[00:00:01] Speaker A: Hello, world. Hello, Internet. Hi, welcome. My name is Dan. Dan. We are the explorers of Elsewhere. This is the Titan Isles, our Dagger Heart campaign, the third in the Elsewhere series. And this is live buckling buckos. And by buckos, I'm referring to Nate. Hello. And Livy. [00:00:26] Speaker B: Hello. [00:00:26] Speaker A: And Georgia. [00:00:28] Speaker B: Hello. [00:00:28] Speaker A: And Theo. [00:00:30] Speaker C: Hiya. [00:00:30] Speaker A: And Tim. [00:00:31] Speaker D: Hello. [00:00:32] Speaker A: Hello. Hello. I'm feeling slightly frantic, on edge. So yeah, maybe we'll just. We'll just smash it through. Hello to all of you who are already in chat. Hello, hello, hello. Chris. We are live. Live. And hello to those of you over on Twitch. Hi. So we are in the thick of it. I. I think is the correct term for it. You have begun your journey to find the well, to. To confront the world spirit, the Titan known as Pfizer. You are some distance along your journey and you've come into a spot of bother that is rather mammoth like creature on frozen river shaped. It's not a shape you tend to find much in the wild, but here we are. You have found it. Yes, we. We are going to be jumping straight back into that. Let's get the. The chores done and out of the way. If you are interested in stuff like this. Thank you, I appreciate it. I appreciate more if you hit the like Button, subscribe on YouTube. If you haven't, follow us on Twitch. If you haven't, jump into our Discord and join all of us reprobates over there where we'll be chatting and doing all sorts of lovely stuff like sharing additional art and behind the scenes stuff and yeah, just general elsewhere. Elsewhere chatter. And if you really enjoy what we're doing, consider becoming a member on YouTube or a patron on Patreon. The tiers are relatively cheap and that gives you access to a member members only section in the Discord where there will be more exclusive secret things happening and I wouldn't want you to miss that out, you know. Yeah, yeah. So with that in mind, who wants to jump into episode 12? [00:02:42] Speaker B: Me. [00:02:42] Speaker D: I want to jump into episode 12. [00:02:44] Speaker B: No, I want to jump into episode 12. [00:02:46] Speaker A: You do? Well, tough, because we're jumping into a title sequence first. [00:03:05] Speaker E: Hello, I'm Nate and I'll be playing Griffin, a Sanguar bard. [00:03:12] Speaker B: Hi, I'm Livy and I'm playing Abe, the Guardian Keeper. [00:03:18] Speaker C: Hello, my name is Fia and I'll be playing Cooper, the dragon scent rogue. [00:03:24] Speaker F: Hi, my name is Georgia and I'll be playing Cassandra, an ace of our sorcerer. [00:03:30] Speaker D: Hi, I'm Tim and I'm playing Gardi, the Johnny Druid. [00:03:36] Speaker A: And my name is DM Dan the Games Master in this adventure, Devotion and duty are often seen as the noblest of virtues. To dedicate oneself wholly to a cause, an oath or a higher calling is to live with purpose and clarity. It gives order to chaos and direction to lives that might otherwise drift without meaning. Unwavering commitment can forge resilience and inspire others, for there is strength in knowing exactly where you stand. Yet such devotion carries a paradox. If your path has always been fixed, if your duty has defined every choice, how can you measure whether the cause itself is just? A life lived in service to a single purpose risks becoming blind to the wider truth. The faithful soldier, the tireless servant, the unyielding guardian. Each may act with honor, yet never pause to ask, are we doing the right thing? Under the influence of the warring world spirits, the Titan Isles are changing at an alarming rate. For the defenders of the island, then is their fight still the same as it always was? And so we find the six of you, including our good friend Coraline Balroon, on a frozen river northwest ish of the the village of Riceville. Some some kind of considerable distance. You have made it some way. But unlike the relative peace of the village of keepers, you find yourselves in somewhere significantly less peaceful. In the middle of a frozen river, confronted by what is quickly becoming a stampede of mammothaunts or shovel tusks as Abe would have you know them. Shovel mammothaunts like fleeing for their lives away from a number of six legged wolf like creatures with cruel sharp bony like protrusions emerging from the backs of their front legs. And this sort of like chittering, warbling yelping bark as they communicate to one another as they move in packs to surround these migrating mammothaus. And we find you six currently trying your best to take shelter around one of the rocky protrusions from the river Cassandre. And Coraline, you currently being on on the rock itself having just been blinked there by Cass, leaving your snajer to fend for itself. To add to the chaos, one of the mammoth forms is currently frozen in time thanks to Griffin's time lock ability. And so powerful the magics as it was that a mammothaunt directly behind it had collided with the frozen shovel tusk and fully flipped over and landing on the ice with a heavy crash. And Gardi, as you've watched this happen you've you felt that kind of knot in your gut expand as you hear the telltale signs of the cracking of ice from underneath the mammothaunt as it has collided with the ice with the frozen river's surface. So with all that in mind, who's taking the next turn? Gardy has his hand up from last. [00:08:28] Speaker D: Oh, no. [00:08:31] Speaker B: Right, you're making all the decisions. Let's go. [00:08:34] Speaker F: What you were doing a week ago. [00:08:39] Speaker D: I'm just gonna do what I was gonna do last week and hope that nothing has changed. [00:08:43] Speaker A: Sure. [00:08:43] Speaker D: All right. I'm a. I'm a jump down off the old. [00:08:50] Speaker A: I haven't. So you have to let me know if you want to get off. [00:08:53] Speaker B: Unbelievable. [00:08:54] Speaker D: Yes. Can you get magic, please? [00:08:58] Speaker A: I. I cannot hold. [00:09:03] Speaker D: This is what you get for making me go first, Dan. [00:09:06] Speaker A: Why'd you want to get off? Why? Surely you'd want to stay on. Wait, is it in? [00:09:15] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:09:16] Speaker A: And there we go. You are off. You are free. [00:09:19] Speaker D: Ah. Free once more. And then I think I'm gonna just turn into a. Like a ravening pig beast. [00:09:29] Speaker B: Right. Kill. [00:09:33] Speaker A: What does that look like? [00:09:36] Speaker D: So, like a roughly sort of six, seven feet tall at the shoulder, pig creature, but with the teeth of something that is clearly a carnivore and built for a bit more speed. Oh, let's. Let's do an evolution version as well, because I haven't done that before. And that seems fun. So that will be. Where are we evolve. Powerful beast, I think. Is it powerful beast that I've got it on? [00:10:13] Speaker A: Tim has seen all of the new toys that druids get at level five, clearly. [00:10:17] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. [00:10:21] Speaker A: It's not powerful beast. [00:10:22] Speaker D: I'll have to do it again. [00:10:29] Speaker C: God. He suddenly become Pokemon. [00:10:31] Speaker B: Oh, no. [00:10:31] Speaker A: I'm a bear. [00:10:34] Speaker D: Oh, God. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Hold on. [00:10:40] Speaker A: Hold, hold. [00:10:43] Speaker B: God. You should do this in real life. There's no way I'm a bear. No, no, no. [00:10:47] Speaker D: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What am I now? [00:10:53] Speaker E: Oh, no. [00:10:54] Speaker D: I'm a cat. Oh, it's tier three. I remember now. It's tier three. All right. We're working on it. You know that bit in Moana where [00:11:03] Speaker B: he just keeps changing? Yeah. [00:11:05] Speaker D: Now he's just changing over and over again. Let's try that one. One last beautiful time. What do you mean? I have insufficient resources. Give me all resources back. [00:11:16] Speaker B: That's probably because you spent it all. But turning into a cat. I've got. [00:11:21] Speaker D: I've got all of my hope back. [00:11:22] Speaker A: I've just been watching all of your stress rocket. [00:11:26] Speaker D: That's not in my character. That's me. [00:11:35] Speaker A: Oh, oh, oh. It's nothing. I'm nothing. What have you turned into? [00:11:42] Speaker D: I'm a great predator. I. I thought I was, but maybe I'm just nothing. [00:11:49] Speaker E: You're a great predator. Turn us Tim. [00:11:53] Speaker A: A great predator, eh? I. I thought I did. Maybe I didn't. Maybe I didn't. Right. So you are. You're currently a great predator? [00:12:07] Speaker D: Yes, yes, please. Okay, I'll. [00:12:11] Speaker A: You know what. [00:12:13] Speaker D: Oh, can you chuck it, chuck it into the chat or something, Dan, if you've got it handy, just for convenience. [00:12:20] Speaker A: Yes, I can in a sec. So what. What have I got? This is great predator shaped, You know. What is it a predator? Can we. Can we argue? It's a predator. I want to see it happen. You know? I want to see this happened. Did it work? Hold. [00:12:47] Speaker D: We'll never know. Well, never know while we figure out if it works. I want to intimidate this mammothaunt in front of us. Oh yeah, there we go. [00:13:06] Speaker A: What if you turned into a mammothaunt? [00:13:10] Speaker B: Quite nervous. Quite nervous. [00:13:12] Speaker A: It's a predator, right? It's got teeth [00:13:17] Speaker F: like. It's just like pointy. [00:13:21] Speaker A: I could. I could turn you into. Okay. I mean I could tell you what, why don't I turn you. [00:13:26] Speaker D: You snatch me? [00:13:27] Speaker B: Yeah. Snatcher. [00:13:29] Speaker A: I could turn you into a giant vault. [00:13:32] Speaker D: Oh yeah. Perfect. [00:13:33] Speaker A: Perfect. Okay, same. Flawless. [00:13:36] Speaker D: I wanna. I wanna try and intimidate the mammoth forms that running towards us so that they go the other way now that there's a much bigger wolf on this side. Sure, that's my hope. [00:13:50] Speaker A: So as an aside, the. The animal forms like the beast form forms are in the items tab. So that is the. The little briefcase icon in foundry. And you now be able to see them. Oh, I hope. [00:14:14] Speaker D: I don't think I can. [00:14:16] Speaker B: That's where my ass is. [00:14:18] Speaker A: Oh, I found it. Configure. Let's make you an owner. [00:14:22] Speaker D: So I think. I think it works. I've got like the right attacks and stuff. [00:14:26] Speaker A: Anyway. Okay, cool, cool, cool. [00:14:28] Speaker D: So I think we're all good. I just want to give them a good awoo. [00:14:34] Speaker E: Like who? All good boys do. [00:14:36] Speaker D: Indeed. [00:14:39] Speaker A: So you're awooing the. The mammothaunts? [00:14:46] Speaker D: Indeed. Which I guess. What's that like a presence? I mean they have an explicit woo ability. [00:14:58] Speaker A: No, I. I feel. I mean I. I could kind of argue it more being strength, you know, in the. In the. In the natural world of prey predators. [00:15:13] Speaker D: Any chance I can get a cheeky advantage given the situation? [00:15:17] Speaker A: I'll go on then. [00:15:19] Speaker D: Thanks Dan. [00:15:20] Speaker A: Go on. Okay, so as you turn into this six legged beastie and I can can show everyone exactly what you've turned into. Oh no, not. [00:15:39] Speaker B: I saw two Fours. I saw two fours. [00:15:41] Speaker D: Just bad. Bad. [00:15:43] Speaker B: Just bad. You. [00:15:45] Speaker E: You will have a rally dice if you want to use it. Rally dice? [00:15:53] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, I think I'll have to rally dice it. D8. [00:15:58] Speaker E: It is a D8. And you can also clear a stress or gain hope with it as well. [00:16:11] Speaker B: Oh, wait, wait. Okay, all right, wait. [00:16:15] Speaker D: Okay, all right. [00:16:18] Speaker B: The. [00:16:18] Speaker A: It's the thought that counts, you know. So what is that total? That's an 11 with hope. Yeah, I'm. I you. At least you get the hope, you know? Yeah, it's at least. At least you get the hope. Unfortunately. Yeah, unfortunately, the. The mammoth form is running towards you. It like. It try. It tries its best to. Okay, let's say this. It doesn't stop. It doesn't sort like about face, but it does veer out the way of you. So it doesn't collide with you. [00:17:00] Speaker D: It gets. [00:17:01] Speaker A: But yes, you like from where you are, you can now see that there are two other mammothaunt that sort of like charging towards. Like towards you. They are, you know, as I being harried by some other volk near. Where are we? Who's going next? Who wants to take the spotlight? Unless there's anything else you want to do because you have rolled. Oh, I suppose it's foul. Okay, so as the. As the maliforn runs past you, I will go ahead and spend a fear and you hear a howl from behind you. Maybe emboldened by the seeming pack leader, another pack of voltmeer run up from behind you. But yeah, you can hear as they run towards you, you can hear the sounds of the cracking ice underneath this sort of like time locked mammoth form getting louder. So that is. Yeah. Who wants to go after Guardi? Why is Griffin not in? [00:18:17] Speaker E: Yeah, I was gonna say I'm not there. [00:18:19] Speaker A: Why is Griffin. [00:18:20] Speaker B: Well, you're not. [00:18:21] Speaker A: You've done enough. [00:18:25] Speaker B: Yeah, I can see you. You're on screen. [00:18:27] Speaker E: No, I'm not. I'm not in the character list. [00:18:29] Speaker A: There you go. [00:18:30] Speaker E: Okay, there I am. I wasn't in the character list, so I can't say. Can I have a go? [00:18:34] Speaker A: Oh, well, it sounds like Nate wants to go, so. What does? I don't want to go. What does Griffin do? He's just putting so forward bums. [00:18:44] Speaker B: You're driving now. [00:18:45] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm driving now. I kind of want to save this snatcher that's over the other side. [00:18:56] Speaker A: Sure, sure. [00:18:59] Speaker E: I'm going to. No, that's not going to work. There must be something else I can do to fireball now. [00:19:19] Speaker A: That'll do it. [00:19:20] Speaker E: That'll do it. Please someone else go. Because I really don't have an idea [00:19:27] Speaker B: of what I can do. [00:19:28] Speaker A: Remember, use your hands up in the character things. [00:19:31] Speaker F: Cass has still has blink out and she's got flight. Neither of those good for saving Snatchers, but they are good for saving friends. If anyone needs to be saved from a Snatcher. [00:19:43] Speaker B: Snatchers are friends. [00:19:45] Speaker F: Are friends, but they, they are large and they, they cannot consent to being bleached. I don't think. [00:19:54] Speaker C: Can I just double check? Basically we need to get hold of this Snatcher so we can continue going up. [00:20:01] Speaker A: Yes. So you are currently you're moving from sort of like south to north along this map. There was a happily trolloping herd of mammothaunt coming in your direction and they ceased to happily troll up and are now unhappily yomping towards you. Because there are a number like an upsetting number of six legged beasties that are currently trying to chase them down. But then also you might need to get a wriggle on given that the floor underneath your feet is very quickly beginning to crack and break. [00:20:38] Speaker C: In that case, I might as cooper look to Abe and be like, could you throw me over there? Could you? I could try and get the Snatcher out the way. Could you throw me? And that'll be my request for a tag team to. [00:20:52] Speaker B: To throw you. [00:20:53] Speaker C: To throw me onto the snare so I can try and get on it and get it out of the way before it gets hit and we can pick up the girls and go up. [00:21:05] Speaker B: How far? How far am I throwing? [00:21:08] Speaker C: How far is how far? I mean, it's. AP's gonna have good. [00:21:12] Speaker E: It's probably like far. I don't know. [00:21:14] Speaker A: It's close to them. I'm not sure. I'm not sure you can throw a six foot tall dragon scent. [00:21:23] Speaker B: No. [00:21:23] Speaker A: Close. [00:21:24] Speaker B: No. He's. He's a little rat boy. He's only like 6 foot tall. [00:21:29] Speaker A: Established on many occasions. [00:21:33] Speaker D: He's very skinny. [00:21:34] Speaker B: He's a little guy. I have a big guy. [00:21:38] Speaker A: If, if any of us could pick up a four foot person and throw them about 30ft, then I would allow it. But I feel we could not. [00:21:47] Speaker C: The fantasy dance. Fantasy God sake. [00:21:50] Speaker A: I will, I will meet you halfway and say if you get within very close you can launch Koopa. Or if you use the large giant vulpir in the middle as a. [00:22:04] Speaker C: As a trampoline hulk. Yeah, I could just agitately hop on and then not do the tag team and save that for later. If I die Then jump on. [00:22:16] Speaker B: Jump on Guardi. Jump on smajer. Yeah. [00:22:19] Speaker C: Okay. I can give that a go. [00:22:22] Speaker A: Okay. [00:22:24] Speaker C: I think. [00:22:25] Speaker A: Okay. So, yeah, you. You could absolutely leave. I think you could absolutely leak because it's only, like, very, very close range to Vulpier Guardi. And then Guardi. Guardi is basically next to this frozen in spot, like snatcher that's making a sound like a. A. A. Like a beautiful. A breakless freighter ship. So, yeah, agility. Agility's hop to Guardi, and then you can just, like, hop onto the snajer. That's absolutely fine. [00:23:05] Speaker D: Yeah, I exist, right? [00:23:10] Speaker A: You. If you want to assist Guardi, that will spend hope, and then Cooper will get advantage. [00:23:15] Speaker D: Yeah, I would like to do that, please. [00:23:18] Speaker A: Okay. [00:23:19] Speaker C: Okay. [00:23:20] Speaker D: Following you up there a little bit. [00:23:22] Speaker C: Nice agility with advantage then. So let's roll. [00:23:28] Speaker E: Oh, it's a crit. [00:23:30] Speaker C: Oh, okay. [00:23:35] Speaker A: So, Cooper, you absolutely ace this. As you like, Abe, as you kind of maneuver the snadra to give, like, the back end, like a big bomb swing that gives Cooper enough kind of velocity, momentum to kind of clear the gap past the front of you. Griffin, on your snatcher. And then you land. How, like, do you land on Guardi? Are you positioning for Cooper to land on your back, or are you sort of like grabbing. Grabbing his leg by, like, your mouth and then flicking him on? [00:24:09] Speaker D: Depends what he's trying to do. I think. I think probably. I think just like. Like I think I'm doing. I'm like shoulder rolling you across so you keep your momentum up. [00:24:19] Speaker A: Okay. In which case we watch then as Cooper flings from Snaja to Guardi. Oh, no. Now you're stuck. Help. There you go. Old right. Cooper to Guardi, and then from Guardi onto. Why are you. Why are you being annoying? Onto the other snatcher. Right. I'll figure that out in a sec. Feel like my keyboard's not working. So you. You've successfully done that, Cooper, you gain a hope if you haven't already taken it. And play stays with you as Cooper lands. Cooper, do you want to carry on or do you want to pass it over to Griffin, who would like to step in? [00:25:16] Speaker C: Well, all I was going to do was get the snatcher out of way. Okay. Like, so, like, just bring the snatcher towards the group. So at least then we're in a group. So whatever we plan to do next, we're doing as a group. [00:25:29] Speaker A: Sure. What ability are you thinking of using for that? [00:25:33] Speaker C: I guess I'm obviously. I've got onto the sledger as the driver. So I'm just going to try and coax. Coax the sledger as much as possible to as I like drive it. So I guess it'll be a maybe a presence check. [00:25:49] Speaker A: Okay, sure. [00:25:50] Speaker B: Right. [00:25:51] Speaker A: Yeah, that sounds about right. Roll me. Roll me a presence. [00:25:54] Speaker C: Okay. Stand with presence. I would like to ask for my rally dice, please, just in case. [00:26:07] Speaker E: Yes, go for it. [00:26:08] Speaker C: So that's D8, right? [00:26:11] Speaker E: D8, yes. And you can take a hope and. Or remove a stress if you want to with that as well. [00:26:16] Speaker C: Okay, we'll take a hope. Doing so well with these D8. I'm so sorry, but I will take a hype with that. So if we continue here for next time. [00:26:29] Speaker A: Okay. [00:26:34] Speaker E: No one can hear Griffin's songs over just the absolute, absolute bombardment of hooves [00:26:40] Speaker A: for honking like shovel. There we go. I've got it. I've got you on there. Right, so you have rolled a 12 with fear, unfortunately. Okay, so, Cooper, you land and you try to sort of like, pull this snatcher, but this, if we. If you mouse over the snare, you will see that is a very appropriately named the intimidating snatcher, as it's currently sandwiched between one, like, to be fair, d like one mammothant that's kind of veered off to its right. There's a huge vault here to its. To the. The snatches, right? And there's yipping and barking coming from behind. And yeah, this badger has just like all four paws have gone out, and it's just it you cooper as you land, you can feel it trying to retract its head back into its shell. [00:27:40] Speaker C: No, no, no. [00:27:41] Speaker B: Not good. Not good plan. [00:27:42] Speaker A: Not good plan at all. And as that happens, as that was a failed roll, I will this mammothaunt on the other side of the rock from Cassandra and Coraline. It lets out this sort of, like, bellow as it desperately tries to flee the the vulpir from behind it. And it will mark a stress. I think that's the least of its worries. And it collides with the rock that the two of you are on. So, Cass, I'm gonna need a. An agility check, please. [00:28:30] Speaker B: Cool. [00:28:32] Speaker F: I can do that for you. Oh, I have as one second. I have something for that. I think I have advantage on agility roles that involve balancing and climbing. [00:28:45] Speaker A: Okay, okay, okay. [00:28:48] Speaker F: Naturally nimble. [00:28:50] Speaker A: So if you pop that on Coraline will roll against the memphorance difficulty. Oh, Coraline rocks it. [00:29:01] Speaker E: What? [00:29:01] Speaker F: A woman cast does not rock it. I don't think. [00:29:04] Speaker A: No, no. 11 will not do it. Would you like to spend your rally die? [00:29:10] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:29:11] Speaker F: Yes, please. [00:29:12] Speaker E: Would you like to roll a one and get. [00:29:16] Speaker F: So remind me which one my rally dia is. My. All of my dice are covered by. Oh, wait, I'm getting this. [00:29:26] Speaker B: I'm. [00:29:26] Speaker F: I'm getting it. I've done it. [00:29:27] Speaker B: Don't worry. [00:29:30] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:29:31] Speaker A: Oh, we're going up, baby. We're going up. That's. That's double the effectiveness. Okay. In which case, Cass, as you like, the. The rock that you're under shakes under the weight of this manifold colliding with it, and, like, Coraline manages to sort of, like, spin on her heel and grab purchase, and she, like, reaches out towards you, but, like, your hands just miss as you teeter and tumble backwards. I will allow Abe a. An agility role. [00:30:11] Speaker F: Can I cast fly in that case? [00:30:14] Speaker A: You can. Yes. [00:30:15] Speaker B: Prefer to fly than let Abe catch. I will fly. [00:30:22] Speaker D: Abe's just there. [00:30:22] Speaker A: Like, she'll get here one day. Gotta come down sometimes. Yes, you can absolutely cast fly if you so wish. [00:30:38] Speaker F: I'll just make sure that I need to do for that. [00:30:41] Speaker A: I mean, if it. Unless it's. It requires, like, a roll of sorts, in which case it might be a bit. [00:30:49] Speaker F: I'm trying to find my. Oh, there they are. How do I. How do I see what I need to do for these? [00:30:54] Speaker A: If you hover over it, it should. Should tell you. Oh, yeah. So it's. Make a special spellcast roll. [00:31:01] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:31:01] Speaker B: So that's. [00:31:02] Speaker F: That's a note. I'm into Abe's arms. [00:31:04] Speaker A: Okay. Well, hopefully. Abe, I need you to make a. Need you to make an agility roll, Abe. More importantly, Cass needs you to make an agility roll. [00:31:12] Speaker B: Agility? [00:31:14] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:31:14] Speaker B: Not strength. [00:31:16] Speaker A: No. [00:31:18] Speaker B: But what about presence? How inviting my arms are? They're very inviting [00:31:29] Speaker F: and just a little bit fluffy. [00:31:32] Speaker B: Like, comfy. Kind of strong. You feel kind of secure in them. [00:31:37] Speaker A: Tell you what. Cass can feel how strong and fluffy your arms are if you successfully pass an agility check to make sure they're in the right place. Okay. [00:31:48] Speaker B: Okay, fine. Can I use an experience? [00:31:58] Speaker A: Yes. [00:32:00] Speaker B: Can I use the experience of no man is an island as I am actually helping somebody that isn't myself? [00:32:08] Speaker A: Sure. No, I'm. I'm on board with that. Absolutely. [00:32:11] Speaker B: Okay. Oh, for Pete's sake. We are rolling like absolute butts. [00:32:22] Speaker A: Do you want to use your. The good news, Nate, is none of us will have to remember. Well, we get there. None of us will have to remember if we've used our rally dice or not. [00:32:39] Speaker B: Yeah. 14. [00:32:42] Speaker A: Okay. [00:32:42] Speaker B: 11, 12, 13, 14. [00:32:46] Speaker D: On the D8. We've done a 1, a 2 and a 3. [00:32:52] Speaker A: Unfortunately, as you go to reach out for. For Cass, she. The angle is such that she slips away the wrong way. And I will on a 11 with. Sorry, it's 11 with fear. [00:33:11] Speaker B: No, it's more than that. [00:33:13] Speaker E: Oh, it's a 14 now. [00:33:14] Speaker A: 14 with fear. 14 with fear and a 13 without. Okay. So Cass, I will say off the back of your fail with hope as you've fallen the other mammothaunt that's like trying to squeeze through. You've managed to twist your body in such a way that Abe like as you fall away, Abe is unable to catch you, which would be the preferable outcome. You do however end up latched, fundamentally latched onto the tusk of one of the mammothaunts. [00:33:47] Speaker F: I'm feeling so dignified right now, Dan. [00:33:50] Speaker A: Oh, you're welcome. You're welcome. So I'm gonna put you. So yeah, you are nestled in the scoop of the mammothaunt stuff in its teeth. Just. Yeah. As they carry on kind of charging through. Griffin, we will get to you. But we. [00:34:14] Speaker F: I might be waiting. [00:34:17] Speaker A: So actually cuz these were all reactions, weren't they? So. Okay, that's the end of my turn. So now Griffin, hello. What do you do? [00:34:27] Speaker E: I am going to seeing what Guardi's doing. Griffin is going to cast illusion. So I'm guessing these wolfie creatures are around about the same size as us. Pretty much, yes, obviously. [00:34:41] Speaker A: Besides from Gardi. So these six legged Vulpir are like small horse. Like they're big, they're too big for wolves, but they're almost like small horse sized. [00:34:55] Speaker E: Okay. [00:34:57] Speaker A: Like you've seen six of them already take down a mammothor form. [00:35:01] Speaker E: Right. [00:35:01] Speaker A: Like claw it down off in the background. But okay. [00:35:06] Speaker E: Because I, I can create an illusion but it's has to be like the same size as me. [00:35:14] Speaker A: I see. [00:35:16] Speaker E: So I've got to do a spell check. [00:35:20] Speaker F: If you want to do a team, like a team up, I can also do that. And we can make, we can make an illusion that is the size of two people [00:35:31] Speaker B: just in a, in a trench coat. [00:35:35] Speaker A: Two wolves in a trench coat. [00:35:42] Speaker D: Sure. [00:35:43] Speaker E: I mean can you see what I'm doing while you're hanging from it? [00:35:49] Speaker A: Well, I think so, currently. [00:35:50] Speaker E: Hang on. [00:35:51] Speaker A: Let's, let's. This is quite undignified, Cass. But yeah, you're, you're kind of like rattling around in this spoon like scoop of a, a shovel shaped tusk and like you're bouncing up and down as this mammothor sort of like running around, sort of like waving its heads to try and kind of bat away any vulpir that are kind of coming around to the side. But yeah, you couldn't. I, I suspect that as the mammoths kind of filter past you, you could probably. Yeah, you'd definitely be able to see kind of griffin like off to your right. Yeah. As you're, as you, as this mammothant squeezes through this little funnel here. [00:36:37] Speaker E: Okay. So my, my idea is to create another one of these wolfie things to sort of scare away the one that's kind of almost very close to Cooper. [00:36:49] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. [00:36:50] Speaker E: In case it starts coming back the other way. Let's do, let's do a illusion. I'm also going to use my I've got your back experience. [00:37:06] Speaker A: Okay. And so yeah, if one of you wants to spend three hope if you're tag teaming this, right? [00:37:13] Speaker E: Yeah, I can spend three hope if you want to. [00:37:16] Speaker A: So Cass, I assume you're using minor illusion. [00:37:19] Speaker F: Yep. [00:37:20] Speaker A: Okay. So does minor illusion require a role of some description? [00:37:28] Speaker B: Yes. [00:37:29] Speaker A: Okay. In which case. Yeah, if you both roll your spell cast rolls for your respective illusions as Griffin has spent the hope, this will, will just take the highest result. So we've got 15 with hope, [00:37:45] Speaker E: 25 with fear. [00:37:46] Speaker A: Okay, which route do you want to use? [00:37:50] Speaker F: Well, 15 with Hope. I know it's a 10. So we both succeed regardless it's whether or not we want the fear or the hope. [00:37:58] Speaker A: I'm assuming you want the hope. [00:38:00] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, let's go with hope. Because stones are 14. [00:38:03] Speaker B: So. [00:38:03] Speaker A: Sure. So I was having a little read as this as well. You actually both gain hope. So Nate, if you just drop off to hope from your total nice. And then once. Okay, so what, what is this illusion that the two of you have cast? [00:38:24] Speaker E: Big dog. [00:38:26] Speaker A: Big dog. And where, where is it? Is it like to the left of Cooper? [00:38:33] Speaker E: Fundamentally I would say actually more to the left of Gardi. So then it looks like a pack is forming and hopefully to sort of get that, to get the, the shovel tusk further away. [00:38:46] Speaker A: Okay. So you're hoping that this shovel tusks will kind of go more in like this direction. [00:38:51] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:38:52] Speaker A: Okay, cool. Okay. So in which case you successfully cast this, this illusion, the mammoth form kind of veers off to the side and at it. You watch as it kind of goes, starts to go up the banks of the, of the river. But they are rather steep, rocky, kind of now slippy inclines. And you watch as this mammoth form goes up, tries to sort of like run along the side of it. Like, like when you see really cars kind of going along, not flat surfaces kind of sticking to the edge. And one of its giant feet slip out from under it. And you watch as with a trumpeting roar, it slips and crashes to the ground on top of a number of the vulpir. [00:39:47] Speaker B: Nice. [00:39:49] Speaker A: So two of them are squished under its massive bulk and this mammothorp collides like crashes to the frozen river's surface. However, I will spend a fear as the ground underneath it also cracks at its large heavy bulk. Very good. So this is. So it's still officially Griffin's turn. You've rolled with hope. Do you want to keep the spotlight or does anyone else? Do we want to pass on to Guardi? [00:40:32] Speaker E: I'm happy to pass on to Guardi. [00:40:34] Speaker A: Okay, go Guardi, go. [00:40:38] Speaker D: I'm going. Okay, so I'm gonna have a little sprint across and I want to do a sick leap and grab and try and pick Cass out from off the mammoth. [00:40:59] Speaker A: Okay. [00:41:00] Speaker D: With my slobbering jaws. [00:41:04] Speaker A: Amazing. Which, which ability are you using? [00:41:08] Speaker D: Would you take agility? [00:41:10] Speaker A: I will happily take an agility. Have you got any V esque abilities we can use? [00:41:18] Speaker D: I sure don't. So I'm just rolling the dice. [00:41:22] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. 19 with high. Okay, Cass, how in this moment, how do you feel as you see this enormous pack alpha leap through the air, mouth like, jaws open, like heading hurtling towards you. It kind of scrabbles into the scoop of the shovel tusk and then kind of picks you up. How are you, how are you feeling? This exact moment. [00:41:56] Speaker F: So Cass has never seen a pinball machine. They are yet to be invented, I imagine in the world of elsewhere. If she survives this, you may well have a new invention on ours. A unique sensation which she is not entirely pleased with. [00:42:18] Speaker A: Amazing. Okay, in which case, ideally, if possible, [00:42:24] Speaker D: I'd like to essentially like either bounce off the wall or the mammoth on to end up behind it with a cast. [00:42:35] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:42:37] Speaker A: Okay, so you are. Let's. Let's deposit a CAS and then I'm getting usage out of this, this mod, aren't I? Bam. Now mounted on Guardi. [00:42:51] Speaker D: Yeah, I'll just hook you up on my back and keep going. [00:42:54] Speaker A: Okay. At this point, Guardi, as you rescue Cass from the tusk of. Of the shovel tusk between the six of you, like Cooper Cooper and Griffin, you note that there is a bit of a straight line through these mammothants out sort of like to the river behind them and the ground underfoot. Like the cracks are growing bigger and bigger as like, as the weight of the mammoths, the mammothaunts increases, you know that you can make a beeline for it. The only person you'd need. The only things we need to sort out are Cooper, getting your snatcher in line. And also, Abe, you'll probably need to catch Coraline if she leaps onto the back of your. [00:43:43] Speaker B: I'm doing great at catching people at the moment, so. [00:43:45] Speaker A: So, well, if you're. If you're. Because you're currently in the pilot, like the. The pilot seat of your mammoth, of your stager, are you happy for Coraline to hit, leap down? [00:43:56] Speaker B: Yeah, if she would like. [00:43:58] Speaker C: Boom. [00:43:58] Speaker A: Okay. So Coraline effortlessly kind of slip, jumps down and kind of slips straight into the saddle that Cooper was in. I think we should jump to Cooper to see how we, like, see if we can get your Snatcher to cooperate. [00:44:15] Speaker C: Yeah. I was wondering if maybe I have like, some like, a snack in my bag just to kind of tempt the Snatcher to listen to me. Like, just some, like. I'm like. Like, just like. Come on. Like, I think like the whole time this is going. And he's like, come on, lad, come up. [00:44:31] Speaker B: We need to go. [00:44:31] Speaker C: We need to go. Please don't. Please don't go into your shell. Come on. Takes out, like, I'm weird, sort of like jerky from the village. [00:44:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:44:39] Speaker C: That he's been given. [00:44:40] Speaker A: Okay. I will say in exchange for a stress, because when you're. When you're desperately looking for something in your bag, it's all. It's never. It's never easy to find. Right. Like, it's always a bit stressful. But in. In exchange for a stress, I will give you advantage on your next role to coerce. To coax this Snatcher into action. Because, I mean, this Snatcher seems, you know, it's just stood here and everything's just falling around, falling over, around it. So maybe it's fine. [00:45:09] Speaker C: Yeah, maybe so. Yeah. I'll. If I like, try and give him like, some sort of jerky or something to be like, come on, listen to me. Come on. Come on. Trying to get it to move. So I'll roll with presents. Okay. And I'll also, because it feels relevant, Lucky Devil, which is one of my experiences. Experiences and use a hope. [00:45:31] Speaker A: Okay. [00:45:31] Speaker C: We like, if this go. This is. This is a lucky shot. So, yeah, that'd be a presence with advantage plus three for Lucky Devil. So let's see if I can. [00:45:47] Speaker A: Cool [00:45:50] Speaker B: as well. [00:45:52] Speaker C: So hopefully. [00:45:57] Speaker E: Nice, nice, nice. [00:46:00] Speaker A: Okay. Very good. Yes, you absolutely. What. What is it that you've reached that you. You've pulled out a bit of some sort of jerky. Okay. [00:46:08] Speaker C: Like means a snatches. I assume they're like herbivores or are they carnivores? I don't. I don't actually know what. [00:46:16] Speaker A: Probably cannibals. Yeah, [00:46:21] Speaker C: sure. Let's go. [00:46:21] Speaker A: Maybe Snyder escargot. [00:46:27] Speaker C: Well, it's some sort of jerky that we're given by the keepers. Oh, they really like this. It's like, come on, do what I say. You're gonna get. They're gonna get the jerky. Really haven't got a lot of time for this. [00:46:38] Speaker B: Go on. [00:46:39] Speaker A: Sure. Okay. In which case, yeah. Your snare is spurred into action and along with the rest of you. As I say, if you want to like beeline through like Griffin and Cooper, you'll be able to navigate your snatchers through this kind of gap between the time locked Mammothant and this rock. Followed by Abe and Coraline and then Guardian Cass. You can kind of swoop around the sides and make your way up further up the river. Are you all happy to. [00:47:12] Speaker B: Yeah, let's do that now. [00:47:14] Speaker A: Okay, let's go. In which case, as the. As the six of you kind of break away from this ruckus like Griffin and Coop, Griffin, Cooper and Abe. As your snatches are kind of squeezing through that gap between the manform and the rock formation, Abe is as your snatch is going that like the ice cracks behind you and the snare like tips backwards for a moment and then scrabbles to get back up onto level surface. And as you go, like as the three of you go, you can hear the sounds of the cracking getting louder and louder as large chunks of the river's surface start to break away and kind of bob. And you watch as the two. Two of the down. The two down mammoth forms just like the ice cracks underneath them and they slowly slide into the water surface. You hear the yelps of the. The vulpir as they kind of scatter to try and kind of respectively save themselves. And as the river starts to crack, you notice that a number of the mammothaun like skid to a stop. One tips into the river as well. And then the. The remaining mammothort, of which there's still a fair number, slowly sort of like turn around and then began running in the same direction as the. The six of you as you carry on up this river. And before. [00:48:43] Speaker E: Can I just. Can I undo my time lock? So at least it's got like an opportunity to. [00:48:50] Speaker A: Sure. [00:48:51] Speaker D: He's just gonna Wiley Coyote. [00:48:57] Speaker A: In which case. Yeah. As the. As the six of you are running, like, up the river away from the cracking ice. Who's. I'm trying to think. So who would be near the back? I think it would be Abe and Coraline. You're sort of like, more towards the back of the group. And. Yeah, you can hear the sounds of the cracking ice keep coming. So how. I'm just rearranging this. So Gardy Guardi is a big dog. Okay. So. [00:49:41] Speaker D: Damn right. [00:49:44] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. So let me just. If I do that. So. Right. How old? Everyone's gotten on different. Different mounts. [00:50:00] Speaker B: Just like to make things a little bit more exciting. [00:50:04] Speaker A: So Guard is on, too. Stress needs to remember that. Did you evolve your thing or did you just go raw? Tier three. [00:50:11] Speaker D: I'm evolved. Fragility. [00:50:14] Speaker A: Okay. I can't. Why can't I turn? Oh, this is annoying. Okay. So you are. Let me just pull you all in. Apologies. Foundry is having a funny five minutes as it is. Want to do. Okay. Beg my pardon? Right. So as you continue running up the river, We find the three of you, or the six of you across your Snatchers and Guardi. So Cooper's on this one here. Griffin's probably in the lead now, [00:51:33] Speaker C: Whilst [00:51:34] Speaker A: you're kind of being chaperoned somewhat by GI in his giant wolf form, Which is not letting me update your image. So. Well, we'll. We'll use our. We'll use our imaginations. Yes. As the. As the six of you are running up this. This river. Oh, sorry. Foundry's had enough of you all. It's just. Kit locked me out. [00:52:11] Speaker B: What is this? [00:52:12] Speaker A: You're asking me today? Foundry has had enough of your shenanigans. Why won't you let me in? Help. Oh, no. We're making sure it's you. Thanks, Windows. [00:52:36] Speaker B: What? I've made something. What have I made? [00:52:40] Speaker E: Livy is the GM now. [00:52:43] Speaker B: I'm making things. Oh, no. I'm the leader. There's a big purple explosion. [00:52:49] Speaker D: There was some sort of riddle, like. I'm making something. [00:52:57] Speaker B: I don't know what that is. Go away. [00:53:02] Speaker A: Oh, it's gone now. It's fine. You fixed it. No, wait, it's still there. It's not fixed. All right, I've got it. Right. I'm back in the. Back in the driver's seat. Right. Can I now change Gardi into a massive honking wolf prototype? Yes. Yes. I'm in. I'm in. The joys of live streaming. You are me PC. A beast form. [00:53:33] Speaker E: The joys of live streaming. [00:53:35] Speaker C: Folks. [00:53:35] Speaker A: The choice of live streaming tokens. Lightning fast. Right you are. Three by three. Boom, boom, boom. That didn't update. Why didn't update? Okay, okay. [00:53:54] Speaker D: Then we all know. [00:53:55] Speaker B: You know. We know European. [00:53:56] Speaker A: Who wants to go first? Give me enough. [00:53:59] Speaker B: Well, we just. We just. This is fine, isn't it? [00:54:02] Speaker E: We're just having a nice little stroll with our new friends now. [00:54:05] Speaker D: This seems acceptable. [00:54:07] Speaker B: We just make our way all the way like this. [00:54:10] Speaker F: Nothing bad happened. [00:54:11] Speaker D: We are a mouthful. Now. [00:54:13] Speaker A: If you are all of this assumption I will spend fear and you all die. 3. One of the packs of Volpe launch forward. Music stop. Yes. One of the pact of Vulpir spring forward and launch themselves at the Mammothant. There is sounds of trumpeting from the mammothor as it thrashes against the bites and nips on its back feet. And Mammothant surges forward to begin to. To threaten to collide with Abe and Coraline's snajer from behind. Abe, I'm gonna need a reaction check of some description to like overcome this charging mammothaunt. [00:55:19] Speaker B: Can we lock horns? [00:55:22] Speaker A: Yeah, but you could headbutt it if you want. But you are also driving the thing driving the snatcher. [00:55:29] Speaker B: Does Abe look like a man that looks where he's going when he's driving? [00:55:33] Speaker A: If he wants to do an emergency pass, like seat swap with Coraline. [00:55:39] Speaker B: Yeah, I think that's probably easiest thing. If Coraline takes the wheel. [00:55:45] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:55:45] Speaker B: He can deal with the mammothons. [00:55:48] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. Right. In which case you as you swap around. Yeah. This maniform is rushing towards you. So you can absolutely headbutt it if you so wish. [00:55:59] Speaker B: I want to. Well, let's try my. My newly fixed shield as a barricade in a hopes to kind of push it at least in another direction. So I'm going to lock shield to tusk. Okay, let's go for that. So that would be a strength. Strength check. [00:56:27] Speaker A: And I will also demonstrate or show everyone that as this happens, two clocks have emerged to join to. To track your escape. Your flight up the river. There is the cracking river that is threatening to sink you and submerge you in the sub subzero waters. And there is an escape clock. [00:56:54] Speaker B: I got a 14 with hope. [00:56:57] Speaker A: 14 with hope. Currently is not going to cut it, is there? You've used your rally dice now. [00:57:03] Speaker B: I've used my rally dice. I. [00:57:10] Speaker C: Got experience. [00:57:13] Speaker B: Not really. I mean, I have advantage on roles to traverse dangerous and navigate harsh environments, which I would argue this is a very harsh environment. [00:57:28] Speaker A: I would also argue you're no longer piloting this snatcher. [00:57:32] Speaker B: Yeah, but what is more harsh than a big thing coming at me? [00:57:43] Speaker A: Unfortunately, at least you get your Hope for a 14 is not. Will not cut it, I'm afraid. [00:57:49] Speaker B: No worries. [00:57:52] Speaker A: So if you notch up your hope total and your snatcher is. The mammothaunt collides with the snare. You and Coraline are kind of thrown off balance and the snatcher lets out this loud kind of snuffling sound. And as you look down, you notice that there is a large crack where the tusk has collided with the back of the snatcher. The snatcher has been kind of like scooted up a little, but you find yourself somewhat slowed down. So the cracking river beginning to catch up with you who were. [00:58:30] Speaker B: Whoa. [00:58:31] Speaker A: As it's a foul. I will then pack. I'll activate one of the pack of Volt near and they will begin to close to try and sort of like sneak between the charging mammothants as if they're trying to get between them to catch up with you all proper. Who would like to go next? In which case I will spend a fear. [00:59:02] Speaker B: I don't really know what the plan is like. I don't really know where we're meant to go. [00:59:07] Speaker A: Well, so currently the plan is to stay ahead of. So the river is cracking and the surface of the river is cracking along, like following behind you. If you are disrupted and kind of thrown about too much, you will risk being falling into the river. Whereas succeeding on thing like succeeding in getting away from this ruckus will allow you to escape from the river before you're swallowed by it. But yeah, I will. So another pack of Volpe, they kind of scoot off to the sides to the the edges of the river as they attempt to kind of advance up to flank. Flank you all. And yeah, you can see them with their kind of slightly glowing red eyes as they eye you. Are you menacingly from your left. Who would like to go next? [01:00:05] Speaker E: I would like to. I'm not going to time lock it this time, but I'm just wondering if it's. Yeah, the. The one that just sort of went up the butt of a Ben and Coraline snajer. I would like to cast mystic Tether to try and restrain it. [01:00:29] Speaker A: Okay. [01:00:31] Speaker E: That is so many books. Look at all my books. Mr. Tava. There we go. Do I have anything that I can roll along with it? I'll probably use another hope and I'll probably use that. I've got your back experience again. [01:00:49] Speaker A: Okay. [01:00:52] Speaker E: And a rule. [01:00:56] Speaker A: Tim, just real quick, I think. Can you delete your token? The Little ghosty face man. So I think. It doesn't think I'm an owner of it. [01:01:07] Speaker F: The free spirit, it can't be changed. [01:01:12] Speaker D: Not sure how I can delete it. I can move it, but I'm not sure how I would delete the token. [01:01:19] Speaker A: Okay, hold. If I say hang on your beast form. Right. So if I do that to turn it off. [01:01:31] Speaker E: Two guardies now. [01:01:35] Speaker D: Oh no, I'm multiplying. [01:01:37] Speaker A: Okay, tell you what, if you could just chuck your. The ghost face Guardi up into the top of the screen just so it's [01:01:43] Speaker B: out of the way. [01:01:46] Speaker A: Yeah, because for something. Yeah, that's weird. And then. Sorry, you need to retransform Guardi and then I can attach cast to you. [01:01:53] Speaker E: Okay, I'm. I got an eight with hope. So I'm gonna roll my rally dice as well. [01:02:00] Speaker A: Okay. [01:02:01] Speaker E: See. See where that gets us 5. So that is [01:02:10] Speaker B: 13. [01:02:11] Speaker E: 13 13. [01:02:13] Speaker A: Okay. Beg my pardon. Why is that not working? Okay, so sorry, what. What was it you're doing? Sorry, I'm trying to. Trying to finish the stream. I don't know why I'm weird. [01:02:31] Speaker E: So I'm trying. I'm trying to restrain the. The mammoth that went up, up against Abe. [01:02:40] Speaker A: Yes. [01:02:42] Speaker E: And I rolled a. I've rolled a 13 in total with hope. [01:02:46] Speaker B: Do you know what you're doing? Your spellcast roll. [01:02:49] Speaker E: Yeah, that would have been added to it. [01:02:50] Speaker B: So no, sorry. Do you know what the success. [01:02:53] Speaker E: I think it just says. It just says on a success. So I'm guessing it's against the difficulty of the creatures. [01:03:04] Speaker A: Okay. So yeah. As you go to kind of grab the. The mammothant, they're. They're kind of thrashing around in a panic a little bit too. Too much. And it doesn't like the. The magic doesn't take. [01:03:18] Speaker E: Can I do something? [01:03:19] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:03:20] Speaker E: Can I use my adaptability so when I fail on a roll that utilizes one of my experiences, I can mark a stress and reroll? [01:03:27] Speaker A: Oh yes, you absolutely can. Noise, noise, noise, noise. [01:03:32] Speaker E: So I'll still add the rally dice onto it if that's okay. [01:03:35] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:03:35] Speaker E: But I will re roll. Where is it? Which one is it? [01:03:40] Speaker B: Oh no. [01:03:40] Speaker E: So many books. What have I got [01:03:44] Speaker A: books? [01:03:45] Speaker E: That one mystic tether again. So it will still have. Would that still have the experience on it if I re roll it? [01:03:54] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. You're just rerolling the. The duality dice. [01:03:59] Speaker B: Cool. [01:04:01] Speaker E: I'll take off that then. That's a 19 affair. [01:04:10] Speaker A: Okay. A 19 with fear. Plus the five from your role. Yes, plus the two from my 24 in which case. So I will gain the fear from that. And you are right. So was it. It was a mystic tether is like the time lock, right? [01:04:28] Speaker E: No mystic tether just restrains. Restrains a creature rather than locks them in place. [01:04:33] Speaker A: Gotcha. Gotcha. Okay. In which case, as you tether down this mammoth form, what do your tethers look like? [01:04:42] Speaker E: They just. They just look like sort of red. Like red glowing rope in a way. [01:04:48] Speaker A: Okay. In which case these. Yeah. Red beams kind of emerge from the mammoth horn and lock it in place. And as it comes to this like sudden stop, you like, you hear what are almost the sound of like fleshy skittle sounds as the vulpir that are in full pursuit behind it, being on such a slippery surface, are unable to stop. And they collide with the. With the mammothant. And you hear it trumpeting as six let's what? It. It disappears as it's locked in place, kind of disappears behind the pack. And the. A number of the vulpir peel off to like slow down to kind of feast on it. But before they get a chance, the river catches up with this mammothor. And you watch as the beast like sinks into the river and the vulpir kind of peel away, not wanting to share such a. A chilly bath. And as they kind of yip and yap and return to carry on with the fight, that distraction has given you some reprieve. So a success with fear is one mark on the escape clock. [01:06:05] Speaker D: 3. [01:06:07] Speaker A: So who would like to go next? [01:06:11] Speaker B: I will go, but I'm not driving the thing. Can I always forget her name? [01:06:21] Speaker A: Coraline. [01:06:22] Speaker B: Coraline. Can Coraline make a right? Can I rally Coraline to make. Go for a. A speed ahead. [01:06:31] Speaker A: What. What would you like Coraline to do? And you fundamentally have access to her two. Experiences. Battle tactica and arcane manipulation. So she can spend a stress to add, you know, one of those two. [01:06:53] Speaker B: Yeah, I really just want her to just start moving. We just need to get moving. [01:07:03] Speaker A: Okay, we'll tell you what. If. If we're giving kind of Coraline a turn, she will spend the stress to give herself a plus two to her battle. Like using battle tactica as she looks at how these creatures are jumping around, she's gonna go ahead and roll. So she'll roll an agility. So that's plus two and then another two for battle Tactica. Nice. Boom. Okay, so she rolls a 23. So yeah, she is able to maneuver the snatcher and kind of gallop it. Gallop it ahead to help lead Griffin and Cooper on like a route through the manifolds and away. She doesn't roll with hope or fear. So that'll just be one, one success on the clock. Cooper. [01:08:04] Speaker C: Yeah, I, I, following on from that example, I want to try and get the Snatcher to as far away from the back as possible. Just trying to get forward. What should I roll for that? You tell me, I think, yeah, I, I, I mean, I'm still like riding the Snatcher, I guess by this point the Snatcher knows that he needs to go forward. So it's not like I'm convincing it. It's just handling it. So would that be charm or would that be control? Because that's finesse. Would be control. But then am I charming the snatcher at this point? Probably not, because he is moving. So I would argue finesse, which is my better. [01:08:46] Speaker A: I, I think, yeah, I think I can accept that. Your argument for finesse. [01:08:51] Speaker C: Okay, cool. I will roll with finesse then and hope that that works. Yeah, let's do that. Did that roll? I did not see it wrong. [01:09:10] Speaker A: That's a 14 with fear, unfortunately. [01:09:14] Speaker B: Can. How close, how close are you to me? [01:09:18] Speaker A: Pretty close. [01:09:19] Speaker B: Pretty close [01:09:21] Speaker A: close. In fact. [01:09:24] Speaker B: Are we close? I'm gonna spend 2 hope when an ally as a support tank. When an ally within close range fails a roll, you can spend two hope to allow them to re roll either their hope or their fear dice. [01:09:36] Speaker A: Okay, so Cooper, you can see that you have rolled a one and a nine. Would you like to re roll the [01:09:43] Speaker B: one reroll your hope. [01:09:46] Speaker D: That's pretty good. [01:09:47] Speaker C: So if you, I, if you can't see it for some reason. So what, I just roll a D12 and see what happens. [01:09:54] Speaker A: I can, I can re roll it for you if you, if you trust in the system. [01:09:58] Speaker C: Yeah, sure. [01:10:00] Speaker A: Okay. If you want to reroll. Yes. [01:10:02] Speaker C: Boom. Oh, no, I can't see it. So I'm assuming it's very bad. [01:10:09] Speaker B: You got another one. [01:10:11] Speaker C: Okay, that's great. [01:10:13] Speaker D: Very bad. Yeah. [01:10:14] Speaker A: Okay, so yes, your, your Snatcher has, it has evolved from an intimidated snatcher into an unamused snatcher. So yes, it like it's just kind of loping along. Far too much exertion activity. And Cooper, is you delicately trying to coerce, like lean to one side to get it to, to shift. It just kind of keeps on going in the same. It presumably it doesn't want to go and overtake the large vault here, but it's like following in the tailwind off. Yeah, that is unfortunately not going to do it. And the cracking river cracks, begins to Catch up a little more before we pass over to Guardi. I will activate some of the vulpier as they scoot on up and seeing your snatcher, that's starting to kind of lag behind a little bit. Cooper, the Vulpir begin descending. And in a flurry of vital claws, they attempt to bite at you as you're mounted on the snatcher. Currently your evasion is increased by two, but they roll a seven to hit, [01:11:41] Speaker C: which is under my evasion. [01:11:44] Speaker A: Okay. So yeah, you hear snaps and like chomps as these teeth try to bite at your feet as you kind of run along. Yeah, they. They're now training immediately behind you. But they are immediately behind you. What does Gardi want to do? [01:12:07] Speaker D: It's time to start fighting some wolves. [01:12:09] Speaker A: I think [01:12:12] Speaker D: given that they've. Can I. Can I sort of slip back to where the wolves are without. Yeah, too much of a ruckus. Cool. Yeah. [01:12:21] Speaker F: Am I also there? [01:12:23] Speaker A: You are currently on the back. You're being carried. You're doing. You're pulling a princess mononoke right now. [01:12:32] Speaker F: I've gained my dignity. [01:12:38] Speaker D: Yeah. I'm just gonna like, maul some wolves. [01:12:41] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [01:12:42] Speaker D: Beast attack. Go. [01:12:52] Speaker A: 15 height 15 with hope. [01:12:56] Speaker B: Something over 14 that might be. [01:12:58] Speaker A: It will not hit the vault near. Ah, no. [01:13:04] Speaker D: Oh, no. [01:13:06] Speaker A: In which case. Yeah. As you kind of snarl and bite and swing and snap the pack of vault, they kind of scoot around and kind of yipping. Yeah. Like they look at you that they kind of prance back somewhat confused as they're running along as that, like, you see their ears kind of go flat as they're wondering why this kind of large alpha like beast is attacking them. But then they begin to realize that something is perhaps. Well, actually you've rolled with hope, so they don't realize why you're attacking them. But they. They can power away from you slightly, but you're unable to deal any damage. So you take your hope and. And then in response, the pack from the. From the left hand side comes scooting on in pinch of movement. And as they. As they catch up, They will gnash and bite at Cooper's stagger. And they've rolled a 16 to hit. [01:14:24] Speaker C: Nope, it doesn't hit me. My evasion is 17 without being on. [01:14:31] Speaker A: Okay. In which case you. You pull your foot up as like six more Vulpir emerge from the. The rocks to your left. Oh, exciting. Okay, who would like to go next? [01:14:47] Speaker F: Concuss? [01:14:48] Speaker A: Yeah, absolutely. [01:14:51] Speaker F: So the. The wolf that just attacked Cooper. [01:14:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:14:56] Speaker B: Which one? [01:15:00] Speaker A: All of them. All of them, of course. [01:15:04] Speaker F: Cass would like to cast. Let me see if I've got it in my overload. My loadout. Yes. Chain lightning. [01:15:14] Speaker B: Yes. Zap them. [01:15:17] Speaker C: The wolves [01:15:20] Speaker F: mark two stressed to make a spell cast roll. Unleashing lightning on all targets within close. Close range. Am I within close range of these [01:15:28] Speaker A: creatures of both packs? [01:15:30] Speaker F: Yes. [01:15:31] Speaker A: Does is it just like with at [01:15:33] Speaker F: all targets within all targets within close range. [01:15:37] Speaker A: Okay, so you can choose. Are you choosing to zap a mama font? Do you want to zap the Mammothant as well or just the. Just the Vulpir? [01:15:47] Speaker F: Just the Vulpir. [01:15:48] Speaker A: Okay. [01:15:55] Speaker F: It did roll me around. Well, if not that one, then one that looked very similar did roll me around. [01:16:03] Speaker A: No. Amazing. You can absolutely target the Vulpir. It will. There's 12 of them within close range of you. [01:16:09] Speaker F: Cool. So targets you succeed against must make a reaction roll with a difficulty equal to result of your spellcast roll. Targets who fail take two D8 plus four magic damage. [01:16:22] Speaker A: Okay. So. So do you roll? Do you roll first and then I roll. [01:16:31] Speaker B: Yes. [01:16:32] Speaker F: So I have to make a spell cast roll. [01:16:33] Speaker A: Okay. Cool. Cool. Co. [01:16:47] Speaker F: I don't think that is it. [01:16:50] Speaker A: So an 11 with hope have is not gonna cut it at the moment. Have you got anything that allows you to re roll or add or. [01:17:02] Speaker F: I don't think I. Give me a second. Let me look at my. Got my bits. [01:17:12] Speaker D: I would have assisted before it. [01:17:18] Speaker A: Yeah. I don't think. [01:17:24] Speaker F: Sorry, I'm having trouble finding all of my bits. Where's my experiences? [01:17:29] Speaker A: They're beneath your so on under your portrait. Scroll down there. Tucked away under there. [01:17:35] Speaker F: That's the best one I was going to say would you cannot stop me. [01:17:41] Speaker A: Okay. [01:17:43] Speaker F: The ex. She's totally over. Just got attacked by a wolf. [01:17:45] Speaker B: She's very. [01:17:47] Speaker A: You want to spend a hope to retroactively put. You cannot stop me. And that'll take you up to a 13 with hope. Tim, if you want to retroactively spend a hope to give Cassandre advantage. [01:18:01] Speaker D: What if I made it into a tag team instead? [01:18:03] Speaker A: Or you make it into a tag [01:18:05] Speaker D: team and we do a like some sort of cool lightning attack. It's gonna be amazing. [01:18:13] Speaker F: Just. Just for the vibes. [01:18:17] Speaker A: Okay. So in which case. Yeah. God. If you spend your three hope [01:18:24] Speaker D: three this economy. All right. And then I do a duality role as well. [01:18:34] Speaker A: So what is it? Your hat? What. What are you bringing to the tag team? Are you nipping and clawing? [01:18:42] Speaker D: Yeah, I guess. I. I guess so. Just trying to make sure I get her in good range of Wolf electrocution. [01:18:50] Speaker A: Okay, so if you roll a an attack roll again, you can spend hope to boss with experiences or so so on and so forth. Also bear in mind everyone, I don't. I think I've turned off the hope tracking automation. So whenever you need to spend or gain hope, you might probably have to do that manually on your character sheets. The I think the hope's not been going down. [01:19:18] Speaker E: Fair enough. [01:19:20] Speaker B: Nice. [01:19:22] Speaker A: Okay, a 19 with hope. That is a success. So both of you can gain a hope back. If you're presumably going to use Guardi's 19 with hope and that hits both of the targets. So I will by all means roll your damage. Oh, so a 19 with hope. So now on cast lightning targets. You see the Anthony to make a reaction roll [01:19:52] Speaker F: the change damage chain damage. Oh wait, no. So yeah, you do the. [01:19:57] Speaker A: Okay, so now I do it. So now I do a reaction roll [01:20:02] Speaker F: with the equal result of your equal to the result of your spell cross roll. So what was the 19 equal to? 19. [01:20:09] Speaker A: 19. Okay, so the Volpe to like towards the bottom. Yeah, they failed. And the Volpe towards the top also fail. So they're both gonna take 2d8 plus 4 magic damage. And then Guardi, if you roll your damage and we add it all together. [01:20:35] Speaker D: Amazing. [01:20:44] Speaker A: Okay, so we've got 10 lightning damage from Cass. And. That roll. [01:20:58] Speaker D: Where did that go? Oh, 15. [01:21:02] Speaker A: 15. Okay, so as an aside, Cass, if you want to, you do have volatile magic. Let's just have a look at that. So you can spend three Hope to re roll any of your damage dice if you so wish. You rolled a 2 and a 4 as an [01:21:26] Speaker C: I might. [01:21:26] Speaker F: Yeah, one second, let me. I've got enough hope, so I might as well. So I just re roll the. The attack. [01:21:36] Speaker A: Yeah, that's it. So it's. Yeah. Three hope to volatile magic. So that'll drop you down to three, I believe. [01:21:44] Speaker F: Yeah. [01:21:45] Speaker A: Okay, so. Oh no. [01:21:49] Speaker B: Yeah, [01:21:51] Speaker A: it's a fort that counts. Okay, so you've rolled. So 7 plus 15 is 22. So yeah, Gardy, as you sort of like leap into the vulpier you like, your claws and fangs go flying. There's lightning blasts coming off casts on on your back as you slide under the the mammothaunt X attack the other group. A grand total of 22 damage is major damage to both hordes. So two of the or two Volpir from each pack are slain as the two of you kind of tear into them. And I will tick up the escape clock by two on the back of that success with Hope. [01:22:51] Speaker B: Nice. [01:22:52] Speaker A: Who would like to go next? [01:22:56] Speaker E: If no one has anything, I could go. [01:22:59] Speaker B: Yeah, go one. [01:23:01] Speaker E: How far is that group behind us? [01:23:04] Speaker A: What? The one trailing, right? [01:23:06] Speaker E: Trailing behind us. [01:23:07] Speaker A: They are realistically far. They were the ones that went to nibble on the tethered form before it took a dip. [01:23:18] Speaker E: I'm gonna cast fireball at them. [01:23:23] Speaker A: Don't get too excited. [01:23:26] Speaker D: He's excited to break it. [01:23:32] Speaker E: Let's see. Let's see what I got to do again. Fireball. I've got to cast a spellcaster role. It is that book. [01:23:45] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:23:45] Speaker E: Let's use one more experience. I'm going to use my knowledge of arcane magic to experience. [01:23:49] Speaker A: Okay, you can roll. [01:23:57] Speaker E: It's a 16 with hope. [01:24:04] Speaker A: Have you got anything? Have you got anything in the tank? [01:24:09] Speaker E: The only thing that I've got is my adaptability again where I can re roll. If I. If I failed this role because I rolled with an experience, I can re roll it by spending a stress. [01:24:19] Speaker A: The difficulty of these vaultmere packs is 17. [01:24:27] Speaker D: Do you have any. Do you have a rally dice still use it? No. [01:24:31] Speaker B: We've been rolling like absolute shits this evening. [01:24:35] Speaker E: I am just seeing if there is anything I can do. No, I think the only thing that I can do is to try and re roll again with an experience. [01:24:48] Speaker B: Go for it. Might as well. [01:24:50] Speaker E: Might as well [01:24:53] Speaker A: it. [01:24:53] Speaker B: You Might as well. [01:24:53] Speaker A: Please. I want to see a fireball actually go off. Got another hope. Can't do better than that. Okay, so yeah, as you. You see these V here and as you fling the fireball off into the. The distance, it ars backwards and it detonates blasting a hole in the ice sheet. But the Vulpir kind of bark and yip as they spread into two groups and kind of around the explosion and they come back together. One day, Nate. [01:25:33] Speaker E: One day. [01:25:34] Speaker A: One day. Who? It's me next. Okay, so that group, you know what that group is going to. They're going to move up, they're going to start closing distance. And as they. As they come along, I'm going to spend a fear. And the four that have just been. Well, some. One of the groups that has just been mauled by Guardian, Cass is now going to nip at Griffin and his snatcher. So Griffin, you get plus two to your evasion. It does a 17 hit. [01:26:29] Speaker E: If it's a plus two, it's gonna hit. [01:26:31] Speaker A: As in 17's with it. [01:26:35] Speaker E: Yeah, I've. That would make it 50. [01:26:37] Speaker A: Okay, 15 for me. Okay. In which case, as your. As your attention is focused on the. The Trajectory of the fireball, you are nipped for. 14 hit points. 14 damage. [01:26:57] Speaker E: Okay, so that's major damage. I'm going to spend an armor slot to make it a minor damage. [01:27:04] Speaker A: Okay. And [01:27:07] Speaker B: I keep making it. I don't know what that is. Put it over there. [01:27:18] Speaker A: So as the volk near kind of bite at you and Griffin, you're you. You're almost kind of pulled from your saddle slightly. Um, I will gain an additional fear and then spend that fear to tick up the cracking river clock as they kind of slow down your snatcher slightly. Who would like to go next? [01:27:48] Speaker C: I'll go. [01:27:49] Speaker B: Go. [01:27:50] Speaker A: Wants to go. [01:27:52] Speaker C: I'm just going to. You know, my snatch is not really moving, but at least she's moving forward. So I'm gonna try and shoot at the walls behind me. [01:28:03] Speaker A: Okay. [01:28:04] Speaker C: That's the best thing to do. So at least if they maybe stop attacking me, I can get the snatcher to go forward. So I'm gonna use my crossbow. I'm going to use excellent aim because I am very good at aiming at things, even on the back for Snatcher with no driver. It'll be fine. So we're going to do that and. Yeah, we're going to roll. [01:28:32] Speaker B: Oh, Jesus. [01:28:33] Speaker C: Roll badly. So, you know, again, what were you trying to do? Trying to shoot the walls behind me. [01:28:45] Speaker E: Would you like some sort of tag team possibly? [01:28:48] Speaker C: Yeah, that great. Because I need three more points, I think. [01:28:56] Speaker E: I don't know what I can do. Another fireball. Probably doing another fireball. Just roll. [01:29:06] Speaker A: Just go. [01:29:10] Speaker E: It's a 60 with hope. [01:29:12] Speaker A: Again. Again. [01:29:17] Speaker B: Wait, what your. What is that one? I mean, it's the last time. This is the last time I can do this. But I really want the fireball to work. So you can re roll either your hope or fear dice, and I will spend the last of my hopes. [01:29:37] Speaker E: What was the biggest one? Do we know? [01:29:39] Speaker B: Your hope was 12, but your fear was one. [01:29:42] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:29:42] Speaker B: Okay, we want to reroll your fear. [01:29:44] Speaker E: I'll re roll fair then. [01:29:46] Speaker A: So in the chat. So in chat, if you click where it says like, 16 with hope and then it's got the formula breakdown underneath. Yeah, you can click that and it opens up, shows you the dice. You can click on a dice, re roll it right. [01:29:58] Speaker E: I will re roll my fair. It's a nine. [01:30:02] Speaker B: Yes. Nice. Finally. [01:30:04] Speaker A: Okay, there we go. Easy 20. So that is a hope for both of you. So Griffin and Cooper can go up by one. And yeah, please roll the. Your crossbow damage and the fireball damage. [01:30:25] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:30:25] Speaker A: D20. Success. Hurla sphere. Within very close. Must make a reaction roll. Okay, so this pack at the back here, I'm gonna do a reaction roll. I'm gonna give him this advantage because it's on slippy, slippy ground. That's a five. They have failed. [01:30:49] Speaker D: Thank you. It's a disadvantage. [01:30:51] Speaker B: Yeah. Could have been a 20. [01:30:55] Speaker E: Okay, so I'll. I'll roll damage for the fireballs. [01:30:58] Speaker D: Okay. [01:31:06] Speaker A: 34. And then Cooper, if you roll your demage. So scrolling up, that is a 14. And sneak attack. Is that. Is it sneak attack? [01:31:19] Speaker C: Sneak attack count. Because technically they can see me and they're not in relay with anybody else. [01:31:23] Speaker A: This is true. Fair. That's fair. Okay, so 14 plus 34 is 48 points of damage. If you like long click on which group you were shooting. You shooting at? [01:31:36] Speaker C: Well, the ones behind me. So if Griffin. [01:31:39] Speaker A: Yeah, so I'll be okay. [01:31:42] Speaker E: In which case, I like to think that, like, Griffin has looked over at Cooper, seeing him shoot, and has actually tried to cast, like, some sort of spell to make his bolt speaker into fireballs. [01:31:54] Speaker C: Yes. [01:31:54] Speaker D: Okay. [01:31:55] Speaker A: Co is like, oh, my God, it's a flame front. Okay. 48 points of damage into the vault near pack into the vault near pack is, funnily enough, severe damage. So three of the v near are insane incinerated by the blast. But also that is severe damage to the mammoth form immediately behind you. And as you've rolled 24 with hope, it trumpets and sort of like veers off to the side and collides with the vault near the kind of trait coming up the middle. And on a successful with hope. That is two more segments on the clock. You are like with the mama fonts piling around. You're very close to being free. Who's taking the next turn? [01:33:02] Speaker B: Can. Can my little bald mage Coraline. [01:33:11] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:33:12] Speaker B: Can she make a roll for us so she can keep moving, please? And. Or I also have places with her and she can zap some people, not me. [01:33:20] Speaker A: Well, she will tell you what she lean. She looks over her shoulder and she shouts up to you. Sort of galloping along on this. On this snatcher. She. She yells to you, I'll bring you in close and you do your thing. She shouts. If you. So she'll spend. Rather than asking you to spend a hope, she will spend a stress and she will use her ensorceled weaponry to like, she gestures like she op. She puts a. An open palm towards you, and you see the gems on the back of her. Her hand kind of light up with a light blue and the blue flame enshrouds her fingers and then she kind of thrusts it towards you and it envelops your axe blade. She then pulls you in close on the snare to allow you to swing at the V here that are attacking [01:34:27] Speaker B: Griffin pulls me in close, eh? [01:34:30] Speaker A: Hell yes. [01:34:33] Speaker C: Material. [01:34:37] Speaker A: So you fundamentally on your next attack roll, you get an additional damage dice. [01:34:43] Speaker B: Fabulous. I would like to hit please. Oh wait. What? I've got a weird code. Which one is. If I press my. My new reliable. I've either got attack or. [01:35:04] Speaker A: Yeah, it's just the attack. [01:35:05] Speaker B: It's just the attack. [01:35:06] Speaker E: Don't worry about. [01:35:08] Speaker B: Don't worry about the. So I just roll as is. No need to correct? Yes, yes. No advantage. Okay. [01:35:18] Speaker A: That's an 1818 with fear, but that's still enough to hit. So that is a hit. So if you roll your damage and then roll an additional D8 I think it is on your damage dice. [01:35:36] Speaker B: Oh, I can just put a bardic rally as a D8. Can I just do that and then that will add it in. [01:35:40] Speaker A: Yeah, I do. Okay. 21. So as you swing so what how. Well your. Your axe blade, that's been the. The edge of it which has been kind of overlaid with this white marble to. To sharpen it as you swing. 21 damage is major damage. So you cut down two of the vulp here as they go to kind of bite it a griffin and that's enough that they like through the yipping they begin to sort of like pull away. And a success with fear is one more success. And the three of the six of you are able to. As confusion reigns amongst the Volpe and the mammoth. The mammoth. As Cooper Cooper frantically joins the group. Yes. You manage to kind of pull ahead of the remaining mammothant and event like after a, you know, after a length, a relatively lengthy sprint, the. The trace is left behind you and you're. You find a part of the. The site like Coraline points out that the side of the river the bank is shallow enough that you're able to get off the river and then back onto actual genuine solid ground. And as you successfully escape from the river. Let's go for a quick break. [01:37:26] Speaker E: Yay. [01:37:27] Speaker B: We did it. [01:37:28] Speaker A: We did it. [01:37:29] Speaker B: After a lot of podging of [01:37:34] Speaker A: we will be back in 10 minutes. So yes, we're gonna. I'm gonna give Foundry a stern talking to and then I assume you five are gonna give your dice a stir talking too. [01:37:44] Speaker B: Yes. [01:37:45] Speaker A: And yeah, we will pick up after the fact. Right. See you in ten. Hello and welcome back world to explorers of Elsewhere live. Hi, My name is D.M. dan and I am rejoined by mate, Livy, Georgia, Theo and Tim. Hello. Hello. Hello. [01:38:07] Speaker E: Hello. [01:38:08] Speaker A: Hello. We had a flawless flight up up river. [01:38:19] Speaker B: Winners. Absolutely winners. [01:38:21] Speaker A: Absolutely. A lot of us, yes. But yes, we, we rejoin the six of you included, Coraline, having like, you've made your way away from the. The not as frozen as you would have liked, frozen river. And yeah, we return to you a little bit further along in your journey, but in a bit of a more Of a. A more peaceful moment, such as it is. Hello to everyone who's rejoined us. Yeah. If you haven't already, give this video a like. If you want to see more Daghart stuff, subscribe on YouTube, follow on Twitch and join our YouTube for more Explorers of elsewhere. Goodness. But diving straight in, we as say we find you a little while after the excitement of the. The river. The river chase, and as you have sort of like ventured further inland, but we're further towards Pfizer's lair. We find the five of you sort of like moving through a terrain that is clearly not as it once was. The closer, seemingly the closer you get to Fizer's lair, the more the environment seems to have radically changed, like transformed, transmutated into a. An almost an oppressive, icy, snowy climate. The. The wind that buffets you now kind of cuts through to the bone and you find yourselves having to swaddle and kind of keep yourselves compact to shield yourselves from the worst of the sudden drop in temperature. There are flurries of snow that kind of fly past you and kind of depriving you of spatial awareness for the moments that you're within it before it kind of passes by. And. But despite all of this transformation, there is a certain innate beauty of seeing the. The sun kind of gleaming off this world of freshly frozen landscape. So as you kind of descend into this strange, kind of strange location, a strange kind of biome. Let's start with Griffin pulling out the tricks from last week. What bit, like, what part of the journey catches Griffin's attention the most? What, what kind of, what, what point of interest or phenomena takes Griffin's notice the most? [01:41:50] Speaker E: I think Griffin's gonna notice like, like an erosion into some caves, like an erosion into some of the. The sort of like mountain wall. And see these really long icicles of various sizes sort of coming down from the. The sort of top of these, like, of these, like these small caves. And as the wind sort of blows through them, they're almost making sort of like a twinkling, tinkling sound that he he sort of listens to intently and hums along with and sort of tries to play and play along on his concertina. [01:42:41] Speaker A: Okay, Livy, what catches Abe's attention on this leg, on this next leg of the journey? [01:42:59] Speaker B: I think. Yeah, I think as he looks out, he can see that obviously, because it's a lot of flash freezing. There's a sort of mirror sort of illusion as a sort of pool of water or something has flash frozen onto black ice. And now it's sort of directly made a mirror image of the sky above. So it looks like you're, like, looking down into the sky. [01:43:34] Speaker C: Okay. [01:43:36] Speaker A: Amazing, Amazing. So it kind of gives you the impression that you're almost like walking through the cloud, like through the blizzard clouds overhead. [01:43:47] Speaker B: Yeah, it's like a perfect mirror image. [01:43:52] Speaker A: Okay, I'm gonna ricochet down to Tim. What takes G's. Not. [01:44:03] Speaker D: The horizon, just far enough that we can't quite pick out exactly what they are. There is a massive flock of small flying creatures. Almost like when you see starlings in those gigantic flocks that are swarming around something at ground level. [01:44:27] Speaker A: Okay. [01:44:29] Speaker D: Kind of the occasional chattering noise coming across to us on the wind. [01:44:34] Speaker A: Okay. So a massive flock of flying creatures swarming. Interesting. Interesting. Cassandra, what. What peaks Cassandra's notice? [01:44:48] Speaker F: I think it's kind of just to sort of the side of us much as what we saw. Cunning here. It's what was clearly once a field, maybe a field of wildflowers. It's hard to tell what it used to be, but in the, like, the flash freeze, it's just sort of weird shapes of frost kind of frozen into the shape of flowers, plants, bushes. It's hard to tell. And leaves. That's obviously mulched inside the ice, but the ice has retained the shape. Like ghost apples, but a field of ghost apples. [01:45:27] Speaker A: Okay, so weird shapes of frost. So it's. Okay. All right. That's. That's a cool. That's a very cool image. So just like a whole expansive field of. Of this. [01:45:44] Speaker F: Yeah. [01:45:45] Speaker A: Okay. And finally, Theo, what does Cooper. What does Cooper spy? [01:45:52] Speaker C: I feel like with, like, the freeze frost as well. It's obviously affected the fauna, but I think there's. I think there's one section they get to where they literally see animals frozen, where it's that cold that they've, like almost as though they've been turned to stone, but they're on obviously, ice. Just like these smaller creatures who haven't been able to. To deal with the quickness of the freeze. [01:46:22] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:46:23] Speaker C: As we're getting closer and closer. Yeah, it's quite nerve wracking. [01:46:33] Speaker A: Yeah. By your observations, do these creatures look like they were fleeing from the freezing or do they seem like they were taken by surprise? [01:46:50] Speaker C: I think they were fleeing the freezing, but like it's still a surprise. Like it's like they were getting away as quickly as they could. [01:46:59] Speaker A: Okay. I mean this all. Yeah. I think everything we just kind of said paints a picture of this kind of somewhat morbid natural beauty. Just the. The sheer oddness, the strangeness of this. Of this area of island that's just been kind of buffeted by this primal icy influence. But of those five locations. So the erosion into caves, the. The long icicles making almost a song with the sounds of their dripping. The flash frozen grounds that makes it feel like you're just kind of walking across the sky due to its kind of clear mirror image. Over, like on a cliff's edge overlooking the horizon where a large flock of creatures are swarming around something on the ground. A field of ice mimicked flora taking the. Taking the place of the flowers and plants that once stood or this sort of like grove of. Yeah. Frozen island inhabitant creatures. Where. Where do we want to zoom in for the next leg of our journey? [01:48:43] Speaker B: No more walking on ice. No, no, no, no, no, no. We learned a lesson. No, no, no. [01:48:52] Speaker F: We don't roll well enough fries. [01:48:54] Speaker B: No, no, no, no. [01:48:56] Speaker E: In. In that case, do we want to walk through the field then with snows. [01:49:02] Speaker B: Snowda. The snapples. [01:49:04] Speaker E: With the snapples. [01:49:05] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:49:07] Speaker E: So it's going to be rather cr. [01:49:13] Speaker A: Okay, so the field of flowers, weird shapes of frost. Okay. Gardy, are you still in large beast form? [01:49:31] Speaker D: Probably. It's probably a bit warmer. [01:49:34] Speaker A: Yeah, that's true. That's very, very true. I will be looking out you then riding a snatcher. [01:49:43] Speaker D: Yeah, and Cass is still on my back as well. [01:49:45] Speaker F: So we're just layer. Yeah, I'm not. I can see everything. [01:49:52] Speaker D: Yeah. I'll be keeping an eye out for the herbs that we need for our bomb as we go. [01:49:59] Speaker A: Okay, so. So Abe and Coraline are on one snajer. Cass, are you. Have you kind of relocated onto Griffin or Cooper's snudger? [01:50:15] Speaker F: No, I'm still on Guardi. [01:50:17] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. And Gardi, you are a great predator right now, right? [01:50:24] Speaker D: So they say [01:50:28] Speaker B: alpha male Guardi. Was there ever any doubt? [01:50:34] Speaker C: Oh my God. [01:50:36] Speaker A: Okay, so Gardi is great beast. So let me just quickly update that. What a great beast. [01:50:48] Speaker C: Great beast. [01:50:50] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:50:51] Speaker D: The. This whole thing is just for him to try and find some supplements. So that he can continue his Alpha career. [01:51:03] Speaker A: Okay. In which case we find the six of you. Gardi kind of trotting off ahead a little bit to find herbs. We find you in like moving along a forest path. Well, a path through. It's not forest per se. There are trees either side of you. But these trees, as George has kind of pointed out to us, are sort of like almost crystalline mimicries of the trees. The layer of frost being the only thing that's kind of preserving the shape of the mulch that was inside. And yeah, who it's. Whose conversation are we zooming in on? Yes, you can speak in beast frank form. [01:52:19] Speaker B: His little voice coming out of this great big face. [01:52:22] Speaker C: Hello. [01:52:24] Speaker A: Yes, you can talk and communicate as normal. [01:52:27] Speaker F: Otherwise it would be just Cass talking at you about the plan. [01:52:32] Speaker D: I don't think whether I can talk or not is going to change that. [01:52:34] Speaker B: Change that. [01:52:36] Speaker F: Giving you very strict instructions about what to do once we reach this God, how she's going to fly you up to it. [01:52:46] Speaker B: Cool. [01:52:46] Speaker D: Cool. [01:52:50] Speaker A: We'll tell you what. If you're. If Guardi's kind of in a com is scouting ahead, you're. You're looking for Drake route, was it? [01:53:03] Speaker D: You think so? [01:53:04] Speaker A: Drake flower, possibly Drake flower, in which case. Yeah, perhaps like Guardi, you have a suspension suspicion that, you know, you might find. Well, you've been on the lookout. But if you want to roll me up a check to see if you can find. If you want to actively try and find some now whilst you're in this sort like more kind of natural area. [01:53:29] Speaker D: Sure. Instinct. [01:53:31] Speaker A: Yeah. And does your predator give you any, like, features that will help you in this? [01:53:37] Speaker D: And big boy dog, he. I can carry people. I can hit stuff. That's. That's his whole deal. [01:53:44] Speaker A: Great predator. [01:53:45] Speaker E: Not do a sniff kno. [01:53:47] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:53:47] Speaker A: No, you're good at attacking, sneaking and sprinting. Okay, yeah, that's fair. That's fair. [01:53:52] Speaker D: That doesn't matter because I'm amazing at this anyway. [01:53:57] Speaker E: Nice. [01:53:58] Speaker B: Well, he finds it pretty scary. [01:54:02] Speaker A: It's so scary. [01:54:04] Speaker D: No, it isn't. It's in a prickle bush. I'm going to be fearless. I'm going to mark two stress and do it hopefully instead. [01:54:13] Speaker A: Okay. [01:54:13] Speaker D: I'm not afraid of no ghost apples. [01:54:18] Speaker A: Right. In which case I will drop my fear back down. I think I was on eight. Cool. Okay, so you switch that to an 18 fear. So bio means pop your hope up if you haven't already. Okay. So as you. Yeah. Using your kind of volcanic like enhanced snout, you manage to pick up the Scent of this, like, Drake flower plant. What is. What does it look like, Gardy? [01:55:04] Speaker D: It is a reasonably small flower, about the size of, like, a geranium or something. And all of the petals are white and serrated. [01:55:22] Speaker A: Look. [01:55:22] Speaker D: And look a bit like teeth, which gave it its name. [01:55:25] Speaker A: Nice. That has. Okay. In which case, as you. You successfully find it and you are able to harvest it, so, you know, in your, like, in your next short rest, you'll be able to combine it with the, like, the base that you and Cass have already created. And you're hopeful that this will transform it into a suitable cure. Following Galena's instructions, the. The Terrence, Right. Alchemist you spoke to via the sending stones not too long ago. [01:56:05] Speaker D: I'll probably ask Cass to. To actually do the picking and stuff, because I haven't got hands. [01:56:11] Speaker F: He's the one with some. [01:56:12] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:56:15] Speaker A: Cass, as you are like, carefully picking this herb out from the, like, the bush that it's under, what's kind of going through your mind as you realize you've now got the last ingredient for, like, curing, hopefully curing this affliction? [01:56:37] Speaker F: I. She feels like she's finally back on track. I mean, in her head, this should have been happening, like, two days ago. Just kept happening. Now she feels like she's finally back where they're supposed to be, back where they would have been. So I think there's definitely, like, a fervency to her movement. She's. She's slipping back into head there at no. At all costs. [01:57:03] Speaker A: Okay. In which case. Yeah. As Cass and Guardia picking. Picking herbs, we zoom in on the. The other four of you. So Abe, Cooper, Griffin, and Coraline. Are there any. Any discussions happening there? [01:57:24] Speaker E: I think Griffin is absolutely gushing about the fact that he made Cooper's crossbow look really cool. Just talking about how cool it was and. [01:57:35] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:57:35] Speaker A: And then, like, it just. And [01:57:39] Speaker C: then. [01:57:42] Speaker A: So cool. [01:57:42] Speaker E: So cool. [01:57:45] Speaker C: I feel like Cooper is also, like, it's. It's actually quite nice to have something fun to talk about that isn't the disaster that is what the hell is going on right now. And everyone's quite difficult. Like, conversations you've had about backstories or the stress it has been to get here or the stress it was on the river. Like, it's been nice to have something successful happen, which isn't just players rolling dice badly, but, like, successful happen. That feels like worth celebrating to the characters. Yeah. Cooper's just like, yeah, did you see, like, I jumped from the Snatcher and I jumped on Guardian. [01:58:24] Speaker A: That Was so cool. [01:58:26] Speaker E: So cool. You see, like, Cass came round and [01:58:30] Speaker A: then we made, like, more wolves and, [01:58:31] Speaker B: like, scared them away and. [01:58:33] Speaker E: Ah, brilliant. See, we could do this. [01:58:37] Speaker A: We can do this. [01:58:38] Speaker B: We've legitimately. [01:58:39] Speaker C: We got it. [01:58:40] Speaker A: As you like, as you're excitedly talking about this, Coraline sort of like peers over from the. The other Snatcher. And I have to admit, Griffin and I didn't think you had it in you. Have you. It seems like you've got quite a grasp of the arcane. [01:59:01] Speaker E: Oh, yeah, I guess. I guess, like, try my best. [01:59:09] Speaker A: Did you have any sort of formal training? [01:59:16] Speaker E: I would have believed that. That Coraline would have been at the conversation that Griffin had regarding sort of his relationship with Sorwind. Do you think? [01:59:26] Speaker A: Sure. Okay. In which case, as she says it, did you receive any sort of formal training? There's this look in her eyes as she's trying to sort of like, slide in. She's. Yeah, trying to. Trying to glean a kernel of truth from you. Like, there's a. There's a slight ulterior motive behind. Behind her words. [01:59:48] Speaker E: Griffin sort of. Sort of almost sort of says something and then sort of stops himself and he's like, you know, just. Just picked it up from people, really. Just from here, there and everywhere and other stuff. [02:00:11] Speaker A: For the. The purposes of a very brief recap, what points did Griffin touch on after his flip out, after he. Slip out? [02:00:22] Speaker E: He. He touched on the fact that he was a staff member, he was part of Lord Sorrowin's court, and he. When he turned Sanguvar, that it was a. That he was almost enrolled in to be more of a soldier rather than a. Rather than a servant. [02:00:42] Speaker A: Sure. In which case, Coraline sort of like pulls a Snatcher closer in towards yours. So it. It's not excluding, like, Cooper or Abe from. I mean, definitely can't exclude a. He's on the same Snatcher, but it's. [02:01:01] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:01:01] Speaker A: It's not like she's bodying you out of the conversation, Cooper. Last I heard, Lord Sorrow, Lord of House Stonethirath. That is a. That's a powerful. A Savari High House. Yeah. [02:01:23] Speaker E: And he's not nice. And the less we talk about him, the better. So let's just carry on, shall we? [02:01:31] Speaker A: As you say, he's. He's not nice. Like, you notice that Coraline's kind of eyes drift away slightly, and then as you say, as you can kind of conclude. Let's talk about something else. She kind of looks back to you, and. There's only so much that you can keep from us about this, Griffin. A lot of my experiences in the war were fighting against health. Stone to Wrath. I think it's. It would be wise if we all. If everyone understood the gravity of the threat. The house Stone to Wrath poses as one of Akan's favorite houses. And she sort of like looks you. She. She stares you directly in the eye, but you kind of get the impression she's not looking at you. She is looking at your blood red eyes. As his favorites, Lord Sorrow and his followers were afforded many, many boons. And it would seem that perhaps they did not suffer as severe a consequence from the war as others may have hoped. And she looks to the three of you. I don't mean to alarm anyone, but I would advise keeping an eye out if Lord Sorrow in has you in his sights. She says, kind of gesturing to you. [02:03:21] Speaker C: All [02:03:24] Speaker A: he, as Griffin said, is a threat that. Well, unlike what Griffin here is saying, it might be worth keeping his potential presence in mind. And she kind of smart, gives you a. Like a. A supportive smile. Griffin. But you can see that, like, there's something kind of haunting her a little bit behind her eyes as she says it. Cooper, you feeling better? You had a restless night last night? [02:04:09] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. Just again, to. To recap, I did tell everyone what happened in my dream. Like, I. I expressed that it felt like a dream. Like, it didn't feel like a dream, but obviously I woke up, so. So I don't know how much of that, like, if, like it was exo. Doing magic on me or something else, but I. Cooper told them what happened, but he still isn't really sure how much of it is real or how much of it is just a nightmare or. Because it's still. He's still processing everything that happened as well. So, yeah, he was like, well, yeah, no stressful trips. I don't know. It's weird. I don't know too much about Kervoha. That's the name he used. I. I kind of tried to, like, not engage with, you know, all that stuff wasn't part of my job. My job was just to do things for people. So whilst I. I know about it, it's not something I fully engaged in, if it's something that I should be worried about or not. I don't know. I don't understand it. That's the thing. [02:05:50] Speaker A: Well, something to bear in mind. Coraline starts when you were born to this world. Yeah. How old are you? [02:06:07] Speaker C: 40 something. I don't know. I didn't actually get given a birthday date, so. You've kind of just been pretending there's a date, but wow. [02:06:15] Speaker A: Around that at the very least. Then there were decades where Kofa was looked up to by the people of Elsewhere, just as they. We look up to the other dragons. Her fall from grace happened long after you were born. So perhaps whatever purpose you had that she sent you here for, I. I don't want you to think that it is inherently tainted because of her actions during the War of Dragons, [02:06:55] Speaker E: right? [02:06:58] Speaker A: Unlike you, Exo is one who has been Twisted. Corrupted. His. His original devotion to Garvother was a choice. And now the path he has taken in the aftermath of the war, based on what he was saying to you, that is a choice as well. You may have similar background with connections to Kevotha, but you and he walk wildly different paths. [02:07:38] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm not a. Well, hopefully I have my moments. I know, but. [02:07:52] Speaker A: She. She nods. Have you had any other encounters with Exo? Any other visions since. Since you slept? [02:08:03] Speaker C: No, just. Just the one of him talking to me in the mirror and. You know he's going the wrong way. Useful if he was going this way. I actually don't know if it's useful if he's going this way either. I don't really know, but either way, he's at the other Titan or on his way to. Which is worrying. But who knows? [02:08:35] Speaker A: We. I suppose we can only focus on the path we've taken. But b. I need. I think you should be wary as well, Cooper. If you were able to see through Exo's eyes, it stands to reason that perhaps he can see through yours. [02:08:57] Speaker C: So, yeah, don't tell me anything, right? Maybe just blindfold me and put me on a snare and not let me know what's going on until absolutely necessary. [02:09:06] Speaker A: Oh, I'll leave that for Abe to do. If we feel. [02:09:11] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [02:09:11] Speaker A: The right. Right course to follow. [02:09:14] Speaker B: I ever see a funny glint in your eye. [02:09:19] Speaker E: Is. Is. Is Coraline driving at the moment? Is she driving the Snatcher? [02:09:24] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, you're. You're. The three of you are a standstill while you wait for Guardian Cass, currently, but [02:09:31] Speaker B: passenger Princess [02:09:34] Speaker E: Griffin's gonna go. Mayor, can. [02:09:37] Speaker A: How about you? [02:09:38] Speaker E: You take a rest? I'd really like to hear more of your stories from the war, If. If you don't mind. You can ride on the back of my Snatcher if you want. [02:09:49] Speaker A: Coraline kind of raises her eyebrows. She looks over her shoulder at you, Abe, and if you have no complaints, she leaps off the saddle. [02:10:01] Speaker B: He's having a smoke. [02:10:03] Speaker A: He's having A nap. He's having an old man nap. And, yeah, Coraline, you watch as she sort of, like, approaches the side of the snaddle. She places her hand on one of the sort of, like, the protrusions on the side of the snail like, shell. And sort of like, getting a hold of that and a bit of the leather, she places a foot, like, on the snare's leg. And then almost effortlessly, just like, scales up the side the shell and kind of drops herself into the passenger seat. And. Yeah. Coraline is now on Griffin's Snatcher. [02:10:43] Speaker E: I would like to just go up a little bit, like, just kind of going like, oh. And just kind of pretend to sort of take the snatcher a little bit further ahead. [02:10:56] Speaker A: Okay. So, yeah, the two of you kind of carry on the path a little way, leaving kind of Abe and Cooper. Abe, I'm assuming you're smoking this pipe and just staring at Cooper, waiting to see exo in his eyes. [02:11:15] Speaker B: Just wait for him to stop wearing his trousers higher up. [02:11:17] Speaker D: That's a sign [02:11:23] Speaker A: B.S. griffin. Like, Coraline, put some. Well, you put some distance between the others. [02:11:29] Speaker E: Okay. I think when Griffin knows that there's a good amount of distance, he's. He's gonna sort of not sternly say, as sternly as Griffin can probably do it. He is just gonna go, how much do you know? Not actually. Not even looking at her, just asking. How much do you know? [02:11:55] Speaker A: About what? [02:11:58] Speaker E: About Lord Sorrow. And how much do you know? [02:12:03] Speaker A: Only his reputation. I never met him on the field of battle, But House Stone Hurath has taken a lot from me. [02:12:17] Speaker E: Really sorry about that. [02:12:22] Speaker A: She shrugs. And it seems like House Stone Thras has taken just as much from you. I. I do not consider you a threat or an enemy, Griffin. [02:12:35] Speaker C: Thank you. [02:12:39] Speaker E: I feel scared about telling the others. They. They don't know. They really don't know what kind of man he is. And, Yeah, if he finds out about me and he knows that they're involved, like, there's stuff he could offer them that could really, I don't want to say turn against, but probably something that they wouldn't pass up. And if they'll. And if they don't have anything he can offer, then that's when the blackmail will come in, the threats will come in. I don't want to scare them too much. [02:13:43] Speaker A: Coraline kind of looks at you, and, like, you see her eyes narrow slightly, and she kind of tilts her head from, like, side to side as she studies you. And then she kind of straightens herself up in a. The Saddle and rest assured. The. The form. The style. The form of battle mage is one of balance, offense, defense mixed into a dance. One of these gauntlets seeks vengeance against Exo. But this other gauntlet seeks protection for my companions. So as long as I still draw breath, you will be protected. Griffin. Thank you. [02:14:44] Speaker E: I appreciate that. [02:14:48] Speaker A: And Coraline just kind of gives you a. A polite curtain. [02:14:52] Speaker B: Odd. [02:14:56] Speaker A: At this point, Guardi and Cass, you have successfully extracted the herb and. Yeah, you have a. You have the. You have the herb in hand, do you? I mean, this is an opportunity to take a short rest, which you can use to also top up, but to finish off the cure. Or do you want to carry on late, like gain some more ground before taking a rest? [02:15:24] Speaker F: I feel like we should make the cure just to have it [02:15:29] Speaker B: just in case. [02:15:30] Speaker F: Yeah, something just randomly attacks us down. [02:15:34] Speaker D: I'm going to go man mode. [02:15:36] Speaker A: Okay. With Cassandre still on top of you, [02:15:42] Speaker B: possibly. [02:15:42] Speaker D: I do forget to find. Mention it [02:15:46] Speaker A: just. Just as Cooper looks over. [02:15:52] Speaker F: So I feel like is taller than you as well. So it's like. [02:15:57] Speaker D: Yeah, you're just like standing and I'm just on the ground. [02:16:02] Speaker A: In which case, if we are starting a short rest, if you. I'm pretty sure you can like click on what you want to happen in the short rest from your character sheets by clicking on the little knife and fork in the top right of your characters. So if you go all go through and kind of click those through, hopefully they'll roll through to chat, but we'll focus specifically on Guardian. Cass, how are you? Are you looking to. If you're looking to do the cure like normally projects are long rest, but I think it's. You know, we can certainly. I think between. To. To spend time on the cure will cost two short rest actions. And you can split them between you if you so wish. [02:16:52] Speaker F: Oh, so we can. We can then both have one. [02:16:56] Speaker A: Yeah. [02:16:56] Speaker F: Short rest. I'm fine with that. [02:17:01] Speaker D: Well, how are you for hope? [02:17:04] Speaker F: I was quite good for hope. I don't think I am anymore. [02:17:06] Speaker B: How am I? [02:17:07] Speaker F: Oh, actually I've got three Hope. [02:17:09] Speaker D: Should we prepare together as our action? [02:17:13] Speaker F: I was going to clear some stress. [02:17:16] Speaker D: Fair. I will also clear stress then. [02:17:19] Speaker A: Okay, so Abe is double preparing to take you up to six Hope. Is that [02:17:32] Speaker B: potentially. No, it should be [02:17:38] Speaker A: because you're on two Hope at the moment. I believe two [02:17:43] Speaker B: which is a hope, isn't it? [02:17:45] Speaker A: Two Hope. Oh, sorry. One Hope. [02:17:47] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. [02:17:48] Speaker A: See Captain four. So, Abe, what are you doing to prepare? [02:18:02] Speaker B: Thinking. It's hard for Abe to think I think just getting. Just, just. Just making use of the fact that he is finally. Well, they are somewhere seemingly safe. They are no longer on rocky ground. So just trying to just kind of take a bit of a time to sort of get his ducks in a row and kind of calm down. And he knows that the next bit is going to be. Why do I keep making massive purple things? It's gonna. It's gonna be hard. So I think he's gonna make. He'll make a little fire and kind of get some feed. [02:18:51] Speaker A: Go around. [02:18:51] Speaker B: He'll feed all the snatchers. [02:18:53] Speaker A: Sure, I'm making them now. Okay, we'll tell you what. Let's pull. Let's pull the snatches into this little, this little area but alongside the road and we'll pull the two of you off your mounts. Oh, that was the wrong button. Okay, so Cooper and Abe have now dismounted as have Griffin and Coraline. So yeah, there's just. Just off to the left hand side of this pathway. There's a little area kind of nestled in. You're surrounded by these like crystalline. This is like anti fossil crystalline trees. And yeah, Abe has put together a little fire. It takes. Takes a little while to. To get the fire to light given the like the, the. The bit of wood that you do find is from a tree that hasn't quite crystallized. But the wood like the, the wood itself, the bark is weirdly is mulching and a. There is a part of you that. It's certainly not normal. Like you would have thought if this, if everything just kind of got flash frozen then the, the ins. Like the inner. The insides of this tree would be kind of rock hard, have turns to ice as well kind of thing. But as Georgia pointed out, like the insides are almost rotting. And you can't like you, you know, that's not normal. [02:20:43] Speaker B: That's not good. [02:20:46] Speaker A: What is Abe's explanation for why things are rotting? [02:20:55] Speaker B: It's bad juju in it. Bad times, I don't know, strikes again. It's. It just kind of cracks it open like a coconut, this log. And he's just kind of showing it just like you know, this is gonna be a reference that only Nathan will get. You know, when Bob Mortimer cracks an apple in half. [02:21:23] Speaker A: Yeah, [02:21:29] Speaker B: But just kind of shows everyone just like this ain't say right. I don't know what's happened, but it ain't right. It's like all. All mushy inside. It's like it's. It's rotted. Is that part of the crystallization Process. I don't know much about it. No, I don't think it's to going good. [02:21:47] Speaker A: If anyone would like to have a guess, feel free to roll a knowledge percept reaction roll. [02:21:59] Speaker D: I think GI would posit that it's the spirits. They. They watch over nature in this land. Without them, life is ebbing away. [02:22:17] Speaker B: Maybe they're still here. [02:22:18] Speaker F: Right. [02:22:19] Speaker B: They're just a bit sick. [02:22:23] Speaker D: We'll see. Whatever's happening to them, they're not. They're not doing their jobs. [02:22:30] Speaker B: Anything. They get stronger. No. If she's like, you know, she's creates ice and she's. And she's making more of it as we can see. Is she not getting better at her job? [02:22:44] Speaker D: A dying wounded bear can seem stronger than ever, but it's just raging against the dark. [02:23:01] Speaker A: Does any. No. No one's hoping to roll. Yeah, we'll. We'll take the result to figure out if what you said or not was right or wrong. [02:23:16] Speaker D: No, it's right. [02:23:17] Speaker A: Yes. [02:23:18] Speaker D: Oh, I'm not very good at knowledge. [02:23:20] Speaker A: You can absolutely do ancient wisdom if you want to. [02:23:26] Speaker E: I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna have a little roll. [02:23:31] Speaker F: I've got researcher so I can. [02:23:32] Speaker A: Okay. So you got a 20 from Gardi. We got 16 from Cass. [02:23:40] Speaker F: No, that's. That's a no. [02:23:42] Speaker E: Got a crit for me? [02:23:44] Speaker A: I got a crit from Griffin. [02:23:46] Speaker C: So Professor Griffin. [02:23:55] Speaker A: Overcube is not rolling too dangerous. [02:23:58] Speaker C: I need good role for another thing. Clearly. Let's not hang on to it. [02:24:06] Speaker A: Everyone check to see if that kind of all gave you hope or fears because I think you've got a fear from me. [02:24:14] Speaker C: Yeah, I was just doing it clearing my stress. Sorry. [02:24:19] Speaker B: Yeah, my. Why not? Okay. Yeah. [02:24:21] Speaker A: So if you all in those. So yeah. As you. So Gardi pontificates that, you know, the Titans are more akin to kind of cornered, wounded beasts lashing out much more kind of vigorously and violently than if they weren't in such a way on a 16 from Cass. What's Cass's surmising. And this is almost certainly going to be a correct statement. [02:24:56] Speaker F: She would assume that the wire, the magic of the wild spirits is disconnected from the creatures themselves. It's something they wield rather than something that they are. So if they are unable in some way to wield this incredibly powerful force that they have, it will be lashing out. So this. It's like someone with a sword versus someone who's drunk with a sword. It's like still the same sword but the way it's being wielded is different. [02:25:25] Speaker A: Okay, Coraline, like, she's tapping on her bottom lip with her gauntlet and then she. I. That. That's an interesting idea, Cat. I think there's a slight. There's a slight difference. However, the. I'm sure you can sense it as well. The. The arcane nature of the storm that wrapped this island. The. The tang of. Of arcane that lingers in the air. I feel as if they are currently imbued with the power for they're not used to wielding. And perhaps it feels as if. Well, it's clear from the crystallization that they have been for all extents and purposes, infected with Arcane. But crystallization by itself is. Is passionless. It is simply the. The. An overload of Arcane Manor. But there is something about what is happening here. She says, gesturing around. There's almost a sentience behind the Arcane Manor. Like it has a. It has a motive. In the aftermath of EXO's attack, I watched fire crawling to wherever it could cause the most devastation. And for all we know of the. Of the Titans, that is not in their nature. There is. There is a malignancy. There is a. An inherent violence that is affecting their power. I think that is what is. That is what is perhaps causing everything that's happening around here. [02:27:44] Speaker F: We noticed that too, when we were trying to save people back in town. It was moving of its own accord, [02:27:55] Speaker A: perhaps. Well, we can only hope that whatever this. Whatever this mouth, whatever this malady that afflicts them is whatever it's attempting to do, maybe we can hold hope that the Titans are actually trying to control it, to restrain it. And in fact, this. This malignancy is trying to act out. Perhaps they're trying to save the island, much as they always have done. What's griffin's. [02:28:49] Speaker E: Yeah, on a critical. [02:28:53] Speaker B: Just smell good. [02:28:53] Speaker A: And it's got to be good because I can't really refute a crit. [02:29:00] Speaker D: Say it's just a bri. Just a naturally bad winter and we can all go home. [02:29:04] Speaker A: Yeah, it's fine. [02:29:06] Speaker E: They just all have like a really nice nap. They'll be absolutely fine. Upon hearing sort of. [02:29:18] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't really know. [02:29:19] Speaker E: I think Coraline, after seeing hearing Coralina say that Griffin's gonna remind. Do you think that's the same what's happening in the mountain? Like, do you think the same sort of arcane forces what caused like. Like the villagers of the Keeper village to, you know, go. Go against their better senses, [02:29:50] Speaker A: The. The threats, the. The mountain, that whole Sharia Charade that feels like a different entity to what is happening to the Titans. I mean, given what your daughter was saying, Abe, they. Malgulva was being whispered to by this voice, this. Presumably this lady in purple for well over a year, almost two years that predates this infection that's afflicting the Titans. Whatever this lady in purple was. Is. Was doing, I don't feel it is connected to the Titans and I don't really know whether that makes me feel better or worse. There is something in the mountain for there. I just don't. This marble, she says, gesturing to the marble you've got on your weapons and armor. No one in Dorlishal knew that that mountain was rich with these marvel marble veins. And yet this voice seems to know of its existence in order to trick the villagers of Rice Vilnar into mining it. Clearly there is something going on there, but I don't think it has any real connection with the Titans. What's Abe's motive? Wisdom. Did you know Schneiders can go up wall? [02:31:48] Speaker B: What about the. The inner mush? [02:31:53] Speaker A: Yeah, well, just anything. Anything, any. Any musings apes had about this whole. I mean you've seen. You've never seen. This is colder than when home was. [02:32:05] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:32:06] Speaker A: On mountain peaks like any. You know, back then, you know, the mountains were relatively temperate because they were kept in balance by Burunan and Pfizer. But now Burunan, like Brunon's presence, cannot be felt. It's just pure, unadulterated Pfizer. But to an extent you've never experienced before. [02:32:32] Speaker B: Yeah, I say that. Yeah. I mean, it's all a bit of a bafflement to Ape. He's not a smart man, but he's just kind of. He knows it's bad, he knows it's not good. And it's all Malgor's fault. All of it. So how do you go? I don't know. It's. It's just not right. I. I don't feel they have any connection to the land anymore. I mean, I'm not. I was never, you know, devout as my. As my wife was. She. She would often speak of the gods and. And the. And the spirits, but she would be so. She'll be so upset to see what it has become. I. I really hope this cure can. Can change the tides because I. I don't. I don't see. Sort of looks like guardy. [02:34:00] Speaker A: Well, speaking of this cure, everyone. Everyone else is kind of doing their downtime bits, clearing stress, repairing their armor. Gardi and Cass, what if One of you spends hope to help the other decide amongst the two of you who is applying the herb to your cure. [02:34:28] Speaker B: What. [02:34:28] Speaker F: What are we rolling to apply? [02:34:31] Speaker A: I'm thinking it probably needs to be like, not. I could argue. I could see arguments for like, knowledge. Finesse. [02:34:42] Speaker B: Say. Finesse is tinkering, which. [02:34:45] Speaker A: Yeah, I think knowledge. [02:34:48] Speaker D: I'm quite bad at both of those things. So you crack on. [02:34:52] Speaker F: I'll. I'll. I'll crack on if you want to give me some sweet, sweet hope. [02:34:56] Speaker A: Okay. I'll try not to. [02:34:58] Speaker F: As badly as I have been doing. [02:35:00] Speaker A: And do you want to spend any experiences? [02:35:05] Speaker F: Research would be good. [02:35:08] Speaker A: I will also offer the opportunity for Guardi to spend an additional. Additional hope to also apply his experience that he might have to the role as well. Double experience Whack. [02:35:21] Speaker D: All right, [02:35:24] Speaker B: what about my experience? [02:35:27] Speaker A: If you would like to spend the hope, you could also chip in as well. [02:35:31] Speaker F: Gather round. Gather round again. [02:35:33] Speaker D: Yeah, I'll chuck in an ancient wisdom on that bad boy. [02:35:37] Speaker F: Oh, you. [02:35:39] Speaker A: Okay. In which case, yeah, Cass, if you go ahead and roll a knowledge check and then ancient Guardi's ancient wisdom is plus two. [02:35:53] Speaker F: Plus two. How do I. Oh, situational bonus. Just plus two. [02:36:02] Speaker A: Perfect. [02:36:05] Speaker F: Roll this bad boy and hope for the best. Did that do anything? [02:36:15] Speaker A: Thinking about it. [02:36:18] Speaker F: Did I do something wrong? [02:36:21] Speaker A: So if you click on knowledge in your character sheet and then. And then researcher. [02:36:29] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:36:33] Speaker A: And then. Yeah, plus two. That should roll. [02:36:35] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:36:37] Speaker A: Try again. Put your hope back up. [02:36:41] Speaker F: Oh, there we go. [02:36:45] Speaker A: Okay. [02:36:45] Speaker C: 16. [02:36:47] Speaker A: 16 with hope. In which case, as the. As you all kind of watch fun, I guess. Guardian. Cass, you're almost using the campfire as your alchemical station in a way just to get you some heat to make things happen within this mixture. And like, as you kind of. I'm picturing perhaps you like, grind down the. The dragon. The dragon flower. The fact that it's cold, it. It crisp. It's already a bit crispy, which aids in the sort like the powder of it. And like, while you've been talking, you've just kind of been taking turns swilling the potion over the flame to try and get it to. To mix in the presence of this kind of adverse cold weather. And Cass, as Abe mentions the cure, you kind of look down and what does your concoction look like? Color, texture, consistency. [02:37:57] Speaker F: Yeah. Remind me what the other two ingredients were. Should write them down. [02:38:03] Speaker A: Go, Tim, go. [02:38:06] Speaker D: What? [02:38:08] Speaker F: What were the other two ingredients we're being asked questions about. [02:38:11] Speaker D: Oh, it's all right. It's fine. We've already got Those in a pot. We're all good. [02:38:15] Speaker F: I mean like what it looks like. [02:38:17] Speaker A: Yeah. What. What does. What does the tool tip of this potion look like? What does the. The thumbnail of it look like? [02:38:24] Speaker B: A question. [02:38:24] Speaker D: I think it was like oils and stuff. [02:38:27] Speaker F: Yeah. [02:38:27] Speaker A: Before. [02:38:28] Speaker D: So it'll be that like suspense. There'll be a suspension of the. [02:38:33] Speaker F: So it'd be more like the teeth. The kind of the teeth herb that we've just ground in. So it'd be kind of like, I imagine a whitish green kind of like toothpaste. Yeah. [02:38:48] Speaker B: Okay. [02:38:49] Speaker A: In which case, as. Yeah, Cass, as you look down to this vial that's got this kind of whitish liquid, flecks of kind of green, kind of glowing, ever so slightly suspended in the mixture, I can inform you all. The final segment of Gardi's cure has been completed. [02:39:11] Speaker D: Yes. Yes. [02:39:12] Speaker A: Yes, yes. Yes. Congratulations. You have a cure, everyone. Make me an instinct troll. [02:39:26] Speaker B: It's not gonna work. [02:39:27] Speaker A: An instincts reaction roll if it gives you the option. [02:39:33] Speaker F: I don't think it does. [02:39:34] Speaker B: No reaction. [02:39:40] Speaker A: In which case, if you roll with hope, make sure to turn the hope off. Oh, oh, there's a lot of dice over. Yeah, I'm just having. [02:39:51] Speaker C: I got a 16 with Hope. [02:39:53] Speaker A: Okay, so we've got a so 16 from. So yeah. Those of you who roll with hope, make sure to deduct the hope. Back off your totals and I'll deduct the fear off. So we've got a 16 from Cooper, a 20 from Cass, a 5 from Abe, a 15 from Guardi, and a 15 from Griffin. In which case, As you as all attentions are kind of focused on this cure that has just been successfully created, those of you who've rolled 15 or higher, which I believe was so Cass, Cooper, everyone but Abe, unfortunately. You hear a rustling in the trees behind you. And as you turn to look up rights seemingly rising from a mound of kind of frozen vegetation. Vegetation stands a tall. A tall fit like humanoid like figure draped in green leaves and skin like wooden bark. And as. As this figure kind of stands tall, what almost like two large leaves are almost like butterfly wings kind of unfurl from around him to around itself to reveal its splendor to you. And you all immediately recognize it. [02:41:57] Speaker B: It's the guy from the shrine. [02:41:59] Speaker A: You recognize it as the figure from the standing strike shrines. And as this figure sort of like stands to attention and like peers down at you, two additional arms kind of unfurl from under the leaf like wings. And you notice that they are clutching two thorn like daggers or two Blades that look like thorns in its hands. And as it kind of tilts its head and peers at you, it's glowing yellow eyes kind of cutting. Cutting through the. The murk of the. The coldness around you. You hear a flap of wings as from. A number of wing of moth like creatures descend from over the canopy like the nearby trees. And as these moths kind of as a couple of moths appear. So we'll. You also hear a rustling from behind you. And a number of beetle like creatures come scampering out of the undergrowth. And as they. As they do, as they kind of emerge from their respective hidey holes, those of all of you, bar Abe are able to of notice what's happening before they get a chance to strike. But so Abe, you're temporarily vulnerable until you flush that with one of your turns. But you notice as this kind of verdant humanoid like forearm humanoid kind of summons these creatures. It looks up to the creatures in seeming confusion. It's wordly but yeah, it looks. Its head kind of flits backwards and forwards and there's a. There's a. Yeah look of confusion etched upon its face. But everyone between the six of you bar Abe, who would like to go first [02:44:35] Speaker E: in the chat can. We got some little beta boys, we [02:44:39] Speaker B: got billy boys, we got boys, we got moth boys. [02:44:43] Speaker F: Oh, so many boys. [02:44:44] Speaker E: So many boys. [02:44:46] Speaker B: But who is the bad boys? [02:44:49] Speaker C: Could I do something, Dan? [02:44:51] Speaker A: Yeah, go for it. [02:44:54] Speaker C: I. I think like surprised by everybody there. I think Cooper also may feel like a flash of panic that he hasn't like. Doesn't feel like there's anywhere that he can hide and. Sorry, I just heard the cat purring. It really threw me off. Anxiety manifest as cat. No. And he, he will just, he'll look around and be like I'm not sure where. Where I can hide. And all of a sudden he. He will turn invisible. Oh, something you can now do. Okay, off he goes. Yeah, I'm trying to remember. I have to go, I have to cast it. But I'm trying to find how I cast that. Where is my features? Where is it? [02:45:52] Speaker A: Oh, is it invisibility? [02:45:54] Speaker C: Yes, it is. [02:45:55] Speaker A: Okay, we'll pop that into your loadout. If you hover over the icon for it. It's a spellcast 10. [02:46:01] Speaker C: Yeah. So Onyx success. Spellcast 10. So let's, let's see what happens. Try and put it in the chat. Okay, cool. Is it gonna set me stack what I do select? Sorry, I clicked it so many times now. This is great. You can tell I don't Usually cast things. [02:46:28] Speaker A: So if you click click on the icon, it turns into a little dice, and then that should give you the option for spell cast roll. [02:46:35] Speaker C: Oh, okay, cool. [02:46:37] Speaker B: I got it. [02:46:38] Speaker C: I got it. Sorry. Yeah, and I think I'm just gonna see what happens. [02:46:44] Speaker B: Crit. [02:46:45] Speaker E: Nice. [02:46:46] Speaker A: Oh, that is very crit. Okay, so you know what I'm gonna say? On the back of a crit, you gain your hope and you don't have to mark your stress. [02:46:57] Speaker C: Oh, nice. [02:46:59] Speaker E: Do. [02:47:00] Speaker B: Do we know that you can turn invisible? I guess not. [02:47:03] Speaker D: No. [02:47:03] Speaker C: Because Cooper doesn't know he can turn invisible either. This is the first time it's happened. Does he just do it like the first encounter? [02:47:09] Speaker A: You just go. Yeah. And just disappear? [02:47:14] Speaker B: This is only racking up more reasons that Abe thinks he's a spy. [02:47:19] Speaker C: Fair invalid. [02:47:24] Speaker A: Working for them. He's working for the moths. [02:47:27] Speaker C: All along [02:47:29] Speaker F: I knew it wasn't a little rat man. He was a little bugman. [02:47:40] Speaker A: So. [02:47:40] Speaker C: Yeah. So place a number of tokens on this card equal to your spell cast trait, which I don't know what that is. If you could have tried. When invisible to each takes an action, spend a token from the card. After the action that spends the last tokens resolved. The effect ends. So I think my spell cast is. [02:47:58] Speaker A: So your spellcast is finesse, I believe. [02:48:00] Speaker C: Okay, so four. So I have four. I can basically be invisible four, four times. And then. [02:48:04] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [02:48:05] Speaker A: In your loadout, there's a little text box that you can put the number of tokens in next to invisibility. [02:48:20] Speaker C: Okay, cool. [02:48:22] Speaker A: That's great. Okay, so, yeah, closing number tokens. When invisible creature takes an action, you spend a token. Okay. So you can do four actions before you un. Invisible. I haven't got the ability to turn you invisible right now, so we'll just have to pretend you've rolled with hope. Do you want to take an immediate turn? [02:48:41] Speaker C: I would love to use my crossbow with. And I'm hidden so I can sneak attack. [02:48:48] Speaker A: You're very, very much hidden. [02:48:50] Speaker C: And I'm going to. I feel like the moths might be the biggest issue, so I'm going to shoot at the furthest moth away. Okay. [02:49:01] Speaker A: So you've got left, middle, right, and left. Okay. This one here? [02:49:07] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:49:09] Speaker C: Do I get advantage if they can't see me or is it just spell check? Spell check, stealth check. [02:49:14] Speaker B: I think he just gets. [02:49:18] Speaker A: I will. [02:49:20] Speaker C: This is a. This isn't necessarily like. [02:49:23] Speaker A: I don't know. Yeah, I think this for all this. For now, we'll say that it's. [02:49:27] Speaker C: Oh, they. [02:49:28] Speaker B: That's it. [02:49:28] Speaker C: They are disadvantage against me because they can't see me. [02:49:30] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [02:49:31] Speaker A: And you are. You can just be hidden wherever you are kind of thing. [02:49:34] Speaker C: Cool. Okay, well I'm going to, I'm going to roll that then. That's a 13 with hope against. [02:49:44] Speaker A: So as you fire the, the crossbow off the. This moth seems to like flap it like flying in as it does seemingly senses the bolt flight like emerge as it materializes as it moves away from you. And this, this large moth that Cassandra you recognize as a gigafailen kind of ducks out the way and the bolt whistles past it. That is a miss unfortunately. Okay, I will step in with the, the moth that you, the, the gigafailen that you just shot at. So it will, it will begin kind of closing in. Flap, flap, flap, flap, flap, flap. And what's the range of this? Cool. As it flaps in the moth like the giga failing lets out this kind of warbling, reverberating like a screech in your direction. So I'm gonna need everyone in the camp to roll me a nothing. You all, you all just suffer. [02:51:14] Speaker E: Oh, you all just suffer. [02:51:17] Speaker A: You will just suffer to stress as the like you have to clamp your hands over your ears as this thing lets out this kind of ear piercing screech and it, it marks a stroke stress. The snatchers begin kind of pulling wildly against their tethered. Their tethers. Yes, you all suffer to stress. What does Guardi do? [02:51:49] Speaker E: Well, you're on mute. [02:51:51] Speaker D: Sorry, I was on cap safety mute. How close together are big moth and little beetle? [02:52:02] Speaker E: So the verticals and such a well known duo. [02:52:09] Speaker A: So realistically the large the moth the gigafailing is about is within close or. Yeah, it's probably about 20ft up. So close realistically that is pity. [02:52:22] Speaker D: All right then instead I will, I will entangle the knife boy. [02:52:31] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [02:52:32] Speaker D: I don't want him to knife us. Oh, I know. Do a, do a little, little roll for a little 14 with hope is probably not. [02:52:54] Speaker B: It. [02:52:55] Speaker D: Probably not gonna do it. [02:52:56] Speaker A: Okay, a 14 with hope. As you, as these vines kind of burst out of the ground, the, the this kind of tree like creature sees them coming and you watch as he sort of like wraps his hat, wraps its hands around the vines and and functionally wrenches them from the ground. And you watch as the right the like the writhing vines then become part of it, become a part of its form. So you do gain your hope. But that has not hit, unfortunately. [02:53:33] Speaker D: I think I tried to use that on him last time. So I'm not surprised. He was ready for it. [02:53:37] Speaker A: Yes, it like as so as the hammer dried the sort of like look like absorbs these vines and you see it sort of like still looking around like something confusion at the. The gigafailens and Abe. What. What name has Abe given to these little beetle like creatures? [02:54:02] Speaker B: Well, the moths are Flutter shrieks. [02:54:07] Speaker A: Huh. [02:54:09] Speaker B: And the little guys. Let's have a little look at this little guy. It's. What's on his back. Is it? [02:54:22] Speaker A: Well, so as you're looking at the flutter shriek and these beetles, there is a part of you that thinks they don't normally look like this. Like they seem to be kind of in partially transformed by this. Like there's ice hanging off the wings of the. Of the flutter shrieks of the gigafailen. And the shell of this beetle has just become like encrusted with frost. [02:54:51] Speaker B: Okay. [02:54:52] Speaker A: Almost like. Yeah, like these creatures have been transformed into in some way. And who's Gi. As you move away and you kind of glance over your shoulder, you notice Abe looking at these creatures in confusion. And it dawns on you. It's the same look of confusion that is on the face of the hammer Drider. [02:55:17] Speaker B: That's just. That's just a rocky scuttle. [02:55:19] Speaker A: That is a rocky scuttle. Okay, so scuttle should not. [02:55:24] Speaker B: Should be rocky, but not icy. [02:55:26] Speaker A: Not icy. It's not an icy scuffle. Okay. In which case Abe is in the. Yeah. What? What's. It's my turn. Big one. So the scar after Guardi. The scar. One of the scar beetles will jump down from its ridge and then scuffle up to you, Abe, and it will have a nibble. [02:56:02] Speaker B: Oh, [02:56:06] Speaker A: 14 to hit. [02:56:07] Speaker B: Yeah, that will hit me. That will hit. [02:56:09] Speaker A: Okay, so first things first. As the. The pincers. [02:56:17] Speaker B: I don't like the sound of that, Dan. [02:56:19] Speaker A: Like bite into you and like slice through your like clothing. Like your. Your armor. You firstly will take 18 hit points of damage. 18 damage? [02:56:38] Speaker B: Minor damage. Yeah. [02:56:41] Speaker A: And on a successful attack, you have to mark an armor slot without receiving its benefits. If you can't mark the arm, if you won't mark the armor slot, you take an extra health point. [02:56:53] Speaker B: Oh, I've got armor slots up the wazoo, so. And health, to be honest. So I'll. Yeah, I'll take one health one up. [02:57:03] Speaker A: Well, okay. [02:57:05] Speaker B: Don't know much, but he knows how to not. Well, he has already died, so I'm not sure what to say. All right, no worries. Okay. [02:57:14] Speaker A: So yes, this beetle kind of leaps towards you and like sinks its mandibles into you as these what they Rocky bugs. [02:57:26] Speaker B: Yeah, Rocky scuttles. [02:57:28] Speaker A: Rocky scuttles. Yeah, famously like the powerful pink trap of a rocky scuttle, like clamps into your leg. Who wants to go next? [02:57:40] Speaker B: Me. [02:57:40] Speaker A: Okay. Go away. Go. [02:57:44] Speaker B: Can I slice? [02:57:45] Speaker A: You can. [02:57:46] Speaker B: Thank you. [02:57:55] Speaker A: So 15 a 15 with fear as you bring down your axe, like. Like leaning into the well, you swing your ax. And it's in this moment that you kind of miscalculate the extra weight from the marble on the ax blade as you just glance off the shell of the scar beetle of the. Of the rocky scuttle. And you. You just kind of get the feeling if it were. If you didn't have this marble on it, perhaps you would have hit it. [02:58:30] Speaker B: So I like my old reliable, not this new reliable. It ain't. No. It ain't as reliable as. [02:58:35] Speaker A: For sure. So, yes, your axe, like, slides just off the side of it. The I will activate. And one of the other gigafailans swoops in and it's going to. To fly directly over the camp. And it just sort of like kind of swoops in and then lifts itself up and its wings open wide and. Abe, have you ever seen a what. What did you call them? Flappy screechers? [02:59:18] Speaker B: It's a flutter. Because it's a flutter screech. A flutter screech. [02:59:23] Speaker A: Okay, so you know that they're these. The fl. It looks like the flutter screech is about to like, shake out its pollen like the. The dust that it. It usually. You've seen it do, but it looks like it's preparing for that. Who wants to go next? [02:59:40] Speaker E: I can go next. [02:59:41] Speaker A: Okay. Go, Griff, go. [02:59:42] Speaker E: I'm gonna cast a fireball, set it on fire. Well, I'm gonna. I'm gonna set a fireball at the furthest one at the left. So hopefully and try and get the little beetle as well. [02:59:57] Speaker A: He's gone fireball mad. [03:00:00] Speaker B: He's drunk off the fireball power. [03:00:02] Speaker E: Drunk of power. I'm gonna use my arcane magic knowledge of arcane magic as well to bump it up. I'll beat and I'll roll. 16. [03:00:19] Speaker A: 16 doesn't hit. Doesn't hit the. [03:00:24] Speaker C: What if we tag team [03:00:29] Speaker A: do. [03:00:29] Speaker E: I know you're there. [03:00:30] Speaker A: I'm like [03:00:34] Speaker C: your. Your fireboat goes to go, but I use my. Like I'm like, oh, like last time. Like last time time. So I'm invisible. So use my crossbow to like, fire the. Like go through the fireball to Then still hit. So if I. If I. [03:00:50] Speaker A: Yeah, if you want to spend the. [03:00:51] Speaker C: And I'll spend the free hope. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll spend the free hope. 1, 2, 3. And then improve dagger. I'm going to add more hope and do reckless aim as well. Excellent aim. [03:01:11] Speaker A: Excellent. [03:01:12] Speaker C: Okay, excellent aim. And then we'll see. Was that awful? [03:01:21] Speaker E: No, it's a nice. [03:01:22] Speaker C: That was good. [03:01:23] Speaker A: 19 with hope. Griffin, you watch as your fireball like arcs in the explosion kind of rips out and it engulfs the scar beetle that's kind of poked its face out of the. The like the frozen undergrowth. But you watch as the gigafail and sort like flaps its wings and gains height to pull itself away from the explosion. And then, seemingly out of nowhere, you watch as this crossbow bolt flies out through the flames of the fireball and strikes the gigafailen. That is a hit for both of you. So you both get hope and please roll me combined damage. [03:02:10] Speaker E: Could you do a reaction roll as well for that, Dan? [03:02:13] Speaker A: Oh, yes. So Gigafailen is gonna roll 17, so that's fine. [03:02:25] Speaker E: He takes half damage from my fireball if he succeeds. [03:02:28] Speaker A: No, because we're using the Cooper's 19 with Hope. [03:02:32] Speaker B: Okay. [03:02:32] Speaker E: Yes, yes, true. [03:02:34] Speaker A: And the Scar Beetle will take full damage as well. [03:02:42] Speaker C: How do I add sneak attack again, [03:02:44] Speaker A: Dan, it should be on your character a sheet under. [03:02:49] Speaker C: It's not under the option for features Class Rogue. [03:02:54] Speaker B: Big boy numbers 46. Okay, big boy numbers. [03:03:08] Speaker C: It's asking me to use target. What if damage by. [03:03:14] Speaker A: Yeah, if you just roll the. Roll the damage and then mo. Okay, so 46 damage from the fireball. 14. So that's 60 damage so far. [03:03:26] Speaker C: Plus, you know, the 3D6. [03:03:30] Speaker A: Yeah, I'll just do that. [03:03:43] Speaker C: Oh, God, no, that's not helping. I don't know how to set it. [03:03:50] Speaker A: So we'll just do it. We'll do that. So 60. 72 damage. [03:03:57] Speaker B: Yeah, [03:04:02] Speaker A: 72 damage. Suffice to say that is uber severe. You have definitely more than doubled on that up front. So the Scar Beetle takes a healthy four hit points worth of damage. And the Giga Phalen, you've also doubled its severe there as well. So that also takes four hit points of damage. I will go out of my way to say, given its fire attacks, why not the Explorer explosion? The explosive force of the fireball shatters the two of them as the fire melts the ice that's kind of encasing their bodies and they almost. Well, you're unsure if it's the fireball or they're kind of transformed nature, but they almost fall to bits as the ice kind of is blown away. Very good, Griffin and Cooper. So, Cooper, your invisibility drops down to two ticks. [03:05:04] Speaker C: Yeah. [03:05:05] Speaker A: If. Cool, cool, cool. Cool as that. Like, as that explodes. You Cass as you like. Cassand, Cass, Guardi and Coraline. Like, as you're kind of viewing the. The scene around you, you notice that the. This creature stood on the rock to the south of you. Like, it's looking around and it seeming like watching two. Two creatures get annihilated by this fireball, it kind of looks back to the last of the creatures, the one that's hovering over you, the one that's kind of flying in the scar. Beetles that are coming out the undergrowth. And it just kind of like shakes. It seemingly shakes its head. And you watch as it begins to take a few steps backwards. And then it just like. Like a bundle of leaves that are dropped from head height. It just collapses into the ground and kind of scatters to the winds as it disappears into the ground. Who wants to go next? [03:06:15] Speaker B: I'll smash. [03:06:17] Speaker A: Okay, go. Oh, you're smashing the beetle. Yes. [03:06:28] Speaker B: Eighteen with hope. [03:06:29] Speaker A: Eighteen with hope is a hit. So you. Yeah. Taking into consideration the extra weight of new reliable. You swing and hit [03:06:38] Speaker B: for rubbish. [03:06:40] Speaker A: 10 damage. That is major damage. As you do cut one of the legs off the beetle. And like, the. The inside of it, Is it like frozen meat or is it mochi, like the frozen plants around here? [03:07:00] Speaker B: It's mochi. [03:07:01] Speaker A: It's mulching gooey. [03:07:03] Speaker D: That's nasty. [03:07:04] Speaker A: Okay. In which case, yeah, the. The scar be beetle like this. This ooze kind of trickles out. And you notice that within the. Like the viscous sludge that comes out of this scar beetle, there are flecks of this, like reflective almost like glassy, like red. Red crystal. [03:07:33] Speaker B: Cass would like to see that later. She loves weird goo. [03:07:37] Speaker A: Who's. Who's up next? This. This. There's a gigafailen hovering above you all with seemingly with ill intentions. [03:07:47] Speaker F: Somebody needs to do a poo that she's got alimony yet to try. Alimony. [03:07:53] Speaker A: So she's alimony plus. I think I've named it on your character. She. [03:08:05] Speaker B: No, they did not roll. Can I? No. Can I? No. [03:08:17] Speaker A: Okay. A14 with hope does not hit, unfortunately, as you go to shoot the creature. Like the giga failing flaps out of the way. But you do gain the hope. Do you want to move before you finish? [03:08:35] Speaker F: No, I think she's fine where she Is okay. [03:08:38] Speaker A: In which case I will. As it passes over to me, I will spend a fear as the gigafailen over you, shakes its wings and body and pollen begins to rain down upon you. I'm gonna need everyone in the camp to roll me an instinct reaction roll, please. And then bear in mind to deduct. So we've got an 8, a 414 for Cass, a 13 for Griffin, and I think is guardian range. Guardi is not in range actually. So Guardi is fine. We will very quickly roll for Coraline. So what was it [03:09:44] Speaker B: to Instinct. [03:09:47] Speaker E: Instinct. [03:09:48] Speaker A: Instinct. Begging pardon. That was supposed to say agility. So if you want to have a quick look to see if your agility scores are different. [03:09:58] Speaker B: Yeah, I think we should just roll again. [03:10:02] Speaker A: Well, or we could just look at. So Griffin's got. [03:10:06] Speaker E: No, my one's still the same. [03:10:08] Speaker A: Still the same. What does it change for Cass? I think you're on mute, Georgia. [03:10:16] Speaker F: Thank you. I think it changes me because I get something on agility rolls last time. Where am I? What involves balancing and climbing. So probably not otherwise I get advantage on it. [03:10:31] Speaker A: Not on this. Not on this front, unfortunately. Yeah, even I don't think he's able. [03:10:42] Speaker B: Whatever it was. [03:10:44] Speaker A: Yeah. So those of you who have rolled lower than a 17. That's all of us. [03:10:55] Speaker B: That's all of us. [03:10:58] Speaker A: As the pollen lands upon you, you feel this interest in. Oddly, it feels like this intense burning. And Guardi from afar, you watch as your four companions in the camp, along with Coraline and 1, 2, [03:11:30] Speaker E: All but [03:11:30] Speaker A: one of the snatches are flash frozen as the pollen lands on them. And then like a sub zero fatality move to the ice encases everyone but one of the snatchers in the group. And as the more as this giga failance or like finishes vibrating and then kind of flaps its wings open and kind of lifts away, letting out another, like warbling screech. And as the four, the five of you sort of like with your hands up to shield yourself, kind of looking skywards through this kaleidoscope of ice over your. Over your faces. We'll call it that. [03:12:17] Speaker B: Frost [03:12:20] Speaker C: frozen. [03:12:21] Speaker E: Frozen boys. [03:12:25] Speaker B: I don't want my insides to turn to mush. [03:12:29] Speaker F: No. [03:12:33] Speaker A: Congratulations everyone, on completing episode 12. [03:12:40] Speaker C: Did we complete it, though? [03:12:42] Speaker A: I think we did. Well, we got to. We got to a cliffhanger, right? Yes. Congratulations on completing episode episode 12. Yeah. [03:12:56] Speaker F: Who. [03:12:57] Speaker A: Who knows where you guys are going to go from here. [03:13:01] Speaker E: Not very far if we're still. [03:13:04] Speaker A: The. The rest of the campaign is very easy to run now. If you're all just popsicles on the it's just Guardian of Guardian of Snatcher. [03:13:11] Speaker D: Me and the remaining Snatcher are gonna ride off into the distance.
