[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hello, Internet. Hello, world. Hi, welcome. My name is DM Dan and this is Explorers of Elsewhere Live. Hello, we. We are broadcasting live to your eyeballs and your ear holes. Perhaps with a smidge of lag if there are any lag gremlins that are still accosting me, but hopefully we're going to be okay. Speaking of gremlins. Hi, Nate. [00:00:28] Speaker B: Hi. [00:00:29] Speaker A: Hi, Livy. [00:00:30] Speaker C: Hello. [00:00:31] Speaker A: Hi, Georgia. [00:00:33] Speaker D: Hello. [00:00:34] Speaker A: Hi. For you. [00:00:36] Speaker E: Hey. [00:00:37] Speaker A: Hi, Danny. [00:00:38] Speaker F: Hello. [00:00:40] Speaker A: How are we all doing in this post Halloween world? Sad. [00:00:47] Speaker E: Halloween is over. [00:00:48] Speaker A: Mariah Carey's full of illness any moment. [00:00:53] Speaker E: The physical reaction to where I carry [00:00:55] Speaker B: that the barrier is weakening. [00:00:57] Speaker C: Yeah, [00:00:59] Speaker A: maybe it's Mariah that's slowing down my Internet connection. [00:01:02] Speaker E: Maybe. [00:01:03] Speaker A: Maybe it's. Everyone has just gone like. All right, it's now the 3rd of November. I need to play Mariah Carey available device in my house. But yeah, this is a Mariah Carey free zone for now. Instead, what we're going to be doing is playing some dagger heart. If you didn't see it on the thumbnail, we're on episode 19 of 20. This is the penultimate episode. Your journey across the Titan Isles has been fraught with danger, fraught with peril. But there have. There have been some upsides. There have been some good times. But we find our heroes having freshly, I guess, unlocked the greatest secret of this mysterious white marble facility. Vault deep within the mountain on the southeastern aisle of the Titan Isles. And you've met a peculiar figure, a peculiar thing who would like to start asking questions. Because I'm hoping you five have quite a few of them. [00:02:23] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:02:24] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:02:24] Speaker D: Nice is quite normal, actually. [00:02:26] Speaker C: Yeah, [00:02:29] Speaker E: just. [00:02:29] Speaker A: Just every day, everyday stuff. It's Mariah Carey. That's who this figure is. Right. Shall we jump into it? [00:02:39] Speaker B: Yes, please. [00:02:40] Speaker A: Let's go. [00:02:41] Speaker E: Let's go. [00:02:55] Speaker B: Hello, I'm Nate and I'll be playing Griffin, a Sanguvar bard. [00:03:01] Speaker C: Hi, I'm Livy and I'm playing Abe, the Guardian keeper. [00:03:07] Speaker E: Hello, my name is Theo and I'll be playing. Playing Cooper, Dragon scent Rogue. [00:03:13] Speaker D: Hi, my name is Georgia and I'll be playing Cassandre, an ace of our sorcerer. [00:03:19] Speaker F: Hi, I'm Tim and I'm playing Gardi Magiani, Druid. [00:03:25] Speaker A: And my name is DM Dan, the games master in this adventure. There is a quiet beauty in the calm before the storm. A stillness that settles over the world like a held breath. It is in this fragile moment between turmoil and triumph. That tension of what is to come lingers in the air. Yet within that silence lies a strange kind of peace. We see one another more clearly, stripped of urgency or fear, and find truths about ourselves that chaos might otherwise drown out. Rest in these moments is not idleness. It is reflection, preparation, and the gathering of strength. For the storm of conflict will come, a herald of exos, wanton destruction, testing what we have learned and who we have become. But when we rise to meet it, we do so not as we were, but as something tempered, sharper and more certain of our purpose. A red sky burns over the Titan isles. The end is nigh. And so we find the five of you plus kick frame stood in front of or stood atop a an approximately 30 to 40 foot wide dias in the center of a large spherical room made of the same glossy white marble that now adorns some of your armor, your clothes, your armor and your weapons. The room has this cold, almost alien feel to it, and you are now that you have a moment to catch your breath, you feel as if the air, the very air you are breathing, is millennia old. Between the six of you in an egg shaped pod made of the same white marble as everything else is a figure. This figure stairs, stares at you. I'm blinking from behind a mask of sharp edges and geometric shapes. The gray robe that hangs off its head drapes low over a breastplate made of the same marble material and a four pointed diamond attached to the front of the hood of the robe thrums and ebbs almost like a heartbeat in a cold jade green, And the figure's words echo almost as a memory of it saying it. Who are you? The figure inquires. [00:08:07] Speaker E: I think maybe Cooper would talk because he was the one who touched the egg. Like I'm kind of a bit overwhelmed by whatever this is. Never seen anything like Just to confirm, Dan, just so we're clear there, we've never seen anything like this. Like this discs or tech. Technology isn't really something that we none of us would ever have seen before, apart from obviously the stuff we saw with the soldiers and the rifles previous. There's just some way on like elsewhere we'd have seen this anywhere else. [00:08:49] Speaker A: So yeah, the soldiers of the Imperium that you've encountered since kind of making your way to this mountain, it is clear that their kind of technology, their grasp of the technology is seemingly above that of Ava Moors. But you it's still recognizable enough that you can recognize that it is more [00:09:16] Speaker E: advanced and like high high science, right? Yeah. [00:09:19] Speaker A: Yeah. It looks like a a development, like a progression of what you or Cass or Griffin or whoever uses or has seen in the streets of Evermore Avonmore. However, as you stare upon this like, seemingly masked figure and you glance, you kind of. You take a moment to glance around the rest of this kind of spherical room and you can see the deactivated forms of the golems that you encountered on the way in. And you know, I. I suspect for some of you, I mean, especially you, if you're a bit of a. Like a vault plunderer. Golems aren't unique. Like, they aren't special. They aren't uncommon. But there's. There is a certain, say, alien intent, like a. A philosophy that seems to have constructed. The figure that you see in front of you, the golems around you, this whole facility, you can't even begin to go to kind of figure out where things were inspired from. So fundamentally. Yes, this seems. In a world of magic, this seems magical. [00:10:53] Speaker E: I think like Cooper will, like, his hands will be kind of not up in surrender, but like up in like, you know, friendly friends with friends. [00:11:07] Speaker D: Cass's hand is on her pistol. [00:11:09] Speaker E: Yes, she would. The rifle. [00:11:14] Speaker F: Yes. [00:11:14] Speaker E: Okay, we are a friend. [00:11:19] Speaker A: As you say that you notice the figure. So the figure in. In this pod, like, has slowly turned its head to face you. And then as you speak, Cass, the figure kind of turns its head to regard you as well. But there's all you. You can almost sense this slow, kind of weighty. There's a weight behind its motions. Like nothing seems to be. It's. It's like a movement of pure efficiency. And as you say, friends, Cooper, there is a slight. You feel the. Like the. The pod in front of you shakes slightly and the front begins to peel down and slide into the DS of like the floor below you. And the figure, no longer confined, takes a step forward and stands in front of the six of you. Query what has befallen this vault. [00:12:57] Speaker E: Cooper will, like, mouth help to Cass. He's like. [00:13:06] Speaker A: Just water me. [00:13:09] Speaker D: I don't know what's going on. Can Cass sense any. Anything magical about this with her magic sense? Does it feel magical? [00:13:24] Speaker A: There is an impressive magical aura emitting from this individual. But interestingly, like matt mana by nature ebbs and flows and kind of peaks and troughs. I can only this. The feeling you get stood in front of this. This robed figure. It would be like you or I, Georgia, standing in front of a old television, emitting white static. Like, for some it's comforting, for others, it's grating, but it's constant. It's almost static. Yes, a staticky kind of. But you've. I Can't imagine you will have ever felt like an arcane emanation like this from anything you've seen before. [00:14:35] Speaker D: I think after this sort of brief exchange with Cooper, Castle turn to look at this. This creature. And she was like, how long have you been down here? [00:14:52] Speaker A: Clarification. What is the astrological date? [00:15:01] Speaker D: What is the date? Dan, [00:15:06] Speaker A: we are three and a bit years post esp. [00:15:14] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:15:18] Speaker D: Castle, give her understanding of the current date, whatever it happens to be in elsewhere terms, either new or pre eschaton. [00:15:29] Speaker A: Okay. As you. So as you give the date, you know, with three years post eschaton, like when we went into the war, it was the year. The figure like slowly turns its head back to regard you. Error given date outside of acknowledged parameters. Incompatible date format. [00:16:02] Speaker C: It's like the millennium bug all over again. [00:16:11] Speaker A: The figure Cass, as this figure kind of has. Has its head turned to you. You in this moment, you're able to like now that it's stepped out of its pod, you can see that in the kind of the thin rectangular slits it has for eyes. There is just a darkness. You can't see the glint or the light of living eyes beneath this mask. [00:16:43] Speaker D: I think Castle turned. If Gardi is sort of next to her, she'll go. I think it's some sort of enchanted armor. It feels off. [00:16:56] Speaker A: Correction system Designate Epitaph is a sentient arcane intelligence construct purpose to collect catalog and chronolog chronicle knowledge amassed by ancestral designate Eldavar. [00:17:22] Speaker C: What was Kick Fran doing? Right now? [00:17:25] Speaker D: He's just booking it out of here with his book. [00:17:29] Speaker C: He brought us here. [00:17:31] Speaker A: I'm faster than this. He just has to run faster than you. No Pig Fran. I mean we know that Kick Fran is relatively unflappable in. In most things with that this almost like smug, almost smug demeanor about him. He has like. He still stood by the console that he retrieved this sort of like rectangular book sized block of light from. And he. He's sort of like pocketed that in his kind of bag. But he is looking towards the. Well, but this thing calls itself the Epitaph. But K. Friend is looking at the epitaph and like there is genuine confusion be wonderment, like curiosity, intrigue etched across his face. Like Kick Friend seems absolutely stumped and is fascinated for it. [00:18:33] Speaker F: Dan, what would the oldest like wide scale historical event be that I might have heard of? So like maybe a major war or something from ages and ages ago. [00:18:49] Speaker A: Like the oldest stories would be, you know, myth of creation, the dragons like the 20 iron. A calm having, you know, have. And their 18 children. Creating the peoples of elsewhere. Create. Creating elsewhere. Populating it with the peoples and the. And the animals and you know, sculpting elsewhere to be the. The beauty that it is. That's. That's the oldest story and general. Genuine, generally accepted. Because this is a world where like clerics and priests can speak to the gods. [00:19:36] Speaker F: I can speak to the dragon Epitaph. Was it [00:19:47] Speaker A: Affirmation? Correct. [00:19:50] Speaker F: My name is Gadi. Are you. What do you know of the dragons? What do you know of Iron A Khan. [00:20:07] Speaker A: Declaration. Dragons. Beings of divine power. Beings of divine power. The dragons are known to rule over the world. Known to rule over the world. Designate Elsewhere. [00:20:39] Speaker F: Are you from elsewhere? [00:20:44] Speaker A: Affirmation. Correct. [00:20:48] Speaker F: And how. How long. How long ago did. How long after the dragons were you imprisoned here? [00:21:00] Speaker C: The. [00:21:01] Speaker A: The epitaph turns its heads to you and again like this time you're. You're kind of locked into this unblinking gaze. So the question was how long, I suppose. [00:21:19] Speaker F: How long after the creation of the dragons was the entombed here? [00:21:37] Speaker A: Statement. Observation. With no. With no formative context for astrological dating. It is. It will be difficult and. Or inaccurate to answer this question. [00:22:19] Speaker C: How big is this man? Big. [00:22:22] Speaker A: The epitaph is approximately. A little short. King. No, The. The epitaph stands about seven. Like high. Seven feet. Like seven foot. [00:22:34] Speaker B: Seven. [00:22:35] Speaker C: Right. Smaller than. [00:22:36] Speaker A: Smaller than Ab. But taller than pretty much everyone else. The epitaph looks up to you. And Look. Carry on. Carries on looking at you. Guardi. Query. Scans of your physical forms indicated that you are not designate. Ancestral designate Eldar. Query. What has become of the Eldavar? [00:23:30] Speaker F: And none of us here. Eldarvar. [00:23:35] Speaker A: The epitaph looks like. Head slowly rotates to regard the six of you. Confirmation. Structural similarities with ancestral designate Eldarvar. However, respective. Respective physical composite forms show deviations. Deviations to known ancestral designate Eldafar parameters. [00:24:25] Speaker D: Is he talking about something that existed before us? [00:24:33] Speaker C: Well, I suppose so. It's Geldavar. Laura Var Sangu of Ar. Do you reckon it's some kind of before Var? [00:24:47] Speaker D: Like an old prevar [00:24:51] Speaker C: Keeper? [00:24:55] Speaker E: I mean, that's not my name, but sure. [00:24:57] Speaker A: Okay. [00:24:58] Speaker C: Oh, a keeper. [00:25:02] Speaker B: Of course. [00:25:03] Speaker E: Of course you're a keeper. [00:25:05] Speaker F: A Major. [00:25:13] Speaker D: Is there anything in Cass's extensive research or her family's extensive research of the world? Obviously it's changed a lot since the war in the eschaton. That would have suggested there is something that we evolved from or a sense of knowledge of evolution maybe. [00:25:32] Speaker A: Well, as weird as it is to say. Well, I mean so fundamentally, yes. I mean, the. In the. In the stories of creation, the dragons started with nothing, created the world, created the skies, the seas, the. The. The. The. You know, the ground filled. Filled them with stars and life and light and you know, created the first of the mortals. And we know. So that as a. As a native r. You know that the Acevar are a kind of an ancestral offshoot of the Loravar. Fundamentally, the Loravar that decided to kind of scale mountains, build their cities in the mountain, like in the mountains, you know. Ac. Acvar. Literally kind of high. Airy. Airy ones. Airy souls. So in that sense. But then, you know, the. The differences between. Whilst there are physical differences between Asavar and Larovar, you know, they still have a same kind of core. Like shared and like lineage, shared heritage. But never have you ever seen books or scriptures or any research referring to Eldavar. And I guess it. The thing that you're probably finding a bit odd is that in the space of. Since this morning, you have heard this term used by the epitaph to your face and here, and it's acknowledged you are deviated from understood Eldavar parameters. But the term, the name Eldarvar was also mentioned by the imperial goblin soldier that you were interrogating. [00:27:53] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:27:55] Speaker A: And used in an almost mocking term, as in a mocking insult, because you didn't know what the Odovar was. So this. This. If certainly for you, Cass, this would seem somewhat revelatory. Groundbreaking. [00:28:17] Speaker D: Yep. Deeply interested in this little creature. Big creature. [00:28:24] Speaker A: Yes. And sorry, just. Just to conclude, like looking around, you know, you are in this unmistakably ancient hidden vault that predates your wildest imaginations, filled with technology that we can barely understand. And there is this thing in front of you saying you are derived from Eldovar. So I can't. [00:28:59] Speaker F: Yeah, sorry. I was just wondering with you mentioning that AC is like a linguistic construct meaning like, you know, higher altitude elves. Does the Elder mean anything to any of us in terms of that word? [00:29:19] Speaker A: It's somewhere between ancient and first. [00:29:28] Speaker D: First Var. [00:29:32] Speaker A: So Var. Me being what? Meaning one in a personal term, like I am so Lauriver. The. The literal translation of Larovar is noble one, noble soul. You know, noble. Noble person like. No noble soul is probably the closest to it. So. First sound. [00:30:07] Speaker C: Are you. Eldavar says, looking at the ma' am. [00:30:17] Speaker A: Response negative system designate. Epitaph is a sentient arcane intelligence construct purpose to collect catalog. And [00:30:30] Speaker F: he's an enchanted armor. [00:30:33] Speaker C: What you made. [00:30:34] Speaker D: I told you. [00:30:35] Speaker C: Eldavar [00:30:39] Speaker A: affirmation Correct. Smart. [00:30:48] Speaker B: Smart boys. [00:30:51] Speaker D: For life. [00:30:56] Speaker C: Right? So you were said air. Well, you were made by Eldevar to chronicle stuff about Eldevar. But there ain't no Eldivar anymore. And they put you in this tomb and then we just woke you up. Is that kind of. Is that a pretty good summary? [00:31:14] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:31:15] Speaker C: Mr. Epitaph, sir. Epitaph. [00:31:22] Speaker A: Explanation Ancestral designate Eldovar A people who exist. Correction. Existed upon the world. Designate elsewhere. Continuation. A thriving singular civilization successful in the total cultivation of the world. Designate Elsewhere as well as a paraphysical realms. Designate elemental planes. Continuation. The Eldervar twisted reality to their whims, harnessing the flow of etheric particulate that is found naturally in all living things. Continuation. Ancestral designate Eldovar Strive to learn more and more of arcane Designate Manner as knowledge was the only barrier to exponential growth of self and society. Continuation Error System Designate Epitaph Cannot access further records. Subject Designate fall of the Eldar. Warning reads Knowledge has become the death of us. We have learned too much. End Warning. Kick Fran steps forward and like steps forward along in in amongst the the five of you. He's a walking library. A walking encyclopedia. And that's why they locked him up. [00:33:29] Speaker C: Well, I guess too much knowledge can corrupt. Maybe. [00:33:37] Speaker D: What else do you do with a rare book? You put it somewhere safe. [00:33:42] Speaker F: Our people have a tradition where we'll sometimes in a particular holy site we'll bury a box with items of significance and scrolls. And then when our people next return, which can be many years later, we can unearth it and see what has changed. Perhaps he's something like that either that [00:34:05] Speaker B: they needed to keep him safe. [00:34:09] Speaker A: Kick Fran tips his head and I I don't think. I think there's something more than that. Guardi and he gestures like he points at the kind of deactivated golems around the the room that you're in. These weren't protectors. These were jailers. The ferocity or the ferocity of which they they were attempting to this I've had my fair share of unending imprisonment. I I just have a feeling that these were here not to keep things out, but to keep this. He says, gesturing of the epitaph in [00:35:16] Speaker C: do you know we can hear us? [00:35:20] Speaker A: The epitaph has turned its attention to Kick frown and Kick Fram visibly kind of shirks away slightly like takes rare step back like the shoulders raise a little bit. Observation. You are correct. [00:35:48] Speaker F: Epitaph. How do you say it? Query. Why are you in here? What happened? [00:36:00] Speaker A: Explanation. Based on Based on previously previously loaded Warning. It can be deduced the knowledge contained within this unit was deemed dangerous and or heretical. [00:36:27] Speaker F: And yet you destroyed. [00:36:31] Speaker D: By who? [00:36:34] Speaker A: So what was that, Tim? [00:36:37] Speaker F: I just said? And yet you weren't destroyed. [00:36:48] Speaker A: Hypothesis Perhaps. Perhaps containment of Unit designate Epitaph was deemed safer than destruction of Unit designate Epitaph. Alternate hypothesis. Unit design Epitaph may have been scheduled for decommission. However unexpected. Unexpected parameters leading to fall of the Eldarvar may have prevented plans being brought to action. Kick Fran looks to the five of you. Do you consider yourself a weapon? And the Epitaph slowly turns its head to regard Kickfan again. Observation. Based on security protocols enacted by Ancestral designate Eldevar, it can be assumed that Unit designate Epitaph is a weapon. Accessing arcane mana reserves. And you watch as lines of green light begin to trace between the grooves of the armor plating and the gems that festoon firstly its hood and the. The diamonds along its gauntlets begin to glow. And the Epitaph holds its hand up. And you watch as this jade moats of light, like an orb of light appears above its open palm. And then the Epitaph slowly sort of begins tilting its head like a child looking into a fish tank at an aquarium. And you watch as the light begins to solidify into white marble. Confirmation. Arcane conjuration protocols active. And as he says that. As it says that, the fingers of the open hand relax and the white marble orb melts back into a jade green light and then vanishes like starlight. [00:40:12] Speaker B: So we're keeping him, right? [00:40:22] Speaker A: Kick Fran? Kind of. Everyone's. Everyone's looking around and. Kick Fran says he. This is as fascinating as this is. I have retrieved what I've come for. And as we promised, he says, glancing to you, Cooper, and then you, Griffin. Anything else of importance or use for your fight. Your battle against EXO is yours. Enjoy your epitaph. [00:41:04] Speaker B: Kick Fran. Who told you that? Something like. Like. Like. Obviously the person who wanted something down here was like, you've got your thing. Fine. Cool. But who knew about something like this down here? [00:41:26] Speaker A: Kick from. My. My patron has discovered many of elsewhere's little secrets, And my. My duty is to simply investigate them. And if they prove to be useful secrets, I bring back what is required of me to bring back. I said. I've said to Cooper in the past, and I was not being false. We knew of the location of this fault, but we did not know the nature of it or what lay within. I couldn't even begin to dream of a. Of a construct as sentient as this, he says. Regarding the epitaph. This is a marvel. I suspect if my patron did in fact know of this, the existence of this epitaph, she would likely want me to bring this back to. But that is not what I've been asked to do, so that is not what I shall do. [00:42:59] Speaker E: Let's keep it that way. We have the bargain. [00:43:08] Speaker A: Correct? I. As per our agreement, I have. You have helped me to achieve what I have come to you. You've helped in allowing me to gain. Obtain what it. What it was I was to obtain. Everything else here is for you. I see you've also found some other loot along the way. [00:43:42] Speaker E: Yes. I'm not disputing that. My. My request is that this does not get passed on either. I would consider that only fair. If it is out of sight, it is out of mind. [00:44:08] Speaker A: Kick friend looks to you. And there's Ace. There's suddenly a. An almost dangerous look on his face. You know just as well as I do, Cooper, that future tasks [00:44:36] Speaker E: will fall [00:44:36] Speaker A: outside of any contract that have been agreed upon up until now. But my patron is fair, if nothing else. If she deems it necessary to investigate this epitaph further, then perhaps we can come to some sort of new agreement. It's just business. I'm sure you understand. Of all people, Cooper. [00:45:19] Speaker E: Sure. [00:45:19] Speaker F: It strikes me that a fine business decision is that we have another way to prevent this information leaving this room. If you'd rather not agree with us, [00:45:33] Speaker A: The Kick Fran like, right, you know, raises eyebrows. I can't help but get the feeling that whatever this epitaph is capable of will likely be truly useful in your battles to come. What you decide to do with it after is completely up to you. I'm sure having. Having this marvel help you. You know, I'm sure having this marvel help you save the Titan Isles before you put it back into storage isn't going to endanger anyone. [00:46:21] Speaker F: Do not make enemies of us, Kick Fan. We've come too far for that. [00:46:27] Speaker A: Kick Fran nods. That was not my intention. Well, with that in mind, shall we? The five of you have an archipelago to save. [00:46:58] Speaker E: I feel like Cooper will. I think he will just not really care about Kyfran at this point. I think he. I think he goes up to the epitaph. I said we were friends before. We should introduce ourselves. We need your help. [00:47:27] Speaker A: We would. [00:47:28] Speaker E: If you can help us save this island. It would be amazing. [00:47:38] Speaker A: Query. What is the extent of the aid required and the problem presented? [00:47:48] Speaker D: Knowledge. We need knowledge. [00:47:56] Speaker A: The epitaph Nods. And it's. You find it slightly jarring to see it do such a mortal gesture? Confirmation unit designate. Epitaph has knowledge. Query. Not query Declaration. Unit designate. Epitaph requires further exposure to acknowledge threat. To acknowledge scope of threat. [00:48:44] Speaker D: I think Cass will consider this and turn to Cooper. That thing you can do, your connection to Exo. Can you do it to him? [00:49:06] Speaker E: I don't really know. It kind of comes and goes. I can. I can try and share. [00:49:14] Speaker F: Cass, you remember what we did with the Hamajider? [00:49:19] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:49:20] Speaker F: Perhaps we can do the same with Coop somehow. [00:49:24] Speaker D: That's what I'm thinking. You can make that connection. He can see what we're facing. My family's always believed that knowledge is power. [00:49:42] Speaker F: You got some sort of mind reading ability, do you? [00:49:44] Speaker C: Epitaph. [00:49:45] Speaker F: That'd save us some time. [00:49:51] Speaker A: The. The epitaph. The epitaph once again turns its palm. It's its hand. Palm up. And another. Like light. Orb of dread. Light materializes above its fingers. Explanation. Place your hands within the mote of light. To link flow. To link etheric flow. Data can then be processed. [00:50:35] Speaker C: Okay, hold up, hold up though, because, you know when we saw [00:50:43] Speaker A: MacIver. [00:50:44] Speaker C: Not MacIver. Yeah, Algova. Remember when we saw Mel Gover and she was like, you know, she was corrupted by like a. Like. Like an orb, wouldn't she? Like, what if he's gonna just zap your brain? Like, how do we crushed him? He's just like a guy that's just come out of the earth. Like, what if he's evil? You might just touch him and then you'll go mad. Dir. [00:51:20] Speaker F: You can hit him with an axe. [00:51:22] Speaker C: Cooper. Well, I guess. All right, I'll have a. That. We'll have that as a. As an underline. If Cooper goes mad, I will kill him. [00:51:35] Speaker E: I expect nothing less from you. Abe. It's fine. Okay. [00:51:39] Speaker C: You know, it's like a dog that goes a bit weird. You just got. [00:51:43] Speaker E: We get it. We get. Is really funny. Okay? [00:51:50] Speaker A: It's the hardest thing that anyone has to do. [00:51:56] Speaker E: Let's kill the rat boy. [00:51:57] Speaker D: Dragon. Murder their dragon. [00:51:59] Speaker F: That film. That film. Old Yellow Dragon. [00:52:02] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. [00:52:04] Speaker D: Oh, [00:52:10] Speaker C: No, I can't. [00:52:11] Speaker E: I can't do this anymore. Right. [00:52:12] Speaker A: I'm just gonna. [00:52:12] Speaker E: I'm just gonna put my hand in. [00:52:14] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. So, Cooper, you're putting your hand in. So fundamentally, like, obviously this is a bit sci fantasy, but this orb that is conjured is effectively like a. A hub. And anyone that connects to it, like touches it, will be able to like, mind meld, mind link. With. And then the Epitaph will be able to read the mana. [00:52:38] Speaker C: Oh, thank you. [00:52:40] Speaker A: So Cooper's putting hand in. Who else is? If anyone. [00:52:46] Speaker C: No. [00:52:48] Speaker F: Just goes mad first. [00:52:50] Speaker A: Okay. [00:52:52] Speaker D: Cooper's our canary. [00:52:55] Speaker A: So, Cooper, as you put your hands into this orb, you have this, like. Your knees buckle slightly as it feels like the floor has just fallen away from underneath you. And the walls of this place soar off into the distance until it feels like you're just floating in an empty space of jade green stars and constellations with this or being the only thing anchoring you in place. And on the other side of the glow, the unblinking gaze of the epitaph. And you feel like you. The. The space has become so large, you feel cold. You feel weightless in this moment. What memories are you bringing to the surface for the Epitaph to Chronolog to chronicle? [00:54:03] Speaker E: I'm going to show him our first fight with Exo. [00:54:09] Speaker A: Okay. [00:54:11] Speaker E: I'm gonna show him blowing up Dollar Shell from what I remember and the after effects of that. [00:54:20] Speaker A: Yep. [00:54:21] Speaker E: I'm going to try and concentrate on everything I can in regards to, like, anything that involves Exo's connection to me. Anytime. Like the first time he appeared in the mirror and talked to me, anytime he's tried to speak to me. [00:54:45] Speaker B: The. [00:54:45] Speaker E: The vivid, like visceral memory with heart. [00:54:56] Speaker A: Okay. [00:55:03] Speaker E: Memories of Exo connecting to me and talking about Kvotha and all that stuff. [00:55:11] Speaker A: Okay. Observation. Threat designate Exo Draven shows signs of. Shows signs of etheric contamination. Speculation. Threat designate Exo Draven has become corrupted by presence of primal manner. Assessment. Threat designate Exo Draven. Considered Threat level absolute. Continuation of. Continuation of threat designate Exo Dravens. Objectives will result in catastrophic damage to Vault. Conclusion. Eldervar Vault must be protected. Conclusion. Unit designate Epitaph will aid you in the fight in the battle against threat designate Exo Draven. [00:56:46] Speaker E: Good. Good. [00:56:47] Speaker F: That's. [00:56:47] Speaker E: That's great. Thank you. [00:56:52] Speaker A: Observation. Individual designate Cooper shows signs of corruption of divine magic. [00:57:08] Speaker E: Yep. Figured that might be the case. Can you fix that? Do you know how I could fix that? That would be great. [00:57:20] Speaker A: Calculating. Observation. Arcane Corruption shows similarities to deity designation Kervosa. Conclusion. Conclusion. Divine corruption is deep set within. Within the physical construction of individual Designate Cooper, corruption may not be removed. Hypothesis. Power derived from Corruption may be used by individual designate Cooper. [00:58:15] Speaker E: Okay, that was kind of what was happening. That's good. At least that. That's fine. It's not causing me more harm. [00:58:20] Speaker B: Right. [00:58:21] Speaker E: Okay. [00:58:23] Speaker A: Clarification. Use of latent Divine mana within individual designate Koopa has not yet been achieved. [00:58:41] Speaker B: Oh, [00:58:44] Speaker C: you got secret powers. [00:58:48] Speaker E: Okay, I think. I think Cooper's just like. What? Like he thinks about his invisibility that he's been suddenly being able to do every. Oh, okay. [00:59:00] Speaker F: And he's got pig blood. [00:59:05] Speaker D: Gotta carry this, man. [00:59:09] Speaker C: Okay, [00:59:11] Speaker E: well, thank you for this, I think. I guess with that, Cooper will remove his hand from the OR and hope he just goes back to where he [00:59:28] Speaker A: was and the world shrinks back in on you. [00:59:36] Speaker D: Did. [00:59:36] Speaker C: Did we hear anything of that conversation? Or is it all in Cooper's head? [00:59:42] Speaker A: The remain. The four of you plus Kick Fran. Witness Cooper place his hand into the jade green orb. His knees buckle, and then he falls. His hand is removed, and Cooper is kind of gasping for breath. [01:00:03] Speaker C: I'm gonna. Abe grabs him. [01:00:05] Speaker A: Okay. [01:00:07] Speaker C: And who are you? [01:00:09] Speaker A: Like, for all. Like, it has been less than a second. Well, it's probably the second. But most that Cooper's put his hand in needs buckled. And he's fallen backwards to be caught by Abe. [01:00:26] Speaker C: Fire right into his eyes. Look normal. Abe's just like this close to his head. [01:00:35] Speaker E: I forget you don't know much about personal space. I'm fine. [01:00:39] Speaker C: You feeling all right? [01:00:40] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:00:44] Speaker D: What? [01:00:48] Speaker E: It's fine. He's gonna help. I assume he pronouns. We should check that. I. I don't. That's fine. Everything's fine. [01:00:58] Speaker C: All right, let's drop it again. [01:01:01] Speaker A: Confirmation unit designate. Epitaph identifies as it. [01:01:07] Speaker C: Okay. [01:01:08] Speaker B: Phew. [01:01:13] Speaker C: What happened? Because you just, like, put your hand on him and then you went. And then you came back again. [01:01:18] Speaker E: I felt like I was flying in the air, which was weird. Showed him all the exo stuff. He was like, yeah, big problem. Yeah, it was like, yeah, problem. Apparently secret for all of us. The Kevofa thing. I have dormant power. Have not yet used. Don't know what that is. If anyone would like to assist me with that, that would be great. Could be useful. I don't know what it is. He does look a little panicked about [01:01:53] Speaker C: from, like, dormant, like. But it's Kick Fran. Oh, got Kick Fran. Shut up. Kick Fran. Kevl not you. Kick Fran. [01:02:10] Speaker F: Just pops in from off camera. [01:02:11] Speaker A: You're, like, [01:02:16] Speaker C: careful for. Do you really want to, like, release that, like, power? [01:02:22] Speaker E: I mean, if it helps. With exo willing to give it a shot. But I don't know. [01:02:29] Speaker C: Is it the same, though? Because that's. He's gone a bit do Lally if I don't. [01:02:35] Speaker A: If. If nothing else, I will just quickly jump in. Cooper, for the first time in A long time. You recently had this feeling of like, unity with the voice in the back of your head. The concept of going toe to toe with. With exo. [01:02:57] Speaker E: Exo essentially pissed Keva off. So I think Kevofa is actually on our side at this point. So, like, if it feels. It feels okay. It feels okay. Like, weirdly okay. Yeah. You know, if I go mad. [01:03:15] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:03:15] Speaker E: Do the thing. I'm. I'm for it. But if it helps. If that helps. [01:03:28] Speaker C: All right, well, does anyone else want to touch. [01:03:37] Speaker F: Don't let him take your. Your knowledge, Abe. Your valuable knowledge. [01:03:43] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, I got. I'm not touching him. I got way too much in here. [01:03:49] Speaker A: No, [01:03:52] Speaker C: my encyclopedia of animals, [01:03:59] Speaker E: It. [01:04:00] Speaker A: I mean, if no one's. No one's offering to mind link with the Epitaph. Kick. Fran. Sort of like, you know, looks. Looks round to the. The five of you and I'm going. I'll. I'll head outside to make sure that there are no Imperial soldiers or patrols to come searching for us. [01:04:28] Speaker B: No, no, you stay. [01:04:29] Speaker E: You stay with us. [01:04:30] Speaker B: You stay with us for the time being. [01:04:37] Speaker A: If you. If you have need of me, you'll find me outside. Kick. Run. Begins walking down, say this circular DS that you stood on, this. That was once this large 60 foot pillar that kind of rose up through this spherical room. He begins walking down the steps and then sort of like out, but, you know, back fundamentally the way you came. [01:05:09] Speaker D: I don't trust him. [01:05:11] Speaker F: I mean, two minds. If we should have let him leave you in the first place. [01:05:15] Speaker C: We will get him. I can get him. [01:05:20] Speaker B: Should we just get out of here now? Have we got anything else we need to. [01:05:24] Speaker C: Well, can the. Can the Epitaph, like, easy does he walk? [01:05:29] Speaker A: Yep. Yeah. Now it's free of the pod. It's taken steps out of the pod. [01:05:36] Speaker C: Baby Yoda just moves around. [01:05:41] Speaker F: One last question. Epitaph. The. The item that the man who just left took from this room. What was it? [01:05:55] Speaker A: The epitaph turns its head to regard Kick. Fram. Assessing individual designate. Kick. Friend appears to have obtained. To have obtained a revelation. [01:06:29] Speaker F: Which is [01:06:33] Speaker A: explanation. Revelation first meaning a tome of knowledge. A. A reset, a receptacle for of understanding that may be passed from one to another. Seconds. Seconds. Explanation. Revelation. Translated Apocalypse. [01:07:05] Speaker B: Oh, good. [01:07:14] Speaker E: That's such a down. Really brought the mood down. It's like we have a new friend. What do you mean? He has an apocalypse? [01:07:22] Speaker A: What do you mean? So nerd corner here. Turns out the word revelation literally has two meanings. One of them is when you find out something unsuspect unexpectedly. And also the Greek is the Greek word or for apocalypse. [01:07:42] Speaker E: Hate that. [01:07:44] Speaker A: But within the like, I. I suspect it's prob. Like you. You may well have just had the reactions you've had. But bearing in mind what the Epitaph has also kind of explained that the Elder seemingly have like, criminal. Criminalized knowledge. And the warning that, so, you know, the Epitaph was unable to. To access some of its memories, if you will. And that warning that it had read out knowledge has become the death of us. We have learned too much. [01:08:31] Speaker E: I think we should get out of here. [01:08:34] Speaker A: Okay. [01:08:35] Speaker E: Got places to be, an exos to fight. [01:08:38] Speaker A: Okay. [01:08:39] Speaker E: Punch in the nose. [01:08:43] Speaker C: Are you with us? [01:08:55] Speaker A: Okay. So are the five of you making your way out of the. This Eldervar vault? [01:09:03] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, we, we, we. [01:09:06] Speaker E: Me and. Me and Abe grab some loot. So at some point we need to know what it was we looted. [01:09:12] Speaker A: Tell you what we can do real quick. So you managed to acquire six bits of loot. We're going to use the same loot kind of generation mechanic as before. These can either be, you know, more permanent loot roles or more powerful but temporal, but one off consumable roles. However, your six each of the six loot kind of tokens that you have, loot points that you harvested during the exploration of the vault. Each one equates to either two D12 or D12 plus 6. [01:10:06] Speaker C: Well, about big, potentially large battle. Do we want to go powerful one? Temporary. [01:10:25] Speaker D: Yeah. Do we want to go health potions or do we want to go potential weapons? [01:10:32] Speaker C: Well, yeah, [01:10:35] Speaker F: I'm mostly just excited to roll the biggest possible number, so you should probably ignore my opinion on it. [01:10:40] Speaker D: Do we want another glider? [01:10:42] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:10:43] Speaker C: Do we want another glider? [01:10:48] Speaker B: Glider. [01:10:50] Speaker A: If any of you take a moment to kind of speak with the Epitaph about it as an alternative, let's say. So each role can be on one of those two tables. Either two D12 per loop point or D12 plus 6. [01:11:06] Speaker E: Or [01:11:09] Speaker A: a loop point can create a tier 3 weapon or armor of your choice. Like the Epitaph can fundamentally mold the marble into your weapon or armor because clearly this solid marble like material is malleable and made of mana that the Epitaph can conjure and construct. So you've literally been walking on magic this whole time? [01:11:42] Speaker C: I'm working on magic. [01:11:49] Speaker A: Demonetized. So we weren't monetized. We're monetized. Mariah Carey is gonna come to steal our monies. [01:12:02] Speaker C: So each loot point equals tier three. [01:12:07] Speaker A: Each loot point will create a Weapon or an armor. And then we just, like, we upgrade your weapon or armor to tier three or. Yes. Or we. Yeah, we use it to roll on the loot tables. Say that again, [01:12:39] Speaker C: Mike, for me. [01:12:41] Speaker A: You're getting so excited. You're no longer talking. [01:12:45] Speaker C: Can I have one loot point for me to make weapon. [01:12:50] Speaker A: To make weapon big weapon. [01:12:56] Speaker C: Can I have two? Find my current Tier 3 weapon with my other Tier 3 weapon to make a Tier 6. [01:13:10] Speaker F: We haven't invented. [01:13:11] Speaker A: You can. And then the sheer awesomeness just explodes. A just. Just melts. He becomes Starlight. [01:13:21] Speaker C: Thought I was a tier two weapon, not a tier three weapon. [01:13:23] Speaker A: Old reliable. Is now new reliable because it got upgraded [01:13:29] Speaker C: three. [01:13:29] Speaker A: It's tier three. So, yeah, Abe's got tier two armor. Cooper's got tier two weapon. Griffin's got tier two weapons. Cass has got a tier two armor. Guard is got tier two weapon. [01:13:48] Speaker E: What about the rifles? [01:13:51] Speaker A: So the rifles. So the rifles are tier three. [01:13:56] Speaker E: Okay, nice. [01:13:58] Speaker A: So, however, I will gently remind Cooper and Cass that there was a point where Cass was enthusiastic about inspecting these weapons, because right now, you. You're just pulling the trigger. You don't 100 know what's going on with them. [01:14:19] Speaker E: Yeah. Yeah, that's right. [01:14:21] Speaker D: Cass is very happy to have a look at these and also our new friend. [01:14:25] Speaker E: Okay, so just to check, so we have six loot points. [01:14:31] Speaker F: We. [01:14:31] Speaker E: We could essentially, all of us, have a new Tier 3 weapon each. And then, like, you could do that. [01:14:38] Speaker A: You could spend five points, and then all of you would end up with both Tier 3 weapons and armor. Whereas at the moment, between the five of you, you've got either a Tier 3 weapon or Tier 3 armor. Whatever you decided to upgrade in R. So, yeah, for five points, you could just outfit every. Everyone with. You get a shield. Tier three shield. [01:15:06] Speaker B: You can get some tier three knuckle dusters, [01:15:11] Speaker E: something on your horns. [01:15:18] Speaker A: If you want to spend the loot points on rolls on the tables, you can either you chance it by rolling 2D12, or you can, like, get a safe bet by rolling D12 +6. Obviously, the better stuff is higher up on the table. So it's like play it safe or gamble. Because if you gamble, you might roll two threes. I mean, if you roll, you might roll two 12s. You don't know. [01:15:46] Speaker F: I'm definitely a lot more excited for rolling for stuff than for getting, like, a guaranteed plus. [01:15:51] Speaker C: Yeah, I only. I always. I don't wear armor, and I've already got a Tier 3 weapon, and Dan said I'm not allowed to Do a world axes. [01:16:00] Speaker D: So got to get that gachapon fixed somehow. Roll for glider. I'm good. [01:16:08] Speaker E: Then let's do it. [01:16:10] Speaker F: We're all. [01:16:10] Speaker E: We're all on for gamble. [01:16:11] Speaker F: Let's go, let's go. [01:16:13] Speaker A: What are we doing? [01:16:16] Speaker B: Consumable or item? [01:16:19] Speaker A: What? [01:16:19] Speaker F: Like, what size is the table that we're rolling on? Like using every single dice for one huge thing or just like it's one to 60? [01:16:30] Speaker D: Oh, gosh. Okay, that's. Yeah. There is a chance we get like a potion of water breathing, which isn't going to help against a massive fire. [01:16:39] Speaker B: And we already have one. [01:16:44] Speaker D: Just chug it in case. [01:16:47] Speaker A: Fall in the water on a fiery battlefield. So. Okay, first things first. How do you want to. How do you want to split up your. Your loot points? Do you like, how many times do you want to roll on the table? [01:17:01] Speaker D: Fundamentally, we want to roll at least twice. [01:17:04] Speaker C: I think. Twice. [01:17:06] Speaker F: Yeah. [01:17:07] Speaker A: Okay. [01:17:07] Speaker C: Yes. You just see two. [01:17:10] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:17:10] Speaker A: Do you want to go three and three, which would be 6012 and 60 12, or do you want to weight them differently? Like four and two, five and one. [01:17:23] Speaker E: Three and three. [01:17:24] Speaker F: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:17:27] Speaker A: Okay, so are you doing one on each or. [01:17:29] Speaker C: Yeah, one on each. [01:17:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:17:31] Speaker A: Okay. So on the loot roll, say you've come. If you're spending three of the six loot points that you gained last session, do you Want to roll 6012 or 5D 12 plus 6? 4D 12 plus 12. 3D 12 plus 18. Like, how many of your six do you want to lock in as a six? [01:17:55] Speaker F: We can't hit the 60 if we lock them in. [01:17:57] Speaker C: Guys, let's just. Let's just do it. [01:18:01] Speaker A: Let's just do it. I. Tim is almost vibrating, so I'll let. This is on the loot roll. [01:18:14] Speaker F: Okay. How many D12 is it? [01:18:16] Speaker A: Sorry? 66. [01:18:19] Speaker F: D12. Delicious. Loot. Here we go. It's moderately good. [01:18:30] Speaker A: 40. I mean, so, I mean, the epitaph, like, takes the items and then kind of unlocks and kind of remoulds and re sculpts them. [01:18:49] Speaker F: Any interest in gliders [01:18:53] Speaker A: and presents you with an infinite bag. When you store items in this bag, they're kept in a pocket dimension that never runs out of space. You can retrieve an item at any time. [01:19:08] Speaker B: Can we just put exo in? [01:19:12] Speaker E: There you go. [01:19:15] Speaker A: Just one. One. Limit time. [01:19:20] Speaker D: Can we put our new best friend in there? Like, like you put a mobile phone. Just put him in the bag. [01:19:25] Speaker C: Put him in the bag. [01:19:28] Speaker A: You have an infinite bag. Okay. Does anyone want to rob Tim of the opportunity to Roll again. [01:19:36] Speaker F: Please do. I'm not feeling good about my infinite bag. [01:19:41] Speaker A: I can. [01:19:42] Speaker B: I can do it. 6012. [01:19:44] Speaker A: 6012. [01:19:45] Speaker C: Come on. [01:19:46] Speaker A: Unless you want to lock in some sixes. [01:19:52] Speaker D: Go. [01:19:53] Speaker C: Should have locked some. [01:20:03] Speaker A: A20. Yeah. You can apply this salve to your neck to breathe underwater. Manifested the water breathing potion. [01:20:22] Speaker D: I'm so sorry. [01:20:25] Speaker E: Go on down. [01:20:25] Speaker A: Let's roll again. We've been ever so good. I will like the epitaph is acknowledged that you don't say. This is jazz about this. [01:20:39] Speaker E: Like the scriven's face. [01:20:41] Speaker F: Like. [01:20:41] Speaker A: Oh, this again. It looks like it's like the home brand version of the one you've already got. Aldi. I will let you re roll in exchange for D4 fear. Ouch. What do you say guys? [01:21:01] Speaker B: I mean he. Dan's got no fear at the moment. [01:21:03] Speaker A: So it's either Dan has no fear. [01:21:06] Speaker F: You need to help the poor guy out. Come on. [01:21:08] Speaker B: And we just have water breathing salve. [01:21:12] Speaker D: Or as we face the giant fire breathing titan. [01:21:17] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:21:18] Speaker F: Underwater. [01:21:20] Speaker D: Underwater. What if we push him into the sea? [01:21:26] Speaker A: I can confirm that the raging inferno is unlikely to be caught on the water. [01:21:34] Speaker C: I think. [01:21:34] Speaker E: Let's do it. He's gonna gain fear at some point [01:21:37] Speaker A: and have your fear one. There you go. You got lucky. You got lucky. One fear for me. [01:21:45] Speaker C: Does that make someone else roll it as well? For what? [01:21:48] Speaker E: Do you want me to roll it this time? [01:21:50] Speaker B: Yeah, go for it. [01:21:50] Speaker A: For you. So do you want to lock in some sixes or do you want to freeball it? [01:21:57] Speaker E: See if I. If I don't and I don't freeball it and we still get a bad roller. I was like, what's the point? Might as well just do all these. [01:22:03] Speaker A: Yeah, go for it. [01:22:06] Speaker E: So 22. [01:22:09] Speaker A: It's just if you lock in. If you lock in four of them, you definitely can't get the gill salve because it'd be 2d12 plus 24. [01:22:24] Speaker F: Think how funny it'd be to get the gill salve again. [01:22:29] Speaker E: So desperately tempted. Okay, Look, I'm gonna do 3D 12 +18. [01:22:37] Speaker A: You'd be very unlucky to get the gill sal. [01:22:40] Speaker E: I'll do 3D12. I'll do 3D12. [01:22:44] Speaker D: Manifesting. [01:22:47] Speaker A: We're looking for a 112 to get G. Almost. [01:22:56] Speaker B: Okay. [01:22:56] Speaker A: 14 plus 18. 24. 32. [01:23:05] Speaker E: What is it? [01:23:06] Speaker B: God, that's a FL. [01:23:07] Speaker E: Water again. [01:23:08] Speaker A: This is. [01:23:08] Speaker E: Or is it good? Is it the smear? [01:23:10] Speaker A: No. Once again, what is it with you lot? I'm rolling 22 for the Gill patch. The. The Underwater breathing and the homic secret potion which makes you your next attack. An auto crit. Yeah, another auto crit potion. Okay, so infinite bag and homic secret potion. If someone can type that in the. In the chat. Just. Sorry. Remember to add that in a sec. Congratulations. You have used usual loot. Cool. So as the. So as the five of you make your way out of the vault, you. Yeah. Heading. You kind of head back into the entrance hall, back up the. The marble stairs, um, until you emerge out onto that kind of triangular dias, um, at the back of the hall that. The cave that has the like the imperial camp. And yeah. As you kind of weave your way between the imperial positions and then merge out, begin emerging your way out into the daylight. Just real quick between Cooper and Cass, the extent of your. Before we go to break, do you want to explore the rifles? How are the tweets going about doing that? What is it you're. You're investigating? [01:24:45] Speaker E: Do we want to give. Show them to the epitaph or do we. Or do you want to look at them directly? Yeah, it's like what do you think of these? No, I don't know. [01:24:56] Speaker A: What. [01:24:56] Speaker D: Cass would probably like to examine the epitaph as well. Considering it is basically a living library. There is a part of her that is very excited about that. So I think there is scope for her to be examining both. [01:25:13] Speaker A: Okay. [01:25:15] Speaker C: Not to break them. [01:25:16] Speaker A: I mean if you. If you're looking to invert commas, kind of investigate the. The epitaph, you can definitely. Like that might be better as a full blown kind of interaction kind of thing. Yeah, but the guns certain. I mean the guns can't talk back. If nothing else, [01:25:37] Speaker D: who's got the better. I suppose it would be knowledge for analyzing. [01:25:47] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, It's. [01:25:49] Speaker D: I've got plus two. What do you have? [01:25:51] Speaker E: Zero. Ms. Cooper, are you surprised? [01:25:56] Speaker A: And the hope to help give Cass advantage. [01:25:59] Speaker B: I can get. [01:26:00] Speaker E: I can spend the hope. Yep. [01:26:02] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. So Cass is your like. Yeah. As you're looking this rifle over properly, as you're kind of making your way out. Yeah. Please run me knowledge with advantage. If you want to spend a hope for one of your experiences, by all means. [01:26:19] Speaker D: What's my hope doing? I've got three hope. I think I'm gonna keep it. [01:26:23] Speaker C: Okay. [01:26:24] Speaker D: Just in case. I sense hope is needed on the horizon. [01:26:29] Speaker A: The bag and the potion are in guardies and Cooper's bags respectively. [01:26:34] Speaker D: 21 with fear. [01:26:36] Speaker A: 21 with fear. Okay, so as you're heading up, you. You're able to like with Your familiarity with your pistol book Cooper's pistol Alimony. There are, sir, There are similarities. There is a manager of some description held within. But unlike your firearm, which you know, fires a literal blast of kind of mana, like magic out of the barrel, in your case, you know, lightning blast of lightning, this thing seems to channel the mana that's held within the gem through a series of like interlinked runes which then, you know, there's no barrel. There's just this sort of like two prongs like fork at the end of the rifle. So the mana almost seems to like coalesce between those prongs and then is as it's propelled forward out of it. So it's in. In that sense it is more akin to like Guardi's staff, like you know, conjuring man and then firing off into the distance or. Or a wand or something like that. But the thing that's cute curious is that unlike alimony, where the mana crystal is integral to the construction, fundamentally the alimony is built around this lightning charged mana crystal. The mana crystals within the Imperial Firearms are removable, almost like on a. Like a clip, if you will. And they look like. As you kind of go, as you're weaving through the Imperial camp, you can see that there are a number of these almost like clips scattered about. And like within each of the. So fundamentally they're kind of clicking these mana crystals into place, firing. And then with your inspection21 with fear, you've acknowledged that actually the crystals have a finite amount of manner in them. Unlike say, you know, with alimony. If you kept on pulling the trigger, it eventually like the shots would get weaker and weaker. [01:29:04] Speaker D: It's a powerful weapon, but it's got a limited number of charges, limited number of charges. [01:29:10] Speaker A: And it seems that the clips that Cooper that they're in the rifles that you and Cooper have. So the fear is that the clips are almost empty. It's difficult to say how many shots they have left until they deplete, but they are nearly depleted. And you know, having a quick scramble around in the camp, you find that the other clips that you can find unattended are also somewhat depleted. But the truly worrying thing is that as you're inspecting these gems, trying to gauge like how much is left, how much manner is left within them. The mana within is arcane in nature, but it's arcane in so much that a soul is fundamentally arcane manner. And these managings, these destroyers, disposable managing, appear to be contained souls. And thinking back to the blood chilling screams whenever the triggers are fired. It would appear that these rifles [01:30:38] Speaker D: are [01:30:39] Speaker A: fundamentally firing blasts of some, literally some poor souls. [01:30:49] Speaker D: The guns are people. The guns are people. [01:30:59] Speaker E: Does Cass explain this to Cooper? [01:31:03] Speaker D: Not in that tone of voice or in that way. [01:31:08] Speaker E: The gods of people. Yeah, the gods of people. Go back. [01:31:15] Speaker A: Yeah, it like these are Soul Gems. Okay, I don't need to go. These are soul gems. And the. The sheer morality of that is just so far distanced to anything that you would find in Avam. And then it dawns on you that every one of the soldiers has a weapon like this. And every one of those soldiers has numerous clips, numerous soul gems to install into the rifles. And perhaps, I mean, I won't speak for you, but perhaps it's a bit of a reprieve that there are no more Imperial soldiers that you can see. So with that little ray of sunshine, as you emerge out of the cave, two little rays of sunshine, the first thing you acknowledge is how much redder the sky has become. A direct result of the encroaching wildfire that is ripping through the Titan Isles from its north eastern corner. And where the sky is red, it will soon give way to the blackened smoke that pours off the flames that are engulfing the the island at an exponentially increasing spe. So with that in mind, as the five of you emerge find Kick. Fran stood on one of the mountain ledges looking northwards towards the raging inferno. He turns to him and says, Rest as well as you can. I fear there will not be another chance before your final battle. And let's grab a quick break. So we will disappear for 10 minutes, then we're gonna do some happy time long rest stuff. We're gonna have some natters and then that'll be it. So if you're watching, thank you, thank you for watching on YouTube and on Twitch. It'll just warm our cockles, but also it will there'll be some extra content, especially when we move out of Campaign 3 into future future things. Yes, let's all grab teas and wheeze. We'll see you in 10 minutes. Hello and welcome back world to Explorers of Elsewhere live. Hi, welcome. Hi, my name is Ian Dan. We are the explorers of Elsewhere and we have returned for part two of episode 19. Oh, we. We're literally at the tail end of the campaign. We are. We are nearly there. So with that in mind, we rejoin our five heroes, our five adventurers on. Would you. Well, I suspect you're on the sort of like the pathways for the outcrops, the outcroppings around the mountain path that leads up to the entrance, like the mining entrance that the keepers of Riceville N had been had kind of established. But with that in, like, are you. Are you taking the opportunity to like, set up a camp, or are you just sort of like, finding logs and stones to. To sit on? [01:35:55] Speaker C: Can you see me? [01:35:56] Speaker A: I can't see anyone. [01:35:57] Speaker B: No, we can see you, Livy. [01:36:00] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:36:03] Speaker A: Do a little refresh and we'll see if that works. Yeah, well, yeah, I mean, are you. Are you. I suspect. Well, are you taking the time to set up a camp or are you just kind of getting a reprieve? [01:36:15] Speaker D: Probably want to make a camp. Like, it's gonna sound a camp to which we can see like, the advance of fire. So probably like not a. An elaborate camp. [01:36:30] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah. [01:36:31] Speaker F: I mean. Oh, sorry. I just want to check as well, like, how. How long have we got until Rice Vilnaar is on Very. On fire. [01:36:43] Speaker A: I would say just a bit longer than a long rest's worth of time. [01:36:50] Speaker B: Okay. [01:36:53] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:36:54] Speaker B: Excellent. [01:36:57] Speaker A: I mean, maybe. Maybe slightly less. Maybe it's like more. But. Yeah, it would seem that, like, you. You are. You are looking at, like the doomsday clock is at 11:58 right now. Like, you're almost there. Like, you're almost at the time where action becomes mandatory. If you're setting up a camp, the. The epitaph, as it walks out into the, like, late morning light, turns its head skywards and regards the world. And Cass, I think it's you that sees the epitaph kind of looking over in your general direction at the. As the. As you're discussing what to do about the camp. And it once again turns its hands like, palm was up, manifests a motive light that then solidifies into an orb of marble. And you watch as the epitaph creates a series of like, tents and seats. And like wind breaks just everything to out out of the smooth white marble that this vault was made of, that it is seemingly made of. And it fundamentally creates a very. Well, like a high quality, like a good, comfortable camp for you to spend some time in. And as it does, just kind of acknowledged, like it seemingly is acknowledging what it's done. And then it levitates. It begins to levitate off the Ground and then kind of floats about 10 to 15ft up in the air and rotates to face the wildfire and his arms kind of go limp at its sides and it just seems to be watching. But yeah, you have a camp. [01:39:12] Speaker D: You. [01:39:13] Speaker A: You may not have an incredible amount of time, but it'll certainly be relatively comfortable the time that you do have. So with that in mind, I'm gonna start down in the bottom corner. What is Gardy's three long rest activities? [01:39:34] Speaker F: Can I look here? I need to clear stress because I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Would anyone like to prepare with me? I prepare with Abe. I feel like last time [01:39:59] Speaker C: I've actually maxed out on hope. So I was. [01:40:02] Speaker F: Oh fine, whatever. [01:40:03] Speaker C: Completely maxed out on hope. I would. [01:40:05] Speaker F: Too good. Too good for gardening. Does anyone need some hope? [01:40:10] Speaker B: I was going to prepare as well, so I can prepare with you. [01:40:13] Speaker F: Cool. Sounds good. And I. I will work on a project. No, I won't. I will. [01:40:32] Speaker C: Use. [01:40:35] Speaker F: What's it called? I'll use Forager. I think. So let's move that out. Move that in. So. Forage is an additional downtime move I can choose. I roll the D6 and I see what I get. [01:41:02] Speaker A: Okay. [01:41:02] Speaker F: It'll be something hopefully handy. Here we go. [01:41:07] Speaker C: Come on. Water breathing potion. [01:41:14] Speaker A: Okay. [01:41:22] Speaker F: It's a luck charm. It allows me to re roll any [01:41:25] Speaker C: die [01:41:27] Speaker F: or whoever uses it. It's just a. It's. It's just a lucky charm I found rooting around at the top of this mountain. [01:41:34] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. So you've got lucky charm. If you note that down because. And then I'll create an item for it. Okay, so you're de. Stressing you're foraging. What's your final? Your third? Well, I suppose it is your final. Yeah. Griffin. Okay. In which case. Yeah. If you gain your two Hope and Griffin. Gates to hope. Griffin, we'll jump up to you. What are you doing with your remaining two activities? [01:42:08] Speaker B: I only have one. I'm not like Gardy who has long rest. [01:42:12] Speaker A: So you get three, right? [01:42:13] Speaker B: No, you only get two. It's just garden that happens to get three. [01:42:16] Speaker A: Okay. What's your. What's your remaining long list? [01:42:20] Speaker B: I mean, if anyone else wants to do another prepare. Because I don't. [01:42:25] Speaker D: I'll do a prepare. [01:42:27] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:42:28] Speaker D: I need to hope. [01:42:30] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:42:30] Speaker A: Okay. [01:42:31] Speaker B: So I'm gonna do two prepares to gain four. [01:42:34] Speaker A: Hope. Griffin, as you're being the little prepare slot. What. What are your respective prepares with Gardy and Cass looking like? [01:42:49] Speaker B: If I can. I would like the prepare to be A chat that I want to have with Gardi in a moment anyway. [01:42:59] Speaker A: Sure. [01:43:00] Speaker B: And probably the same with Cass as well. [01:43:05] Speaker A: Yeah, sure, sure, sure. Okay. Very good, Very good. Okay. So. Yeah, we'll come to that. Back to those in a sec. Okay. Speaking of cast, then, what's Cass doing? So she's prepping and she's prepping. [01:43:17] Speaker D: And she'd like to clear some stress because she is stressed. [01:43:21] Speaker A: She's stressed. Okay. Very good, Very good. So if you. Yeah. Clear down your stress. Let's jump across to Cooper. What's Cooper doing for his two? [01:43:37] Speaker E: Well, I was gonna ask about a [01:43:40] Speaker A: prepare, but prepare on your jack. J. [01:43:44] Speaker E: It's fine. I think you can actually. Yeah, I know you can. [01:43:49] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:43:49] Speaker E: But I also have an armor slot and some stress. Just clear. So I think I'll make those my priority because I do still have two. Hope so. It's not. It's not so bad, but I was like, oh, that could be really handy. I'll use the time to clear some stress and to repair my armor. [01:44:07] Speaker A: Okay. You notice as you're going to, like, repair your, like, because you've got the marble inlay like, coating across your, like, your shoulder, some of your shoulder protection, whatnot. You notice that while you're in the camp, this marble almost, for all extents and purposes, almost seems to be knitting itself back together like it's her self healing even. And you can't. Like, you can't help but glance up at the. The epitaph as he sort of like hovers overhead, tips his hat. Yeah. Yes, you. Yeah. If you roll your armor in stress. And we'll clear those down. And finally, what's Abe doing? [01:44:57] Speaker C: I definitely need to repair armor. So I'm gonna roll my repair armor, see what I get. And then I might need to repair my armor again. Again. [01:45:06] Speaker A: Okay. [01:45:06] Speaker C: With my armor slots. [01:45:08] Speaker A: What's this? I almost made you run out of armor. [01:45:14] Speaker C: So can I do that if I do that? Oh, there we go. [01:45:27] Speaker F: Oh, Livy. If you're not going to be able to heal. Dan, can I. Like, can I retrospectively. [01:45:35] Speaker C: No, I can heal because I rolled at night my armor slots, so I can do all of my armor. [01:45:41] Speaker A: Okay. [01:45:43] Speaker C: Which is great. And then I'm gonna tend my wounds as my other one. 10 hit points. [01:45:56] Speaker A: You can max yourself out, haven't you? [01:45:59] Speaker C: Nice. Perfect. [01:46:07] Speaker A: Okay. Very good. Right. So everyone is relatively topped up. Yeah. You're looking better than you were. Than you were a little while ago. Okay. So with that in mind, let's. Let's start with. Yeah. So Griffin and Garthy, when you were preparing. Yeah. Where Talk me through what, how that goes, what was happening. [01:46:45] Speaker B: I think Griffin's gonna sort of wait until G's on his own, sort of like probably sort of sitting by himself. What, what would, what would Guardi probably be doing, Tim? [01:46:58] Speaker F: Yeah, I think I'm, I'm probably a little way away, kind of sitting cross legged, just looking out over the forest fire. [01:47:08] Speaker B: I think Griffin will come and sit next to you and just say, can I, can I, can I sit here? [01:47:17] Speaker F: Gosh, [01:47:20] Speaker B: I've been, I've been working on something for, for when we sort of have like a little bit of, you know, sort of time to think. I've been working on something, you know, so how like I, how I like manipulated that sending stone, like. [01:47:37] Speaker C: Oh yes. [01:47:39] Speaker B: So I've been, I've been working on that a little bit and I, I, I made you something and he's gonna just hand you just like this normal pebble and he sort of just shows [01:47:53] Speaker A: it to you without any explanation. [01:47:58] Speaker B: Oh, so you can touch it and, and it plays that song you told me where the, where the wind blows to. So when you get homesick you can, you can hear it. And I mean, it's not great because it's the first time I've done it, but if you, hopefully it just makes you, you feel a bit better. [01:48:25] Speaker F: Yeah, I think G just hugs him after a little bit. You can feel that. Your shoulders a little damp. Thanks, Chris. [01:48:42] Speaker B: You're welcome. I sort of wanted to grab you out of earshot of everyone, if that's all right. You, you told me something a couple of nights ago. You know, you were really open with me and I'm, I haven't been honest with everyone and I feel like if there's going to be a time to be honest with everyone, it's probably now. [01:49:17] Speaker F: I'm sure whatever it is, that's. We've had our share of revelations. What's going on? Are you right? [01:49:29] Speaker B: He's going to reach into his pocket, to the pocket of his jacket and he's going to pull out this, this letter. It's sort of burnt around the singes, like burnt around the edges and it looks like it's been, it's fairly worn, but it's unopened. I'm, I've had this for a couple of years now. I'm, I'm, I'm too scared to read it. Will you read it for me? [01:50:08] Speaker F: Well, you've given me a gift, so it's the least I can do to Return the fever. [01:50:17] Speaker B: He's gonna hand you shaking. He's gonna hand you the letter. [01:50:25] Speaker A: So, Nate, please roll me a D3. A D6. Because in the background there have been three letters written by previous players on the channel. And one of these three letters is contained within the envelope that has just been handed to G. So not even Nate knows what's in this envelope. Please roll me a D6 or a D3 so we may figure out which it is. Okay, so you roll a six. If I going to whisper this to you, Tim. So it's going to appear in your foundry Chat. Garbage. And it is up to you whether you. Well, I guess it's whether Gardi reads it out loud or not. [01:52:05] Speaker E: Of course. [01:52:08] Speaker F: My dearest Tobias, do you remember the painting which hung above the bed in my chamber? The proud lighthouse standing defiant amongst the crashing waves. The beacon of safety, defiant in the face of storms. As hard as you love for me, I'm sorry. Sorry that I shunned you in fear of your affliction. My mother. Scripture poisoning my mind with fear, my voice with bile. How silly I was to listen. How silly to assume a devout man could follow you and treat me like you did. And yet I have been betrothed to one. The ceremony is tomorrow. I shan't be there. Meet me at that lighthouse. I shall wait there for 90 days and nights. Its flame the candle I hold for you. Tobias. Come to my beacon. Be my safety. If you do not, then I know your decision and I do not blame you. With regret, hope and love, Eternal Bayam. [01:53:29] Speaker B: Wow. She still loved me. She still loves me. [01:53:50] Speaker D: She. [01:53:50] Speaker B: She was my fiance. She was. We. It was arranged, but through awful political bickering, we fell in love. But when this happened and he sort of goes over his eyes. She had so much fear in her eyes, I just. I thought she. She'd gone. Maybe she's still waiting. Maybe. [01:54:39] Speaker A: Cardi. As Griffin says this to you, as he asks the question of you, You look at the letter again. The delicate handwriting, handwritten script. Your mind rings with the memory, the recent memory of Griffin telling you how long he has had this letter. Years. And your eyes fall on the words 90 days and nights. [01:55:33] Speaker F: Griff or Tobias. Toby. What. What do you. What do you prefer? [01:55:40] Speaker B: Please. Griffin. [01:55:41] Speaker F: Griffin. Griffin. These aren't the words of someone who gives up after 90 days. Kill this bastard. Let's find out. [01:55:58] Speaker A: Yeah? [01:55:58] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:55:58] Speaker F: And then you'll know. [01:56:02] Speaker B: I might have a little bit more of a challenge. I've. I really. I really believed she'd given up on me. And. I may. I've made a deal with Kickram. I've made a deal with him to release Cooper from their deal. And after we finish exo, we're gonna. He's gonna. He's gonna return me back to Sorrow Wind. He's. He's gonna return me back to. [01:56:45] Speaker A: I'm. [01:56:46] Speaker B: I'm next in line. I'm next in line for Stonehouse Froth. And I ran away because I didn't want to be part of that. But all of this. I know that I've got to now face him. And now this. [01:56:57] Speaker E: Oh, [01:57:03] Speaker F: Kiffin. It's. It'll be a. A huge challenge, but bigger than killing a man who's eaten a God. [01:57:17] Speaker A: True. [01:57:18] Speaker F: You're. You're stronger than you think. You're positive in the face of everything, and you'll be okay with this as well. Whether you escape again, you got away once, I'm sure you can do it twice. Whether you can change him, whether. When you become in charge, you can shape it. [01:57:42] Speaker B: I don't think I can change him, but I can try and change something. [01:57:50] Speaker F: All we can do is the best we can follow whether the wind blows, [01:57:57] Speaker B: and he'll smile at that and. And give you a hug as well. Thanks, Gardy. Wow. She still loves me. We [01:58:23] Speaker A: move away from Griffin and Guardi. Where do we find Abe? What's Abe doing? [01:58:40] Speaker C: I think Abe is. Are we sitting on his own? I think he's just sort of obsessively watching the fire get closer to the village and can't take his eyes off of it. I think just unsure of how long. Just knowing that sort of everything rides on the next few hours, basically. [01:59:22] Speaker A: Yeah. As you. As you look up firstly at the epitaph and then. And then sort of like across the camp to your fellow companions. [01:59:52] Speaker E: What. [01:59:55] Speaker A: I guess, what is the prevailing thought in Abe's mind? Like, Abe is not a complex man, but he's in the. He sits in the shadow of this impossible construct, facing. Preparing himself to face off against a literal inferno consuming his home island. An inferno that threatens to devour his own daughter. How's. Where's. Abe's head at? Based on where he was only a few days ago? [02:00:42] Speaker C: Yeah. I mean, his very small world has been turned completely on its head in multiple ways in which he has put aside large amounts of his past. He's finally got a future relationship with his daughter that he never imagined. He's got a future relationship with some other people that he would never imagine. Like, he's actually kind of likes these people and Then he's seen technology that he couldn't even comprehend and gods that he couldn't even comprehend. So his entire world has been completely turned on its head. And despite that being incredibly overwhelming the least, I think he's even more determined that things have to. They just have to go right. They. It has to happen. There is so much riding on this that he can't. Yeah, it's. It's do or die. And I think he's very aware of that as well. And he's kind of happy with that if. If his fate, you know, if he dies, he dies for an actual cause that he thinks is worthy. Whereas I think he last three days ago, he. Alone in a hut. [02:02:29] Speaker A: So as this kind of grim determination sets in, as you glance at the flames that tear across the Titan isles, there is a moment in the way they fly flicker that sparks a memory of the flame red hair of on Exo's head. And you're back in that memory, the two of you in the river. One of the last times that you saw Exo as a. A young man. He was only a young man then, but as your focus returns to the present and you see what Exo has become, what is your feeling and. Or disposition towards him, Towards this boy you watched grow up? [02:03:42] Speaker C: Yeah, I think it. [02:03:46] Speaker D: He's. [02:03:49] Speaker C: He wouldn't know this quote of absolute power corrupts absolutely. But I think that is kind of sums up his hits. He's not. He understands the feelings that maybe Exo would have had. Feeling out of control and a need to prove himself. And it's almost like he's gone. Strayed so far from the path, he isn't even. He's not the boy that he used to know and never will be. But it just feels a bit sort of like just sad. It's just sad that someone has turned to such means to prove themselves. [02:04:41] Speaker A: Okay. [02:04:41] Speaker C: You know. [02:04:43] Speaker A: Yeah. Well, as you taking a deep breath tinged by the soul smoke that rises from the north, we peel away from Abe and head over to Cooper. And Cooper, you have from across the camp, I suspect you will have seen Griffin speaking with Guardi. Them kind of sitting together for a little while and then Griffin kind of saying his, like finishing his. His prepare. His prepare. [02:05:34] Speaker C: Action. [02:05:36] Speaker A: As Griffin leaves Elsa in the camp. I believe you wanted to have a moment with Gi. [02:05:44] Speaker E: I did. I did. I think Cooper's had a lot on his mind, And he's. I think he's not a man who enjoys sitting with his emotions. I think they get very heady and very overpowering. For him. So that's why he is very good at, like, brushing them off or, like, pushing them away or being comedic. And I think now he has to really sit with them. Like there's no real time. He might not have time to sit with them ever again. So for a little while today, he's been sat thinking about everything. Not just this story, but the story of before. The adventures he used to have with Cass when they were young and before the Eschaton and what that was like. And he. He just needs to ask Gardi some [02:06:56] Speaker A: stuff [02:06:59] Speaker E: so he finds a moment when Gardi is not preoccupied. Pied just gives kind of like, you know, welcoming wave to make sure he's not distracting him from anything. You doing? You doing good? [02:07:17] Speaker B: Good. [02:07:17] Speaker F: Might be a bit of a stretch, but. Well, I doubt any of us are feeling too hunky dory about the thing. [02:07:27] Speaker E: Yeah. Look, I swear to say thank you. I think we kind of underestimated everything. And you've been so good at helping us figure stuff out. I would have been just a mess having to try and figure out what was going on. I shouldn't have even really been here. It was kind of a coincidence. And I just really wanted to say thanks. You and Cassie like a good team. [02:08:13] Speaker F: Thanks. [02:08:13] Speaker C: Yeah. I mean, [02:08:16] Speaker F: it's been really lovely that. To see you all accepted so much. Especially you, obviously. Because I know it's. You know, things are a little bit awkward between the two. [02:08:28] Speaker D: Yeah, [02:08:30] Speaker E: Yeah. [02:08:31] Speaker C: I mean, [02:08:34] Speaker F: obviously very close. So it's. [02:08:39] Speaker C: Yeah. [02:08:39] Speaker E: About that. I have a question, actually. And you can see, like, again, because Cooper's just very good at brushing his emotions off. He, like, in the only way that a dragon's scent can blush, there is a sense of, like, redness in his. In his scales that are a little more red than normal. It's like, are you. Are you with Cass? Like, are you dating or what is. What? Can I. Can I just need to know. This is a really strange. Like, it's. It's none of my business if you are. I just kind of want clarification if that's all right. [02:09:25] Speaker F: We're colleagues. [02:09:27] Speaker E: Oh, okay. Okay. Look, I don't know. We had a very strange conversation. We met two days ago and it never really got resolved and a lot of stuff happened. [02:09:37] Speaker D: Sugar, mother, [02:09:40] Speaker C: colleagues, HR Nightmare. [02:09:52] Speaker F: I've not known even her that long, [02:09:55] Speaker B: and [02:09:58] Speaker F: I like to take my time to get to know people before I even really consider that kind of thing. [02:10:05] Speaker A: That's. [02:10:09] Speaker F: Counter question. [02:10:12] Speaker E: Okay. [02:10:18] Speaker F: Were you hoping my answer would be no? [02:10:25] Speaker E: I. I think again, that Blush is still. Still there. Well, Kate, the other. [02:10:38] Speaker F: I have recently had reason to think about what can happen if we love someone and we let them slip through our fingers. [02:10:51] Speaker E: Yeah. [02:10:52] Speaker F: So if you need to talk to her, maybe before we get incinerated is a really good time. [02:11:00] Speaker E: Yeah. Yeah, it's just. It's a really good show. Really? [02:11:08] Speaker C: Yeah. [02:11:10] Speaker E: The other night when we were fighting Pfizer and I thought. I don't think I can do that again without her knowing. [02:11:22] Speaker A: You know, if it's. [02:11:28] Speaker F: If it's any consolation, I've seen the [02:11:33] Speaker E: way you two look at each other with supreme hatred. It's not hatred. It's something, but it's not hatred. [02:11:45] Speaker F: It's definitely a little messy. [02:11:49] Speaker E: Yeah. [02:11:49] Speaker F: And whether you. Whether you'll be back together or what, I don't know. But you clearly still feel for each other. And I'd be letting you both down if I didn't say that. [02:12:08] Speaker E: Thanks, Gody. Hey, if anything does happen to me, could you keep an eye on her for me? Just in case. [02:12:21] Speaker F: I'm sure if anyone's going out first, that'll probably be me, but. Yeah, if I'm still going and you're not, but. Well, I'm not leaving until I've got every last one of you I can out of there alive. [02:12:42] Speaker E: Yeah, thanks. We've got this, I think. [02:12:55] Speaker F: So about your holiday. [02:13:00] Speaker E: Some holiday. Well, at least it'll be warm soon. Not the kind of warm I was hoping for. [02:13:09] Speaker F: Not quite sunseen. Sandy. [02:13:16] Speaker E: Maybe next time I can go somewhere cold. [02:13:23] Speaker A: As we linger on, the two of you sat side by side in the camp. We pan away. Where do we find Cass? [02:13:42] Speaker D: So where is our good new friend currently? [02:13:47] Speaker A: The epitaph is currently kind of hovering about 10, 15ft overhead. [02:13:55] Speaker D: Unreachable. [02:13:56] Speaker E: You can fly? [02:13:58] Speaker D: I can try. But then take that precious post which [02:14:01] Speaker C: we do not have. [02:14:07] Speaker A: You certainly. Certainly within sort of like summoning range if you wanted to call the epitaph down. [02:14:14] Speaker D: No, that's right. I cast was going to consider taking its head off to see what's. See what's inside that helmet of its. It's part of being a research. You've got to take it apart sometimes, I guess. [02:14:32] Speaker F: There's bits of the other robots we killed on the way out. [02:14:37] Speaker A: You drag one of those out. [02:14:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [02:14:39] Speaker D: Cass is like go on in the background. All these very tender conversations. [02:14:47] Speaker A: Yeah, we just missed out there. Any investigation you have done into any parts of. Because like Guardi chewed one of the. The golems up. But yeah, any investigation into the golems from the vault have revealed that they seemingly have just been reduced to nothing but like an inert stone. Like a brittle in a stone like material. I say the. How it works. Baffling. [02:15:18] Speaker D: Magic. Magic. [02:15:19] Speaker A: Magic. [02:15:20] Speaker E: Magic. [02:15:22] Speaker A: I guess one is your. If you're busying yourself trying to sort like unearth these secrets, I guess one question I would pose to Cass. Since this morning, There has been quite an important revelation in the story of your family, where now that you know the name and the nature of what caused them to disappear, this world spirit called Kor Hisal. How does that. I mean, you don't have it. It's not as though. As if you have a face to the name, but you now have a name to the name. And you. You also know what has become of Core Hazard. How. How is. Where is Cass at? Where's her headspace? Is she, I think, distracting herself or. [02:16:31] Speaker D: Cass is very much distracting herself. I think this is the kind of problem that when she's faced with a problem, usually in more recent years, shoot that thing. In earlier years, research that thing. But I think this is the kind of problem she's realized that she can't research her way out of. And she can't really shoot her way out of either. [02:16:53] Speaker C: It's. [02:16:54] Speaker D: The thing that took her family is essentially gone. It's been transformed. It is an aspect of Exo now, as far as she's concerned and aware. And that is something that they've already tried to fight defeat and did, you know, irreparable damage to a small island. And now they're going to have to try again. So all she can do is try to research every aspect of this that she doesn't understand and attack it with the same kind of ferocity with which she has attacked finding a world spirit. So I think that's her. She's using it as a force to drive her usual kind of internal rage. [02:17:45] Speaker A: Perhaps as you focus, as these kind of thoughts clatter around your mind and you focus on what you're doing, you feel a shadow kind of pass over you. And as you turn to find out who it is, the epitaph has landed on the ground next to you. Conclusion, Threat analysis complete. And it turns to regard you. Hypothesis, Threat designate Exodraven has been corrupted by Primal Mana. Confirmed. Further analysis of Primal Corruption shows two variant strains. Accessing databases. Primary strain, Buru Nam. Secondary strain, Core Hisal. Hypothesis, Primal Mana Corruption suggests primal entities still exist. Hypothesis, defeat of target Threat designate Exo. Draven relies in removing Primal Corruption from threat Designate Exo Draven calculating chances of success. Incomplete data to achieve accurate assessment. Speculation. And then the epitaph looks down to you. Removing the primal infusions within target designate Exo Draven may be your route to success. [02:20:22] Speaker D: And how would we do that? [02:20:28] Speaker A: Speculation. Based on observations made from mortal designate Cooper's memories. Threat designate Khor Hazal is intertwined within this. Within soul of threat designate Exo Draven hypothesis entering into arcane space within Exo Draven will allow you to find the roots, the seeds of corruption. [02:21:21] Speaker D: Entering arcane space. Is that in what way? The way that Gadi can or the way that Cooper can? [02:21:33] Speaker A: Clarification. Primal corrupt, primal manner. Corruption has resulted in an etheric. An etheric exo visage around threat designate Exo hypothesis. Breaching the exterior will allow you access to colloquial the soul of Exo. [02:22:10] Speaker D: Whatever that looks like. Now, [02:22:15] Speaker A: within the soul of the threat designate Exo Draven hypothesis, one will find. One will find the seed of corruption born of designate Burunan and designate Kizal. [02:22:36] Speaker D: Then we just. Just take it out. Well, that's presented more questions, but you're very handy to have around. [02:22:54] Speaker A: Acknowledgment. Declaration. Further data is required, and the epitaph noiselessly lifts back off the ground and then returns up into the skies over [02:23:16] Speaker D: the camp, just tweens away. [02:23:25] Speaker F: He had to go back to his home planet. [02:23:30] Speaker E: This is iron Giant. Like Superman. [02:23:34] Speaker D: You good. [02:23:38] Speaker A: So, Cass, with that little pet talk, [02:23:46] Speaker D: enter his soul, take that out, leave [02:23:53] Speaker F: shooting out of a gun. [02:23:57] Speaker A: You. As. As the epitaph kind of returns to hit its position, observing the flames like the wildfire, you spy across the camp. Griffin, kind of Griffin, who's been sat with Gardi for a little while, get up and sort of like wander off. And yes, it reminds you. [02:24:26] Speaker D: Griffin's been having a lovely little revelation. Cass is gonna go make his day worse. [02:24:37] Speaker C: You. [02:24:37] Speaker D: You hear her footsteps behind you wherever you've decided to sit. [02:24:42] Speaker B: Oh, hi, Cass. [02:24:44] Speaker A: How's it going? [02:24:48] Speaker D: Learning more information. [02:24:50] Speaker B: Oh, that's. [02:24:50] Speaker A: That's good. [02:24:51] Speaker B: It's like, how is Mr. Epitaph? [02:24:57] Speaker D: I think I'm starting to learn how to speak his language. He's certainly doing something up there. [02:25:04] Speaker B: Do you think that's how we used to talk? Like we used to, Like. Like people. Like in ye olde days. Do you think that's how we spoke? [02:25:13] Speaker D: Might be something to ask him. I've never seen it written down, but [02:25:17] Speaker B: actually there's quite a few questions I've got for him. Like, does he eat does he sleep that? Does he feel. Does he feel love? Do you think you feel love? [02:25:27] Speaker A: Does the epitaph dream of elect. [02:25:36] Speaker D: Griffin, I have some questions for you. [02:25:39] Speaker E: Oh. [02:25:40] Speaker D: She sits down next to him. I think in light of everything that we're about to do and of everything we've just learned, I think some of us should be coming clean. Oh. [02:25:54] Speaker A: What? [02:25:55] Speaker B: And, I mean, if you've got something to tell me, I'm happy to listen. Is it about Cooper? Because you can tell me. [02:26:07] Speaker E: It's all right. I won't tell him. [02:26:11] Speaker D: What deal did you make with Kick Fran? [02:26:16] Speaker B: Oh, [02:26:21] Speaker D: Coupon made one. We know what that is. And now it seems you've made one, too. And if we are going to have to face something like what we're going to have to face, I think we should know exactly what we're dealing with. And if you have something else going on. [02:26:40] Speaker B: I made a deal with Kick Fran to remove Cooper's bond with him. Basically made the same contract that he made with Cooper in exchange for Cooper to be free from it. [02:26:56] Speaker A: Why? [02:26:58] Speaker B: Cooper's my friend. [02:27:01] Speaker A: He. [02:27:06] Speaker B: He's got stuff to live for now. He's. I mean, he tells me that he just sort of just goes from here, there and everywhere, just going from job to job. But he. And he sort of looks at you, and he kind of goes. But it's. It's kind of obvious now that he's got someone to be for again. [02:27:33] Speaker E: You. [02:27:33] Speaker B: I'm talking about you, Cat. [02:27:37] Speaker C: Me? [02:27:38] Speaker E: Yeah, you. [02:27:41] Speaker D: Griffin. He ran away from me. He ran away from us. Whatever he's feeling now, that's certainly something. But you shouldn't have taken what he had. [02:27:56] Speaker B: But I know that he needs his freedom more than me now. And I had something that I could make the deal a little bit sweeter for. Kick Fran. [02:28:17] Speaker D: Griffin, you realize we're going to have to sort this out for you now, right? [02:28:24] Speaker B: I've got a plan. It's all good. I. I can sort this out. I promise. [02:28:34] Speaker D: Can you? [02:28:35] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [02:28:37] Speaker D: Can you? [02:28:41] Speaker B: Yeah. And if I can't, then that's my responsibility. [02:28:52] Speaker D: Well, I mean, we've come this far together, and if we survive the next couple of days, you won't have to sort it alone. [02:29:07] Speaker B: I appreciate that. But it might be something that's a little bit out of everyone's hands. It might just be something that I have to face myself. But it's okay. I really appreciate it. I do. But I hope you'll give Cooper a second chance. [02:29:30] Speaker D: I'm. And she sort of glances over to wherever Cooper is fumbling through camp. I'm considering it. [02:29:45] Speaker B: I'm glad to hear that. [02:29:49] Speaker A: People. [02:29:51] Speaker B: People run away when things get scary. And sometimes it just takes it. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes something as big as this just to remind them what's really important. [02:30:07] Speaker D: Agree. [02:30:18] Speaker A: You're right there, Dan. Sorry, my mouth cable just disconnected. So as you, as a. Well, I guess as you conclude in that way, acknowledging that sometimes you have to almost be facing at the end of the end of the world, like, the end of everything that you know. Griffin, you spy. As you kind of look at Cass, as you look past her, you see that Kick Fran is kind of stood off on his own, like, on a ledge overlooking the forests below, towards the flames to the north. And he just. He kind of has his back to you all. And he just. Yeah, he's just this solitary figure. What do you do? [02:31:36] Speaker B: Griffin will just sort of look at Cass and go, like, I've got this. And he's gonna get up and he's gonna go and talk to Kickfran. He's just gonna sort of stand by his side. [02:31:53] Speaker A: Okay. As. In which case, as you approach, like, say, Kick Fran has his back to you, and, like, his head twitches slightly as he hears your foot kind of disturb a small pebble on the mountain path. And you see him, like, you know that his front is being illuminated in this soft kind of bluish glow. But as he notices your approach, the glow quickly disappears. And then he kind of places what appears to be like, a well. He lowers his hand away from his. Like, his chest. And you see that in his hand is this kind of clear. Clearish blue or clearish crystal orb with gold. Intricate gold banding around it that was clearly illuminating him. And I will say that with your knowledge of the arcane, you suspect that that is the same sort of contraption as the sending ascending orbs that Cooper has that you interacted with. And as you approach, Kick Fran sort of like, kind of turns his head towards you, not facing you directly, but it's clearly acknowledging your approach. Griffin, he says, I suppose you're gonna head off. [02:33:46] Speaker B: Unless you're going to help us out. [02:33:49] Speaker A: I'm afraid I have achieved what I have been tasked to achieve. And. Whilst I. Whilst I wouldn't go as far as saying that I've become enamored with the five of you, I am regretful that this is not a fight that I will be participating in. [02:34:24] Speaker B: Fair. [02:34:28] Speaker A: I'm sure whatever fears plague your mind, it will not be as. It will not be as bad as you suspect. It Might be. My patron has powerful and holds sway over Lord Sorrow. We can negotiate on your behalf, but I do admire your choice, your sacrifice. And he sort of like looks away, back towards the flames. We sometimes have to make hard decisions, usually at our own detriment. For the good of those we care for. Then he turns to face you from face on. [02:35:40] Speaker B: If you don't mind me asking, what. What did you pick? [02:35:52] Speaker A: There are too many secrets in this new world. And secrets stop bold individuals such as you or my patron from achieving greatness. I sometimes wonder if I am blessed or cursed. I'm told in the final moments before Alicia left the void. In the void, that Alicia floated him. It is said. I've been told that a Khan himself peered down upon us. A minuscule speck of dust in a sea of nothingness. We were engulfed in the shadow of his physical form. And I didn't get to see it, but my patron did. And it has set her on a quest, a righteous mission. To unearth the secrets that those who would attempt to hide them. Would keep from us. So this here, this codex, it is full of secrets. And we hope to bring them to the people of Elsewhere so we may live in enlightenment. [02:37:59] Speaker B: Could I see it? [02:38:05] Speaker A: The kick friend tilts his head and. I'm sorry, Griffin, this is too delicate a cargo for me to. For me to present. [02:38:24] Speaker B: I mean, I'm going back to my father anyway, so technically we'll be working together. [02:38:39] Speaker A: Kick Fran like he. He looks down and then he sort of like looks eerily [02:38:51] Speaker E: in. [02:38:52] Speaker A: It's as if he's staring directly at you from under his blindfold. And he reaches into a satchel and he pulls out this book sized block of jade light. It will take us some time to decipher it, but for the betterment of Elsewhere, we must. [02:39:29] Speaker B: Can I. I'm not gonna take it. I promise. Can I just see what I. Can I just have a look? [02:39:44] Speaker A: Kick Fran like, you see his eyes seemingly. You see his. You see the face around his eyes scrunch as if he's almost kind of closing, like squinting at you, scrutinizing you. And he looks down at his left, his right wrist and red runes appear around it before culminating in the Sigil of House Antelia. And then, seemingly taking solace in that, he steps forward and hands you the codex. [02:40:28] Speaker B: What is it? Can I open it? Can I look at it? [02:40:33] Speaker A: I mean, you suspect that this is like now that you have in your hands, you realize what kickframe meant by we'll have to decipher it because Fundamentally, it's like you're just holding a book sized brick. Like it's literally just a block of light. So yeah, to look at it, but I mean, you know that from the vault that this has come from this green, this jade light becomes the marble. Like it can be crafted into physical things. So it's, it's, it's a physical, tangential, like manifestation of manner in your hands. Like old manner. We will have the best people working on deciphering it. We have made headway with other vaults that we have explored. We are confident that whatever lies within that tome will soon be ours. Cool. [02:41:45] Speaker B: Thank you for showing me this. He's gonna put a hand on Kick frown's shoulder and cast banish. [02:41:57] Speaker A: As you place your hand on his shoulder, his empty. His right hand whips up and grabs your wrist and his expression turns extremely severe. Before you make a grave mistake, consider the mark that binds us together. Would you abandon your friends at such a critical moment in the pursuit of impetuous brashness? And as he says that, his left hand comes up and tugs at the blindfold around his eyes. And Kick Fran stares at you through amethyst pink gems for eyes. The eye sockets around them horribly scarred testament of the torture, treacherous implantation of these crystals into his skull. And now you can see the scowl on his face folding into the scars and wrinkles around his eyes, his crystalline eyes. And he just allows his question of intent to hang heavy in the air. What do you do? I mean, technically I'm not gonna go with him. [02:43:56] Speaker F: Are you sure? [02:43:59] Speaker E: No, because that's not how it works. [02:44:03] Speaker A: But you are bound, as he said. You are bound by this mark of Antelia. You know he can't. If you were to encans the words, there is relatively little he can do in this moment to stop you. Do you want to banish Kick friend? And yes is a viable answer. Yeah. Griffin, please roll me a spell cast. Check against kickfront. It's not in my loadout. [02:44:48] Speaker E: Hang on. I can't look. I can't look. [02:44:54] Speaker A: Oh dear. [02:44:59] Speaker C: I thought. [02:45:00] Speaker E: I thought exo was the bbeg. Nate, what are we doing? [02:45:05] Speaker A: I mean, if people don't want me to do it. [02:45:08] Speaker D: No, no, no. [02:45:08] Speaker A: Do it, do it, do it, do it. [02:45:12] Speaker D: The dice fall where they may. [02:45:16] Speaker B: I'm going to. I'm going to spend a hope to do my knowledge of arcane magic. And I'm going to. I am going to spend another hope for I've got your back. And hoping that it's Hoping I can use the excuse that I've got the back of everyone of saying like, I'm [02:45:42] Speaker A: wanting to do this. Okay. So to hope to add two experiences. [02:46:00] Speaker F: I don't know which. I don't know if I want you to pass this or not. [02:46:07] Speaker C: Don't know how it's gonna go. [02:46:13] Speaker B: 20 with fear. [02:46:15] Speaker A: 20 with fear. On a success roll, A number of D20s equal to your spell cast trait. You have succeeded. I will mark a fear four please. Roll. So looking at that, your highest role is an 18. As you rolled with fear, the difficulty takes a minus one penalty. So it is now difficulty 17. Kick Fran is going to make a reaction roll, an attempt to resist your banishment. He passes on a 17 or more. He does not have any experiences that I can use to help this role. So it is a straight D20. Roll. Kick Fran looks to you and as you encounter the spells, he grips on your wrist. And what does it look like when you banish him? [02:47:46] Speaker B: It basically just looks like, like an envelope of flame. It just sort of surrounds like it shoots out of Griffin's hand, sort of just envelops him and literally just goes without even ceremony, just goes [02:48:08] Speaker A: Kick Fran. You see his mouth open to say something. But before the breath can leave his past, his lips, his seemingly dusted into oblivion, enveloped by this flame and jettisoned elsewhere somewhere. You have banished him from this plane of existence. And as you like to take a breath, take a sharp intake of breath the your hand where he was. Just the smell of this smell of fumes kind of lingering into the air. I will Spender fear. As you close your eyes and lower your head, as you open them, you see that on the floor at your feet is the glass orb that he was speaking to. He was speaking on when you met him. And this is blinking with a blue flashing light. And. You overhead, you feel that the wind around you suddenly begin to pick up as if you're being buffeted by something. And as you're looking down at this blinking blue orb, you notice a large shadow creep over you from over the mountain behind you. And as you peer up, you spy the underside of what appears to be an enormous airship. And the hull that you can see that the hull from underneath that you can see is a deep green hue. The airship has a gothic like architecture built on top of it. And it is seemingly held aloft by four large arcane engines. And as you peer up, you immediately recognize the silhouettes of the Gilded Pyre, flagship of House Stone Thra. And as you peer up, everyone el everyone else, you see this airship Loom into view over. Over the side of the mountain. And Cass, you're the last person to see Griffin. And as you're sort. As you sort like, look up in a moment where you look over to Griffin, Use. A blue arcane runic circle appears around Griffin's feet. And before you get a chance to say anything, you watch as Griffin vanishes. Griffin, as you feel the floor seemingly give out underneath you and you feel yourself plummeting and you. In this moment, you immediately recognize the feeling of moving through a portal. You emerge onto a cold checkerboard polished stone floor. And as you. It's warm. There is a. A freight I set. A heavy, smoky fragrance that lingers in the air. And as your eyes acclimatize to the. The dark, the. The comparative gloom and the candlelight, like the sconce light, your vision as it focuses brings into sharp relief what appear to be golden bars around your immediate location. And as you look around, it almost looks like you're inside a large bird cage. And in front of you, on the other side of the bars from the shadow, you hear a voice. How good of you to join us, Tobias. It's so good of you to return home, my son. And your father, Lord Gulvarian, Sorrow Wind, leader of Housestone throughout, steps into the light, followed by your half brother, Orin. And as Gilvorian Gavarian looks to you, there is a sneer that etches across his face as he turns to Orin. Make your preparations. Say your final farewells. And without regarding you any further, with a sharp turn on the heel, Lord Sorrow Wind leaves and returns to the Gloom, leaving you alone with your half brother. Back on the mountain. Cass, what do you do? You've just seen Griffin vanish into nothingness, [02:55:15] Speaker D: I think immediately running over to where he's just vanished. Is there still like the sigil on the floor? [02:55:26] Speaker A: The. The sit. So this kind of. Sorry, I. It was a blue. So it was a green arcane rune. The rune has kind of vanished and disapparated. You might be able to. Realistically. It's. It's gone. As has Griffin. [02:55:45] Speaker D: She's gonna turn around immediately and yell for the others. [02:55:51] Speaker E: I run over. [02:55:52] Speaker A: What. What's. [02:55:54] Speaker E: What's wrong? What do you know? This is what Griffin. [02:55:58] Speaker D: He just vanished. [02:56:00] Speaker E: What do you mean he's vanishes right here. [02:56:03] Speaker D: Well, now he's gone. [02:56:05] Speaker F: Where's Kickfront? [02:56:12] Speaker E: What? Okay. [02:56:14] Speaker A: Right. [02:56:15] Speaker E: Can someone explain what. It's just. What's happened? Why. Where are they both gone? [02:56:22] Speaker F: Is the. The like deadly orb of all knowledge with on the Ground. Or is that still with Griffin? [02:56:38] Speaker A: The Codex that was on Griffin's person when he teleported. [02:56:44] Speaker F: Okay, I. [02:56:53] Speaker E: Okay. [02:56:54] Speaker A: Yes. You, like between the five of you, the four of you. Begging pardon, there's only four of you left. You're asking these questions as you're. You're. You're in the shadow of this airship which just looms overhead. And you, Cass, you would. As an Ace of Art, you wouldn't immediately recognize the. The sigils and the banners hanging off of this airship, highlighting it as the flagship of House Stone throughout one of the elder Ace of Ari high houses that sided with a calm during the war. This is. This is fundamentally the throne room of the house float flying overhead. And you know that this is a war vessel. [02:57:44] Speaker D: If Abe could just do a really big jump, [02:57:48] Speaker C: I could try. [02:57:49] Speaker F: I can turn into a bird. [02:57:52] Speaker D: I want to see Abe do a really big jump. [02:57:55] Speaker F: Yeah, me too. [02:57:58] Speaker C: Just hold it down. [02:57:59] Speaker D: Just [02:58:02] Speaker C: had a glider. [02:58:08] Speaker A: As the. As the four of you peer up and wonder what it is you need to do. Like what you can do, Cass, you feel an intense surge of Arcane Manor beginning to build in the skies overhead. And as you sort of like close your eyes and tune into it, you acknowledge that the Epitaph has also turned its heads to look at the same location that you're inspecting. And as this large kind of green and gold hulled ship kind of begins listing away from your position, seemingly moving to disengage, you watch as the clouds overhead begin to seemingly draw in to a spot, a point in the sky. And then in a flash of blue light, there is a. And overhead, the clouds are blown away as a blue roofed circular tower explodes into the sky overhead, mounted on what appears to be a large circular disc held up by powerful silvery blue levitational magics. And Cass, Gardi, and probably Cooper, you all recognize the architecture and you recognize this tower as being one of the seven Mage towers from Avamore. And as this. As you see this tower just appear in the sky, you hear like, who's look. Who's looking at the gilded pyre? Who's looking at the Stone trap flagship? [03:00:26] Speaker C: Yeah, I'll be looking at it. [03:00:28] Speaker A: So a. In which case, as you're. As you're looking backwards and forwards between this flight flying this floating tower and this airship, you see like a number of like orange lights beginning to illuminate across the hull of the. Of the Ace Ofari flagship. And beams of fiery magic begin ripping out towards the battle tower, towards the major tower. And as this kind of aerial Battle between two ships overhead begins. Cooper, you feel something vibrating in your pocket. [03:01:11] Speaker E: Is it the sending stone from before? [03:01:15] Speaker A: As you pull out the sending stone from your. From your pocket. As you answer it. I'm gonna send one of you in foundry chat some lines to read for me, starting with Tim. [03:01:40] Speaker B: Hello? [03:01:40] Speaker F: Hello? Is this thing on? Can anyone hear me? [03:01:45] Speaker A: Cooper, you hear this voice coming from your orb. [03:01:51] Speaker E: Hello? Who is this? [03:01:59] Speaker F: We're up here in the massive tower that just appeared out of nowhere. [03:02:04] Speaker E: Who is it? [03:02:08] Speaker A: Who is it? Tim, [03:02:11] Speaker F: don't be stupid. Who else have you called on this? It's Galena Opperment. [03:02:15] Speaker E: All right. Oh, yeah, sorry. [03:02:17] Speaker C: Yeah. [03:02:18] Speaker E: Really pretty focus up. [03:02:20] Speaker F: Give us a hand. [03:02:22] Speaker E: How. How are we supposed to get to you? [03:02:28] Speaker A: New line, Tim. [03:02:30] Speaker F: No more stage directions. Okay, cool. I feel like that's really for you to figure out. [03:02:37] Speaker E: All right, all right, all right. [03:02:38] Speaker A: Fine. [03:02:39] Speaker E: Okay. [03:02:43] Speaker F: Oh, wait. Hang on a minute. I think my justice like. [03:02:48] Speaker C: Yes. [03:02:50] Speaker A: Okay. And Cooper. [03:02:52] Speaker F: Sorry, I didn't see it. [03:02:53] Speaker A: The orb in your. The stone in your hands begins shining brightly. Your. Your immediate react. Your immediate thought is that perhaps it's bright burning. It's shining so brightly it will burn your hand. But it's surprisingly cool to the touch. And the light. The light kind of moves away from the stone. And this mote of light grows into an image. And in front of you. You see an image cracker. An image forms of five images. Individuals and Tim. One final line. [03:03:47] Speaker F: Hope you don't mind dragging a bunch of explorers off the streets of Avonmore. Sounds like you need some support. How can we help? [03:03:58] Speaker E: Yay. [03:03:59] Speaker A: And within the battle tower over the Titan Isles, Galena Orpiment, flanked by Rayri the Ranger, Azakar the Seraph, Cal the Warrior and Alfric the Bard. As reinforcements arrive and the battle tower begins returning fire, we find ourselves poised for the finale of Campaign 3. And I invite the five of you to begin episode 20 as your tales from Elsewhere characters. And Tim as your Campaign one character. Yeah. Daddy's back. The Daddy's about. And seemingly better suited than the four of you currently are to rescue Griffin from the flagship of. We will call it. We will call it there as we move into our finale. [03:05:29] Speaker E: So [03:05:31] Speaker A: congratulations everyone on completing episode 19. We have arrived at the finale which will start with the rescue of Griffin. Sorrow [03:05:49] Speaker C: add more to our plate. [03:05:54] Speaker A: And for anyone watching who is unsure who. Who we are looking at on screen, you have a week to catch up on Campaign 1. [03:06:06] Speaker D: Your homework. [03:06:12] Speaker A: And I think. I think now I've been egging to. To announce it, but we have it booked in so it's pretty much announceable now as we move into the finale. We begin with the rescue of Griffin Sorrow Wind aboard the Gilded Pyre. That will be next week on Monday online as usual. We will then conclude the finale of episode 20 in person at Pickaxe Studios home to Yogscast where we will pre record an in person prop heavy costume ridden finale. Our third campaign in Explorers of Elsewhere and I'm quite excited for it.
