Episode Transcript
[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hello everyone and welcome to the Explorers of Elsewhere. Tales from Elsewhere Sanctuary episode 20 part 2. This is the final episode of Sanctuary and the five of you and Brother Talons have now found yourself up against the creator of Sanctuary, one who calls herself Queen Blessing.
Before we start, we obviously have to do our little admin rounds, so if you are new to the channel, if this is your first time watching us, then you're a little bit too far ahead. There's about 22 episodes before this do go back through our catalog. But there's not just Sanctuary as well. There is, we've got dnd, we've got Blades in the Dark, we've got more dagger heart from Campaign 3 last year and right currently at this moment we are now starting our campaign for our campaign for the year Imperium, which is part which is using the Fabula Ultima setting and is obviously run by the the beautiful DM Dan.
But if you do enjoy what we've got, why not give us a like and give us a sub? If you're following on Twitch, why not give us a follow on there as well? We stream live every Monday at 7:30 UK time, both on YouTube and on Twitch and that's a hell of a lot of fun getting the ch get talking to us and see the the new systems that are coming out at the moment.
If you are a member, we did want to say obviously there's probably not going to be an episode pre released after this one because because there's no more. But there will be other campaigns in the future which you'll be able to watch and hopefully will get released for members first.
But a really big thank you to all of our members who who gave us a little bit of their cash and watched and supported us through this. It really means a lot, especially to me. I can't speak for the others, but it meant a lot to me with commenting and liking and watching along.
So thank you so much for all of that. Really, really appreciate it. And also to those who follow us on Patreon as well, like a really big thank you if you've been following along.
As I said, if you are not a member, we release episodes early for members. So for the whole of Sanctuary we've been releasing an episode a week ahead for our members and we'll probably be doing that for the future with other campaigns.
So if that does interest you, or if there's a campaign that comes up and you're like, oh, I'd really actually like to see the next episode, it will be released early for our members. So please do give that a watch. It's only a couple of quid a month and we really do appreciate it because it keeps the channel ticking along.
Other things you can do to support us, there's affiliate link down in the description below that is to drive through rpg. If you're enjoying Dagger Heart and you want to purchase it yourself, you can get that down below. And that will also include the relatively new new not at this time, but sometime in August, the new Fear and Hope expansion which comes out fairly soon and it doesn't cost you any extra. It just gives us a little bit of a kickback which we really, really appreciate. If money is not great at the moment, completely understand.
You can join our Discord. Our Discord is absolutely free. Again, the link is in the description below where you can have a chat with us. Chat about the systems that we're running, chat about past systems, chat about systems you'd like to see on the channel, chat about the characters. We share art, we share theories and all sorts. So give us a join.
[00:03:34] Speaker B: It's.
[00:03:35] Speaker A: It's a lot of fun as well. Might as well.
Other things on the channel. We've got some DM Dan plays We've currently been playing Komodachi Life and I'm sure there'll be more things coming up in the future, but besides from that
[00:03:50] Speaker B: horrors going on on those islands.
[00:03:56] Speaker A: That's all the admin out of the way. Let me say hello for the final time because I'm going to murder them all after this.
[00:04:03] Speaker B: No.
[00:04:07] Speaker A: In game.
In game.
No. Say one more last time to my fabulous players. Hello, Julia.
[00:04:14] Speaker C: Hello.
[00:04:15] Speaker A: Hello, Theo.
[00:04:17] Speaker D: Hello.
[00:04:17] Speaker A: Hello, Georgia.
[00:04:19] Speaker D: Hello.
[00:04:20] Speaker A: Hello, Livy.
[00:04:21] Speaker C: Hello.
[00:04:22] Speaker A: And hello Dan.
[00:04:24] Speaker C: Hello.
[00:04:24] Speaker B: And hello Daisy.
[00:04:26] Speaker A: And hello Daisy.
Reoccurring back on the channel again.
So, yeah, this is the last time that Dan's ever going to be able to be a player anymore. So pour one out for the homies
[00:04:39] Speaker C: ever again.
[00:04:41] Speaker A: Ever again. He's now back to his forever DM status.
[00:04:45] Speaker B: Back into his DM box that we keep him locked in.
[00:04:48] Speaker A: Yeah,
[00:04:51] Speaker E: yeah.
[00:04:52] Speaker A: So without further ado, let's run that intro.
[00:05:13] Speaker B: Hello, I'm julia and I play lucretia, a lorevar wizard.
[00:05:19] Speaker D: Hi, my name is theo and I'll be playing pally a wolf, kim seraphim.
[00:05:25] Speaker F: Hi, I'm georgia and I'll be playing vergil, a sanguivar ranger.
[00:05:32] Speaker E: Hi, my name is dm dan and I'm playing myrdden, a wolfkin guardian druid.
[00:05:38] Speaker C: Hi, I'm livy and I'll be playing beau, the dragonsent warrior.
[00:05:45] Speaker A: And my name is nate and I'll be the gm for this adventure.
The five of you have found yourself floating in a starry galaxy void.
The castle, despite the fact that it wasn't completely corporeal at the time you were in it, has now faded away. The Princess Rejoice, or the younger version of Princess Rejoice, who you went to go and rescue, has now faded away out of existence.
And in front of you stands a large.
A large crackling with mana woman who has announced herself Divvy, who has announced herself as queen Blessing.
She has offered you an ultimatum. She has offered you whether or not you want to be one with Sanctuary. As in, you join her, you allow her to continue running Sanctuary and to the possibility even expand Sanctuary into elsewhere or that she takes your powers by force.
Obviously you have chosen the first option.
While while she sort of mulls around with this. This cracking power that's around her, you do have now like a quick action. I'll allow you all a quick action to sort of bump bump potions, do quick actions.
Whatever you want to do. Let's go down the row. Let's go with Julia first.
[00:07:55] Speaker B: Right. Lucretia's holding on to a minor health potion. I'm going to crack that bad boy out right. Right away because I've. I'm on. I've taken three hits and I would like to have taken as few hits as possible.
So let's see.
[00:08:13] Speaker C: Four off.
[00:08:14] Speaker B: I am healed.
Okay. Lovely.
[00:08:19] Speaker A: Pally.
[00:08:21] Speaker D: I would like to re roll my prayer dice.
[00:08:25] Speaker A: Go for it.
[00:08:26] Speaker D: My last time rolling that dice. Big money, Big money.
That was not the first roll, but I can.
So yeah, I can roll. How do I do that again? I wish.
[00:08:48] Speaker A: Yeah. I think you just rolled a D4.
Nice, nice, nice.
[00:08:53] Speaker D: Cool. So that will give me l swag. 4, 2, 2, 1. And then I'm going to just down my minor summer potion that I've got.
And now I only. So that's one stress. Somehow I only have two stress.
[00:09:16] Speaker A: Fantastic.
[00:09:19] Speaker D: That's it for me.
[00:09:20] Speaker A: Virgil, what would you like to do?
[00:09:23] Speaker F: Virgil would like to down a healing potion, please.
He's hard. Three hit points.
It's a minor healing potion, so that is something I can just click.
No, it isn't.
Oh, there it is.
Nope. I think I'm just gonna have to roll a D4.
[00:09:43] Speaker A: Yeah. Go.
[00:09:48] Speaker F: Two.
Two.
There we go.
[00:09:55] Speaker B: There you go.
[00:09:56] Speaker A: Bo, what would you like to do next?
[00:10:06] Speaker C: So I can do quickly do a battle ritual, which I do once per long rest, which means That I get this one.
I get to clear two stress and gain two hope. I'm coming up against something incredibly dangerous or a phone that clearly outmatches me.
So he's gonna dual wield. He's gonna have minus stamina potion in one hand. He's gonna have a bottle of whiskey in the other, and he's gonna double down.
He's gonna clear two stress, gain two hope.
[00:10:50] Speaker B: Very good.
[00:10:52] Speaker C: Get rid of two more stress. That's the four stress down to hope up.
Nice.
Nice.
[00:11:03] Speaker A: And finally, Maiden
[00:11:06] Speaker E: Mirden is going to seeing this honking great mother.
He's gonna grab the amulet from around his neck, close his eyes, and it almost seems like he's like muttering something.
This is effectively a minor stamina potion as he begins to like center himself.
No, it didn't work.
[00:11:32] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:11:34] Speaker E: And I'm gonna clear three stress.
I'm slightly less buffed and.
Yeah, I think that's. I think that's it.
[00:11:45] Speaker A: That's it.
So while the. While the five of you have been downing potions, getting yourself ready for this inevitable fight, Queen Blessing has been swirling around some magic between her hands as well. And with spending two fear, I'm going to summon two shadow swords that sort of appear in her hands.
[00:12:13] Speaker B: No and no thank you.
[00:12:16] Speaker A: She is going to command each one of them to sort of make a blow at sort of like the first person that's close to them.
So hovering in the air, this first shadow sword. Here, let me put them into combat.
There we go.
Do you like my theme music? It's good.
[00:12:42] Speaker C: There we go.
[00:12:44] Speaker A: So the first one here is going to spend a fear for him to have an attack. Attack.
He is going to come for you. Bow. And he is going to make a slash at you.
[00:13:09] Speaker B: Oh, there's a.
[00:13:10] Speaker A: There's a 16 hit.
[00:13:15] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:13:15] Speaker A: 16 hit. Yes.
[00:13:18] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:13:22] Speaker A: So he is gonna take three D8 and so he's gonna. He's gonna probably. While you've had like both of these, like a potion and a whiskey sort of like in your mouth, you haven't realized that these Shadow swords have started coming at you. And this one is going to take a slash at you and it does 18 points of damage.
[00:13:44] Speaker C: Oh, wait a minute.
[00:13:48] Speaker A: Wait, wait a minute.
[00:13:50] Speaker C: Wait a minute. Well, yeah, it will be that trying to work out.
So one of my things isn't opening this in the chat for a second so I can read it.
Fails. Never mind.
Yes. Okay. You can take an armor from me.
Okay.
[00:14:24] Speaker A: Fantastic.
And the other Shadow sword over in the corner is going to come up to. Is Going to float over to Meen and also do the same. He's going to take a little slashy slashy at you.
Nineteen,
[00:14:49] Speaker E: sure. Yeah.
[00:14:51] Speaker F: Starting off,
[00:14:54] Speaker E: that's 10 over my evasion. Yeah.
[00:14:56] Speaker D: Crack on.
[00:14:59] Speaker A: And he's going to do again. 18.
Physical damage to you.
[00:15:04] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:15:06] Speaker C: As.
[00:15:08] Speaker E: As it strikes me and I'm still sort of like in a meditative state, I'm gonna go ahead and.
Because that's minor damage. Right.
But I'm gonna go ahead and roll 3D6.
[00:15:27] Speaker A: Oh, he's getting those six in now.
[00:15:29] Speaker E: And there's a six in there. So as this slash kind of cuts across the cheek. Miriam's head just turns like is whipped away. And then he turns back and it knits itself closed
[00:15:43] Speaker A: just out of pure rage.
[00:15:45] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:15:46] Speaker E: And his eye slowly opens.
[00:15:53] Speaker A: Okay. And with those two, I am allowing for whoever wants to go back go first. I've got Lucretia.
[00:16:00] Speaker B: Yeah.
I just wanted to get in early doors and get a sigil of retribution on her, to be honest.
[00:16:06] Speaker D: Sure.
[00:16:06] Speaker B: Because as soon as she starts doing damage to us, I'm gonna be racking up those D8s. So I'm assuming it has to be within what. Let's just double check what the range of this bad boy is she.
[00:16:18] Speaker F: Far range.
[00:16:20] Speaker B: Now her face is beyond far range. I understand, but her torso.
[00:16:27] Speaker A: Yeah. So you are never more than far range from anywhere.
[00:16:30] Speaker B: Oh, fine, fine. Yes. Okay then. So you get a fear.
[00:16:35] Speaker A: Oh, Yanks.
[00:16:37] Speaker B: The low, low price of a fear. I'm putting a sigil of retribution on her face.
Fantastic. So that means. Let me see if I can. I can get it up. Here we go. Sigil of retribution. It goes on the thingy.
What was the thing I pressed to select her T? T.
Okay.
[00:17:00] Speaker D: Mark.
[00:17:01] Speaker B: Haha.
I don't know.
I don't know how to do it. I don't understand. Foundry Close enough.
[00:17:10] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:17:11] Speaker B: She's. She's. She's sigilled good and proper.
Anything Elysia probably going to call over to. To Pali.
We. We must try to reason with her whenever we get the chance.
You're the best of us at this, Pali. Remember what Rejoice said, that it's. We need to appeal to her humanity. It's about letting Rejoice go her own way.
[00:17:42] Speaker D: Okay, I'll try.
[00:17:44] Speaker B: I believe in you, Paliar.
[00:17:47] Speaker D: Thanks.
He's such an absolute man.
[00:17:56] Speaker A: And that's. That's it? That's it.
Mid. And before you go, Virgil, did you want to do anything?
[00:18:03] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:18:03] Speaker F: Can I do know thy enemy?
[00:18:05] Speaker A: Of course.
[00:18:06] Speaker F: Give that A little cheeky roll, Witch. That is an instinct roll.
There's nothing I can attach to it. Nope.
Absolutely nothing. Go, buddy, go.
Oh, no, boy,
[00:18:25] Speaker A: I learned nothing.
Unfortunately, a 10 with fear doesn't reach her, unfortunately. And with.
With that fear, I'm gonna let Lady Blessing, Queen Blessing, take her go.
She can feel some sort of like. She can feel some sort of investigation that's sort of like happening in her steeds and she is not. She is not looking. She's not looking particularly pleased with you eyeballing her face.
She is going to look down at you, Virgil, and cast. Join my madness.
[00:19:07] Speaker B: Well, no.
[00:19:08] Speaker A: So I spend a fear to do that.
[00:19:12] Speaker B: Oh, dear.
[00:19:13] Speaker A: So, Virgil, I'm. You are now, actually. No, you're not. You need to. Could you give me a knowledge reaction roll, please?
[00:19:21] Speaker F: Sure.
Oh, that's what I could have done.
That's what the eyeballing role might have been.
[00:19:34] Speaker A: 22 seconds.
[00:19:35] Speaker B: Very good.
[00:19:36] Speaker A: 24 of hope. Fantastic. Yeah, you.
While you are concentrating on Lady Blessing, you've noticed that you can feel these sort of shadows all around you. So start sort of picking up, but you're just like, no, no, no, no, this doesn't. This doesn't make sense. And you sort of shake that madness that she's trying to cast upon you, and you are not affected with that murder.
[00:20:07] Speaker E: Okay, so I'm going to.
So I've just kind of opened my eyes and looked at this shadow creature.
That was a mistake.
And I will.
I will adopt the form of the beast.
[00:20:26] Speaker B: Oh, dear.
[00:20:28] Speaker E: So I begin to transform. However, this time around, it lends. So this time as I drop to sort of like all fours, the glow that emanates from. From the bear is a lot more sort of like orangey, a lot more kind of amber golden.
The left eye is visibly glowing and the spiral, like, marking across my flank, it goes from sort of like the eye all the way down to the back leg rather than just over the shoulder.
There seem to be sort of like almost branches or twigs with leaves kind of sprouting and intertwined with the mane that runs from the top of his head down his spine and off the back of everything that's happened, like.
And having spoken to Princess Rejoice, Mirden appears to have achieved some sort of balance, a mastery of his fury and his guardianship.
Ignore that role, and as he turns into this bear and lets out a rattling, he will smack this shadow creature from whence it came.
I've got no hope, so I'm just gonna rule dog it.
I. I'll Tell you what, body basher is plus four. So I had plus four damage. Okay, so that is a 21 with fear.
[00:22:17] Speaker A: 21 with fear does hit.
[00:22:20] Speaker E: Okay. And a plus four because I'm gonna body bash.
[00:22:27] Speaker F: And.
[00:22:28] Speaker E: And you know what? I'm going to.
I'm gonna rage.
Let's put another eight in there.
Okay, so I slashed this thing for 34 damage.
[00:22:49] Speaker A: Well, 34 damage.
34 damage is major damage.
So he will take.
You take two points of his hp.
[00:23:01] Speaker B: Very good, Very good.
[00:23:03] Speaker E: And then we shall find out if I am bothed because I've just spent three stress.
By1.
I am one third less bobbed.
[00:23:22] Speaker B: Yay.
[00:23:22] Speaker A: Because you're.
Because the. The Shadow Sword has taken damage. He's going to do a retaliation. Oh, and he is going to attack you.
[00:23:38] Speaker F: 14.
[00:23:39] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah.
[00:23:42] Speaker E: If it's double digits.
[00:23:43] Speaker A: aesivar enough, Fair enough.
One, two, three.
One, two, three.
He's gonna hit you for 14 points of damage. Oh, in retaliation to your attack.
[00:23:58] Speaker E: Points of damage, eh?
Okay, well, that is minor.
So I shall.
Oh, well. Unyielding armor triggers.
So I'll pop that in there and let me roll.
3D6.
Oh, no. 3D6. And.
Okay, so I do take the damage, however.
[00:24:30] Speaker A: What's that?
[00:24:31] Speaker E: You're retaliating against my attack. Well, it's.
I shall retaliate against your retaliation.
And the brambles in my fur. Deal. Six magic damage.
[00:24:47] Speaker A: Six managed. Alex, that is a little minor, but that is still damage fun. Okay, well, he's gonna. He's gonna go.
[00:24:59] Speaker D: Ow.
[00:25:00] Speaker B: No, he's on.
[00:25:05] Speaker A: He's going to. He's going to sort of flinch back from this pain because your original role was with a fear.
I am going to spend a fear to activate to spotlight our queen here.
[00:25:21] Speaker B: Oh, no.
[00:25:24] Speaker A: She is going to. I'm not going to pop this in the chat yet, but she is going to start a countdown.
[00:25:35] Speaker B: Oh, no. Oh, don't like that.
[00:25:41] Speaker D: Like those countdowns. Don't like that.
[00:25:44] Speaker B: The countdown to hugs.
[00:25:46] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:25:47] Speaker D: If only that was what it would be.
[00:25:50] Speaker B: Full resolution.
[00:25:56] Speaker A: There we go.
Cool. Concentrated mana. Can you all see that?
[00:26:01] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:26:02] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:26:03] Speaker A: And that is gonna be Ergo.
[00:26:08] Speaker B: Don't like it.
[00:26:11] Speaker A: And from that, see, if we got on the list, we've got Pally and Bo. Who clicked first?
[00:26:18] Speaker D: I think it was said to be me, but Bo, you can go first.
[00:26:21] Speaker C: Oh, what? Who are you thinking of?
[00:26:25] Speaker D: I'm going to appeal to Queen Blessing Nature.
[00:26:29] Speaker C: I won't tag team with the appealing. Just got. I've got hope coming up the wazoo and I just want to get rid of it.
[00:26:34] Speaker B: Yeah, me too. I actually want to get rid of some hope. So I could tag team with you both if you wish.
[00:26:38] Speaker F: You could always do the tag team and then attempt to talk her down.
Sure. We mean business.
[00:26:43] Speaker C: We can chew her. Be like, maybe you shouldn't.
[00:26:47] Speaker D: Cool. You're happy. I'm happy if you guys tag team first.
If you'd like.
[00:26:53] Speaker B: Do you want to back in? Do you want to do something nasty to this Shadow Sword bow?
[00:26:59] Speaker C: Yeah. I mean, well, it'll probably be because of. Oh, no. It was like that in Daggerheart. I think I can shoot point blank and I still get just as much. Yeah. So I might as well shoot the one next to me.
[00:27:11] Speaker B: Yeah. You can move away from him slightly. You can then move back a little bit. Surely.
[00:27:15] Speaker C: I could move.
[00:27:16] Speaker B: Just step back.
Just move a little bit back there and go.
Yeah, just be like, oh, shoot him a minute and then shoot him.
[00:27:26] Speaker D: Just back up a bit.
[00:27:27] Speaker B: And I'm going to. I'm going to imbue your gun with a bit of ice magic. Why not? I'm going to cast ice Spike
[00:27:34] Speaker C: that Nathan. Double, double team it.
[00:27:38] Speaker B: Yeah.
Roll
[00:27:44] Speaker C: the thing.
[00:27:48] Speaker B: I shall. Yeah, I shall do a knowledge roll for my ice Spike. Because it's a spell cast roll.
[00:27:59] Speaker C: Not great.
[00:28:00] Speaker A: Okay, so you've got a 14 with hope. I got 23 with hope.
[00:28:05] Speaker B: 23 with hope. I wonder which we should go with with.
Go with the 23.
Yeah, let's go with the 23.
[00:28:16] Speaker C: That hit.
[00:28:19] Speaker A: That is a hit to 23 with hope is a fit.
[00:28:22] Speaker B: So what do we do now?
[00:28:25] Speaker C: We just both roll for damage.
[00:28:26] Speaker A: Roll for damage.
[00:28:27] Speaker B: Yeah, Roll for damage. Okay, I shall roll.
[00:28:32] Speaker E: And you're both trying to hope.
[00:28:34] Speaker B: Wait a minute. Tell you what, I did it wrong.
My ice Spike. Let me. Let me just.
I didn't actually use the spell. Apologies for that ice Spike.
Sorry.
[00:28:53] Speaker A: It's okay.
[00:28:56] Speaker B: There we go.
I might need to just roll it again. But we'll ignore the to roll. It'll just be for damage. Is that okay?
[00:29:04] Speaker A: Yeah, that's fine. For damage.
Oh, no. I mean, do you want to take that crit? No, no. You said previously you want to take that roll.
[00:29:13] Speaker C: That was our roll. That was our roll.
[00:29:17] Speaker B: Was that our roll?
[00:29:18] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:29:20] Speaker B: Sorry.
Was not meant. Didn't mean to do that on the one that didn't count, but. Yes, but 10 is also my strange patterns duality roll. So I would have also cleared. Cleared a stress and gained a hope if that had been it.
[00:29:39] Speaker A: You might need to just roll that again because if it's a crit with the damage. It's gonna add the automatically roll the damage.
[00:29:46] Speaker B: Or we could just use the crit.
[00:29:50] Speaker C: No.
[00:29:51] Speaker A: You've already said.
[00:29:53] Speaker C: I just feel like it's almost like
[00:29:55] Speaker B: we such a spoils bought. Right. That's better. That's closer to what it was originally.
[00:30:00] Speaker A: That's closer.
[00:30:01] Speaker B: So I can't see.
[00:30:02] Speaker A: You can have a 20 with hope.
[00:30:03] Speaker B: I can't see the inflict damage option for that. But I guess I just have to roll 3D6 anyway.
[00:30:11] Speaker E: Just roll 3D6.
[00:30:13] Speaker B: Okay. Let's do that.
[00:30:15] Speaker F: Four.
[00:30:15] Speaker B: Three and two is in nine.
That's pretty.
But then we're tag teaming. So what does that do?
[00:30:25] Speaker A: That adds on the 19 that Livy has also.
[00:30:28] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:30:29] Speaker A: And he's also done so.
[00:30:30] Speaker F: Yes.
[00:30:30] Speaker A: That's 28.
[00:30:32] Speaker B: Okay.
Yes.
[00:30:35] Speaker A: 28 on a success deal. C D 6. Physical damage to your proficiency. What is your proficiency?
[00:30:40] Speaker E: 3.
[00:30:41] Speaker A: 3. Okay. Yes. So. And you did rob 3. Okay. Yep. That is a 28. Which is minor damage.
[00:30:50] Speaker B: Okay.
Just remind me what we have to spend to do. Attack team each or no.
[00:30:59] Speaker A: Just one of you.
[00:31:00] Speaker C: So I think you.
You already spent.
[00:31:03] Speaker B: I've spent three. Hope so.
[00:31:06] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:31:06] Speaker B: I can now.
[00:31:08] Speaker E: You gain one to two.
[00:31:09] Speaker C: You roll with hope but you gain one back.
[00:31:10] Speaker B: What's that?
[00:31:12] Speaker A: Game one.
[00:31:13] Speaker B: Oh.
[00:31:13] Speaker A: You gain one of your hoes back.
[00:31:15] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:31:15] Speaker B: Thank you. Thank you. Perfect.
Hooray.
[00:31:20] Speaker A: Anything else?
[00:31:21] Speaker B: No. I'm just going to move back a little bit. Just get out of the way.
[00:31:24] Speaker C: Really.
[00:31:25] Speaker A: Bo.
[00:31:25] Speaker F: Bo.
[00:31:26] Speaker A: Anything else?
[00:31:28] Speaker C: No, I'm good. I've moved down with the creature.
[00:31:31] Speaker A: Okie dokie.
Pally, you're up next.
[00:31:36] Speaker F: Hey.
[00:31:36] Speaker D: Hey. Okay. First things first. I'm going to spend one of my paradise to give me another hope.
Hey.
And I'm going to appeal to Queen. Queen Blessing. We haven't officially attacked her yet. We've been attacking the spell swords.
[00:31:57] Speaker A: You've attacked her now.
[00:32:00] Speaker D: We've attacked her now.
[00:32:01] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:32:01] Speaker A: You've attacked her now.
I thought you two attacked her.
[00:32:08] Speaker B: The Shadow Sword.
[00:32:10] Speaker A: Oh, my bad. My bad. Oh my bad.
[00:32:12] Speaker B: Is it still minor damage? Minor damage on the Shadow sword.
[00:32:17] Speaker A: Let's take a look.
[00:32:19] Speaker B: Yeah. What was it?
[00:32:20] Speaker A: 28 it is.
Major damage. Hey.
[00:32:25] Speaker B: Love it.
[00:32:26] Speaker E: Love. Okay.
[00:32:27] Speaker A: Okay. Sorry about that. My bad. My bad. Go pal. Go.
[00:32:30] Speaker D: This. This just helps narratively to know that we haven't actually full on shot her in the face yet. We've tried to like figure stuff out but just like. Okay. Right. So I think Pally will summon as much of his courage as possible after hearing what Lucretia Was saying about trying to appeal to her. And he will like move. Move forward and be like. Your majesty, I am Pali, son of Padia of the Renengar Skyforce who did serve your house during the War of Dragons.
All we wish to do is to honor what your daughter has asked of us. Just to allow her to make her own choice. And the same with everyone in sanctuary.
If I have to fight, fight you I will.
For her sake, I will.
I will fight for. Rejoice by mass the way that my father fought for you.
And yeah, I'm gonna see if that works.
[00:33:36] Speaker A: And because of the. The speech that you've done, you can add an advantage to that.
[00:33:41] Speaker D: Nice.
So that's in presence, right?
[00:33:46] Speaker A: That would be presence. Please.
[00:33:48] Speaker D: Presence. So with advantage. And I'm going to use a hope.
Trust me and see if I can do anything.
Such a bad one.
[00:34:05] Speaker A: 12 of hope.
So yes, you get that. Obviously you get a hope back with that.
[00:34:12] Speaker D: But can I try to roll that again by spending a hope is that I can't remember if there's a rule for that.
[00:34:18] Speaker A: Don't think there is.
[00:34:19] Speaker B: There's a. The reassurance ability Elysia you to grant
[00:34:24] Speaker D: somebody another turn at something I couldn't remember. That's all right. No worries. I'll take that.
[00:34:29] Speaker A: Yeah. Unfortunately, pally, that falls on. On deaf ears, I'm afraid.
She. She sort of. She looks down at you.
It's almost just like.
It's almost just like she is now such enthralled in this. In this magic that she can't comprehend anything that you're saying at the moment.
But that is not. But that is not saying that she. She cannot hear you. That she has taken notice of something that you've said. But she's just not. It's just obviously the. Not hitter in a way.
[00:35:08] Speaker F: Because.
[00:35:09] Speaker A: Because you've. Because you failed that role. I am going to spend a fear and I will spend another fear to.
To activate her. Join my madness again against you, pally.
Because she's noticed you trying to talk to her.
This insolent web.
This insolent pup trying to tell her what to do.
Yes. If you can give me a knowledge reaction roll, please.
[00:35:38] Speaker D: It's a reaction roll.
[00:35:43] Speaker C: Oh,
[00:35:46] Speaker A: it's a 19. A 19.
You. As you've been saying these words, you can feel this sort of wave of something come over you as kind of like through your.
Through your. Sort of like the side of your vision, sort of like in your. Your blind spots and things like that. You feel like there are shadows moving around you but as you turn to look around them, they're gone. You've been able to.
You've been able to avert away from her.
From her madness.
[00:36:15] Speaker B: What does that do anyway? Join my mad.
[00:36:22] Speaker A: Who would like to go next?
[00:36:23] Speaker F: Anyone around you, I think.
[00:36:24] Speaker B: Oh, it's not good.
[00:36:26] Speaker D: It's not good.
[00:36:27] Speaker B: You don't like it?
Okay.
[00:36:32] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:36:32] Speaker A: Who would like to go next?
[00:36:34] Speaker F: Can I go in with a attack?
[00:36:40] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:36:41] Speaker B: Who at?
[00:36:43] Speaker F: Big Lady.
[00:36:44] Speaker B: Big Lady.
[00:36:45] Speaker C: Yeah,
[00:36:52] Speaker F: He's gonna. He's gonna get his shot. Bow out.
He's gonna do a little o. No, he's not.
[00:37:00] Speaker A: He's like, oh, no.
[00:37:04] Speaker D: Big lady.
[00:37:06] Speaker C: So big.
[00:37:08] Speaker A: Yes. Unfortunately, your.
As much as you try, Virgil, I think just the immense sort of like gravitas of this situation just gets a little.
[00:37:18] Speaker F: Fumbling my shots just gets a little
[00:37:21] Speaker A: bit too much for you and you fumble your shot.
I will say that the. The timer does go down by one.
So I gain a fear.
[00:37:30] Speaker F: Can I send my bird?
[00:37:32] Speaker A: You can send your bird.
[00:37:34] Speaker F: Send my bird.
[00:37:35] Speaker A: Allow you to send your bird.
[00:37:36] Speaker F: Thank you.
Game.
[00:37:40] Speaker D: Game.
[00:37:46] Speaker B: Oh, no. Birdie bird.
I saw the twos and I went, oh, better luck next time.
[00:37:58] Speaker C: Come on.
[00:37:59] Speaker D: Well, I love this owl so much.
[00:38:02] Speaker B: Owl is crazy.
[00:38:04] Speaker E: Wait, it's 3D20 damage.
[00:38:06] Speaker F: It's.
[00:38:07] Speaker C: It is.
[00:38:07] Speaker B: It is.
[00:38:08] Speaker E: So this is 3D20 plus 60.
[00:38:11] Speaker B: Like a fireball in the form of an owl.
[00:38:17] Speaker D: I mean, as we've already said before, Virgil is Brother Talon's companion. Not the only way around.
[00:38:23] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:38:26] Speaker B: He's just gonna punch through Big Lady's forehead.
[00:38:32] Speaker A: Yeah, roll that.
[00:38:33] Speaker D: Get her in the eye, Talons. Roll that.
[00:38:35] Speaker A: Damage.
[00:38:36] Speaker F: Yeah, I do. Order. There we go.
[00:38:41] Speaker E: Oh my.
[00:38:43] Speaker A: 86. 86.
[00:38:45] Speaker B: Are you kidding?
[00:38:47] Speaker E: Why are we even here?
[00:38:51] Speaker C: Why are we all Brother Talent?
[00:38:55] Speaker A: Well, I will say that yes, yes, unfortunately, that is. Well, unfortunately for. For Queen Blessing, that is. That is severe damage.
[00:39:06] Speaker B: You need to send feedback to Darrington Press about this.
[00:39:10] Speaker C: Keep it. I love it.
[00:39:11] Speaker D: The best kind.
[00:39:14] Speaker B: Glowing feedback.
[00:39:21] Speaker A: Yes, that is. Brother Talent is gay.
[00:39:24] Speaker B: That'll get her attention.
[00:39:26] Speaker A: That will get her attention.
[00:39:28] Speaker E: Yes.
[00:39:28] Speaker A: She is not happy about that whatsoever.
[00:39:33] Speaker B: She.
[00:39:34] Speaker A: Because Virgil did roll with a fear, I will now highlight her.
[00:39:39] Speaker C: Go.
[00:39:40] Speaker A: I was just being nice. Allowing Brother Talons obviously bitter in the ass. Literally.
[00:39:47] Speaker B: Regret that, don't you?
[00:39:50] Speaker A: She is as she tries to swipe for this bird that's flying straight at her.
I am going to do relentless. Which means she does get four goes during this time.
So she's going to spend a fear.
[00:40:09] Speaker C: So he's gonna.
[00:40:11] Speaker A: Yeah, I have to spend a fear. For each of them.
So with this she is going to make an attack at Virgil as she tries to grab this bird.
Take it. A 7 doesn't quite hit it. Not quite quite. As. As Brother talons is sort of like swishing around her to make this hit, she's going to strike again. But this time it's going to be at Pal.
For that.
I take it that a 19 does hit.
[00:40:52] Speaker D: Oh yeah, it does. Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
[00:40:55] Speaker B: 22.
In fact.
[00:40:58] Speaker D: Am I in close range to our good friend.
[00:41:01] Speaker E: However, a bear gets in the way.
[00:41:04] Speaker A: Bear gets in the way.
[00:41:07] Speaker E: A bear who is buffed.
[00:41:12] Speaker A: And so instead of Pally taking that damage, murden will take 32 points of magic damage as she slashes her nails.
[00:41:26] Speaker E: 32, eh? Well that's major.
But my unyielding thingy.
Unyielding armor, that's now only minor damage.
[00:41:37] Speaker D: And you do traced us by one.
[00:41:39] Speaker E: Oh no, that's not. No, I'm just using the macro.
[00:41:45] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:41:45] Speaker E: I will spend one armor and I blank the other point of damage. So I only take.
I take no damage.
[00:41:54] Speaker A: Fair enough. Fair enough.
[00:41:56] Speaker B: And that's all. That's a mark on the sigil.
[00:41:59] Speaker A: There's a mark on the sigil. She is going to then spend another fear to make another attack.
If she wants to use her experience, it's a stress.
It's a fear. She's then going to spend another fear then and she's going to use her her experience of protect my world to add an extra five to that. That's a very cool experience to go against actually. Let's see if she wants to do something.
[00:42:31] Speaker E: Oh, sorry, Nate. As a quick aside as she grabs me, she's gonna take five magic damage.
[00:42:42] Speaker A: Five magic damage.
[00:42:43] Speaker E: That's the form.
Grab into prick into her hand.
[00:42:48] Speaker A: Okay, scratch that experience.
I am going to going with this. With this damage that's hitting her, she's going to spend that fear. I'll get that fear back that I took for that.
And she is going to cast join my madness onto Myrden.
[00:43:07] Speaker B: Oh, that's bad.
[00:43:08] Speaker A: If you could do me a knowledge reaction roll.
[00:43:16] Speaker E: I've got no hope for an experience.
Right. Good luck everyone.
Good luck.
Oh, it's all gone terribly wrong.
[00:43:27] Speaker B: Is that a fail?
[00:43:29] Speaker A: That is a fail.
[00:43:30] Speaker B: Okay, hold aside. Hold on a sec. How badly do we not want that to happen? Everybody, Big badge.
[00:43:35] Speaker D: Very big bad.
[00:43:36] Speaker B: Very big bad.
[00:43:37] Speaker D: Very big badge.
[00:43:39] Speaker B: Very big bad. Okay, very big bad. The thing I'm worried about is I have an ability. I have a reaction spell called repudiate. That Elysia me to basically cancel a magical effect.
So I could stop her in theory.
But I'm just worried there are even worse magical effects coming. And I can only do it once.
[00:44:03] Speaker C: What does.
What is?
[00:44:07] Speaker B: Yes, she's got control of murder now and Eagan. Because he's going to start attacking us.
[00:44:12] Speaker A: Yeah, basically I have to spend fear to get Murden to attack one of you. Or himself.
[00:44:20] Speaker D: Or himself.
[00:44:22] Speaker A: Or himself.
[00:44:23] Speaker B: It's not great. But then he might save on the next go.
[00:44:26] Speaker D: Yeah, he might save the next go. So it might only be one go.
[00:44:29] Speaker B: It might only be one go.
[00:44:31] Speaker F: Entangle. Entanglement. I can root him in place.
[00:44:36] Speaker C: Yeah, I've got a gun. We can just shoot. We can old yell at him.
[00:44:43] Speaker B: So am I saving my spell? Is. Is that what we're saying? I think you might worry there's something even worse coming.
[00:44:51] Speaker F: There's something coming at the end of that countdown that maybe.
[00:44:53] Speaker B: Oh yeah there is. I'm going to save it for that. Okay, fine.
[00:44:56] Speaker A: Okay, Maiden, as
[00:45:03] Speaker B: you've conference about it and we decided to leave you to your fate and ours.
[00:45:09] Speaker A: Apparently as you jumped in front of Palia and you.
And you take. And you take the scratches. You. You find yourself then finding Pally's visage just meld into one of these shadow swords.
And as it looks like he's about to attack. I will spend and my last fear on that. In her. In her Relentless. To activate you. Maiden, could you do an attack roll against Pally for me please?
[00:45:40] Speaker D: No, it's fine. It's fine. This is the best outcome out of all of us for you to attack me. Because I do have.
I do have quite good thresholds.
So I say this now.
It's okay.
[00:45:56] Speaker E: That's 24 with Hope, buddy.
[00:45:58] Speaker D: Yeah, he's gonna hit me.
[00:45:59] Speaker F: Okay.
[00:46:00] Speaker D: I expecting it to hit me. But I can deal. I can take some damage. It's fine.
[00:46:03] Speaker A: Okay, if you could you roll your damage now and then roll a D6 for me.
Not. Not as part of that damage.
[00:46:13] Speaker E: Okay, so body basher is gonna trigger. But I will attempt not to rage up.
That is 34. 4 damage.
[00:46:23] Speaker A: Okay. And if you could roll a D6 to.
[00:46:31] Speaker B: Do you have it?
[00:46:32] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:46:33] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm fine.
[00:46:33] Speaker B: What does your do you just use armor slots or.
[00:46:40] Speaker D: Yeah, I use one armor slot.
[00:46:42] Speaker B: Okay.
And does that count as queen Blessing damaging us? Nate, since you spent the fear to do it through Mirdin that.
[00:46:53] Speaker A: No that counts. Merden doing it.
[00:46:55] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:46:56] Speaker B: Just for my sigil.
[00:46:58] Speaker A: No, no, that's fair.
[00:46:59] Speaker E: That's fair.
[00:47:00] Speaker A: That's Fair.
But now, Mirdden, you can roll another knowledge reaction roll to see if you can clear this madness.
[00:47:07] Speaker E: Okay. Okay, we're gonna go react.
Oh, you look so tasty, Palia.
[00:47:18] Speaker A: Unfortunately, that's a nine.
[00:47:19] Speaker B: Unfortunately screwed.
[00:47:22] Speaker A: You are stuck there, Maiden. You can go if you want to, but you do have to do an attack on the nearest character in front of you, which unfortunately is pally.
[00:47:32] Speaker B: Why would you go?
[00:47:33] Speaker A: Okay, like, I can force pat. I can force Maiden to do it. But if Maiden wants to go and actually try and clear that thing, he does have to make an attack on someone first.
[00:47:45] Speaker D: It's okay. You can hit.
[00:47:46] Speaker C: Really rubbish Attack.
[00:47:49] Speaker D: Genuinely, it's okay. You can hit him.
[00:47:52] Speaker E: I'm just going to gently put my spotlight request hand down and allow someone else.
[00:48:00] Speaker F: Yeah.
[00:48:00] Speaker A: Does anyone want to take the spotlight next?
[00:48:02] Speaker E: Wow.
[00:48:04] Speaker C: I mean, ask. Shoot someone.
[00:48:08] Speaker B: Shoot someone. Go on.
[00:48:12] Speaker C: Is coming. He's already been attacked by this bastard. He knows. Yeah.
[00:48:16] Speaker E: I've only got six hit points left. That's all you need.
[00:48:21] Speaker C: No. Can I shoot?
Do we want to get rid of a sword or do we want.
[00:48:26] Speaker B: I can get rid of a sword.
[00:48:28] Speaker C: Can we get rid of a sword?
[00:48:29] Speaker B: If you try and get rid of a sword, I'll go next. And I'll also if. If he's not dead, I'll try and finish him.
[00:48:34] Speaker C: I would like to shoot shadow soul plays the one nearest to me.
[00:48:53] Speaker A: Yeah. So 21 with fear does hit, but it does also make countdown.
[00:49:01] Speaker B: Oh, wait. Oh, no. The fair. Fair brings the countdown down.
[00:49:04] Speaker C: No.
[00:49:07] Speaker A: So, yeah, roll them bones for damage.
Oh, that's nice. That's very nice. That is major damage.
Nice into that shadow sword.
[00:49:21] Speaker B: Very good.
[00:49:22] Speaker A: Sort of recoil back.
You did roll with fear.
That does mean. No, that does mean. Well, I might as well not click that up because I'm just going to click it down again. I'm going to activate this shadow sword to actually come up to you, Bo.
And it's going to. Is there anything I can do?
[00:49:45] Speaker C: No, You come up and then gonna go.
[00:49:54] Speaker A: No, he's just gonna do attack with his sharpened limbs.
[00:50:00] Speaker B: I mean, pointy arms.
[00:50:05] Speaker A: 17.
[00:50:06] Speaker C: Yeah, that hits.
[00:50:08] Speaker A: That hit is gonna be.
And this boy is going to spend one stress to make that direct damage.
[00:50:22] Speaker C: Direct what?
[00:50:28] Speaker B: Hold on.
That's probably not going to help.
[00:50:31] Speaker A: Hold on. Lucretia doesn't like that.
[00:50:33] Speaker B: Lucretia doesn't like it, but there's. There's not a lot she can do to. Yeah, don't like that. It's direct.
[00:50:42] Speaker E: Look how easily it carves through bow like a hot knife. Through butter.
[00:50:49] Speaker A: I've got Lucretia and Pali. Next up. Who would like to go next?
[00:50:52] Speaker B: I mean, I just want to shoot this guy. Just stab my friend Bo, frankly.
[00:50:56] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:50:57] Speaker A: Okay, Lucretia, next.
[00:50:58] Speaker B: Step back a little bit and do. Just do a basic shoot with my. With my great stuff, I reckon.
[00:51:05] Speaker A: Rooty Tootie, point and shooty.
[00:51:07] Speaker B: Can I use my wanders in the strange? Because these are very strange creatures that we've been wandering.
[00:51:11] Speaker A: This is a very strange situation.
[00:51:15] Speaker B: I'm gonna use.
I'm just gonna use a Hope to do it rather than my stress.
Oh. Oh, no. 17 with Hope. Is that enough?
[00:51:26] Speaker A: And that. That is against the Shadow Sword. Yeah.
[00:51:29] Speaker B: Shadow Sword. Yes, yes, yes.
[00:51:31] Speaker A: That does meets. It beats it.
[00:51:33] Speaker B: Oh, perfect.
Roll them bones.
17 damage, please.
[00:51:42] Speaker A: 17 damage? Yeah. As you shoot this Shadow Sword. That is unfortunately only minor damage, but that does. That does get him. And he is looking a little bit worse for wear at the moment. He is. You can see some big holes that are not quite forming back into his usual shape.
[00:51:59] Speaker B: Hell yeah.
[00:51:59] Speaker A: Big holes.
Anything else?
[00:52:03] Speaker B: Well, if I've shot him successfully, does that mean I can shoot him again?
[00:52:09] Speaker A: Yeah, if you're happy with allowing Lucretia.
[00:52:13] Speaker F: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:52:14] Speaker B: I'm just gonna shoot him again, basically. Again, shoot him again.
I won't bother with any special business.
It is only a 13 with hope.
I do not get him. Yes, I miss.
[00:52:26] Speaker A: Unfortunately, that misses. Yeah, fine.
With that, I will. I will pass over to Pali.
[00:52:35] Speaker D: Hi, Dan. Dan. Sorry, I'm so used to asking Dan DM questions. I apologize, Nate. I have Restoration.
We successfully use Restoration earlier to help our dragon friend. I still have two points. Points left. Can I use one or two of those points to try and restore Mirin so he doesn't attack anyone again?
[00:52:58] Speaker A: What does Restoration do again?
[00:53:00] Speaker D: Remind me. Put it in the chat.
Let me put it in the chat. I think it did. No, it did not. How do I do that?
Sake.
Don't let me put it in the chat. That's on the
[00:53:14] Speaker C: condition.
[00:53:15] Speaker D: So. So you can spend a token from this card when touching a creature to clear the vulnerable condition or heal a physical or magical ailment. The GM may require additional tokens depending on the stroke of the album.
So I'm happy to give those an al.
Yeah, but that's. It's. It's again, I'm just. I'm just spitballing here if you want to let me do it or not.
[00:53:39] Speaker A: I will say you can spend this on Maiden and that will allow him to make another knowledge roll. Another knowledge Reaction roll. How does that sound?
[00:53:50] Speaker D: Okay, cool. Just one.
[00:53:53] Speaker A: Just one.
[00:53:54] Speaker D: Okay, cool.
[00:53:54] Speaker A: I mean, you can spend it again, but again, maiden will have to do another knowledge reaction roll to clear it.
[00:54:00] Speaker D: Nice. Okay, I will.
Yeah, cool. I will make a note that I only have one left.
[00:54:07] Speaker A: Do a knowledge reaction roll.
15 unfortunately doesn't clear it, I'm afraid.
[00:54:21] Speaker E: Pray for me, pally. Pray for me.
[00:54:25] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:54:26] Speaker C: Yeah, you can put on that.
[00:54:29] Speaker D: That's true.
I do.
[00:54:32] Speaker F: Literally.
[00:54:32] Speaker E: Brave put me.
[00:54:36] Speaker D: Would. Would you like a D4 to roll on that?
I'd love just like a 4 there. 4.
[00:54:43] Speaker E: Just a 4 would be great. Yeah.
[00:54:45] Speaker B: A 4 would be great.
[00:54:45] Speaker D: Yeah, let's do that.
Take. Take my four.
[00:54:49] Speaker A: Making 19.
[00:54:50] Speaker E: 19 pass.
[00:54:51] Speaker A: And 19 does pass.
You feel these shadows. You should feel these shadows sort of wisp away from. From your senses as the. The welcoming and friendly face of paliar is sort of in your face. Looking slightly scratched up a bit.
[00:55:07] Speaker D: I feel like I've held out my hands to use restoration.
[00:55:11] Speaker A: Have you done the toothless how to train your dragon thing?
[00:55:15] Speaker B: Very good. Very good.
[00:55:17] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:55:17] Speaker E: It's either toothless or Chris Pratt.
[00:55:24] Speaker A: So, yes, that is successful. Successful. Is there anything else you would like to do, pally, now that murden is out of the madness?
[00:55:31] Speaker D: Yeah, you know what? I want to hit something because I feel like I'm missing out.
Do I hit mother or do I
[00:55:40] Speaker A: hit
[00:55:44] Speaker C: killed the one next to me very, very nearly.
[00:55:48] Speaker D: Tell you what, what I will do.
Wait, hang on. Hang on one second.
Just need to check distances.
Cool. Right. I'm going to swing my axe at the one close to both, but with the intention of using my spirit weapon so it spins rounds and hit the other one if it is successful.
So let's give that a go because I've got hope. I'm going to put trained since birth.
[00:56:27] Speaker A: Fantastic. Who's this against?
[00:56:29] Speaker D: This is against the one next to bow.
[00:56:31] Speaker B: The shadow one next to bow.
[00:56:32] Speaker A: Yeah, Yeah. I mean, a 29 with hope does hit.
[00:56:37] Speaker D: Nice. Okay, roll damage.
Rolling.
Course that's a 15 with hope.
[00:56:51] Speaker A: Yeah. 15 with damage is only minor damage, but he is definitely looking worse for where it looks like there should only be like one more hit that would be able to bring the shadow sword back away.
[00:57:02] Speaker D: And I'm just going to also add my spirit weapon.
So I will spend a stress which I've done.
And that means they also get target additional adversary within range of the same attack roll.
[00:57:21] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:57:22] Speaker D: So I want to hit the other one. So basically, as my axe comes around, swings at bow in a very like four from The Avengers way just like spins around, hits the one behind me, and then comes back into my hand.
Yeah.
[00:57:36] Speaker A: So this one, not looking as worse for wear as its companion, but also does take minor damage as well.
And because that was a hope. Is there anything else you'd like to do? Would you like to pass it on to someone Elysia.
[00:57:50] Speaker D: I think I'm pretty good with passing it on to somebody else in the list. Please.
[00:57:55] Speaker A: Maiden, you've got your hand up next.
[00:57:59] Speaker E: Okay, Maiden's going to. Having shaken this shadowy malaise, turns to look at the one of the two remaining shadows and with a raw, charges it.
And if anyone were to attack team, this would be a fantastic opportunity.
[00:58:20] Speaker C: Are you going melee range? I'm happy to attack team.
[00:58:26] Speaker E: Okay.
[00:58:27] Speaker C: Claw. I shoot. Hold him down.
[00:58:32] Speaker E: Okay. In which case I'm imagining that, yeah, me's gonna do his best to charge in, like grab this shadow. Shadow sword and effectively kind of fling it up into the air.
So that clay pigeon.
Yeah.
Okay. So I'm gonna.
I'm going to do an attack.
You know what? I'd love to roll with Hope.
The gods are listening.
Either or.
[00:59:09] Speaker A: They're all going to be good for you too.
[00:59:12] Speaker E: Either or.
Okay, well, I deal.
So I'm gonna. I'm gonna. You know what? I'm gonna.
You're gonna do a buttload of damage, aren't you?
[00:59:25] Speaker C: I am gonna do a bunch of damage.
[00:59:27] Speaker E: Okay. I'll just do standard bare butt attack.
[00:59:35] Speaker C: Here come the dice.
[00:59:40] Speaker E: 27 plus 25. So that's 50. 52 damage.
[00:59:44] Speaker A: 52 damage.
Severe damage, which does take this shadow sword right over the edge.
As Maiden, as you. As you. As you grab your teeth into this creature and you and the bullets flying from Bo's gun sort of shoot through it. It literally has no. No chance. And just.
Just dissipates into the ether.
[01:00:14] Speaker D: Yeah, baby.
[01:00:18] Speaker E: I'm happy to keep going because charge over to that guy and charge over.
Who knows who I'm going for? It's you or you or this thing.
While seeing this shadow sword attempting to sneak up on you.
Yeah. I will charge across roaring and gribbling and the polar opposite 22 of fear.
[01:00:48] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, with a 22 affair that
[01:00:50] Speaker E: does hit, say, okay, please subject yourself to this much damage.
22 damage.
[01:01:02] Speaker A: 22 damage. Yes. That just goes over the threshold into major damage. But it's not really needed as this creature again follows the same fate as its. As its brethren and dissipates into the ether.
[01:01:16] Speaker C: Taking it, like
[01:01:20] Speaker B: leaving.
[01:01:21] Speaker A: Leaving the. The six of you now with Just big Mommy Queen Blessing above you.
[01:01:29] Speaker E: I turn my big furry head to the rest of you and bellow.
[01:01:33] Speaker C: No.
[01:01:36] Speaker A: Well, I don't say now because it's a fear you rolled with. So, yeah, Queen Blessing is going to take. Is going to take her go all four of them.
All four of them. So, yes, she's going to. She's gonna go for relentless again and she is going to again to sort of like slash. Seeing you sort of like murder you taking all of this. These actions towards these swords, she is going to slash at you.
I don't suppose a 5 will hit.
[01:02:16] Speaker E: I hop, skip and jump out of the way of that one.
[01:02:20] Speaker A: Well, I forgot to spend a fair. Well, she's going to spend another fear and she's going to go again at you. Murden, that's way too many D20s.
[01:02:37] Speaker B: Oh, no.
[01:02:40] Speaker E: I've got my paws up.
[01:02:43] Speaker A: Blessing.
While you're sort of going after these. These. These shadow swords, she's trying to grab you, but she's unfortunately not getting it.
Just too, too small for her.
Like in. In one of her rages as she tries to grab a hold of you again, she is gonna spend another fear and she is going to cast Protect My world an extra five.
[01:03:09] Speaker B: Here he goes.
[01:03:11] Speaker A: So, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 8.
But in her. In her. In her savagery, as she's trying to slash at you, she's actually slashing at Virgil.
[01:03:23] Speaker F: Oh, no.
[01:03:26] Speaker A: For a 10.
[01:03:27] Speaker F: No, I've got pretty good evasion.
[01:03:34] Speaker A: She is going to spend her last fear.
She's gonna spend her last fear. And she. And again, while she's trying to do this, this slashing, trying to grab you as you. As all of you sort of scurry around her fingers, she's gonna try and grab. She's gonna try and slash at you, Lucretia.
[01:04:02] Speaker B: What did I do?
[01:04:04] Speaker A: And she. But it's okay because she only gets six, so she is not happy.
[01:04:10] Speaker B: Really annoying, though, because nothing is happening on the sigil right now. She's just flailing.
[01:04:20] Speaker A: But it does mean it goes down one more on the clock.
[01:04:24] Speaker B: Okay. Oh, my goodness.
Oh, my goodness me.
[01:04:28] Speaker A: Beau, would you like to go next?
[01:04:30] Speaker C: Yeah, I mean, I'll clear the pace.
[01:04:33] Speaker E: Do you wanna. Do you think it's worth spending a paradise to give Nate some more fear back?
Just because, you know, I feel so condemned.
[01:04:42] Speaker B: Don't you dare be so condescending to our gm.
You do not know what else Blessing has up her sleeve.
[01:04:50] Speaker D: Stop it.
[01:04:52] Speaker C: Stop that.
[01:04:52] Speaker D: Pranks.
[01:04:53] Speaker B: Now.
Please don't punish us for the Actions of Dan Nathan.
[01:04:57] Speaker C: No, I will.
[01:04:58] Speaker A: Don't worry.
[01:05:00] Speaker F: He's making a note.
[01:05:03] Speaker B: We do not endorse this message.
[01:05:06] Speaker C: Dan, can you get in melee range of her?
[01:05:10] Speaker E: I would expect so.
[01:05:12] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, let's. Let's all get with a melee range of her face.
[01:05:16] Speaker C: I mean, I've still got three hopes, so I could. I can. I could do another tag team.
[01:05:21] Speaker E: Yeah, Would you like.
[01:05:24] Speaker A: We.
[01:05:24] Speaker E: We can't tag team, unfortunately. I would suggest you ride my biker
[01:05:29] Speaker F: rodeo, but I've got quite a few.
[01:05:34] Speaker B: I've got a few hope.
[01:05:37] Speaker A: I mean, you could.
[01:05:38] Speaker E: You could use me as your springboard for your boing attack.
[01:05:41] Speaker C: Well, I just need you to be within melee range of her or somebody to be within me.
[01:05:48] Speaker E: Well, if you tagged in with like,
[01:05:50] Speaker D: pally, I. I only have, like.
[01:05:55] Speaker C: Yeah, I've got the money.
I just need somebody to get within me, though. I just. Otherwise it's not really worth.
[01:06:01] Speaker D: I can do that. I can do it. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
[01:06:08] Speaker C: Well, would you like to slash, give her a stab?
[01:06:21] Speaker D: Sounds good to me. Let's see if.
[01:06:24] Speaker C: Let's do this.
[01:06:25] Speaker D: Let's see if this works. And because you're spending the hope, I'll go put a hope in my swing. So see if we can get a better version.
Yours pretty good.
[01:06:36] Speaker A: 21 with fear.
[01:06:38] Speaker D: Mine not so good.
[01:06:40] Speaker A: 12 of hope.
[01:06:44] Speaker B: Yeah, you have to.
[01:06:47] Speaker E: Oh, you can't transport.
[01:06:48] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:06:49] Speaker E: Okay.
[01:06:51] Speaker A: And that does make the clock go down. Another one.
Yeah. But a 21 does hit. Roll those bones.
[01:07:01] Speaker C: Perfect.
[01:07:08] Speaker D: 22 damage for me.
[01:07:09] Speaker B: Oh, hell yeah.
[01:07:12] Speaker D: That's so good.
[01:07:13] Speaker B: 22.
[01:07:15] Speaker A: 44.
[01:07:16] Speaker B: 44.
[01:07:18] Speaker A: 44 is major damage as she recoils back from these. From these shoots and these.
And these blazing attacks from your axe.
[01:07:32] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:07:33] Speaker A: Because it was a fear. She's gonna go next. She's gonna spend her only fear. Oh, again to do. Join my madness, P. She's gonna go up against you. Could you do me a knowledge reaction roll?
[01:07:46] Speaker D: Okay.
[01:07:47] Speaker C: Smart boy.
[01:07:50] Speaker D: What with my zero in knowledge. So good.
[01:07:53] Speaker B: You can do it.
You're a good boy.
[01:07:59] Speaker A: It's a crit. Yes. She's. She's already tried to. She's already tried to do it to you, pally. You know very well not to.
Not to take any from that. Yeah, that is her go. Who would like to go next to you?
[01:08:16] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:08:16] Speaker D: Oh, yeah.
[01:08:17] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:08:19] Speaker A: Thank God, pally, I've got you up next. Would you like to go next?
[01:08:24] Speaker D: For everyone's okay with me to go next?
[01:08:26] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[01:08:30] Speaker D: Look, I've given her a smack to try and get her attention.
And again I'm like, your majesty, I think you're missing the point here.
You're missing the point. We are trying to help.
We are trying to. I think like really aggravated like. We are trying to help appeal your daughter. I appeal to the humanity trying to do. But we are trying to help.
Your daughter doesn't want this anymore. Can't you see that?
The people here want to go back to elsewhere.
They want to give. Have an opportunity to at least try.
Please listen to me.
[01:09:10] Speaker A: Give me a persuasion and I'll allow you to have an advantage on that.
Nice persuasion. A presence. Sorry.
[01:09:16] Speaker D: Thank you again. I'm gonna shove that fear, that fear, that hope into my roll. And hope I roll more.
[01:09:26] Speaker A: A 29 with fear.
That's pretty good.
[01:09:31] Speaker D: Hang on. I going to mark a structure.
[01:09:34] Speaker C: Change it.
[01:09:35] Speaker D: Yeah, to change it.
[01:09:36] Speaker B: Oh, poor Nathan.
You know, you got one fear taking it away from him.
[01:09:50] Speaker A: 29 with hope.
With. With this. 29. And you obviously being so much closer to her now. She. She looks down on you and she can hear you. And it's obvious that something is making its way through.
And she will go down a difficulty.
[01:10:10] Speaker B: Oh, we love that.
[01:10:13] Speaker C: We like that.
[01:10:14] Speaker B: We like that.
[01:10:15] Speaker E: Now we do the murder.
[01:10:18] Speaker A: I would say she could. She would do something, but she's got no fear. So I can't go, oh, no.
[01:10:26] Speaker D: Thank God.
[01:10:27] Speaker C: That's a shame. What a shame.
[01:10:29] Speaker A: So we have got. Who would like to go next?
[01:10:33] Speaker F: Can I ask how everyone is looking in terms of health?
[01:10:36] Speaker B: Really good.
[01:10:38] Speaker C: Health is fine. Sorry.
[01:10:42] Speaker B: Myrdden is slightly hurt, but has quite a lot of bashes. He can still take. I suspect.
[01:10:50] Speaker E: I can bear it.
[01:10:53] Speaker B: Shut up.
[01:10:54] Speaker F: Just for that, I'm never healing you ever again.
[01:11:00] Speaker D: So.
[01:11:01] Speaker F: Everyone's good for healing. I'm just checking because I've got at least three.
[01:11:03] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah.
[01:11:04] Speaker F: Cool.
[01:11:05] Speaker D: I'm okay for a bit.
[01:11:06] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:11:07] Speaker D: Is it Brother Talons time?
[01:11:09] Speaker B: It's Brother Talons time.
[01:11:11] Speaker C: It's tal. Is it Talons time?
[01:11:13] Speaker B: It's talent. It's Talons time.
[01:11:14] Speaker F: It's always talent time.
I. I will start. Yes, I will.
Kick me off the page. Where's my boy?
[01:11:25] Speaker A: He's going to get another crit. Again. If he gets another crit, I'm going to rage quit. I'm going to table flip.
[01:11:33] Speaker B: It's not. It's a fear. It's a fair.
[01:11:36] Speaker A: It's a fear. Oh, good for me.
[01:11:37] Speaker F: Yay.
[01:11:40] Speaker B: Throw a few more shadow swords in. Nathan. Source it up. Come on.
[01:11:46] Speaker E: Dare you.
[01:11:49] Speaker A: Yes. A. A15 with fear. Unfortunately doesn't hit I'm afraid.
But because you rolled with a fear, she's going to go. She is just going to do the one attack at you, Virgil, where she is going to just do a slash at you.
[01:12:05] Speaker D: Give me.
[01:12:07] Speaker F: Don't get me.
[01:12:09] Speaker A: There you go. That's a 20. I'm guessing that hits.
[01:12:11] Speaker B: What's going on? The sigil.
[01:12:12] Speaker E: Yes, you're right, Nathan.
[01:12:14] Speaker A: It does hit.
[01:12:16] Speaker F: I like to ask.
[01:12:17] Speaker A: I just like to come confirm.
[01:12:19] Speaker E: The bear will interpose.
[01:12:21] Speaker A: The bear will interpose.
So, yeah, as she's again trying to grab brother talons, she makes a slash towards you, Virgil. But it looks like men is going to jump in there and take 30.
Take 30 magic damage.
[01:12:42] Speaker E: 30 magic damage.
[01:12:45] Speaker F: Okay.
[01:12:45] Speaker E: All right, well, first things first. We're gonna. We're gonna unyield some armor.
So do I reduce damage? I do reduce the damage, so that reduces it to minor. And then I'll spend an armor slot to take no damage.
[01:13:03] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:13:03] Speaker E: Okay. And then I apologize, but not really.
I will then deal you eight magic damage with.
[01:13:22] Speaker A: Yeah, that again, that is only minor damage. But you. You can see that she's now quite struggling. This. This mana that has been crackling around her is now getting more and more erratic.
[01:13:34] Speaker B: Whoa.
[01:13:37] Speaker A: Great.
[01:13:38] Speaker B: Oh,
[01:13:42] Speaker A: I had you. Maiden. Next on the list,
[01:13:46] Speaker E: as she sort of like, swings at Virgil, and then I jump in the way I look up to her, and if you keep trying to murder my flock, this will end work badly for you.
And I will launch myself through the ether alongside Pali and attempt to eat her face.
I'm gonna do this.
That's an 18 with fear.
[01:14:24] Speaker A: An 18 with fear meets it.
[01:14:31] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:14:32] Speaker E: And I am so aggrieved at everything that is happening that we're gonna add four for my body pressure, and I'm gonna add eight because I'm gonna rage out.
[01:14:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:14:49] Speaker E: So that is a total of 48 damage.
[01:14:53] Speaker A: 48 damage, good sir.
[01:14:58] Speaker E: And unfortunately, I am now omni buffed as I hit nine of nine straights.
[01:15:06] Speaker B: Oh, wait, what does that mean?
[01:15:09] Speaker E: Easier to hit?
[01:15:11] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:15:12] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:15:15] Speaker A: With as.
As. As you.
As you bite into her face, where. Where on the face would you say that you. You grab her on the schnauzer.
[01:15:26] Speaker E: I'm gonna go for the nose, but I reckon she probably kind of turns her head, so I might kind of get a cheek or a lip or there's just a big slash across her.
Across her face.
[01:15:39] Speaker A: Okay. As you. As you take this. This large slash across her face,
[01:15:47] Speaker E: you.
[01:15:47] Speaker A: You peer back as if to sort of look back in slow motion to see whether or not your attack has hit.
You can see the slash in her face not bleed like it usually would on any mortal. But starts crackling with this sort of red and orange intense mana that sort of is crackling out of her as she.
As she sort of brings her arms down and she screams in a. In a whale that the. The rest of you can't comprehend. If you. As you cover your ears to sort of stop the screaming that sort of echoes around in this whole area.
[01:16:30] Speaker E: The.
[01:16:31] Speaker A: The sky around you starts to turn red away from the. The purples and the blues of this galaxy like arena that she had placed you in.
She is now going to cast concentrated mana.
[01:16:47] Speaker B: Oh.
[01:16:50] Speaker A: Because you. Because you got to her before she was able to get down to the countdown.
She is now going to deal direct damage to all of you. So no attack number of what's left on the countdown. So you've got five left on the countdown. So she is going to deal six five D6 of damage. Direct damage to all of you.
So that's a 16.
[01:17:21] Speaker B: Okay.
Is this when we want my repudiate spell?
[01:17:28] Speaker A: Unfortunately your repeated expel won't work on this. This is basically. This is based. She as her. As her whole body just starts to disintegrate into this. Into this red ether.
[01:17:42] Speaker B: Oh blimey.
[01:17:44] Speaker A: Do you find the five of you and Brother Talons. You find the six of you still sort of hovering in this sort of like red. This red, red angry void of space.
As the five of you sort of look at each other kind of wondering sort of like what's. What's happening next. You hear her voice reverberate.
She's just like Fools.
Insolent fools.
Do you not know that this is my world?
As you are now facing this giant angry void of a face. Nothing.
Nothing physical is about this. This is all around you. This voice is around you. This man is around you. You can feel this intense claustrophobic feeling all around you. As she is now obviously pissed off that you have done this to her.
Could all of you do me a just a duality role please?
Lucretia.
Lucretia. Bow and Virgil.
Probably because you are relatively further away from where she exploded.
You don't feel anything but Mirden and Pally. Probably because you are much more closer to her.
You cannot help but feel there. This may very well be impending doom.
As that just gives me a couple more fear.
[01:19:37] Speaker B: Uh oh. I'm just gonna take my stress down by one because I finally managed to roll my strange patterns.
[01:19:42] Speaker F: So.
[01:19:43] Speaker D: Hooray.
[01:19:46] Speaker F: How is everyone doing? Hit point wise. Now
[01:19:54] Speaker D: I have three out of eight. But I'm more stressed than hurt.
[01:19:58] Speaker B: I've got two out of whatever mine is. I'm okay.
[01:20:02] Speaker F: I'm just asking if it's time to cast my rejuvenation barrier, but if we're cool. Because it also gives you bonuses and shielding from damage.
[01:20:18] Speaker B: That's true.
How much. How many people did Blessing just damage? Was it everyone?
[01:20:26] Speaker A: Basically it was everyone.
[01:20:28] Speaker B: Oh, the sigil's full. That's nice.
[01:20:33] Speaker A: I will say now, unfortunately, this is no longer Queen Blessing that you originally had. This is a whole new massive like entity.
So unfortunately, I am sorry to say, Lucretia, that your vigil will no longer work anymore.
But Lucretia, as, as you, as you, as you try to make this attack and it doesn't quite happen and you come to the realize that this is no, this is something other than Queen Blessing.
[01:21:04] Speaker D: This is.
[01:21:04] Speaker A: This is her.
This is her essence now taking some sort of form to make sure that the. The lot of you do not hinder her plans.
I'll pop him in there as well.
But Lucretia, as you, as you, you sort of go, damn it that you don't have this spell anymore. You then suddenly start hearing a familiar voice in the back of your brain and you say like, and it just says you can't attack her directly. She has weak points. Find her weak points.
Search for them.
That she is on the ropes. Please.
You must be able to, as you hear the voice of Lady Rejoice speaking in the back of your head.
[01:21:53] Speaker B: Yes.
Lucretia will call out everybody. We must find her weak points. I have no idea what that means, but Rejoice knows what she's talking about.
Yeah.
[01:22:08] Speaker F: I think counters have big misty head.
[01:22:11] Speaker E: Yeah.
[01:22:12] Speaker B: I think I would like to try something.
I would like to call upon my extensive knowledge of public figures and politics and the like to rack my brain for what are the most sort of human like, you know, compassionate goodwilled things that Lady Blessing Solomani was known for when back when she lived in elsewhere as a regular ace of Our Lady.
Yeah, so I'm just. I'm gonna roll using some of my experience.
I'm gonna do a knowledge roll using. I'm gonna have advantage because I'm well red and I. If I can use my academic savant experience, that would be great. I can use a stress to double it. So it will be a plus six rather than a plus three.
So yeah. And I'm. And based on that knowledge, I'm going to try and sort of essentially See if reminding her of who she is and some of the good things she's done that make her a good person, person that cares for people and doesn't destroy them and doesn't want to take over the world.
Try and see if I can sort of appeal to her more logically. Almost like remember who you are type thing.
[01:23:39] Speaker A: Okay.
[01:23:40] Speaker B: Okay. It's a crit with my strange power.
Finally, this is the time for it to happen.
[01:23:46] Speaker A: Yes.
[01:23:46] Speaker B: So, yes. 31 critical.
Yeah. What do I remember about this lady?
[01:23:53] Speaker A: You remember.
You remember that Lady Blessing was a remarkable leader.
Her husband. Her husband, who has a name. Her husband was.
Her husband died fairly early on and she was left to sort of rule the city of Soleimani by herself.
But she did an incredible job. She was incredibly powerful, but she was also incredibly sort of intelligent when it came to what was best for the people.
Not in this sort of way. She. She cared very much about the citizens of Solomoni and she would always put the best interests of them to her heart. And that was why the. The city of Solomani was such a prosperous city.
Lots of people would come there and do trade because she was very due diligent with her, with the orders in the city.
And she was.
And she was very much a devout of her. Of her dragon, which was Festo, which, because he's more of a trickster dragon, it did mean that lots of festivals happened. Festo was a particularly.
The way that they celebrated Festo was the fact that they liked a lot of festivals and she was to make sure that a good amount of. Of money was put back so that these festivals could be the best that they could to really boost the morale of the city.
[01:25:40] Speaker B: Okay, so, yeah, just remembering all of this, Lucretia goes, I'm going to try something. And she addresses this big, angry, incorporeal head and she. She shouts, lady Solomani, remember who you are.
You. You lost so much, so young, and yet you led the city of Solomoni to, to greatness. Think of all the ways you benefited the citizens that the festivals, the, the welfare. My goodness.
[01:26:18] Speaker F: You.
[01:26:18] Speaker B: You were the, you were the first ruler in Elsweyr to come up with some, some of those amazing statutes about carefully the decision disabled and the elderly. You. You were a trailblazer. You cared for your people.
You were a visionary. Remember Lady Solomani, please, as you say
[01:26:40] Speaker A: these words, you can. This face, this sort of like distorted vision of Lady Blessing starts sort of writhing and screaming as you were saying this, but with a critical you. As your words start coming out you notice that there are these, like, these certain points that are sort of around her, which with a crit you can definitely tell these are some. These are weak points. These are the way of getting to her.
[01:27:11] Speaker B: Okay, cool.
[01:27:13] Speaker A: Of making that final damage to sort of weaken the state that she's in.
[01:27:18] Speaker B: Yeah, but cool.
And I. I sort of point and go there and there.
Target those.
[01:27:27] Speaker E: That's handy because me and was gonna go for her eyeball.
[01:27:31] Speaker C: Watch eyeballs.
[01:27:39] Speaker A: So, yes. Pali, I've. If you're all done, pally, I've got you next on the list. What would you like to do?
[01:27:44] Speaker D: Okay, first of all, I'd like to add a prayer dice. So I have two hope.
So I have only one prayer dice left.
And then hearing about these weak points, I think Pali also, because he rolled with fear and is fearing the worst at this point, remembers what he was taught by rejoice.
And I'd like to use stunning, stunning sunlight on the weak point.
[01:28:12] Speaker A: Go for it.
[01:28:13] Speaker B: Amazing.
[01:28:16] Speaker D: Let's see if I succeed.
So I'm gonna do it straight. I think I've only got two hope and I'm planning on using it, so can only use it once.
No, it's all right. Okay, how's the spell work again?
So make a spell cast, roll to unleash powerful rays of burning sunlight on a success, spend any number of hope and force that many targets. So I only have two targets. So typically I could use one hope for the roll and then another hope for the extra target. So I aim at one weak point and then at another if I'm successful.
[01:28:56] Speaker C: Yeah.
[01:28:57] Speaker D: So with that, I'm going to use my experience.
It's trained since birth because it feels like it's related to my God and my religion if it's pulling on Menengar's power that I've always followed.
So we'll use that and hope for the best. So let's see.
That is just awful. That's so sad. Okay,
[01:29:26] Speaker B: a little bit sad.
[01:29:27] Speaker D: Yeah. Okay, well, make it say hang on. So
[01:29:33] Speaker B: is it possible for me to pull.
[01:29:35] Speaker D: Hang on? I think people hang on. Targets who succeed, take three D20 plus three.
[01:29:40] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:29:41] Speaker D: Targets who fail, take so
[01:29:48] Speaker B: on a success, spend any number of hope for that many targets. Is it possible for me to pull my reassurance card from my vault for zero recall cost and reassure Pallie, if I get rid of one of my spell cards.
[01:30:07] Speaker C: You can pull out your vault? Yeah.
[01:30:09] Speaker B: Can I pull it out of my vault at any time?
[01:30:10] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:30:11] Speaker B: Is that all right? In which case I'm going to sacrifice my book of Ava for reassurance.
And I am going to call out to Pali.
So, yeah, you can offer assistance or words of support. So to re roll the dice, I say you.
So what precisely did.
It was the sunlight. It was the stunning sunlight. What did I see him try.
[01:30:50] Speaker D: I feel like Pali would like stand there and I think you would see within his hands like the sun starting to melt, but it's not quite coming out. He's never done the spell before.
[01:31:01] Speaker B: He's never done the spell before. Well, Lucretia's very good at spells, and I think she probably spots what you haven't quite got right and calls it out to you.
[01:31:10] Speaker E: And would, would Nate think that a post roll tag team is in order?
Maybe Lucretia's guide in the magic.
[01:31:21] Speaker D: Do you have, do we have the hope?
[01:31:26] Speaker B: I've got lots of hope. I've got a lot of hope.
[01:31:28] Speaker A: I'm, I'm happy to allow it to be a tag team if you want to be.
[01:31:32] Speaker B: Thank you so much.
[01:31:33] Speaker D: Do I still get to roll again?
Is it that?
We'll keep it.
[01:31:37] Speaker A: We'll keep it as your one.
[01:31:40] Speaker B: What do I roll you?
[01:31:43] Speaker C: It's just a knowledge.
[01:31:45] Speaker B: Yeah, my knowledge. Okay. I can do that. I can do a straight duality die.
Yep.
That is 20 with 20 with hope.
[01:31:54] Speaker A: A 20 with hope does hit.
[01:31:59] Speaker D: Okay. Okay. So with that then I want to assess, spend any number of hope and force that many targets you succeeded against to make a reaction roll. So technically just one hope to react. So just one hope. I only have one hope left because I used it for the other one.
So I'll do it on one of them. Even if it's just one of them. That's fine.
So cool. So, yeah, I think you need to volley.
[01:32:30] Speaker A: I need to do a. Let's take a look.
[01:32:32] Speaker D: I need to do make a reaction roll of. You have to beat 14.
[01:32:37] Speaker A: Which, which one are you going for?
[01:32:40] Speaker D: We'll do the one closest to me on the right.
[01:32:43] Speaker A: Cool.
[01:32:46] Speaker D: Spend that hope to.
[01:32:56] Speaker C: Five.
[01:32:57] Speaker D: Okay. So target to fail. Take four D20 plus five magic damage.
So
[01:33:10] Speaker E: did Lucretia do an attack?
[01:33:12] Speaker B: Well, I did. I, I, I cast reassurance on Pali, so I don't really have an attack.
But if you want, I could use. I could do some of my standard magic damage. Yeah, the stunning.
[01:33:28] Speaker A: Yeah, do a standard magic damage.
[01:33:30] Speaker B: So that would be.
God, let me just double check. Sorry. But if, say if we take my, my great staff as an example, I guess 3D6 +3.3D6 +3 pool can can do.
Three.
Okay.
20.
[01:33:52] Speaker A: 54. 54.
[01:33:55] Speaker D: Also Technic. Technically that weak point is now stunned and can't react. So I don't know how we want that to work.
[01:34:03] Speaker A: I mean that's. That's pretty stunned because Pali is as you. As. As you feel this sort of like this, this in this imbusion movement of positivity from Lucretia as she fires towards your ax and your ax is imbued with sort of like her manner along with your divinity. You can feel that crack go through that weak point as it shatters underneath you and. And blessing gives a massive roar.
[01:34:33] Speaker F: Oof.
[01:34:34] Speaker B: Excellent.
[01:34:37] Speaker D: Thank you.
[01:34:39] Speaker B: Quite all right.
[01:34:43] Speaker A: Who.
[01:34:45] Speaker E: And you both gain a hope.
[01:34:46] Speaker A: Oh, and you both gain a hope. Thanks Maiden. Do you want to go next?
[01:34:51] Speaker E: Yeah.
Virgil, shall we introduce ourselves?
[01:34:59] Speaker F: I. I believe we already have. But
[01:35:03] Speaker E: I'm going to launch myself towards the other sort of like runic weak point.
If you would like to tag team, I get free advantage.
[01:35:13] Speaker F: Absolutely. Let's do this. I can pay for it.
[01:35:15] Speaker B: I've got hope.
[01:35:18] Speaker E: I'm the friend that gets everyone to buy him drinks.
[01:35:22] Speaker C: Yes.
[01:35:22] Speaker E: Because I am so poor.
[01:35:24] Speaker B: Just like a.
[01:35:28] Speaker E: Okay. I.
Yeah, I'm gonna do a bear claw.
So I get avantage for an attack.
[01:35:43] Speaker B: 32 with fear though it has to be virgin.
[01:35:47] Speaker C: No, I think you can use Brother Talons.
Use the weapon.
[01:35:50] Speaker E: I mean, I mean, yeah, just grab other talents.
[01:35:53] Speaker F: Like use him as a battering.
[01:35:56] Speaker E: I mean if you fire Brother Talons
[01:35:58] Speaker A: out of my short bow and then
[01:36:01] Speaker E: like two miss holes.
[01:36:05] Speaker A: Virgil, all Brother Talons. Who's rolling?
[01:36:08] Speaker F: I'll roll.
Improved shot bow.
Oh, that was. Okay.
[01:36:18] Speaker A: So would you like a 10 with hope or a 32 or 4?
[01:36:23] Speaker E: You know what? For your benefit, mate, let's go for the 32.
Thanks, guys.
[01:36:29] Speaker A: Thanks for thinking about me.
[01:36:31] Speaker B: No.
[01:36:32] Speaker A: So yes, that does hit.
[01:36:34] Speaker E: Okay, well, I'm going to rage up, which will deal me a point of damage.
So I'm gonna go up to 7 of 11.
So that is now plus 12.
So I'm doing this much damage.
35.
And how much is Virgil?
[01:37:13] Speaker F: Sorry, which one? What do I use?
[01:37:16] Speaker E: Well, you. Our attacks here.
[01:37:19] Speaker F: Oh, I, I, for some reason I assumed. Yeah, my apologies. That was me being very slow.
[01:37:26] Speaker B: Oh, not bad, not bad.
[01:37:30] Speaker E: 56.
[01:37:31] Speaker A: 56.
Yes. A 56 is major damage Again, as.
As this shot pierces through this sort of like invisible barrier that's sort of shining in this. In this.
In this galaxy space. And Murden, as you sort of rip it apart with your bare paws, this also too does break as she Wails again under this attack. But she is still up there.
[01:38:00] Speaker B: Still someone. Someone needs to sweet talk her.
[01:38:04] Speaker F: Go pally, go.
[01:38:05] Speaker B: Go Pally, go.
[01:38:09] Speaker D: Okay, cool.
I can try.
I think he will move forward and try to get her attention.
Think about what Krisha said and try to think about what would Joyce was saying. Thinking about the princess.
It's like. I implore you just one more time.
This is not what your people want and they need to make the decision for themselves.
If what Lucretia is saying is right, you do have your people's best interest at heart. And this. This isn't what they want.
Please listen to them. Please listen to us.
Presence check.
[01:39:05] Speaker A: Presence check.
[01:39:07] Speaker B: Presence check.
[01:39:09] Speaker D: I'll use my last hope.
[01:39:19] Speaker A: 15 with a hope.
A 15 with a hope unfortunately doesn't seem to be hitting the same way that Lucretia's.
[01:39:29] Speaker D: I added to paradise.
[01:39:32] Speaker B: What if though?
[01:39:35] Speaker A: I will save you. I'll be nice. I'll save you and say that won't. That won't do anything, I'm afraid.
[01:39:41] Speaker B: Thank you.
[01:39:41] Speaker D: Thank you.
[01:39:44] Speaker B: Thank you.
I think Bo needs to have a go.
[01:39:48] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah.
[01:39:49] Speaker A: Well, because you.
Because you missed that, I am gonna have a little go.
[01:39:53] Speaker D: Uh oh, that's right.
[01:39:54] Speaker B: Uhoh.
[01:39:57] Speaker A: Let's have a little look and see what she's going to do.
She is going to.
Let's have some fun. No.
Oh no.
She is in her desperation. Especially sort of like with these weak points that has been getting at her. She's going to make an attack.
[01:40:28] Speaker B: Oh no.
[01:40:29] Speaker A: She's gonna do a desperate rampage so she will mark a stress. That was spend a fear for her. Go. And she's gonna make a target again. She's gonna make an attack against all targets.
Let's have a little good knowing it. I'm gonna get like a bloody two again or something.
[01:40:52] Speaker F: I saw that 20.
[01:40:56] Speaker A: That is 17.
Which I'm. How many people does that hit? Everyone?
[01:41:03] Speaker B: Yeah, it'll hit me. Lucretia for sure.
[01:41:06] Speaker A: Yeah, everyone. So yes, she's gonna do.
If everyone can take 27 physical damage and mark a stress for me, please.
[01:41:20] Speaker B: That was quite good.
[01:41:22] Speaker D: Was that. Is that direct damage or.
[01:41:24] Speaker A: It's not direct damage. No.
[01:41:27] Speaker E: Okay.
Okay.
[01:41:30] Speaker B: Pally 27.
[01:41:31] Speaker E: Are we. Are we about to sweep up here? Are we.
Have we got. Who doesn't appreciate 27 damage?
[01:41:37] Speaker B: I definitely don't. That's so much not so that is severe for me. Can I just check a ruling quickly?
[01:41:43] Speaker A: I forgot. I forgot one thing.
[01:41:45] Speaker B: Oh no.
[01:41:46] Speaker A: It's also very terrifying. So everyone loses a hope and I gain a Fear.
[01:41:49] Speaker B: Oh, no.
[01:41:50] Speaker E: I've just got the hope.
[01:41:52] Speaker B: Oh, no.
I was gonna ask. So if. If I just took severe damage, can I mark an armor slot to only take moderate. To only take major?
Yes. Okay, so I'm marking one in my armor slots and I take two damage. Yes,
[01:42:09] Speaker A: pal.
[01:42:09] Speaker E: Cat is very close to you if you want to protect Lucretia.
[01:42:15] Speaker D: I could. I could do that.
[01:42:17] Speaker B: Totally up to you.
[01:42:19] Speaker D: I'm on four, seven.
[01:42:21] Speaker B: If. If you don't.
[01:42:24] Speaker D: Yep.
The thing is, it just. It maxes out my stress. That's the thing.
[01:42:28] Speaker B: Nah, don't do that.
[01:42:29] Speaker E: Join the club, mate.
[01:42:30] Speaker B: Don't do that. Don't do that.
[01:42:31] Speaker A: Take a little. Take a little look at Virgil, by the way.
[01:42:35] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:42:35] Speaker F: So right. It's cool. I'm loaded with healing.
[01:42:38] Speaker E: Oh, yeah.
[01:42:38] Speaker B: Oh, wow.
[01:42:42] Speaker D: I feel like maybe I.
Oh, God, I don't know. Now,
[01:42:48] Speaker B: don't worry about me.
[01:42:50] Speaker F: I've got
[01:42:53] Speaker D: next time. Next time. I will protect whoever like to spot next time.
[01:43:01] Speaker C: I mean, I'll have a guy give him a go.
[01:43:04] Speaker B: Let the boy speak.
[01:43:05] Speaker C: Let's give her a go.
Excuse me, miss.
I think the first time you ever see Bo takes his cowboy hat off,
[01:43:20] Speaker F: he's got a little. A smaller little hat.
[01:43:22] Speaker A: Does he hold it like that in front of his head? Excuse me, ma'. Am.
[01:43:26] Speaker C: Excuse my ma'. Am.
And you see a beautiful little mullet that you've never seen before.
I know family means a lot to you, and the family means a lot to all of us, but at some point you just gotta let them go, you know, and, you know, let. Maybe let. What's her name? Blessing.
[01:43:55] Speaker B: Rejoice.
[01:43:55] Speaker E: Rejoice.
[01:43:57] Speaker C: Rejoice.
It just kind of let rejoice go her own way. She's a grown woman now. She's.
Let her take care of you. Let her go out. I mean, just let her do her own thing.
You know what it's like. You've been a woman in the now, but I just think you'd have to just let her blow the nest.
[01:44:26] Speaker A: Give me a presents roll.
[01:44:32] Speaker C: Presents.
Come on.
Do I get advantage or just pally?
[01:44:38] Speaker F: Just.
[01:44:38] Speaker C: Just Pally gets advantage there.
[01:44:40] Speaker D: I didn't get it last time.
Transcending blessing did not give me advantage.
[01:44:47] Speaker C: That's a whole 10.
[01:44:48] Speaker A: Oh, 10 with hope. Yes.
Unfortunately, a 10 doesn't hit. I'm afraid you. You can see that the sort of like your. Even your puss in Boots, big, big eyes. Like my mother is not getting through to her. She's wet as this, as this. As this head is just wailing and Thrashing in the sky.
[01:45:13] Speaker C: Well, I guess it's just going to have to be Merton.
[01:45:17] Speaker B: Could be Virgil. Virgil hasn't tried to save her yet.
[01:45:22] Speaker A: Because you missed your go. I am going to spend a fear to make an attack
[01:45:28] Speaker F: while.
[01:45:28] Speaker A: While you've been speaking though. She is going to do a.
She is gonna psychically try to attack you.
[01:45:37] Speaker B: Oh no.
[01:45:41] Speaker C: Yeah. That would get me.
[01:45:43] Speaker A: Oh, that'll get you.
[01:45:47] Speaker B: How's Beau looking?
Fine.
[01:45:51] Speaker F: You don't know what it is.
[01:45:54] Speaker D: Oh it's. It's.
[01:45:57] Speaker B: You don't.
[01:45:57] Speaker C: We don't want you to have psychic attacks, Stan. You might go mad again.
[01:46:04] Speaker A: 31 don't need a repeat magic damage as she psychically attacks as you.
As you now believe that your hat was the one that was protecting your brain.
[01:46:18] Speaker C: Big Murden's taking my damage for me.
Put his brain in front of my brain.
[01:46:26] Speaker F: Head just comes into you.
[01:46:28] Speaker C: Can you can beam the shield for a psychic attack?
[01:46:32] Speaker F: I don't know if that works.
[01:46:33] Speaker E: I'm gonna take. I'm gonna use one so. And yielding armor doesn't trip trigger.
So I'm gonna take a point of armor and a point of damage as I hurl myself in front of both from this psychic blast.
[01:46:52] Speaker A: But that is her go mid. And I've got you next on the list. You want to go?
[01:46:59] Speaker F: Can I.
Can I step in and cast rejuvenation barrier just before she does.
[01:47:05] Speaker B: Another rat decimates me. Definitely just turns you into red mist.
[01:47:16] Speaker F: Yeah.
There's nothing I can do.
Could you say that my dedication to Gugolden is relevant in this time?
[01:47:32] Speaker A: I mean he lives in it. I mean possibly good gold.
[01:47:37] Speaker B: Totally. It's where you draw your power.
[01:47:40] Speaker A: That's where you draw your divinity from.
[01:47:42] Speaker F: Yes.
[01:47:42] Speaker A: He's my boy.
[01:47:43] Speaker B: It's your boy.
[01:47:45] Speaker F: Right?
[01:47:48] Speaker B: Very good.
[01:47:49] Speaker F: There we go.
[01:47:52] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:47:53] Speaker E: Okay.
[01:47:54] Speaker A: 27. Yeah. Pretty good.
[01:47:56] Speaker F: So that is everyone very close.
I think you can get in here. I think you can come in.
I'm letting you all in.
And it heals. And it also gives you some resistances.
But only to physical damage which he's not currently doing.
[01:48:17] Speaker C: Wow.
[01:48:18] Speaker B: So we can clear one D4 hit points.
[01:48:21] Speaker F: I think I can roll. Healing.
[01:48:23] Speaker B: Oh, okay.
[01:48:24] Speaker F: I think I can roll.
[01:48:26] Speaker B: I don't know if we're doing it. If we're leaving it up to Virgil.
[01:48:29] Speaker A: I mean I was gonna say Virgil. If you wanted to move just a little bit in the center then you could probably hit everyone.
[01:48:35] Speaker F: I'm coming.
[01:48:36] Speaker B: That's true.
[01:48:37] Speaker F: Sup gang?
[01:48:38] Speaker A: Pally as well.
[01:48:39] Speaker B: Pali Pally's close. I Think he needs to be a little bit closer to Pali.
[01:48:47] Speaker A: No, that's good.
So we say. We say you've moved into the middle of everyone.
[01:48:52] Speaker B: Yeah.
So at the moment you cast it, we all get 1D4 back. Is that right?
[01:48:58] Speaker C: Or do you do a 1D4 and you. We all get the same result or do we all.
[01:49:02] Speaker F: I think I. I feel like based on what I'm looking at here, I roll the healing.
[01:49:06] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:49:07] Speaker F: Get the healing that I give you.
[01:49:09] Speaker B: Right.
[01:49:10] Speaker E: Rolled a three.
[01:49:11] Speaker B: You rolled a three. That's good.
[01:49:12] Speaker F: Yes.
[01:49:13] Speaker C: So we all get the same.
[01:49:14] Speaker B: Thanks. Yes.
[01:49:15] Speaker A: And we'll get a three.
[01:49:17] Speaker B: Lovely.
[01:49:18] Speaker A: I like that.
[01:49:19] Speaker B: I. I like that a lot.
[01:49:23] Speaker C: Yes.
Lucretia, I can take an absolute.
[01:49:32] Speaker A: Cool with that then. Because you did roll with a fear. She is going to go. She's going to spend a fear and she's going to do this psychic attack on you, Virgil.
[01:49:51] Speaker F: Yeah, I did just step into her mouth.
[01:49:53] Speaker D: So 15 this time. I'm going to take the damage.
[01:49:58] Speaker A: You're going to take the damage.
[01:50:04] Speaker D: I got it.
[01:50:06] Speaker A: You got it.
Say that is.
[01:50:15] Speaker F: Come on.
[01:50:19] Speaker A: Okay, that's not too bad. 17.
[01:50:25] Speaker D: Okay.
[01:50:25] Speaker E: That was very lucky.
Holy moly.
[01:50:30] Speaker D: I'm aware.
[01:50:35] Speaker A: So, yes, she is still thrashing around. There are still weak points around this area.
Who would like to go next?
[01:50:44] Speaker D: Can I roll to just find the weak points or do we have to talk to her to get weak points?
[01:50:50] Speaker F: You.
[01:50:50] Speaker A: If. Tell me, tell me how you were going to locate these weak.
[01:50:57] Speaker D: Having seen them already, I think Pally is just going to try and
[01:51:04] Speaker E: use,
[01:51:05] Speaker D: like, I don't know, his, like, connection to an Anguard. See if he can kind of pinpoint any other weak points that are similar to what he saw.
If you want me to do that.
[01:51:24] Speaker A: Yeah. What, what ability?
[01:51:29] Speaker D: My spellcaster. Strength as a serif.
[01:51:32] Speaker A: But okay, yeah, no, if. If you're. If your spell casting is strength and it's sort of like you're using your divinity, I will allow you to use your buff eyes to your buff days.
[01:51:50] Speaker F: Tell your buff eyes. See.
[01:51:53] Speaker C: Oh.
[01:51:53] Speaker B: 24 with fear.
[01:51:55] Speaker A: 24 with.
[01:51:55] Speaker D: And. Oh, God. I haven't got any stress left.
[01:51:58] Speaker B: No.
[01:51:59] Speaker D: So I can't change it into hope.
[01:52:02] Speaker E: You can spend the stress.
You spend a hit point instead.
[01:52:07] Speaker D: You know what? I think that's worth it. I don't want give you any more fear. So sorry. Now.
Yeah. I've done fearless, so it's hope now.
[01:52:20] Speaker A: Okay with that? Yes, Pally, because you've seen these, These, These. These weak points before. You do look around and you do notice sort of like round behind you. There does seem to be a little crack in this visage that is sort of like meant, like all around you.
[01:52:40] Speaker D: Can I still go? Can I just.
[01:52:42] Speaker A: Yeah.
Because you rolled with fear, I'm gonna say, oh, no, you did you.
[01:52:48] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:52:48] Speaker A: So, yes, you can go again. Please do. Yeah.
[01:52:50] Speaker D: The only reason why I asked. Okay, cool.
[01:52:52] Speaker E: Take your hope.
[01:52:56] Speaker D: Wait. Right. Okay, let's go. I'm just gonna rush over, gonna give it a whack.
And. Yeah, train since birth. Let's just keep using that hope while I got it. It's just gonna. Gonna hit it and I'm gonna change it to a hope again because why not? We're in the end times.
So. Yeah, it's fine. It's fine. But because so something I've been meaning to try and do this whole time.
So I have ability called second win.
It's really annoying.
Okay, it's fine. I can still use it. But I was gonna hope. I was trying to do it in front of Mirdin, but I cannot.
So second win once per rest. When you succeed in an attack against an adversary, you can clear three stress or a hit point. On a success with hope, you also clear three stress or a hit point on any ally within close range of you.
Everyone is nowhere near me, so sadly, I cannot. But I can at least clear Freestress, which is.
[01:54:04] Speaker A: I mean, Virgil and Lucretia are still in with. In close range.
[01:54:08] Speaker D: Cool. In that case, one of you can take. So who needs. I think Vergil needs it more than Lucretia in terms of hit point.
[01:54:19] Speaker B: Yes.
[01:54:20] Speaker D: So if that's okay, Lucretia, Unless.
[01:54:22] Speaker F: Yes.
[01:54:23] Speaker D: Anyone needs three stress cleared, apart from between two of you.
[01:54:30] Speaker E: The hit point.
[01:54:31] Speaker F: Go now. Take those hit points. Thank you.
[01:54:34] Speaker D: Cool. I'm going to roll. Roll damage now of the cleaver. So 17 damage to the weak point.
[01:54:44] Speaker A: 17 damage.
17 damage. Yeah. You.
[01:54:48] Speaker F: You.
[01:54:49] Speaker A: Because this is the first time you've gone up against one of these by yourself.
You can. You can feel your axe sort of go into it and it. And it does something. It does a crack to it, but it's not quite getting in there as it only does minor damage.
[01:55:06] Speaker D: In that case, I'll shout to Bo Automo to be like, help me strike this.
[01:55:14] Speaker A: I'll.
[01:55:14] Speaker E: I'll look to Bo.
[01:55:17] Speaker A: You want to go next?
[01:55:19] Speaker C: Yeah, I'll shoot it.
I'll shoot that crack.
[01:55:26] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh.
[01:55:29] Speaker D: I want it on a t shirt now.
[01:55:31] Speaker B: 13 with fear.
[01:55:35] Speaker A: A 13 with fear, unfortunately doesn't hit.
I won't hit that crack.
You won't hit that crack as you rolled with a fear.
She is going to do another. Let's see.
She is going to mark a stress.
[01:56:05] Speaker B: Again.
[01:56:09] Speaker A: She's going to mark a stress and she's going to do her desperate rampage.
As she aims against all of you.
[01:56:23] Speaker F: Physical damage. Everyone is in.
[01:56:27] Speaker B: What's that? O, wait, so what happens?
[01:56:29] Speaker E: Oh, we have resistance.
[01:56:30] Speaker B: We have resistance.
Okay, cool.
[01:56:34] Speaker D: That mean half damage.
[01:56:40] Speaker A: So half damage. Cool.
Well, I mean, I need to roll it first to see if you actually.
[01:56:44] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:56:49] Speaker C: Oh, yeah.
[01:56:51] Speaker A: 3020. That hits everyone.
And it is two.
What is it again? 2D 20s plus 2D 20 plus 2.
So it's 16. But you only take half of that.
[01:57:09] Speaker D: Right apart from me.
Okay.
[01:57:17] Speaker B: Okay, that's.
[01:57:19] Speaker C: Get it all my arms. Let's go.
[01:57:22] Speaker B: I'm gonna do another arms slot. Negate that.
[01:57:25] Speaker C: I've still got 80 health. I can start taking actual gifts.
[01:57:32] Speaker E: Do I Am I boved?
I am b. Yeah.
[01:57:39] Speaker A: Who would like to. Who would like to go next? I've got Miran up next.
[01:57:45] Speaker E: Well, what's Lucretia thinking?
[01:57:47] Speaker B: I was thinking of looking for more weeks spots if you want to go ham on the.
The one we can currently see.
Or I might reveal another one.
[01:57:57] Speaker E: Yeah, you. You. You go first.
[01:58:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay.
[01:58:01] Speaker E: And I'll.
I'll see what.
[01:58:05] Speaker B: No, no probs at all. Having already seen some of these. Some of these weak spots, I. I guess I'm gonna use my kind of arcane knowledge to look for signs of other ones, which I would guess I'm gonna roll a knowledge check, which I'd like to add my academic savant experience to that, if that's okay.
Is that right, Nate?
[01:58:37] Speaker D: Yep.
[01:58:37] Speaker C: Absolutely fine.
[01:58:38] Speaker B: Awesome. So, yeah, I'll take a stress to do that rather than hope. So it's gonna be plus an extra three.
So it's 25 with hope. 28 with hope.
[01:58:56] Speaker A: 28 with hope. Yeah. Yeah. So what are you doing to sort of search for.
[01:59:02] Speaker B: I guess I'm sort of.
Look, I'm. I'm using my knowledge of what the weak spots we've found so far have looked like, where they've been placed. I'm just sort of doing a bit of mental triangulation and looking for signs of no ripples in the reality we're currently in to see if I can reveal any.
Maybe with a sort of bit of purple glow on the end of my. The end of my stick as well.
[01:59:30] Speaker A: Yeah. With your. With your knowledge now of seeing what they look like, you are definitely able to find another chink in this visage. That she's got around her.
[01:59:40] Speaker B: Awesome.
[01:59:41] Speaker A: So yeah.
[01:59:42] Speaker B: And yeah, I'm gonna point towards it, sort of signal Myrden towards where this new one is actually quite close to him and say there.
[01:59:49] Speaker E: Okay.
Hang your own with hope. I'm gonna go bear wild.
Going to surge towards this weakness and I'm gonna attempt to eat it.
[02:00:10] Speaker A: Okay. For it.
Do a knob.
[02:00:12] Speaker C: Love it.
[02:00:13] Speaker B: Love it.
Do numb.
[02:00:16] Speaker E: It's a 19 with fear.
[02:00:20] Speaker A: A 19 with fear.
Someone might have a prayer dice.
[02:00:30] Speaker D: Would you like a paradise?
Maybe give you a prayer dice? I have no more paradise left to give.
[02:00:39] Speaker E: Thank you.
Right, I'm going to hear me out.
I'm gonna rage up, which will cost me another hit point.
So that is. That takes me up to 8 damage.
I'm then gonna add plus 12 to this attack and that's gonna be a cheeky little 32 damage.
[02:01:10] Speaker A: 32 damage.
32 damage. Like it feels like you've got a good chomp on this thing, but unfortunately that is only minor damage.
[02:01:26] Speaker B: Okay,
[02:01:29] Speaker E: okay, okay, okay, okay.
[02:01:32] Speaker A: As as this thing still is, is still in your. In your grasp at the moment.
Her with.
With that fear that you. You had blessing turns to you to see that you're attacking one of her weak spots.
And she is going to attack you Murden, with one of her psychic attacks.
[02:02:05] Speaker B: What is your. What's your evasion? Just out of interest?
10. Oh, okay. It's not great.
[02:02:11] Speaker F: Yes.
[02:02:12] Speaker B: I'm not gonna do anything.
[02:02:14] Speaker A: Okay, so that is 30 magic damage.
[02:02:22] Speaker E: Okay.
First things first, Darcy.
Unrelenting armor kick in.
It does not. Oh, so that is major.
So I can tap out my armor and then take one damage.
[02:02:43] Speaker B: How much more damage can you take?
Some.
Some.
What's your max damage?
[02:02:51] Speaker E: I'm on nine of 11.
[02:02:53] Speaker B: Okay. Not a lot then we're getting to.
[02:02:56] Speaker C: But I'm.
[02:02:56] Speaker E: I'm good. I'm good.
[02:02:58] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm good. You've got no.
[02:03:01] Speaker C: Sorry.
[02:03:03] Speaker B: No,
[02:03:05] Speaker E: I am good.
[02:03:08] Speaker A: But that is her turn. I've got Virgil. Would you like to go next?
[02:03:12] Speaker F: Can Virgil try and talk to her?
[02:03:14] Speaker B: Yes.
From the heart
[02:03:19] Speaker F: covered in this little like green force field that he's projecting.
[02:03:24] Speaker A: Yes.
[02:03:24] Speaker B: Yeah.
[02:03:26] Speaker F: He's sort of seeing this destruction going on around him and major damage being done to everyone in his wake.
You sort of look at up. Very slightly desperate Look, I understand the past.
Sometimes it's so beautiful, we just want to preserve it forever, keep it exactly the way it was.
But we can't. And sometimes we have to understand that the future can hold things just as wonderful, just as beautiful if not more so.
But we have to let that future happen.
You understand?
[02:04:14] Speaker A: Because I like that so much. Give me a presence to check with advantage.
[02:04:18] Speaker C: Yeah.
[02:04:22] Speaker F: Present. Oh, well, my presence is minus one, so.
Can I add dedicated to Gigolden to
[02:04:32] Speaker A: that as Elysia, you can.
[02:04:38] Speaker F: Oh, I can't, apparently, because I do not have the hope. So that's a no. I can't.
We're not doing. We're not convincing her.
[02:04:51] Speaker C: Yeah.
[02:04:52] Speaker A: And unfortunately that is not.
That is not quite hitting. She is. She is too busy sort of thrashing, thrashing around.
[02:05:04] Speaker F: Who's got to talk to her next is Maden.
[02:05:12] Speaker B: You can do this.
[02:05:14] Speaker E: Okay. I have watched the four of you attempt to talk this floating head down.
We've been physically ravaged. We have been psychically assaulted.
Mirdin is battered by beyond belief.
And as I. As Mirin turns to this sleering face, he closes his eyes and.
Enough with the head.
And I'm going to fly directly into her mouth and go hog wild.
[02:05:56] Speaker B: Wait, what.
[02:05:57] Speaker A: What are you. What are you going to do?
[02:05:59] Speaker E: I want to. I'm basically just gonna start like clawing.
So whether or not it's like attacking a weak spot. But I feel. I feel like I'm just gonna start, right, Because I. I need to be physically close to something. So I'm tempted to just start trying to wail on her face.
[02:06:17] Speaker A: Okay.
I mean, as. As you do try to go close to her face or in her mouth. In her mouth. But as you try to go in her mouth, she dissipates and her face appears somewhere else around you.
If you. It's. She is not a physical form. You try and swipe at it and it's gone and it appears somewhere else and she is. She is not of. Of any sort of physical form.
[02:06:44] Speaker B: Talk to her, just intimidate her.
We've intimidate nice and persuasive. Now it's time to threat.
[02:06:53] Speaker A: I mean, if you want to use that speech as an intimidation.
[02:06:59] Speaker E: Okay, I will.
Okay. How will I do this? Right?
I've got no hope to give me an experience bonus. So my proposal, oh benevolent gm is as I fly up to her and take a swing at her and then she dissipates and bumps away like the wuss that she is.
I'm going to double down on my presence by dropping my beast form.
But in doing so, I'm fundamentally manifesting Artiosa, the world spirit, as the like around me. So effectively I'm kind of expunging the. The bear from my form.
So I revert back to my Wolf king form.
And then with this, hopefully display of
[02:07:56] Speaker C: might,
[02:07:59] Speaker E: because I'm now accompanied by a world spirit, which I believe she doesn't know about.
[02:08:04] Speaker C: She.
[02:08:04] Speaker E: They do know about the world spirits, right?
[02:08:06] Speaker A: They. They kind of. Well, she knows about world spirits, sure.
[02:08:10] Speaker E: But in which case, yeah, the concept that I am one with this world spirit as this big old bear floats behind me, and then do I get advantage for physically channeling blessed by artiosa, which is normally an experience.
[02:08:28] Speaker A: Okay, I Elysia.
As you've made this and you've. And you're trying to intimidate her by saying, like, I've got a world spirit to deal with it, I will allow you to have an advantage on that as well.
[02:08:40] Speaker E: Yay.
[02:08:40] Speaker D: Yay.
[02:08:42] Speaker E: Do I need to roll a presence?
[02:08:44] Speaker A: I mean.
I mean, you could roll a strength if you're trying to intimidate her.
If you're gonna. If you're trying to do your big. Your big bowlegged stand and go.
[02:08:54] Speaker E: Okay, do. Do you want me to classify this as an experience or an or Neither, Because I've gotten the experience blessed by artiosa, which is a plus two.
[02:09:09] Speaker A: Okay, do the experience and I'll let you have an advantage as well.
[02:09:13] Speaker B: Oh, that was nice of you.
[02:09:18] Speaker E: Watch me.
[02:09:21] Speaker B: Oh, it's a funny with.
[02:09:24] Speaker A: Yes.
A thing. 30 with fear.
You.
You can.
You're sort of like your voice as well echoed in this. In this sort of tomb area with. With the roar of artiosa behind you, sort of stops her. Stops this face in its tracks.
And her difficulty will go down by one.
[02:09:52] Speaker F: Excellent.
[02:09:53] Speaker E: Okay.
[02:09:54] Speaker A: Which makes you now believe that because you. You this raw sort of verberates everywhere. And you're kind of thinking, why is there no more weak points?
Kind of giving you the belief that you've that there may not be actually any more weak points to find.
Finisher.
[02:10:16] Speaker D: Go.
[02:10:16] Speaker E: Paddle, go. Oh, no, no, no. It sounds.
[02:10:19] Speaker A: Oh, no, no, because. Yeah, because you rolled with fear.
She is going to go.
She is going to do her desperate rampage again.
[02:10:33] Speaker B: Get in the bubble.
[02:10:33] Speaker F: Get in the bubble.
[02:10:34] Speaker B: Get in the bubble.
[02:10:35] Speaker E: Everyone get in the bubble.
[02:10:36] Speaker B: Get in the bu.
[02:10:48] Speaker A: And she is going to. Not that.
Oh, it's only an 11 that I'm guessing that hits.
It's maiden. Oh, hits.
[02:11:00] Speaker B: It hits, pally.
[02:11:02] Speaker A: Yep, Hits bow.
[02:11:08] Speaker F: Evasion than the tanks.
[02:11:11] Speaker B: How are you doing on health there, Polly? You're okay? I'm fine.
[02:11:14] Speaker D: I'm gonna do. I am your shield for maiden, though.
[02:11:17] Speaker C: Oh, wait.
[02:11:20] Speaker B: Did maiden get hit?
[02:11:22] Speaker E: You're not close enough.
[02:11:24] Speaker D: Am I not close enough?
[02:11:25] Speaker B: Did Maiden get hit.
[02:11:26] Speaker A: He's in close.
[02:11:27] Speaker D: Yeah.
[02:11:28] Speaker E: Is that very close? Very close to army shield.
[02:11:32] Speaker D: Okay, agility to claim if I can get close enough to Dan.
[02:11:37] Speaker A: I will allow you to roll agility to see if you get close enough to me.
[02:11:44] Speaker D: No, no, try.
[02:11:46] Speaker A: Unfortunately not.
Yes. So that is. That is pally and mid. And that's 25 damage.
[02:11:57] Speaker B: How. How bad news is that for you, Dan?
[02:12:02] Speaker E: Okay, so it is.
It is major damage. But because I've reverted back to wolfkin
[02:12:12] Speaker D: form,
[02:12:14] Speaker E: so the runestones kind of reignite and then they swirl around me, which the stones are fundamentally my shield, which I can't equip in bear form, but are now. Is now re equipped now that I'm in walking form.
[02:12:27] Speaker D: So.
[02:12:28] Speaker E: So I will spend my last. Actual last two armor slots to reduce that damage from that physical attack.
[02:12:35] Speaker B: Okay. Okay.
[02:12:38] Speaker E: I'm good. I'm good.
[02:12:40] Speaker A: You're good?
[02:12:42] Speaker E: I'm still here. Yes.
Oh, but actually, am I bothed?
I'm so not boxed.
[02:12:56] Speaker C: So not moved.
[02:13:01] Speaker B: Amazing.
[02:13:02] Speaker F: Enough peace.
[02:13:03] Speaker B: I found it.
[02:13:09] Speaker A: So you. You know that these. That these two last weak points are the last one that can finally break this.
This what?
This. Whatever is happening now to finally get through to her.
I have Pally. Who wants to go next?
[02:13:27] Speaker D: I would like.
Because I failed my jersey roll before, I'm going to move over to midi.
[02:13:35] Speaker E: Oh, are you not going to smack the rune?
[02:13:38] Speaker D: Oh, don't worry.
I'll smack it.
[02:13:43] Speaker C: I'll smack it.
[02:13:44] Speaker D: I'll smack it. And I'd like to use my last restoration point to give you two to clear two hit points from.
[02:13:53] Speaker B: Oh, that's nice.
[02:13:55] Speaker D: So a little bit more buffer that you might need.
And I feel like that happens in the same way that my sparing touch would. I kind of reach for your hand and like clasp it in a really like brotherly, soldiery way. And it's like, let's finish this.
And with that, if I'm allowed to continue, I'd like to fling my ax at the.
Oh, it's a fling point behind me. I can. It can. I can throw it as Elysia.
And I still have a hit point. Hit point. I hope so. I'm gonna throw in my train since birth and see if I can hit
[02:14:37] Speaker E: it at the risk of shooting ourselves in the foot.
[02:14:40] Speaker C: What?
[02:14:41] Speaker E: Didn't she have a. Every time she hits us, we lose hope.
[02:14:44] Speaker B: Oh.
[02:14:46] Speaker A: Oh, yes, she does.
[02:14:49] Speaker B: Oh, no, wait. So how many hope have we lost?
[02:14:53] Speaker D: It's.
[02:14:54] Speaker A: It's fine. I. Because I forgot my maid.
I will only do it this once, but thank You Dan for. For mentioning that. Yes. You all lose a hope.
[02:15:04] Speaker B: Even the ones who didn't get hit
[02:15:06] Speaker A: or all PCs within far range.
[02:15:10] Speaker F: Okay.
[02:15:11] Speaker B: Right.
[02:15:14] Speaker A: But yes, P. That 24 with Hope does hit.
[02:15:17] Speaker D: Okay. I won't take the hope to. So then I give you the hope. The hope I would have had hope before gets really confusing.
Subway's going to roll again. I don't want to be honest. So I'm gonna roll damage.
I'm just checking there's nothing else I can do. You may do my second boat.
[02:15:49] Speaker A: You can't do the magical weapon.
[02:15:54] Speaker D: I can, but I think I need to be in a certain range for it. Let me just double check. Spirit weapon has to be within close range. I think I might be. It has to be melee. I think technically.
[02:16:14] Speaker C: Move to mid and then move back and then here you just move.
[02:16:19] Speaker D: That's what I'll be allowed. Yeah. If I'm.
[02:16:21] Speaker C: And then close back then you wouldn't have ever got.
[02:16:25] Speaker D: Yeah.
[02:16:25] Speaker E: Close to me.
[02:16:27] Speaker D: Yeah.
Let's have a look now. So.
So yeah, it's, it's. It's really bordering on it.
They are within close. But it's like.
[02:16:39] Speaker A: I'll allow it if it's. If it's relatively. It's semi in close range. I'll allow it.
[02:16:43] Speaker D: Okay, cool. Well I'll. I'll. You. I'll spread the stress then and I'll do it on the other target as well.
Okay, so that's 14 on both of them.
[02:16:53] Speaker A: Pali, what does this look like?
[02:16:58] Speaker D: Yeah. Okay, so in terms of the axe itself, it's very like 4 coded. So Zax comes up like literally chuck it like a bang around and I think it spins in like kind of like a golden light. So it kind of just becomes almost like a gold disc as it spins smashing into the weak point and then virtuating around and hitting the other.
[02:17:24] Speaker A: As you. As your. As your axe flies true knocking out both of these.
He says go away. Well, anyway, as. As your. As your ax flies true knocking out both of these weak points.
Her screams deafen through this void of anger and resentment and.
And pain as you then suddenly all start feeling yourselves like this red starts to dim. Her face fades away.
The five of you, the six of you are brought down as are like almost through a dream where you can't sort of measure time of what is happening. Do then suddenly feel yourselves on your. On your feet again.
As you find the four. As you find the six of you again resting in this orange flowered grove where you originally first came in and Standing in front of you, well, actually kneeling in front of you, looking down at the ground and tears streaming down her face is only what you can believe to be the mortal figure of Lady Blessing.
She looks inconsolable as she weeps on her knees.
And she says, I just.
I just wanted to protect her. I just wanted to, to.
[02:19:32] Speaker B: To.
[02:19:33] Speaker A: To make her safe, to give her. To give her all she ever deserved.
As, as her voice has, her voice sort of like weakly comes out. You can suddenly feel like underground of the. This grove crack as tears in the world around you start sort of breaking like glass.
A couple of you sort of take a look over sort of like into the void and underneath you, you can see Sanctuary. You can see you are up way, way above Sanctuary now. You can see the. You can see the small town of Sanctuary. You can see the traitor's camp. You can see the vast amounts of forest.
But things are cracking. Things are breaking.
[02:20:18] Speaker B: Oh no.
[02:20:19] Speaker A: It's almost like this world is now disintegrating.
I'm gonna give you two clocks.
[02:20:26] Speaker B: Oh no.
[02:20:30] Speaker A: One if I can bloody spel.
One is called Safe Sanctuary.
The other one.
Is sanctuary falls.
[02:20:57] Speaker B: Oh no.
Don't like that.
[02:21:09] Speaker A: You, Lucretia, you can't help. And Pally, maybe yourself as well. You can't help but feel like this is your final chance.
Now that she's mortal, now that she's. She's free from just this amount of.
Of power that she had, you can't help but feel that this is your final chance to really get through to her.
To really make her feel like that there is actually something think much more and to let rejoice. And the people of Sanctuary go.
You have, I've obviously put these two clocks. There's a four segment clock and there's a six segment clock.
Who would like to see if they can save Sanctuary.
Oh, blimey.
[02:22:01] Speaker B: I feel like if we're going for the human element, it's got to be Pally.
Okay, give it another go.
[02:22:11] Speaker D: Have been so bad today, so be gentle, Palia.
So Palia will move forward, take a breath, and he will remember the memory of. Of his father being in his queen's presence.
Memory that joy showed him. So he will try to match it in kind.
As he moves forward, he'll give her a bow.
Your Majesty, we only want what's best for your people.
[02:22:52] Speaker A: Or we.
[02:22:56] Speaker D: We only want what's best for your daughter. She appealed to us to reach to you.
I know you've not meant for any of this to happen.
It's clear you love her very much.
So.
They deserve an opportunity to see what elsewhere is now like. It is a really wonderful place.
[02:23:30] Speaker A: Give me. Give me a presence roll.
[02:23:34] Speaker D: Okey dokey.
That was a good role.
[02:23:42] Speaker A: That was a good role. Yeah.
You.
You can.
She's. You can.
She bursts more into tears like. Like she's realizing that what you're saying is true and she's letting that grief of the fact of what she has done let her wave through her body. But because of that, the clock will go down too.
[02:24:13] Speaker E: Meden is going to take a few steps forward and he's going to like, tower over her.
And then gently, because, like holding his ribs, he's going to lower himself to one knee.
You and I, we are both parents and we would do anything to save our children.
My greatest failure was letting the Eschaton take away my daughter and prevent her from seeing a new world.
Don't keep your daughter from this new world.
Don't be her lingering cataclysm.
Let her see all of the joy, all of the progress, all of the potential of your world elsewhere.
Let this charade fall.
As a loving parent, that's the least you could do.
[02:25:55] Speaker A: Because this probably took Myrden quite a lot to say this. I will allow you to roll a strength trick. Yeah.
[02:26:07] Speaker B: An inner strength. Check.
[02:26:15] Speaker A: 22 with hope.
[02:26:16] Speaker B: Hell yeah.
Nice.
[02:26:18] Speaker A: With that, with those final words, she.
She looks up to your eyes, Myrden.
And as you tick that clock down to zero, the. The five of you can feel you. You notice this world stop with that cracking, that cracking noise sudden.
And the. The five, the six of you, the seven of you, I felt with this embrace of warmth and love that comes from behind.
As you notice the fully grown up princess Rejoice, Lady Rejoice comes up behind her mother.
And as.
And as Lady Blessing looks up to her daughter, her daughter holds out a hand and she's like.
She goes there, right, mother, I want to make you proud in my own ways.
Let's go and make a new home, please.
And as.
And as Lady Blessing dips her head and wails in this grief, but grabs her daughter's hand, all of you suddenly sort of pitch into darkness as you suddenly feel your consciousness go.
And everything is black and silent.
One year later, The the town of Falstrom is.
Is busy with a usual day of market sellers, people pitching up businesses of people going about their days, children running through the streets as they make their way home from school.
A small, well, a rather stout goblin man climbs down a ladder.
As he. As he makes the final touches to assign to a brand new inn that's opening up in Faustrom.
His wife saddles up to him, another goblin woman, rather stout in her own self and says, oh you, you didn't.
It looked fine. You didn't have to to. To do any more to it.
And Rollo looks to his wife Bibi and says, oh well, you know, I, I want it. I want it to be perfect. I want it to look. I want it to look nice for everyone.
So I want it. I want it to look. I want it to look nice for everyone. You know, it's brand new. Brand new start for the both of us.
You know, we've. We've got to make a good, a good start.
As the two of them, as the two of them look up at a sign of a.
That shows sort of like the, the visage of a. Of a flowered field meadow and reads the word the sanctuary.
[02:30:02] Speaker B: Oh, the.
[02:30:04] Speaker A: The two of them pop back into this brand new inn which obviously is decorated with like bunting and all sorts of treats for a feast as it looks like they are setting up for their opening day as BB is sort of like scuttling around and she's making sure that everything is ready.
They hear sort of like a ring of the bell of, on top of the door as, as the two of them turn around and they look to see a familiar figure to them in the sign of a keeper.
As Aldous comes in, but not in his regular form.
He has now.
He's now got two usual fawn legs and looks similar to many other keepers as he, as he struts into the, into the inn and he's just that. Well, I'm, I'm here to help. I'm here to help you set up with anything.
Pops and Grandpa are just back there. They're making their way over. But I came along to help if you needed me for anything. And BB's just like BB said. Oh, that's. Oh, such a, such a gem you are, Aldous.
[02:31:24] Speaker B: It's.
[02:31:25] Speaker A: It's so good that you, you, you stuck around and, and to help us with things.
Is there, is there anyone else?
You're the first one here. Have you seen anyone else? And as the door doesn't get a chance to sort of hit the, to close, it opens again.
And standing in the door is a rather fine, a rather fine well scrubbed lore of our man now in the regalia of.
Of armor that looks much more cleaner than when you probably last saw him and nice clean new haircut and looking very much less tired. Of when you last saw him. And he's. And Kelphin, he's just like, well, I had to. I, you know, I was busy, busy, busy with my exploring, you know, job now. But I thought I'd. I thought I'd come here to. To celebrate with you lot. And he goes over to.
He goes over to Rollo and he gives him like a big hug and gives him a big pat on the back as it's, as it looks fairly obvious that they haven't seen each other in like the last year or like maybe like the last few months.
Roller goes like, well, look at you.
[02:32:45] Speaker B: Look you, you.
[02:32:46] Speaker A: You've done bloody good for yourself, haven't you? Yeah, you look spiffing. You do. And Kelfin is, is. Is beaming from ear to ear about how happy he is. He says, I. I hope you don't mind, but I am.
I. They were in town. I hope you don't mind if I sent. I've brought some family in as coming through the door.
The other sea, a Laur woman and a taller grayscale dragonsent come in. A bickering at each other as. As the female lorevar is just kind of going like, he didn't mean touching him that way when you came in. And the gray scale dressing said, how was I supposed to know? Come on, it's.
He looked at me with those eyes.
And as the.
As this bickering sort of happens, Rollo turns to Kelfie turns to Rollo and he says, who did you.
Who did you.
Did you invite the others? Did you invite, you know, the.
Did you invite, you know, the others?
And Rollo goes, well, I. I did.
And as he regales about how he has invited the others, we'll first go to Lucretia. Where do we find you?
One year,
[02:34:18] Speaker B: I think, I assume Lucretia would be back in a big city. What's it called again? Avonmore. Yeah. She would still be exploring.
Absolutely.
I think there was a part of her that was slightly, slightly sad that Sanctuary, you know, had to come to an end. I mean, there was a part of her that was just so fascinated by all the new natural phenomena and this whole idea of a world separate to, you know, world we all live in, that there was a part of her that kind of wished it could have remained, that she could have stayed behind, done more research. But assuming Sanctuary's not there anymore and that people have been sort of all moved out of it, I think she'd be back in Avermoor. She'd be doing.
She'd Be working for the explorers again and yeah, presumably would have brought her sister, sister Valeria home as well.
[02:35:37] Speaker A: So speaking of your sister, you are.
You are currently busying yourself away in. In your tower. Amongst your many books, would you say you have done any research about possibly what happened to Sanctuary?
[02:35:52] Speaker B: Absolutely. That will have been a big project for Lucretia ever since, over the past year. Yes.
[02:36:00] Speaker A: So as. As you have got nose deep into books and scrolls that you've been scribbling over, a slight tap, a little tap of a staff you can hear on your door, not even waiting to be invited in. And your sister, obviously still much older. Your sister Valyria steps in and she's just like.
She's just like.
Any. Any progress, my dear?
[02:36:30] Speaker B: Has there been any progress? Nathan?
[02:36:33] Speaker A: You tell me. Has there been any progress?
[02:36:36] Speaker B: Blimey.
[02:36:40] Speaker C: I think.
[02:36:41] Speaker B: Yeah. She looks up and says, it's coming along. I've got some. I've got some theories, but I might need to bounce them off. Bounce them off you before I come to any firm conclusion.
[02:36:57] Speaker A: Well, I mean, that's. That's good.
I'm. Well, we've had a rather. Rather big.
A rather big hint on where we could look next. Where we can find.
Where we could possibly find where Lady Blessing is hiding out.
[02:37:18] Speaker B: Really?
Has there been. Has there been a sighting or.
[02:37:21] Speaker A: There has been a sighting of Casula.
And I know in. In the past that you weren't much one for going out on adventures like me, but I was wondering maybe this time we could. Could go out as a pair, grab some explorers and we'll.
[02:37:45] Speaker D: We'll.
[02:37:45] Speaker A: We'll go out as sisters.
[02:37:48] Speaker B: You know what?
I would love nothing more. And might I suggest one member of our party who could join us.
You've not met him before. He's.
[02:38:02] Speaker A: Oh, I've seen. I've seen him hanging. I've seen him hanging around. Don't you always him for younger men?
[02:38:09] Speaker B: Fine creature. Fine.
[02:38:11] Speaker A: Guilty as char, but he is. He would definitely make a.
A worthy colleague.
Yes, I wholly agree.
He is.
As. As.
As Valyria comes in and starts preparing you on this next adventure that the two of you will take.
Finally assist us.
[02:38:37] Speaker B: Oh, that's nice.
[02:38:40] Speaker A: We.
Bo, where do we find you?
[02:38:48] Speaker C: I think, well, Bo, he finishes one last job and you find him back at his ranch on a hot day and him and his daddy, him and Grimble are rebuilding the old ranch house together.
And he's putting it up and he's. Yeah. Rebuilding the homestead.
Grimble can't really do much anymore. He's pretty weather beaten.
But he's certainly managing from afar.
[02:39:37] Speaker A: Yeah, he's sort of been managing from afar. He's been waving his fingers. He's just like. Now you go. You go do that, son. You do that. That's sad. And.
But he's. You've. You've been hammering away for a while, but you've noticed that he's been very quiet for a few minutes. As you've noticed. He's sort of.
[02:39:57] Speaker D: He's.
[02:39:58] Speaker A: He's gone. He's sort of out of his.
He's out of his usual shouting spot.
But as. As you sort of lower yourself down from this ladder as you're fixing up the ranch and you. You head back into.
As you head back into your sort of kitchen area, he's sitting there and he's like. He's like, son, there was a. There was a man at the door. He had. He had an envelope for you.
[02:40:28] Speaker C: For me?
[02:40:29] Speaker A: Yeah.
And he hands you this. This envelope with a seal that you're not. You've never seen before.
[02:40:38] Speaker C: Yeah, probably just bills.
Puts it in the b.
[02:40:45] Speaker F: Call to adventure.
[02:40:46] Speaker C: Nah, nah, I think he'll get his little dagger out of his little side pocket, flip the seal open, have a little read
[02:41:00] Speaker A: in there. There's only, like, us. There's a check for like a local. For like a local bank that's fairly close to you. A blank of. From the bank of Avermore.
And it is a check for quite an astounding amount of money. Oh, and it is in your name, Beauregard.
And with that, there is also a little note that just says, we know it was you.
Thank you.
Well, what is it, son?
[02:41:36] Speaker C: Yeah, just a little something something.
Just that.
Well, we can certainly pull that new fence down the back there now, dad.
[02:41:53] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. You always. You always looked out for my son. And he. And he smiles and he's like, how about him?
How about some iced tea?
[02:42:07] Speaker C: Beau agrees and says he's just got to do something first.
And taking the check, he's going to go to his writing desk and he's going to write out a note to Lucretia and he's going to say that he owes half of what he's been paid for his bounty in Lucretia.
She actually killed the bounty. No, he'll write a little note.
Hey, babe, this is yours.
Where's the best?
Do you have a bank account? Where did I send it to?
[02:43:04] Speaker E: Send me your Monzo.
[02:43:05] Speaker C: Yeah, what is your demo account?
See you later.
Regard. Kiss, kids.
Puts it down and puts it in his.
Yeah, puts it to Send out later.
[02:43:23] Speaker A: And as we pan away from your. From your ranch and. And Grimble making iced tea.
Where do we find Pali?
[02:43:33] Speaker D: Yeah, I think in the.
In the year since the Sanctuary venture it's taken him, he's done a lot of soul searching. I think if exploring is really what he wants to do, especially after the chat with Rejoice, not sure if he just wants to be a copy of his dad.
So where we find Halle is probably in Falstrom.
I think he is on a break from exploring for a little while. You'll see everyone.
I think he's taking a little job, maybe even helping out at the Sanctuary, helping out around town, just doing some small jobs and just looking out for himself for a change.
I think the blue regalia is gone and he's in simpler still like soldier's garb, I would suppose. I think he's take a little while to get out of that habit, but I think he's allowing himself to be a young man. I don't think he's really allowed himself to be made like really got close with the Sanctuary folk who've settled since they've come back.
[02:44:54] Speaker A: So with you, you are. You're just sort of filling up a couple of the last barrels to head on into Sanctuary. You're sort of like pulling yourself out from sort of like the. Under the basement of the bar.
And as you sort of like.
As you bend to sort of crick your back in the sort of warm sun of sort of like a. An early afternoon, a late afternoon, you can't help but hear like a sort of like a high pitched, sort of like chattering something that you've actually come to. Well known fairly recently since you've been in Faustrom of a.
Of an orange sprite, an orange bite woman, young orange bright woman.
And she is. She's holding a book and she's scribbling frantically as she is trying to catch up with.
With a rather large dragonsent who you remember or you've known for a while and you've been hanging out with while you're in Faustrom as Fenway.
And she's just like. And. And then what happened? What happened when, when. When the. Everyone came out and. And you were the only one who kept your. Kept your powers. How did that make you feel?
[02:46:19] Speaker D: And.
[02:46:20] Speaker A: And Finway's just like we've. We've spoken about this before. Like I've. I've given you notes and it like I want to just celebrate with my parents. Is that. Is that okay? I. I don't really know.
I've just. I just stayed like this. Okay?
[02:46:37] Speaker D: And.
[02:46:38] Speaker A: And she kind of goes like, oh, okay, remember, we've got a meeting tomorrow at. At 10.
We're gonna. We're gonna go over some. We're going to go over some more information and. And then we'll. We'll send a letter to the professor and we can. We can chat with him about this because I think he'll be really interested. And Finley is just like, fine, fine, fine, fine. Look, look, come. Come by later. Come enjoy. Come and enjoy. Just stop writing notes. Come and enjoy the. The welcome party.
She's just like, maybe. Can I ask you a couple more questions while I'm there? And he's like, maybe.
So they're having this. This bicker. And he tr. And he's trying his best, and he's looking at you, Paligo, just trying to sort of, like, move her away as. As he. She finally sort of runs off.
And he.
He just kind of breathes a breath of just relief. And he just goes like, ah.
Just like how? Like, I don't know why I stayed. I don't know why I stayed this way. Maybe like.
Like, maybe it was just meant to be.
[02:47:40] Speaker D: I guess.
[02:47:41] Speaker A: I was always meant to be this way.
And he smiles and he looks at you and he just says, you're coming in. I'm gonna start making up some more food.
[02:47:54] Speaker D: Do you need a hand?
[02:47:56] Speaker A: Yes, please.
[02:47:58] Speaker C: Sure.
[02:48:00] Speaker D: Fenway, for the record, I think the reason why you may have stayed is if you feel the most yourself this
[02:48:09] Speaker C: way,
[02:48:11] Speaker D: it was a blessing, right? Like, I think me more than anyone probably understands what it's like to feel the most secure in oneself. And if you feel the most yourself, how you are, then maybe that's why it stayed.
[02:48:29] Speaker A: He. He smiles and he nods and he thinks. I think I'm pretty sure that's the way.
And he.
He smiles at you and he blushes. And then he says, I. I'm gonna get in. I'll see you in a bit. And he rushes in.
And. Pally, as you.
As you feel as seeing Finway, sort of like going on this journey of.
Of accepting himself in a body that's obviously what he was meant to be this whole time and enjoying this new life for yourself here in Fahlstrom, where do we find Virgil?
[02:49:14] Speaker F: Virgil is in the forest in his little hut making some soup.
[02:49:24] Speaker B: It's the same. Full circle.
[02:49:27] Speaker F: Yeah, it's the rolling soup.
[02:49:31] Speaker B: It's been rolling all this time.
[02:49:33] Speaker F: Technically, it went with him to sanctuary. And now it's back.
[02:49:38] Speaker B: It's like a sour day starter. You never sort of finish it. It just keeps growing, just keep taking from it.
[02:49:46] Speaker A: What has. What has Virgil been doing over the past year?
[02:49:51] Speaker F: He spent in the aftermath of. Immediately everyone getting back. He spent as long as it took trying to help to heal everyone, doing what he could with his healing abilities.
I think that was his. That's been his prime goal. And then as soon as that was fine and everyone started going their different ways, it was clear that the worst was over.
He just toddled back to his little hut.
I don't think he felt any particular need to change what he was doing before.
If anything, it kind of.
He realized that he was where he wanted to be. And doing what he'd been doing, helping to heal people, keeping an eye on this part of the forest, is.
Brings him that joy.
And so he's remained,
[02:50:43] Speaker A: I think, with the.
With the amount of healing that you had done. So in the aftermath of Sanctuary, people were. People started regaining their sort of color back. They started regaining their.
Basically their mana back after the dispersion of what you believe their magic was being used for.
And with a little bit of a helping hand from you, Virgil, and sort of like the knowledge that you had now from Sanctuary, you were able to pretty much revive everyone, including the goblin woman who you remember back from the traitor's camp. You've been able to heal her.
And you hear sort of like a. A short knocking on your door, and they. They politely wait.
[02:51:36] Speaker F: Oh, come in.
[02:51:39] Speaker A: As the. The. The wolfkin woman who you remember from the traitor's camp, Carmen sort of like opens. Tries to jam the door open.
[02:51:48] Speaker F: It's a bit stiff. You just have to kind of give it a kick.
[02:51:53] Speaker A: And she.
She sort of like pops her head in and she's just like, oh, hey, I was just wondering if you were gonna come to the.
To the. To the opening party. To the opening party of the sanctuary.
[02:52:08] Speaker F: Yes, yes, we were just coming. I was just finishing off my soup.
You can help me carry it.
[02:52:14] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, sure, definitely. And she. And as she sort of comes in, the. The goblin woman, who you remember, Bolt, she sort of like turns around again and she's just like. Did you add. Did you add any salt this time?
[02:52:35] Speaker F: What must be brought to the soup arrives in the soup. I am of the soup.
[02:52:41] Speaker C: Yeah, that's.
[02:52:42] Speaker A: That's what I'm afraid of.
As.
As the two of them. As the two of them come in and help you sort of like collect your cauldron.
And how is Brother Talons? What has Brother Talons been doing in the past year.
[02:52:57] Speaker F: He's been bulking.
[02:52:59] Speaker A: I think he's.
[02:52:59] Speaker F: He's had to get used to.
Virgil has been attempting an owl form to sort of. He feels like Brother Talons who are also owls. And so he's been attempting to.
To be an owl with his owl friend. Brother Talons isn't particularly fooled or impressed, but he will come with them to. To the Soup Deliverance, to the new Soup Deliverance.
[02:53:29] Speaker A: And, and as Carmen and bolt open the door for you and you sort of slip yourself out with Brother Talons flying high into the sky as your. Your cabin has had like a couple of extra small sort of like additions to it. There's a beautiful garden now that sort of resembles the same sort of garden that you once had in the monastery.
It seems like some people have given you just like a little bit of helping hand to restore some.
To restore something that gives you a little bit of. Of a reminder of the past.
And as Brother Talon sort of swoops up and he swoops into the sky, will take our camera down to wherever Myrden is.
Murden, what are you up to?
[02:54:16] Speaker E: So Myrdden's sat on a. On the same stone wall that we first found him on in the streets of Avonmoor. He's got another apple in his hand that he's slowly about to start chewing on.
And his brow furrows as he hears the irritating clawing voices of those three wolfkin boys in the explorer training yard behind him.
And he like, scrunches his face and then takes a deep breath and, yeah, he slowly turns his head to look at the three of them.
His left, his right eye, the stone eye no longer glows. And neither does the pendant around his neck, the little runic stone.
And the three orbiting stones. The three stones that normally orbit him aren't there anymore.
And he lets out this direct.
Stop that.
And he looks at them with the authority of the explorer trainer that he now is.
[02:55:36] Speaker A: And as these three, as these three wolfkin like, giggling and, and like jibbing at one another, hear that booming voice of you shouting, stop it.
They immediately like, fall in line.
[02:55:53] Speaker E: Your voices are sharp and shrill enough to shear a goat.
Be quiet.
[02:56:00] Speaker A: And they're just. And they sort of like nod their heads and they're like, yes, yes, sir.
[02:56:04] Speaker E: Yes, sir.
[02:56:06] Speaker A: As they suddenly start sort of backing, backing away.
[02:56:10] Speaker E: I keep the stink face until I sort of like turn back round to where I originally was, like, facing the direction I was. And then there's this wry smile that like creeps across his face when he knows that they can't see him anymore.
And he puffs his cheeks out and kind of takes a bite of his apple as he begins heading back into the. The training quarters of.
Of the.
Of. Of the Guild hall.
And I think as he kind of gets it as he finishes off his apple because he does it in like some mighty prestigious bites.
Just demolishes this thing.
I feel like he walks up beside this sanguivar and claps him on the shoulder.
Carl, how are they doing?
As I. As he looks across the.
[02:57:05] Speaker A: The training recruits, how they doing?
[02:57:11] Speaker D: He kind of gives like a kind of gruff nod.
Well, better than they were yesterday.
Not much, but better.
[02:57:24] Speaker C: Well.
[02:57:25] Speaker E: Well I suppose we've got a lot of time.
It's not like they're gonna need to use these skills anytime soon.
[02:57:34] Speaker B: Many lols.
[02:57:40] Speaker D: I. I do genuinely feel like Callum me to get on incredibly well.
[02:57:47] Speaker E: Yeah, probably.
[02:57:50] Speaker A: And.
And Maiden and Cal, as we pan away from you, our camera draws back and back away from avam and away from the forests and the other towns and villages and cities that sort of like scan around it.
Far away from ftrom, far away from any other landscapes that the explorers have yet to find.
And we find ourselves in a dense forest, but calm and serene.
Sitting on the. On the grassy floor talking to her companion, a small orange dragon spawn.
We find Lady Rejoice.
She has. She is dressed up for travel with a large traveling pack with her as well.
She slowly brings herself to her feet as the forest around her starts to maneuver and sway with the breeze.
As coming through the woodland shows a large goat like world spirit.
She gently lifts up her hand to the creature and the creature lowers its muzzle down and rests it softly into the palm of her hand.
I hope you and mother are well.
I'm. I'm sad that she didn't feel she could travel with me. But I am glad that she is residing within you and that she is safe.
There's no.
There's no talking or anything from the world spirit. Just a.
Just a soft and pleasant breeze just rustles through all of the forest.
But it gives a sense of all.
Well now.
She releases her hand from Casula's muzzle and looks down at her tiny companion.
Come on, Profin. We have a lot of ground to cover and I have lots to explore.
[03:00:32] Speaker E: This.
[03:00:33] Speaker A: This brand new Elsewhere.
Provin lifts himself up and he spirals himself in the air around Lady Rejoice.
Obviously eager to join her in their brand new adventure together out in Elsewhere.
Meanwhile in Elsewhere, A large floating behemoth of A fortress stands proudly in the skies, unknown to where it hovers above.
We zoom in through the front door, through the barricades, past soldiers flanked in green and gold, up into a throne room where two figures sit in large thrones.
One an ace of our man flanked in the green and gold, and one of a sanguivar lady with a tightly bob large royal earrings and a sort of glass crystallized glowing arm.
And in front of them kneels an ace of our man, bandages wrapped around his eyes.
As the man figures to look up, he. He uses his best. Now we're no longer gifted with the sight of the Black Guard, he tries his best to recognize his patron.
And he's like My lady, it took me a while. I'm. I'm sorry. But I am back now.
I am.
I am back to know where we go next with this plan.
[03:02:53] Speaker E: You're absolutely right, Kickfren.
You have been away for a long time.
The plans have been proceeding well without you.
Tell me, what is it that you think you can do for us now?
[03:03:23] Speaker A: Kick Fran Kickfran finds himself stuttering and he says, I know that my eyesight is gone, but I still am equipped with all of the experience and knowledge that I previously had.
Give me a chance to prove that I am still loyal to you.
[03:03:54] Speaker E: I will say that your efforts a year ago have borne particularly magnificent, Frank.
The archives from Eldevar have taught us much.
But as for you, Kick Frank, my little Raven, I do not appreciate your falseness and your lies.
You are not the man you once were.
And as you of all people should know, I despise broken things.
[03:04:48] Speaker A: And as Kick Fran tries to try to retort back to the this try to fight for his side, you see Nephene Valimar sort of give a look over to her husband Orin Sorrow, and she only just has to glare at him to give him the sign. He raises his gauntleted hand up as the number of soldiers come grabbing Kick frown at each side and dragging him away.
[03:05:25] Speaker E: Die well my little raven, and know that upon your shoulders the glory of the houses will rise again.
[03:05:41] Speaker A: And with that we will call it there.
