Run that intro.
[00:01:23] Speaker C: Hello, I'm Julia and I play Lucretia, a Lorevar wizard.
[00:01:29] Speaker B: Hi, my name is Theo and I'll be playing Pally, a wolfkin seraph.
[00:01:36] Speaker F: Hi, I'm Georgia and I'll be playing Vergil, a Sangravar ranger.
[00:01:42] Speaker D: Hi, my name is DM Dan and I'm playing Myrdden, a Wolfkin guardian druid.
[00:01:49] Speaker E: Hi, I'm Livy and I'll be playing Bo, the dragon Scent warrior.
[00:01:55] Speaker A: And my name is Nate and I'll be the GM for this adventure.
So where we left the five of you, you have entered into this.
You've entered into this other worldly place.
Saturation up to 11 bright colored trees, purples and pinks and blues with turquoise grass.
Butterflies that produce powdered paint that sort of scatters across the ground.
Birds made from like stained glass that produce glockenspiel noises as they chatter and talk to each other.
Just a general, like emphasized smell of sweetness from every flower that you pass by.
Mushrooms that curl into each other, that produce their own trees and streams that seem to defy gravity as they go up cliffs instead of down.
You.
You've now been introduced to the fact that you are not alone in this new world.
You.
You found like a small contraption, a small little automaton robot who has told you their name is Explorer.
It hops like a little frog and is about the size of like a small chest.
And it is guiding you Back to where it has told you is called Sanctuary.
All of your questions have seemed to have confused it a little bit.
And you've also been introduced to like this large goliath of a creature, but just looked like a massive soft toy.
This massive plushie of a keeper that seems to have fixed Explorer from his little damages and is now able to take you home. And despite the fact that this large plushie of a keeper did see you, it obviously was friendly and didn't proceed any, any further.
Explorer is taking you down like another one of these man made paths. And Bo, you were pretty much correct that those little, those little footprints that were being made along the grass, the, the pathway were made by Explorer as it hops like a frog down the path.
The, the five of you are generally just walking down, taking in the surroundings again. It's, is there any conversations that are happening while you're traveling and following Explorer? Are you talking to Explorer? Are you talking to one another?
How are your, how are you, how, how is Virgil feeling at the moment?
[00:05:12] Speaker F: I, I think Virgil is affecting this very cheerful Persona, which he does, but every so often he kind of glances at Pally and he is reminded of the existence of Pally.
That kind of jolts him a little bit.
I think after maybe a little while he will kind of, he'll, he'll wander on over and he'll pat Pally companionably on the shoulder.
Oh, good job with the little bobbit.
Oh, very good healing it. Yes.
[00:05:49] Speaker B: I don't actually feel like I did anything really. I think. Well, I don't know.
Thank you.
And I think Paddy will take a moment and then he'll like, try to squarely look at Virgil. I think he has noticed that Virgil has been a little off with him. He's like, have I, have I offended you? I, I, I hope I haven't. I just, you know, we're here as a team. I don't, I, I hope I haven't upset you or anything since we met.
[00:06:27] Speaker F: No, no, of course not. No. I just, you know how it is, meeting people, getting attacked by shadows, transported to strange, whatever. This is just, it's just, it's a lot.
[00:06:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:06:45] Speaker F: Oh, is this that brother Tal. Sorry, sorry.
[00:06:47] Speaker A: You know how he is.
[00:06:49] Speaker F: He'll just, he'll bubble off.
[00:06:53] Speaker C: Okay,
[00:06:56] Speaker A: Pally, is there anything, is there anything going through your mind now after this conversation or before this conversation, before Virgil approached you?
[00:07:05] Speaker B: I think he's just trying to get his bearings. There's obviously a lot going on, a lot to process.
I think already he's trying to piece together if anything they learned in Falstrom correlates to this place. Like, is this where, like he's like trying to figure out like this, is this what happened to the people that were in the hospital beds?
Are they in the hospital bed? Like, he's trying to figure out if there's something weird going on now to do with us.
[00:07:38] Speaker F: Because this doesn't.
[00:07:39] Speaker B: Yeah, this doesn't feel real.
Like it like a little bit like Miradrin, I think he's like Miradrin saying like a cornucopia of vibrancy could mean danger. And he's like, well, if it doesn't seem real, is it real? But then he feels like he's solid and real, but then his God doesn't feel as approachable as normal. So he's trying to like piece what he can together in his head.
But obviously open minded, but still trying to like, see if there's any crumbs he can try to process, if that makes sense.
[00:08:21] Speaker A: What's going through Lucretia's mind at the moment?
[00:08:24] Speaker C: She's loving it. This is great.
Lots of new stuff to explore. Totally unfamiliar, but not threatening. So far. I think she's just really excited about the opportunity to discover and explore somewhere that does seem to be totally new. As far as she knows, she's been part of the explorers for years now and she's never heard anything about this and she would have done if the explorers had ever come across it. So I think she's really excited and she's probably babbling away to Explorer, the little robot. I think. Yeah.
[00:08:59] Speaker A: What kind of things are you. You're talking to Explorer.
[00:09:01] Speaker C: Well, she's probably trying to ask him questions about Sanctuary and about the place they're in. And he just keeps giving these little generic. I'm a tiny robot that doesn't really know anything answers probably, I imagine. But I think she's just showing curiosity.
[00:09:17] Speaker A: It's the, the kind of replies that you're getting from Tank, from Explorer. Almost feel like Explorer is confused that you don't already know.
[00:09:28] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:09:29] Speaker A: It's almost like it's not been programmed into him to answer those questions because those are the kind of questions that he doesn't expect to ever be asked.
[00:09:39] Speaker C: Fair enough. He hasn't got the algorithms for it. Yeah, okay.
[00:09:42] Speaker A: Yeah, no one's inputted that into him yet.
[00:09:45] Speaker C: Sure, sure, fair enough.
Yeah.
[00:09:49] Speaker A: How. How's Beau feeling at the moment? What's Beau thinking about?
[00:09:53] Speaker E: I think Bo is.
This is nothing like he's ever experienced
[00:10:02] Speaker C: before,
[00:10:05] Speaker E: but always wants to remain sort of calm and collected.
So it's kind of like keeping a reasonably brisk pace to kept to keep in line with Miden, because I assume Mid has got very long strides and Bow has quite little strides, so.
And bought a kind of.
Siri doesn't lose face. Just kind of say to Midden, who he assumes has been lots of places. It's just like. So you've been to this kind of place before. I mean, this is normal, right? Like you just go through the gates and it's like, it's like this is it. This is
[00:10:45] Speaker D: made in like looks down with a raised eyebrow. And we both know that this is as far away from normal as it gets.
This is a far throw from our time in Kayley's Point.
[00:11:06] Speaker E: But.
But people have been here places before, right? This is just.
You just haven't been here before.
[00:11:17] Speaker D: My concern is that there are clearly people that are making a living here and yet we do not know about it.
Why has there been no contact?
[00:11:36] Speaker E: Well, maybe they've got.
They don't want any contact.
Maybe it's some kind of tax haven.
[00:11:47] Speaker D: Like there's a.
[00:11:48] Speaker A: There's a.
[00:11:50] Speaker D: There's a look of like, understanding and appreciation when you say, like maybe they don't want contact.
But then when you follow up with the tax haven hobbit, like Mirden's eyebrows drop back down.
[00:12:09] Speaker E: Well, it doesn't have to be tech. You know what I mean? Maybe they don't want to be found.
[00:12:15] Speaker D: I think the sooner we can find someone who it would seem is able of having a conversation that is not predetermined and I kind of glance over it.
[00:12:27] Speaker E: You looking at Lucretia, or as I
[00:12:30] Speaker D: glance over at Explorer as it is, kind of gives the the same answer for the third time.
[00:12:35] Speaker E: I'm explorer. We're going to Sanctuary.
[00:12:38] Speaker B: I'm explorer.
[00:12:39] Speaker C: We're going to Sanctuary.
[00:12:43] Speaker D: The sooner we can find someone that is capable of having a conversation that isn't predetermined, the sooner we can find out what this place is, why this place exists, and more importantly, why we were brought here.
And I've.
I'm.
[00:13:02] Speaker E: How we're gonna get back?
[00:13:04] Speaker D: Well, yes, I'm concerned that we haven't, but perhaps those shadow creatures that we encountered have been left behind. But my glance around and is it still like obnoxiously kind of sunny? Yeah.
I look up towards the light and if life has taught me anything, it's the places where the brightest lights cast the greatest shadows.
Perhaps this place isn't as Much of a sanctuary as our little friend here would have us Belief
[00:13:52] Speaker E: always the optimist
[00:13:57] Speaker D: and I just.
[00:14:06] Speaker A: Mirin, you've, you've sort of given your thoughts quite bluntly to bow. Is there anything else that's sort of sitting on your mind? Something, anything that you may not be quite comfortable with sharing with Beau with the others quite yet or you don't feel now is the time.
[00:14:25] Speaker D: So Myrddin has always considered himself as like, like he's the one that will always adopt the protector role. He did it for his family.
He's done it before in previous like mercenary jobs. He's run for the explorers.
But the fact that Artosa has like isn't as reachable like the, the connection with this world spirit isn't as clear as it usually is.
Kind of.
He doesn't like, like I think the reason he's frowning is because he's concerned. Like he's a bit worried about it but then he's getting grumpy because he's worried about it and just the like he's looking around and he has no idea what he's supposed to be protecting this group from because we've just seen a large tree sized plushie keeper toy Goliath thing and like Maiden doesn't know how he, how he fares in a fight against one of those that turns violent.
Like he's, he's, he's as Bose pointed out, he's a, he's an optimist
[00:15:52] Speaker B: but
[00:15:52] Speaker D: even he's a little bit unsure. So I think there's this, there's a sense of like the sense of uncertainty is just making him a bit, bit of a grump.
[00:16:11] Speaker A: So with the five of you sort of chatting away, still looking around.
Lucretia, you, you chatting to Explorer getting the same sort of responses.
Is there, is there anything else that you, that you feel like you'll be getting on with on this path before we sort of, before we hit sort of like our next.
Well you, you come towards you, you're walking down this path and following Explorer.
Explorer then will continue walking until you come up to what appears to be a river.
[00:16:56] Speaker C: Look at this place. It's beautiful.
[00:16:58] Speaker B: Shame.
[00:17:00] Speaker A: So as we've said everything has pretty much been the same little bits and pieces may still catch you off guard.
A bird emanating a new sound, sort of like a new insect that sort of brings up these sort of shining illuminant scales as it sort of crawls up one of these mushroom like trees.
Strange berries that are hanging off, hanging off some of the bushes as well.
And yes, Explorer takes you over. I'll pop him down there as well.
Explorer takes you to this, to this river and it doesn't particularly look like challenging. It's a very slow moving river.
From what you can tell. It doesn't look particularly deep.
It looks like it might get a little bit more sort of like heavy down, down river. But at the moment you could definitely walk across this. You could, you could definitely make it over quite safely without a bridge.
Explorer looks down at the river. He looks sort of like both ways and he kind of goes like, he just looks back at you and kind of goes like, this is the quickest way, come on.
And he jumps down onto this river and he. It's not even like he's, it's not even like he's sinking into the water. Like the water almost sort of.
He's not like walking on it, but there's like. It's almost like the water has become shallow for him and he sort of like he's walking on like a trampoline in a way.
And he, he sort of gets his bearings after hopping onto it and he continues to hop more and more until he gets over to the other side and he sort of clambers up the rock.
He looks back at you and goes like, come on.
[00:19:15] Speaker C: Did the water sort of make way for him? Was it like the passing of the Red Sea or something?
[00:19:22] Speaker A: So he was jumping almost on the water and the water, the water almost sort of undulated like he was walking on jelly.
[00:19:29] Speaker C: Right. Oh, okay.
Fascinating.
[00:19:33] Speaker A: But it's bizarre because it looks like liquid like usual river liquid. Besides from the fact that it's quite brightly blue.
[00:19:42] Speaker C: Amazing.
Lucretia will follow, but she's not going to cross the river. She's just going to get halfway through and then she's going to start investigating the liquids and trying to understand it.
[00:19:55] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, make me.
Let's have a little looky.
Let's make. Well, let's. Let's do like an insight roll.
[00:20:06] Speaker C: As a. Just a regular insight roll.
[00:20:09] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:20:10] Speaker C: As you're checking out, can I use my special interest in the natural world, please? How much stress is it? Is it stress?
[00:20:16] Speaker A: It's hopeful. So you'll have to spend a hope,
[00:20:18] Speaker D: but as a knowledge wizard, you can spend stress instead.
[00:20:22] Speaker C: Oh, thank you.
[00:20:24] Speaker A: Nice.
[00:20:25] Speaker C: Yeah, I might do that actually.
So is there an easy way to add stress on my character sheet? Do I just type it in?
[00:20:32] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:33] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:20:35] Speaker D: It's the. If you right click on your token, it's the number at the bottom of the Triangle.
[00:20:43] Speaker C: Oh.
Oh, okay.
[00:20:45] Speaker A: So it should be the badge.
[00:20:48] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, yeah. Oh, I see, I see, I see. Thank you. Okay, no problem. I'm gonna. Yes, I've taken a stress to use my special interest in the natural world.
Oh, no, actually, I think it's my intense curiosity right now actually that yes, I want to use.
[00:21:03] Speaker A: So, yeah, either or is good.
[00:21:05] Speaker C: Nice.
[00:21:07] Speaker D: You get double experience on this.
[00:21:09] Speaker C: Now it is a 21 with hope.
[00:21:13] Speaker A: Fantastic. Well, add a little hope.
[00:21:15] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:21:15] Speaker A: To your. Back to your thing again.
[00:21:18] Speaker C: Shall.
Wait a minute.
[00:21:20] Speaker D: 24 with hope.
[00:21:22] Speaker C: 20. It said 21 with get double, I
[00:21:25] Speaker A: think, because you get. You get double.
[00:21:26] Speaker C: Oh, sorry. Yes.
[00:21:28] Speaker A: 24 then.
So, yeah, with. I mean, definitely with a 24 with hope.
You.
What are you doing? Are you sort of touching it with your hands? Are you scooping it up?
[00:21:40] Speaker C: I'm scooping it up. I'm trying. Running it sort of between my. My hands, trying to sort of get. I'm passing it from hand to hand. Just. I'm probably. Probably tasting it. Let's face it.
Yeah, she's just doing whatever she can to sort of. She's sort of jiggling it in her hands. If that works, like just seeing what happens.
[00:21:58] Speaker F: You'll.
[00:22:00] Speaker A: You.
The. The water seems to be reacting so it's. It's. It's nervous unnerving at first because it's not acting like jelly as like what.
What explorer was walking on. It's acting again, more like water. But your intense excitement over this is like.
It feels. It feels cool. It feels not like. Not cold. Like a wonderfully sort of tempered warmthness to it.
And as you. As you sip at it as well, it almost tastes like you get the taste of like your favorite tea. Like the tea you would drink when you're intensely in.
In a brand new fascinating project.
It's not. Yeah. And it. You can taste that chamomile and that honey that sort of.
And like, even though it's cold to the touch, like when it hits your lips and it hits your throat, just hits that perfect temperature for you as it slides down and it sort of fills you with that feeling of just like wonderfulness that you are, you know, sort of grabbing this water.
[00:23:17] Speaker C: It's heavenly.
Get in here.
[00:23:23] Speaker E: I need to get the top of them.
[00:23:26] Speaker C: Come, come, come and taste it.
[00:23:29] Speaker E: She's lost it, guys. She's lost it. We're gonna have to just leave her here.
[00:23:33] Speaker F: Virgil's getting in there. He's coming on down.
[00:23:36] Speaker C: Come on.
[00:23:37] Speaker A: Virgil,
[00:23:41] Speaker D: are you holding your sandals like that at the beach?
[00:23:44] Speaker F: Yes, I've got brother talons in one hand. He's got his saddles at the end.
[00:23:52] Speaker B: I was going to say how deep is the water? Because I'm considering bow here in terms of height.
[00:23:58] Speaker E: Well, if little guy bounced off the top of it.
[00:24:01] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. So.
[00:24:03] Speaker A: But if he's bouncing, you can.
It. You can't really see the bottom, but it. You kind of get the feeling that, like, it can't be that deep for how shallow it's sort of traveling.
Like, for how slow it's traveling. It can't be. You get the feeling that, like, it can't be that deep.
[00:24:26] Speaker B: Could I just do a quick thing if that's okay?
I would like to use my prayer dice to give myself a hope.
One hope. So I can spend my nomadic pack so I can grab. Like. I'd like to, like, get some sort of reciprocal. That I can fill up with the water.
[00:24:48] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:24:48] Speaker B: To take along, if that's okay.
[00:24:52] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:24:52] Speaker B: So I will.
So again, I'll read my hope again.
Fill up. Fill up the water just in case we need to look at it again or we need it for whatever reason. And I'll offer like.
Actually, I was going to offer if Bowen lift, but then I don't think he's going to need a lift if it's that shallow. So I think you'll turn to do it and then think against it and then continue to go fur.
[00:25:21] Speaker A: Could you give me to just sort of make sure that you're. You're sort of dentling into this water and grabbing as much as you want. Can you just give me a finesse roll again?
[00:25:34] Speaker B: Is that a reaction or just normal?
[00:25:37] Speaker A: A normal finesse roll.
[00:25:38] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:25:43] Speaker A: A13 with fear.
With a. With a 13 from fear. You. You bend down and you.
And probably your.
You're not completely sure why this is. You're still feeling quite uncertain about this world. You. You pour, you put the bottle down and you try and sort of fill it up with water as.
As it goes in, it sort of rumbles in the cup and then sort of spurts out at the top of this. At this receptacle.
[00:26:23] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:26:24] Speaker A: Like. Like a fizzy drink that's been shooken up too much.
And while you've got like a little bit on the bottom of this, like the smallest bit at the bottom of this cup, like most of it has exploded out the top.
[00:26:38] Speaker B: Cool.
Okay. And we'll keep that. I think you'll report this to Lucretia because I think she'll find this interesting.
[00:26:46] Speaker C: Oh, yes. Oh, yeah.
[00:26:48] Speaker B: I can't. I Can't seem to get any water in. It won't. It won't.
[00:26:52] Speaker C: What?
[00:26:52] Speaker B: What happened?
I'll show you. And again he will do the same action. And then we'll watch the rubbing water. Just.
[00:26:59] Speaker A: Okay, can you give me another finesse roll?
[00:27:03] Speaker D: We. We glance at Lucretia, waiting for the water to just burst out of her nostrils.
[00:27:09] Speaker B: That was even worse. So,
[00:27:15] Speaker A: yeah, you. You kind of. With a little bit more determination, just try to show her again.
Again. Sort of like the. The water explodes out and almost sort of like splashes you in the face as well.
And you get like a little bit in your mouth and you.
You taste like.
Like almost like stone. Like it. Like a metallic sort of like. Like that. But there's now a little bit. You've probably got like about a tablespoon of this water in this receptacle.
[00:27:53] Speaker C: Very curious. As if it doesn't want to be contained.
[00:27:59] Speaker B: Yeah. It didn't taste great.
[00:28:01] Speaker C: Oh, I thought it tasted wonderful. Do you not like chamomile?
[00:28:07] Speaker B: It didn't taste like chamomile to me.
[00:28:10] Speaker C: No.
What did it taste of?
[00:28:14] Speaker B: Like rock, rocky, like stone. Marbly maybe like a kind of.
[00:28:21] Speaker C: Everybody taste the water.
Tell me what you taste.
[00:28:29] Speaker B: Myrdden's like f this.
[00:28:34] Speaker D: That's not going to happen.
[00:28:36] Speaker C: Go on, Mirddin.
It is in the name of exploration.
[00:28:43] Speaker D: Perhaps one of these little creatures died in the river upstream and is now rusting.
Maybe. That is.
[00:28:54] Speaker F: I feel like Brother Talons has settled on your shoulder and your. His expression is exactly the same as yours.
[00:29:10] Speaker D: Maiden's going to like. If anyone's stooping to. To drink the river water.
Maiden's going to.
With. With Brother Talon. Clearly one of the only sensible people left in this expedition.
Step into the river.
[00:29:29] Speaker A: As you. As you step into the river.
What are your. What are your feelings right now?
[00:29:42] Speaker D: I like.
[00:29:43] Speaker A: He. He's.
[00:29:44] Speaker D: He's just being a massive negative Nancy.
[00:29:47] Speaker C: He's a big old grump.
[00:29:48] Speaker D: He's a big old grump.
[00:29:51] Speaker B: He.
[00:29:53] Speaker D: Yeah. He is the dad that spent too long at the Fung Fair.
And he's just ready to.
[00:29:58] Speaker E: To.
[00:29:58] Speaker D: To go home now.
Like me. Yeah. Me feeling a little bit impatient. Like he wants to get to.
Like he wants to go on to sanctuary so he can try to find something that resembles normality. Because right now, chamomile rivers talking. Talking chests, crystal birds like that. You just.
You can't explain it. And that makes him irritable.
[00:30:34] Speaker A: Could you roll me a finesse roll?
[00:30:37] Speaker C: Sure.
[00:30:39] Speaker D: Reaction or normal?
[00:30:41] Speaker A: Normal roll, please.
I keep on forgetting to add My fear.
[00:30:47] Speaker C: Yeah, take your fear, baby.
[00:30:50] Speaker B: Ooh, old box.
[00:30:56] Speaker C: He falls. But hopefully
[00:31:00] Speaker F: his heart a free.
[00:31:03] Speaker A: A free with hope as you.
As you sort of like the most
[00:31:08] Speaker D: impressive fail with fear. Like that is.
[00:31:11] Speaker C: That is the worst.
Yeah, yeah.
[00:31:15] Speaker A: You. You plunge one of your feet into this water, expecting it to be like.
You almost not sure what to expect it to be like, because you're expecting it to just be like water.
But then also seeing what the little. What this little creature explorer sort of hopped over like jelly.
Almost expecting, like a little bit more sort of like stability on the water.
You.
You feel your foot go in and suddenly this water goes sort of like around your ankle as you. As you feel it not react to the way that you want to, and you quickly pull your foot out as you. As you keep yourself back onto the side of the bank.
[00:32:01] Speaker C: Okay, what's wrong, Mirdin?
[00:32:04] Speaker D: My hands are clenched. I look like I'm going to punch the river, Like, as you ask. Also, like, the head whips round and it was colder than I expected.
Then I straighten myself up and Lucretia
[00:32:30] Speaker C: attempts to keep a straight face as she goes. Oh, really?
[00:32:36] Speaker A: Just because I've seen both Pally and Lucretia.
You're good for the moment, Pali, because I see you in the river, like, next to Lucretia. I thought you guys were all, like, on the bank.
[00:32:47] Speaker B: Oh, no, I've been the river. That's what I think.
[00:32:50] Speaker A: I was going to be in the
[00:32:51] Speaker B: river, like, scooping water. So, yeah, if I need to roll again, please let me.
[00:32:57] Speaker A: I think because your last one was a seven with hope, and you. You're starting to act, like, a little bit more frustrated because this water in your life, this. This stone sort of taste.
You. You sort of look back at Murden, who's just had this very sort of like, sort of physical reaction to what the water's done to him. And you could also feel your feet sort of sinking in, Lucretia. You're looking at them. You're standing on this river, this sort of jelly of river, and you're doing absolutely fine.
[00:33:32] Speaker C: What's wrong with everyone?
What's happening?
[00:33:37] Speaker B: I'm gonna. I'm gonna see if I can continue to walk, get to the other side. What happens if I try to get to the other side?
Does it get worse as I move?
[00:33:49] Speaker A: Roll me a remote. Roll me a finesse.
[00:33:51] Speaker C: Oh, no.
[00:33:51] Speaker A: Okay, well, roll me what you'd like to roll me. I'm. I'm thinking that you're being quite. You're. Are you walking quite gingerly along There. Are you gonna try and use strength to sort of pull your feet across?
[00:34:02] Speaker D: What.
[00:34:03] Speaker A: What would you like?
[00:34:03] Speaker B: If I could feel that it's trying to pull me in, I think I could reasonably use my strength, which I have more of.
[00:34:09] Speaker E: Yes.
[00:34:10] Speaker B: So I'm going to use my strength and because I have a hope now, I'm going to use my incredible strength advantage with my experience. Sorry.
Get myself across.
Great.
[00:34:28] Speaker A: Another 11 with hope.
With an 11, with hope. You are.
You are now feeling that you're.
You're really trying hard to stop your feet from sinking into this river, but you can't seem to. It doesn't seem like it's dangerous that it just feels like your legs are just stuck there. Like it's just sort of. It's just sort of encapsulated your. The soles of your feet so you can't really move anymore.
But you don't look like. It doesn't feel like you're any in immediate danger at the moment.
[00:35:05] Speaker B: Yeah, I can't move, guys.
I can't really move.
[00:35:09] Speaker E: I think.
[00:35:11] Speaker B: Lucretia, I don't know what you're doing, but I.
[00:35:14] Speaker A: You're absolutely fine. You're. You're sort of walking up along actually like the length of the river. You're not even like.
[00:35:21] Speaker C: I'm just walking towards the bank.
I don't know what you're talking about, pally. The water's fine. Just. Just walk.
[00:35:29] Speaker D: Clearly, this river does not like wolf kin.
[00:35:33] Speaker C: You know, you think the river is with.
You think the river's concerned about that sort of thing or.
[00:35:46] Speaker F: Virgil will look at Beau.
[00:35:48] Speaker C: Well, let's test it. Virgil, come in, Come in.
Come on. Don't be afraid. It's fine.
[00:35:53] Speaker F: Look, he's gonna. He's not afraid. He seems very excited.
[00:36:02] Speaker A: What, what would you like to roll to sort of walk across the river?
[00:36:11] Speaker F: Joy,
[00:36:16] Speaker C: Please roll. Well, it'll make me so happy if you roll.
[00:36:19] Speaker F: Oh, it should probably agility, actually. That would probably be a good.
[00:36:22] Speaker A: Yeah, roll with agility.
[00:36:23] Speaker F: Old man on water.
[00:36:24] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:36:26] Speaker C: As he. As he hikes his skirts up and gets his knobbly knees out.
[00:36:32] Speaker F: It's a sight.
[00:36:35] Speaker C: It is a vibe.
Certainly is a vibe.
Oh.
[00:36:41] Speaker E: Oh, a crit.
[00:36:42] Speaker D: Oh, it's a critical.
[00:36:43] Speaker B: It's a crit.
[00:36:44] Speaker C: Just knee slide all the way over. Nicest river.
[00:36:47] Speaker A: Yeah.
Yeah. It's almost like as. As you put your feet down to the ground, it's almost like you don't even need to move. It's almost like the rhythm, the joy that you're emanating the River. The river sort of responds to this and just carries you over to Lucretia.
[00:37:11] Speaker C: At the airport.
[00:37:12] Speaker E: Quite nice, actually.
[00:37:13] Speaker A: And it's also like little. Little lights sort of appear behind you as you travel along this river.
[00:37:19] Speaker C: As you approach her, Lucretia scoops up some water and holds it out to you. How does it taste, Virgil?
[00:37:31] Speaker A: What.
What would you say is like.
Like the most amazing drink that Virgil has ever tasted?
Like, it doesn't even have to be something that he regularly has. Like, something like he could have just had it once. He could have it regularly.
[00:37:47] Speaker F: I think it's probably something that he misses from his old monastery days. He doesn't miss much, but I think he has not found the means yet to brew successfully in his little outdoor hut that he's built.
And I think the monastery had very good, good brewing meadery.
And he misses, he misses that mead.
That is what the rivers of meat.
[00:38:14] Speaker A: As, as. As you feel this, this, this sensation and this taste that you haven't felt for so long,
[00:38:23] Speaker C: you
[00:38:26] Speaker A: like, you feel like a. Like a bittersweet joy sort of simmer in your. In your mind and on your taste buds.
You can feel the river now that it's sort of taken you over. It sort of like undulates a little bit underneath you as if to kind of sway you, to sort of cradle you, and then sort of stops.
[00:38:57] Speaker F: Well, I don't know what you're worrying about.
And he turns to the others.
[00:39:04] Speaker C: Come on in.
[00:39:07] Speaker E: Can I.
I'm gonna send a stress okay to shoot the river.
The Pally's just kind of. Pally's where Pally is.
[00:39:22] Speaker B: You're gonna leap on me, aren't you?
[00:39:24] Speaker E: I'm gonna use it.
[00:39:25] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:39:29] Speaker A: I'm gonna boost Little guy privilege.
[00:39:33] Speaker E: So I'm gonna hit Pally.
[00:39:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:39:36] Speaker E: Boost off a pally. And I can go within far so I can land next to explorer.
[00:39:41] Speaker C: Incredible.
[00:39:41] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:39:43] Speaker E: So that'll be a stress.
[00:39:44] Speaker C: How does Pally feel?
[00:39:45] Speaker E: So, yeah, I think Bo is like, Virgil's like surfing over, and Pally's just like, I'm stuck. And as Bo hears I'm stuck, he's just like great stepping stone
[00:39:59] Speaker C: and just
[00:39:59] Speaker E: kind of just jumps onto Pally's kind of shoulders and then just sort of frog leaps up and over.
[00:40:09] Speaker B: Actually, you know what I think happens? I think out of the corner of like, Pali's eye, I think Bogner doesn't announce it anything. And then Pally just goes. What doesn't realize when he lifts his shield up over his head so you land on his shield and Then he launches off the shield.
[00:40:26] Speaker A: You're welcome, actually, because of that, pally. Can you give me. Can you just give me a strength reaction roll to bow, jumping onto you and then jumping back off again. While you're sort of in a bit of a precarious situation, I'm gonna use
[00:40:41] Speaker B: my incredible strength again.
[00:40:43] Speaker C: It's like when Daisy jumps on my shoulder without warning, isn't it?
Do his little claws skitter a little bit?
[00:40:49] Speaker A: Yep, that's fine. Like you, your sort of soldier reflexes kick in. As you see, this small dragon said, just go over to you with the shield.
[00:41:04] Speaker C: Very good.
[00:41:05] Speaker A: You lift up your shield.
[00:41:06] Speaker F: Did you, like, swat him out of the sky?
[00:41:10] Speaker B: I mean, if he'd asked, I would have just got ready.
[00:41:13] Speaker D: But
[00:41:16] Speaker B: I was going to offer to lift him across the river earlier.
[00:41:22] Speaker C: He doesn't want to be treated like
[00:41:23] Speaker E: he needs to be saved, so he
[00:41:26] Speaker C: just needs to take advantage of people.
[00:41:28] Speaker A: Exactly, yeah.
[00:41:30] Speaker E: He doesn't want help. If you offer it, it too.
[00:41:32] Speaker C: He will take help. He always get.
[00:41:35] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:41:37] Speaker E: And he's just kind of standing next to explorer, just like, come on, guys.
[00:41:42] Speaker C: Gone.
[00:41:45] Speaker E: Come on, Burden.
[00:41:48] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:41:49] Speaker C: Come on, Murden.
[00:41:54] Speaker D: So I've just done a little bit of research, and apparently bears can jump surprisingly high.
[00:42:02] Speaker C: So can they jump surprisingly far is the question.
[00:42:06] Speaker D: Well, I'm hoping the height will carry me.
[00:42:10] Speaker E: It's far to get across.
[00:42:13] Speaker C: Can you jump far?
[00:42:14] Speaker E: That's why you. That's why if I.
[00:42:16] Speaker D: If I go, that's a close distance across that gap.
[00:42:28] Speaker C: Murden, darling, if you want, I can try levitating you across.
[00:42:34] Speaker F: Oh, levitate. Oh, that's my baby.
[00:42:40] Speaker C: Would you like a little bit of help? And she sort of. Sort of waves her staff at you with it glowing.
[00:42:46] Speaker D: I'm more than capable of crossing this river on my own, thank you very much.
[00:42:49] Speaker C: For sure. You said it was very chilly.
[00:42:53] Speaker D: That's why I growl and grumble. There's a. There's a. An animalistic rage that's growing within his chest.
So I'm just going to look. I'm gonna scope for the. The narrowest part of the river, which I believe is this bit here where it juts out a bit more.
I'm going to roll an agility. I want to roll agility. Try and leap across. I am going to spend my.
One of my experiences, the beast within, in an attempt to channel some of the primal energies of Artyosa, to give me some extra oomph to get across. And if I balls this up,
[00:43:37] Speaker C: it will be great fun.
[00:43:40] Speaker D: Oh, it's a Crit.
[00:43:41] Speaker A: No, it's a crit.
It's a crit for you as maiden as you. As you crit. As you sort of, like, really seek into Artyosa to try and.
To try and sort of go, like, please just let this. This one thing. Just please let it go. Right.
[00:44:01] Speaker D: Don't make me have to get levitated by the mage.
[00:44:06] Speaker A: The. The three of you that are on the river, you watch as mid and just sort of like, athletically, just bounds right over like an antelope. Just over this gorge.
As he lands perfectly on the other side, do you give, like, a little. Little gymnast
[00:44:26] Speaker D: superhero landing?
[00:44:27] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. And then.
Explorer looks a gone.
[00:44:38] Speaker D: I stand up straight, and there's a. There's a. A Almost cocky, like, shoulder roll. Yeah, that's right.
[00:44:46] Speaker E: Still got it.
[00:44:47] Speaker A: That's how you do it.
Explorer looks up at you and goes, impressive.
Impressive. A.
I don't understand why you just didn't.
[00:45:07] Speaker F: Is Pally still stuck?
[00:45:11] Speaker A: Yeah, Pali is still kind of struggling with feet.
[00:45:16] Speaker F: Can I wander over? And I think buoyed up with this old memory of the mead, I think he'll offer his hand to Pali. And in a voice that sounds a bit more.
I say, there is a vibe that this man gives off.
He's this very stoic, serious man.
His voice sounds just a bit calmer and a bit more on it than he usually does. And he just goes, come on, Paliar, let's get you out.
And he offers his hand.
[00:46:00] Speaker B: Thank you. I think, again, he'll be like. Compared to how you'd spoken to him on the walk, which is obviously friendly, but I feel like holding back, this feels a bit more familiar. So he's like, thank you.
He's not even selling what he's doing wrong. Like, he's obviously, like, Paddy's, like, understanding that whatever Lucretia and like, Virgil had brought the river, he has not brought it. So he's trying to also relax.
Be like, okay, clearly the river is responding to me. I don't know how.
So you also take a breath, and he'll try to move with more calm about him.
If that also helps.
[00:46:53] Speaker A: Yep.
I roll with.
Because. Because of the fact that you're trying to relax yourself, I would like you to roll with presence, but I'm gonna give you advantage after Virgil's little. Little pep.
[00:47:10] Speaker B: Okay, thank you.
[00:47:12] Speaker F: Tilting hand.
[00:47:14] Speaker B: Okay. Is this a reaction? Just an actual roll.
[00:47:19] Speaker A: This is a natural role to get your feet out.
Yes.
You.
Yeah, with that.
With that sort of pet talk from. From Virgil and you sort of relaxing yourself Trying to, to sort of calm down those anxious feelings that you want originally had. You can, you can now feel the river sort of subside with the way that it was gripping hold of the soles of your shoes.
And you can feel yourself definitely walk easier now your legs are free to walk.
[00:48:02] Speaker B: I think as that happens, he will also give the receptacle he pulled out of his pack to Virgil and be like, you might have more luck than I do. If you'd like to have some of the water.
[00:48:17] Speaker F: Thank you.
He'll take it.
[00:48:22] Speaker B: Cool.
[00:48:23] Speaker A: I'm gonna. Are you gonna dip in some water as well?
[00:48:28] Speaker F: He'll give it a go with an eye to give it to Lucretia if this doesn't work.
[00:48:33] Speaker A: Okay.
I'm going to allow you. Because you rolled a crit on your last roll. I'm just going to say that you, that you, you know, non efficiently sort of just grab like a bunch of this water and it sits there quite nicely in this receptacle.
[00:48:51] Speaker C: Doesn't mind you.
[00:48:52] Speaker F: He'll. He'll.
He'll. He'll give that to Lucretia.
[00:48:57] Speaker C: Thank you.
[00:48:59] Speaker A: The three of you sort of.
As you hand this thing back to Lucretia, Beau and Murden, you notice that Explorer is looking at the three of them and sort of just like tapping his little feet sort of like this. And he's like, happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts.
[00:49:22] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:49:24] Speaker C: Someone programmed it to have happy thoughts.
[00:49:28] Speaker E: Maybe we have to have happy thoughts going over it. Gotta be hopeful. Otherwise just think, that's it.
Cute.
[00:49:37] Speaker A: Yep.
So where are you clambering over to? The other side?
[00:49:43] Speaker C: Yeah, sure.
Did you expect your river puzzle to take quite this long, Nathan?
[00:49:51] Speaker A: No, I'm quite glad it did.
[00:49:52] Speaker C: Oh, good. No, I enjoyed it. It's
[00:49:57] Speaker A: as the, as the last three of you sort of clamber up the side and meet up with Maiden and Bo.
You notice now that the, that the. This mass, like this pale blue sky that you originally entered into this world is now sort of turning into like a very warm sort of orangey glow as the sun, as this bright sun sort of starts going down the. Sort of the ends of the world.
And, and Explorer sort of just like hops around a bit and looks around and go, getting late, getting late.
I will. Yes, I know where to go. And he will continue to hop on a little bit further down the path on the other side.
And I'm gonna take it that the five of you are gonna follow. I don't want to assume.
[00:50:59] Speaker E: Let's go.
[00:51:00] Speaker C: Actually now I'm bored of this little guy. Let's just
[00:51:05] Speaker F: heading off on our own.
[00:51:06] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah.
[00:51:07] Speaker C: Into the wild. Why not? No, we're following you.
[00:51:11] Speaker A: You follow Explorer for what feels like another hour. And while the.
It's obvious that the sun is setting, this very. This very sort of warming orange glow over the skies, turning to pinks and reds, producing this beautiful glow that. That sort of shrouds over the forest.
It's a little bit more like another hour of walking until you approach this, this, this opening. It almost seems like you've been walking through this forest for ages. You've almost become accustomed to what the foliage looks like. But now you've come to an opening, almost like you've got to the other end of the forest and in front of you is a farm.
And Explorer.
Explorer looks at you and he goes like, yes, Aldous. Aldous will help.
[00:52:17] Speaker C: Who is Aldous?
[00:52:20] Speaker A: Aldous the farmer. He lives here.
[00:52:24] Speaker D: I swear, if this Aldous is a talking scarecrow, I am going to.
[00:52:30] Speaker C: That might be the best case scenario based on what we've seen so far, Myrdden. So chin up.
[00:52:36] Speaker F: What is.
[00:52:37] Speaker C: Hopefully he's a friendly scarecrow.
[00:52:40] Speaker A: Do not scare crows. That's not nice.
[00:52:43] Speaker C: Oh, so you have crows. You have crows in. In this place, do you? That's something great.
[00:52:50] Speaker A: Yes. Crows.
[00:52:52] Speaker C: Are they actually crows or are they happen to be maybe 10 sauce or something strange? Yeah, we'll see.
[00:53:00] Speaker E: When you say farm, is there crops, is there livestock? Livestock, are there horses? Just.
[00:53:10] Speaker C: Just snatches as far as the eye can see.
[00:53:14] Speaker A: Snatches as far as the eye can see.
What you can see in front of you is a couple of things. Fields, like, quite small fields of these.
These sort of strange fruits that sort of come out of the ground and hang like. Hang like tomatoes, but there's something sort of like pear shaped about them and it's. It's basically a fruit that you've never really seen before, but they. They're growing in sort of bunches.
It's not a very big farm. It's a very sort of smallish farm. But there's a barn sort of like a fair few sort of meters in front of you.
There's a couple more sort of different crops of.
Of what you can only guess is sort of like some sort of corn adjacent sort of thing. But again, in the, in the, in the darkness of the evening, now that it's starting to. To sort of go more into twilight and the sort of shimmer that comes off these. These weird sorts of fruit and veg that are growing in these fields, you can't really pick out what they are until you probably either get a little bit closer, but you can't see any cattle around. But you notice that there are barns in the distance. So there may very well be some sort of animals.
[00:54:44] Speaker D: Are there. So sorry, was there a. Presumably there's a sort of like a farm house?
[00:54:50] Speaker A: Yes. Yeah.
[00:54:51] Speaker D: Are there lights on through the windows?
[00:54:55] Speaker A: Yes, there are lights sort of like dotted around in the farmhouse and in the barn.
[00:55:02] Speaker B: Okay, go speak to Aldous.
[00:55:09] Speaker A: Explorer sort of toddles. He stopped hopping now and he's just sort of waddling along sort of through the crops and up to the, the farmhouse and he'll just, he'll just kind of stay here and he'll just sort of sit there and look at you as he sort of. As you approach the farmhouse door.
[00:55:38] Speaker B: I can knock.
[00:55:39] Speaker C: Yeah, I think Pallie's probably the most trustworthy looking person at the door. He's got a very honest face.
[00:55:50] Speaker B: Sorry, Bo.
Yeah, I will very like sturdily, incompetently knock on the door.
[00:56:02] Speaker A: As you knock on the door, you, you'll hear this. I'm coming, I'm coming, like that.
And you can hear sort of like this shuffling probably in like a kitchen or something. The shuffling of like cutlery and a sort of a scooch of a chair as this very sort of laborious walk of hooves comes up to the door and he just like, there's not even a sound of it unlocking, it just opens and he. And this what steps in front of you is this very elderly sort of hunched over keeper. Um, probably because of his age, once upon a time he may have been much more taller, but at the moment it seems that like age has sort of like given him a hunch and he probably is probably just a bit taller than sort of maiden. He's probably sort of like 6 foot, 6 foot, 5, 7 foot as he sort of, as he kind of. You can see the sort of glaze look over his eyes that gives him impression that he's blind.
And he, he'll kind of scan over the five of you and, and kind of give a sniff and he's just like, oh, well, you know, there's no need to, there's no need to knock. You can always let yourself in.
[00:57:33] Speaker B: Well, that's very kind of you, sir.
Our new friend, explorer. And then he'll realize that he's blind.
We met Explorer out on the road and he says this is a place that is safe and to come.
[00:57:47] Speaker A: Oh, one of those, one of those little fellas Yeah, I know the explorer bots very well.
[00:57:53] Speaker B: Explorer bots? So there's quite a few more of these?
[00:57:58] Speaker A: Why, yes. Boy, have you not had your. Your head screwed on quite ready today? Everyone knows the explorer bots.
[00:58:07] Speaker B: We've kind of only recently arrived, actually.
[00:58:10] Speaker A: Odd. What you've. I know that you've only just arrived here.
[00:58:16] Speaker B: Gosh, I think Paddy will look kind of like Worriedly. Maybe to Lucretia. Maybe tonight I could be happy. You can't. But I'm not staying in the situation.
[00:58:26] Speaker C: I think what my young companion is trying to say is that we have only just arrived in the region.
We are not familiar with these lands.
[00:58:37] Speaker A: The keeper is just that.
Oh, you. You kids. You play pretend. I understand. I don't recognize your voices.
[00:58:47] Speaker C: That's because we've only just got here, Aldous. That's what I'm saying. We're not from around here. We were transported.
[00:58:55] Speaker A: I'm. I'm not. I'm not Aldous.
[00:58:58] Speaker C: Oh, sorry.
[00:58:59] Speaker A: I know. I thought my eyes needed check.
[00:59:01] Speaker C: Apologies. Oh, we're looking for Aldous. I'm so sorry. Who are you?
[00:59:06] Speaker A: Well, I'm. I'm his grandpappy, of course.
[00:59:08] Speaker C: Oh, right. Well, fair enough.
[00:59:10] Speaker A: You know, it's good old. It's good old Tucker's here.
[00:59:14] Speaker C: Tuckers? Tuckers, yes. Meet you. Tuckers.
[00:59:18] Speaker D: Sorry, Tuckers or Tuckers?
[00:59:21] Speaker A: Tuck us.
[00:59:22] Speaker E: Tuck us.
[00:59:23] Speaker C: Okay.
Okay.
Very well. Lovely to meet you, Tuckers. Please, could we speak to Aldous?
[00:59:38] Speaker A: Well, you. I mean, everybody knows this is the time of day that he's got to work in the stables, so that's. That's where you'll find him.
[00:59:46] Speaker F: Are you.
[00:59:46] Speaker A: Are you help? And he sniffs around five of you. I don't.
[00:59:53] Speaker C: My goodness.
[00:59:55] Speaker A: Well, you have to have a good half of you.
You gotta have a good sniffer when your peepers don't work, you know?
[01:00:02] Speaker C: That's so true. Yes.
[01:00:05] Speaker A: But you. I mean, you five do look quite lost. I mean, do you wanna. Do you wanna come in? I can make you some tea.
[01:00:14] Speaker C: Oh, and Lucretia looks at the others.
[01:00:18] Speaker D: Perhaps we should speak to this Aldous first.
[01:00:22] Speaker C: Yes, yes. Aldous first.
[01:00:23] Speaker A: Oh, well, yes.
Oh, well, then.
I'll get the kettle on the stove.
[01:00:28] Speaker C: Thank you.
[01:00:29] Speaker A: And Aldous, you know. You know where that. Well, if you're saying you're new here, and he sort of gives like, a wink.
New in the region. You.
[01:00:40] Speaker C: You.
[01:00:40] Speaker A: For kids and your funny stories.
You can find him.
You can find him in the stables.
[01:00:49] Speaker C: Thank you, Tucker. Absolute delight. We'll be back for that tea presently.
[01:00:53] Speaker A: Oh, I'll get on that right now, missy. And he sort of wanders in.
[01:00:59] Speaker C: I guess we have to find a stable, I suppose.
Explorer.
[01:01:07] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:01:08] Speaker C: Do you know where the stable is?
[01:01:11] Speaker A: He kind of goes beep, beep, follow me. And he'll just sort of trundle you around the. He'll trundle you around the bar.
[01:01:21] Speaker C: I say, okay, pallie, let's try this again. Correct person sort of ushers you ahead to stable door.
[01:01:29] Speaker B: Okay. Well, at least now I know. Apparently we're crazy because we don't. We're not from here. So that's.
[01:01:34] Speaker C: Yes. Maybe break it to Aldous gently.
[01:01:38] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay.
Anyone else got any ideas on how to broach this? Apart from we are not from here, but sure,
[01:01:49] Speaker F: being incredibly earnest.
[01:01:52] Speaker B: I mean, that's all I can do.
That is the truth.
[01:01:55] Speaker C: That is what Pali tends to do.
[01:01:56] Speaker E: Yes.
[01:02:00] Speaker B: Head towards the table then.
[01:02:03] Speaker A: Okay, as. As you head towards the stable, you kind of hear this, this like raking of, of hay.
Just general work and someone whistling to themselves as they are, as they are just performing some work. Um, the five of you walk round. Who, who would be the first in line to sort of look round into this stable?
[01:02:29] Speaker B: I feel like I'm being pushed, so.
[01:02:31] Speaker C: Yeah, fully pushed.
[01:02:35] Speaker A: Hali, as you, as you sort of like peer round into this stable, you see like, you see like a couple of what you can tell are like still horses, but they are.
They're all sorts of different colors. They sort of shimmer in this rain rainbow.
And their manes are just like. They're almost like cracked crystals as they sort of, they sort of hang on there. And they're like these big shire horses as they, as they stand in these stables and. But one of the stables towards sort of like actually fairly close to you as you, as you sort of gaze at these, these quite beautiful creatures you see in one of the locked stables. So the doors sort of like closed off. It is another keeper. You can see the back of him.
He's dark skinned. He's got like a pink braided, long, long braid sort of down his head.
And you can kind of tell even from the back of him that he has like two horns on his front. But he almost has like two horns sort of like producing from his forehead as well.
And he's just wearing sort of usual overalls and he's just kind of got his back turned to you as he's raking up. Hey,
[01:04:09] Speaker B: we'll try this again.
Excuse me, are you Aldis?
[01:04:16] Speaker A: Aldis looks around and he's sort of taken Aback.
He's just like, yes.
And like, Aldis is quite a young guy. He probably only looks to be in his mid-20s.
And he's.
And he's like, yeah, can.
Can I help you?
[01:04:44] Speaker B: Yeah, the explorer, Sorry, explorer bot friend said that you would be a good person to talk to. We're kind of lost.
[01:04:56] Speaker A: You're.
He really looks concerned and he's just like. You're.
You're last with. Well, no one's. No one's lost in Sanctuary.
[01:05:07] Speaker B: Yeah, about that.
We are unfortunately very lost.
We've really just arrived and the explorer said he'd take us somewhere safe.
[01:05:20] Speaker A: Aldis, he.
He sort of rubs his hand across his face and he's just like, that's.
That's. That's impossible. Like, who. Who could be lost in century? We. We all know each other. Like, who.
Who are you? And as the.
And as the four of you, as the other four of you come round and Aldis sort of opens this stable door, you're struck. Struck by the fact that despite the fact that he is a keeper, and obviously keeper have hooves. You hear the two hooves.
Three hooves.
Four hooves.
As he.
As he comes out and he has the body like one of these horses.
[01:06:14] Speaker C: Whoa.
[01:06:14] Speaker B: Whoa.
[01:06:20] Speaker A: He's like, who. Who are you?
[01:06:22] Speaker E: Who are you?
[01:06:22] Speaker A: Who are you?
[01:06:24] Speaker B: Wow.
[01:06:26] Speaker C: Amazing.
[01:06:29] Speaker A: He gets. He blushes and just kind of goes like.
[01:06:32] Speaker E: Does that mean he has a dungaree faucet?
So it goes dungarees?
[01:06:38] Speaker C: Yeah. How does he wear. Or is it like a really long dungaree?
[01:06:43] Speaker F: I know.
[01:06:44] Speaker C: Or is it just down the front. The torso and the front legs?
[01:06:48] Speaker A: Yeah.
I have popped him in foundry, if you. If you can't see.
[01:06:54] Speaker C: So he's only just got. He's even got a plaited tail.
[01:06:59] Speaker E: Amazing.
[01:07:01] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:07:01] Speaker F: Did his granddad also have this?
[01:07:04] Speaker C: No, no, no.
[01:07:09] Speaker A: He's. He. He just looks at you a little bit frightened, a little bit curious.
[01:07:17] Speaker B: I feel like Paddy will have, like, his hands. Like he. He will look as soft and affable and as friendly as Paddy can, which hopefully is quite considering.
I promise we mean no harm.
[01:07:34] Speaker A: He's like, okay, but I mean, this is You. You sure you. You folks aren't. Aren't from around here?
[01:07:47] Speaker D: Guess we are quite sure.
[01:07:53] Speaker A: Well, poof.
That is a.
That is a predicament you. You. You guys have got yourselves into here.
[01:08:03] Speaker C: Aldous, can. Can you tell us something, please?
Are we in elsewhere?
[01:08:09] Speaker A: Well, of course you're in elsewhere. Where else would you be? Oh, I mean, as what was left of elsewhere anyway.
[01:08:17] Speaker C: And how much is that well, we
[01:08:22] Speaker A: only have century left.
[01:08:25] Speaker C: You're saying that the rest of Elsweyr disappeared and the only people in Sanctuary are the people of Sanctuary? You never have. New arrival?
[01:08:37] Speaker A: No, not for like not. Not for like 30 years.
[01:08:42] Speaker C: I never thought.
[01:08:45] Speaker E: That explains why he's got four legs, very small gene pool.
[01:08:52] Speaker A: I beg your pardon?
[01:08:53] Speaker C: Don't mind him.
Focus on me. Eyes on me.
[01:08:58] Speaker A: Aldous, I'll have you. I'll have you know, these were. These were a magical gift. Thank you.
[01:09:05] Speaker C: Who from?
[01:09:08] Speaker A: From the Princess, I think.
[01:09:11] Speaker C: I think we need to start from the beginning. My name is Lucretia Val. And these are my esteemed colleagues.
We are not from Sanctuary.
[01:09:23] Speaker A: Wow.
Well, yeah, we.
Let's.
Let's get you a hot drink and find out where you lot have come from.
And with that, we'll end it there.
[01:09:46] Speaker B: We did it. We made it.
[01:09:47] Speaker E: Oh my gosh.
[01:09:51] Speaker A: Meanwhile, elsewhere in Sanctuary.
[01:09:54] Speaker F: Elsewhere in.
[01:09:55] Speaker C: Elsewhere, elsewhere in Sanctuary,
[01:10:02] Speaker A: A looming large stained glass window brings the moonlight through into this large corridor.
The walls brightly pink, now faded in sort of like the moonlight glow.
A silhouette of a tall woman with a high.
With a high bunched up ponytail, large ears, and an ordain like ordinant dress, like regal but formal, stands in front of this window.
She.
She turns, she gazes through the window first and then turns to this large. This larger figure of a dragon spawn.
And she says, and are you sure they have entered the parameters?
I see.
Okay, let's see if this is what we've been hoping for for then.
And we'll end it there.
If.
If you want to find out what happens next.
