[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hello, world. Hello, Internet. Hi. Welcome to Explorers of Elsewhere Live. My name is DM Dan. And tonight on this auspicious night, I am joined by Livy. Hello, my fear. Hello by Nate. Hello by Georgia. Hello by Tim. [00:00:22] Speaker B: Hello, Hello. [00:00:24] Speaker A: And by you. And dearest and most loving viewer, we have returned for the 15th episode of our campaign, the beginning of Act 3, the final act of the third campaign in the Elsewhere series, the Titan Isles. We, in episode 14 did quite a lot. We accomplished a fair amount. It has been. It has been supposed that we accomplished quite a lot, but yeah, we are kind of jumping back into what you had a little week off while we discussed everything that kind of happened in towards the tail end of Act 2. Yeah, there was some big revelations, some big developments and now we are on the home stretch. So before we crack on, if you enjoy this video, if you enjoy the idea of this party of, of brave heroes punching not one but two gods in the shin, then you should give this a. Like, you should give us a little subscribey on YouTube, a little followy on Twitch, and also join us in our Discord. The links is in the description. If you want to see more, just more stuff in general, we have a membership system on YouTube, we have a Patreon for on Patreon and that will give you access to more kind of exclusive member stuff. But even just the free access to the Discord gives you new, new things that you wouldn't see normally. So Nate recently ran a two shot using the new version 1.5 void play test, dagger heart stuff, a two shot called bad Lads and also the first of a number of sort, like behind, not behind the scenes, like supplementary conversations between characters just to help kind of color everything. Yeah, you shouldn't miss. You should. You should treat yourself, you know, treat yourself. Speaking of treating yourself, if you want to learn how to play Dagger Heart or any other pretty much any other TTRPG under the sun, we also have a an affiliate link to drivethru RPG that will flash up on screen periodically. And it doesn't cost you any extra to buy the rules from Drive through rpg, but it does help us out massively because we get a little bit of a kickback, which is always nice as we are saving up for a bombastic finale of descriptions that we get to be looked in for yet anyway. Right, enough rambling for me. You've punched one God in the shin and now you need to sit down and think about what you've done. Who wants to jump into it? Let's do it. Okay. [00:03:32] Speaker C: Hello, I'm Nate and I'll be playing Griffin, a Sanguvar bard. [00:03:39] Speaker D: Hi, I'm Livy and I'm playing Abe, the Guardian Keeper. [00:03:45] Speaker E: Hello, my name is Theo and I'll be playing Cooper, the dragon scent rogue. [00:03:50] Speaker F: Hi, my name is Georgia and I'll be playing Cassandre, an ace of our sorcerer. [00:03:57] Speaker B: Hi, I'm Tim and I'm playing GI Magiani Druid. [00:04:03] Speaker A: And my name is DM Dan, the games master. In this adventure, There are moments when the weight of the world feels unbearable. When every step forward is met with resistance and the path ahead seems to twist into realms of impossibility. Yet to give up is not to abandon just the goal, but all those who look up to you with quiet hope. Sometimes we need to remember why we began the journey at all. Why we take up the burden in the first place. A glance at those who cannot fight for themselves. The people or places whose futures hang by a fragile thread. Their faith becomes a spark against our despair, the steadying hand when doubt would have us fall. The peoples of the Titan Isles have suffered greatly over the past few days. And yet they endure. Gathered in the small town of Dorlishal, which suffered suffers still from the recent devastation inflicted by the machinations of Exo Draven. There are a number of brave souls who speak of recent victories. The fury of the world spirit, Pfizer, the Mother of Frost, has been quelled. Her infection seemingly cleansed in the light of success. Not even Exo's all consuming crusade can eclipse a simple truth. Some things must be fought for, no matter the cost. And so we find the five of you gathered in the streets of Dorlishal. Arguably back on the streets where it all started. There is a certain calm that's descended across the town since you were last here. The last time you were here, being in the immediate aftermath of Exo's attack, which saw the portal to Avore, the capital of the rediscovered world, destroyed. Destroyed in a cataclysmic explosion that leveled a upsettingly large area of the town, leaving behind little more than a smoking crater. In the moments after that, thanks to the Macanate, thanks to the efforts of Guardi, the crater now teems with verdant and abundant life. A product of Gardi's healing field, interacting with the heightened levels of primal mana released by Exo's death burst. It's only been about a day and a half since you last left Dorlash. All. But even in those hours, the townsfolk have been busying themselves recovering with recovering from the. The carnage of Exo's arrival. And so where once there was panic and confusion and dismay, now there is a grim determination, a quiet affirms feeling of solace as they go about rebuilding. And so where abouts in the town of Dorlasharl do we find the five of you? [00:08:56] Speaker F: I mean, who's now in charge? I suppose it's Pirate Queen. [00:09:03] Speaker A: Well, that's. That is a. That is certainly a question that needs some sort of answer. [00:09:11] Speaker F: Are dead or that or disappeared. [00:09:13] Speaker A: Yes. So many. Many. Many have lost. Have lost their lives to recent events. So I suppose I should. I should say that the. The five of you are gathered awaiting to join into what is fundamentally being considered a. A council of the Titan Isles. You know that the. The surviving like leadership of Dolashal, the surviving Sl. Present leadership of Dorlash all. So that. That being the like the. The innkeeper if you will, of the wayward peregrine Matio Bravetti Montague Skew. Skew. The. The harbor master Shayla, the shrine tender of the sailor's sanctum is around. You have seen that the pirate vessel. So the. The large enormous kind of iron ironclad pirate vessel that you now know belongs to Queen Pirate Queen Elizabera that has been cited docked in dockside. [00:10:31] Speaker D: You. [00:10:31] Speaker A: And you know, if Ellas Mirror is here, then the chances are that her second in command, Boson Grinner is in attendance as well. Those not in attendance are Faniel Hastings, who is slain during Exo's attack, and Mayor Coraline, who you last saw being spirited away by the creature you now know to be called the Hammer Drider in the aftermath of your defeat of Pfizer. But you also now know is in fact whatever the. The expeditioneer that originally founded Dolashal Dawlish. The. The adventurer that lost his life during the initial expedition that would go on to found this town create like risen in his name. So Abe, perhaps you. I. I can only assume there's a. There's a bit of a flutter in your chest as adjoining you for this council meeting is also Brynia from the village of Riceville Nar. So the. The people in power, such as they are are present. But Dawlish the. From Dorlishal directly. Yeah. There is a bit of a vacuum right now because Coraline is gone. Daniel Hastings. Captain Hastings is gone. Yeah. You're left with a harbor master and a tavern keeper and a shrine tender. So yeah, with that in mind, the. I say the. The large crater that's evidence of Exos devastation. The Destruction of the portal now lies as a. A concave. Like the crater is now filled with this kind of lush greenery. If it weren't for the. The chunks of rubble emerging from the foliage from the. From the sort like the grass cover from the plants. If it weren't for the relatively steady stream of people still. Still kind of sifting through rubble to look for. Well, they're not survivors anymore. If it weren't for the. The coming and going of Merle the Gravekeeper with his cart to take people up to bury them just above little prairie to the southeast. You wouldn't know perhaps that this crater has such a violent immediate history. But thanks to Guardi's efforts, there is a. There is an undeniable beauty to it all. Yeah. Who do you reckon is in? Is there anyone else that you can think of. That might be in attendance? Anyone you'd hope is there? I think I've got most of them to be fair, [00:14:14] Speaker F: in that room. [00:14:16] Speaker A: The ones we want there [00:14:19] Speaker D: are the Snatches present. [00:14:22] Speaker A: Unfortunately the Snatcher, your. The lone Snatcher has yet to be. Yet to be found. Soon there'll be a one shot for that. Lone Snatcher. [00:14:35] Speaker D: Yes. Is it going to be a 3? [00:14:39] Speaker E: A 3 shot talking smudger. Amazing. I have a question. So when we. Obviously when the attack happens to I think two people from a Avore came in and helped varying people in, did they end up staying or did they go home? Because it would be good to have a representative of Ava more here if possible. But if not, then. That makes sense. [00:15:03] Speaker A: So they went you in. Well, obviously because you met a bit of a sticky, sticky fate in that moment. [00:15:14] Speaker E: Yes, I would. [00:15:15] Speaker A: But you're absolutely right. Two portal guards from the. From Avore's concourse, they arrived through the portal and helped to kind of ferry the remaining like this. The what? What was left of the fleeing civilians. But by all accounts they were present, they were stood next to the portal when Exo. Exo exploded. So yeah, realistically it like D is alone. [00:15:47] Speaker E: Okay, cool. [00:15:48] Speaker A: Beyond the pirates, beyond Riceville. Sure. [00:15:52] Speaker D: Okay. [00:15:56] Speaker A: Okay. Well, yeah, so it sounds like we know who's kind of in attendance. Is there anywhere in particular that you would like it to be hosted at? I mean the sailor Sanctum has a beautiful crater side view. [00:16:10] Speaker D: I think it makes it because obviously the town hall's been exploded. Yeah, I think the bountiful parlay is probably a little not quite the. Or it got two plate. We've got Solar Sanctum. Or we can go to the pub. [00:16:27] Speaker E: I think Sarah Sanctum makes The most sense, because I think looking out upon the devastation is always like a. I say devastation. What, what has been left behind feels like important for the context of the [00:16:39] Speaker F: conversation to remind everyone why we're here. [00:16:41] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:16:42] Speaker A: Okay. In which case, the Sailor sanctum, which not 48 hours ago was being used as a field hospital, has now largely kind of been returned to like normal. Like the, the critically wounded have been sort of like dealt with one way or another. And you've, you've heard some sort of like passing townsfolk that you're like those who are still needing kind of medical. Medical attention, either physical, magical or emotional. They are now kind of being looked like the, the people. The survivors of the attack have fundamentally opened their doors to allow the wounded in. So people's homes are being used as kind of makeshift hospitals to give. To give people areas to rest, [00:17:40] Speaker E: perhaps. [00:17:42] Speaker A: A surprisingly the, the sort of like the nobles of Moundside in the southwest of the town, even they have opened up their, their doors to the wounded. I mean, where they have the room and the. That supplies to help where they can. So you find yourself in a town that through. In the face of like despair have banded together as one. But yeah, in the Sailor's sanctum, there are then the five of you. Ellas, Mira, Bringa, Bossongrina, Matteo and Montague [00:18:36] Speaker D: and. [00:18:37] Speaker A: And Shayla as the, as the sanctum's owner, As you kind of take your seats, be the sort of like the, the driftwood style pews have just kind of been rearranged into a bit of a circle that faces inwards. So you can also like, regard each other as you speak. Who. Is there anyone in particular who kind of catches your eye? Bit of what, other than Shayla? Yes, yes. I mean, Shayla always brings light to the room. I mean, how, how do the five of you collectively feel as you see like arriving still kind of decked out in her. In a vertical comma's battle regalia. But yeah. How do you feel? How do you feel, Cooper, when Pirate Queen Elismira arrives? [00:19:49] Speaker E: I think Cooper doesn't feel anything actually. Nothing at all. Just. This is another person part of the council. [00:20:00] Speaker A: Cold. Okay. I mean, in which case you notice that Matteo and Montague, I think Montague more so this, you know, this kind of tiny sort of like waif of a. Of a man boy. Like he's, he's a very, like, he's very young in this, in the, in the grand scheme of things. And it's. You know what, whilst he does a fantastic job as being harbor master clearly the past few days have taken a toll on him. But he. You watch him sort of like nervously adjust his like wide rim glasses as Ellasmira enters into the shrine and like Matthew just kind of gives her a nod and yeah. Everyone takes their seats. If no one. Does anyone want to start proceedings, are you happy to let Shayla kick things off [00:21:12] Speaker E: and Shayla do it? [00:21:14] Speaker A: Okay. In which case Shayla stands up. Always the. The curious contradiction of the robes, like the vestments of Renangar the Skywarden being worn over a body covered in like traditional like pirate tattoos and body art. That kind of believ's previous life before she became a priestess of the Skywalker. Thank you everyone for coming here. It is good to see some new faces, she says. And she turns to regard Brynia, your daughter Abe, who sits. You've noticed that Brynia, despite kind of having been invited to Dawlish all, she sat a little bit away. She's kind of. She's the most separated from the rest of the group and her large kind of green furred feet like feline beast. Just sort of like it's resting its. Its chin on its paws as it lays on the. The wooden floor. But you could notice that it's. It's on edge. The ears are slightly flat and the tail flicks ever so slightly. And that. That kind of attitude, that feeling seemingly is also emanating off Bringer as well. [00:22:56] Speaker B: She. [00:22:57] Speaker A: It's clear she feels a bit out of her depth. I'm. I'm glad that you could all make it here. Shayla continues. Since the attack on Dor, there have been a number of developments, mostly in thanks to these heroes. She says, gestures to the five of you. I understand that through your efforts you have dealt with the threat posed by Pfizer to the west of the island. Is there. Is there anything of note that you feel we should know before we carry on? She says as she looks to the five of you. And I think of note because you've all separately hounded me. Get out. The rulebook is all of the loot. [00:24:14] Speaker E: Yay. [00:24:15] Speaker F: We're just clutching it as we sit wherever. Nothing else. [00:24:20] Speaker B: I'll tell you what's of note. [00:24:22] Speaker D: My brand new cloak. [00:24:25] Speaker A: The five of you dressed like kings. [00:24:30] Speaker D: We had a very uneventful time. [00:24:34] Speaker A: Hello. [00:24:34] Speaker E: Welcome along. Pfizer was secretly a sugar mummy. Look at all these things that you gave us. [00:24:42] Speaker A: So, yes, loot. So off the back of your trek through Pfizer's lair, you managed to acquire a total of 8d12 worth of loot. So we know that there are loot table. There's a loot table in the. A couple of loot tables in the dagger heart rulebook. And the loot runs from one to 60 and you can choose to roll up to five dice at a time. And obviously the more dice you roll, the hopefully the higher number you'll get. And the higher the number, the rarer the loot. Now in addition, during our Titan talk last week, we had a very, very generous super chat donation and that has allowed us to. I believe we said we can sort of like we roll as. As long as it is a 5D6, 5D12 roll. You fundamentally get a re roll if you want it. So I believe it was the impeccable [00:25:46] Speaker B: fantasy animal vegan who glorious dice. [00:25:52] Speaker A: Thank you, thank you, thank you. So with that in mind, we have, yeah, 8D6 and I'm hoping you're going to use 5D. Sorry, 8D12. I'm hoping you're going to Use 5D12 to proc. Fancy animal vegans roll. So there is a loot table and there is a consumable table. So let's start with the 5D12. What would you collectively like to roll for? Loot, which is like a more per. Like an item is a bit more permanent or consumables which are more have, generally speaking have more oomph, but obviously one and done. [00:26:37] Speaker E: So just thinking about it, it's eight, it's eight loot. There are four of us, there are two tables. Is that right or am I wrong? [00:26:47] Speaker A: Well, so you've got eight D12, but we've, we're. [00:26:50] Speaker E: Oh yeah, okay. [00:26:51] Speaker A: We're sliding five of them. [00:26:52] Speaker E: Okay. [00:26:54] Speaker A: Super draw. Yeah. So you've got. [00:26:56] Speaker E: Sure, sure. [00:26:57] Speaker B: Should we do like a 5D12 loot and a 3D12? [00:27:01] Speaker D: I think so, yeah, I think that makes sense. That's what I was thinking. [00:27:04] Speaker A: Okay, who, okay, here, here's, here's the idea. If I roll. Oh, this would be a terrible idea. Who wants to roll for the 3D12? [00:27:17] Speaker B: I'm just the luckiest of us. [00:27:19] Speaker A: Go on, Go on, mate. Right, so we're rolling 3D12. We're checking the consumables list and then I can drop that loot into whoever's baggie. [00:27:30] Speaker C: Let's go. [00:27:31] Speaker D: Yes. Loot. Yes. 11. [00:27:35] Speaker C: An 11. [00:27:37] Speaker A: 11. [00:27:39] Speaker D: 11 is a good number though. [00:27:41] Speaker C: 11 is a good number. [00:27:44] Speaker A: That's actually, that's actually quite useful, that one. [00:27:48] Speaker F: Is it like an anti fire? [00:27:51] Speaker A: Is it? You wish [00:27:55] Speaker E: man, [00:27:59] Speaker A: you. So as you so Thinking back to your rummage through Fizer's lair. From one of the loot containers you found there, you have acquired a. Why aren't you sharing? Consumable. Don't always hold. [00:28:30] Speaker E: Hold [00:28:34] Speaker A: suspense. A vial of Moon Drip. [00:28:44] Speaker D: Oh, is that what you call it? [00:28:49] Speaker A: When you drink the contents of this vial, you can see in total darkness until your next rest. Oh, so full blown night vision. [00:29:01] Speaker F: Nice. [00:29:04] Speaker B: And it's permanent if you never sleep again. [00:29:13] Speaker A: Okay, so you've got a vial of Moon Drip. That's one thing that you found. I think just to get everyone involved. Five D12. It's five of you. Oh, everyone roll a D12 and then I'll frantically add up the numbers. [00:29:28] Speaker D: Yeah, okay, exciting. [00:29:32] Speaker A: So you got three fire powers combined. [00:29:40] Speaker D: Three. [00:29:41] Speaker B: Guys, these aren't good towers. [00:29:43] Speaker F: These aren't good power powers at all. I think we should disband this group, guys. I don't know. [00:29:51] Speaker A: Got to reroll. We've got to reroll. 9, 17, 19, 27 by my reckoning. So that is. And we'll get to roll if you want. 27 is. Something that helps you see in the dark. You found. Here's the thing. Like here's a figure out, random thing, random tables. You're like, why was this in Pfizer's lair? You have found a. Have I got it? [00:30:33] Speaker E: No, not yet. [00:30:37] Speaker A: Just why you have found a glider. [00:30:49] Speaker D: We'll probably reroll as we've got somebody that can teleport and fly. [00:30:53] Speaker A: While falling, you can mark a stress to deploy this small parachute and glide safely to the ground. [00:31:00] Speaker E: Gonna be so useful last session while [00:31:04] Speaker A: we're on Pfizer's head, why Pfizer had a parachute, I don't know. Would you like to reroll? Yes. Okay, everyone roll D12 again. [00:31:15] Speaker F: I'm just picturing a FISA sized parachute as well. [00:31:17] Speaker A: Just a really big one. [00:31:19] Speaker D: Maybe that was her hobby. [00:31:21] Speaker B: You can run under when you're a kid. [00:31:23] Speaker F: Yeah, I was gonna think like one of those rainbow ones from school. [00:31:26] Speaker A: Okay, those numbers look higher. So 4, 5, 30, 22, 24. Oh my God. If you roll glider, glider, two gliders, this is what you're getting. Okay, so 24. What is the average of 1330? Ish. Everyone roll again. Just roll better. [00:32:02] Speaker E: I wrote a 9. I thought that was pretty good. [00:32:06] Speaker A: That's a good start. It's a good start. More, more of that. [00:32:08] Speaker C: 8, 10. [00:32:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:32:11] Speaker C: 6, 9, 8, 3. [00:32:14] Speaker E: 9, 9, 8, 9, 3. Yeah. [00:32:17] Speaker A: So 10, 13, 21, 30, 36. There we go. We got over half of B. [00:32:29] Speaker D: Is it a Wheelbarrow glider. [00:32:36] Speaker A: You found. I cannot argue for even more rerolls after this one. [00:32:43] Speaker B: We don't need him because we got the best item. [00:32:47] Speaker A: You saw what it made me do, right? You have discovered in Pfizer's lair and I'm [00:32:58] Speaker D: sounds like one of those like campfire games. I discovered in Pfizer. [00:33:07] Speaker A: A portal seed. [00:33:10] Speaker D: Oh, let's go back to Evenmore. [00:33:12] Speaker E: Oh, bye. [00:33:13] Speaker A: You can plant this seed in the ground to grow a portal in that spot. The portal is ready to use in 24 hours. You can use this portal to travel to any other location where you planted a portal seed. We'll put an asterisk on that. A portal can be destroyed by dealing any amount of magic damage to it. AKA portal seeds are exploding. I reckon it was a pouch of portal. I would argue this portal seed, once the portal has grown for all extents and purposes, it can then be used to like be linked to other portals. So given that there is a capital city full of portals, you'll be at like this seed has for all extents and purposes. In 24 hours Dorlishal will be reconnected to Avenue. If that is where you want to reconnect to. [00:34:20] Speaker F: Could you argue kind of law wise that it senses the portal magic that used to be where the portal was that got destroyed so it can link to that? [00:34:31] Speaker A: Yeah, I reckon so. So between the five of you. Yeah, you. I. I suspect perhaps this is in the hands of Gardi. That there is. You are holding this large. I imagine it's almost like large bird eggs. Like this seed is the size of like a large egg and it's. Yeah. You. You notice that it's got. [00:35:07] Speaker D: Would you say it's about the size of a tangerine? [00:35:17] Speaker A: You could say you could see it's a size. [00:35:24] Speaker D: Okay, I just want to clarify. [00:35:29] Speaker A: Just want to travel very large distances using magical portals. So yeah, G. You are holding a portal seed. So I guess if nothing else, you are holding a. You are holding the hope of deliverance in your hands for this town. [00:35:51] Speaker D: No pressure. [00:35:52] Speaker A: The question of how do we get back in touch with Avermore has seemingly been answered by this loot table. [00:36:00] Speaker F: By the loot table, yeah. And also a large amount of money that they need to give us before we show them this evening. [00:36:07] Speaker B: Of course. Are we sure we don't want the glider? [00:36:12] Speaker D: Okay. [00:36:14] Speaker E: Just gliding to a mole. [00:36:16] Speaker A: Salvation or power to shoot? [00:36:21] Speaker C: Salvation or we. [00:36:27] Speaker A: So yeah, Guardi. [00:36:28] Speaker E: What. [00:36:28] Speaker A: I mean what's your. What's your pitch? You got anything to have? You got anything to say for yourself, holding this seed. [00:36:36] Speaker B: I don't know if I have much more to. To add, really. I mean, yeah, it's. It's clear the. The course to be taken. Fingers crossed. Given all of the weird nature magic nonsense in the big crater, might get us sorted out nice and quick. [00:36:55] Speaker A: Okay, okay. In which case, like, as you explain Sigardi, I mean, you would have had time coming back from Fizer's lair to here via Rice Vilna, via sort of like the. The boats. So, you know, you would. The five of you would have been sailed back from Riceville now by the keepers of the village. So yeah, you would have had like enough time to kind of analyze and kind of figure out what this seed is and realizing that it holds like this innate, like you've heard, perhaps you even. Well, I guess the question would be if you have seen it or not. But like, have you heard or experienced like tree porting, like where natural, like magical kind of glades would have spate, like. Well, the plant life would act as kind of natural portals? [00:37:58] Speaker B: Well, some would say that on my level up, I just learned riftwalker. So I've actually just had a crash course in portals. [00:38:09] Speaker A: Spicy. [00:38:11] Speaker B: Potentially. I don't know, maybe. Maybe freeing Pfizer from impalement has given me an extra little surge of magic nonsense. [00:38:26] Speaker A: Sure, sure. Okay. I mean, yeah. In which case you say, you know, you have this fully functioning portal in your hands and it just needs time to grow. And I mean, I would argue that given that the center point of the crater that you are all sat on the side of, given that the center of that crater was once the portal to Ava. I mean, Garda, you know, like looking over this healing field that I guess you almost. Well, I mean, you. You almost accidentally kind of created this large kind of green space, like about 150ish. 150ish feet across. Like it's quite large. No, it's 1500ft across. So yeah, you're like. You can feel the. The present, the still lingering presence of the primal magic, the kind of radiates out from here. And in the time that you've been in Dorlishal, but since, like, since you've arrived back into Charles, I should say you've also seen that there are some people with more sort of like minor or superficial injuries that have been discuss discovered and they're simply sort of like spending time in the crater like they're touching grass. But the natural magics that are the kind of loitering in this area are healing These kind of superficial wounds just naturally or supernaturally? I guess so, yeah. Planting this portal seed in this. In the crater would certainly be like a perfect place to. To plant it. [00:40:31] Speaker B: Cool. Yeah, I'll get it plopped in there as soon as reasonably possible. [00:40:36] Speaker A: Okay. Elismira pipes up and says, so talk us through. Is there anything you've learned since your encounter with Pfizer that we should be appraised on? [00:40:58] Speaker D: Gabe just looks at Cooper. [00:41:01] Speaker B: Yeah, I think everyone's staring at Cooper. [00:41:04] Speaker D: Did all of us turn on the pew? [00:41:07] Speaker F: I think Cass gently like taps him to make him stand. [00:41:13] Speaker B: I imagine Sir Kath's gentle is like [00:41:15] Speaker A: keep the chair forward. [00:41:20] Speaker E: Okay, so Cooper stands up. While he is quite confident, usually in himself, this is. He's quite shy. He is surrounded by quite a few people, takes breath. Look, I don't know everything, but I can tell you what I have come to understand in the last, what, day and a half. I don't know how this has happened, [00:41:57] Speaker A: but [00:42:00] Speaker E: it turns out that Exo and I are connected by the sundered dragon, Kotha. I think perhaps I'm connected to her through my heritage. I don't know. I can't tell you anything about that. But what I can tell you is that Exo also worshiped her at some point. And because of that there's now this link. Which means that he was baiting me one evening and I'm able to kind of see through him. Which means. Now I understand that while we were trying to help Frizer, he went for burn on. And as far as my understanding goes, because it's very hard to tell, but it makes sense. As we were helping Fizer, he went for Burunan. And I saw that God's heart in his hands and like he, like his hands tremble a little. So I don't know how he's managed to do that on his own. It was hard enough fighting Pfizer on our own. Either way, he has been able to kill a Titan on his own and now has that power of a Titan. So it's going to be a mammoth task whatever we do next, but we're going to have to do it. We can't let him do this again. And he gestures out to the grass and the healing and [00:44:01] Speaker A: suffice to say when you utter the words, he has killed a Titan. The the shrine is filled with the sounds of sort of like quite like murmuring and concerned whispers between Mato, Montague, Shayla, the pirates. And I think, Abe, you're probably want to notice that the only person that doesn't look surprised. Is Bringya. And Cooper as you finish? She clears her throat and sort of like leans forward in her. In the pew she sat in. And I can confirm what Cooper has said. We have only recently re begun recommuning with the spirits in an attempt to ascertain why they are thrashing and raging like wild beasts. But I have. I've sent scouts when we noticed that Buru Nun's. The communion with Buru Nun had stopped and they report there is a flame to the northeast that is spreading. And if we do not act soon what we thought was Buru Nun's flame, but now we understand may well be Exos flame will consume the isles and Dorlash. All will not be able to withstand Exo returning for a second time. I fear if we do not stop Exo, we will not have the 24 hours required for that seed to take root. And bring your sort like looks around and Caesar. I can only imagine a sea of faces that don't look overly infused like. And she like sits back in her seat. Ella's mirror is sort of like peering at you Cooper. Like she's like leaning forward. She's got her knees on her elbows on her knees. Like she's resting her chin on her fist. And you say you have this connection with Exo. Are you able to control where or when you're able to see through his eyes? [00:47:22] Speaker E: I haven't tried. Honestly, it's freaked me out quite a bit. But I'd be willing to try. My concern is not only that, but if he can see through mine. And that's scared me more than anything else. [00:47:39] Speaker A: If. [00:47:45] Speaker E: I'm not a magic user, it's. This is very new to me. [00:47:50] Speaker A: Elismira kind of nods it. She. You notice she looks somewhat alarmed when you mention that you're worried that he can see through your eyes. And as she sort of like holds you with this long stare, Dewey Montague pipes up. Do we know what. What. What. What is the. The current situation with Pfizer? What. How you. [00:48:21] Speaker E: You. [00:48:21] Speaker A: You say that she was. She was cleansed. But do you know what. What has come of her since? [00:48:30] Speaker E: Afraid I don't. We had to rush. There was. The ice was coming down on us. We had to leave quickly. I looked to the others. I don't know if we can try to commune with her and maybe. [00:48:55] Speaker A: Bring your turns her head to you. Guardi, Have you been able to commune with Pfizer since? [00:49:15] Speaker B: Have I been able to conceive commune with Pfizer since? [00:49:17] Speaker E: Sense. [00:49:20] Speaker A: Well, I guess the question for Guardi is would you have attempted to let him dry. [00:49:31] Speaker D: Crawling out of the rubble? She's just like talk to her. [00:49:36] Speaker A: Get back in that ground. [00:49:40] Speaker B: Back in the whole garde. [00:49:46] Speaker A: Would. Would you have reached out to Fizer? [00:49:49] Speaker B: Yeah, for sure. [00:49:50] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:49:51] Speaker A: Okay. [00:49:52] Speaker B: And probably as well. [00:49:55] Speaker A: Okay. Perhaps. Perhaps worryingly or certainly worryingly. Reaching out to Burunan. Perhaps a bit of a Hail Mary based off what Cooper's discussed. You feel you already know the fate of Buru Nun at the hands of Exar. [00:50:26] Speaker B: He's just hoping that it's wrong. [00:50:30] Speaker A: The. There is. Yeah. There was no response. So as you were kind of in a vertical commas community, communing with the aisle using your sort like spirit seeker, spirit speaker kind of experiences. Yeah. There was no response from Buru Nun. Perhaps more worryingly, question mark, there was as little response from Pfizer. The Titans have gone quiet. But yeah, as you kind of mull on this like bring you is in the present. Bring you is looking at you imploringly. [00:51:24] Speaker B: Reached out. Nothing from either. I do believe that Runan may have been consumed now perhaps is beyond saving. I can only hope that Faiza is perhaps recuperating beneath the earth. I. I think I would feel it if they were both gone. [00:52:01] Speaker D: But [00:52:03] Speaker E: I don't know. [00:52:09] Speaker A: As like as you mentioned that Montague just sort of like slumps back in his seat slightly and he. He sort of like he's running it like rubbing his eyes with his fingers and I. I just don't. I just don't know what. What. What can we do? How. To fight. I feel. I can't help but feel like to. To fight Exo directly would be tantamount to. To suicide at this point. If he is as powerful as you suggest he is. I. I just don't know what to do. And guardians you kind of watch Montague have this sort like crisis on the other side of the Council circle. You and you, Cass and Griffin. You all feel the hairs on the back of your neck rise like stand up and the three of you very quickly acknowledge, you're very quick to acknowledge where you felt this sensation before. And you turn your attentions like westwards towards the crater and surrounded by a flurry of foliage, leaves, flower petals that are sort of disappearing off into the sea breeze. You see a silhouette of a creature approximately nine foot tall. Skin seemingly made of bark and root and vine. The large wing like leaf that protrudes from the Hamadride's back now draping over one shoulder like a cloak. And as the five of you peer over at the Hammer Drider, who has appeared in the crater of Dorlashal. You notice that in one of its four hands. Is what appears to be a chunk of floating bark upon which lies a bed of flowers, upon which lies the prone form of Coraline. And the Hammer Drider looks up to the five of you and like surrounded by a, a chorus of Dorlishal commoners that have just sort of like panicked because this creature has just emerged in the center of town. But the Hammer Drider looks up at you longingly almost, and then slowly begins to climb up the side of the crater, pulling this floating piece of bark, carrying Coraline along with it. And arriving like as well. You notice that Elismira and, and Grinner, like they stand to attention. They, they look like ready for a battle. Given the last time plant like creatures descended on Dorlishal, it was a bad evening for everyone involved. But the Hammer Drider seemingly pays them no mind and instead focuses its attentions on the five of you. Specifically you, Guardi. [00:56:22] Speaker D: You, [00:56:26] Speaker A: you spoke with Faiza and Bunan. Yes, I, [00:56:40] Speaker B: I, I tried. I spoke to them once. [00:56:47] Speaker A: The Hammer Drider nods and like, even being slightly lower down in the crater, like its height is formidable. And like, as the hammer driver says this, the two of you are interrupted by Montague and Matteo kind of stick seeing Coraline on this floating piece of wood. And as they like panickedly rush over to her and start anyways, there is a point, there is a moment where you look upon her and this looks like a funerary arrangement. And the Hammer Drider sort of like watches Montague and Matteo kind of fussing over Coraline's form. And the five of you notice that there's this look of almost kind of confusion etched across the Hammer Drider's face. It's a confusion of someone who is clutching a memory that they can't quite reach. And then the Hamadride says, this one still lives. We have stabilized her. We have given her a chance. And now I return her. And now we return her to you, so we may begin talks. You who have spoken to the Titans, you have accomplished something that we have been unable to for many, many days. We are the Avatar, the Titans. And yet we can no longer hear them. We would like to try to commune with them together. [00:59:12] Speaker B: I, I can, I can try. I'll just, just turn to the other townsfolk and be like he says, his name's Dawlish. [00:59:30] Speaker A: As you say that Montague is too wrapped up in checking to See if Coraline's alive. But Matio stops. And what did you say? He says as he peers at you. [00:59:47] Speaker B: He's. He's a friend. I think his name's Dolish. [00:59:57] Speaker A: Matthew. Like furrows his brow and. No, I'm. I'm sorry, my friend. You must be confused. Dawlish was our expedition leader. He died when we first arrived here. He sacrificed himself. He perished on the isles to let us escape to here. That. This. This town is named after him. This is not dlish. [01:00:28] Speaker D: What his name. Coraline. Coraline. [01:00:31] Speaker A: Corinne. [01:00:34] Speaker D: Well, that's what Corlene said. She recognized him. [01:00:42] Speaker A: And Matteo, like this portly Wolfgang man, sort of like peers at the Hammer Drider. And the Hammer Drider peers back. And you almost watch this sort like flicker of recognition slowly begin to ignite. And Matteo's like brows soften, his eyes quiver slightly in. Oh, Dawlish, what have you got undone? He says as he looks. The hammer dried her up and down. And the hammer dried her. Turns away and tend to this one. She requires further aid. And with his. With its back left arm kind of hands off this kind of floating bed to Matio and. And Mont. As. So as they. As those three kind of. Well, Matio and Montague excuse themselves, they disappear off and they. You are left in invert commas alone with the Hammer Drider. Ella's Mirror and Boson Grinner have a respectable distance. Um, Brynia is relatively close to hand. Abe. Like she's looking suspiciously at this creature because it's like she's also seen it in the recent past. And the Hammer Drider kind of turns his attention. Turns its attention back to you. Guardi. Will you commune with us? [01:02:46] Speaker C: Of course. [01:02:48] Speaker D: But wait, wait, wait a minute. Before you take him. Take him off. Who's us? [01:02:55] Speaker A: The hammer driver turns to you with a look of confusion on its face. Us is we. We are the Isles. [01:03:07] Speaker D: Wait, what? [01:03:08] Speaker F: Well, that's reassuring. [01:03:10] Speaker D: Is there. Okay, Is there more of you? Are you the only one of you? Or is there another of you? Is there multiples of you, or is you just. We. [01:03:24] Speaker A: We are all. We are both. [01:03:32] Speaker D: Does anyone else know what he's talking about? Is it I'm psychic wanted? Is there more of him? [01:03:37] Speaker E: I think it's the royal way. It's the royal way. He is. [01:03:40] Speaker C: I think he's talking about like him and the plants and the trees and the rocks. [01:03:45] Speaker E: He is the island. [01:03:47] Speaker B: I think he's like one leaf of a tree. [01:03:54] Speaker D: He was just like you youngins. I have no idea. [01:03:59] Speaker E: This feels like the Single pronoun conversation. [01:04:05] Speaker D: No, in my day we didn't have. No, we didn't. We don't have trees. [01:04:15] Speaker F: He's so old. As. [01:04:21] Speaker A: Like as Abes just stood there like mind blowing. The hammer Drider, like returns its attention to. To you, Guardi. And it's odds as. As you watch it almost like shrug off this. It's like leaf like wing off its shoulder. Like you would watch a nobleman shrug off a. Like a cloak. And it offers one of its right hands forward to you. In fact, it offers both of its front hands to you. We are the Isles. We are the conduit. With your prowess and our connection, we can commune with the Isles. With the Titans, [01:05:33] Speaker B: Perhaps. Cass, would you. Would you join us? Your knowledge and your power might come in handy. [01:05:45] Speaker F: Am I allowed? [01:05:50] Speaker A: The hammer Drider turns its head towards you and its back right hand is offered forward. So it's now holding three of its four hands for grasp. [01:06:05] Speaker F: She. I think for the first time since anyone here has really known her, she looks uncertain. And then she steals herself and she accepts the hand. [01:06:24] Speaker A: Which ability would you like to roll for this, Guardi? Oh, a community and I reckon for a hope. I believe Cass has some hope. We can. We can do. We can do it as a. What you do as a tag team if you want. If you've got the hope. Or we can do it as a help. [01:06:45] Speaker F: I have two hope left. [01:06:47] Speaker B: I have to hope. I don't mind spending them for a. For a tag team. Let's tag team this bad boy. [01:06:55] Speaker F: Friend. Friend team. [01:06:56] Speaker B: Friend team, Please. [01:07:02] Speaker A: Yeah, if you like. If you want to do a tag team proper. I'm more than happy for one of you to spend two hope and the other to spend one in this moment. [01:07:12] Speaker F: Sounds good. [01:07:12] Speaker B: In fact, are you all right spending for the. The two for the tag team and then I can add my spirit speaker experience on as well. [01:07:21] Speaker F: Sounds good. [01:07:22] Speaker A: Okay, so zero yourselves off on hope and then, yeah, we'll do a tag team with an experience, I hope. [01:07:38] Speaker B: Time to talk to God, baby. [01:07:41] Speaker A: So, yeah, what. What ability would you like to roll out, Cass as well? Something to have a little thinking about. [01:07:49] Speaker F: Would it be knowledge? [01:07:54] Speaker A: I mean if knowledge. If you're used like if you're thinking about how, like how do I commune with gods. So perhaps if you were. If you're basing this off any sort of like religious like divine like text, that would be a good shout. Your. [01:08:09] Speaker F: The instinct. Maybe. [01:08:13] Speaker A: So if you just wanna. Yeah, Raw dog this. [01:08:17] Speaker F: Just get in there. [01:08:18] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. So absolutely you can do you can insight if you want my. [01:08:24] Speaker B: Hopefully this will add on my experience [01:08:27] Speaker A: because it's gone a bit strange display here. [01:08:31] Speaker B: My UI. Here we go. [01:08:34] Speaker A: Okay, so we've got a 22 with fear for Guardi and crit. The big crit. [01:08:45] Speaker B: And I'd like to stressfully be fearless. [01:08:50] Speaker A: Well, would you. So bear in mind it's a tag team so you can choose which of the two to pick. So would you like the 22 with fear or would you like the crit? [01:08:58] Speaker B: I think we should have the crit. [01:08:59] Speaker F: I think we should have crit. [01:09:01] Speaker A: Should have the crit. Was it a double one? Crit? It was a double. [01:09:07] Speaker D: I was like, oh, I think going [01:09:08] Speaker E: to be a one and a two. And then it was like one one. I was like, [01:09:14] Speaker F: that's c. [01:09:18] Speaker A: Okay. Off the back of the crypt. So as you take like the three of the Hammer Drider's hand that it's offering forward to you, there is this. This rushing feeling that surges through your cause it feels like the world is. Is. It's difficult to tell if the world feels like it's shrinking or expanding at a lightning pace, but you. You feel as if your selves, your selfs. You almost feel like you're rooting and as you peer across here at the Hammer Drider feels like it's a figment of the mind. But it almost looks like the Hammer dry there is itself turning into this great ancient tree. Its roots reaching deep into the the earth of. Of the Titan Isles. And through it your senses ignite. You feel like you can hear, see, smell, taste everything that happens on the aisles. I'll tell you what you sense. And then off the back of a crit, we can both do some sort like questions. You can ask me some questions like clarifying questions after. If also both of you gain a hope, FYI and clear a stress. If you've got stress, You'll. You feel like where in one moment you feel like you're rooted to the ground like these ancient ancient. The ancient boughs of a tree. Suddenly you feel as if you are soaring through the air, looking through the eyes of a. Of a bird soaring through the clouds, seeing the islands down below. But soon it feels like the islands are rushing up to meet you. Almost as if you're plummeting through the sky like a. Like your world is contained within the inside of a falling raindrop. And your attention first turns to the floating mesa in the northeast of the island that you instinctively know that you can feel the presence of. Of Burunan. But I think more accurately, you feel the lack of presence. And in its place you can see what almost looks like this raging wildfire spreading and engulfing the isles. And perhaps this is premonitionary. But you feel as if you're watching the whole island begin to catch [01:12:37] Speaker D: like [01:12:38] Speaker A: dry shrub in the face of like tinder fire. And at the heart of it all, there is a darkness. There is an all hungering darkness. And you feel like in the flames you can see. See the face of this enemy. And it is a face you recognize as Exo. But he is not as you knew him. He is transformed. He is transfigured. He is something both more and less than what he used to be. Your attentions are then flung to the other side of the island. You plunge into the dirt, into the. Into the cold ground. You. You feel yourself almost burrowing through the earth, looking for your answers like a frenetic mole or inquisitive earthworm. And in a place of. Of divine cold and chill, you sense a faint but undeniable primal spark of life. And you know that Pfizer lives. She is regaining strength, but she lives. So in this moment, you're able to see the two type. Well, you're able. You've. You know, that type of. Now that you know the Fizer lives, have you got questions for me Andor for the Titans and. Or for the Hammer Drider. [01:14:57] Speaker F: Boy, do I. [01:15:03] Speaker E: You. [01:15:04] Speaker A: I would also wager that you so guardi in this moment, especially off the back of the crit. So you know, bolstered by Cassandre's help, despite Fiser being in this somewhat weakened state, perhaps understandably, given the fact that she's only recently been cured of this horrendous corrupt like Kvothan corruption, you feel like if you wanted to speak with Fisa, you can. [01:15:41] Speaker D: But she's got a really sexy husky voice. [01:15:46] Speaker A: Hello. [01:15:57] Speaker F: Get out of my pump. [01:16:01] Speaker D: Can you imagine? No. [01:16:06] Speaker A: I feel like I missed an opportunity. Not shy. Get out my lip. As you fought her last week. [01:16:13] Speaker D: Give back that portal shade. [01:16:17] Speaker F: That glider. [01:16:19] Speaker A: That's my glider. [01:16:20] Speaker D: I'm gonna store that at market. [01:16:25] Speaker A: So, in this moment of emotional. Yes, dear. [01:16:33] Speaker F: Please [01:16:35] Speaker A: who. Do either of you have a question for Pfizer or Not even a question, just a statement. [01:16:41] Speaker F: I mean, I. I feel like Cass knows that there are important questions we should probably be asking this Titan. Like, how do you defeat someone? What is he in your heart? Can you help us? I think if there's like a sense of presence around them as they take this wacky journey I think Gali can probably feel Cass kind of like pulling ahead, pulling forward. Just this desperateness of her. And she just asks out into the void. Where are they? [01:17:31] Speaker A: Have you had this discussion with Gardi? I don't think. [01:17:35] Speaker F: I feel like G does know why Cass is desperately on her one woman mission. Plus Gardi. [01:17:48] Speaker B: Where. [01:17:51] Speaker A: So Gardi, in this moment, like you've hear like you, like you feel like your and Cass's minds are almost melded in this moment, as you saw across the aisles. So even though Cass hasn't stated it outright, you feel like you instinctively know like you, you can sense where Cass's motives and like intentions have come from. So you know what she's talking about. But this is a question for Georgia. Where was the last time Cass, where, where was Cass and her family the last time she saw them? [01:18:30] Speaker F: I think she, she never saw them vanish. She doesn't know what happened to them to see them vanish. I think the last time was just before she went off on another fact finding expedition which was very normal for her family. They are a family of very fervent researchers, I think Indiana Jones, but more annoying. So it would have been a very normal situation in sort of the family archives. And she would have just said goodbye to them, expecting to see them in a month or so and then she would have headed off. [01:19:10] Speaker A: Okay, as. In which case, as you ask this, you, your mind suddenly feels like. It feels as it. Your mind feels like a warm cozy home and someone has just thrown open the door to the right to the expanseless raging blizzard outside. Your world simultaneously expands to like a network of everything. And you, and you feel so much smaller in the grand scheme of things. You feel like a small microcosm in this ecosystem of elsewhere. And perhaps in this moment you, you both innately understand that is Pfizer somehow communing with other world spirits. Is there this innate natural link through that binds them all together, the literal mesh work that is holding elsewhere together in the aftermath of the Eschaton. And you hear these void, these like see almost animal like calls and voices kind of rippling through this like ecology. And then. You find, is it two or three family members? [01:21:12] Speaker F: Oh, it's many. [01:21:14] Speaker A: Are they all okay? [01:21:15] Speaker D: Oh, okay. [01:21:20] Speaker A: You find you sense a cluster of familiar souls crowding around the intangible form of a. Of a world spirit, I rather small, delicate and nurturing spirit, one that seeks only to grow and thrive. Almost childlike and curious in a way, enjoying the attentions of the mortals that have discovered it. And then that childlike Sentiment is replaced with this hunger, This all consuming hunger. A hunger that you know is needed to grow and evolve and reform. But you acknowledge that there is something that caused this sudden, violent change in this spirit. And you acknowledge that the darkness that emanates from this hunger is the same hunger that now lies at the heart of Buru Naan's lair. And Cass, you think back to moments before disaster. Sorry, moments after disaster, as. As Exo's form drew itself back together and he stood to full height, as if none of the. None of the explosive devastation that he had wrought had just occurred. He rasped at you, what makes you think these were the first I'll consume? All you know is as a result of the hunger, those familiar souls are gone. They simply vanished. You feel a sense of sorrow emanate from the spark that is Pfizer. [01:24:44] Speaker F: I think at this knowledge, Gardi will feel sort of like the presence that is cast kind of pull back and shrink down. Like she's trying to escape this information. She's trying to pull back. [01:25:09] Speaker A: G. You feel like you can feel Pfizer turn her attention to you. She's hoping you'll ask her something that'll make her feel better. [01:25:26] Speaker B: You'll be. Will you be all right? [01:25:34] Speaker A: You. You. The response you get feels like a soft, a weak nod of the head, but is one that is still. That still contains determination. You feel this drive to recover, to recoup, to regain, emanating from Pfizer. You feel this yearning emanating from her as she feels that the connection to Burunan has been severed. She feels like someone that has lost her kin. You feel that mirrored, presumably from Cass alongside you, Seemingly both to the same. The same person. [01:26:59] Speaker B: Will you help us avenge those we've lost? [01:27:10] Speaker A: This time? The feeling, the sentiment you get from Pfizer is not confident. This is not assuring or assured. There is just this flicker of uncertainty. You feel the. You feel the pain of the corruption that ran deep. You feel the. The depth of the wounds that need to be healed from Pfizer. Cannot be sure she can help you, But you feel this sense of encouragement from. You feel. You both feel this surging feeling that Pfizer knows you are capable. You being mortals with a capital M, are capable of incredible things. And she wishes you well. [01:28:41] Speaker B: Thoughts and prayers. [01:28:46] Speaker F: You got this, [01:28:50] Speaker A: Cass, I will say, as Fizer sort of like shrinks back into a more hibernate, hibernatory state is your. Like, you. You say you. You feel like you're almost trying to, like, pull away, potentially like trying to turn your. Turn your head away from the truth, like what's happened, what. What you've been shown. And suddenly again, you feel like you can see the aisles in their entirety, but not as a geographical site, almost as just like this tapestry that lays out in front of you. And perhaps because of your. Your sort of like recent powers post eschaton, you notice that this lattice of net, this latticed network that kind of runs through the aisles, seemingly a connection of all the things natural and primal, there is a hole in them, in this network, a space of the aisles that seemingly it cannot penetrate, it has not dug its roots in. And you realize that that hole is mountain shaped on the South Eastern Isles. [01:30:23] Speaker F: Oh yeah, the mountain. [01:30:26] Speaker A: Oh yeah. And in this moment you acknowledge, because you realize your fault, your fraud purpose is seeing through the eyes of a world spirit. And whatever lies in that mountain is not of this place, but what it is. You are unsure. And with those questions kind of asked, say Pfizer retreats back into what is effectively a cocoon as she begins to regrow. And the two of you feel yourself sinking back into your own feet at the side of the crater. And the Hammer Drider releases your hands and slumps slightly. And as it picks itself up, the Hammer Drider turns to you, Cass. And we are. Oh, sorry, What's. What's Griffin doing? [01:31:55] Speaker C: You mean what's Griffin doing [01:31:59] Speaker D: the side of the crater? [01:32:07] Speaker A: Griffin, you've just watched like Guardian Cass have almost gone in, has been in this like, trance like state and perhaps. Well, actually when I say what's Griffin doing? I. I get unbeknownst to Guardian Cass and the hammer dryer. Approximately an hour has passed. Oh. So yeah, let's put some context in what's going on. [01:32:37] Speaker F: You're getting us for lunch. [01:32:39] Speaker C: I kind of feel like probably Griffin Cooper and Abe have been standing there for about 10 minutes and it's starting to just sort of get like a little bit uncomfortable. Just them waiting around, just kind of going like we do we know how [01:32:54] Speaker A: long this is going to take. [01:32:55] Speaker D: It's not like the buffer of. The buffer of Cass and Gardi between us. So we're just very awkward lads. Very awkward. It's like when the dads have to wait outside when they. When. When shopping, Pub. [01:33:21] Speaker C: I mean, can we. I mean, should we go? Nothing we can do to help. [01:33:26] Speaker A: Is there, like if. [01:33:28] Speaker D: No, I don't think we're part of the we. We're just us. Are we? [01:33:33] Speaker F: Startup sounds IN THE BACKGROUND [01:33:36] Speaker A: Shayla would have 100 step forward after the. After that 10 minutes. Because I'm sure she would have been like, oh, it's been a while now. And she's assured you that if the three of you want to disappear off somewhere else, she can keep an eye on them. She's not going anywhere. [01:33:52] Speaker D: We don't care. [01:33:53] Speaker F: It's just, you know, it's a bit nippy out here. [01:33:58] Speaker D: We had that much downtime for a long time. So, you know, we don't just go around the shops, see, take these lads to my art, go around. [01:34:09] Speaker A: Is there. Where would the three of you like to go in the. In the power also? [01:34:14] Speaker C: Pub. [01:34:16] Speaker D: Pub. Or. Or do you want to come to Abe's hut? [01:34:19] Speaker C: Let's go to Abe's house. [01:34:23] Speaker A: Okay. Okay, I bet. [01:34:26] Speaker B: Stay. [01:34:28] Speaker D: We clean up, guys. [01:34:30] Speaker A: But in which case. Yeah, How. How would you describe the journey from Dorlishal to Abe's hut? [01:34:55] Speaker D: I mean, quiet. I mean, I can't imagine that we're. We're chatting much. The case just been like. I just want to go check. See my house is all right. You can come if you like. I don't really care. [01:35:06] Speaker A: So we know that. We know that your hut is on the mound. And Dorlash all is on one of the lowest, most outer edges of the mound. [01:35:15] Speaker E: It. [01:35:15] Speaker A: How high? Because we know that you've got a little. A little rowboat. But how high up on the mound is your hut? Like, is it quite above sea level or are you on the water's edge? [01:35:28] Speaker D: I think it's like how I envision it is. Yeah. So it's certainly up on the mound, but kind of cliff face. How I imagine it is. It's just kind of like where you would naturally want to put a lighthouse. But there's no lighthouse. It's just a cut. [01:35:49] Speaker A: And your fishing line has just got a really long reel. So you can fish off the cliff edge. [01:35:58] Speaker D: Maybe some of your stone steps bring. [01:36:01] Speaker A: You can. Will come along if you invite her. [01:36:05] Speaker D: I'm not sure if Abe's ready to have around his house. She hasn't cleaned up or anything. [01:36:09] Speaker A: But Griffin, would you like to invite Bringa. Yeah, if you want to come with. [01:36:14] Speaker C: Come and see how your old man lives. This is like the first time we've been. So it's all exciting for everyone. [01:36:26] Speaker B: Worst sweet boy. [01:36:30] Speaker A: Okay. In which case bring your sort of like her eyes, like open wide and I. I'd love to. She says like quite. Quite earnestly. And yeah, I can only imagine like Abe's. Abe's eyes getting more and more sunken into his head. Okay. In which case. Yeah. Describe to me Abe's hut. [01:37:02] Speaker D: Lavishly flat. No, it's incredibly sort of utilitarian. Not I think as you go up and down through. So I kind of imagine it's like kind of winding up and then he's got like his little like allotment style garden. So he grows a lot of bits and pieces obviously towards the back there's quite a lot of some kind of like tobacco growing in his own little private sort of garden that he's got. And then I think as you go into that he can tell that he doesn't have visitors as there's only one of everything. So there is one chair. One. Well, he's got his mug and yeah, it's just very, very utilitarian. Not a lot of stuff anywhere apart from. I think if you can see on the. On one window they look there is what would have been fresh flowers a few days ago that he. And I think the first thing that he would do as he's coming through his garden is pick some new fresh flowers and put them in his vase, take it out and then put some new ones on and then kind of just look around at the guys and his daughter and be like it ain't much but it is [01:38:51] Speaker A: bringya. You notice like she stops at the, I guess at the edge of your patch if you will. And like she kind of like you see, just looking backwards and forwards, taking it all in. And then you see her almost have like take a deep breath and then she steps over the threshold into like your space. And Cooper, as you say, but it's yours. She looks up to you, Abe, and smiles. A fine and fitting kingdom, she says. Like with a genuine spot. [01:39:33] Speaker D: Yeah, well you could see out over, over there, over into. Into the sea from here. I have my cup of coffee, I sit here and I look down. [01:39:45] Speaker A: Don't you have goats? [01:39:47] Speaker D: Oh yeah. [01:39:48] Speaker A: Or are they just goats on the mound? [01:39:50] Speaker D: Oh, there's goats on the mountain about. I think there's just general goats on the mounds that Abe looks after and probably all of his. [01:39:59] Speaker C: Abe named the goats the very specific goats. [01:40:03] Speaker A: Tell you what, based on Abe's current offerings for all the other critters on the aisles, this is going to be interesting. [01:40:12] Speaker D: Oh there, [01:40:25] Speaker A: There's thing is. Yeah, all look the same, don't they? They just. [01:40:30] Speaker D: Abe has the same horns as them, doesn't he? I mean but anyway, is it angry [01:40:36] Speaker A: like Shouty Abe, Fuzzy Abe? [01:40:41] Speaker D: No, they're all. I don't know what, I don't think to call Them anything like not names, but they'll be called like. [01:41:03] Speaker C: We just like hear you. [01:41:04] Speaker E: Hear you. You get here. [01:41:11] Speaker A: Amazing. I'm almost imagining that these are the sort of mountain goats that are standing on near 90 degree incline. [01:41:17] Speaker D: Oh yeah. They're like the cheddar goats. They're just there defying gravity at all times. [01:41:25] Speaker A: Amazing. Amazing. [01:41:29] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:41:30] Speaker A: I mean, what is the. Is there one defining like what. What part of the hut is Abe most proud of? Or alternatively, what part of the hut that would catch. Bring your eye first? [01:41:47] Speaker D: I think. I don't know how I bring. You would have still remembered her mother. And I think the thing that catches her eyes, you can see that there is clearly some. The little phone furnishings that he has have been kept from their previous home. So there are still maybe like a blanket that would have been made by her on his bed and maybe some. Some art that would have come from the like some like embroidery or something that would have come to the village that she would have made. So there's still bits of her around that Brynia probably hasn't seen since her childhood that he would have taken with him. [01:42:43] Speaker A: In which case, yeah, bring your. Like takes a delicate seat in the hut and just sort of like takes it all in in. And Griffin and Cooper, as you like. I can only imagine Abe kind of ducks into like put on a. Put the kettle on. [01:43:03] Speaker D: Yeah, a massive kettle. [01:43:06] Speaker A: And that leaves the two of you stood on this kind of cliff side look overlooking the. The Bay of the Titan Isles. And like, you can see. See the aisles stretching from sort of like the eastern horizon almost all the way around to the west, like. Sorry, the western horizon all the way around to the eastern horizon. And on the eastern horizon you can see this mountain rising up from that southeastern aisle. Are there any thoughts that the two of you have in this moment? [01:43:51] Speaker E: I think Cooper's worried about Cass. I think he's had to step away to kind of like. I think he would have just stood there and waited. Otherwise, in a way it's quite nice to be taken away because all he would have done is worried standing there. But I think he looks at the mountain and then obviously it makes him think back again to Kafkan and sorrow and. And all that stuff. This, like, it doesn't at the moment, it doesn't feel relevant. It doesn't feel relevant to what's happening. His concern is excellent. So his concern is what's going on, but he's also curious as to what it is that is apparently in the mountains that is so desperately wanted Is it powerful enough to help them fight a Titan? Is it that sort of element? Is it? Or is it something completely separate, like, he doesn't know? I think he's kicking himself. He doesn't know, and he hates not knowing and it's making him frustrated. I think he. I think Griffin can just probably see all different emotions just flicking through his face as he's trying to process the last couple of days. So much has happened. [01:45:22] Speaker C: I think with that, Griffin is going to put his hand on Cooper's shoulder. I think Griffin's gonna find it difficult to kind of think what you may be concentrating on more than. Except for just one thing. He's say, [01:45:41] Speaker E: should we. [01:45:41] Speaker C: All right. Like, she's tough. Like, we've seen her. She can sort herself out. Like, we'll be there when she needs us. You'll be there when she needs you. [01:45:55] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:45:56] Speaker C: And she knows that. [01:46:00] Speaker A: Is there. Is there a particular moment in the recent past that's like playing. That's playing on your mind, that's repeating through your mind, Cooper, of an interaction between you and Cass. [01:46:15] Speaker E: Yeah. I think not long after, and they were heading back, [01:46:26] Speaker A: short rest or something, [01:46:28] Speaker E: they had [01:46:31] Speaker A: got to talk about what [01:46:34] Speaker E: going on with Exo, how all that [01:46:38] Speaker A: was going on, how that was making them feel. Just before you going on any further, I think your mic's going a bit weird. [01:47:00] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:47:01] Speaker D: So to tell if it was me or it was just like, I could [01:47:04] Speaker C: see Dan sort of going, like, [01:47:08] Speaker F: stuck in a bucket. [01:47:10] Speaker E: Oh, no. [01:47:11] Speaker A: Oh, no, that's better. [01:47:13] Speaker E: I put it really close to me. Maybe that's fine. [01:47:17] Speaker A: So. Yes. In the immediate aftermath of Pfizer is what I guess. [01:47:21] Speaker F: I think when. When Cooper awoke from his vision, Cass was definitely holding him. [01:47:29] Speaker E: Yeah. Yeah. But I think there was just like a flicker of that. Like, he thinks about that and how she was there for him and he just wants to be there for her. And he feels that. Like, he said he would, like, turn. I think about that and he'll turn to look at Griffin and be like, I just left her. I just left. I just couldn't handle what was going on. And instead of being brave about it, I left. And it's taken all of this for me to face up to that fact, and I just don't want her to ever think that I will do that again, especially if it was that flipping sunder dragon that convinced me to leave, because I'm not doing it again. I'm not doing it again. [01:48:33] Speaker A: Did you say this out loud to Cass, or is this just a thought that runs through your mind. [01:48:41] Speaker E: This is what I'm saying to Griffin right now. So I'm thinking about the fact that Cass was holding me when we come back, and then what he's saying to Griffin is this. So. [01:48:58] Speaker C: I'm sure in the past, you had your reasons for why you had to leave. Like, if you felt that they were needed or selfish, it doesn't really matter now. Like, you're realizing that you have a second chance. And some people don't get that sometimes. [01:49:20] Speaker A: Like, [01:49:24] Speaker E: if you know that you. [01:49:27] Speaker C: You want to stand with her now and, like, that's a. That's a gift not a lot of people get. [01:49:38] Speaker E: Yeah. Yeah, I know. Thanks for Griffin. [01:49:47] Speaker A: Was there anything said between Cass and Cooper as you awoke being held? [01:49:57] Speaker E: Georgia, do you have anything to add? [01:50:01] Speaker F: I think there was, like, a. A moment between them of Cooper being able to see the. The worry and. And the terror in Cassie's eyes before it became that kind of. She saw that he was, I imagine, like, unharmed, apart from being flung around by a Titan, obviously. And then it became that sort of customary annoyance with the relief. And then she switched to trying to dig with her hands to get to the titan to talk to the Titan. [01:50:34] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:50:36] Speaker A: Okay. In which case, yeah, Cooper is. That kind of memory, I guess, plays on loop through your mind as you kind of talk Griffin through what's going on in your head in relation to it. And you know, a company with that frame frustration of not knowing what to do next, like where. Where to turn next. As the two of you look over the sea, you hear a small trilling sound coming from your pocket. [01:51:28] Speaker E: Ah, it's time I reach. And it's. I imagine it is the sending stone. [01:51:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:51:40] Speaker E: I activate it. [01:51:44] Speaker C: Speak a thing. [01:51:46] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, it's on speaker. It's always on speaker. [01:51:49] Speaker D: Who dis? [01:51:52] Speaker E: But I'll probably just say to Griffin, like, [01:51:57] Speaker A: as you respond, as you answer this sending stone, there is. There is a pensive silence for a few moments, and then you hear. Hello, Cooper. Thank you for your prompt response. [01:52:24] Speaker E: Said I would. [01:52:29] Speaker A: Circumstances have required some expediated action. Are you available for a job? [01:52:42] Speaker E: Gonna have to tell me where. What that job is, buddy, because I've got a lot going on right now. [01:52:54] Speaker A: We can meet to discuss particulars, but in a nutshell, I have reason to get into the mountain on the southeastern isle. And as kick friend's voice says that out loud. Let's go for a quick break. So we are going to disappear for 10 minutes. So we'll be back at 25. 2, and we will. Yeah, pick up and go from there. [01:53:33] Speaker E: Oh, all the. [01:53:35] Speaker A: All the heartbreak, all the feels right. Anyway, so thank you for watching. If you've been watching us so far, hit the like button if you haven't already. Hit the subscribe button if you haven't already, hit the follow button if you haven't already, join our discord if you haven't already, consider becoming a member or a patreon if you haven't already. And we will see you in 10 minutes. [01:53:56] Speaker E: Bye bye. [01:53:57] Speaker A: Bye. The hello and welcome back to Explorers of Elsewhere live, the Titan Isles third campaign in the Explorers of Elsewhere series. Hi, my name is DM Dan and I am thankfully, praise be to the powers that be, rejoined by Livy, Theo, Tim, Georgia and Nate. Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello. And hopefully rejoined by you, our beautiful audience. Yes, thank you for joining in. If you're joining in, thank you to wishlight for your kind words about the Bad Lads two shot. The characters were hilarious. They were. They were choicey characters. [01:54:42] Speaker D: All of them were a choice. [01:54:44] Speaker A: They were definitely a choice. But no, very enjoy that very much. And I'm going to use this as peer pressure to get Nate to do more stuff in the future. Anyway, diving back into Titan Isles, we rejoin our five adventurers. A short while after a sending stone call was answered by Cooper on a cliff of the mound overlooking the Titan Isles sea. We now find ourselves, I think realistically, it has to be in the bountiful parlay again. And Cooper, you find yourself sat in the same seat of the same booth that you were in not a few days ago. Sat opposite the same kind of enigmatic Sangrevar man, still wearing a like a hood, a gray hood with thick like eye bandages covering his eyes, like a thick blindfold, I should say a dark teal tunic. And propped up next to him, a long white handled purple fabric umbrella that doubles up as a tapstorm. However, unlike last time, well, perhaps, perhaps unlike last time, would you have invited the other four to sit with you? Slash with the other of the other four of you. How many of you are joining in on this conversation? [01:56:47] Speaker E: Yeah, I feel like I would have told everybody. I don't know whether Cass and GI are available. If they are available, they join. But like the whole thing with, with Cooper was I don't keep secrets anymore. Okay, so like, Abe is definitely there because he has told Abe. So it's actually up to Abe if he wants to come. But Abe knows about it. Like that was the whole point before. It was like, thank you, thank you. But think so. Yeah. So I think it makes sense that everyone knows. [01:57:21] Speaker A: In which case, like, are all of you in attendance then, like, are you all crowding around the other side of this table from this. This man called Kick Fran? [01:57:32] Speaker C: I would like to make a suggestion. [01:57:34] Speaker A: Yes? [01:57:35] Speaker C: I feel like Griffin would actually be very cautious of Kick Fran now, considering that he knows his connection to sorrow. [01:57:43] Speaker A: Okay. [01:57:46] Speaker C: I would like to suggest that Griffin casts telepathy on Cooper so we can have a mental connection together. [01:57:57] Speaker A: Okay. [01:57:58] Speaker C: So I have to spend a. [01:57:59] Speaker E: Hope to do that. [01:58:01] Speaker A: Spend your hope. So Cooper, Cascardi and Abe sat opposite. Kick friend. Then kind of Griffin hiding out somewhere else. [01:58:13] Speaker D: I think AP would want to be sick on that table. Not on that table. Maybe on that table. [01:58:20] Speaker B: Cast and Guardi might need a bit of cooldown time. To be honest. [01:58:24] Speaker E: That's why I was like. I don't know if it's like. [01:58:27] Speaker A: Sure. [01:58:30] Speaker D: Just the. [01:58:30] Speaker F: They're sitting at the next table over. [01:58:32] Speaker D: Boys. [01:58:33] Speaker F: With a brandy fair. [01:58:38] Speaker C: Griffin sat with you, but he's just eyeballing and Cooper. [01:58:45] Speaker E: Okay, okay, back up. [01:58:50] Speaker D: Just sit there. [01:58:53] Speaker A: Who are you? What do you want with my boy? [01:58:57] Speaker D: Putting ideas in his head. [01:59:02] Speaker A: Thank you once again for your prompt arrival, Cooper. I always appreciate urgency when it comes to matters of delicate importance. As I mentioned through the sending stone, I have need of your capabilities to investigate and enter into the mountain on the south eastern isle of the Isles. The southeastern island of the isles. I have reason to believe that this is not suitable music. I have reason to believe that there will be a number of challenges. Challenges that would require skills that you own in order to bypass or overcome. And from my research, I understand that you are more than a suitable candidate to accomplish what. What we have in mind. [02:00:28] Speaker E: So what is it I'm looking for? [02:00:34] Speaker A: We believe that hidden within the mountain is a. And Kick Fran sort of like thinks about it for a moment, like he's trying to formulate. Like. Think of the. The crack. Exact word to use. We believe there is a vault of sorts within the mountain. We understand that the keepers, the native keepers of the village of Riceville Nar, have been outfitting themselves with a strange marble like material. We believe that this marble is mined directly from the walls of that vault. If our expectations are correct, there will be artifacts within this vault that my patron would be very eager to gain ownership of. But we understand that the danger of entering such a vault would be formidable. Hence why having a. An agent of your skill and caliber would exponentially increase the chances of success. I have calculated the odds, and I believe that with your cooperation, we are Very likely to succeed. If your companions and Kickfren turn like seemingly turns his head in your vague direction. Abe, it's kind of unnerving that like he almost knows where you are. Almost like perhaps it's your. Your heavy breathing [02:02:39] Speaker D: grumbling. [02:02:42] Speaker A: If we were to also be accompanied by your companions, I suspect that the rate of success. The chance of success increases ever more. So I would only request that your companions are discreet about our business. [02:03:03] Speaker E: So I have a couple of questions. Of course. If you have any questions, please stay them. [02:03:14] Speaker D: Well, you go first and I might sassy. Or you ask and then I might have my own questions. [02:03:20] Speaker E: When you say we, I assume that you're accompanying me and our companions. Is it just you or is there someone else? [02:03:32] Speaker A: You are correct that I will be looking to accompany you into the mountains. Consider it a sent. A duty of professional oversight. It will be my first. Myself. My patron is not present. I merely report back to them. I will seek. Yes, I will seek to accompany you on this excursion. Incursion. Excursion. Excursion. [02:04:10] Speaker E: Okay. And what is it we're looking for? I know you're saying artifacts, which is all well and good, I understand, but it would be good to know what it is we're looking for. [02:04:36] Speaker A: I'm gonna need you to make me a roll. [02:04:39] Speaker E: Okay? Yeah, sure. [02:04:41] Speaker A: If Abe wants to pop a hope to flex the guns to help. Sure. [02:04:50] Speaker E: I was trying to figure out. Do I. I don't know if I haven't got any hope. That's annoying. No, we would have. We. [02:04:56] Speaker A: No, Abe's got a hope. If Abe wants to help, I have got hope. [02:05:00] Speaker D: I would more than happy to. [02:05:02] Speaker A: Okay. [02:05:03] Speaker D: Aid. [02:05:04] Speaker A: So yeah, live. If you. You drop your hope and Cooper, that will give you advantage. [02:05:12] Speaker E: Okay. So I assume this is a present. [02:05:15] Speaker A: Check if you're. If you're. Pardon me? If you're sort of like convincing, like asking nicely. Yeah, definitely a presence. [02:05:24] Speaker E: I mean, I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna use my strength. Yeah, but I don't. I have plus one strength. Five plus one instinct. So it doesn't really matter. [02:05:34] Speaker A: Oh, no. Presence. Sorry. [02:05:35] Speaker E: Presence. So. Okay. And it'll be one advantage. [02:05:42] Speaker A: Just annoying. [02:05:42] Speaker E: I don't have any hope. It's very annoying. Okay, I'm just going to double check something because I have new. New skills. I'm not sure if I need to use hope to use them. So we just double check one thing. Okay. Come on. Come on, baby. Right. No, it's to do with being hit for an attack. That's fine. Okay. Right. Yeah. I'm Just gonna roll this advantage and see where we get. Let's go. [02:06:11] Speaker C: Before you go, I'm gonna say, like, I'm guessing you're sort of. Are you communicating this back to Griffin sort of, like, in a way? [02:06:19] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, yeah. Like, if I'm saying it out loud in that way, I think I'm purposely trying to, like, one, make it very clear to Abe. Yeah, that's what it sounds like I'm doing. But I'm actually also reiterating to Griffin. [02:06:31] Speaker C: I think Griffin's gonna be. You can hear Griffin playing softly in the background just to sort of as sort of ambiance in the building. And hopefully that will work as some rally. If you need a rally dice. [02:06:44] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, you got the rally dice if you want it. [02:06:47] Speaker E: It's a D8. [02:06:49] Speaker C: A D8, indeed. [02:06:51] Speaker E: All right. All right, let's see what. Where we go. It's 18 with fear. [02:07:01] Speaker A: Okay. Kick Fran, you see kickfront, sort of, like struggling to. It's clear from his. Well, obviously, you can only see the lower half of his face, but it's clear. Like, you've been in negotiations discussions like this before, Cooper. So you know that Kick Fran is currently mulling over what it's either what he's allowed to tell you, what he's willing to tell, tell you, how to tell you, etc. Etc. And kick Fran settles on like. Kick Fran places both hands on the table, like into Lynx's fingers. My patron believes that the vault is. The vault is of ancient origins, potentially dating back to the earliest of the Ace of Ari civilizations. There is speculation that. My patron has speculation that there will be artifacts. The precise. The precise form of which we are yet. We do not yet know will be prudent to add to our collections. Real quick for you, what was the question specifically? [02:09:01] Speaker E: What is it that we are looking for? [02:09:03] Speaker A: Okay, so whilst my patron is precisely uncertain what form this artifact may take, my patron is very confident the nature of the artifacts will be largely unimportant. What instead is important is the power that these artifacts would contain. I will further add that whilst what we are seeking is somewhat particular, there will be many secrets and marvel marvels within this vault that will, for all its and some purposes, be of no interest to us. Consider this as a additional payment. But any of those curios that we find that my patron does not wish to add to their collection would. We are more than happy to allow your. You and your companions to take for yourselves. I hear that the dangers facing the Isles have grown considerably over the past 12 hours. [02:10:31] Speaker E: Yep. [02:10:34] Speaker A: Perhaps we can then acknowledge that there may well be some. Something hidden within these vaults that can aid you in any future and upcoming confrontations you may find. [02:10:52] Speaker E: Can I vibe check that? Cuz that feels very specific that he knows stuff that we've only just been discussing with the council that they've only just found out. That does feel a bit, I don't know, Odd. [02:11:08] Speaker A: Yeah. [02:11:09] Speaker E: Yeah. Again, I'm going to try chuck me [02:11:12] Speaker A: a reaction check for insight, I guess. [02:11:16] Speaker E: Insight, instinct. [02:11:17] Speaker A: Sorry. [02:11:18] Speaker E: Yeah. I'm going to roll it and hopefully use my rally dice. [02:11:23] Speaker A: If it's bad, we'll see instinct or knowledge. But I suspect you'll want to use instinct. [02:11:29] Speaker E: Yeah, Yeah. I have no knowledge. Cooper is thick as. [02:11:33] Speaker A: Let's go. [02:11:37] Speaker E: Oh, what's a crit? [02:11:41] Speaker D: Nice. [02:11:41] Speaker E: I think that's one of my first crits. I think that's great. [02:11:44] Speaker A: Okay, so I think even though it's a reaction, I believe you get a hope back. Because a crit gives you hope, clears the stress. So you're vibe checking? [02:11:56] Speaker E: Yeah. [02:11:56] Speaker A: You're vibe checking? [02:11:58] Speaker E: Yeah, because it does. It does. Like for me as a player, it does feel weird that he's just like. [02:12:02] Speaker D: Yeah. [02:12:03] Speaker E: Like it could really help with the things that you're doing. Even though I don't technically know about those. Like that does feel odd. [02:12:09] Speaker A: Yeah. So you get the impression. Okay, so what you have cottoned on and what you're pretty sure sure your intuition is correct about is that Kick Fran is not lying about not being 100 sure what you're gonna find. But his following statements make it seem. Whilst it's clear, it's clear. Whilst he doesn't know what is specifically in this vault. And you, you. You're also 100 sure there's. That there's certainly a vault but he thinks he knows of. Whilst he's not sure specifically what's in the vault, you can't help but get the feeling that Kick Fran seemingly has this almost. It feels like he has some sort of prior experience regarding this matter. Perhaps the way that he talks, the way that he operates, perhaps this isn't the first vault of this type that Kickfren has encountered. And perhaps he. What he. What he has seen in the past, what he's. Seriously, what he has experienced in the past. Gives him some sort of idea as to what might be in this one. That if that makes sense. [02:14:00] Speaker E: Yeah, I think so. [02:14:06] Speaker A: He, as well as your vibe checking Kick Fran tilts ahead and perhaps maybe this is. Maybe he's you off. Okay. Off the back of a Crit, you also get that what he. Now, what he goes on to say is almost like a. It's not a. It's not an untrue truth. It's not a lie, but it's like a truth designed to. To soften, to slightly misdirect the truth. And he says, from what we understand from the reports of the. Of the keepers and writers, West Vilna, the marble that they have been mining is a curious material. Natively magic resistant, it can also be. It can be manipulated in such a way to channel formidable amounts of arcane mana. This marble has rarely been seen across the realms. Certainly rarer since the Eschaton. So perhaps if the very walls are made of this incredible material, who knows what other stuff secrets lie within. I suspect you will find something more than capable of helping your cause in future conflicts. [02:16:00] Speaker E: And Keeper nods. And he considers all this. Considering Abe has his new reliable at the table, and Cooper's also wearing bits of the marble. He's like, well, you kind of. Not that you're saying out loud, but he's like, sure, sure, sure. Okay. So I think very interesting things. [02:16:19] Speaker D: Puts the axe below the table, even though he's. He sees that kick fat. His eyes are covered, but he doesn't really trust him. So he's just kind of pushing it underneath you 100%. [02:16:32] Speaker A: Kind of get the thing. Like I'm hiding my axe from a blind man. But there's this part of you that, like this, like, I feel justified. Like, it feels like this man's looking into my soul. [02:16:44] Speaker D: Yeah. [02:16:45] Speaker A: Cooper's wearing marble, but Cooper. Yeah, like, does Kickfrun know I'm wearing the marble? [02:16:50] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah. He's like, sure. [02:16:52] Speaker A: Okay. Does it smell weird as kickfruit? Yeah. Super sensitive smell, yes. So do we have terms? [02:17:04] Speaker D: You. [02:17:04] Speaker A: I accompany you and your companions into the Mountain vault. We explore it until I am satisfied that I have found the artifacts to return to my patron. And anything else you find in the vault belongs to you. Everything worth taking within the vault belongs to you. [02:17:34] Speaker D: Well, it's eight, by the way. Might not be able to tell the difference in our voices. Wait. I know you ought to come, probably to check up on us, but why? What's stopping us from just going over on our own without you? Like, what do you bring other than an umbrella? [02:18:10] Speaker A: Rest assured, I. I have a very particular set of skills. A particular set of skills that will allow us to bypass certain security measures that have. Will have kept this vault unintruded until now. Consider this a symbiotic relationship I require your aid in the vault. You will require my aid to get into the vault. [02:19:05] Speaker E: I await Griff. Like I feel like. Again, like Cooper say. Okay, so here's. So you're offering X for. Okay, so you come with us. We go in. That's the terms. And then he says that out loud so he can get Griffin's response to see what Griffin wants to do. Because Griffin's his concern now, considering who the patron is, [02:19:38] Speaker C: Griffin will probably think back to you and say like, whatever it is in there, we need to destroy it. No matter what. [02:19:58] Speaker E: Yeah, okay. I suppose we have some sort of deal then. [02:20:07] Speaker A: Kick Fran nods and holds a hand out. [02:20:13] Speaker E: Am I gonna get like this one of these. These magical deals? If I don't do it, I die. Right now I'm getting this feeling, but sure. Cooper's done stupider things. He will. He will Shake. On behalf of myself, I will find this artifact for you. I'll be accompanied. But it is my turn to break and my turn to take. [02:20:39] Speaker A: As your palms touch. [02:20:42] Speaker E: Good. [02:20:44] Speaker A: A ring of red runes appears around your palms. And you watch as the. These runes spiral and turn like the. The mechan. The mechanisms of a lock. And they coalesce into your hands, like into your palms. And as your hands separate, there is a red sigil. Like a red runic sigil that floats in the air where your hands just shook. Consider this binding Kick Francis. [02:21:28] Speaker E: Okay. [02:21:29] Speaker A: And I will spend a hope affair just to be fair. Thank you for the suggestion. [02:21:37] Speaker E: Hey, as long as it's me, then I'm the one who gets the. The shitter. If the others decide they want to break it. Which is fine. I. That's what Cooper wants to do. [02:21:50] Speaker A: Cool wood. The chance to reintroduce Professor Abe to the world. Would either of you like to do a reaction knowledge role? [02:22:03] Speaker E: I have no knowledge. [02:22:04] Speaker A: Let's go. [02:22:04] Speaker E: Let's go. [02:22:05] Speaker A: Professor Abe. Let's go. [02:22:07] Speaker D: Let's go. [02:22:08] Speaker F: It's a smart boys. [02:22:09] Speaker D: It's two smart boys. [02:22:11] Speaker E: So smart. [02:22:12] Speaker F: Just my voice. [02:22:13] Speaker B: The freaking brain trustee. They've come. [02:22:20] Speaker E: Fourteen. It's not bad. [02:22:22] Speaker D: Okay. [02:22:23] Speaker E: Zero. [02:22:24] Speaker A: Professor abe. [02:22:28] Speaker D: Ten. Halfway to a thought. [02:22:35] Speaker A: That is definitely a sigil of some sort. Oh yeah. Rune. [02:22:42] Speaker D: He whispers that to Cooper. [02:22:47] Speaker C: Because I'm looking over. Would I be able to see it? Because I'm just beading over. [02:22:54] Speaker E: Let's go. For like. [02:22:56] Speaker A: Yeah. Because of distractions and things in the way and you're trying to be discreet, but yeah. I'd let you roll. [02:23:07] Speaker E: Could I. [02:23:09] Speaker D: Could I. [02:23:10] Speaker C: Could I use my law born community advantage so I gain an advantage if it involves history, culture, politics to just make it a normal role. [02:23:26] Speaker A: Yeah. [02:23:26] Speaker E: Yeah. Let's go. [02:23:28] Speaker A: Yeah. So normal roll. Have you got any hope? [02:23:32] Speaker C: No, I used it on talking to Gr. [02:23:36] Speaker A: To talking to Cooper. [02:23:38] Speaker D: Okay. [02:23:38] Speaker A: Thank you. [02:23:40] Speaker C: Let's have a go. [02:23:41] Speaker A: Just a raw dog roll. [02:23:42] Speaker C: Raw dog roll. [02:23:49] Speaker D: Yeah. [02:23:50] Speaker E: You are very distracted. [02:23:52] Speaker A: You see this? You see this rune materialize like between Cooper and King Fran's hands And as you saw like lean round to see what it was Abe like leans in and just covers up all of your obscures all of your vision. [02:24:10] Speaker E: That's a sigil. [02:24:11] Speaker A: That is Abe leaving over going. That's a sigil. I think that's what completely blocks off your view. Okay. Secret red rune. Okay. Kick Fran nods and I've. I've recommissioned the sending stone so you can send me single pulse. Use it as a single pulse beacon. Prepare yourselves and your companions and pulse for me when you are ready to depart. Blimey. [02:24:58] Speaker E: Flutter. Okay. [02:25:01] Speaker A: We. The journey may be treacherous but and Kickan thinks about it. Given you seem to have a relationship with the pirates of a sort Cooper, it might be prudent to approach them to see if they can expedite our journey. Sure. [02:25:26] Speaker E: I can talk to someone. [02:25:29] Speaker A: The the mountain vault is relatively close to the north eastern shore of the southeastern island. Perhaps with their vessel they may be able to grant us a more direct landfall for us to make our approach rather than through the. Through the the jungle woodland to the west of the mountain, which I believe I understand is perilous to traverse at. [02:26:05] Speaker E: Okay. [02:26:07] Speaker A: I await your beacon. Kick Fran nods, finishes off his small glass of water and then slides out the booth and leaves. Do we smash cuts to a later point or is there discussions to be had at the table? [02:26:39] Speaker E: Right now I feel like it's we need to gather together. [02:26:44] Speaker A: Sure. In which case, let's smash. Cut. Where do the five of you gather and or if you're approaching the pirates, do you all gather in the parlor? [02:26:56] Speaker F: I was going to say would we meet in the parlay? [02:26:59] Speaker A: Probably. Okay. [02:27:03] Speaker E: Yeah. [02:27:06] Speaker C: In. [02:27:06] Speaker A: Yeah. Which case a short while later your accom like Cassandre and Guardi arrive. Yeah. What's the. What's the plan? Batman's [02:27:24] Speaker E: I feel like Cooper reiterates everything that he's learned from Kit Cran chosen sigil. I'm sure it's just to make sure that I place play fair but it. We'll see. We'll see how that works out. Most important thing is though, this vault might have something to help us with the time. So also, we don't really want Patron lad guy to get hold of said artifacts, so that's something to also be aware of. But yeah, so that. That's what happened with us. Don't know what this is, though. Does anyone know what this is? [02:28:08] Speaker F: Let me see. [02:28:12] Speaker D: Tone. [02:28:14] Speaker A: Cass, if you want to knock out a, like a knowledge reaction or something, [02:28:19] Speaker F: I'll grab his arm quite firmly. [02:28:22] Speaker E: Stupid band. [02:28:23] Speaker B: Might as well have a gander. [02:28:25] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [02:28:33] Speaker F: No. [02:28:34] Speaker A: Okay. [02:28:34] Speaker F: No idea. [02:28:37] Speaker D: No. [02:28:38] Speaker A: It is, in fact, it's a sigil. A sigil. So you definitely understand this to be a. Like a binding ward of sorts. So it is for all extents and purposes, the two, like Kick Fran and Cooper are now, like, magically bound. It's arcane in nature. It's usually used. It's. It's basically, it's an enchantment that is placed on two parties so they can ensure that one of them doesn't, like, stiff the other. So you can effectively debilitate the other if they are in breach of the bind, in breach of the contract. So effectively, yeah, Kick Fran has like, it. If anything, like, there's. There's absolutely that level of ick that Kick Fran has magically bound Cooper to do this task until Kick Fran is pleased with the result to release Cooper from the bind. That said, Cooper, you've got the ability on the other side to be like. If you feel like you're going above and beyond what is expected of the bind, then, like, not doing what wasn't asked of you doesn't, like, set it off, if you will. If we talk in dnd terms, this is a gears. [02:30:08] Speaker E: Okay, [02:30:10] Speaker D: great. You're bound to kick brand and exit. Yeah, yeah. [02:30:16] Speaker E: Having a great time, guys. [02:30:18] Speaker A: I think with so of the back of Cooper's 14 and Cassandra Guardi's 11s. Whilst you don't know my 10, you definitely know that the power. That's for a start, I guess. Like, is it weird that Kick Frank can cast magic? Like, he's never, like, expressed magical casting ability up until this point. But the magic that binds to view is surprisingly powerful. Cass slash Guardi Cooper. Perhaps you worry that with this powerful arcane magic. Annie. A very repetitive, like, remarks of my patron. [02:31:08] Speaker C: There's. [02:31:09] Speaker A: There's a lot of horror stories that. That might spin out into. [02:31:15] Speaker F: Patron is in Patron. Patron. [02:31:18] Speaker D: Patron. Patron. [02:31:23] Speaker A: Yes. [02:31:23] Speaker D: Or Patron Cooper. [02:31:25] Speaker A: If you've fundamentally signed a deal with a warlock, you are in for a terrible time. [02:31:33] Speaker E: I mean, I did it, no one else. So I'm. Cooper's feeling like. Well, I've given you all. I've given all of you information that you now require. [02:31:43] Speaker A: You can be. [02:31:44] Speaker D: Is that what like war looks like? Is it like a multi level marketing scheme? He's down to his patron and now on to him and now Cooper buys to someone else. [02:31:56] Speaker E: Then that's a great idea. [02:31:58] Speaker B: Yeah. If Cooper manages to get like four people sign up, he can climb the ladder. [02:32:05] Speaker E: Get some little powers, baby. Already got those. No, I don't think we do anymore [02:32:16] Speaker A: back. [02:32:17] Speaker B: No, I mean, I. I think. I think G is just going to be like. So let me get this straight. We're trying to stop a demigod and you've just magically compelled yourself for a side gig? [02:32:37] Speaker E: Look, you. So pause. I assume that Cass and Gardy did mention before I went to give Fran that there was something going on with the mountain. So that's why Cooper was like, let's do this. [02:32:56] Speaker D: Do you recall thing where Abe shook you? [02:33:00] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [02:33:02] Speaker A: I mean, I would have thought Abe [02:33:03] Speaker E: would have said, don't do it, you idiot. That's why he was sat right next to me. [02:33:08] Speaker F: So like, Abe was like, I want to watch where this goes. I want to see what he does. [02:33:14] Speaker A: Hang on. Was Abe the moral support that sat there, watch you make a terrible decision and then look at you and go, can't believe you did that. [02:33:21] Speaker D: Can't believe that. What a stupid idea that was. [02:33:28] Speaker B: Honestly, we leave them alone for five minutes. [02:33:34] Speaker A: Yeah. Did the Casangardi discuss with Cooper or discuss with everyone what they felt on their world? World spirit trip [02:33:45] Speaker E: or some of it at least if you didn't want to [02:33:47] Speaker F: go into like mountain torted. We're gonna have a little lie down. [02:33:53] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay. So. Yeah. Does anyone have any burning questions for Cooper or anyone else? As Ellas mirror makes time. While you're waiting for Ellasmira. [02:34:13] Speaker F: I think seeing this sigil on. On his hand that he's managed to do in the five minutes that she's not seen him. Castle, when she sort of grabbed his arm to look at it and then realized that it was a sigil she didn't recognize. Which is even worse in her mind because how is there something she doesn't recognize? She'll kind of pull him closer. She'll say, you better not get hurt. I swear, if something happens to you. Cooper, [02:34:46] Speaker E: it's fine. Going to be fine. [02:34:49] Speaker B: Desperately give Cooper the. This is not the time for this eyes. [02:34:56] Speaker A: I'm gonna quickly pause things for a moment because Cassandra is well read. [02:35:03] Speaker F: She does. And she has sensing magical items. [02:35:07] Speaker A: Yes. I will. Also, now that Abe hasn't shown bodies, I'm gonna let Nate re roll. Because if this sigil just reappeared, that will activate a new knowledge, like a new reaction. [02:35:24] Speaker B: So that's what this does this time. [02:35:26] Speaker A: A griffin can see it, so we can disregard that 7. And Cass, I'll let you roll the A D6 to add to your 11. [02:35:35] Speaker F: Well, for anger knowledge. [02:35:36] Speaker C: Can I do well read again as well, please. [02:35:38] Speaker A: Please, you can. [02:35:39] Speaker D: Yay. [02:35:41] Speaker A: And this. So you'll just get a raw advantage this time. Cuz like just seen this. This sigil, like, effectively you've cast would have triggered the sigil to appear. [02:35:54] Speaker D: Nice. 22. [02:36:01] Speaker A: 22 and an 18. [02:36:04] Speaker B: Nice. [02:36:10] Speaker A: Okay, scrap everything I've said in relation to Cass and Griffin. [02:36:15] Speaker E: How doomed am I, Dan? Am I doomed? [02:36:20] Speaker A: As this sigil appears, Cass, off the back of your 22, you recognize the sigil and it's. Well, I guess I'll let you tell me how you want to react. But you both just recognize the sigil you cast and Griffin and the sigil that gently turns in this vibrantly bright red. And Cass, for a moment, like you think, oh, that's a very, very similar. Similar red to like Griffin's eyes, for example, let's say a bright red. The sigil belongs to one of the Ace Ofari high houses, and the sigil belongs to House Antalir, A house that you understand [02:37:31] Speaker B: well. [02:37:31] Speaker A: A house that you both know once took residence in the city of Alicia. But when that city was lost during the eschaton, the house fell. And when Alicia emerged back into the world approximately a year ago, House Antalya had crumbled to dust. It is one of the lost houses, but it is also one of the most powerful of the Ace of our. It was one of the most powerful of the Acephari Eye houses. It is said that House Antalya was one of the first houses to receive the blessing of the Arcane magic from Akhan the Betrayer. They were some of the first Arcane mages. But the house is lost. The house is no more. The house is destroyed. And yet, clear as day, the sigil of House Antelia hovers over Cooper's wrist. So perhaps Griffin, there might be a sense of. Is there a sense of relief? It's not the sigil you might have expected it to be. [02:39:00] Speaker C: Yeah, I think now definitely much more curiosity comes from seeing that sigil. I think he. He would have heard stories from people who would have come from Alicia. So that's why he's like. [02:39:22] Speaker A: But he. [02:39:23] Speaker C: He knew that like, no one of House Antalya was still alive. [02:39:30] Speaker A: The last recorded leader of House Antelia was Lady Turia Valenmar. She disappeared with the city. She was traced out of the city during the war, before Alicia turned its banners to support ire. And with Turia's like exile, like her fleeing the city, the rest of the house crumbled. Especially after the city just disappeared into the. Well, as the Elysians say, we disappeared into the void. And then they emerged two years later. So last year. But yeah, Antelir is a thing of the past. So that in mind. Yeah. Are there any. Are there any burning conversations to be had? [02:40:20] Speaker F: That. That does not change Cass's reaction one iota. [02:40:24] Speaker A: No, no, no, no, no. [02:40:28] Speaker D: To be fair. To be fair, he didn't say he was gonna do that. When he shook his hand, I was there. And he didn't say he was gonna put like a sigil on him. So, you know, k. For. [02:40:41] Speaker F: How many times have you traveled with me? How many times have we made deals with people for information? You don't shake their hands. [02:40:50] Speaker E: I mean, it's done now. [02:40:58] Speaker F: Oh, she throws his hand down, she stalks off. [02:41:04] Speaker B: If we took it off at the wrists, would that get you out of it? In the off chance, in case it wasn't. [02:41:14] Speaker E: It's not the first time that I've chopped off a body part, so, you know, sort of things. I'm not against it. I'm not. I'm not against it if things go sour. Okay. I'm not against it. Anyway. [02:41:32] Speaker D: It'll be your shooting hand. [02:41:35] Speaker E: Yeah, it's my shooting hand, so my. Not the best hands to remove. But there's a will. There's a way. We'll figure it out. [02:41:43] Speaker D: I know this guy's called Greg, who makes pretty cool. [02:41:49] Speaker C: He doesn't live in this world. [02:41:54] Speaker D: This world isn't ready for Greg. [02:42:01] Speaker A: So, yeah, if there. If there aren't any other sort of like burning questions or conversations to be had. Well, are there? Before we. [02:42:14] Speaker C: I think Griffin is just gonna take Cooper's hand and look at it a bit more closely. And be careful with this one. This is. This is old arcane magic. This is. This is potent stuff. [02:42:38] Speaker E: Okay. Okay. Weird enough that I've got Titan Killer in my head, and now I've got an old magic sigil on my head. Both apparently my fault, but the handshake was definitely my fault. I will accept this, but. Thanks. I'm just going to go talk to Cass real quick. Try and smooth things over. Can I try and find Cass? [02:43:12] Speaker C: Please. [02:43:12] Speaker E: If she's talked off. [02:43:13] Speaker A: Absolutely. Absolutely. [02:43:16] Speaker E: Where. Where do I find Cass? [02:43:19] Speaker B: Might actually, just. Before you get out there, Cooper, I might just put a hand on your shoulder. And if it hasn't already been communicated to you, just be like, it seems like her family is probably gone for good. [02:43:40] Speaker D: So [02:43:43] Speaker B: be careful, Cooper. [02:43:47] Speaker E: Thanks. And you can. You can see. I don't think this was communicated before. I don't think Cass is the kind of person to go, oh, by the way, away, family. You're all dead. So, like, I feel like everything else was the focus of that conversation. So you can see that sudden change of, like, oh, and then a nod, thank you. And then he goes to look for Ca. And if she's not. She said, you know, she's not too far away. [02:44:16] Speaker F: No, she'd be a short distance away. Calling off, [02:44:22] Speaker E: he will very gently tap her on the shoulder. [02:44:28] Speaker F: What? [02:44:29] Speaker E: I'm sorry. I am. I'm sorry. I'm just an idiot. You know I'm an idiot, right? [02:44:37] Speaker F: Said before. Some things don't change. [02:44:43] Speaker E: Guardian. Ancient. Go on. You. You first. [02:44:49] Speaker F: I shouldn't have yelled at you. It wasn't stupid. You were doing something brave, as always. [02:44:59] Speaker E: Although I wouldn't say that. I. I was just trying to get information and. Made more sense to keep our enemies close than turning them away. If he is an enemy. Most likely he is an enemy. Look, Cass Gardy mentioned you got some news, and I'm sorry. [02:45:23] Speaker F: Yeah, I think. I think I knew a guest. But I thought if I walked far enough, if I researched hard enough, if I shot enough things, I could find out a way for them to be fine. They just got lost somewhere along with everything else. But that's. That's why you can't do that anymore. Cooper. You're the only one I've got left. [02:46:09] Speaker E: Okay. I'm sorry. Can I give her a hug? Give her a hug. [02:46:23] Speaker F: It's a bit like when you pick up a cat. [02:46:25] Speaker D: It's like. [02:46:30] Speaker F: And then she kind of relaxes into it. [02:46:37] Speaker E: Okay. You'll be all right. [02:46:41] Speaker F: And I think into the hug, she'll just say, it was excellent. So I think it was exo. [02:46:55] Speaker E: That hug gets tighter. We'll stop him. We better. [02:47:05] Speaker F: Oh, you bet we will. [02:47:09] Speaker E: Hopefully we'll find something in this vault. It'll help us and it'll be worth this. [02:47:21] Speaker F: Thank you. [02:47:24] Speaker E: You're welcome. And I think he'll give her a very gentle peck on the cheek when he lets the hug go. And he won't address it, and he'll just go back to the Table. [02:47:40] Speaker A: Flying away like a night's breeze. Okay, is there. Is there anyone that GI Finds himself talking to in this moment, like this evening, for all exc. And some purposes we going to like. We'll do a. We'll treat this as a lot. Well, you're called long or short rest. There's no exo clock anymore that's ticked out so you're not kind of racing against that clock. That said. That said, there is a new. There is a new timer, realistically, because you know that there is a flame, a dread flame approaches. So you can. You can certainly. You've got enough time. It's early enough that if you want a long or short rest, I'll let you decide, but we'll do that like between the sessions. Unless there's anything super important, which case we'll touch back in the later bs. In this moment, is there anything Gardi wants to do or anyone that God wants to speak to? [02:49:00] Speaker B: I think he's probably pretty. Pretty withdrawn at the moment. Like he'll happily talk to anyone who approaches him. But yeah, I don't think he's. I think he's. He's quieter than usual at the moment. [02:49:21] Speaker A: Okay, well, with that in mind, is there anyone who's seeking out Gardi? [02:49:27] Speaker D: I think after, like, Cass and Cooper leave and Guardi obviously catches Cooper and is just like, by the way, Cass's family are gone. I think that kind of. We go, oh, yeah. We haven't really talked about what happened in the. In the. An hour of commune, so I think Abe will just kind of scooch up the. Up towards Gardu in the. In the booth, their usual booth, and just be like, [02:50:09] Speaker A: right, Gotti. [02:50:15] Speaker B: Double takes Abe starting a conversation, potentially even about feelings. I don't know, Ape. We've tried so hard. [02:50:34] Speaker A: But. [02:50:39] Speaker B: It's funny. It's like Cass and Pfizer are almost the same things that I thought [02:50:49] Speaker C: had [02:50:49] Speaker B: all the strength and the power to change the world. And now [02:50:57] Speaker C: they're both [02:51:00] Speaker B: fragile and broken and healing. And we have to fight exo again, but worse. I don't know what we're gonna do. [02:51:22] Speaker D: Well, I. Could only speak for myself, but, you know, we've had. We've had quite the trajectory. It's a big word for it in the last. Well, I've only known earlier in for a couple of days, and we've come so far already and we can't stop now. So I just. I just gotta do what we've been doing. Just One foot in front of the other and keep going. For who else is gonna do it? [02:52:11] Speaker B: Oh, hey, no, we won't stop. [02:52:16] Speaker A: But [02:52:18] Speaker B: just hope for everyone on this island's sake that we can do something. [02:52:29] Speaker D: You know, you. [02:52:29] Speaker B: Maybe everyone can. [02:52:31] Speaker A: Sorry. [02:52:31] Speaker B: Maybe. Maybe everyone can stay in the mountain if there's going to. If there's a problem. There's saying there's anti magic rocks in [02:52:39] Speaker D: there or something, [02:52:43] Speaker E: but. [02:52:46] Speaker A: Well, you're right. [02:52:46] Speaker B: We'll just do what we can. [02:52:50] Speaker D: I just. I don't think you give yourself. You say Cass is the strong one, but I don't see anyone else around here talking to gods and healing the land. I think you're the strongest among us. Or not. You know, lifting things. But. [02:53:14] Speaker B: No, that's definitely. Definitely. [02:53:21] Speaker A: Let's see. [02:53:23] Speaker B: These things I can do. They're not. I didn't. I didn't own these. They're from the land. And if the land is cracking, [02:53:35] Speaker D: don't [02:53:35] Speaker B: know how much longer I'll have left. [02:53:43] Speaker A: Well, [02:53:45] Speaker B: we'll do what we can. [02:53:50] Speaker D: Drink up. Put airs in your chest. Pushes him a large fire. [02:54:00] Speaker A: Is there anyone that Griffin finds himself talking to? You have a catalog of NPCs if you wanna. If you. If you think of any of those would be interesting or good to talk to. [02:54:21] Speaker C: Do we know where Mayor Coraline has been taken to? [02:54:28] Speaker A: Yes. Where? [02:54:31] Speaker F: Where? [02:54:32] Speaker A: Where might we surmise that she's been taken? Do we think there's anywhere in particular? Otherwise it will be like one of the houses that's been invoked. [02:54:39] Speaker F: Would it be the temple? I suppose. [02:54:43] Speaker A: Actually that's a good shout given Coraline's specific nature. Yeah. So, yeah, Griffin, if you like the. The Sailor sanctuary sanctums just around the corner if you wanted to go visit Coraline. [02:54:57] Speaker C: Yeah, I think he's gonna go to the Sailor Sanction just to see how she is. [02:55:01] Speaker A: Okay. In which case, as you enter, as you approach. Because it's. It's getting to night now. You see, Shayla is in a vertical commas, like closing up. And like, she sees you approach and like reading your face, like, she looks like she's about to like, close and like bolt the door. And then she just kind of smiles and nods and then like leaves the door ajar for you. Renengar. Bless you, she says as she kind of brushes past you and then heads off into East Bay. And as you peer your head through the door into the shrine, you can see that sort of like the. The pews that were in a circle earlier have been rearranged into rope. Well, would have been rearranged into Rose bar. The ones near the altar at the Foreign. They've been kind of spread aside to make room for this slab of floating like bark wood upon on which Coraline lays. And once again you're struck with how it looks like she's. This is like her funeral procession. The way that she looks so like calm and still and peaceful. But kneeling next to her form is the Hammer Drider. And the Hammer Drider turns into its attention to you and like looks. Looks a bit curious, but then nods and then like returns its head back and sort of like closes its eyes as you approach. [02:56:49] Speaker C: How is she doing? [02:56:59] Speaker A: Just going to hold this for the rest of the session. She is strong. She will survive. She is already showing signs of life. And the Hammer Drider sort of like turns to you and sort of like nods its head towards. Towards Coraline. And as you glance over, you see Coraline's eyes slowly flicker open. Griffin, she says weakly. [02:57:43] Speaker C: You took quite a tumble. [02:57:47] Speaker A: Please tell me it was worth it. [02:57:52] Speaker C: Kind of. We. We cured Pfizer. [02:58:02] Speaker A: And Coraline, like. You hear a groan as she sort of like shifts on this bed of flowers and like turns her head to. To regard you. Why do I get the feeling you're about to hit me with a butt? [02:58:25] Speaker C: Exo already got to Burunan. He's. I don't know the full details, but he's more stronger now. But we're. We're going to. We're going to do something. We've got. We've got a plan, I think. Yeah, we got a plan. [02:58:43] Speaker E: We. [02:58:43] Speaker C: We're going to do something. [02:58:48] Speaker A: Coraline, like her. There is an intensity in her eyes as she kind of looks at you when you mention that Exo is more powerful now. And she closes her eyes and sort of like turns her head away for a moment. To you. Do you feel like you can do it? Do you feel like you could take Exo on? Do you feel like you could defeat him? [02:59:41] Speaker C: I feel like the five of us can. [02:59:46] Speaker A: And Coraline smiles and nods. That is exactly why you're going to win. Exo has become this black hole. [03:00:03] Speaker C: He. [03:00:04] Speaker A: He draws everything in and crushes it to nothingness. Once all is said and done, Exo will be as he always has been. Alone. We have spent all of this time fretting over the world spirits. But remember that through our combined efforts, we willed those spirits into being. Through our combined efforts, we define the will of gods. And Exo is no God that I believe in. As long as you stay true to each other, I have every faith you will deliver us from this Fate. [03:01:16] Speaker C: I will definitely try. [03:01:23] Speaker A: She smiles. And I'm hoping you'll do more than try, Griffin. I'm hoping you will because we're counting on you to do. [03:01:44] Speaker C: He nods. And if he finds that such an incredibly massive ask, but he's trying to sort of just try and feel and look strong that he's taking it on. [03:02:06] Speaker A: And Coraline sort of like turns like rests her head back and you notice like the way that her shoulders slump and relax. She's seemingly kind of drifted back off into unconsciousness. The Hamadryder you notice has just turned and is studying you in a somewhat unnerving way. But it started is contemplating you. [03:02:46] Speaker C: Look after her. [03:02:51] Speaker A: We always have. How I tried to respond. Good luck. May the Titans watch over you. [03:03:13] Speaker C: Griffin will nod and just sort of take a big breath and then leave to join the others. [03:03:22] Speaker A: Okay. In which case, as we we reconvene and find the the five of you back at the bountiful parlay. The night is pressing on. It's getting surprisingly late at this point and you can't help but wonder how much longer you need to wait. But when you're but then approximately kind of quarter to midnight, your table is approached by the two pirates that for you first encountered on your first like morning here. And as they look to the two look to the five of you, the lady says the boss will see you now. And you're led into that same back room that you were led into a few days ago. And the room is as dark and dingy as you remember it being. The the like the, the. The light only. The room only illuminated by like flickering candlelight. But you can still see the distinct silhouette of the patchwork wooden throne that stands at the far end of this room. And there is a reclining silhouette sat in it at this moment, only a left leg visible in the. In the light. And as the five of you enter and the door closes behind you, this, this figure leans forward into the light and Ellesmerer looks to you and says, I understand you are in need of a pirate ship. I'll call it there. Elsewhere. [03:05:37] Speaker D: Oh no. Oh no, no, no. Baddy's doing baddy things. [03:05:43] Speaker E: Oh, how screwed am I? How screwed are you? [03:05:54] Speaker A: Yes. Kick Friend's voice echoes out Cooper and his companions have agreed to the task. I have bound him at your request lest there are any complications. But I feel that that will not be an issue we need to worry about. I'm confident in their abilities to see this through to a successful completion. Soon we will unearth the powers that you the the powers that you seek. There is a silence from the other end of the sending stone as Kick Fran stares at the kind of glass glowing orbs, shiny surface and this isn't something that Kick Fran is particularly surprised by. His patron is usually very quiet, but this time as the silent gets louder, the voice replies good, I look forward to seeing your results. And in a darkened library of sorts with floor to ceiling windows that through which a sea of rolling clouds can be seen and illuminated by the same blue glow that illuminates Kick Fran, a figure smiles and nods as the blue glow begins to flutter, sputter and fade. And we find illuminated in the dying glow a dark skinned Sanguvar woman, her hair cut into a neat bob, expensive earrings hanging from her ears, sat in a wheelchair, her a blanket over her hands. And as the orb stops glowing it levitates back. It is carried away from the this, the sitting figure, the figure in a wheelchair and placed back on a pedestal and Lord Sorrowynd turns to the patron. I trust that your little escapades will not interfere with my plans, Lady Nefene? Lord Sorrowynd asks and Nephene Valamar of House Antalyar smiles. No, I don't think they will at all. She says with a smile as her attendant takes the handles of her wheelchair and wheels her out, careful not to rock her paralyzed form. Congratulations everyone. On complete completing episode 15 so we are off. We are. We are well into the final act. We're on the I've said it before, but I'll say again, we're on the home stretch and it's all to play for. So you're going to the mountain? Who. Who'd have thought you were going to the mountain, eh? [03:10:14] Speaker D: We would have ended up there. [03:10:16] Speaker E: Yeah, [03:10:18] Speaker D: crazy. [03:10:20] Speaker A: So yes, apologies, I'm just gonna be more freeform now I'm holding the mic.
