Stop me gibbering. Let's run that intro.
[00:02:19] Speaker B: Hello, I'm Julia and I play Lucretia, a Lorevar wizard.
[00:02:25] Speaker C: Hi, my name is Theo and I'll be playing Pally a wolf Kin Seraph.
[00:02:31] Speaker D: Hi, I'm Georgia and I'll be playing Vergil, a Sangrevar Ranger.
[00:02:38] Speaker E: Hi, my name is DM Dan and I'm playing Myrden, a wolfkin Guardian Druid.
[00:02:45] Speaker F: Hi, I'm Livy and I'll be playing Beau, the dragon scent warrior.
[00:02:51] Speaker A: And my name is Nate and I'll be the GM for this adventure.
The five of you have been tasked by the city city, the town of Falstrom to find two missing guards that last were seen on in the East Valley forest. Obviously as a namesake to the east of the town of Falstrom.
The guards that did return returned in a state that none of you have ever seen before.
Their. Their bodies gaunt.
Their.
Their very essence within them drained from their bodies.
The. The mayor's assistant Travella had told you along with the matron of the infirmary has told you that it seems as almost their. Their very manner, the magic that sort of resides within them, that controls their arcane, that can drive divinity, that can power. Primal magic had been drained from them.
And no one is sure what has done this.
The only sort of clues that you have are this sort of shadow of a child sort of standing there.
The.
The. The shadow doesn't seem to sort of respond in any way. The.
It just sort of stands there and it stares at the lot of you.
[00:04:55] Speaker F: Does it look like a shot? Like can you. Can it.
[00:04:59] Speaker B: Can we.
[00:05:00] Speaker F: From looking at it, can we ascertain that it's solid or is it not solid
[00:05:07] Speaker A: the way that it's sort of like. It's almost like it's like it's. It's black. So you can't actually sort of see any sort of like physical features on it. Only that it shows the silhouette of a. Of a young child.
There are two sort of like small white eyes that glow in its face and the body seems to sort of judder like it's on.
Like it's being filmed on longer frames.
So you can kind of see through it, but only when the shadow sort of undulates a little bit so it's not transparent. It's almost like there's something moving about it.
[00:05:52] Speaker B: Jeez.
[00:05:53] Speaker F: How far away from us currently?
[00:05:56] Speaker A: At the moment it is.
Let's see, from Midden.
Oh, come on.
Where do I get my ruler? There's my ruler.
It's in close range. So it's about say from Meerden. It's about close, so about 20ft away.
[00:06:17] Speaker F: Easily get a headshot in.
I mean.
Or can I, can I throw a rock at it?
I want to shoot it. It's the shape of a child, but I would like to.
[00:06:34] Speaker A: You can. You can throw a rock at it?
[00:06:38] Speaker F: Yeah, just not even like breaking eye contact for from it. Cuz it doesn't feel like you want to look away. Just kind of picks up a pebble.
Just kind of throws it at the kid's head.
[00:06:55] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh.
[00:06:59] Speaker F: What do Jo make?
[00:07:02] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:07:07] Speaker F: Or finesse.
[00:07:08] Speaker A: I don't know what the it would probably be. Yeah, let's have a little agility.
[00:07:15] Speaker F: Sprint, Leap. Strength. Lift, Smash, Grapple. Finesse.
[00:07:19] Speaker C: Control.
[00:07:19] Speaker F: Hide. Tinker.
[00:07:23] Speaker A: Why don't you give me a. An agility roll to throw a rock at this child?
[00:07:33] Speaker F: Oh, terrible throw.
[00:07:36] Speaker A: Terrible.
[00:07:39] Speaker C: So Pally would like to offer you reassurance and be like, oh, no, I reckon you could. You could probably do that. Which means that I give once my long rest after an ally attempts an action, but before the consequences have happened. I can give that to you so you can do a reroll.
[00:08:03] Speaker F: Very good. Thank you very much.
[00:08:05] Speaker D: You look like a fellow who could throw a rock.
[00:08:08] Speaker F: Yeah, I was like to feel a little bit sort of self conscious because no one else was throwing rocks. And just you telling me that it's okay to throw a rock at a child.
Reinvigorated.
[00:08:21] Speaker D: We've all been in that position.
[00:08:24] Speaker C: I think Pally is genuinely freaked out by the shadow child. He would like the rock that's critically
[00:08:30] Speaker F: thrown a rock at the child.
[00:08:33] Speaker A: You've critically thrown a rock at a child.
[00:08:37] Speaker B: Brilliant.
[00:08:38] Speaker A: I guess. I guess Bo with even the serif, who seems like the most sort of. Like the most sort of virtue out of the lot of you, is also saying, yeah, go on, you can do it. You kind of feel like, yeah, actually, yeah, I can.
Can do it.
[00:08:56] Speaker E: You,
[00:08:58] Speaker A: you, you, you sort of like adjust yourself better and you're able to sort of flip this small. Is it. How big is this rock that you're throwing?
[00:09:10] Speaker F: Oh, it's just a pebble. It's not like a. I'm not. It's not a big rock. I just want to see if it goes through the child or not or if it enters. If. Is it a void? Is it a shadow? Is it, you know, trying to work out the viscosity of this.
[00:09:27] Speaker D: Can we hit it with spells and swords?
[00:09:31] Speaker A: I forgot to actually share the artwork.
[00:09:37] Speaker B: Exciting.
[00:09:38] Speaker A: How do I do that? How do I show?
[00:09:41] Speaker F: I. I might. If I see the artwork, I might change the size of rock that I threw. No, no, no.
[00:09:46] Speaker B: Pebble.
[00:09:47] Speaker F: That's fine. That's fine.
[00:09:48] Speaker A: Pebble.
[00:09:48] Speaker C: It's still me.
[00:09:49] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:09:50] Speaker B: It's weird.
[00:09:51] Speaker F: It's weird.
[00:09:51] Speaker C: Paddy feels justified.
[00:09:53] Speaker F: It's not like, you know, oh, it's not.
[00:09:56] Speaker B: Oh, yeah.
[00:09:57] Speaker F: It's not bolder.
[00:09:58] Speaker B: It's Not.
[00:09:59] Speaker F: I'm not gonna throw anything too vicious at it
[00:10:04] Speaker A: with. With this pebble it. It's you massively just so. Even though that Myrddin is kind of like in front of you and your trajectory, you're able with much skill as you are at shooting, sort of able to angle it around him to almost do like a curveball and then smacks into sort of like the forehead of this child. The child sort of like recoils back to feel this pebble sort of hit it's in the head but then it kind of. It draws itself sort of forward.
You can hear this laughter again then sort of emanate into like a.
As.
As a couple more sort of like of these figures start appearing around.
[00:11:04] Speaker E: I would say
[00:11:07] Speaker A: the.
[00:11:08] Speaker E: The father in the group who is currently a bear has turned to look at you Beau.
But then turned back at the sound of that horrendous sound.
[00:11:21] Speaker A: As you see sort of like a couple of these. A couple of these shadow children. Well, six of these shadow children now appear.
Some of them with mouths sort of jutting open almost unnaturally to reveal sort of like these blackened tiny needle sharp teeth as. As they sort of gather round your little group.
[00:11:46] Speaker B: Oh dear.
[00:11:48] Speaker C: I have a question before this becomes an actual combat where they're like where they're moving around. Are they leaving footprints?
[00:11:56] Speaker A: They're not leaving footprints.
[00:12:01] Speaker B: Are they covered in resolved.
[00:12:03] Speaker F: Oh, they're sparky.
Oh they're so sparky.
[00:12:08] Speaker A: You can. There's. There's obviously some sort. Some sort of mist that's coming off them and some of it could very well be this sort of sort of gray ash that has been noticed to be seen on the floor as well.
[00:12:22] Speaker B: Cool.
Oh dear.
[00:12:28] Speaker A: So
[00:12:30] Speaker F: we dispatching
[00:12:37] Speaker E: the maiden's gonna put two plant four paws in the dirt and bellow.
Who are you? Why are you here?
[00:12:58] Speaker A: As you shout this, the children that are now sort of like more like their bodies are sort of like more erratic in movement as they're sort of. They're just sort of juttering like. Like their bodies are not even like part of time. They almost like it's out of time like a badly animated sort of puppet as they just laugh and one of them is gonna.
Is gonna lunge for you.
[00:13:29] Speaker B: Oh.
[00:13:31] Speaker A: As it comes up to you and it's going to go in for as. As you can see. It's sort of like it's. It's drawing its hands sort of into claws, unhinging its mouth and going in to sort of bit you.
[00:13:49] Speaker F: Chomp.
[00:13:50] Speaker A: Do a chomp.
[00:13:51] Speaker B: Shadow chomp.
Hungry baby children up. Children are bitey.
[00:14:00] Speaker A: 4.
[00:14:02] Speaker E: Oh no.
[00:14:04] Speaker B: Holy moly.
[00:14:07] Speaker F: That's just a hit roll, isn't it?
[00:14:10] Speaker A: That's an attack roll. But that, but that's a crit for the. Oh, for the GM. For the GM. That's 20 starting well.
So yeah, you are going to take. Oh, I'm not going to take damage. Go away.
You are going to take. Let's see.
Yeah, So it's. I, I guess with a, with a crit it still is the full damage.
[00:14:50] Speaker E: So 16 plus.
[00:14:53] Speaker A: So it's going to be 16 plus. 8.
[00:14:56] Speaker F: 8.
[00:14:57] Speaker E: 24.
[00:14:58] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:14:58] Speaker C: So.
[00:15:01] Speaker A: So this
[00:15:04] Speaker E: probably could have been.
Okay. Yeah, hit me with that. 24 damage.
[00:15:13] Speaker A: Yeah. So mark that off your sheet, but go.
[00:15:21] Speaker E: Well, yeah, 24 is mine damage, so I will spend one of my armor slots and reduce it to
[00:15:32] Speaker A: probably from just like the shock of seeing this like Shadow just sort of gun rush you and bite. Sort of like bite into the sort of like the, the sort of large shoulder blade on your. On your back.
You, you do feel like a sort of like from it, but it's obviously not the, These children are probably used to something not as, not as thick as your. Your bare skin is. And so you're able to sort of like take in that damage. But you do sort of feel like a fair few of these might not be a wise decision to take hold of.
But yes, these children are fully looking like they are ready to attack the lot of you.
[00:16:25] Speaker E: I'm going to very quickly jump in and retort with a roar and a smack.
Big old smackaroony.
[00:16:38] Speaker A: And.
[00:16:43] Speaker E: I won't, I won't unleash the beast. I'm feeling, I'm feeling kind of weird about attacking children.
[00:16:48] Speaker A: That's a crit.
[00:16:52] Speaker E: Clearly I'm not that bothered.
[00:16:56] Speaker D: Like big bear paws, like.
[00:17:02] Speaker E: So that is a total of 45 damage.
With the backhand. Backhand to the side of the head with.
[00:17:19] Speaker A: I'm just kind of seeing like that is probably, probably.
Yeah, that is.
That is major severe damage on this child as you are not here. You're not here to mess around as this child sort of like as if Shadow more like takes. Takes four damage and, and, and is sort of like recoiling to the fact that it's, it's. It's now just kind of. It's. It sort of. It sort of bundles itself off your shoulder blades and is now sort of just like screeching to its fellow Brethan to. To make in on the attack.
So it is obvious that these children, children are meant to do Are not going to let you go easily.
So if anyone would like to take on Virgil. Virgil, You've got your hand up.
[00:18:19] Speaker D: I do. Yes.
[00:18:21] Speaker A: Go ahead.
[00:18:22] Speaker D: So I've already paid a stress just noting to replace a healing field back into my vault. And I've taken out Know thy enemy because I can only do healing field once per long rest. And I've already done that. I've already showboated.
So he would like to I suppose, cast Know thy enemy on these children. I assume.
I'm gonna assume they all have the same stat block. That might be horrendously wrong. But he won't do it on this child. He'll do it on a child nearby.
[00:18:56] Speaker A: Right.
So when observing a creature you can make an instinct roll against them on a success. Spend a hope and ask the GM for one set of information.
[00:19:05] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:19:06] Speaker A: So go ahead. Make me. Make me an instinct roll.
[00:19:10] Speaker D: I really hope.
[00:19:12] Speaker B: Can I.
[00:19:13] Speaker D: One sec. Is there something I can put into this?
Probably not. I don't think any of these count right against small shadow children.
[00:19:24] Speaker A: That is a 12 with fear that unfortunately you have.
That is a fail. Unfortunately.
[00:19:36] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:19:37] Speaker A: These. These children are definitely something that you have never encountered before. And I think even the. The. The vision of these sort of just like walking sort of undulating, sort of out of time shadows is quite unnerving.
Does it like.
[00:19:58] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:19:58] Speaker A: Beau, would you. Would. Oh Virgil, Would you like to do anything else or.
[00:20:01] Speaker D: Well, can I keep the spotlight for a second and send Brother Talons after one of them?
[00:20:09] Speaker A: Yes you can.
[00:20:10] Speaker D: Yeah, get him.
What do I do? Do I need to click back to Brother Talons?
[00:20:19] Speaker A: Yes, you should be able to click
[00:20:20] Speaker D: on him and then try just action Roll to attack.
[00:20:25] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:26] Speaker D: Who's that?
[00:20:27] Speaker A: You should be able to.
Can you access his.
[00:20:33] Speaker D: I've got him. Do I need to roll something to make sure that he.
[00:20:37] Speaker E: If you click on the attack icon.
[00:20:39] Speaker D: Uh huh.
[00:20:41] Speaker F: It should tell you what you're.
[00:20:43] Speaker D: Can I add death from above if he's dive bombing one of these children?
[00:20:47] Speaker A: Of course.
Which one is he dive bombing?
[00:20:50] Speaker D: He is going to go after.
He'll go after the one that is attacking Myrrodin.
[00:20:55] Speaker A: Okay. Go for it.
That is a 17 with hope. Yes. That is a success.
[00:21:06] Speaker D: Thank you, Brother Talon.
[00:21:08] Speaker B: Got some good modifiers.
[00:21:10] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:21:11] Speaker A: So roll for Dage.
[00:21:14] Speaker D: How do I find dimage in here? Oh, it should be on the thing, shouldn't it?
[00:21:17] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:21:19] Speaker D: Oh, there it is.
[00:21:28] Speaker A: That is a 25.25DE.
Which is a severe hit. So Brother Talon's obviously just very upset about this. Whole stuff. Everything that's happening at the moment and appearing that it's. You kind of don't look like you know what you're doing. You're just kind of going, oh, I've never seen these before.
[00:21:49] Speaker F: Looking at a child
[00:21:53] Speaker A: and with a severe. This child does take three damage, which means it drops down to zero.
[00:22:04] Speaker E: Please just poof into Shadow. I'm hoping this he doesn't.
[00:22:08] Speaker A: Yes. As. As. As Brother Talon sort of like passes down through this child, latches hold of its head, sort of grabs hold of it, but it just goes into sort of like this glittery sort of ash that you've been noticing around the area and just go out of here.
[00:22:28] Speaker D: That's our very irritated hoot.
[00:22:31] Speaker A: I wanted to take this child off
[00:22:33] Speaker D: into the sky with it.
[00:22:36] Speaker B: Farewell, Shadow Child.
[00:22:39] Speaker A: Who? Bo, would you like to go next?
[00:22:44] Speaker F: Yes.
I'm just gonna have to pivot slightly because I can't sneak attack. That was the only one in melee range.
So I will.
Oh, just fire it. How they're all gonna be far, aren'?
Which one shall I shoot?
I would like to shoot the one that is this guy over here on the rock to the left. Yeah, this guy.
I will snipe. Snipe that one with my gun, please.
[00:23:29] Speaker A: Go for it.
[00:23:31] Speaker F: I will.
Let's just roll it.
Let's just roll it.
Sorry. I get hope for that.
[00:23:52] Speaker A: Oh yeah. Because when you. When you roll with fear, you can.
So how does it work? You take a hope.
[00:23:58] Speaker F: I fail with fear.
I take a hope instead.
[00:24:02] Speaker A: You take a hope instead.
[00:24:03] Speaker D: Nice.
[00:24:04] Speaker B: Wow.
So take a hope as well as well, not instead.
[00:24:09] Speaker F: Oh yeah. No. They still get to get his fear, but I.
[00:24:13] Speaker B: And you still fail the role.
[00:24:14] Speaker F: But I still fail the role. Yeah, yeah, of course.
[00:24:17] Speaker B: It's a nice little concept.
[00:24:18] Speaker F: You can fail with hope as well. So.
[00:24:20] Speaker B: Yes, that's rubbish.
[00:24:25] Speaker A: So yeah, you. You're sort of trying to. Pally and Lucretia are sort of just like maneuvering around to say where they should go. And you're just like, get up. Get out of the way.
As you try to sort of aim at this. Aim at this other shadow, sort of like towards over to this large rock face. But unfortunately the.
The. The. The shoot misses and sort of ricochets off the.
Off the rock face.
But when with that, the. I'm going to now take a go as this.
As the child that you tried to aim for sort of screeches at the. At the notice of this.
Of this ricocheting bullet and sort of go like crazy towards P and make an attack on him.
[00:25:25] Speaker C: Okie dokie,
[00:25:28] Speaker B: dear.
[00:25:32] Speaker C: I'll be right.
[00:25:38] Speaker E: Continue.
[00:25:39] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:25:43] Speaker A: Oh, it's only a free.
[00:25:46] Speaker C: That's not his.
[00:25:48] Speaker A: As this.
[00:25:49] Speaker C: As.
[00:25:50] Speaker A: As. Pally, you sort of notice this shadow child sort of like coming at you sort of clawing wildly, but you're able to sort of maneuver yourself out of the way to. To get away from these. These ravaging sort of claws and teeth.
[00:26:03] Speaker F: Speaking.
[00:26:04] Speaker A: Speaking of which, pally, I think you're up next.
[00:26:07] Speaker C: I am up next. So, yeah, I was going to go attack the two on the other side, but I'm being attacked by one now. So let's, let's get this. Get this guy. So, yeah, I'm going to.
First of all, my prayer dice. I've rolled my prayer dice. I have a one, a three and a four. I'm gonna give myself the one so I have an extra hope. Yep.
And so I'm just doing the mark that I've done that one here.
[00:26:31] Speaker F: Here.
[00:26:32] Speaker C: Yep. And then I'm going to use my axe against this child.
Yeah, let's see what, see what happens.
And I'm going to, um, put in train since birth as well as one of my experiences.
[00:26:50] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:26:51] Speaker C: I'm going to give it a roll.
[00:26:54] Speaker F: Nice.
[00:26:55] Speaker A: That is a 23 with fear. Yeah. Yes, that is a hit. Go ahead.
[00:27:00] Speaker C: Fantastic. So going to roll damage for that.
And then also I'm going to use Fearless to change that fear to a hope.
[00:27:10] Speaker A: Ah, fantastic.
16 damage.
16 dege, which is major damage on this child as you sort of like bring up your. Your moon, your. What's your axe called? Moon Cleaver.
As you bring up Moon Cleaver and sort of like hack at this shadow and. And while it feels like it's sort of just like almost sort of like melts through butter or maybe even like, maybe even like tar.
The. You can definitely tell that the child has taken damage as it sort of screams back as well on that towards your attack as you changed it to. As you changed it to hope.
Who would like to go next?
[00:28:07] Speaker B: I will go next.
I think Lucretia has every faith in Pali, so she's going to kind of join ranks with Beau and start targeting the ones off to the right.
And she's gonna open up one of her books, point her staff and send an ice spike at the sort of lower one.
Let's see. Okay.
I don't think any of my experience applies. Let's just roll it
[00:28:44] Speaker F: o.
[00:28:44] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:28:48] Speaker F: Yep.
[00:28:48] Speaker B: So it's a 14 with fear.
[00:28:50] Speaker A: 14 with fear. So with a 14 with fear.
That does not hit, unfortunately.
And with that.
With that fear, I'm now going to take the spotlight and let one of these children that you sort of tried to aim for is going to mark a stress. I'm going to spend a fear to take him into a spotlight. He's going to mark a stress.
He's going to.
How far away you lot, I think that you are?
[00:29:23] Speaker B: We're pretty close.
[00:29:24] Speaker A: You're pretty close. You're not in the range that I want you, though, so.
[00:29:31] Speaker B: Good.
[00:29:32] Speaker A: Well, he's gonna actually sort of run up. He's gonna run down this cliff Hayce, and he's gonna run up to the both of you, and he's going to.
And you hear this sort of even more guttural sort of cry that comes out of him.
Him. They it causing an echoing cry that sort of reverberates through the rock face. And I would like the both of you to lose a hope.
[00:29:58] Speaker B: No.
[00:30:01] Speaker A: Quite a few of us if it's in. And yes. And Pally is Pally as well. Yep. So Pally and Murden as well. Within close range, if you could all.
[00:30:09] Speaker B: That was rude.
[00:30:10] Speaker A: Bump yourself down.
[00:30:13] Speaker B: Hush, child.
[00:30:19] Speaker A: And with that as well, he's also going to make an attack on you, Lucretia. He's going to come at you with claws and fangs for sort of.
[00:30:31] Speaker B: Oh, dear.
[00:30:32] Speaker A: For showing your intentions.
[00:30:34] Speaker B: Huh? Huh?
Oh, boy.
[00:30:39] Speaker A: That is a 20. A dirty 20. I'm taking it. That hits your evasion.
[00:30:45] Speaker B: Yes, yes, yes, rather.
[00:30:47] Speaker E: And with a bellowing roar, a bear will come barreling over and insert itself between you and the shadow child. As I use. I am your shield.
[00:31:03] Speaker B: How lovely.
[00:31:04] Speaker A: So you're going to take the damage?
[00:31:06] Speaker E: I am. I'm going to mark a stressor. I got by one. But also click, click.
Do I ignore? I do not ignore.
[00:31:16] Speaker A: Okay, do not ignore.
So with that, then, you are going to take 16 damage.
[00:31:26] Speaker F: 16.
[00:31:27] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:31:30] Speaker A: Also along with that, once the child has made a successful attack against the PC, you feel this imposing dread and I gain a fear.
[00:31:42] Speaker B: Oh.
[00:31:43] Speaker F: Oh, no.
Good
[00:31:49] Speaker A: maiden, I think you were next. Would you like to go?
[00:31:52] Speaker E: Oh, I'll let. I'll let both step in.
[00:31:54] Speaker A: You get both. So good.
[00:31:57] Speaker F: Yay. He's in melee range.
I would like to stab, please.
[00:32:03] Speaker A: Like to do a stab.
[00:32:05] Speaker F: I'd like to do a stab.
I will roll for stab.
Come back.
[00:32:17] Speaker A: Roll for stab.
[00:32:18] Speaker F: Come on. It's a critical stab.
[00:32:24] Speaker A: Yeah, roll that bones. Roll that damage.
[00:32:29] Speaker F: So I'm gonna roll this one. And then I'm also going to add on my.
Sneak Attack as well.
[00:32:37] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:32:37] Speaker F: Afterwards, I assume just sneak.
Sneak.
You do double.
[00:32:46] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:32:46] Speaker A: Because it's.
[00:32:48] Speaker E: So it's 3D. 8. 6. Plus 18.
[00:32:52] Speaker F: Plus 18. Okay. So that's 52. 52.
[00:32:57] Speaker E: 70.
[00:32:58] Speaker F: 70. 70 damage, please.
[00:33:00] Speaker A: 70 damage on this small child.
[00:33:05] Speaker F: I think he just bow. Just kind of just.
Just.
Just get.
[00:33:12] Speaker A: Well, I think you can probably tell that is like double severe damage.
And so this child is going to take four damage for that. But he is as you're just sort of whipping around and you're like a blur.
And this child is obviously, like, taking all of the hits, but is still sort of standing, Its body sort of undulating even more wildly as you do this.
Maiden, would you. Well, bo, would you like to do anything? Would you like to keep the spotlight?
No.
[00:33:44] Speaker F: I mean, one stab's enough, you know,
[00:33:46] Speaker A: I think it's more than one stab.
[00:33:49] Speaker F: 70 stabs is enough.
[00:33:50] Speaker A: 70 stabs is enough.
Cool. Maiden, would you like to go? Yeah.
[00:33:56] Speaker E: Okay. So as bows kind of skewered this small shadow child in the same sort of, like, movement to dive into, like, protect lucretia from the attack. A large claw is going to swing out.
[00:34:15] Speaker A: And
[00:34:18] Speaker E: I'm going to go.
I think I'm just gonna raw dog it.
That's a crit.
[00:34:31] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness.
[00:34:32] Speaker E: Gain a hope I reduce the stress.
[00:34:37] Speaker A: And
[00:34:40] Speaker E: this is with a plus. Another plus three on top, if it matters.
59.
[00:34:46] Speaker A: 59.
As beau sort of like pulls away as after making 70 stabs, you just bring this massive bear paw down onto this child. And it just goes out of existence as this glittery ash sort of covers your paw as it sort of wafts off into the wind. And yes, that this child is no more.
[00:35:14] Speaker E: And then I'm just gonna sort of like.
As the. As the child poofs away into the glittery dust, Maiden's going to sort of like, you know, shoulders up, Just kind of pace backwards slightly Just to be sort of like, in between the.
Like, equidistant to all four of you. And then just, like, head on a swivel, looking for the next attack.
[00:35:37] Speaker A: Cool.
Anything else you'd like to do? I'm just going to move into position. Cool. Pally, you are up.
[00:35:44] Speaker C: I am up. I'm just going to, like. Everyone seems to be doing fine behind me. I'm not worried about anyone.
I can see virgil, my periphery, but there's. He doesn't seem to be in danger. So I'm just going to keep hitting this charge in front of me. So I'm just going to do again the moon cleaver.
And yeah, I'm very aware of this hope eating beast business.
I'm wondering if I should just use it while I have it.
[00:36:13] Speaker A: It's fine. It's fine.
[00:36:14] Speaker C: So, yeah, I think. I think. I think I'm gonna. I'm gonna do that. So, yeah, I'm just gonna use another hope then.
Am I gonna.
From my experience, I've trained since birth, training since 17 with fear.
[00:36:28] Speaker A: 17 with fear.
Would you like to turn that into a hope? Usual fearless. To turn it into a hope.
[00:36:36] Speaker C: Yeah, let's do that. Let's do another two strats
[00:36:41] Speaker B: flip an act.
[00:36:43] Speaker A: So, yes, with a 17, you do hit. Roll, roll for dimage.
[00:36:50] Speaker C: Dimash.
Roll.
19.
[00:36:56] Speaker A: 19. Yes. A 19 is some lovely major damage as this child is sort of recoiling back from another big blow from your moon cleaver.
Anything else you'd like to do? Would you like to keep the spotlight or would you like to move it on to someone else?
[00:37:18] Speaker C: I mean, I could just give it another whack whilst I. Whilst we still have.
[00:37:21] Speaker F: Why are you there?
Go ham on this kid.
[00:37:28] Speaker C: Just another ham. Right, okay. Another moon cleaver. And, you know, why not? Let's just do the same thing again. Let's just go.
Just hope machine. Let's do it.
[00:37:40] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:37:41] Speaker F: Nice.
[00:37:41] Speaker C: And that was a good one.
[00:37:42] Speaker A: Nice. Yes. That is definitely a hit.
[00:37:44] Speaker C: Yeah. And another hope.
Let's do it. Let's do damage.
Actually, I might put.
No, actually, no, I won't. I'll just roll. I'll throw damage.
[00:37:59] Speaker E: Cool.
[00:37:59] Speaker C: And that's 17 damage.
[00:38:01] Speaker A: Yes, 17 damage is major damage again, as you just go absolutely ham on this child.
You're more. You're more military trained than go.
[00:38:14] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:38:19] Speaker A: Probably feeling a little bit uneasy due to the sort of height and look of a child, but you seem to be fairly confident in the fact that these are not children. These are something else. So, yes, the child then just goes.
[00:38:34] Speaker E: Just pretend they're evil sooty sprites and then you'll.
[00:38:39] Speaker F: That makes it worse.
I'd happily kill shadow children, but not a little sprite.
[00:38:50] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:38:50] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:38:51] Speaker C: And I would like to move up to. So pass Virgil between the other two.
[00:38:58] Speaker A: Yeah, sure. Go for it.
[00:38:59] Speaker C: As far as I can get. So just trying to see how far I can. Yeah. Is it happy to roll an agility? It's actually within close. No, it's just in. So just between.
[00:39:09] Speaker F: Yeah, you could just about get there with.
[00:39:12] Speaker C: So cool. So I pick the right button for you. That would be really good, wouldn't it?
[00:39:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:39:21] Speaker C: So I'M just gonna there, so you
[00:39:23] Speaker A: can go just there. Cool.
[00:39:26] Speaker C: Cool.
[00:39:28] Speaker A: If pally's happy to pass, pass the bow on to someone else. Who would like to go next? Who would like to take the spotlight?
[00:39:36] Speaker D: I'll take the spotlight.
[00:39:37] Speaker A: Sure. Go for it, Virgil.
[00:39:40] Speaker D: Virgil will take out his crossbow, I think, and shoot at, I suppose the child directly in front of him.
[00:39:52] Speaker A: Go for it.
[00:40:00] Speaker D: Yeah.
13 with fear.
[00:40:06] Speaker A: That's 13 with fear.
Yes. That does. That does not hit. Unfortunately, you. You're. You're still not completely sure about what.
What these.
What these creatures are and you're finding
[00:40:20] Speaker D: back in the forest and you're finding
[00:40:24] Speaker A: it hard to sort of like just about aim as this. As the shadow in the body is sort of like, like sort of undulating uncontrollably in front of you, I think he'll.
[00:40:36] Speaker B: He'll call out to you.
[00:40:38] Speaker D: Are we certain about this?
[00:40:43] Speaker A: So with it being the child's turn, the child is going to dash up to you, Virgil.
[00:40:51] Speaker E: Oh.
[00:40:52] Speaker A: As it just saw you try to make an attack on it, it is going to spend a stress to do another. To do another echoing cry. So with everyone within close range, so that's probably going to be, I think all of you, well, very close range.
So probably not Lucretia, not Bo, but Maiden, Virgil and Pali, if you can all do me, reduce your hope by one. If you have no more hope, you have to reduce. You have to mark two stress.
Ouch.
[00:41:26] Speaker B: That is a bit ouchy.
[00:41:28] Speaker D: That's painful.
[00:41:30] Speaker A: And at you, Virgil. This kid is going to do some claws and fangs and try and. And try and attack you again.
Wrong one.
It does 10 hit 10.
[00:41:50] Speaker D: Does not hit 10.
[00:41:52] Speaker A: Pretend. Does not hit.
So as this child is sort of coming up to you and sort of again sort of clawing and. And screaming at you, you seem to be able to get your. Get your composure around it and just kind of go and just move out of its way.
Maiden, would you like to go?
[00:42:13] Speaker E: Yeah.
Mir. And seeing the shadow child rush, Virgil is going to let out a third raw.
[00:42:25] Speaker C: And
[00:42:27] Speaker E: I was gonna go for a chomp.
[00:42:29] Speaker A: Gonna go for a chomp.
[00:42:33] Speaker E: Oh, it was almost a crit.
[00:42:34] Speaker F: Almost
[00:42:37] Speaker A: 27 with fear. Yes, that does hit.
[00:42:40] Speaker E: Okay.
And that is a total of.
35 damage.
[00:42:54] Speaker A: 35 with Dimash. Because you've made a successful hit with.
With fear.
You will hear this child cry out. And it's so unsettling, probably because you are once upon a time a father.
The. It shocks you to your very core.
And I'd like you to mark one stress but yes, I'm used to children
[00:43:24] Speaker E: crying 1/6 of the time, but not this time.
[00:43:32] Speaker A: But with a 37, yes, that is severe damage. So this child will.
[00:43:38] Speaker E: So there's a.
[00:43:40] Speaker A: As. As you kind of hear this child, probably as you chomp down on this child's head, the scream sort of emanate through your skull and a very. And it's just like.
[00:43:53] Speaker E: Then I'll look up to Virgil. It's easier to picture them as sooty sprite.
And then. Yeah, if it. If that creature, if that shadow child has disappeared, I'm gonna once again.
[00:44:13] Speaker A: Okay, we're still there.
And as you rolled with a fear, I will take a go.
This child again is going to mark another stress and it's going to do echoing cries again.
Why is that not sending to chat? So yes, anyway, so yes, if the. The three of you again, Virgil, Pally and Merden, if you can reduce one hope. If you have no more hope, you
[00:44:37] Speaker D: have to mark two stress out of hope.
[00:44:43] Speaker A: And this child is gonna go for you mad. And it's gonna go in for a go in for a crunch itself.
[00:44:50] Speaker E: Oh, yes.
[00:44:52] Speaker A: 17.
[00:44:52] Speaker C: 17.
[00:45:03] Speaker A: As it comes in and starts to sort of sink its teeth into you,
[00:45:09] Speaker E: it gets a mouth full of fuzz and fur.
I will mark an armor slot to reduce that minor to nothing.
[00:45:17] Speaker A: Okay, fair enough.
Because the church child did make a successful attack. I get to gain a fear as well from that.
So yes, I think the next person was Bo. Bo, would you like to go next?
[00:45:31] Speaker F: Yeah, I mean, I will shoot that kid.
I'm going to shoot that kid.
It's in melee range, so it would count as a sneak attack as well.
It as it's completely surrounded by a bear, an owl and an old man.
I will use my experience.
[00:45:55] Speaker B: Just stab your way through.
[00:45:55] Speaker D: It's fine.
[00:45:56] Speaker F: Yeah, I'll use my experience as a sharpshooter to make a perfect little attack there.
Okay, let's go.
[00:46:10] Speaker A: That's an 18 with hope. Yes, that definitely does hit perfect.
[00:46:16] Speaker F: So let's rolly that one and then also sneak attack.
[00:46:27] Speaker A: So that's a 1323. 35.
[00:46:31] Speaker F: 35.
[00:46:32] Speaker A: 35. Yes. A 35 is severe dead as you as Meerden sort of like buffers this child off them as it almost tries to claw up for another attack. Your gun sort of this time is striking true as you cause severe damage to this child and it as the gun, as the bullet sort of passes through its neck, it just poof again puffs into non existence.
Would you like to keep the spotlight or would you like to pass it on.
[00:47:10] Speaker F: I mean, I might as well go for another shot while I'm here. Is this little guy next to Pali is in melee range, or is he just close?
[00:47:20] Speaker A: He's very close range.
[00:47:24] Speaker F: He'd be no worries. I will shoot this one on the rock, then here.
No sneak attack.
Just.
[00:47:32] Speaker A: Just gun.
[00:47:33] Speaker F: Just gun.
Just critical gun.
[00:47:37] Speaker B: Oh, critical gun.
[00:47:41] Speaker C: We've been so desensitized by low numbers being bad that even, like, two twos almost.
[00:47:47] Speaker F: Snake Arts, the Campaign 3 finale.
[00:47:50] Speaker C: No, never.
[00:47:51] Speaker A: Because they were with real dice.
[00:48:01] Speaker F: It's not. I don't add sneak attack. So. Okay, you're only a 40.
[00:48:06] Speaker A: Okay. Well, that is still severe damage. So you. You're gonna. You're feeling much more confident, much more cocky now as you sort of whip your gun around again like that and shoot the other child on the other side.
[00:48:19] Speaker E: Is it like a six revolver?
[00:48:21] Speaker F: Just blow the imaginary smoke out. It's like an arcade. It's like a mana crystal. It doesn't even have smoke. Just tips his hat at Lucretia that's next to him.
[00:48:32] Speaker A: Speaking of which, Lucretia, how do you react to Beau's. To Beau's sort of cocky confidence? And would you like to go next?
[00:48:41] Speaker B: I'd love to go next. I sort of go and I stick out my great stuff to do a zap at the same child who is up at the child who is up at the child.
A 12 and a 4. That's a 19 with that is.
[00:48:58] Speaker A: That is a hit.
Go for it.
[00:49:01] Speaker B: Yes. Roll damage.
Okay. First time I've had to roll damage. This is very exciting.
[00:49:07] Speaker A: So there is a button underneath where in the chat where it says 19 with hope. There's a button there that says roll damage, and that will roll it for you.
[00:49:13] Speaker B: And then I don't need to do anything. There's no.
[00:49:16] Speaker A: It'll do it for you.
[00:49:17] Speaker F: It'll do it all for you.
[00:49:20] Speaker C: Good.
[00:49:20] Speaker F: There we go.
[00:49:24] Speaker A: With a 20. That is major damage. So, yeah, as. As you kind of look at Beau and go, watch this.
You make another. You also make a zap for the child.
[00:49:38] Speaker B: Purple and energy.
[00:49:39] Speaker A: I was gonna say. Yeah. What does your magic look like? But a zap of purple energy sort of emanates from your great staff as it aims true at this child.
And you can see the sort of purple sort of roll through its shadow like, almost like thunderclouds.
And this child is looking very unstable, but is still standing.
[00:50:01] Speaker B: Oh, I thought that would have done it.
[00:50:04] Speaker A: Would you like to keep the spotlight or would you like to Pass it on to someone else.
[00:50:07] Speaker B: Zap him again.
[00:50:09] Speaker C: Go again.
[00:50:10] Speaker A: Zap him again.
[00:50:10] Speaker B: Zap again.
It's. Oh, there's seven. That's my. That's my strange pattern.
Does that mean I get something?
I'm gonna get a hope.
[00:50:23] Speaker E: Are you on your hope dice?
[00:50:24] Speaker B: Nice.
[00:50:25] Speaker A: Nice.
[00:50:26] Speaker B: I either gain a hope or clear a stress. I believe if I.
[00:50:30] Speaker A: Does it have to be. Does the 7 have to be on your hope dice, though? Because you rolled it.
[00:50:35] Speaker B: How do I find out which one's which it is on? It's on my fear, but it doesn't say it just on a duality, apparently.
[00:50:41] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:50:41] Speaker B: Yeah, let me double check that just to be sure.
When you roll that number on a duality, die gain a hope or clear a stress. Cool.
18 with hope.
[00:50:54] Speaker A: 18 with hope. Okay, fantastic. Yeah, roll them bones.
[00:50:57] Speaker B: Roll them bones.
And yeah, that is a 17 damage.
[00:51:03] Speaker A: Nice.
[00:51:04] Speaker B: So, yeah, basically I zap him. Go. Oh, I thought that would have done it. And I zap him again.
[00:51:11] Speaker A: This.
[00:51:12] Speaker C: This.
[00:51:12] Speaker A: This sort of shadow child sort of like it just sort of like the. The. The thunderclouds sort of like fade away in it. And as it's just about to sort of like bum rush at you, it's sort of gets another hit and it just goes as it dissipates into. Into dust.
[00:51:33] Speaker B: Lovely.
And then I think I'm gonna stay where I am.
[00:51:38] Speaker A: I'm gonna stay where you are.
[00:51:39] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:51:40] Speaker A: Pali, your turn.
[00:51:43] Speaker C: So there's one. One kitty left. So I'm gonna. Yes for that one. What I'm going to do, however, is I'm going to take a moment and like press like as part of, like using my prayer dice, I put my finger, my little finger on my thumb against my chest. Take a, like a steadying breath, and I'm going to use my prayer dice. I think I'm going to take.
I have rolled a four, so I'm going to take four to have four hope.
Mark that off.
And I'm going to. Yeah, hit this. Hit this child very hard with moon cleaver.
So, yeah, so it's going to do train since birth. Just going to do the one roll on this one, hopefully.
Let's see what happens.
Okay.
Do you want to stress my. No, cuz I've got. I've still got. I've still got three on my prayer dice. Can I add that? And is that.
[00:52:42] Speaker A: Yeah, sure.
[00:52:43] Speaker C: Does that work?
[00:52:43] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah.
[00:52:44] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:52:44] Speaker E: Make it 16.
[00:52:45] Speaker C: So all my prayer guys are done.
[00:52:46] Speaker A: So 16 hit 16 with fear. So, yes, that is a hit. But because you made a Successful attack on this child. Again, you're. You didn't hear it sort of go through maiden, but you. You also hear as the, as the ax sort of like carves through this almost too like close to home, like screams of children just kind of buries itself into your bones. As you can mark a stress for me, please.
[00:53:16] Speaker C: I will, however, because once per rest, when you succeed on attack against adversary, you can clear three stress or a hit point on accessible stress with hope, you can also clear three stress or hit point on the ally. So obviously that's not relevant here, but I can.
So obviously you gave me a stress, so that would be five.
But then I clear. So that comes two.
Yeah. So that's okay. I can. I can deal with that. That's fine.
[00:53:45] Speaker A: Fantastic. Yeah. Roll me those bones for that damage.
[00:53:49] Speaker C: Yes, I can roll Dimash.
[00:54:00] Speaker A: Nineteen and nineteen.
Yes. As a nineteen. As you, as you try to sort of buffet away these, These cries, you're in your brain, you're kind of going, these are not real. These are not real children.
A 19 is a major hit as you bring Moon Cleaver down again onto one of these shadows and cut through it like it seems to slice through easily. But you. You can't kind of shift this uneasy feeling that it's not like air, it's not like. It's not like passing it through like, like gas or something like that. There's something more to it.
As you roll with a fear. I will spend a fear to.
I will spend a fear to sort of take my go.
With echoing cries again, he's going to mark a stress and then everyone within close range. If you can lose a hope or if you can mark two stress if you've got no more hope left.
With these echoing cries, I'm gonna mark two more fears.
[00:55:09] Speaker B: What
[00:55:11] Speaker A: the.
The.
The pali. As. As this cry just seems different. It seems.
It seems louder, it seems more reverberating. It seems more kind of. Just like kind of out of this world. Like, like thousands of children are just sort of like, like crying out loudly into a. Into a void.
As the.
The.
[00:55:43] Speaker E: The.
[00:55:43] Speaker A: The rest of you, the. The other four of you, you. You kind of hear this as well. But there's something more like, I think sort of like mid and Bo, maybe even element of Virgil as well.
[00:55:57] Speaker C: You.
[00:55:57] Speaker A: Through these cries, you almost hear like the sounds of.
Of war. Like the sound biting, the sounds of swords clashing swords, the sounds of swords clashing, the sounds of men and women and people up against one another shouting, crying, grunting.
As the sounds of these, like the, sort of like the, the clash of steel upon steel starts to grow louder and like harsher as these new figures what start appearing sort of like round the outside of where you are.
These, these, these creatures are sort of are different. They're. They're taller, they're longer, they're more agile. They're the. They walk as if they're walking on blades. No, and their arms just look like, sort of. Just like finely sort of like cutting swords as they sort of approach you from out of nowhere
[00:57:24] Speaker B: like that.
[00:57:26] Speaker A: Who'd like to go next? Merden?
[00:57:32] Speaker E: Okay, See. Okay, seeing these figures approach and I've taken the spotlight, I think I'm just gonna like, rear up on my hind legs and roar in like defiance in challenge at these new arrivals.
And then I'm gonna pass a spotlight on to Virgil.
[00:58:05] Speaker F: You got.
[00:58:10] Speaker A: Virgil?
[00:58:11] Speaker D: I think rather than Virgil, I will be sending Brother Talons into the fray. Yeah, he's. He's gonna dive bomb this final child.
[00:58:21] Speaker A: The final child.
[00:58:22] Speaker D: The final child.
[00:58:29] Speaker B: Get out.
[00:58:29] Speaker D: Get rid of it.
[00:58:31] Speaker F: Finish him off.
[00:58:32] Speaker B: He'll use.
[00:58:34] Speaker D: No, I don't have anything left. Okay,
[00:58:38] Speaker A: get him, get him, get him.
[00:58:42] Speaker D: I don't think he got him.
[00:58:43] Speaker A: No, I. I think sort of like upon this, this, this scream that sort of emanates like, is reverberates through these, these rock faces. You. You're finding it really difficult to.
To. To make a clear shot at this child. And maybe even Pally is sort of like still trying to go at it with his ax that you're. You're unable to sort of get a clear hit.
Oh, this is Brother. Brother Talons.
[00:59:08] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:59:08] Speaker A: He's, he's. He's trying to find it hard to sort of get in there because Pal's in the way. He's just like screams at you.
Yes. And unfortunately he is unable to.
To make an attack with a fear.
One of these shadows is going to make its way over to Pally.
[00:59:39] Speaker C: I could take some hits.
[00:59:40] Speaker F: That's fine.
[00:59:40] Speaker A: You could take some. It's fine. Just fine. You can take some hits and you can. And Pally, as you. If you've been doing this, as you've been concentrating on this, on this child, you don't notice this sort of like this towering figure sort of come around the back of you and sort of come at swipes with you with one of its limbs and it's going to do.
There's a 16 hit.
[01:00:07] Speaker C: 16 hits?
[01:00:08] Speaker A: Yeah, 16 hits.
It is also going to do another attack. It's going to spend a stress with this attack to do unrelenting objective.
Okay.
Which means that when I do its damage, which, which is.
Oh boy.
[01:00:35] Speaker F: Oh.
[01:00:37] Speaker A: Oh hell.
And it has to be direct damage so you can spend any armor.
[01:00:44] Speaker B: Is that what that means?
[01:00:45] Speaker A: Yeah, that's okay. That's fine.
[01:00:47] Speaker C: I mean that's minor damage for me, so that's okay.
But yeah, not maybe for lots of other people, but that was okay for me. That was. That was okay.
[01:00:57] Speaker E: Cool.
[01:00:58] Speaker C: So that's just one hit point because it's just under my miner, isn't it?
[01:01:01] Speaker A: That's how that works. Cool.
[01:01:02] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:01:03] Speaker A: So yeah, as, as you sort of you, you are suddenly with the cold feeling that these things mean business.
And that that sort of cold feeling that sort of goes through you definitely makes you feel that these are probably the creatures that the guards and Mayor Bravin came in contact with.
Okay.
Would you like to go next?
[01:01:27] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, I would like to hit.
I'm trying to think of. Because obviously I've got the kid still to deal with. I can, I can use spirit weapon, which means I can. If I succeed I can hit both, which is useful. But it's figuring out who's better to hit. Like. Yeah, yeah.
I mean I think he's going to just keep hitting me anyway at this point.
So I'm going to get rid of the kid and if I can get rid of the kid, I can get
[01:01:55] Speaker A: rid of the kid.
[01:01:56] Speaker C: Going get rid of the kid. Cuz he can also remove my hope.
So yeah, let's. I, I would do that. So yeah, I'm going to.
[01:02:04] Speaker E: I mean well, if you do spend the stress, then whatever you roll against the shadow trap but also hit the shadow sword creature thingy behind you.
[01:02:14] Speaker C: Yeah, that's what I mean. So like it's gonna like either way I'll still hit both of them if I succeed. If I don't succeed.
So yeah, let's pump her open here as well.
Actually I'm tempted to do two. Let's do two sort of. Let's go.
We'll see how this goes. So incredible strike strength and train since birth. As I slam the ax forward.
[01:02:42] Speaker A: That is a 22.
[01:02:45] Speaker C: So I'm gonna mark a stress to make that hope and then I'm also going to pump another stress into that to make I hit.
Sorry. So that'd be 4 stress.
So I now hit both of them with my spirit weapon. So I bring up.
So yeah, so let's do this.
[01:03:13] Speaker A: 20.
[01:03:15] Speaker C: Nice.
[01:03:16] Speaker A: With a. So I'm. I'm guessing that both targets take the 20. Take 20 damage.
[01:03:21] Speaker C: Both targets take the 20 damage. Yeah.
[01:03:24] Speaker A: So as you.
As you sort of recoil back this. As you recoil back with your.
With your ax to hit sort of both targets, both of them only take minor damage. No, but actually the. The child will take major damage.
But the. But the. The shadow sword will only take minor damage.
[01:03:50] Speaker C: Okay, good to know.
How's. How's the kid looking?
[01:03:58] Speaker A: The kid is. The kid is still standing.
[01:04:01] Speaker C: Okay, great.
[01:04:04] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:04:05] Speaker A: Because you.
Because you have attacked the shadow sword, the shadow sword is going to retaliate and spend another stress to do another attack at you.
[01:04:15] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:04:26] Speaker A: Eighteen.
It hits.
[01:04:27] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:04:28] Speaker A: And it's going to do one, two, three, boom, boom, boom.
It's going to do 17 damage, but that isn't direct damage, so.
[01:04:43] Speaker C: Okay, cool. Since this time I will mark in other slots.
Okay. Okay.
[01:04:53] Speaker A: Rolling with a. You changed the fear into a hope, didn't you?
[01:04:56] Speaker C: I did, Yep.
[01:04:57] Speaker A: Yes. Cool. Would you like to keep hold of the spotlight? Would you like to pass it to someone else?
[01:05:02] Speaker C: I'm good. I think.
Let someone else have a go.
[01:05:05] Speaker A: Okay. I think Myrden's next. Myrden, would you like to go?
[01:05:09] Speaker E: So having like turned my head to see this like shadow sword creature barrel into Pally and kind of realizing how dangerous they are as this blade kind of seemingly just slid through your armor.
Yeah. Still on my hind legs, I'll let out the roar and then sort of like use the momentum of tipping back forward to barrel towards the what one sort of off to the west.
And as I go, I'm gonna surge with power as I trigger my unstoppable.
As I become unstoppable.
So this will add currently one to my damage roll.
[01:06:03] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:06:03] Speaker E: Damage job.
I'm going to come like go in with the. The bite.
I'm going to spend a hope.
[01:06:14] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:06:16] Speaker E: As I'm blessed by Artosia.
[01:06:27] Speaker A: A 14 with hope.a 14 with hope.
Doesn't hit.
[01:06:31] Speaker E: Okay.
Okay. I gained the hope back.
[01:06:36] Speaker A: At least you can definitely tell that these shadows are much more agile and much more quicker in reflexes than the children were.
[01:06:47] Speaker E: Okay.
Am I okay? In which case you'll pass over to you. And then my unstoppable goes up to two. Stop.
[01:06:56] Speaker A: Goes up to two.
Bo, would you like to go?
[01:07:01] Speaker E: Oh, you can take a go, cuz I missed if you want. No.
[01:07:05] Speaker A: Oh, can I?
[01:07:07] Speaker C: Lovely
[01:07:10] Speaker A: with. With my go. Then I'm going to.
I'm going to spend a fear to cause something called rising fear.
Everyone within far range on your next roll, you must use a D20 on your fear dice.
[01:07:31] Speaker B: Wait, hold, hold. Up a minute within far range of. Who is it?
[01:07:36] Speaker A: Just everybody of the. Of the creature that is. It's going to be everyone but the creature that Mir and just attacked. So yes, on your next attack roll, you are going to have to roll a D20 as your fear dice.
[01:07:49] Speaker B: That's mean.
[01:07:52] Speaker A: And he is also going to make an attack at Murden.
Does an 8 hit?
No, no. So yeah, as he.
As it tries to sort of like, it tries to sort of grab you as. As you're making these attacks, but you are also sort of like, you are military trained as well in some sort of sense.
So you are able to maneuver around.
Yeah, you're just like.
I think Beau was next. Bo, would you like to go?
Would you like to go?
[01:08:39] Speaker F: Would you like to go?
I am going to.
At the one by.
That's the one that just let out the rising fear, wasn't it? Let's shoot that guy.
I am also going to mark a stress to gain advantage because I am a reckless.
That's just my middle name, baby.
So let me do that as mark stress down.
Wait, wait, on the. Which one's dress on the. On the three green.
[01:09:29] Speaker E: No, no, stress is not on our bars.
[01:09:34] Speaker F: Oh,
[01:09:37] Speaker C: I tweeted in the character sheet when I mark stress.
[01:09:41] Speaker D: Yeah, same.
[01:09:45] Speaker F: No, not 14. Jesus.
[01:09:47] Speaker A: And you die. You die from stress or feel that right now.
[01:09:52] Speaker C: We all feel it.
[01:09:55] Speaker F: So I'm gonna have advantage on my attack, but my. It's gonna be a D20 for my fear. Is that correct? Yes, no worries. And I'm going to spend a hope on sharpshooter.
And let's go.
That's a 30 with fear.
And you're.
[01:10:17] Speaker A: Which one are you aiming for again?
[01:10:18] Speaker F: The one by Mirton.
[01:10:20] Speaker A: Yeah, cool. Yeah.
[01:10:22] Speaker E: Roll it.
[01:10:23] Speaker F: I'm also.
Oh, no, it's. If I fail with fear, I get. If I fail with fear, I get hope. But if I just roll fear, I don't get hope. Cool.
Damage.
Yes.
[01:10:36] Speaker A: Yes, please.
[01:10:37] Speaker F: Yes, please.
Also sneak attack. Yes, please.
[01:10:46] Speaker A: So 26.
[01:10:47] Speaker E: 33.
[01:10:48] Speaker A: 33.
[01:10:49] Speaker F: 33.
[01:10:50] Speaker A: Yes. With a 33. That. That is major damage. As this. As this being is. Is so occupied with fighting Murden, it obviously doesn't react quick enough to your flying bullets and sort of takes it through the shoulder as sort of like again, this sort of glittery ash sort of puffs out of its shoulder as it ricochets back.
Yeah, It is going to. In retaliation. You're in.
You are in close range. Nice. So yes, it's going to spend the stress, little guy.
It's because it's taken this. This damage. It sort of quickly points itself at you and sort of floats over these. These crevices over to you to retaliate on that attack. Go on.
[01:11:43] Speaker C: There we go.
[01:11:43] Speaker A: There goes.
Comes up to you.
[01:11:46] Speaker B: Uhoh.
[01:11:47] Speaker A: And is going to do another sharpened limbs strike at you.
There's a 16 hit.
[01:12:04] Speaker F: A 16 does hit. Yes.
[01:12:07] Speaker A: That's a hit.
It is going to spend another stress to do. Unrelenting objective. Oh,
[01:12:16] Speaker E: here comes the bear.
Amazing do.
Am I even bothed?
I am both.
[01:12:26] Speaker A: You are buffed.
[01:12:27] Speaker E: I am buffed.
[01:12:29] Speaker A: Takes Bob as you take 13 damage and that is direct damage. So you can't use an armor.
[01:12:40] Speaker E: Yeah.
[01:12:41] Speaker A: So no.
Says no.
[01:12:50] Speaker E: So unstoppable reduces.
Okay.
It's minor damage and unstoppable reduces.
[01:12:56] Speaker F: It pieces it down. Yeah.
[01:12:58] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:13:00] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:13:02] Speaker E: Take a blade.
It just makes me angrier.
[01:13:07] Speaker A: Angrier hungry bear.
But yes on a. That was with fear. So I get to go again. I.
The child.
The child sort of seeing all this action.
The child.
The child up again. Is going to do a. Another is going to mark another stress is going to do another echoing cry again. Again. It's it. It. The cry that it sort of screamed out that did the same sort of thing that. That brought the.
These shadows. These shadows with these large swords sort of come into play. Screams out again.
And this time you don't hear the clashing of swords. It's almost something heavier. Something.
Something just.
Just the dread that sort of crawls over the lot of you is.
Is unshakable as this. As this large behemoth of a creature what comes into play gonna make him a bit bigger as well.
[01:14:22] Speaker C: Nathan, this is session two.
[01:14:26] Speaker A: Session two. It's all right. It's fine. You guys are doing so well.
[01:14:33] Speaker D: When do we just leg it?
[01:14:34] Speaker B: Yeah. Can we just go?
[01:14:36] Speaker F: Yeah.
[01:14:36] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:14:38] Speaker A: As this large feeling confident as this large sort of like behemoth with axes for limbs.
What you've noticed with like these other shots shadows that like there is this dust, this sort of glittery ash that's sort of coming off them. But with this one it's almost like dripping something.
Who. Who's next on the list? I'm seeing many hands.
[01:15:02] Speaker E: I think Lucretia went up first.
[01:15:04] Speaker B: I've changed my mind.
Changed my mind.
No thanks.
I'm just kidding. Is there. I will I. Happy to go. Is there any pen penalty for doing my. My purple zap at melee range? Is that a problem?
[01:15:20] Speaker A: No.
[01:15:21] Speaker B: Or can I like whack him with a. With. With a purple?
[01:15:25] Speaker A: You can. You can whack him. You can zap him. Like both you can do.
[01:15:30] Speaker B: How is the child next to Pali looking?
[01:15:33] Speaker F: It must be nearly gone.
[01:15:35] Speaker A: It's nearly gone. It's looking. It's. It's. It's undulating sort of more rapidly.
[01:15:40] Speaker B: I'm probably gonna trust that Beau and Murden have got this. This guy in front of me, and I'm gonna just turn around and do a little zap over my shoulder at the child.
[01:15:49] Speaker A: At the child.
[01:15:50] Speaker B: Because, you know, this child is bad. So. D20 for fear.
Yeah.
[01:15:57] Speaker E: So when you click on it, you can change the dice.
[01:16:00] Speaker F: It's all good.
[01:16:01] Speaker B: I've got it. Just making sure.
Okay. So, yeah, the unexpected benefit of this is you roll higher and I'm gonna mark two stress for my fearless to change that to a hope.
[01:16:13] Speaker A: Yep. You can do that.
[01:16:15] Speaker B: Yeah.
Two stress. Where do I put my stress?
Oh, there it is. Okay. Okay.
[01:16:25] Speaker F: Thank you.
[01:16:27] Speaker B: Okay, cool.
So I am fearless. That was that.
[01:16:32] Speaker A: Lovely.
Yeah, that is a hit.
[01:16:36] Speaker B: Awesome.
Roll that damnage.
I zap him for 16.
[01:16:47] Speaker A: 16. 16 is gone.
Minor damage.
[01:16:52] Speaker B: What?
For the child?
[01:16:55] Speaker A: For the child.
[01:16:56] Speaker B: 16's never been minor damage before.
[01:16:58] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. Oh, no, it has. Sorry. No, it is my bad. Sorry, I'm looking at the wrong thing. Yes, that is major damage.
This child, as this child sort of like is. It's so occupied by Pally in front of it, it feels the shock wave of this. Of this. This purple bolt. Go through it as it again, sort of like out of existence.
[01:17:21] Speaker B: Perfect.
[01:17:22] Speaker A: That was.
[01:17:23] Speaker B: That was not another question.
Does.
Is there a similar rule to the game system which shall not be named, where people can get opportunity attacks when you move away from them?
[01:17:34] Speaker E: Only the warriors only.
[01:17:36] Speaker F: Yeah, yeah. I get attacks. Opportunity.
[01:17:39] Speaker B: Nice. So how far can I move?
[01:17:42] Speaker A: What is the. Just a moment. Just a moment.
[01:17:45] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:17:46] Speaker A: That was.
That was magic that you used, wasn't it?
[01:17:49] Speaker B: Zinc.
[01:17:50] Speaker A: Yes, that was zinc, yes.
[01:17:52] Speaker B: Oh, no.
Oh, dear.
Daddy Axe Hands doesn't like that Daddy act.
[01:17:59] Speaker C: I think it's the other way around. I think he likes that.
[01:18:03] Speaker B: Oh, he loves it. I'm not gonna like what he does about it.
[01:18:07] Speaker E: Daddy Axe Hand has become aroused.
[01:18:13] Speaker A: A countdown is going to begin.
[01:18:16] Speaker B: Sorry, what?
[01:18:20] Speaker A: Don't like it?
[01:18:21] Speaker B: What do you mean? A countdown? Is he.
[01:18:23] Speaker A: A countdown? A countdown is going to begin.
Why this?
Why this, though?
[01:18:32] Speaker B: What are you talking about?
[01:18:33] Speaker A: I'm just saying it's going to. It's going to start. Countdown's going to start.
[01:18:37] Speaker B: Okay, we got to attack Daddy Ax Hands, but pronto.
[01:18:42] Speaker A: Can you all see that?
[01:18:43] Speaker E: Yeah.
[01:18:44] Speaker A: In the corner?
[01:18:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:18:45] Speaker B: Oh, no.
[01:18:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:18:46] Speaker B: Oh. Oh, no.
[01:18:48] Speaker A: It started and you rolled with fear, didn't you?
[01:18:50] Speaker B: I. I converted it to hope.
[01:18:52] Speaker A: Oh, you converted it to hope. Yes. So you can. If you want to hold the spotlight, you can. Or you can pass it on to someone else. You said you did want to move.
[01:18:59] Speaker B: I'm going to move and then I'm going to pass it on. Okay.
[01:19:01] Speaker A: You can move within. You can move within close range. If you want to move further than that to far, you have to do an agility check.
[01:19:08] Speaker B: So I can move about. Oh, quite far, actually. Okay. I'm gonna move up to be between like Virgil and. And hoots McGee up there. Okay, cool.
[01:19:19] Speaker A: Cool.
[01:19:20] Speaker F: Perfect.
[01:19:20] Speaker B: And I pass on the spotlight.
[01:19:23] Speaker A: Virgil, was it you next?
[01:19:25] Speaker D: I think so, yeah.
[01:19:26] Speaker A: Go, Virgil, go.
[01:19:29] Speaker D: I think he is going to see Pali in slight trouble with this little man over here.
And I'm going to spend distress to take out.
What did I take out? I took out wild fortress and I put in death maneuvers and he is going to sprint towards this little man here and he's going to immediately attack it.
There's that deft maneuvers. Yes.
I can immediately make an attack against them and gain a plus one bonus to the attack roll.
[01:20:07] Speaker A: Okay.
Go, go, go.
[01:20:09] Speaker D: He will shout Pali's name as he runs for. No, no reason. Don't worry about it.
[01:20:19] Speaker C: Don't forget to roll with the D20 for fear.
[01:20:22] Speaker A: Yeah, just.
[01:20:24] Speaker D: Oh, yes.
[01:20:25] Speaker A: If you just click on the fair dice, it should turn it to a 20.
[01:20:28] Speaker D: Okay.
Oh, yes, of course. I see.
Okay.
[01:20:36] Speaker A: I would just like to mention as well, tag teams can still have.
[01:20:40] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I know.
[01:20:43] Speaker C: No one's got any hope, mate. I wonder.
[01:20:47] Speaker B: I've got some hope. How much does it cost to do a tag team?
[01:20:53] Speaker E: Those two that sensibly stayed away from these screaming children.
[01:20:57] Speaker D: Yes.
[01:21:00] Speaker A: That is a 12 with hope. Unfortunately, that is.
[01:21:03] Speaker D: How did you manage?
[01:21:04] Speaker B: Nothing.
[01:21:05] Speaker D: Virgil, you are useless.
[01:21:08] Speaker B: Throw him in the bin.
[01:21:09] Speaker D: I'm just gonna play Brother Talons now.
[01:21:12] Speaker A: As. As you shout. As you shout Pally's name as you rush towards him. Him, the shadow obviously sort of turns around from you and. And is able to sort of duck out of the way as you make an attack.
As you miss that attack, I am going to take a go.
What am I going to do? What's. What's Nathan going to do?
Let's have a look.
No, that was with that.
That would be good. Yeah.
[01:21:49] Speaker C: The joys of being dm.
[01:21:52] Speaker B: You're gonna be so embarrassed if you TPK us.
You're gonna really Regret it.
[01:22:02] Speaker C: As
[01:22:05] Speaker A: this large holkering shadow sort of layer looks at the. The cre. The person that sort of like created sort of like the manner that sort of awoken it.
It's going to pound over to you, Lucretia, and it's going to sort of rear up its axes as it implies to make a heavy attack on you.
[01:22:30] Speaker B: Oh. Oh, no.
[01:22:39] Speaker A: I'm also going to spend.
[01:22:43] Speaker E: Spend the fear and automatically just resolve that.
Resolve it.
[01:22:49] Speaker A: No, he's gonna. He's gonna. You kind of look up as you see this creature sort of like bring its. Bring its axes up to you.
[01:22:57] Speaker B: Fascinating.
[01:23:02] Speaker A: And I'm also going to spend another fear to.
To get this.
To get this little guy down here that's between Murden and Bo to make another attack. And it's going to make an attack at Bo get you as it sort of brings down its. Its sort of like sharpened limbs down onto you.
23. Does that hit?
[01:23:41] Speaker F: So you're hitting me off, Julia?
[01:23:43] Speaker A: I'm hitting. No, I'm. I'm. Julia is not being hit.
[01:23:46] Speaker C: This.
[01:23:46] Speaker A: This carrot. This. This large hulking shadow is. It looks like it's preparing, but it's obviously just. It's taking its sweet time to sort of bring down. To bring down the crash.
[01:23:57] Speaker F: Dragon Ball Z villain.
[01:23:58] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:23:59] Speaker F: Okay, no worries. Yeah, 23 hits.
[01:24:03] Speaker A: Yeah, 23 hits.
[01:24:04] Speaker E: Le Roar.
[01:24:06] Speaker A: Le roar indeed.
With that, it will be a.
A15.
[01:24:25] Speaker E: Oh, am I boffed?
[01:24:28] Speaker A: Are you bothered about it?
[01:24:29] Speaker E: One day I will roll a six and then.
[01:24:32] Speaker A: And you will bendicated.
[01:24:33] Speaker F: And you will be bopped.
[01:24:35] Speaker A: You will be bopped.
[01:24:37] Speaker C: Small, small thing. Nate, preemptively I'm going to tell you that Pali is going to use I am your shield on whatever happens to Lucretia.
[01:24:49] Speaker A: Right.
I just need to.
I just need to check something very quickly.
Virgil, was your attack that you did, was that a magic attack? Was that using something?
[01:25:00] Speaker D: No, I don't. I have. I have no hope for magic, Nate. I have crossbow in my bare hands.
[01:25:07] Speaker A: Fair enough. Fair enough.
Yeah.
[01:25:10] Speaker C: Cool.
[01:25:12] Speaker A: Go ahead, Bo. I think you are next.
[01:25:15] Speaker F: Well, I was going to suggest a potentially a tag team situation with my best bare friend as I could potentially boost off of you.
Hit the axe, boy.
And then I'll just land by him. And if he is within close range of you, you can also run up and attack him if you are.
[01:25:48] Speaker E: Wait, so we tag team? You usually boost.
[01:25:53] Speaker F: I boost. So if I boost, I jump off of you. I can have advantage on attacks and then I land within melee range.
If he is within running distance of you, you can then run up and join me as I hit the floor and you can attack him.
[01:26:12] Speaker E: Is the boost you riding a bear into battle?
[01:26:15] Speaker F: Maybe.
[01:26:20] Speaker E: I'm. I'm. I'm here for it.
[01:26:22] Speaker F: Okay.
[01:26:23] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:26:24] Speaker F: Well, I think the boost is, like, he has to jump up. So he'll jump and then land back on you.
[01:26:30] Speaker E: Yeah.
[01:26:30] Speaker F: And then we can. Yeah. Okay.
[01:26:32] Speaker E: Okay, Perfect.
[01:26:33] Speaker F: I will spend my hope for a tag team, so I will.
So we both roll. Is that correct?
[01:26:42] Speaker E: Yeah.
[01:26:43] Speaker A: Yes, you both roll and you take which one you want.
[01:26:46] Speaker F: Are we still using D20 as fear?
[01:26:49] Speaker A: I think Dan is on your.
[01:26:52] Speaker E: Yes, I. I do.
[01:26:53] Speaker A: Yeah, but not you, Bo. You only do it for one. But for one.
[01:26:56] Speaker F: Not me. That's not me.
[01:26:57] Speaker A: No, but not you because you've already done it.
[01:26:58] Speaker F: However, I do use a D20 as my hope dice when I make a tag team.
[01:27:02] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:27:04] Speaker F: Because I'm a tactician.
I've got got brains in there.
[01:27:09] Speaker A: Got brains in there. So that's a 15 with Hope.
[01:27:12] Speaker E: And I'm gonna barrel in towards the.
[01:27:15] Speaker F: So I have Daddy act hands advantage. And I use a D20 and I'm gonna use sharp user. Let's go.
That's a crit.
[01:27:26] Speaker A: That is a crit.
[01:27:28] Speaker B: Amazing.
Double, double, double, double damage.
[01:27:32] Speaker A: Go for it.
[01:27:38] Speaker E: Okay, cool.
[01:27:40] Speaker F: So that means I have all of
[01:27:41] Speaker E: our abilities moved over.
[01:27:44] Speaker A: Pile all of your abilities into this. The hulking shadow.
[01:27:48] Speaker F: So I'm gonna get that
[01:27:51] Speaker E: plus that.33.
So bear does.
Scroll up.
57 from bear.
[01:28:07] Speaker A: 57 from bear.
[01:28:13] Speaker F: Was it three sixes.
[01:28:18] Speaker E: So 57, 87, 96. 100 and 321. 121.
[01:28:29] Speaker A: 121.
[01:28:31] Speaker F: Nice.
[01:28:32] Speaker B: It's gonna be like, oh, minor damage.
[01:28:36] Speaker D: He brushes that off.
[01:28:38] Speaker A: Well, I will say boost.
[01:28:40] Speaker F: No, I added D10 if I use boost. So that's two.
[01:28:43] Speaker E: I added 121. 131 plus.
[01:28:47] Speaker F: Actually, I just roll a D10 so there'll be one for the crit and then one just as a. Yeah. Normal row.
[01:28:53] Speaker E: So 131. 140.
[01:28:56] Speaker A: 140. Yeah.
[01:29:00] Speaker E: Yes.
[01:29:01] Speaker A: So 140 is D double severe damage.
So it will take four.
Four points off. As.
[01:29:13] Speaker E: Have you ever seen a bear baseball pitch a small dragon boy,
[01:29:21] Speaker A: like, leg kick off?
Yes.
[01:29:26] Speaker C: As.
[01:29:26] Speaker A: As the two of you go barreling into this. Into this hulking shadow.
Yeah. It is obvious that it's. It's. It's. It's concentration is so much on Lucretia as it sort of brings up these axes.
It does.
It. It does sort of like buff it Back.
But with that, three points go off the accumulate as. As the. As the. As the damage that this creature does takes this. This black ichor that's sort of like pouring off. It sort of like pours out more.
And the. The three of you that are sort of in very close range, I would like you to mark two stress as you are stepping and spattered with this ichor.
[01:30:13] Speaker E: But am I bovd.
[01:30:15] Speaker A: Are you boved?
[01:30:17] Speaker E: God damn it, I'm boved
[01:30:21] Speaker F: always.
[01:30:21] Speaker A: Boss.
Is. Is anyone at max stress at the moment or is anyone else?
[01:30:30] Speaker B: When we reach max stress, you'll find out.
[01:30:32] Speaker C: I'm on four out of six stress.
[01:30:39] Speaker E: Six of eight.
[01:30:40] Speaker A: Okay.
So, yeah, you are noticing that this. This. This pool of black ichor that this. This creature is. Is sort of like pouring out of it has. Has. It is having some sort of effect on you, and it's probably a good idea if you are not in the vicinity of it.
I have Mirden up next in the. In the route. Would you like to take the spotlight?
[01:31:04] Speaker E: Yes.
So I've. Yeah, just fastball pitched bow.
This thing barreled in with a swipe. I'm then gonna go in with a jaws to leg
[01:31:21] Speaker A: action. Yeah.
[01:31:24] Speaker E: I'm gonna spend a hope to release the beast within.
[01:31:31] Speaker A: Release the beast within.
[01:31:33] Speaker E: And that's a crick.
[01:31:37] Speaker B: It's nice.
[01:31:41] Speaker E: So I found out that I don't need the ability that lets me ignore stress on a six. I just need to keep rolling, Chris.
Just keep on screws. So the. The snap to the leg is actually going to be a snapping strike.
So I'm going to spend a hope. Drop yourself back down to one to one. Okay.
And you're going to take
[01:32:16] Speaker F: three.
[01:32:16] Speaker A: Roll.
[01:32:18] Speaker C: Roll.
[01:32:21] Speaker E: A total of ste. Damage.
[01:32:24] Speaker A: 60 damage.
[01:32:26] Speaker F: Nice.
[01:32:26] Speaker E: And with the clamp of the jaws, you are also temporarily restrained and vulnerable
[01:32:38] Speaker A: with that 60 you like. That first attack has made you cocky. Like, you seem like you've done like some massive amounts of damage, but when you chomp down, you're kind of feeling like you're not having the same sort of impact as a 60 will only do major damage.
And as you. As you've made another attack on this creature as it sort of retaliates, you can feel this black icker that sort of comes out of it sort of pouring out of your jaws as the clock goes down.
Another three.
As all of you within close range again mark another stress.
[01:33:23] Speaker B: One or two?
[01:33:25] Speaker A: Was it one one stress?
[01:33:27] Speaker B: Okay, cool.
[01:33:30] Speaker E: Once again, I am always, always loved.
[01:33:39] Speaker A: Because you've done an attack and I've realized Even though he's sort of being this, this hulking shadow is still being attacked, it's still holding up its axe arms ready to retaliate.
Because you've made a successful attack on him in close range, he is going to bring these axes down onto you maiden as he's going to do.
[01:34:02] Speaker E: Just, just. Sorry, just real quick.
If I actually did 62 damage, that's not magically severe, is it?
[01:34:11] Speaker A: No.
[01:34:11] Speaker E: Okay, cool, fine.
My unstoppable goes up to three.
[01:34:15] Speaker A: Okay, let me just have a little thinky thinky here.
What was I thinking? Nothing.
As it's going to bring down these axes onto you, does an 11 pass your revolution evasion?
[01:34:42] Speaker E: It does.
[01:34:43] Speaker A: It does.
[01:34:44] Speaker B: It does.
[01:34:45] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:34:49] Speaker E: There's a lot of this junk to to shimmy about junk in this guardians hit.
[01:34:56] Speaker F: Hit strong. No evasion.
[01:34:58] Speaker A: No evasion.
[01:34:59] Speaker F: No evasion.
[01:35:00] Speaker A: As it's going to bring down these two axe arms onto you, it is going to perform 31 damage.
[01:35:10] Speaker E: That is major. Unstoppable. Downgrades to minor. I will spend an armor to reduce to nothing.
[01:35:18] Speaker A: Reduced to nothing. You wrote. Oh, you did a critical. So he's vulnerable and restrained at the moment. Is that correct?
[01:35:26] Speaker E: So can't move and people get advantage on attacks against it.
[01:35:30] Speaker A: Cool, cool, cool, cool.
Who would like to. Lucretia, would you like to go next?
[01:35:36] Speaker B: Yeah, I want to get away from this guy. Yeah, I'm just gonna move away. Is there anything stopping me from just moving away from him?
[01:35:45] Speaker A: No. Nothing at all?
[01:35:46] Speaker B: No. No, no. Okay, cool.
What's over over this way?
[01:35:52] Speaker A: It's just a tree.
[01:35:53] Speaker B: A tree and then, and then just like ledges.
[01:35:55] Speaker A: Yeah, it's another sort of cliff faces that's going up another five foot.
[01:35:58] Speaker B: But if I was on top of the cliff, would I be able to see what's going on? The tree wouldn't be in the way, would it?
[01:36:05] Speaker A: No. Well, not because.
Yeah, yeah.
[01:36:10] Speaker B: I want to get up on the cliff. So I'm gonna move away.
[01:36:14] Speaker A: If you're going to go up onto the cliff, I would like you to make an agility roll for me.
[01:36:18] Speaker B: No, I'm not. Because I'm going to use a spell to get up there.
[01:36:21] Speaker C: Oh.
[01:36:22] Speaker B: So if I do not have adversary within melee range, which is why I backed off a bit first, I can make a spellcast roll and spend a hope to create a portal to far range.
[01:36:34] Speaker A: Fair enough.
[01:36:35] Speaker B: So this is in my. Which book is it in? I think it's in my book of vagras.
Yeah. Arcane door.
Cool. So I need to normal duality Dice.
Yes. Perfect.
Difficulty 13.
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. 18 with hope.
And so I'm gonna zip up onto the.
Onto the thingy boy.
And I'm gonna give myself a hope. Lovely
[01:37:12] Speaker F: brill.
[01:37:13] Speaker B: And here I am. Do I get to do another thing before I pass up the spotlight, or is that it?
[01:37:19] Speaker A: As you. As you sort of. As you use this portal to sort of like, sort of boots you up again, the clock goes down another one.
[01:37:31] Speaker B: Wait a minute. Did I just have. I had to spend a hope to do that, didn't I?
[01:37:37] Speaker E: Yes.
[01:37:37] Speaker B: Let me just double check.
Spend a hope.
[01:37:40] Speaker F: So.
[01:37:40] Speaker B: In fact, I did not Not. I'm. I'm net neutral on hope now. Exactly.
Cool.
So, yeah. Accumulate. I don't. I don't like it. I don't. I don't like the sound of accumulate. I do not like what Daddy Axe Hands has in store for us.
So is this happening every time I do magic?
[01:38:01] Speaker F: I think it's every time that we spend hope.
[01:38:04] Speaker D: I felt like it was magic because it's mana.
[01:38:07] Speaker F: It's.
[01:38:07] Speaker D: The people back in town had their mana drained from them.
[01:38:11] Speaker B: The timer started when major mana was detected.
[01:38:16] Speaker F: But when me and Myrddin did attack ours, no magic attacks at all. And it still went up, but we used Hope to tag team.
[01:38:24] Speaker B: Interesting. Okay. Let's see what happens if I. Am I allowed to do another thing
[01:38:28] Speaker A: before I. Yeah, of course you can.
[01:38:29] Speaker B: Yeah. I want to pew, pew, pew him.
[01:38:31] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:38:31] Speaker B: With my big, big old great stuff. Stuff which is very magical.
[01:38:36] Speaker A: Which is very magical.
[01:38:37] Speaker B: That was a 24 with hope.
[01:38:39] Speaker A: That's a 24 with hope. That does it.
[01:38:41] Speaker B: It hits. So I'm gonna roll some damage.
It's only 13 damage, which is probably just like a little flesh wound to him.
[01:38:51] Speaker A: That. That will be minor damage.
[01:38:53] Speaker B: Cool.
[01:38:53] Speaker A: Which is he.
Because you used. Because you used magic.
[01:39:00] Speaker B: I am quite far away.
[01:39:01] Speaker A: Down you. It will go down another one.
[01:39:04] Speaker B: Damn it.
[01:39:04] Speaker A: As you definitely sort of, like, imbued him, and he sort of, like, takes another hit.
[01:39:08] Speaker B: Oh.
[01:39:09] Speaker A: As because he's taken a hit, you
[01:39:12] Speaker E: drink the Kool Aid.
[01:39:15] Speaker A: It will go down to zero.
[01:39:18] Speaker B: Stop.
[01:39:21] Speaker A: He'll. It's obvious that sort of, like, he hasn't. He's. He's sort of, like, absorbed that this magic as it sort of, like, rumbles through him like that sort of, like, storm that you've originally seen from the children.
He'll raise up his axes, and this. This unknowing sort of blast just emanates from him where this black icker just sort of travels everywhere.
[01:39:46] Speaker B: Oh, dear.
[01:39:47] Speaker A: Around the area and it almost seems like, like you. Your vision is then just covered in this sort of black Igor as it sort of splats onto each and every one of you as you.
As this sort of like feeling of dread and panic and fear and stress sort of emanates all the way through all of your. All of your very inner cause.
[01:40:13] Speaker C: You.
[01:40:14] Speaker A: You struggle to sort of like see one another. You struggle to see anything. You struggle to hear the. Even the cries are sort of like, are being cut out through as this black ick is sort of like. It seems like it's sort of melting into your ears, melting into your very sort of eye sockets and brain.
The, the feelings of hopelessness, of, of intense worry sort of like dig down like deep down into your souls and you feel lost.
You're lost in this void. You're lost in this darkness until like a feeling of.
Of a light sort of emanates sort of slowly from outside you and warming you as if, like, as if like taking a hot drink on a cold day, you can feel it sort of like move through your. Through your esophagus, through your lungs, through your stomachs and then through each sort of parts of your hand. You feel this warmth as the, as the worries and the stress and the, and the panic leave you.
The four of you, the five of you, but the six of you find yourself in a void, but in a sort of like a small meadow of orange and yellow flowers as, as the, the five of you are sort of laid back. Brother Talons is sort of just like crumpled a little bit on the floor, but he's alive.
Who has, who has the highest instinct? Who has the highest insight?
Plus 2?
[01:42:25] Speaker E: Plus 4.
[01:42:27] Speaker A: Plus 4.
Anyone else
[01:42:33] Speaker F: not higher than plus 4?
[01:42:36] Speaker A: Myrdden? You sort of like rear up your, your bare head as you sort of take in the surroundings. You can't see anything else around you. It is pitch black.
But this, but this sort of. These, these flowers are sort of welcoming. They are, they're. They're almost.
You can definitely feel some sort of element of safety.
You, you look up and you look around at the, at your other travelers as they sort of slowly, they slowly sort of stir and you can see them sort of opening their eyes and then into your periphery sort of flies by. This sort of like this small dragon, this small dragon like creature with sort of like very flittering wings as it sort of flitters in front of you and it sort of zips around your head like a hummingbird and it looks at you and it looks at the others and it. And it flitters through between the lot of you as if like, cheers. Checking to check if you are all okay.
The.
There's definitely some of you that took some damage in that fight and some of you are feeling very, very stressed. But at this moment it feels as if that has all melted away.
And I'd like you all to replenish all of your stress and all of your hit points as you are feeling much more healed within this meadow.
The. The small. The small little orange dragon sort of flits between the lot of you, sort of checking, smiling, nodding its head. It's not speaking, it's just sort of flitting between the lot of you, smiling, nodding, making sort of like a affirming little buzzes and purrs as it then sort of follows up through this, through the. What seems to be the only exit out of this meadow to sort of like this purple sort of haze that these. You can see these orange flowers sort of like move, move towards and out of sight.
What would you like to do?
[01:44:56] Speaker C: I think Pally will sit up and ask if everyone is okay.
How are we even here?
Is everyone all right?
[01:45:09] Speaker B: Where even is here? And.
Does Lucretia recognize the flowers?
Does this meadow look.
Does it have standard sort of flora that she'd be used to or.
[01:45:27] Speaker A: I mean, anyone who wants to roll me a knowledge check,
[01:45:32] Speaker B: may I have experience for my love of the natural world?
[01:45:36] Speaker A: Of course.
[01:45:37] Speaker D: Can I add it for forest leaving?
[01:45:39] Speaker A: Of course, yes.
[01:45:43] Speaker D: I have one hope
[01:45:48] Speaker B: 16 with fear.
[01:45:50] Speaker A: Okay, so Virgil, you. You definitely sort of struggle. You're probably still feeling a little bit like hazy from what just happened. As you. As you're still trying to focus and maybe your mind is more focused on Brother Talons at the moment to make sure that he is. He's okay, but he seems to just sort of ruffle his feathers. Like the whole thing's been a massive inconvenience for him.
Lucretia, you.
You. You've noticed that you. These flowers before. You can probably definitely tell these flowers. You've. It's been a while since you've seen them.
Like you've probably not seen any sort of flowers like this definitely since the eschaton.
And you've never seen them orange like this vibrance of an orange before.
It's definitely an unnatural hue for these type of flowers. What would the name of these flowers be, do you think?
[01:46:50] Speaker B: Asteris Minor.
[01:46:51] Speaker A: Aristarus Minor. Yeah. With these Aristas Minor, they are usually more of a sort of like a paler white A sort of pale pinky sort of white. So you've never seen them this, this vibrant of an orange before.
[01:47:09] Speaker B: Okay.
Gosh.
So something is, something is up. We're in a small magical meadow apparently with weird unnaturally colored flowers.
[01:47:22] Speaker F: So the entire out we can't. Is it just darkness? When you say darkness, does it feel
[01:47:28] Speaker B: like there's nothing beyond? It's just like an unnatural wall of darkness around us.
[01:47:33] Speaker A: It definitely feels as like Bo is. You sort of like approach the, this border and sort of put your hand onto it. You start getting that feeling of, of dread that you sort of felt as the children were around you and you kind of back off and feel like this is probably not the best way to go.
[01:47:54] Speaker F: Well, I don't like this one little bit.
[01:47:58] Speaker E: Is the little kind of orange scaled dragon ling me?
No, the other one, the cute one is that you described. There was a little orange dragon just kind of buzzing around. Is, is that.
Is it still here or is it kind of vanished through the.
[01:48:18] Speaker A: It's. It's vanished through the, the purple, the purple sort of like light that is at this small end of this, of this meadow.
[01:48:28] Speaker E: And presumably if we look up it's just like. There's no like stars or sky above. It's just the same.
[01:48:35] Speaker A: It's just the same inky void.
Yeah.
[01:48:44] Speaker E: I'm going to come out bare form cuz this seems more like man duties.
I will look around.
Pally's obviously already asked how everyone is.
Who, who's striking me as being the one who needs kind of help up like a helping hand up most.
Virgil, are you like you're, you're cradling a, a large owl the size of your torso.
[01:49:20] Speaker D: He's old but also he's got full hit points. So.
[01:49:24] Speaker E: Fair.
[01:49:25] Speaker F: Yeah, we're all fine.
[01:49:26] Speaker A: Yeah, we're good.
[01:49:31] Speaker E: Is there still the taste of the ichor in my mouth?
[01:49:36] Speaker A: No, the ichor has, has gone go.
[01:49:46] Speaker E: I'm not exactly sure what those things were, but I do not feel their presence here.
Me and says sort of like gesturing in the small area around us and then turning sort to look over his shoulder. There's this sort like purple, pinkish purple like doorway of sorts.
[01:50:10] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[01:50:14] Speaker E: I, yeah. I look at the, the purple door and then look back to the others.
If we had a choice. I think it's already been made for us.
[01:50:32] Speaker C: Shall we see?
[01:50:37] Speaker B: Just hold on a moment. And I think for what it's worth, Lucretia has a spell called Reveal where if there is anything magically hidden within close range, the Role would succeed against it is revealed.
So I guess my intention with the spell would be to see is there. Can we see anything through this, this darkness? Is this true truly? Are we in some kind of pocket dimension with only one option out? Or is there. Are there things hidden around us perhaps? I just want to see if I can shed any light on the nature of this small area we found ourselves in.
[01:51:15] Speaker A: What I would say is before you cast this spell, the, the.
The. The small dragon, the small little dragon creature that sort of like flitted in and out and probably more Murden saw more interaction with sort of like flitters back in and sort of like looks at you and sort of kind of looks at the lot of you. Does a little sort of like happy little twirl in the air and then flips back in through the portal again.
[01:51:49] Speaker B: It looks like he wants us to go with him.
[01:51:58] Speaker E: Maiden doesn't like following in the footsteps of dragons, but it will take a big breath, a big huff and step in towards the pinky glow.
[01:52:12] Speaker A: Pinky glow. So as the.
The four of you, you see mad and so of like sort of step into this pinky glow and sort of just go out of existence from this area.
Is anyone going to follow him?
[01:52:27] Speaker B: Oh, Lucia's 100% following.
[01:52:31] Speaker F: Let's go.
[01:52:32] Speaker C: Yep.
[01:52:33] Speaker A: So as the, the four of you see, Muren as he, as he takes in, Lucretia, you following in after him, Beau, you taking the next step, Virgil and brother Talons following on and Pally, you sort of like taking like a look back.
Like looking at these flowers and being in this void, not being able to see any starry sky.
Like you kind of feel like that should put something inside you that should put more dread inside you. But you can't help but but feel that this meadow wants you to know that this is okay. That this is where you are as safe as you also. Then take the step through this purple haze.
And we'll find out where you reappear next time.
[01:53:37] Speaker F: Wow.
