And Bo, you've probably also been there as well. You. You've probably gone on there as part of. When you were recruited into the war. Lucretia, you may have been even there before the war. You may have done some sort of like student exchange, learning different arcane magic while you were there. Soleimani used to be a massively rich city owned, sort of looked after or sort of reigned over by. By the namesake of the city, the Soleimani High House. The ace of our high. You. The lot of you know that there was a massive amount of turmoil that happened during the war regarding Sola Mani. Like there were. There was a lot of political scuffling. It was unknown whether or not despite the High House being majority sort of devoted to Festo, one of the Divine Dragons, there was unknown rumors, speculation that they were in collaboration with Betrayer Dragons, with portrayer. With portrayer groups, with traitor groups who were part of the. The Betrayer Dragons. And while it was probably that none of you probably most majority Bo, who may have been deployed there for some sort of thing, you know that it was one of those cities that just bamfed out of existence. And you. I mean Lucretia, you probably know when Alicia came back into the world, you know that extra sort of extra research had been starting to do whether or not the. These other cities that just completely disappeared. Like the same thing had happened to them. Some extra research started going into those sort of cities, but as of what, you know, during the eschaton, Soleimani just completely disappeared. Disappeared off the. Off the edge of elsewhere. It was a very high populace city, but it was. It was gone. And so as. So what is your reaction with that knowledge after Kelphin has said? Is Solomani still there? [01:12:54] Speaker C: Well, no, no, it. It's one of the places that disappeared when the world shattered. [01:13:07] Speaker A: Kelphin goes okay, that. I guess that makes sense. [01:13:17] Speaker C: You say you were deployed there. How. [01:13:24] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:13:25] Speaker C: How far was this place from Solimani? [01:13:33] Speaker A: I don't know. We believed that this was the. The last remnants of Solimani. This was. This was the. This was all that was left. Like the people, everyone who survived and. And came here to Sanctuary, they were. They were citizens, soldiers who were here. There was. We were. We were fighting. There was a. There was a massive. We came in as. As. As devouts of Aya to help against a portrayer attack. And before we knew it, everything started like the ground started ripping apart and then we. We tried to save each other and then we ended up in the void and then we ended up here. [01:14:36] Speaker C: Oh, I see. So Sanctuary is a completely new place. It is not a pre existing settlement. [01:14:51] Speaker A: No, I mean it was a bit of. It was a bit tough to begin with because it was not only citizens, it was not only us as soldiers, but it was soldiers from betraying camps as well. We all had to learn how to get along and it was hard and I guess it made it easier with the princess because she. She made everything and we don't know how. And it was so weird coming from such a young girl. But she. [01:15:28] Speaker D: She was here before you. [01:15:31] Speaker E: She. [01:15:31] Speaker D: She arrived at. [01:15:32] Speaker A: With she. As far as we're aware. Yeah, she was as far as we know, the. The youngest daughter of the Solemani house and we know they were a powerful family, don't get me wrong. But to create. That's what I've been wondering all this time. And the thing is, is that if you. He kind of leans in a little bit closer to the rest of you and he says if you start theorizing like that, it can get you in trouble around here. [01:16:18] Speaker C: So these betrayer camps you are speaking of, that's where those soldiers ended up who came to Sanctuary with you all? [01:16:28] Speaker A: Oh no, the. The traitor camps. They. There of the people who don't believe that the Princess is all here for our safety. They have Been. They have been outcasted. And that's why it's better to. Because if you're. If. If you're found to be. He sort of leans in a bit closer as well. He says, if you are found to be talking bad about the princess and her gifts and her magic, then you. You might be turned into something else. Let's just say. [01:17:13] Speaker C: I'm sorry. [01:17:17] Speaker A: If we see any of them, I'll point them out. He kind of. He kind of leans in again. He said, well, you met Aldous yesterday, obviously is. His father was one of them. Didn't questioned. When. When Aldous came back with his horse legs. It was. His father didn't like it. His father got mad about it, and the. The court weren't happy with his questions, and they weren't happy that his father wasn't happy with Aldous's gift, considering how much the princess had given to his farm. Turned in. Turned him into a. Some sort of Goliath, this Goliath. Soft top. And then sent him out into the woods. [01:18:12] Speaker E: Yeah, we. We saw him. [01:18:15] Speaker F: Oh, [01:18:18] Speaker A: he's nice. Just don't. Just don't aggravate him. You didn't aggravate him, did you? [01:18:24] Speaker B: We did not. [01:18:25] Speaker E: I didn't pay him no mind. [01:18:29] Speaker A: Yeah, he's. He's been outcasted to learn his lesson. And that's why we have to keep theorizing to a minimum. We just have to. Yes. [01:18:50] Speaker C: Who. Who. Who enforces this? So let's say somebody says, oh, the princess is very good. Is she? Well, not that that's what I think. Of course, she sort of looks around. Who's enforcing it? [01:19:04] Speaker A: Well, the princess herself. [01:19:08] Speaker C: But surely she can't be everywhere. She can't hear everything. [01:19:14] Speaker A: Maybe. We don't know. But her actions have proved that there are ears everywhere. [01:19:28] Speaker E: How old did you say she was? [01:19:31] Speaker A: She has been. And he just kind of goes like, I know this all sounds crazy. I get it. She's a young girl. She must be 10, 11. And she's been 10 and 11 all the time with. Been here for 30 years. I would say there is some weird. There's some weird magic going on that I don't understand. [01:20:03] Speaker B: You said that she was the youngest daughter of the Son of Mar. Is she here with other family members, or is it just her? [01:20:15] Speaker A: It's just her. [01:20:20] Speaker C: Oh, dear. [01:20:21] Speaker A: You've got to feel. You've got to feel sorry for a little girl who doesn't have her family anymore. [01:20:32] Speaker E: Well, she's been a little girl for, like, 30 years. I mean, there's only so much [01:20:42] Speaker D: you [01:20:42] Speaker E: can feel sorry for her, especially when she's turning people into Goliaths. That's all I'm saying. [01:20:48] Speaker A: As you. As you say this and Rollo comes up to you. Roller is sort of plopped, sort of like sausages and eggs down in front of you and toast and bread. As. As you sort of ask this question, there is suddenly this triumphant fanfare coming from outside. As. As Kelphin sort of like looks back and then he just kind of going like, oh, God. Oh, that's happening today. Oh, they see. [01:21:28] Speaker B: Sort of. [01:21:31] Speaker A: It's the Friendship ceremony. And on that we'll take a break.
