[00:00:22] Speaker A: Hello. [00:00:23] Speaker D: Hello. [00:00:24] Speaker A: Hello, Georgia. [00:00:26] Speaker B: Hello. [00:00:27] Speaker A: And hello, Dan. [00:00:30] Speaker E: Hi. [00:00:31] Speaker A: None of that. We are the Explorers of Elsewhere. If this is your first time on the channel, welcome. It's wonderful to have you. But we will say that you have now come to the finale. We are on the finale of Sanctuary. So if you want to do yourself a favor and you're not spoiled by loads of things, go right back to the beginning of the year, right back to January, where we released Episode zero, and you'll be able to know who these characters are, what they've been through, what they've had to face. You know, sort of like unknown worlds, mystical creatures turning into horses, or, you [00:01:12] Speaker C: know, don't just watch this. If you're gonna go back, watch the mine, watch the Tales of Equestria. [00:01:21] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:01:22] Speaker A: Ye. [00:01:25] Speaker E: If you. If you watch all the episodes in reverse order, what story gets told, then [00:01:32] Speaker A: you lot just bugger off. You see a man fail at his marriage and then you just go off. [00:01:48] Speaker C: So. [00:01:48] Speaker A: Yeah, but there's not only. So obviously we just talked about Tales of Equestria, but we're playing Dagger Heart at the moment, which is very closely on recording. This is approaching its first birthday and I'm sure we'll say a nice little yay, cool Dagger Heart, because we played a lot of Dagger Heart on this channel. But Dagger Heart is not the only thing that we're playing at the moment. Probably from this time, streaming campaign four may have very well started, which is Dan's about to. About to. Or has. We don't know. But yes, which is Dan's Big Beautiful Baby, which streams on a Monday, every Monday, 7:30 UK time, which is using the Fabula Ultima system, but which we've played before. If you want to check back on some of the other tales from Elsewhere, where we've also played Drawn Steel and we've also played Call of Cthulhu, obviously, we've played Dagger Heart and we've played D and D and we've played Blades in the Dark and we've played all sorts of games. So do feel free to go through the plethora of our catalog and check out what we've played before. If you are enjoying Dagger Heart and you want to get a version of it yourself, we have an affiliate link with DriveThruRPG, which you can find in the description below. If you click on that. It doesn't cost you anything extra, but it gives us a little bit of a kickback which is always really helpful for the channel. If you enjoy this episode and you want to see what actually happens in the finale. Farley, because this is part one want to happen know what happens in part two? Episodes of Sanctuary get released a week early for our members, so you'll be able to watch part two straight away. It cost about £2amonth. You can join via YouTube or you can join via our Patreon, whichever you prefer. It's £2amonth. But obviously if money is not great at the moment, which it isn't for a lot of people and we totally understand, don't worry because it will get released the next week at Thursday round about 07:30 ish UK time if you want to join. Also something for free, we have a discord which you can find the link in our description below, which is absolutely free and you can come in and you can chat with us and we share artwork that we may have very well in the episode or artwork that we do ourselves. We talk about different systems and what's coming up in the channel and all sorts of lovely stuff like that. So do feel free to join and have a little bit of an ATT with us. It would be great. I think that is everything. So without further ado. [00:04:37] Speaker C: Hello, I'm Julia and I play Lucretia, a lorevar wizard. [00:04:44] Speaker D: Hi, my name is Theo and I'll be playing Pally, a Wolfkin seraph. [00:04:50] Speaker B: Hi, I'm Georgia and I'll be playing Vergil, a sanguivar ranger. [00:04:57] Speaker E: Hi, my name is DM Dan and I'm playing Myrdden, a Wolfkin guardian druid. [00:05:03] Speaker F: Hi, I'm Livy and I'll be playing Beau, the dragonsent warrior. [00:05:10] Speaker A: And my name is Nate and I'll be the GM for this adventure. The five of you, upon entering through the castle doors are witness a room in front of you that you do not recognize. From the first time that you entered the castle, the room vaguely looks similar, but now it has become almost like opaque as glittering stars and swirling clouds sort of give an almost otherworldly feel to this environment that you're in. You can, you can feel the floor beneath your feet, but it almost feels that this, this, this opaque sort of structure could disintegrate in any moment. You the. The five of you are finding it quite jarring to stand upon this. It almost feels like if you tried, you could pretty Much put your hand through a wall and it would just go straight through. But you know, your task and your task, as you've agreed between the five of you, is to now to find the princess. To find Princess Rejoice or at least the. The vision of the young princess who you've met before. You believe that this is the only way to bring out her mother, Lady Blessing, or as some people have called her, Queen Blessing or the Queen of Sanctuary. As you can see, I have set you an eight segment clock. The. The task ahead of you is to navigate the castle the way it is. Of course, you've only been in sort of like about three rooms in this castle and this castle is huge. So now it is your. Your chance to navigate through this castle and find where the princess is being kept. What do you do? [00:07:57] Speaker F: Well, we were. Were we told that she's most likely to be in the conservatory at the back. [00:08:04] Speaker C: That's well remembered. Who told you that? Was it Rejoice? Was it the Elder? [00:08:08] Speaker F: It's very rare that I remember anything, so I. [00:08:12] Speaker D: Was it Fenway who said it to us? [00:08:15] Speaker A: It was Finway who told you? [00:08:17] Speaker F: Yeah, Finway Steve, my favourite boy. I remember things that my favorites say. [00:08:23] Speaker B: I have. No, I was gonna say I've got internal compass, but that doesn't mean anything. It's just the name of a skill. [00:08:30] Speaker C: What does the skill do? [00:08:32] Speaker B: It means whenever I roll one on my hope die, I can reroll it. Oh, I've never used. [00:08:40] Speaker C: Gosh. Because you've never rolled a one. Never rolled a one. [00:08:47] Speaker F: I think we just got ahead to the. [00:08:50] Speaker B: Wow. [00:08:52] Speaker F: We're going all the way through. [00:08:53] Speaker C: Just, just head to the back. [00:08:55] Speaker F: Head to the back. [00:08:56] Speaker C: Just, just forge ahead. [00:08:58] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:09:00] Speaker A: Okay, so let's, let's paint a scene for you as the, as you walk into this. As you walk into this large sort of like hallway that you remember that you walked into beforehand. You remember that towards the back, behind sort of like a pillar of stairs was a small room where you first spoke to Princess Rejoice by herself, where she had like a little blanket for. For. And then to the right there was another room, like a board room where you. Or a drawing room, more like where you spoke with Lady Rondonisa. [00:09:40] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:09:41] Speaker A: So it's up. So you, you probably know that there's no way through that little room where you found the blankets or anything. But it's still there if you wish to go there. Or you can. Or you can head to the right and go through there, or you can head to the left through A room that you haven't been through. [00:10:09] Speaker F: Door number three, please. [00:10:13] Speaker C: Discovery. [00:10:15] Speaker A: Discovery. [00:10:17] Speaker B: I. I do have apparently in my vault a skill called gifted tracking. [00:10:22] Speaker C: What does it say? What does it. What does it do? [00:10:25] Speaker B: As when you're tracking a specific creature or group of creatures based on signs of their passage, you can spend any number of hope. I have two hope and ask the GM that many questions from the following list. Which direction did they go? How long ago did they pass through? What were they doing in this. This location? And how many were there? [00:10:44] Speaker C: There's probably only one question out of that lot that we really need. [00:10:48] Speaker F: What droppings are you looking for? What footsteps are you sniffing like cereal? Just like Cheerios. [00:10:57] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:10:58] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:10:59] Speaker B: Really close to the ground. [00:11:01] Speaker C: Leaving snacks behind her. [00:11:05] Speaker B: I mean you. Could you. [00:11:06] Speaker C: How much is the recall cost for that bad boy? [00:11:11] Speaker B: As in to get out your vault? [00:11:14] Speaker F: Stress is usually a stress. [00:11:16] Speaker A: One. One stress. Because some it will say whether or not it's one or two stress or zero stress. Some of them are zero stress. [00:11:22] Speaker C: I think I've got one of them stress to recall. [00:11:25] Speaker B: It doesn't. Oh, zero. Yeah. Zero because it's not really. [00:11:28] Speaker C: Get it out. Swap it out. [00:11:30] Speaker A: Get it out. [00:11:31] Speaker C: You don't need all those other spells. Get rid of those healing spells, Virgil. You don't need them. [00:11:41] Speaker F: I'll send. [00:11:42] Speaker C: I'm just form [00:11:45] Speaker A: you with your three hit points left. You don't need healing sp. [00:11:49] Speaker B: Yeah, I forgot about that. [00:11:51] Speaker C: What's. [00:11:51] Speaker F: What's. [00:11:52] Speaker C: What's that one that you can only do once a day and you've already done it on someone or no, you didn't. I don't think you did in the end, did you? [00:11:57] Speaker A: No, you didn't do it in the end. [00:11:58] Speaker C: That was good. [00:11:59] Speaker A: That was. I felt like it was only fair considering that I knew it wouldn't work. [00:12:05] Speaker B: Also. [00:12:05] Speaker F: Are you still a horse? [00:12:06] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm still a horse. [00:12:11] Speaker A: Do you like George's new token? [00:12:13] Speaker C: I love it. It's one of the best things I've ever seen. [00:12:19] Speaker A: Unfortunately, I don't think anyone watching will be able to see the token because we're not sharing it. [00:12:23] Speaker E: Oh, no. Oh, okay. [00:12:24] Speaker D: Okay. [00:12:24] Speaker E: They can see the token. [00:12:26] Speaker B: Good. [00:12:33] Speaker A: How does this card work again? How does this. How does the spell work again? [00:12:37] Speaker B: Spend hope. And I ask you a question. So I'm going to spend one hope because I've got one. [00:12:40] Speaker A: Okay. [00:12:41] Speaker B: Which direction did the princess go? I feel like I'll need a hope at some point today. [00:12:51] Speaker D: You, [00:12:55] Speaker A: Virgil, as you are, don't know if horses have very good eyesight as you look through as you. [00:13:04] Speaker E: It's just this horse, like [00:13:07] Speaker B: out is like [00:13:12] Speaker D: you. [00:13:13] Speaker A: You're able to sort of smell, like a lot better than you used to be able to smell now that you're in this equine form. And you. Even though, like everywhere around you is very sort of. Is a bit sort of like weird, basically you can smell. You can smell sort of like that very light smell of just like sweets [00:13:41] Speaker D: and [00:13:44] Speaker A: just sort of like floralness that you remember that came off the princess when you first met her. You can tell that that smell is actually coming from the boardroom, from the. From the room to your right. [00:14:00] Speaker C: Ooh, [00:14:03] Speaker B: I should point myself in that direction. I believe they went. I think she's through here. [00:14:09] Speaker C: Does horse Virgil talk? Wow. Dear. Proper horsey voice. [00:14:21] Speaker B: He not already have a proper horsy voice. [00:14:23] Speaker C: He's like. She went. [00:14:27] Speaker F: That's like. [00:14:37] Speaker B: You had a disgrace to the naked wood. [00:14:44] Speaker E: The bear, the talking bear is looking at you thinking, there is so much wrong with his picture. Why are you green? [00:14:56] Speaker F: He has his hair back, so he's suspending all of his time. [00:14:59] Speaker B: Oh, just like my younger days. [00:15:03] Speaker E: Is there not like a ball patch in the main? [00:15:07] Speaker A: You've got a little comb over. [00:15:08] Speaker E: You've got a comb over. [00:15:11] Speaker D: He still has more haircut. [00:15:18] Speaker A: So. Yes. Where after that, where would you like to go? [00:15:22] Speaker C: I guess we should go, please. [00:15:24] Speaker A: Boardroom. Cool. [00:15:25] Speaker C: Follow the scent. [00:15:27] Speaker A: Follow the scent. So, Virgil, are you leading the way? [00:15:31] Speaker B: I will lead the way. [00:15:32] Speaker A: Lead the way. Okay. [00:15:35] Speaker E: How polished are the floors? You can't play havoc on hooves. [00:15:41] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [00:15:41] Speaker A: Virgil, how well are you dealing with being in hooves again, do you? I feel like you'd probably actually have, like a good control now, seeing as this is not the first time you have been hooved. [00:15:50] Speaker B: His first rodeo being all great, like being a cartoon horse is. It feels very different to being a real horse. Yeah. Oh, this is unexpected. I've made a mistake. [00:16:06] Speaker A: I mean, both you and Mirden are finding it of a bit of a struggle trying to get through the doors, to be fair. In your rather large states, do they [00:16:17] Speaker C: both try and get through the door at the same time and they shove up against each other. [00:16:26] Speaker A: But I guess you are comforted in the knowledge knowing that if a big dragon spawn like Guardian have been able to sort of transverse the. The castle quite fine, then you. You, both of you should be okay. So, yeah, the. The lot of you are now in this sort of like this drawing room, this large drawing room, which you remember was where you had the. Is where you had the original chat with Lady Rondanisa, obviously it now looks completely different. It's not the pristine white sort of walls, the sort of marble walls that she originally introduced you to. It's obviously still this very opaque sort of galaxy like room. There is. There is a door that's sort of like leading to the other side of the room. And there are. In this room there are a number of, like, there's a number of very tall, large, like bookcases with all sorts of like reams of books that are sort of hanging around in them. A couple of big shade longe sort of like sofas. But. Yeah. What would you like to do? [00:17:46] Speaker C: Lucretia's looking around really longingly like she just really wishes she could stretch out on the shades long with a book. Oh, but there's no tie. [00:17:58] Speaker A: Lucre, as you start. I was. Yeah, there is a door at the other side of this room. Like a. The door is closed, but you don't know whether or not it's locked or not. But Lucretia, as you start looking at the. The books and longing to see if there's anything you could do with these, if you just, just you long for a time where you could just sit down with a good cup of tea and a really interesting book, as you, as your eyes sort of dart over them, you notice that the titles are. Are of names. Like, there's no titles that you've actually never heard of, but there are titles of names all the way along the. The bookcases. Would you like to have a closer. A closer look? [00:18:50] Speaker C: Definitely. I guess I'm going to see if there's any names I recognize. [00:18:54] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:18:55] Speaker C: Maybe go straight to the Rs for rejoice if there's one of those. [00:19:01] Speaker F: Are there the names for children? [00:19:04] Speaker C: Yeah. Is it just the children? Are there people like Kelph in there as well? [00:19:08] Speaker A: Could you roll me a. Could you roll me a knowledge roll for me, please? [00:19:14] Speaker C: Certainly can. Just a regular. [00:19:17] Speaker A: Just a regular knowledge roll. [00:19:19] Speaker C: I could, I could. I could apply an experience to that. I. It could be my academic savant experience. I'm very good at consulting libraries and the like. I will do it with stress instead of hope, which means I'll get a plus six to this instead of a plus three. Okay. Oh, it's an 11 and a one. It's a 19 with fear. It's a 19 with fear, but it's not. It's a 22 with fear. [00:19:54] Speaker A: 22. Okay, so a 22 with fear. [00:20:02] Speaker D: You. [00:20:04] Speaker A: You do. You can rec. You kind of go through, but you notice that these are not in alphabetical order. They are all sort of higgledy piggledy, which sort of annoys you to an egregious amount. [00:20:14] Speaker C: That is awful. [00:20:15] Speaker A: Who doesn't alpha alphabeticalize their books? But with you going, with you going through, you do notice that there's names that you don't recognize. But then like, you do fool on one book it says Finway. And then next to that you see Roller. And then next to that you see bb. [00:20:41] Speaker C: Right. [00:20:41] Speaker A: And as you continue sort of going across these books, you realize that there are names of everyone in Sanctuary. And as you keep on going along and seeing who you recognize, do you. Is there any other names that you'd be looking for? [00:21:01] Speaker F: Any thoughts, people, anyone potentially be there? Is your sister's name there? [00:21:07] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, yeah. Valyria would be a good one because [00:21:11] Speaker A: she's yet in the traitor's camp. [00:21:12] Speaker D: But she's been in Sanctuary. [00:21:14] Speaker C: She has. [00:21:15] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:21:16] Speaker A: There is a number of like. There are a number of like books that you have to go through to sort of see if you can find. But you do find Valyria. And next to that you find a Valor. And then next to that you find Pali. And then next to that you find Myrden. Until you find sort of like all of us five books with all your names on them. [00:21:48] Speaker F: Okay, Criminal records. [00:21:51] Speaker C: I think we need to check how many crimes. So I don't mean to alarm anybody, but everyone in Sanctuary has a book, including us. So I'm taking requests. And she gets ready to take a book down. Who's most keen to find out what the heck is in these volumes? [00:22:15] Speaker B: What could they possibly say? We've hardly been here a day. [00:22:18] Speaker C: Virgil. Okay. And so she pulls your book off the shelf and I. I hold it quite far away from my face because I know magical books and I maybe I have. I got my mage hand. I have not got my mage hand handy. So no, I'll do it with my own. [00:22:36] Speaker D: Is it like a pamphlet or is it like a full heading, slim volume? [00:22:40] Speaker A: No, it is a. It is quite a big. It's quite a big hefty tone. [00:22:46] Speaker F: As is. [00:22:46] Speaker A: As is sort of like, like Merdens is probably sort of like the second biggest, then followed by maybe Lucretia's, then bows and then probably Pally's after that it's definitely crimes. [00:23:04] Speaker D: Be at the top. [00:23:05] Speaker C: Surely it's true. No, no, no. Lucretia is probably guilty of changing reality in various outrageous ways, but no. Okay, I think we'll. I will crack open Virgil's book to get a sense of what is in it. [00:23:23] Speaker A: Where would you like to start? From the beginning. From the middle. The beginning. As you open the book, you. You sort of flip. The first page literally just says Virgil. [00:23:36] Speaker C: Virgil. [00:23:38] Speaker A: And I'm guessing, sort of like Virgil's last name. I'm guessing if. Does Virgil have a last name? [00:23:45] Speaker B: Virgil. V. Virgil. [00:23:46] Speaker C: No, he's Prince. [00:23:49] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:23:54] Speaker C: Virgil. Virgil. [00:23:55] Speaker A: Virgil. Virgil. As you. As you start from the front cover, you notice that sort of like the front cover very has, like. It's blank. There's nothing on there. And then as you. As you flip. As you flip through the pages a little bit more, there's like something like. There's sort of a, like incoherent scribbles that sort of come into place. As you flip from the sec to the second page to the third page, you sort of flip there and it kind of goes like. It just goes something like, sad, happy, hungry, hungry. Sad, angry. Wet, sad, happy, angry. [00:24:44] Speaker C: This is you on an average Saturday night, Nate, isn't it? [00:24:56] Speaker A: And as you. As you sort of flip through the pages, the. [00:25:01] Speaker B: This. [00:25:02] Speaker A: The lines start becoming more coherent. They start becoming like, I want. I want food. Mummy says no, I cry. And as you continue sort of going along, the. The sentences started. Become more coherent, they become more linear, they become more conversational. They become more sort of understandable. There are points that you. You. You kind of flip through that beginning bit, and it's just like you. You read about a passage about meeting some. Some boys, some children the same age as you and. And wanting to join them. And you go on a little bit longer, and then you find another page about those children disappearing and leaving you in trouble. You flip through some more pages, and then you find words about very, very sort of like earnestly sort of praising words about a monastery. You flip a couple more pages. [00:26:17] Speaker C: I'm gonna stop you there because Lucretia's getting an impression of what this book is. And she's sort of. She's reading this book and starts to sort of. Her eyes start to flick up to Virgil's face occasionally as she reads. And then at one point, she pauses and sort of half closes the book and says, virgil, it's your life. [00:26:47] Speaker B: I see. [00:26:48] Speaker C: Have a look. And she passes it over to you. [00:26:54] Speaker D: He's a horse, [00:26:57] Speaker B: right? [00:26:58] Speaker C: I don't. Maybe I show it to him. I don't know. Totally forgotten. You're a green horse. So bizarre. Oh, no. But, yeah, I sort of don't feel right reading this anymore. I say. But, yeah, she Just assumes this is what all of the books are. And some. Somehow [00:27:31] Speaker E: Theo's lost it. [00:27:38] Speaker C: Well, okay, I'll tell you what. I'm gonna jump to the last page or whatever last page has writing on it, see what it says. [00:27:50] Speaker A: Obviously, obviously trying to do your best by Virgil. You don't read the rest of the text. You just kind of flip. Continue flipping through this page until you get to the very last page where this. Where the writing seems to stop dead halfway through it. You. You sort of scour this. The page just before then talks about turning into a green horse and how relatively quite exciting this is to. To find this new. This new power to talk about why Virgil turned into a green horse. [00:28:26] Speaker B: You. [00:28:27] Speaker A: And then it. And then it goes on about entering the castle and entering where they are and sort of describing his feelings about that. But when it says to. It gets to this. It gets to sort of like a sentence that reads along the lines of, we. We entered the drawing room and I felt. And then it stops there. [00:28:55] Speaker C: Is there any writing appearing on the page? [00:28:58] Speaker A: No. [00:29:03] Speaker C: Very curious. [00:29:06] Speaker F: If we wrote in the book, can we make our own future? Say that he's got a hat. See if he gets a hat. [00:29:25] Speaker C: I'm not sure we should be interfering with the books in that way, Beau. It could be harmless if we. [00:29:33] Speaker F: Who's got a pen? [00:29:34] Speaker C: Who's got a pen? Oh, my goodness. A wizard always has a pen, and she gets a pen out of her. Virgil, is. Is there anything in particular in the name of experimentation that you would like me to write? [00:29:52] Speaker B: I suppose. Give me a hat. Why not? [00:29:58] Speaker F: You have a hat like mine. [00:30:01] Speaker C: I guess Lucretia's gonna write in the book. Just below the line that's half stopped. I am wearing a lovely hat. [00:30:17] Speaker A: Roll me a. I mean, tell me, how would. What would you like? What would you like? What would you like to roll for this? [00:30:28] Speaker C: What would I. I mean, it's probably. I'm. We're dabbling with magic here, so I'm probably going to do knowledge. [00:30:38] Speaker A: Yes. [00:30:42] Speaker E: There is always the chaos roll, where you just roll your hope and fear and see what's higher. [00:30:48] Speaker A: Yeah, that's true. [00:30:49] Speaker C: What's that? Is that a special, special thing or. [00:30:55] Speaker E: Yeah, you just a fate roll. You just roll the dice. [00:30:57] Speaker C: Anything I need to click for that, I guess. [00:31:00] Speaker F: Just. [00:31:03] Speaker A: Just any dice, really. [00:31:04] Speaker E: Any. Any role. [00:31:05] Speaker C: Okay, I'll just. Shall I just do a duality roll or. [00:31:08] Speaker A: Yeah, do a duality roll. [00:31:10] Speaker B: Perfect. [00:31:10] Speaker C: Okay. It looks like my hope is higher. It is a 20. It would be a 22 with hope or a 12. [00:31:19] Speaker B: Hope. [00:31:19] Speaker A: Yes. With I will say with the 22 with hope you start writing kind of ignoring where the sentence ended. Or do you write I felt like I was wearing a lovely cowboy hat. [00:31:36] Speaker C: I felt excited because I was wearing a lovely hat. [00:31:39] Speaker A: Okay. After you finish writing this, you Virgil, a lovely cowboy hat pops in your head. [00:31:58] Speaker C: Oh my goodness. [00:32:00] Speaker A: And because this lovely cowboy hat has appeared on your head, you do suddenly start hearing this like this giggle, this sort of young girl's giggle in just around you. [00:32:15] Speaker B: Perhaps if we wrote in someone else's book, it might. [00:32:25] Speaker D: I I volunteer. If you want to write in my [00:32:27] Speaker C: book, why don't you write in your book? Palia. And she hands you her pen. [00:32:38] Speaker D: Okay. I take my obviously much smaller T off the library shelf and I think about the princess's love of horses and her childish sense of humor. I think Pad's going to open his page and he's going to add something along the lines of I felt a bit silly because my tunic turned pink. [00:33:25] Speaker A: Your tunic turned pink? Roll me a duality roll. [00:33:31] Speaker D: Okay. It's not gonna work as well, is it? Okay, duality roll. [00:33:37] Speaker A: You've got a. Can I get 23? Can I 23 with fear. Higher. [00:33:44] Speaker D: I have fearless. When you roll a fear, you can mark two stress to change it to a roll with hope instead. And I am tempted because I do feel like this is important. [00:33:52] Speaker C: We don't know what's going to happen if we roll the fairy. [00:33:55] Speaker D: Yes, I'm going to mark. I'll mark my stress [00:34:03] Speaker A: and it changed it into a roll with hope instead. [00:34:06] Speaker C: Nice. [00:34:10] Speaker A: Yes, with that 23 with hope because you changed it to a hope. Yes. You do feel your. As you finish writing those last letters, your tunic then sort of just drains from that blue that you're used to into a gorgeous baby pink. [00:34:30] Speaker F: A [00:34:34] Speaker C: very fetching pally. [00:34:36] Speaker D: Thanks. Do we hear anything? [00:34:40] Speaker A: You you suddenly sort of stand around waiting for something to hear and you do again hear that sort of girlish [00:34:50] Speaker C: giggling, but it's just coming from all around. It's just coming in a specific direction. Okay. [00:35:00] Speaker E: Are you sure we want to keep dabbling with this sorcery? [00:35:07] Speaker D: Come on, Miran. [00:35:10] Speaker C: I I I am inclined to to agree with with Mirdan. We shouldn't be frivolous with this power. But now that we know sort of how it works, can we think of a constructive use use for it [00:35:26] Speaker F: here or slegs. [00:35:30] Speaker C: Let's table that idea just for now. [00:35:32] Speaker B: But are a good time can recommend everyone. [00:35:37] Speaker C: It is not time we could to be messing around with horse legs. [00:35:44] Speaker E: We could write in the book that we found the princess. [00:35:47] Speaker B: Yes. Order [00:35:50] Speaker E: the. The route to the princess was shown to us. [00:35:57] Speaker C: Sounds perfect. And she takes Myrdden's book off the wall and hands it to him. Oh, he's a bear. Hold on. Oh my [00:36:11] Speaker F: God. [00:36:12] Speaker E: Two for two. It's just. [00:36:16] Speaker D: No, you just have to ask Berry to do it because Bo, seriously, hasn't [00:36:19] Speaker C: he hand it to Beau. [00:36:20] Speaker D: He's human noid. [00:36:23] Speaker F: Brilliant. So we're going with horse legs. Am I right? [00:36:26] Speaker C: Okay, hands it to Virgil. [00:36:29] Speaker D: He's still a horse. He's still a horse. I'll do it again. I'll do it again. Do you want her to have the bow? [00:36:37] Speaker C: It's fine, it's fine. Beau, if I give this to you, do you promise to do maiden's idea and not the horseless eggs? [00:36:48] Speaker F: Why not both? [00:36:49] Speaker C: It translates. Bo, it looks at you. Behoove you not to mess around in this situation. 5. [00:36:59] Speaker F: 5. [00:37:01] Speaker E: Bo, if you give me horse legs, I am not above eating you. [00:37:10] Speaker B: I think it's good idea. [00:37:14] Speaker F: So I'm writing in murders book. Is that correct? [00:37:17] Speaker C: Y. Yep. [00:37:18] Speaker F: Brilliant. Right. Can I message you what I write in there? [00:37:25] Speaker C: Oh, no. [00:37:27] Speaker E: Yes, you can. [00:37:31] Speaker B: Concern. Concern. [00:37:32] Speaker C: Concern. You're locking in. [00:37:33] Speaker D: Come on. [00:37:40] Speaker C: Fair. [00:37:43] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:37:43] Speaker A: Give me. Give me a roll. Oh my God. Can I add experience of. [00:37:54] Speaker E: I. [00:37:54] Speaker A: Of. I really want this. [00:37:57] Speaker F: The experience is. Please, please, please. [00:38:06] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You can put that on there. [00:38:12] Speaker E: Sweet baby Jesus. [00:38:17] Speaker C: It's late. [00:38:17] Speaker A: But was within it with me it's 18 with fear. [00:38:20] Speaker F: Sorry. [00:38:20] Speaker D: That's fair. [00:38:23] Speaker A: 18 with fear. You as. As Beau sort of holds the book to himself and just sort of scribbles something that the rest of you can't see. Bo, as soon as you write in that last letter, a sort of a pink mist that the. The rest of you couldn't see sort of spreads around the room and sort of changes the room into a long corridor. With that one I will. With the three of your goes, I will pop your clocks up to three. [00:39:05] Speaker C: Okay. [00:39:05] Speaker A: Finding the Princess actually, because actually I will only pop it down to one because one of them has actually been a direct trying to find the princess sort of situation. So because it was a success, but with fear you get a one. So you are now in this. In this corridor that seems to be endlessly like it seems quite long. You can't really see the end in sight. But you do know that this pink sort of smoke that sort of gathered around you and put you into this corridor is now trailing all the way up this corridor sort of leading you all the way up. [00:39:52] Speaker C: Beau, what did you write? [00:39:55] Speaker F: I wrote, can we find a direct and clear route to the process? Obviously. Well, that's what I write. [00:40:03] Speaker C: It's worked very well. [00:40:07] Speaker E: The bear is squinting at you. [00:40:13] Speaker F: Let's go. [00:40:15] Speaker C: Yeah. We follow the pink mist. [00:40:17] Speaker A: Finally missed. Who's. What? What in order are you going? [00:40:23] Speaker C: I think the big bear should. Should probably go. [00:40:26] Speaker A: I'm happy to be up front. Happy to be up fronten. As maiden, as you. As you take your first step as feeling. Feeling sort of like a little bit proud in yourself that you have. You are directing these. These imbeciles to the right direction. As you take the first step, you hear a jingle. You take another step, you hear a jingle. You look down at your feet and you notice your bear paws have gotten quite small. But covering your bear paws are pink belled cowboy boots. [00:41:18] Speaker E: Beauregard. [00:41:22] Speaker F: Yes. [00:41:23] Speaker E: What? What did you do? [00:41:27] Speaker B: Ah, [00:41:29] Speaker F: absolutely nothing. [00:41:31] Speaker C: I. [00:41:31] Speaker F: And I don't. [00:41:34] Speaker B: I don't. [00:41:35] Speaker F: I don't know. I just step a couple of steps towards me and ask me again. [00:41:42] Speaker D: Pally is actually trying not to stick up. [00:41:48] Speaker C: Come on. [00:41:55] Speaker E: Like the bear, like Mirin visibly starts vibrating with ag. Even his stone eye is quivering in its socket. [00:42:07] Speaker C: Come, big man. [00:42:11] Speaker E: Why do I have ballerina feet? [00:42:19] Speaker F: That's not ballerina. Oh, that just. I thought, you know, there's no sneaking up and attacking people at night. If we can hear you coming. [00:42:37] Speaker E: And it didn't occur to you that we might want to sneak up on them, the ones that we're trying to take down. [00:42:47] Speaker F: Come a little closer. I can't hear you. [00:42:52] Speaker E: I will rip your arm off, boy. [00:43:00] Speaker B: As well. Is it just the front paws or [00:43:01] Speaker A: is it all for all four paws, much smaller than they used to be and squeezed in to tiny pink cowboy boots with Balison. Amazing Maiden, as you. As you try to approach Beau and he sort of goes just maneuvers out of your way as the bells jingle. You do hear that giggling again, that giggling of a girl. And the more likely that you remember this, Lucretia. But that music box sound that, that. That melody that you remembered that Princess. Princess Rejoice was listening to. You can hear that very faintly in the distance of this corridor. [00:43:50] Speaker C: Okay, I think. I think we. We just need to carry on. We're all doing our best. And she sort of tries not to laugh. We're all doing our best. And yes, just try not to jingle too loud, maiden. [00:44:09] Speaker F: Yeah, but you know, when you shake it, anger just makes it ring more. [00:44:17] Speaker C: So, you know, meeting for. [00:44:20] Speaker E: For a Moment, Bearden considers turning back into Wolfgang form and he. But he genuinely stops, looks at his big old bear paws that are no longer big old bear paws and thinks, I have no idea what this would look like if I turned back into [00:44:37] Speaker C: me hands and feet, hands and feet. [00:44:45] Speaker A: So as you carry on down this corridor, Would you say, how. How are you taking this? Are you speeding down this corridor? Are you taking it quite gingerly or again, sort of like. [00:45:04] Speaker C: Don't know. We shouldn't rush. [00:45:06] Speaker B: Yeah, carefully. [00:45:07] Speaker C: Take it steady. Careful and steady. [00:45:11] Speaker A: Could all of you give me an instinct check, please? [00:45:19] Speaker B: Oh. [00:45:22] Speaker C: Oh. It's not a reaction, is it? [00:45:28] Speaker A: Actually, yeah, make it a reaction. So we'll class it as a reaction for now. [00:45:30] Speaker C: Do you want. Do you want me to reroll? [00:45:33] Speaker A: Nah, now you're fine. [00:45:34] Speaker B: Okay. [00:45:45] Speaker E: Is this a. Is it perception based in any way, shape or form? [00:45:51] Speaker A: Yes. [00:45:54] Speaker E: Okay, so as a bear, I get advantage. [00:45:58] Speaker C: Advantage for the bear. That's a roll. [00:46:07] Speaker E: Holy moly. [00:46:10] Speaker D: So save the rolls for later. Dan. [00:46:16] Speaker A: Bo, you're probably being too busy trying to evade Swipes from Maiden and trying your best to not get too close to him. And Virgil, you're probably enjoying your really cool new cowboy hat that you've got on your head. But pally Lucretia. And mid. And mid. And even with the jingling of your little cowboy boots going off, you. You three can't help but notice as you sort of continue on down this corridor that these portraits start appearing sort of all the way along the line of this. This row. And you notice in these portraits are pictures of the young princess, but with all different types of children the same age as her. And it just seems to. It just seems to just carry on. [00:47:21] Speaker C: It's like the Friendship Gallery type thing. Yeah. Okay. [00:47:24] Speaker D: I take it you won't see Fenway, because we don't know what. Oh, no, we don't know what, Finley. [00:47:30] Speaker C: No, we don't know what he looked like before. Do we see Lady Rondanisa as a size aquin sprite child In. In, like the first one. [00:47:41] Speaker A: In the very first one that you do see. You do see Princess Rejoice with a very small young aquin sprite girl, like probably about half her height, if not smaller. [00:47:58] Speaker F: What? [00:47:59] Speaker E: Can someone remind me what Guardian was? Didn't they transform? [00:48:06] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:48:07] Speaker C: Well, did they change when they died? Yeah, it was a dragonsent. [00:48:15] Speaker B: Yeah, right, right, right. With like the. The koi markings. [00:48:18] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:48:20] Speaker D: They weren't like a dragon's cone. They were a dragonsent. [00:48:23] Speaker C: Because we asked about the dragonsent in town. Didn't We. When we first arrived. [00:48:32] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:48:32] Speaker C: Tobias Fletcher Finway. Yeah. There were a few they named. I don't know if. I guess they wouldn't have named Guardian because Guardian had probably been a dragon spawn for quite a long time by that point. [00:48:50] Speaker A: Is there anything you want to investigate or do you just want to carry on down this. [00:48:54] Speaker C: I feel like we should probably have a little look at the paintings, shouldn't we? [00:48:59] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. Can we get that? They make the children look happy in the paintings like this. [00:49:06] Speaker B: Are they having a good time? [00:49:10] Speaker D: You know, like, is it like. I don't know, is it like a. Because obviously this is a magical castle. We've seen some very strange things already. Pally's just trying to figure out if the mood of the paintings match the princess or if, like, if there's something weird going on with the paintings, not just subject matter. [00:49:37] Speaker A: Give me. Give me an instinct. [00:49:40] Speaker B: Roll. [00:49:48] Speaker A: 12. [00:49:48] Speaker D: Not good. [00:49:50] Speaker A: With the 12 with fear, you. You continue down this road. But they pretty much look all the same there. There's no sort of change in the princesses, so not nothing that you can really tell. Like, it pretty much looks like she is. She's just there with these children. She looks fairly happy. Like as much as happy as children playing together can be. There's nothing really that you, Pally, can tell from these. From these. From these pictures. I'm gonna add a little fear for me. [00:50:34] Speaker F: How many are there? [00:50:36] Speaker A: Sorry, there's loads. Pally, as. As you look into these. And I will trigger my first clock. Pally, as you. As you look into one of these photos, you notice you sort of take like a closer look into them, [00:51:06] Speaker D: and [00:51:07] Speaker A: you can't help but sort of be drawn into this one's very specific picture it is of. It is of the princess, and she is with sort of like a young wolf king girl that you've never met before in your life. But you can't help but feel drawn to this particular picture. And as you. As you sort of stare into it longer and longer, you then notice that sort of like a fingertip starts coming out. Like this large fingertip almost taking up the entire frame of this. Of this picture. And then as you look around to the next one, you see then another finger from this frame start coming out as the five of you now realize that sort of like fingertips are sort of crawling out of all of these picture frames and are making their way towards you. [00:52:15] Speaker C: This is one of the worst things I've ever heard. Nathan, why are you doing this to us? Do we just run for it? [00:52:26] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:52:28] Speaker C: Yeah, these. [00:52:29] Speaker A: These fingertips are now making their way for you. I'm gonna need to. I'm gonna need all of you to make me reaction agility rolls to absolutely boot it down. Unless there's anything else you want to do. You can either do a reaction agility roll to book it, or if there's anything else you specifically think would help in this time, you can do it. [00:52:53] Speaker C: O, good point. [00:52:55] Speaker E: So these are just like finger pads, right? [00:52:58] Speaker A: These are full fingers with. With sort of long, long black nails that are sort of reaching out. [00:53:10] Speaker E: Mirin is going to do a maen and roar violently and claw at the nearest fingertips. [00:53:23] Speaker A: Give me, give me, give me an attack roll, then for that, give me a bite roll [00:53:31] Speaker E: with avantage because I am an angry boy. [00:53:38] Speaker A: 28 fear. 28. With fair. Yeah, you are able to, as you sort of like smack one of these. One of these fingers. One of these fingers. Because these fingers are huge as they're coming out of these pictures, you are able to deflect one of them and give enough time for Pali, who Unfortunately only rolled a 13, but because you were able to help him, has now given him an opportunity to sort of escape there. So Beau, with a 16, you are able to book it as well. You're able to and sort of skim out of the way of these fingers pally from Mir and making that action. But it does mean they're mid and you will need to make another action to sort of get out. And Virgil and Lucretia, what would you like to do? [00:54:36] Speaker C: Blimey. [00:54:39] Speaker B: Would you like to get on my back? [00:54:43] Speaker C: I. Virgil, I thought you never ask that. [00:54:48] Speaker F: That cowboy hat's giving him all the confidence he ever needed. [00:54:53] Speaker C: Yeah, I mean, I'll get on his back. Do you want me to do anything to get on Virgil's back? [00:54:58] Speaker A: Nathan, Lucretia, with you getting on Virgil's back. [00:55:01] Speaker D: Back. [00:55:01] Speaker A: Virgil, if you can do me a normal agility reaction roll. And Lucretia, if you can give me an agility reaction roll, but with advantage because Virgil's. Virgil's doing the driving. [00:55:15] Speaker C: Nice, I love that. So it's a 28. [00:55:19] Speaker A: That's a 28 and 27. [00:55:22] Speaker F: 27 going. [00:55:24] Speaker C: Can't see us for dust. [00:55:27] Speaker A: Yes. With that, you lot are able to leave. You're able to get out of this corridor with sort of like these fingers sort of coming through you. These fingers are kind of like shooting out with each. A lot of you are trying to sort of like escape. [00:55:47] Speaker C: This is awful. [00:55:49] Speaker A: It almost seems like with each photo you escape. Escape. Like each Picture you escape. Like those fingers are sort of chasing after you. Like, like, almost like hands are sort of like jabbing their way through this corridor. [00:56:06] Speaker E: I hadn't rolled. I've rolled a 13 on the agility to also book [00:56:11] Speaker A: with you trying to help with you helping pally be able to escape and you smacking back one of these. The with a 30 routine. Unfortunately, one of these fingers does sort of pin you down. You're able to sort of like maneuver yourself out of it. But I will ask you to take one stress. [00:56:33] Speaker F: Not quite a lot of stress. Dan. You're quite a stressy boy at the moment. [00:56:38] Speaker E: Hold. [00:56:40] Speaker B: How much stress do you have, Will? [00:56:43] Speaker F: Eight. Will. Eight. [00:56:45] Speaker E: Spence. [00:56:46] Speaker A: Will. [00:56:49] Speaker E: If I would mark a stress. Oh, I might not be both. [00:56:54] Speaker A: Oh, this is when he needed most. [00:56:56] Speaker D: No. [00:56:57] Speaker A: Oh, now I bought. [00:57:01] Speaker E: Okay. Nine out of nine. Stress. Thank you very much. Full of stress. I've been poked. You've literally poked the bear. It's the fact that I was trying to run away and all I can hear is yeah, from these goddamn ballerina boots. [00:57:29] Speaker B: I might have something to help you. Depends where we end up next. [00:57:34] Speaker A: As, as men is the last one. One to sort of you. It surprises you with you hurrying along this corridor and these fingers starting to jam through that. The, the five of you are then able to sort of like appear just in this room. This like you don't know how you, you just sort of fall out of this corridor and land in this. In this room like. And it's no longer, it's no longer. There's no longer this sort of galaxy. Starry night sky, sort of opaque walls. It's lit it more. Looks like a sort of a bedroom. Like a bedroom. Like a very sort of modest. Well, modest for a palace anyway. Sort of like a very small. Like a guest room almost in a way or maybe even more. More like a servant's quarters, I would say. And there's nothing, there's. There doesn't appear to be anything sort of magical about this room. [00:58:30] Speaker C: It's. [00:58:30] Speaker A: It looks normal. It looks like a normal bog standard servant room. As the four of you at the five of you sort of fall in and then sort of get your bearings. [00:58:42] Speaker C: You. [00:58:43] Speaker A: You realize that there's actually two figures already in this room. And as the. And as the. The five of you get up, you realize that these two figures. Like there's one figure that sort of like stands up quite quickly. Another figure that kind of is trying to sort of grab this other figure to sort of see, not to kind of know. Like trying to Pull them down, but almost trying to sort of figure out where they've gone. And this other figure then pulls that person up to their feet. As the, as the five of you are greeted. Well, not greeted, but sort of like in shock to see you, Lady Ronzanissa, who is standing with a stranger that you've never met before, who's, who's wearing sort of bloody bandages round his face, blood running down his, like down his face, and there's blood that covers his tunic and his hands. And like, Lady, Lady Rondinisa looks at the, the lot of you and she's just like, oh, my goodness, where did you come from? How did you get in here? [01:00:06] Speaker F: Well, we ran through the corridor of Fingers. [01:00:12] Speaker A: The Corridor of Fingers? [01:00:13] Speaker B: What? [01:00:13] Speaker A: I, what are you talking about? [01:00:15] Speaker C: The, the palace is not a safe place to be at the moment. Lady Randanisa. [01:00:20] Speaker B: No. [01:00:21] Speaker C: Who, who is this? Are you all right? [01:00:25] Speaker A: I, I didn't do anything. I, I, I heard, I heard screaming and I found him in a room tied to a chair with his, with it. With his eyes gouged out. He won't, he won't tell me anything. He's, he. I just knew that I had to help him. He's, he, he's, he's keeping very quiet, but I don't know. He, I don't know if he's mute or if he's, or if he just refuses to talk to me. [01:00:49] Speaker F: You found him in the palace? [01:00:51] Speaker A: Yes, I found him tied. I've, I've, I, I've never seen anything like this before. I don't know what's happening. [01:01:00] Speaker E: What's the chances that Pally and I might get a vibe? [01:01:12] Speaker F: Looks like a pony that you once used to. [01:01:14] Speaker D: Yeah, we did have a. There was a blind pony with like. [01:01:18] Speaker A: I mean, roll me, roll me. I mean, you saw, you saw a pony with gems in his eyes. Scars. Roll me a. Have a think. [01:01:34] Speaker B: If you squint and you look at him, you try and kind of put his face into a cartoon. Yeah. [01:01:39] Speaker A: I mean, roll me an instinct. Checked Myrden and Pally, if you want to do that for me to see if you, if you get any sort of recognition of this person standing in front of you. [01:01:53] Speaker E: I get a vantage and that's a [01:02:01] Speaker A: 16. [01:02:02] Speaker E: 16 with fear. [01:02:03] Speaker D: They got a 20 with hope. [01:02:07] Speaker A: 20 with hope. Pally, there's, there's definitely something that you're feeling that I think Murden's too distracted by his bell shoes still. And also being super bowed by the whole situation that's happening. But Pally, you, you can't help but feel like there is some sort of. That you. That you know this person, that you've met this person, this. This ace of our man before. [01:02:43] Speaker D: Can I tie in the pony dream? [01:02:48] Speaker A: There is always almost something in you that kind of goes like. No, that's. That's ridiculous. Like, why? Like, what is happen? Like there's something that's kind of stopping you from doing it. You can. You are more than welcome to try and talk to him. [01:03:08] Speaker D: Hey. I don't know how, but I feel like we may have met, my friend. Again, not sure how, but I feel like we may have. I'm Pally and these are my companions. So whatever's happened to you looks very painful. The. [01:03:38] Speaker A: The ace of our man. He. He cocks sort of like his head as he. As he listens to you and is hesitant at first to respond, but then with sort of like a quivering voice, he says, I have. I've not had the best day. No. Above table. [01:04:12] Speaker D: Just to check. Have we still got the scepter that Alavar had? [01:04:17] Speaker A: I guess Lucretia. [01:04:18] Speaker C: I guess we have. [01:04:19] Speaker A: Yeah. Lucretia has it. [01:04:21] Speaker C: Jeez. Cool. [01:04:22] Speaker D: Just. Just wanted to. Yeah. [01:04:24] Speaker B: Just. [01:04:24] Speaker C: Yeah, I, [01:04:27] Speaker B: I have a. I have a couple of healing spells. [01:04:29] Speaker D: Yeah. But Virgil, could you maybe help? I, I, I have a little bit. But you're a much stronger healer than I am. [01:04:38] Speaker C: Absolutely. [01:04:39] Speaker B: I see what I can do. Possibly. Not like this, though. [01:04:44] Speaker D: Yeah, maybe. Unfortunately, it might be time to dehorsify for a bit. [01:04:51] Speaker B: It was a bad one. I tried. [01:04:53] Speaker A: Yeah, there is. You can hear sort of. You can hear Lady Rondanisa in the background going, why are you a horse? Why are you a bear? Like, what is happening? [01:05:04] Speaker B: I think we've all had quite a day. And he'll turn back into. Let me just. I might have to focus a little. I've never actually turned back from it. [01:05:16] Speaker A: Well, I have once, but you're gonna have to animorph. [01:05:23] Speaker B: It's a beautiful illustration. [01:05:29] Speaker F: You still wearing the hat, though? [01:05:30] Speaker B: Yeah, I still wear the hat. [01:05:33] Speaker A: Now I'm gonna have to make a new drawing now. [01:05:45] Speaker B: And he will cast regeneration. [01:05:51] Speaker A: Regeneration. [01:05:51] Speaker B: At the same time, he might cast Clarity of Nature as well. Just because he's got it. [01:05:58] Speaker C: Just because he's got it. [01:05:59] Speaker B: He's got it. And I think this is the only time he's going to be able to use it. And I think murder needs it. [01:06:04] Speaker C: What does it. What do those two cards do? [01:06:07] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:06:07] Speaker B: So regeneration is. It's like a cantrip. I don't know what the equivalent of Cantrip is here. It's just a spell and it's spend three hope touch a creature and that creature clears 1D four hit points. [01:06:23] Speaker D: Okay. [01:06:25] Speaker B: And then clarity of nature once per long rest you can create a space of natural serenity within close range where you spend a few minutes resting within space clear stress equal to your instinct distributed as you choose between and your Elysia I have one instinct so that [01:06:42] Speaker C: one stress is going to. So who's getting that? [01:06:49] Speaker B: Madam. [01:06:50] Speaker E: Thank you. [01:06:51] Speaker B: She's likely to be stressed again. [01:06:53] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:06:55] Speaker E: I appreciate this. Thank you. [01:06:57] Speaker A: As. As. How does. How does this look, this what you're doing to. To this ace of our man. [01:07:04] Speaker B: I imagine he. He approaches him gently and sort of put. Puts a hand carefully on his. His face and casts this spell. And at the same time as he casts it, this kind of green light goes down and then across this room and where it can if it's able much in the same way that the healing spells he's used in sort of nature tries to come through, tries to grow up grass tries to grow up through this illusion of this castle and up and around everyone. [01:07:37] Speaker A: So does anyone else get any hit points back or is it just to the one person? [01:07:42] Speaker B: It's clarity of nature is the one. [01:07:44] Speaker A: The one stress. I mean that's very. That's very kind of you to give it to this one stranger every generation [01:07:51] Speaker B: I can use whenever I just need. [01:07:52] Speaker A: Ah, fair enough, fair enough. [01:07:55] Speaker D: And I quite, very quickly. But in all that's happening can I pat me and seeing that he is stressed and you spare in touch you so remove too stress. I'm saving the other one for myself because I have only two just giving me shoulder ups. Yeah, I guess [01:08:20] Speaker A: they're there pally. As you. As you're. As you cast this spell on maiden and maiden as you feel this sort of stress sort of like sort of wipe away from you feeling a. A comrade of yours, sort of a fellow wolf can sort of like ease that stress for you. The lot of you. Can't help but hear that sort of music box sound louder. As I would like all of you to take one hope. [01:08:52] Speaker C: Oh yeah. [01:08:58] Speaker F: Friendship really is magic. [01:09:04] Speaker A: And Virgil, as this, as these. As these vines, it's a bit difficult. They find it quite difficult to sort of like peer through. But you. But you do get like these vines and these leaves and this grass sort of peer through. They only appear for like a small while until they sort of like go back again as if like something else is trying to sort of like hold on to that magic that you've that you're trying to perform. But this. This ace of our man who you've touched sort of like gasps loudly and he. He reaches his hands up to his. To his face and he doesn't remove the bandages. He just sort of touches them and he. He kind of feels for your hand and he goes, thank you. This is. This has been a very strange day for me and I. I feel like there's probably a lot that I don't know, and I am okay to listen to it another time. From what the young lady has been telling me, that it's probably of a dire urgence that you five. And he's. I believe that it's you five. That's what she told me. That. That you. That you are also from elsewhere. You are not from this, this magical world. Whatever you need to do. He. He sort of pats around himself. He sort of pats around his. His. His body and he pulls out from like a little pouch. He pulls out a couple of minor stamina potions. He says, me, I feel like this might come to bite me again, as I have. Feel like my kindness has not done me any justice today, but if it will get me back to elsewhere and where I need to be. And he hands you these. Just two minor stamina potions. [01:11:50] Speaker B: Thank you very much. If it helps, I've always found kindness pays out in the end. [01:11:59] Speaker D: He. [01:12:01] Speaker A: He sort of chuckles quite solemnly to himself and he says, you would think, wouldn't you? And Lady Rondonisa says, we. We. What would. What would you suggest? Do we do we leave? Do we stay? What do we do? [01:12:24] Speaker B: Well, can you find the way out? [01:12:27] Speaker A: I don't know. [01:12:28] Speaker D: I haven't. [01:12:29] Speaker A: I. I only found this room that seemed to be stable, and then we stayed here while I. I bandaged this man up. [01:12:39] Speaker F: Can we just rewind just a little bit? You're not from here, you're from elsewhere. And you came the same time as usual. Like, how did you get here? I. I'm pointing you, by the way. [01:12:59] Speaker A: I. I kind of guessed you were talking to me. I. I let my. I let my guard down. That's why I am here. [01:13:15] Speaker F: Ah. You know, that doesn't really clarify anything, but okay. [01:13:22] Speaker A: It's much like. I'm pretty sure you have. Mine is also a long story and it feels like that you do not have time for that. [01:13:31] Speaker F: Yes. [01:13:34] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:13:35] Speaker F: Mir's had a hell of a day. [01:13:39] Speaker A: Where is the jingling? I've heard I hear some jingling bells coming from somewhere. Where are those coming from? [01:13:45] Speaker F: Oh, that's our court jester here. You can't see him, but he's a funny guy. He's got a little jiggle. [01:13:52] Speaker E: They are a gift. They are a gift from someone who is not long for this world. [01:14:01] Speaker B: The. [01:14:01] Speaker A: The ace of our sort of lifts up his ear and he goes, oh, yes, now I remember you. The little shit. [01:14:16] Speaker E: Looks up. What did you call me? You. You were the horse in the alley. You were the one that tried to kill. Kill the world spirit. [01:14:39] Speaker A: That's what I was. That's what I was bargained to do to escape this wretched hole. [01:14:52] Speaker E: By who? [01:14:55] Speaker A: By the. By the dragonsent. [01:15:03] Speaker E: White and orange scales. [01:15:07] Speaker A: I wouldn't know. I am. My vision is impaired. [01:15:14] Speaker E: I can. I can see that. Well, me in turns to look to the others. Do we think that was Guardian? [01:15:28] Speaker D: Possibly. [01:15:31] Speaker F: Well, Guardian only just turned into a dragon. He was a dragon. [01:15:41] Speaker E: Storm, [01:15:44] Speaker F: stop talking about me. Is it? [01:15:49] Speaker D: I think you probably remember you. But. [01:15:55] Speaker A: Lucretia, you remember when you looked through the scepter and when you looked at Guardian. [01:16:01] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:16:01] Speaker A: Despite the vision of her being a visible vision of her being a dragon spawn, when you looked through the scepter, you didn't see the shape of a dragon spawn. You saw the sort of shape. [01:16:16] Speaker C: Soul. Yeah. [01:16:18] Speaker A: Immortal dragon sense. [01:16:19] Speaker B: Yes. [01:16:19] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. But I don't know if Lucretia would have put that together that. Where that. That crystal came from, so I doubt she would. Lady Rondanisa, things have gone volatile. People of Sanctuary are being drained of their manor as we speak. Everyone but the gifted children. We. I am afraid that. That we need to speak with the Queen. [01:17:08] Speaker A: Ronda. Nisa sort of takes in a big inhale and she says, I did. I did think that might be something. That was. That lady. That Lady Blessing would be involved with this. With Queen Blessing. Okay. What do you need from me? I can give you as much information as. As I know. [01:17:40] Speaker C: Where can we find. How can we find the princess? And what will. What will lure Blessing Solomani out to speak with us? [01:17:52] Speaker A: Give me. [01:18:05] Speaker D: Actually. [01:18:05] Speaker E: Presents. [01:18:06] Speaker A: Yeah, give me a presents roll. [01:18:07] Speaker C: That's not good. That's not good for me. I can try, though. It's an eight. With hope, though. [01:18:18] Speaker A: Eight. With hope. [01:18:20] Speaker B: It's. [01:18:20] Speaker C: With hope, though. It's. [01:18:22] Speaker E: With hope, though. [01:18:23] Speaker A: It's fine. [01:18:26] Speaker C: Do I get a. [01:18:28] Speaker A: You do get a hope. [01:18:29] Speaker C: Little hope for Krisha. [01:18:31] Speaker D: Yes. [01:18:35] Speaker A: Rhonda Nisa sort of just stands there still holding this ace of our man, and she says, I. I don't know. I've never. I haven't seen. I haven't seen Lady Blessings. Since I was a child. I. I don't. I don't know how you would. I'm sorry. The. The only information that I can give you is that if the princess is anywhere, she'll be. She'll be in the conservatory. But with the. With the castle the way it is now, I'm really sorry. I won't be able to help you in any other way. [01:19:14] Speaker D: Well, in that case, we're hoping to speak to the princess and try to take her out of the castle in hopes of getting her mother's attention. What's the best way of getting the princess to leave? You know her better than all of us. [01:19:40] Speaker A: Give me a presents roll. [01:19:42] Speaker D: Do that. [01:19:44] Speaker B: Big puppy eyes. [01:19:45] Speaker D: And I will put big. Trust me. Experience, Raj. Trust me. [01:19:51] Speaker A: I'm a good boy. It's a crit. [01:19:59] Speaker C: Such a good boy. [01:20:02] Speaker A: Trustworthy with a crit. Yep, that whacks you up three points. Hey, all find the princess clock. [01:20:13] Speaker B: Very good. [01:20:13] Speaker E: Hang on. So as Lucretia asked, and she's like, I'm sorry, I can't help. And pal's gone. [01:20:22] Speaker D: Separate questions. I focus on the princess, you focus on the queen. [01:20:25] Speaker C: Yeah, that's right. [01:20:26] Speaker D: I feel like it's. Okay. Can you remind me, with a crit, do I clear a stress or you. [01:20:34] Speaker A: You gain a hope and clear a stress. [01:20:36] Speaker C: Oh, that's nice. [01:20:40] Speaker A: Nice crit. So, yes, with a crit, rondinisa, sort of. She. She really sort of like racks her brain, feeling actually quite guilty that she wasn't able to give you very much information. And she goes, if, [01:21:00] Speaker D: If, If. [01:21:03] Speaker A: If you. If as long as you say it's a game, as long as you tell her that this is a game, then she will. She'll come out. She just. Just appeal to her childhood side. Like, appeal to the. The little girl. She is, you know, with any child to make something, you want them to do something that's good for them. If you make it a game, then they're more likely to. [01:21:31] Speaker E: To. [01:21:32] Speaker A: To play along. [01:21:35] Speaker D: It's helpful. Thank you very. [01:21:37] Speaker A: She. With a crit, she goes. The music box. The music box. I know that. I know that. The princess always plays the music box whenever she wants to speak to her mother. The music box is probably more what you need to pull to pull lady blessing from wherever she is. [01:22:04] Speaker C: Yes. [01:22:06] Speaker A: But do realize that is. That is the princess's pride and joy. You may have to do some quite convincing to. To get it from her. [01:22:17] Speaker D: Thank you. This is honestly so helpful as she. [01:22:25] Speaker A: Along with a crit, she. She sort of takes a look through one of the doors again. So this, this room still has just one door to it, but she opens it up and she looks out and she kind of goes like. I, I can't tell very clearly, but this looks like this may be leading to the courtyard. If you, if this looks like the courtyard anyway, whatever sort of maze is happening now with this, with this whole place, head out here and if it continues to be the same, if you just continue going, you should be able to find the conservatory. [01:23:05] Speaker D: Thank you. I think. I don't know if anyone else will agree, but maybe it's best if you wait here for now and if you find a way out, do so, but don't take any risks, if unnecessary risks at this time. [01:23:23] Speaker A: She nods and she, she helps the sace of our man sort of back on the bed. He now sort of feeling a little bit more healthier. He, he kind of rears his head up towards the five of you and he says, good luck. [01:23:47] Speaker F: Thank you. [01:23:48] Speaker A: We're all counting on you. So no pressure. Thank you. [01:23:57] Speaker C: I hope your day starts going better, sir. [01:24:01] Speaker A: He, he sort of scoffs and, and it couldn't get any worse, believe me. So the, the five of you heading out. Is there anything else you want to ask with five of you heading out? [01:24:26] Speaker D: I think. [01:24:29] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. [01:24:32] Speaker A: So the five of you head out and it's, it's, it's, it's jarring how from when you entered this room, you're in this large corridor to exiting this room throughout the same door. You are now, you are now in a courtyard, but again, you are back in that sort of opaque galaxy that sort of like, almost just like the, the, the lines of this courtyard are there, but everything is sort of shrouded in this sort of. This, these twinkling dots in this galaxy sort of thing in this courtyard is sort of it, it kind of peers off into sort of like four directions. And in the center of this courtyard is this fountain that does seem to be producing water sort of flowing up and then going down. Give me, give me a instinct reaction roll very quickly, all of us. Yeah. [01:25:38] Speaker E: Is it perception based? [01:25:39] Speaker A: Yes. [01:25:40] Speaker F: Crit. [01:25:41] Speaker A: Another crit. You crit. [01:25:43] Speaker C: He's a crit. [01:25:46] Speaker D: So many dice now. [01:25:47] Speaker A: Now the crits are coming out. I will majority say this. I mean, besides from Virgil, who's still probably enjoying his very nice hat, [01:26:05] Speaker D: this [01:26:05] Speaker A: is all your life needed. [01:26:07] Speaker B: That's what he was missing all this time. [01:26:09] Speaker A: All this time he's just missing a hat. But Lucretia, you can definitely, certainly tell that this fountain in the middle of this. Of this courtyard that. That does seem to be sprouting water. There's sort of like a statue that sort of curls around it. The maiden bow. And, pally, you can see this as well. And it takes you sort of like a moment to sort of figure it out through the. Through the sort of haze of this. These. This light purpley sort of like warp that seems to be happening to this. To this castle. But, Lucretia, you instinctively click straight away that this looks like that little orange dragon that led you into sanctuary. [01:26:53] Speaker C: Oh, I see. Okay. So. So what's it doing? [01:27:02] Speaker A: It is in stone, and it's curled. It's just a stone carving, and it's curled around this sort of like this spout of this fountain. [01:27:11] Speaker C: Interesting. [01:27:13] Speaker D: Could. Could I have some of the water? [01:27:20] Speaker A: Do you want to have a go at some of the water? Yeah, yeah. Give me a. Let's have a little look. Give me. Give me a finesse check. [01:27:35] Speaker F: Okay. [01:27:39] Speaker D: I have no idea if I have experiences for this. I'm just gonna. This is a reaction roll, or [01:27:48] Speaker A: this is a. This is just a normal roll. [01:27:54] Speaker E: Oh, [01:28:00] Speaker A: I'll do that. Pally, drinking this water, it tastes. It tastes just like normal water. But then. But then you see, you kind of stand there and you're going like. Oh, tastes just like normal water. But then you can suddenly feel your feet get heavy as you try to move them, and you can't as you notice that slowly, stone is starting to cover over. Over your limbs as it travels up. Oh, your legs. [01:28:46] Speaker D: Okay, [01:28:48] Speaker F: okay. [01:28:51] Speaker D: Okay. I'm gonna try sparing touch on myself, please. [01:28:57] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:28:58] Speaker D: And it's like, I just want to try and see if I can do something. [01:29:02] Speaker A: Yeah, that's it. Do you have to roll for sparing touch? [01:29:06] Speaker D: I do not. I have two goes, and that's it. And I've already used one on maiden. Right. [01:29:13] Speaker A: I will say that you. You try to cast sparing touch on yourself, but it does not. I will allow you to keep your sparing touch, but I will say that it does not work. [01:29:23] Speaker D: Okay. [01:29:24] Speaker E: Your restoration probably might do it, Pally. [01:29:29] Speaker D: Sorry, what? [01:29:30] Speaker E: After your. Your restoration ability. [01:29:35] Speaker D: Okay. [01:29:36] Speaker E: Spend a token from this carbon touching a creature. [01:29:38] Speaker D: Oh, that's true. Yeah. [01:29:39] Speaker E: To heal a physical ailment. [01:29:41] Speaker D: And I have. My spell cast is 4, so I can try that. Yes, let's do that. I'm gonna. I'm gonna, like. I think I realize the spelling touch doesn't work. And I'll just channel deeper in myself and reach over and, like, touch as. As the stone is continuing. I like Touch my. My knee. So when you spend a token from this card touching creature to clear the vulnerable condition or heal a physical magical ailment, GM may require token more additional tokens depending on the strength of the ailment. [01:30:22] Speaker A: I will request that you spend two tokens if you wish to. [01:30:28] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:30:29] Speaker A: While you're casting this, could you also just do me a normal duality roll? [01:30:36] Speaker D: Sure. [01:30:41] Speaker A: 16 With Hope. As you. As you. As you bend down to try and like to. To stop the. To stop the stone converging all over your body, you sort of bend down and to sort of keep yourself level, you also put your other hand against this fountain to. To hopefully keep yourself. To keep yourself sort of like up. And [01:31:14] Speaker E: you. [01:31:14] Speaker A: You notice that you. You start getting sort of like a slightly a bit worried thinking that this may not work again. The much more you like your healing touch hadn't worked. But then you do suddenly feel the stone start to recede from. Recede from your legs. You can also feel something else come from your other hand as the stone that was underneath your hand suddenly start feeling like something else. Like like scales. As you look up and you see that the small. The small dragon that was curled around this fountain mountain has now started actually coming to life turning orange. And he is orange. And you can guess that he is the same. The same little dragon, the same little dragon spawn that freed you from. From the glade. [01:32:14] Speaker C: He's the little guy. [01:32:15] Speaker A: And he just goes, oh, oh God blimey. [01:32:19] Speaker D: Thank you. [01:32:20] Speaker A: Oh, I stood there for ages. [01:32:22] Speaker D: Oh, oh. [01:32:27] Speaker A: Oh, it's you five. Oh, I. I knew I could trust you. Oh oh, brilliant. And because you got a hope you success. You did a successful hope. You do go up two on the princess. Find the princess. As the dragon spawn sort of looks around and he goes, oh, oh blimey. This isn't looking good. What's next folks? As he. As he looks at the five of you. [01:32:59] Speaker F: Well, surely you know more than us. You live here, don't you? [01:33:06] Speaker A: Yes, I guess. Kind of. But I've. I've. Unfortunately I've been a bit preoccupied. And he points to the fountain and goes like that's fortunately when I let the five of you in, Queen didn't like that. And that's where I was staying. [01:33:28] Speaker F: I mean you brought us here [01:33:31] Speaker A: kind of. I. I kind of like helped you in a way. I stopped you from being sucked dry from the shadows. [01:33:44] Speaker D: We're very delighted now. [01:33:47] Speaker C: Thank you. [01:33:48] Speaker A: I mean it's not. [01:33:49] Speaker F: And you also say save the fold guy with the. [01:33:54] Speaker D: With the horn. [01:33:56] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:33:57] Speaker F: Yeah, that was. You should have saved him. [01:34:02] Speaker A: No, it's. He. He. He came to the. He followed me to the palace and. And he. Yeah, he. He decided straight away that, like, he just wanted to be a nasty piece of work. [01:34:17] Speaker D: Well, [01:34:19] Speaker F: he's gone now, so. [01:34:21] Speaker A: Oh, he's left [01:34:26] Speaker F: this mortal coil. Yes. [01:34:29] Speaker D: Oh, [01:34:32] Speaker A: blimey. [01:34:33] Speaker D: Well. [01:34:36] Speaker A: Well, okay, so what. [01:34:39] Speaker C: What is. [01:34:40] Speaker B: What. [01:34:40] Speaker C: What's your story, little guy? Well, who are you? Sort of stuck out. Just. [01:34:46] Speaker F: How do you know? You shouldn't call people little guys. [01:34:53] Speaker C: Sorry, Po. [01:34:56] Speaker D: Have. [01:34:56] Speaker A: You know, I'm a. I'm. I'm a mighty, mighty Dragonspawn. I know my size doesn't do me justice, but I'm quite powerful. [01:35:06] Speaker C: Yeah, you dealt with the fountain fantastically. [01:35:10] Speaker A: Oh, shush. [01:35:13] Speaker E: I love your shit. [01:35:15] Speaker C: Talking of Angel, I mean, that Lucretia would, though. [01:35:21] Speaker D: Do you mind awfully, we ask your name? [01:35:26] Speaker A: Provrin. [01:35:30] Speaker D: Thank you. [01:35:31] Speaker B: Thank you, Provrin, for helping us back. Back in the day. Back. Then. [01:35:37] Speaker A: You're quite welcome. [01:35:41] Speaker F: So, have you always been, little guy? [01:35:44] Speaker D: Indeed. [01:35:46] Speaker F: Ignore her. [01:35:49] Speaker A: Elysia, I've. I've been here since. Since. Since Sanctuary was made. I. I obviously wasn't too thrilled about what was happening, but I. I came here to just keep an eye on things. I see. And unfortunately, I. I got stuck here. [01:36:14] Speaker C: So you. You sort of hitched a lift or. [01:36:18] Speaker A: Well, no, I used to. I used to be. You know, I. I used to help out with in the Soleimani household, and when all that palaver with the. With the. The. The sundering and all that happened, then that's how I ended up here. After Lady Blessing made that deal with the. With the. With the big creature, and I sort of. I joined. I joined along to make sure that they were all safe. And unfortunately, now I've knew. I've also myself not been able to. To leave. [01:36:56] Speaker C: What do you make of what Lady Blessing is doing here, Provrin? [01:37:03] Speaker A: Well, I can't say that I totally agree with it. I understand. No, I understood at the beginning when she just wanted to give Lady Rejoice the. The a little bit more structure in her life and a little bit more joy. Especially with all the. With all the upheaval that was happening in elsewhere, but now that. Now that she's obviously gone quite mad with the. With the power that she has, she just won't listen to reason. [01:37:33] Speaker D: No. [01:37:34] Speaker A: To anyone. She. She sees herself unto a God herself. [01:37:40] Speaker C: Well, this is what we're afraid of. And we. We would very much like to find the princess and convince her to call her mother. So that we might attempt to reason with her or at least come to some kind of resolution of this problem. [01:37:58] Speaker A: He nods and he says, follow me. I can. I. I know the palace. It's obviously not the structure that I weigh, but I will recognize areas and I should be able to guide you. And so with that extra two that you got from Pali's role that he [01:38:15] Speaker C: did, [01:38:18] Speaker A: Provrin is now available to guide you through to the rest of the. Of the. The room. So he guides you through pretty much where. Where Lady Rondanisa taught you where to go. She said, just continue forward. And he sort of directs you in that same direction as well. He guides you through a. He guides you through to another open room. And you can definitely tell that this is more of a. Of a playroom. There are toy boxes and lots of toys scattered. There's little things to climb on. There's sort of like makeshift sort of blanket forts. And scattered all over the floor are drawings just like children's drawings of different people, different creatures, all sorts of drawings all along there. And while the. The five of you, along with Proverin and I've forgotten to say Brother Talons is with you as well, he's wearing the hat now. He. He province sort of goes, okay, let me just scan this room very quickly. This is not usually where the playroom is. [01:39:41] Speaker D: I'll. [01:39:42] Speaker A: I'll scan through. And he sort of scans around while everyone. [01:39:51] Speaker C: I just have this idea. He's got a little like [01:39:56] Speaker A: that. He's scanning around everyone give me. [01:40:01] Speaker C: Oh, dear. [01:40:05] Speaker A: Everyone again. Give me an instant instinct role. And it is to percept again. [01:40:10] Speaker B: Is that a reaction or a duality? [01:40:13] Speaker A: A reaction. Please [01:40:17] Speaker E: percepticate. [01:40:19] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. [01:40:21] Speaker A: Come in. [01:40:21] Speaker C: So many times. [01:40:23] Speaker A: Lucretia got another crit. [01:40:24] Speaker C: Got a crit, baby. Two. Two. It's astounding. [01:40:30] Speaker A: So, yeah, I mean, with. I mean, with all of your roles and especially with Lucretia's critical. [01:40:37] Speaker D: You. [01:40:37] Speaker A: You lot are just sort of like, obviously kind of looking around this room as well to notice what could be. Where could the next exit be? Where could you get what? What could you watch him province. Sort of look around and. And sort of see. Trying to get his bearings. It isn't until, Lucretia, you suddenly start feeling a little tugging on your robes. As you feel this tugging on your robes, you then notice. One of the drawings has kind of come out of the picture. [01:41:19] Speaker C: No. [01:41:20] Speaker A: And is sort of tugging. It's not just a finger at your robes. [01:41:27] Speaker C: What is it? [01:41:29] Speaker A: It's just a little. It's just A little drawing. [01:41:32] Speaker C: Oh, that's so cute. Just. It's a little green guy with lots of legs and black eyes. That's really sweet. Is it like a child's drawing? [01:41:42] Speaker A: It's like a child's drawing. [01:41:44] Speaker C: And it's just tugging. I say, oh, hello. [01:41:48] Speaker A: It's tugging at your. At your robes. And then it suddenly starts bringing up another leg as it sorts. Starts to sort of like crawl. Crawl. Starts crawling up your robe. As you notice, then another one is also tugging at your robes as it starts to also then sort of crawl up. [01:42:08] Speaker C: Bo. Bo, can you help somebody? [01:42:16] Speaker F: I didn't think you would have any. Showing them little guys. They're just little guys. [01:42:21] Speaker C: aesivar, very droll, Bo. And shoo. Shoo. And she starts trying to shake them off her robes. [01:42:28] Speaker F: Can I suffocate one? [01:42:31] Speaker C: What now? [01:42:31] Speaker A: Suffocate one. [01:42:33] Speaker F: Because I suffocate it. Because I pick it. [01:42:35] Speaker B: Oh. [01:42:35] Speaker C: Oh. I thought you said suffocate. I thought you wanted to watch the light go out in its eyes. [01:42:39] Speaker D: Yes. [01:42:40] Speaker B: Give me. [01:42:41] Speaker C: It's been a long day for. [01:42:42] Speaker D: So give me. [01:42:46] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, give me. Give me a strength roll. [01:42:50] Speaker C: Oh, wait. Sorry, me. [01:42:53] Speaker A: Bo, if you want to kick one. [01:42:57] Speaker C: Oh, 10. 10. A hopeful 10. [01:43:02] Speaker A: A hopeful 10 with a hopeful 10. Yeah. Bo, you. You can you try and get your foot into it? But it's really grabbed hold of Lucretia's robes. But as you. As your foot connects into this piece of like, this piece of like, paper that's kind of. You can't help but then notice this absol. Guttural scream of a child emanates from this piece of paper. Oh, no. And I would like you to mark a stress for me as this scream. Just like the. You know, when children really throw a tantrum in like a super. In like a shopping store or something like that. Like, that is what you hear come out of this piece of paper. [01:43:46] Speaker C: Now, Beau, look what you did. And all of a sudden, she's going down. It's okay, darlings. It's okay. And she starts sort of ushering them up, but I think she sort of wants to see if she can kind of get them on her hand almost. She sort of tries to usher the little drawings into her hand. [01:44:06] Speaker A: Roll me a presence check. [01:44:09] Speaker C: Presence. Eh, Can I. Before you do that, I have one help. Well, I would love some help. And I would like to add my experience, which is wonders in the strange. Because this is so strange. Lucretia has a special interest in weird stuff and spooky stuff. So I would like To. [01:44:30] Speaker D: I think I can spend a hope to give you advantage as well. [01:44:33] Speaker A: Ooh, yes. I can spend a hope if you want to give it a. [01:44:36] Speaker C: Increase your advantage. Okay, I'm gonna double my modifier, so it's gonna be a plus four instead of a plus two. Because I'm gonna spend the stress. I'm gonna have advantage. All right. [01:44:46] Speaker F: Okay. [01:44:48] Speaker C: It is a. What the hell just happened? It was an eight with fear. Wait, hold up a minute. Hold up. I'm fearless, so I could mark two stress to change my fear to hope. Oh, do I really want that many stress in my life right now? I've already got some stress in my life. Wait a minute. [01:45:15] Speaker F: Wait a minute. [01:45:16] Speaker C: Where did all that. [01:45:17] Speaker B: No, no, no. [01:45:18] Speaker C: I don't have any stress, so I'm using one. Okay, I'm going up to three stress, and that means it's an eight with hope. [01:45:26] Speaker A: An eight with hope. Okay, so take that hope. But with. But with an H. You're trying to sort of. You're trying to sort of beckon up these. These little. These little pieces of paper, but nothing. They obviously, they just don't understand you. They're sort of just climbing. They're climbing around you. You then just start noticing. You then start noticing there's another one, and it starts going underneath your robes. [01:45:54] Speaker C: No, I'm not in there. Oh, dear. [01:45:57] Speaker A: And. And, Pally, as you were just trying to help Lucretia, you also now notice there's another little drawing trying to sort of grab hold of your. [01:46:06] Speaker C: Okay. [01:46:07] Speaker A: Rogues as well. [01:46:08] Speaker C: I'm beginning to think they're not friendly after all. Okay. [01:46:12] Speaker F: Want me to kick him again? [01:46:14] Speaker C: Sure. [01:46:16] Speaker F: I think. [01:46:17] Speaker D: I think Patty's just gonna stay very still, very calm, and try and join in. I think he's trying to. [01:46:24] Speaker C: Maybe we could play with them or something, or. [01:46:26] Speaker D: I'm going to try and play. [01:46:29] Speaker C: Yes, [01:46:35] Speaker D: Well, I'm going to try and play with the drawing. [01:46:37] Speaker C: Yeah. Okay, let's see how that goes first. [01:46:40] Speaker A: Okay, Pally, roll me a presents roll. [01:46:45] Speaker D: And I'm going to put trust me, because I want this drawing to me. [01:46:48] Speaker C: Trust. [01:46:48] Speaker F: Trust me. [01:46:50] Speaker D: Why not? I'll see if that works. [01:46:53] Speaker C: It was actually a ten with hope, by the way, if that helps. [01:46:56] Speaker D: That's so annoying. [01:46:57] Speaker C: I think of it. [01:46:59] Speaker D: That is so bad. [01:47:01] Speaker C: Oh, we. [01:47:02] Speaker D: Oh, why are we rolling so badly now? [01:47:05] Speaker A: I mean, with a 10. With fear. A 10 with fear. These. This. You try to sort of, like, stand still and this. And this creature sort of, like, tries to sort of get. But you can't still avoid the fact that these are still made of paper, and it kind of. It kind of slivers up to your. To your shoulder and it sort of stands in your shoulder and it kind of tries to whisper something in your ear. But the. The whispering is almost like just an. A number of children's voices that sort of echo and it's almost like desperation, like children just sort of like clawing and. And asking for help. Could you mark me of stress for hearing these many voices trying to seep in through your mind? [01:48:08] Speaker C: We've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty. [01:48:22] Speaker F: Is there any paper and drawing equipments on the floor that I can see? [01:48:27] Speaker A: There are indeed. [01:48:33] Speaker F: Bo would like to draw his own little picture. So he would like to draw a picture of maybe a little. He can draw a picture of Rusty. [01:48:45] Speaker A: Oh, that's nice with that, then. Make me. I guess it would be a presence as well. See how charming this picture comes out? What is that? [01:49:01] Speaker D: We are doing so well. We were doing so well and. Yeah, we're just rolling. [01:49:09] Speaker C: Oh, my goodness. [01:49:11] Speaker A: With a 13 with fear. Yeah. Beau, you've drawn this picture of Rusty. It doesn't look great. It looks like a sausage with sticks in it. And you, what, are you showing this to the kids? Are you showing this to the drawings? They look at this, and I'm going to gain myself not just one fear from your fear, but also another fear from my little hidden clock, as it's [01:49:49] Speaker B: now accounting for taste [01:49:52] Speaker A: as the kids all look at this and they give out again that sort of like massive, like, screech of just like dozens of children just in pain, just screaming and screaming. Oh, no. I need the lot of you to take a stress from hearing this sort of guttural, raw. [01:50:15] Speaker B: What if I turn into another green horse? What's that? [01:50:20] Speaker A: And Beau, I don't have. Obviously I don't have this drawing, but this horse then suddenly comes out of the picture as well and also starts [01:50:29] Speaker C: screaming, oh, my God, what have we done? [01:50:34] Speaker A: But like a child. [01:50:35] Speaker C: What have we done? [01:50:39] Speaker D: What are we. [01:50:40] Speaker C: What are we gonna do? We're so crap at this. Oh, my God. It's like a. It's like a turtle. [01:50:52] Speaker A: I mean, that's probably. That's probably what they wrote you. You know that if there's nothing that you're going to. To quell these screams that you may very well actually go mad. [01:51:02] Speaker C: Just go mad. [01:51:03] Speaker A: That is happening. [01:51:04] Speaker C: Oh, my goodness. [01:51:05] Speaker F: Wow. [01:51:07] Speaker C: Do we just make them laugh? [01:51:11] Speaker F: Do it. Do a dance. [01:51:13] Speaker B: Desperately. I think Virgil, who's never really been good with kids. Who has kids in a monastery? Nobody. He will desperately turn back into a green horse. [01:51:29] Speaker A: Okay. [01:51:30] Speaker C: Caper about. [01:51:31] Speaker F: Yeah. [01:51:35] Speaker B: Murder. No. Fellow, would you like to do a little dance with me? [01:51:42] Speaker D: If you're a little. [01:51:47] Speaker E: Just watching your death by paper cuts. Just like they're screaming. And like the screams just made him grumble. Mirden, Miden's going to huff rear up [01:52:07] Speaker A: on his back legs [01:52:11] Speaker D: and with his [01:52:11] Speaker E: little jingle boots, I'm gonna start doing a proper disco dad dance or dad disco dance because. [01:52:26] Speaker A: Because you've described that so wonderfully. I will allow both of you to do a tag team. [01:52:32] Speaker F: And you. [01:52:33] Speaker A: And you won't have to spend the hope for it. [01:52:36] Speaker C: Oh, that's so nice. [01:52:39] Speaker B: So what. What do we need to do? [01:52:41] Speaker A: Just both of you roll and you take the highest. [01:52:43] Speaker C: What. What. What role is this? [01:52:46] Speaker A: It will be a presence roll present. [01:52:49] Speaker B: Which I am minus one. [01:52:51] Speaker F: Who. [01:52:52] Speaker A: Minus one. [01:52:58] Speaker E: Is it worth it? I mean, I. Okay. I'm trying to help kind of [01:53:08] Speaker C: bring [01:53:09] Speaker E: these naughty bits of paper to heal. Right? Like I'm trying to conclude. Help control them, arguably like a shepherd of the flock. [01:53:20] Speaker A: Yeah, I will allow that. [01:53:22] Speaker E: So I'll use that. I'll use that experience. [01:53:25] Speaker B: You're probably gonna do better than me. [01:53:33] Speaker A: Which one would you like to take? [01:53:40] Speaker E: I think the 15 with fear would be a really good one today. [01:53:43] Speaker A: 15 with fear. [01:53:43] Speaker B: Okay. [01:53:44] Speaker E: So I've also acknowledged we have tanked up Nate's fear bar. [01:53:49] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. [01:53:52] Speaker A: A 15 with fear. You maiden, you tried to do your best dad dancing, but obviously with your tiny petite feet that are now squished into these. Into these cowboy boots makes it very difficult to dance, but you somehow get it. And you. You're able to sort of like join like porter hoof with Virgil and you do like a little pirouette. [01:54:23] Speaker B: You. [01:54:23] Speaker A: You spin him around. And the. The paper. The paper drawings sort of just all like just turn to look at you. And it seems like they've stopped screaming. They're still latched on to Pali and Lucretia and Bo, but it seems like they are no longer screaming anymore as you're able to tick up the find the princess clock. As these now pieces of paper, though drawings of children are now fully looking at the two of you. [01:54:59] Speaker B: Can I get brother talons involved? [01:55:01] Speaker A: Sure. Can you get brother talons to do. What would you like him to do? [01:55:07] Speaker B: I'd like him to. I'm going to put my hat on him. I can't put my hat in because I've got hooves. He will stand. [01:55:16] Speaker A: The hat was already wearing It. [01:55:17] Speaker B: Yeah, he's wearing the hat. He will. He will stand on Madden's head and he. [01:55:35] Speaker A: I think you might need to do a presence role for Brother Talons. [01:55:38] Speaker B: Yes. [01:55:39] Speaker C: Oh, The wazoo. Yeah. So present. [01:55:47] Speaker B: He's got my. [01:55:49] Speaker E: But he uses your stats. [01:55:51] Speaker B: Yeah, he uses my stats, isn't he? It's a pain cuz I have little. [01:55:58] Speaker D: Can. [01:55:59] Speaker F: Can I give advantage or advantage? [01:56:02] Speaker C: Okay. [01:56:03] Speaker F: I've got loads of hope. I don't mind Tag team with [01:56:07] Speaker D: Go. [01:56:08] Speaker A: How will you tag team with Brother Talons? Are you going to sing the Macare [01:56:13] Speaker F: Cats so we can both simultaneously do the Baccharine together? Okay. [01:56:23] Speaker C: Will. [01:56:24] Speaker A: Okay then. Will both. Virgil, on behalf of Brother Talons and Bo, will you both give me presents Roll. [01:56:31] Speaker F: Thank Elysia, if I crit. Oh, I got to get any better than a critical. [01:56:43] Speaker C: Don't get no better than that. Oh, so nearly a crit. So nearly a crit. [01:56:48] Speaker F: But also it's gonna be the best. [01:56:55] Speaker A: So with that crit, Brother Talons is stood on the top of Maiden Bo. You. You sort of like knock. You're able to knock this little horse drawing that you've done off yourself and you're able to sort of jump, do a backflip and land on horse Virgil's head as you and Brother Talons do a flawless Macarena. [01:57:20] Speaker E: The. [01:57:21] Speaker A: The drawings. The drawings are absolutely enraptured by this as they. As they sort of as you can hear that giggling again of children as it. As it flutters all the way around the room. These pieces of paper now sort of like fluttering all the way around the room, sort of covering the room as it were as it leads to clear the way for a glass door. And Province sort of looks down and he's just like. I don't know what you did, but this was. Good job. [01:57:58] Speaker D: Good job. [01:57:59] Speaker A: Well done. I hope it wasn't too. Too tough. As you can see this glass door that's just appeared in front of you as these papers sort of floated around with you. But you notice now that this glass door has opened. Large glass panel doors have opened and they lead into this conservatory where you see that you finally ticked up the clock and you have found Princess. Rejoice. [01:58:28] Speaker C: Hey. [01:58:29] Speaker B: Hey. What I'm gang. [01:58:30] Speaker C: Here she is. [01:58:31] Speaker D: I am very quickly just going to touch my chest with relief and clear too stress with sparing touch, please. Sure. [01:58:44] Speaker A: The. [01:58:47] Speaker F: The. [01:58:47] Speaker A: The group of you obviously now with Provin sort of standing there with you as well appear into this large conservatory with. With sort of like hanging flowers and plants that cover all the way around the side as a. As a small. As a small sort of like mirrored table sits in the middle where. Where the Princess is sitting. And she is holding that same music box that she had shown you before and that you know from Lady Rondanisa. That is probably what can summon Lady Blessing, the Queen of Sanctuary. [01:59:38] Speaker C: She. [01:59:40] Speaker A: She looks at you and she. She doesn't sort of say anything. She kind of looks quite vacant, as if she was waiting for you. She opens up the music box and you can hear that same sort of tinkling musical melody that you, Lucretia, know as a sort of nursery rhyme that you remember before the war. The walls start to disappear and the Princess also sort of disappears with this mirage of these walls. And this galaxy world now sort of becomes your whole focus. The. The paper drawings have now fluttered away and dissipated into the sky. The five of you, brother talons, you look around. Provin is gone. The six of you are floating there in this sort of sky. As you hear a voice beckon to you. As she was like. You wanted to see me? [02:01:12] Speaker C: Yes. Hello. [02:01:15] Speaker A: Quiet. You have caused me enough trouble. I will give you one last chance. You can join me in my court and you can join us in Sanctuary. Or be prepared to give yourselves to this world so we can continue to flourish. [02:01:57] Speaker E: One last chance. [02:01:59] Speaker A: One last chance. [02:02:05] Speaker E: Curious. We were going to offer you the same. [02:02:11] Speaker A: You hear a bellowing laughter as a figure starts to appear before your vision. This sort of visage of a woman. As she said, you were going to offer me a chance. [02:02:40] Speaker E: Wow. Mother. [02:02:45] Speaker F: It's my mummy. [02:02:50] Speaker A: I don't think you're in the position to be offering me anything. Let us end this now and we will return back in Part two as you now face Lady Blessing, the Queen of Sanctuary. [02:03:11] Speaker B: Next Male's potion. [02:03:13] Speaker D: Well, [02:03:16] Speaker C: might be a good time. [02:03:21] Speaker A: If you. If you want to find out what happens in Part two. I understand that Part one was quite long, but Part two might be longer. We don't know. But if you did enjoy that and you want to find out what happens in part two, if you're watching this on regular YouTube, if you become a member, you can probably watch Part Part two right now because episodes are released a week earlier for our members. If you don't. If you don't have the money, absolutely fine. It will be released next Thursday at 7:30 UK time. A little bit of a quick rundown before we finish off this episode because I do understand it's been very, very long. If you enjoyed this episode, please give it a like. Please give us a subscribe. We really appreciate it and it helps us sort of like get into the algorithm and get some other eyes on us as well. If you enjoy other TTRPGs, we have played more Dagger Heart. We've played we're playing Fabula Altera at the moment, which is on Mondays and that's live streamed both on YouTube and on Twitch. If that's more of your platform, give us a follow on Twitch as well. That would be really cool. You can also join as a patron if YouTube membership isn't your thing. We also have a Patreon as well where episodes of Sanctuary get released on week early and there will be also other things and bits and pieces as we carry on after this. If you're enjoying Dagger Heart, why not buy it from from Drivethru rpg? We have an affiliate link in the description and you can buy it there. It doesn't cost you any extra, but it gives us a little bit of a kickback which is always really helpful for the channel. And also in that description you can find the link to our Discord which is absolutely free to join if you want to have a natter with us as well. Thank you U5 for playing. Thank you for watching. We will see you next time for the finale of Sanctuary. Bye for now. [02:05:04] Speaker F: Bye bye. [02:05:24] Speaker C: Oh she's so big. [02:05:27] Speaker F: Big mummy.
