[00:00:31] Speaker A: Amazing. Yeah. I'm excited for tonight. This is the third live stream. This is the third live stream of the current tale tale 4 Dragon Wrath. We have. It's been a bit of an adventure, a bit of a journey already for. For you all you. [00:00:53] Speaker D: Smooth sailing. [00:00:54] Speaker A: Smooth sailing indeed. Yeah. You have. You've been summons by an archmagister elect within the capital city of Avonmoor to perform a. To accompany him on a mission to the the blast the volcanic wastelands of Merithysos. You dutifully followed and you fought some. Fought some dragon spawn and then you found a temple to one of the betrayer gods, Naravid the Doomsayer. You did a little spelunking both through the temple and through time. It would seem you were thrust into an arcane manifestation of a. Of a mana memory, memory manner, something like that. You that some choices were made in the past and now you have emerged. You managed to kind of break free of the memory, return to the present. And wouldn't you know it, the wizard was a bad unknown. The wizard would turn out to be a baddie. But he has absconded with the magical artifact that he seemed very interested in and he has left you stranded in a temple that appears to be parallel like precariously positioned over a Lavre Caldera and everything is shaken. So with that said, are there any other. There are. There is a. There is a shout out. There is a little shout I want to do before we go into the intro because one of us, it might not be me, is doing a live stream on Saturday actually. Quite, quite. Yeah, quite a few of us are actually part of the live stream. So Nate, why. Why don't you tell us why we should tune back in on Saturday? [00:02:50] Speaker E: Yeah. So on YouTube still from. So if people don't know, me and my partner Chris, we run a comic festival called Pride Comic Art Festival. We're not doing it this year but we've decided to. To raise a bit of money for charity. We're going to do a 12 hour live stream and it's going to be about comics and queerness and all sorts. But we've also got DM Dan and like a couple of others who you may recog coming on and playing around of thirsty sword lesbians, which I'm really looking forward to, which should be really fun. Theo and George will also be joining me for some drawing Doctor who monsters. And people may turn up again throughout the day. So yeah, go on to Pridecaf Caf on Instagram and on Blue Sky. [00:04:10] Speaker A: All across the unknown world, rediscovery pushes ever onwards to find the lands and people lost. All thanks to our brave explorers. [00:04:25] Speaker F: Hi, I'm Dan and I'm playing Vanya, the Wolfkin warrior. [00:04:29] Speaker D: Hey, I'm Livy. I'm going to be playing Ray Ree, the Sprite Ranger. [00:04:33] Speaker B: Hi, my name's Theo and I'm playing Kel a Sang of our Guardian. [00:04:36] Speaker D: I'm Georgia and I will be playing. [00:04:38] Speaker C: Elfric Stormhall, a dragon scent bard. [00:04:41] Speaker E: Hi, I'm Nate and I'm playing Azakar on the Jani Seraph. [00:04:46] Speaker A: And my name is DM Dan, the gm. In these adventures, the further we go, the more we learn of these magical tales from elsewhere. Okie dokie. And so we find the five of you in a suspiciously quiet. But not for long is it in you. We find you in the ruined temple of the Dooms of the Dragon known as the Doomsayer Naravid. A temple built into the face of a what? A mountain of the Marathosi Merathisosi like mountain range, having recently been kind of re transported here through arcane means, thanks to whatever kind of arcane contraption the wizard Gannis was using. The. The smell of the sulfurous kind of. Well, the sulfurous stench coming from the magma below mixes with that kind of sharp, acrid, kind of zingy taste in the almost ozone as the Moats of Ganis's teleportation spell. Big, sort of like disperse through the air around you, but somewhat worryingly, the whole temple appears to be shaking and it is growing more and more violent by the moment. Cow you are. Well, the five of you are in the middle of the room. Stood on the kind of broken and ruined mechanics of the what. What you now know was once a large kind of arcane astrolabe that plotted the. The celestial movements of the. The, the, this. Well, the celestial bodies of the elsewhere setting. And now that you've returned Cal, you have just kind of leapt forward to grab Alfric who's rematerialized not entirely on solid ground, but as you've caught the dragon scent, pulled him towards you. Azakar and Vanier, you've note you've, you know, you're looking off to the northeast to the spot that Ganis. Where Ganis once was. Let's do a little check in flash in the pan. What's as a car's reaction and temperament in this exact moment. [00:07:33] Speaker C: What's. [00:07:33] Speaker A: What's he feeling? [00:07:35] Speaker E: He is fuming. Absolutely fuming. [00:07:38] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah, absolutely fuming. Rayri, how. Where's Ray's head at as this. Like how does the concept of being in a potentially active volcano make you feel right now? [00:07:55] Speaker D: Oh yeah, it's bit. Bit scary. But you know, we did a good job. We got out, we changed turn back time and now we're back. So everything was great. [00:08:06] Speaker C: Everything was great. [00:08:07] Speaker D: We did exactly what we planned. So I think we just like oh, here we go again. [00:08:13] Speaker A: How having just been caught and pulled to safety. Well, pulled from the grips of a very toasty bath. How's Alfric feeling? [00:08:23] Speaker C: Oh, just blind panic. Just panic from the word go. Panic all the way through that crazy dream sequence and now more panic on top of that. He's having a wonderful time. [00:08:32] Speaker A: Okay, Cal. Where's Cal's head at? [00:08:36] Speaker B: He's in a similar place to Azakama. His. He is absolutely furious and just still processing fury. Like him reaching for Alfred was like a kind of automatic motion. Didn't even think about it because all his brain is just burring with emotions. He's so angry. [00:09:00] Speaker A: Okay. Because certainly without a. The wizard was your trip, your ticket home. So you. Yeah. As you realize you're stranded. Vanyer. Lastly, what's going through Vanier's head? [00:09:15] Speaker F: First of all, the very first thing that happens is he just punches the ground because just let out that initial like frustration of fury of being betrayed and seeing this unfold. But after unleashing that frustration, his animal instincts kick in and it's like we're stranded, we need to go, we need to find somewhere safe. And he's Smelling like the ozone smells. And he's smelling the lava and the bubbling and he's hearing these sounds. He's like, we need to go. We need to go now. [00:09:53] Speaker A: Well, as you like, as you're crouched down with your fists still sort of like flat with the, with the ground, like as you, as your head whips up to look to sort of like where the escape is and like from what you've gathered, the only route of escape is immediately behind you from basically the way you came. You hear like a deep rumbling, but you feel, you hear a deep rumbling, but more importantly, you feel it under your knuckles. And as you glance down, you realize that the ground beneath you is beginning to crack. And there's not really a moment to wager whether it was you punching it or not before the foundations under your feet crumble and give way and drop. The, the four, the five of you, or six of you, including Vinnie, Vinnie the Hound, drop you some 30, 40ft directly down. And as you land, like, do you feel, the first things you feel are the searing heat of what you imagine is proximity to magma. And like Alfric, as you sort of like roll over and put a hand down, you like your hand, the palm of your hand, your soft, your soft violin playing hand is singed by the sheer heat of what appears to be a magma crust that you have landed on. And as the five of you stand up and peer around, you find yourself in what appears to be a small magma well, a relatively large magma pocket. Looking up you can see that like at the edges of the, this small cavern, this magma kind of, well, the walls slope back up to the. To encompass the hole in what is effectively the ceiling where the, where the temple was. But as you look around, who's got a presence of at least plus one? [00:12:29] Speaker D: Me. [00:12:30] Speaker B: Yep. [00:12:31] Speaker A: Okay, sorry, not presence, I meant instinct. [00:12:37] Speaker D: I'm a charming, charming one that helps in this point of view. But now I've also got a plus two instinct. [00:12:44] Speaker A: Okay. [00:12:44] Speaker F: Yep. [00:12:47] Speaker A: So in which case, yeah, Cal. Well, Cal and Alfric, as you kind of help each other up, Azakar, Vanier and Rayri, like you pick yourselves up and wonder how you're going to get out of this situation when you feel another, curiously, another rumbling underfoot. And I'd like everyone to make me a, a agility reaction roll. [00:13:30] Speaker B: Just double checking. [00:13:32] Speaker D: I was. Mine was a crit. [00:13:44] Speaker A: Okay, so we've got 23, a 13, an 18, a 17 and a 21 one. I believe it's just. [00:14:00] Speaker E: Got a crit. [00:14:01] Speaker B: Too, but Aar got a crit so. [00:14:03] Speaker A: Oh, is it a crit? [00:14:06] Speaker E: Me and all the crits. [00:14:10] Speaker A: All the crits that you'll ever need. Okay. In which case, certainly. Well, all of you manage to jump backwards just in time as the ground underneath your feet cracks in at least a 15 diameter. A 15ft diameter hole directly into the bubbling magma. And bursting from the lava under underfoot emerges this long worm like creature with a hardened rock metallic type hide a circular what A circular drawer of teeth in its maw. And as it looms out of the lava. Let's get you a little. Let's give you a cheeky little picture, shall we? He can go away as. [00:15:21] Speaker E: Oh, he can go back as this. [00:15:25] Speaker A: Large kind of were like lava worm bursts out of the the ground. Who's got a intellect of at least plus one. I believe it's just Alfric. [00:15:37] Speaker C: I think that's me. [00:15:39] Speaker D: Okay, we're all stupid. [00:15:40] Speaker A: You're all stupid. Maybe I will give this to Vanya as well, given that you are a monster culinarian. But you one of these before you wreck it. Well, Vanya, you know perhaps from experience, Alfred, you know from book reading that this creature is a skull maga, which is a. A lava. It's a creature that primarily lives in magma and hunts via vibration. But as it bursts out of the the the ground and it lets out a noise at you, spewing flecks of, you know, burning rock from its maw, I think we'll jump into initiative. It did not surprise you. So who wants to go first? [00:16:36] Speaker D: Go on, fan. [00:16:37] Speaker E: Yeah, go on, Vanya. [00:16:40] Speaker F: We all know that a monster makes Vanya happy. Seeing this happen and seeing where we're kind of are at this moment in time. All Vanya can really do at this moment is so my gauntlets produce like a wind slash ice type magic. So flavorfully I'm planning with as I'm trying to punch this creature, I'm trying to hopefully slow it down a little bit or cool it down. Mm. Because I don't think trying to. Yeah, I think that's just gonna be my best bet. So yeah, Vanya like gleaming with a bit of excitement and from all the adrenaline of everything that's happening, it's like you'll be my punching bag then and just goes in for a lunge. [00:17:41] Speaker A: Okay. In which case as it sort of like as its body kind of whips up and kind of flicks like a, like, like a large living whip. Yeah. Make your attack. [00:17:58] Speaker F: Amazing. I am worried he's might be quite hardy, so I might. Where's My details. That was it. Can I spend a hope to add my experience? Thrill of the hunt. [00:18:18] Speaker A: Sure. [00:18:20] Speaker F: Thank you. So that brings me down to three hope, which I'll amend in a second, but I'm just gonna do my roll first. This is Primal Gauntlets. No, I need to do the. The dice roller first. [00:18:35] Speaker A: Also, Nate, while we're. While we're waiting, if you want to roll your prayer dice. Well, thanks. And you're gonna need them. [00:18:42] Speaker E: I'm gonna need them. [00:18:46] Speaker F: This is with plus 6. So I got a 16 with hope. [00:18:56] Speaker A: 16 with hope hits. [00:19:01] Speaker F: I'm gonna take a slayer die instead of taking a hope on that. So I'll remember. Reduced my token down to three a second. There we go. I want it on three. Right? Here we go. So I'm gonna do my damage. I'm gonna also spend a slayer die to add an extra D6 on top of this. [00:19:23] Speaker A: Okay. [00:19:23] Speaker F: Attack. Oh, also do I have my feature that I can do? Yes, I do. So I'm gonna spend. As part of my. Part of me attacking, I'm going to add plus one to my proficiency as I focus down on this enemy in front of us. [00:19:44] Speaker A: Okay. [00:19:45] Speaker F: So I've essentially got 3 proficiency right now. So this is going to be. I'm going to do this on the dice roller because there's a couple various die. So 3d10 plus 1d6 plus 3. 24 points of magic damage as I as Vanir comes up to near the base of this creature, hoping that some of the cold magic might part free some of the cool some of the magma as he punches this thing in the gullet now in the. In the stomach area. [00:20:23] Speaker A: Oh, okay. 24 damage is May severe damage. So yeah, as your blow connects the. The. The force of the sort of the primal nature of the, like the arctic winds that emanate from your gauntlets. Like there's a huge kind of blast of steam as you hit the super heated body of this creature. But it cools one of the plates hard, cools one of the plates on its body enough that it then cracks as the heat underneath kind of rips radiates back through it. And the. The sudden brittleness causes it to crack and break away. And the stolmago, stolmarga kind of recoils away from you as you. As it kind of leans in and you crack it around the side. [00:21:21] Speaker F: With that. Worrying about what this potentially this creature could do to more squishier types. And just as part of my movement, I will just jump towards Alfaric to try and be A bit more of a. Like a shield. Okay. [00:21:38] Speaker A: I will say as you go to move, you notice that the ground underfoot seems significantly less stable than it was a moment ago. And you wonder if the crack in the ground might spread the hole in the. The crust might expand. [00:22:02] Speaker F: In that case, if I know that and I can feel us like breaking down. I say neck pace. [00:22:07] Speaker D: Screw Alfred. I'm going backwards. [00:22:13] Speaker F: Everyone stand back as I. I will. I mean I've already. I can't drag Alfred out the way. So as. Because I've already done my action, I will just step back one. [00:22:28] Speaker A: Okay. [00:22:29] Speaker F: Okay. And that be the end of my turn. [00:22:32] Speaker A: Okay. Anything else? [00:22:37] Speaker F: Nope. That is. [00:22:38] Speaker A: That's your turn. Okay. In which case I'm going to. I want to go. I want to go. I'm going to spend a fear drop myself to two. The skull marga will activate and like as you like, you've just connected with its side and like its heads whipped sideways kind of lets out that warbling, reverberating, ringing shriek. And then as it turns back to you, you see the. The teeth that line the inside of its jaws. Like the inside of its mouth, they begin to rotate like rock grinders as it look like launches itself at you. Vanier. [00:23:29] Speaker F: Assuming that would make some noise to the crete or vibrations for the creature. [00:23:33] Speaker A: Quite possibly that is a. Oh, it's a five. [00:23:42] Speaker F: Nope. [00:23:43] Speaker A: So it. Its head slams down to where you were a moment ago and then it kind of lifts its head up, screeches in seemingly irritation, and it will then disappears back into the lava. Yes, Georgia, that's right. And the. The magma is kind of thick and opaque enough that as it disappears under, there's a. There's a kind of a vacuous. Let's see. Descends under the surface. But you realize you can no longer see or sense its presence. I'm going to pass on to someone else. Who wants to go next? Oh, beg my pardon. As it does. Sorry. Vacuous bubble. The bubble pops, hurling kind of magma up into the air. And they don't hit the ground because the motes of lava kind of coalesce and turn into what appear to be living elemental moats. Now it's. That's the end of my turn. Someone else can go. [00:25:20] Speaker D: If I can hit it when it comes up. [00:25:22] Speaker A: Huh. [00:25:23] Speaker D: I have rangers focus. So I kind of want to wait for it to go back up again and then. That would be fabulous if anyone can do anything before it comes up again. [00:25:34] Speaker C: Looking around us, what. What are. What is the situation of the area we're trapped in is this kind of. [00:25:39] Speaker B: Like a bowl of rock for all. [00:25:44] Speaker A: Extents and purposes, I assume sort of. [00:25:45] Speaker C: Up above us, the hole we fell through with. [00:25:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:25:48] Speaker C: Any, any chance of escape or are. [00:25:50] Speaker A: We very much stuck here with this creature currently? It doesn't, it doesn't look great. Doesn't look great. But there is a stolmmaga arguably trying to eat you. So dealing with that might explain extend your life expectancy slightly. Slightly. Just a little bit. Yeah, yeah. [00:26:17] Speaker F: You probably all heard Vanier mention like, step back, pointing towards your feet. [00:26:28] Speaker A: So. Yes. Yeah. Vanya. Vanya has shouted that there is a. There is loose footing underfoot. So. Yeah. Who's going next? [00:26:38] Speaker D: Can I jump onto Vinnie? [00:26:40] Speaker A: Yep. Well, so you can go, you can basically make it to give or take the bridge normally, and then agility will let you then go all the way. [00:28:08] Speaker D: All the way. Yeah. I would like to go. Does it feel like the ground is tinkering, giving way or is it still. [00:29:03] Speaker A: Worryingly like the whole arena is almost kind of vibrating because the, because the lava is being churned up by the. You know that the skull marga is swimming underneath you somewhere, sensing for your vibrations. But it's difficult, it's all but impossible to pass where it is because. Yeah, everything's still shaking Slumber. [00:29:27] Speaker D: No problem. As I can't hit it. Actually no. I will fire a arrow at so far range now at one of the little magma boys. So really on her trusted mount fires is the agility weapon. Yes. Bo. She gets a 10. [00:30:02] Speaker A: I. I sad you fire the arrow and the heat. The sheer heat of everything around you. Like the. The arrow ignites and just sort of like the head comes away from the shaft and just yeah. Falls to bits before it reaches the elemental moat. [00:30:24] Speaker D: Bums. [00:30:25] Speaker A: Bums. [00:30:26] Speaker D: Says Ray Re. [00:30:29] Speaker A: Who's going next? Who's going after Rari Dark Morven? [00:30:39] Speaker C: I suppose Alfric will just hurry back from the edge of the lava. I think that's all he can really do. Currently none of his spells are particularly useful. But he. He will hurry out of danger. [00:30:53] Speaker A: Gotcha. Gotcha. [00:30:55] Speaker C: Head over here. [00:30:56] Speaker A: Yeah. So you step away from the. And you can see. You know there are. There are lines of warm light beginning to emerge through the cracks in the crust as this hole left by the skull Marga gets larger and larger. So no, no spells end of turn. [00:31:16] Speaker C: No, I don't think he can really do much, but he will get out of harm's way. [00:31:19] Speaker A: Sure, sure, sure. Go. Not. Not Cal. Well, maybe Cal. Who's. Who's. Who's going next? [00:31:28] Speaker B: I. I can go next. Yeah. I think Cal, you know, watching what's happening, it's all a bit of a shock. He's trying to assess situation as best he can. I think he is going to. He's going to move around and attack the. The same moats that Ranger attacked. Because he's no good unless he's attacking in melee range. So he's gonna have to just take some of those chances. So I think yeah, he's gonna come around. [00:32:00] Speaker A: See, here she go. [00:32:01] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:32:04] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:32:05] Speaker B: So around here. And then attack the moat. He's also going to activate his unstoppable thing which is a car speed of his that he's not using because he's an idiot. I'm an idiot. Just in case. So yes, we're gonna use that. So that gives me resistance. Physical damage increases my current armor score by my proficiency and adds the total of my unstoppable die to my damage. Die total and cannot be restrained or vulnerable. So very useful yet numbers of my hit this moat with my broadsword. [00:32:43] Speaker A: Okay. [00:32:43] Speaker B: As hard as. Okay, so yeah, so we're going to go with that. So that's a 16. [00:32:52] Speaker A: That is a hit. It is blisteringly Hot. This close to it. But that is a hit. Your sword strikes true. [00:33:01] Speaker B: Fantastic. That's revised. That's. That's. That's incorrect mistake. That's the damage. So let me just roll that again. [00:33:07] Speaker A: Okay. Oh, yeah, I've seen that. [01:06:55] Speaker D: And Alfred, Alfred. If we all stood, if we all got on Vinnie and then Alfred levitated all of us. [01:07:08] Speaker A: Turns out Vinnie's had opposable thumbs all this time. So he can just grab you with his human hand punch paws and then hold ry in his teeth and then you can just. [01:07:21] Speaker C: I think I'll stay in the lava. [01:07:26] Speaker A: Is it. Is it better if they're more human like rather than dog like? No, like if they are just human hands on the bottom of dog legs, does that make it better? [01:07:38] Speaker D: Like sort of like salad fingers? [01:07:39] Speaker B: Just really long ones and they like. [01:07:41] Speaker A: They tippy tappy like that as he walks. He's actually like a millipede. You just. Okay, very good. Yes. So who's going first? Alfric or Azakar? [01:08:00] Speaker C: I mean, if there isn't a huge amount again, that Alfred can do, but. [01:08:04] Speaker A: Uhhuh. [01:08:07] Speaker C: How are we doing health wise? We all. We all good. We all good. [01:08:12] Speaker F: Shout. I'm. I've only taken one hp. [01:08:16] Speaker D: I've taken two. [01:08:18] Speaker B: I have taken two. [01:08:20] Speaker C: In that case, Alfric will panically swing around his. His violin and he will play in this lava ridden wasteland, a relaxing song which heals you all for one inch. Hit points. [01:08:36] Speaker E: Oh, are you. [01:08:38] Speaker A: Is this the volcanic equivalent of like the band on the Titanic? [01:08:42] Speaker C: Yeah, just like tears streaming down. [01:08:47] Speaker A: Tears which are immediately evaporating from the heat. Okay, okay. [01:08:55] Speaker F: So at one hit, one health point. [01:08:57] Speaker B: Yes. [01:08:58] Speaker C: You will heal one hit point. [01:08:59] Speaker A: Amazing. [01:09:03] Speaker D: Yeah, he's like, what are you doing? Oh, that's quite awesome. [01:09:08] Speaker A: Okay, anything else, Alfric, do you want to move? [01:09:12] Speaker C: Let me just probably get away from this expanding lava hole. So he'll. He'll head backwards as he plays? Actually, no, he'll head forwards as he plays because otherwise he'll go out of range of everyone. There you go. [01:09:25] Speaker A: Okay. Grand. [01:09:29] Speaker D: Walking across the magma. [01:09:36] Speaker A: You know what? We've had so much fun and festivities here that I think I Need to sour the mood by interrupting once again. And this time, this time let's, let's ask. [01:09:54] Speaker E: I see where that cursor is going, Dan. [01:09:56] Speaker A: Let's ask for a. A little agility reaction roll as a car. Okay. Perhaps distracted by the beautiful, beautiful song playing as the Skull Marga bursts from the crust a second, a third time even you've rolled an 11. Unfortunately as it breaches you are firstly. Well you are knocked up in like so effectively the ground right underneath your feet is what erupts up. And your third launched up into the air as a car. It's going to knock you too far which is basically 30ft. So I'm gonna plonk it all the way over there. But as you go it's gonna bite you for 23 to hit. [01:11:02] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:11:03] Speaker A: With a cheeky little 23 damage. [01:11:12] Speaker E: Good job. I got that one HP reviewed. I'm going to spend. I'm gonna spend two armor slots. [01:11:21] Speaker A: Okay. [01:11:21] Speaker E: Because that's what we're going with now. We're going. We can spend as many armor slots as we want. Yeah, I'll spend two armor slots. [01:11:27] Speaker A: Spend them while you can. That's. [01:11:29] Speaker E: Yeah. [01:11:29] Speaker A: Okay. So yeah it bursts up and it lets out that kind of vibrating as it launches you and like you feel one of your legs kind of get ground up by the the teeth before you're hurled away. And I think that's. It's. Yeah. So that's its turn and who wants. It's a car next. So you hate. You land on the other side of the cavern to everyone else, the Skull Marga between you and your companions, what do you do? [01:12:10] Speaker E: I'm going to move up a little bit. Just a little bit closer. Yeah, like that, that from there I'm going to use a bolt beacon against him or her. Not just. I'm going to spend a hope to use keen sight as well. From my experience. [01:12:35] Speaker A: Okay. There a 13 to hit first. [01:12:45] Speaker E: Oh well that was. Oh that was bolt beacon. [01:12:46] Speaker A: Sorry. [01:12:47] Speaker E: That was from my. Sorry. [01:12:49] Speaker A: That's all right. Well we've got 13 damage if nothing else. [01:12:52] Speaker E: Nice. So that's a 17 plus 3. So that's a 20 as a hit. Nice. [01:12:59] Speaker A: And then 13 damage and 13 damage. [01:13:02] Speaker E: Was that with a hope? Yes, with that I've got no winning. No, I'm gonna keep. No, I'm going to use. I've got an ability called second wind. [01:13:21] Speaker A: Okay. [01:13:22] Speaker E: So it's when I make a successful strike on an enemy I can clear three stress or one hit point. And so I'm going to clear Three stress. [01:13:31] Speaker A: Okay. [01:13:32] Speaker E: Once per short rest. [01:13:34] Speaker A: In which case, as you. You've just been launched 30ft through the air to land with a whirring crack to this somewhat fragile like magma crust. As you've picked yourself up, launched yourself forward and your bolt beacon, what does it look like? [01:13:57] Speaker E: He just sort of maneuvers his hands around to produce this bowl of lightning and then just shoots it from the palm of his right hand. [01:14:04] Speaker A: Okay, explain to me what happens, Nate. [01:14:11] Speaker E: As as this worm sort of like is like coming up after this, probably sort of like with his sights right on Azakar, this bolt's gonna just go straight through his mouth. Straight through his mouth and straight through the other side of his head. [01:14:24] Speaker A: Okay. In which case, yeah, as the, as the kind of the radiant lightning arcs into it, you see, it's like it's inside kind of glow slightly through like from the mouth hole. As the bolt illuminates it and the sudden like increase in power and pressure within it starts almost popping. The spikes on its hide out like, well, they. They start pinging off in different directions. The, the plates begin to crack and as they flex too much and as the creature convulses and contorts and kind of twists itself into itself, it lets out a final and lands with a heavy thud, its head laying on the crust of the magma. And then you watch as it slowly begins to slide into the magma and disappear beneath the surface. [01:15:35] Speaker D: There goes dinner. There goes dinner. [01:15:38] Speaker F: There goes my special meal tonight. Why'd you do this to me, dad? [01:15:47] Speaker A: So as, as the skullmonger disappears back under the. Back under the surface. You know what? I think we can reward you all with big blood splatters the. The cavern around like as this thing kind of thrashes like in its death throes, you can feel the. The cavern around you almost kind of picking up in intense pet, like the vibe, the rumbling of the cavern you're in and almost increasing with intensity with its death throws. And as it sort of like lands, you can see kind of large cracks emanating out from from where it's, you know, finally laid to rest. And as the walls shake up in the northwest corner of the. Sorry, in the south northwest corner of the cavern. So pretty much where Cal, Vanier, Rayri and Alfric are a large chunk of the temple overhead, like the floor kind of gives way and it collapses down into the cavern. Thankfully, like not fully submerging, but it is beginning to sink. But you realize that it's for all extents and purposes creating a ramp that you will be Able to head up in order to escape. But as a car, you are on the other side of the cavern. So for all extents and purposes, in round three, what's everyone doing? As Azakar is on the. It will has a sprint for life ahead of him. Who. Who wants to start round three? And we'll just do it real quickly narratively. [01:17:39] Speaker B: I want to go help Asakar. [01:17:41] Speaker F: Yeah, I was going to say I was going to reach for a hand, but yeah, levitate. [01:17:45] Speaker C: I can. I can levitate. [01:17:47] Speaker D: Can I send Vinnie? Can he take one person on his back? [01:17:52] Speaker A: I think he can probably. [01:17:54] Speaker D: I can take a car if I threw Vinnie over that. Or get Vinnie to run that way. I'm going to send Vinnie. I just sit. [01:18:02] Speaker A: Get him. Okay. Okay. Is one of Vinnie's actual experiences like heck and fast? Is that actually one of those? [01:18:11] Speaker D: It is. [01:18:13] Speaker A: I will argue that. [01:18:14] Speaker D: Fast as heck. [01:18:15] Speaker A: Fast as heck. Okay. Vinnie will need a trusted mount. So Vinnie will need to roll agility in order to get to Azakar and back. Unless you want to spend a hope on fast attack I. Which will. Which will fundamentally mean that whilst the like, whilst the temple overhead is fully kind of crumbling into this volcanic pocket that you're in, whilst the four of you are kind of making your way up the slope, Vinnie will have a cinematic leaping between like falling rubble over lava to get to Azakar. [01:18:52] Speaker D: Yeah, I mean, I'm gonna. I'm gonna roll my fastest heck and do my agility roll, I guess to add on my. [01:18:59] Speaker A: Well, if you. So if you want to use the experience, I will let you auto pass it. [01:19:05] Speaker D: I use the hope. [01:19:07] Speaker A: Okay, you use the hope. And as Ray Re splits off from Vinnie. Yeah. As a car, you see this last overly sized Chihuahua bounding towards you like large head flopping from side to side as it goes. And yeah, between. Well, between your acrobatic skill and Vinnie's speed, you're able to. Well, Nate, paint me a picture of how. How your escape on the back of Vinnie looks. [01:19:43] Speaker E: Ridiculous probably as a car will see Vinnie sort of approaching him, will not, you know, delay sort of grab hold of him and. And grab hold of the scruff of his neck and. And leap himself on majestically like the stallion he is. [01:20:04] Speaker A: Yeah, okay. In which case, yeah, the. The four of you clambering up the. This the ramp to safety. The fire moats that spawn from the second pool. They've been crushed under the rubble, so we don't have to worry about them. But yeah, as you spent the hope on the experience Rayri, Vinnie and Azakar. Well, Vinnie carries Azakart to safety and the six of you escape up the ramp out of the. Out of this volcanic cavern. And as you sprint towards the entrance of the temple, with the ground kind of falling away behind you as you go, you hurl yourselves through the front doors into the fresh air, the relatively fresh air of the Marathisi valley that holds this temple before your. Before the air is filled with. With dust and debris that billows out as the temple fully collapses in on itself behind you. And with that, with that escape, I reckon we call a quick break. So congratulations. Congratulations on escaping the Naravidi temple out of the frying pan into the no way home. I. I guess it's not quite a fire, but no. Congratulations everyone on completing that.
