[00:00:00] Speaker A: Hello and welcome, everybody, to Explorers of Elsewhere's Elysia Rising campaign. Hi, I am DM Dan, and I would be thrilled to introduce you to Julia, Errol, J.C. nate and Meg. Hello. Hello.
[00:00:17] Speaker B: Hi.
[00:00:18] Speaker C: Hello.
[00:00:20] Speaker A: We are.
We are on the final downtime of Campaign two. We have. There's been lots of.
Lots of excitement, and I think it's just time to, you know, slow it down a little bit. Just have a. Have a little chill out, if that's all right with you lot.
[00:00:38] Speaker D: I don't think that's gonna happen, Dan.
[00:00:40] Speaker A: I don't know. I'm. I'm imagining, you know, cozy seats by the fire, everyone in their slippers, cups of tea. Oh, it's going to be glorious, isn't it?
[00:00:52] Speaker B: Sure.
[00:00:54] Speaker A: Who would like to get their dressing gowns on and start this very luxurious chill sesh?
[00:01:03] Speaker E: Way ahead of you. Got the udion. I'm ready.
[00:01:07] Speaker A: Amazing. Amazing. Right? Let's go for it.
Welcome to Elysia, the jewel of the north. On our gilded streets, fortune and fame.
[00:01:23] Speaker B: Can be found by anyone.
Hi, I'm Julia, and I'm playing Magpie, an ace of our lurk.
[00:01:32] Speaker D: Hi, I'm Nate, and I'm playing a dragon scent slide.
[00:01:37] Speaker E: Hi, I'm Meg. I'm playing Frieda, a wolfkin cutter.
[00:01:42] Speaker C: Hi, I'm J.C. and I'll be playing Algernon, an ace of R. Spider.
[00:01:47] Speaker F: Hello, I'm Erol. I am playing Atta, a goblin whisper.
[00:01:52] Speaker A: And my name is DM Dan. I will be the games master on this adventure. So come on in and marvel at our wonders.
[00:02:02] Speaker B: Make sure you see the beautiful views.
[00:02:04] Speaker E: We have to offer.
[00:02:05] Speaker A: And don't mind the ghosts. They're friendly, really. Grab yourselves a seat and make yourselves welcome.
[00:02:12] Speaker B: In the city of Elysia.
[00:02:20] Speaker A: The veil is failing.
These four words have caused untold turmoil throughout the city of Elysia since they were uttered by Taro, the enigmatic lady in purple. The cascade of events since Memorial Day only weeks ago has paved the way for the best and worst of the citizens of Elysia in spite of the looming threat of annihilation. In the endless void, there are many stories of renewed companionship as Elysians turn to one another for comfort, advice, or hope.
In these moments, does the true strength of the people present itself? That despite all that will come to pass, it can be tackled together.
On this one particular evening, five members of a relatively new smuggling crew find themselves seeking solace and closure with others in the city so that they may come together for one final night before facing oblivion together.
And so we will jump Straight into some downtime off the back of your very, very busy montage score.
You have successfully negotiated a truce, at the very least, between the marionettes and the kindling. Something which, if you had presented that as an option a few weeks ago, would have seen utterly, utterly ludicrous, but that you have managed. You have, you know, you've got some allies to behind you, like, alongside you as you go into the final. The final score. But before then, yeah, let's get some downtime out the way, because you lot earned it.
So the crew, we'll start off with rep. The crew earns 3 rep, thanks to your leverage ability.
Cool. The target of the score was a higher tier than you. Now, I'm going to say yes, because fundamentally the. The targets of your score, quote, unquote, were the marionettes and the kindling.
The marionettes, if nothing else, is tier three, which is one higher than you. So that's another one for you. And arguably, I don't think there's anyone in Elysia's underbelly, criminal underbelly, that hasn't. Wouldn't have heard of your exploits throughout the city.
So that is a grand total of four rep, which is enough to tick you up to the next tier. Ooh.
So we will. We will have a little look at that, because it's quite expensive for you to upgrade, but if you do manage it, you will be Tier A, Tier 3 faction going into the finale.
Right, so, moving on. Coin.
The crew earns coin based on the nature of the operation and any or loot they seized. So I'm going to say that between the five scores and the bits and bobs that you made off with as you did it, that was a def. Definitively a big score. So I'm thinking 8 coin.
However, in the money.
In the money.
So, yeah, eight coin. A big score. Serious loot.
Are you.
Question for the group. Are you paying the ili?
[00:06:31] Speaker B: Get lost.
[00:06:32] Speaker D: No, we paid them with death.
[00:06:38] Speaker A: You definitely did. Okay, so you're keeping all eight coin to yourself?
[00:06:42] Speaker B: Yes, please.
[00:06:43] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, so the.
The vault has five in it.
So we can fill up the vault and then I'll drop a coin in each of your.
[00:06:56] Speaker F: Yeah, baby.
[00:06:59] Speaker A: Each of your character sheets separately. Lovely. That is the eight.
[00:07:03] Speaker B: That is lovely, isn't it?
[00:07:04] Speaker A: Oh, lovely. Very lovely.
Which means you have 13 coin between you all.
[00:07:15] Speaker B: And how many do we need to.
[00:07:17] Speaker A: Upgrade to tier three requires 16 coins.
[00:07:20] Speaker B: So we're three off.
[00:07:21] Speaker A: You're three off. For now.
[00:07:24] Speaker B: For now.
[00:07:27] Speaker A: So, yeah, coin, that is pretty much. That's well that's the normal amount for coin, but you collectively have a upgrade.
You have a vice, then we do.
So a tier roll minus heat equals coin in downtime. Okay, so we'll do that in a bit when we do the heat next up. Leveling up. So, yes, the last score was quite frenetic, as you are all literally all over the city doing lots of, like, multiple jobs to the detriment of your physical and mental, well, beings.
[00:08:09] Speaker E: That's what we do best.
[00:08:11] Speaker A: That's what we do best. So we will start. Let's start with Frida down at the bottom there.
Hello. Hello. So in terms of desperate action roles, you made an almighty three desperate roles in the last score. Two skirmishes and one command. So if we add those pips onto your.
Onto your character shape, you've got any upgrades?
[00:08:36] Speaker E: Yes. So I'm gonna upgrade prowess. So I'm gonna zero that back and I'm gonna stick another pip inst skirmish.
[00:08:44] Speaker A: Oh, so it takes you up to three in skirmish.
[00:08:47] Speaker E: It does, yeah.
[00:08:48] Speaker A: Amazing. Okay, so that's that. Did you do anything particularly freedery?
[00:08:57] Speaker E: I think I did. I intimidated a guard to get into the brothel that I can't remember the name of, and I did lots of fighting. Lots and lots of fighting. So I did some fighting again in the brothel and may have accidentally stabbed a man to death.
[00:09:18] Speaker A: And, yeah, accidents happen, you know. Whoops.
[00:09:23] Speaker E: And then I also did some, like, skirmishing in the crowd whilst trying to, like, save Vecna's dude from being executed in public. So I did that as well.
[00:09:38] Speaker A: Yeah. This sounds very much like a 2:2 XP setup. Did you express your belief, drives, heritage, or background?
[00:09:48] Speaker D: I mean, you used the sword, didn't you?
[00:09:50] Speaker E: I did use the wolfkin sword, if we're counting that.
[00:09:54] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:09:54] Speaker E: I think.
What do I do? I mean, I did a lot of cutter stuff.
I did a lot of, like. I don't know whether it kind of counts. Like, actually, no, I don't think I really did that much. I just. I just. I just be. Be Frieda for. For the whole session, you know, just.
[00:10:16] Speaker A: Yeah, we'll call. We'll call that one. Did you struggle with your vital traumas?
[00:10:22] Speaker E: Oh, I don't know. I think stabbing someone to death is pretty reckless.
[00:10:27] Speaker A: Yes, there was. And you went.
[00:10:29] Speaker E: And also sort of using myself as a meat shield to stop, again, Velka's dude getting, like, shot.
[00:10:38] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, you definitely went gung ho at a command. A watch commander with a gun. Okay, cool. That sounds like 4xp for Frieda.
[00:10:47] Speaker F: Cool.
[00:10:48] Speaker E: I can stick that Anywhere. Oh, in that case, I can level up resolve as well. Oh, yeah.
[00:10:53] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:10:55] Speaker E: Leveling up resolve and putting that in command. So I've got three in command now.
[00:11:00] Speaker A: Three in command and the other two.
[00:11:03] Speaker E: Can go in abilities.
[00:11:06] Speaker A: Okay, sure. Amazing. Okay, there we go.
So next up is. Let's go for Catherine.
[00:11:15] Speaker D: Hello.
[00:11:16] Speaker A: Hello.
You did a double desperate sway.
[00:11:21] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:11:23] Speaker A: So let's. If that tax in.
Does that give you any upgrades?
[00:11:28] Speaker D: It does indeed. That clears my track for resolve. So I'm wondering what I should go for, because I've already got three in sway, which I feel like does me. Okay, should I. I mean, I've got a pip in a tune already. Should I go for another attune? Because we do seem to be dealing with some ghosty roasty stuff, some magicy wagicky things.
Or I could go for another one in consort.
I feel like a tune might be better. So I think I'm gonna go for a tune.
[00:11:59] Speaker A: Okay. So tune goes up to two.
Amazing.
So did you do any slidy things?
I.
[00:12:13] Speaker D: Well, yes, actually I did because I. I disguised myself as an EIC person to get through. Yeah. So I particularly. That's particularly slidy you put on that false snout.
[00:12:27] Speaker A: Yes. False nose.
[00:12:32] Speaker D: I tried to deceive the guard at the.
At the brothel. It didn't go very well. You still didn't let us in. It's the thought that counts though.
[00:12:41] Speaker A: So.
[00:12:41] Speaker D: Yeah, those are the only two things I can think of.
[00:12:44] Speaker A: That's fine. That's two. Two for two. Did you express your belief strife, heritage or background?
[00:12:53] Speaker D: I did talk about why I left the faith to the garden keepers.
[00:12:58] Speaker A: Yeah. I would also argue you selflessly volunteered.
[00:13:04] Speaker D: To go after Vauntham with Amber.
[00:13:07] Speaker A: With Amber, Yeah. So I guess, yeah, you brought Amber along. You brought a civilian along to a sword fight she loved.
Okay, well, yeah, we can say that's at least two.
Did you struggle with your vice or traumas? So your vice?
[00:13:26] Speaker D: I think so.
[00:13:27] Speaker A: No, no, no. You were quite on point in this one. So that sounds like four XP for Catherine. Nice. With those XP pips that you've those four xp, does that tip you over for anything else?
[00:13:39] Speaker D: Almost.
[00:13:40] Speaker A: Almost. Almost. Okay. No worries. No worries. Keep an eye on that. So next up, we'll carry on up the chain. Algernon Also getting down and dirty with three desperate. A desperate command and two desperate consorts.
Does that tip you over or that.
[00:14:02] Speaker C: Tips me over in resolve?
[00:14:04] Speaker A: Oh, and what we going for?
[00:14:07] Speaker C: I think I'm gonna put my third pip into command, seeing as we've got A lot of new allies that might need bossing about.
[00:14:16] Speaker A: Yeah. Going into the finale, that makes a lot of sense.
With your new pip in third Pip in command, did you do anything Spidery?
[00:14:30] Speaker C: I. I did persuade the leader of a religion to give me. Give me her most important artifact and also burn down all of their property.
[00:14:41] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Can't. Can't review that. Yeah. I mean I can also argue the fact that you effectively. You would have kind of masterminded Mastermind five scores.
[00:14:59] Speaker C: And this, this whole thing where like we. We've done it all before they asked us to do it.
[00:15:04] Speaker A: Yes, yes. Okay. So certainly at least two there. Did you express your belief drives, heritage or background?
[00:15:12] Speaker C: Yeah, I think so. I went back to the eic. It didn't go as I planned it to, but I did sort of make some kind of amends with them.
And then I also in my persuasion for. For the Garden keepers, I sort of related it to my experience in the foreign service dealing with indigenous peoples and their way of burning things.
[00:15:34] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, so that's two for two for you there. Did you struggle with your vice apart from the fact that it is non existent?
[00:15:49] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't think I did.
[00:15:51] Speaker A: Okay, in which case that is 4 xp for Algernon as well. And does that tick you up for anything?
[00:15:58] Speaker C: I'm completely blanking everything, so it's not quite enough to do anything.
[00:16:03] Speaker A: We will see which track you put those in. Okay, but perfect.
Next up, whiz Errol with Atta. So Atta did a desperate attune that that looks like it takes you up to a full XP bar.
[00:16:23] Speaker F: It sure does.
[00:16:25] Speaker A: It sure do. Okay, what is your new pip in the resolve category going in? Because it can't go in a tune.
[00:16:33] Speaker F: It can't?
[00:16:35] Speaker A: No. You've got your maximum of three.
[00:16:38] Speaker F: Yikes.
I feel like because Atta has been compelling ghosts lately, maybe command would make sense.
[00:16:51] Speaker A: Yeah, that tracks. So your first pip in command also shores up your resolve roles.
Marvelous. So did you do any whispery things?
[00:17:07] Speaker F: I did like one main whispery thing. It was mostly calling in a ghost of songbird to scare the assassin. The other things that Atta did you could maybe argue are alike smart. Therefore addressing a challenge with knowledge. Like using these sound systems to amplify Tarian's voice.
[00:17:36] Speaker A: But if you can argue it, I reckon. Are we in agreement at used her big no Watts?
[00:17:44] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah.
[00:17:46] Speaker F: I also, I think ATA also like carefully distributed the flammable items from maximum flammability at the shrine.
[00:17:56] Speaker A: Yes, yes. You. You spent and I assume also spent a long time perfecting your maniacal laughter as the whole thing went up in flames.
Marvelous. Did you express belief strife, heritage or background?
[00:18:10] Speaker F: I think not particularly.
Not particularly. Strongly background is trade.
[00:18:21] Speaker A: We didn't do. Did you command ghost?
[00:18:24] Speaker D: You brought a piece.
[00:18:25] Speaker F: I did do command ghost.
[00:18:26] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:18:27] Speaker F: Yeah, but that was in the ill. Na. I've already got an exp for it.
[00:18:33] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:18:34] Speaker D: No, you can get more XP for doing it.
[00:18:36] Speaker A: Yeah, I mean, it's. Well, there's a part of me that thinks like when I think of Atta and how like her one size fits all plan involves summoning ghosts pretty much. So, yeah, if. If every. If every problem is a nail, then every solution is a ghost with a hammer. Someone. I don't know, something like that. You know what? Let's say. Let's say at least one, but anything else? Any, like, drives or anything goblin?
[00:19:09] Speaker F: Nothing particularly goblin either. Still time.
[00:19:12] Speaker A: And did you struggle with your voice?
[00:19:17] Speaker F: No.
Att's been pretty good.
[00:19:21] Speaker A: She has been very well behaved. That's. That's fair. That's fair. Okay, so it sounds like 3 XP, 4 ATTA.
And last but not least, Magpie did a desperate finesse in the montage.
Yeah, does that.
[00:19:39] Speaker F: It does.
[00:19:40] Speaker B: It fills my prowess bar.
[00:19:42] Speaker A: Oh, so. And what's.
What's Magpie putting a new pip in?
[00:19:49] Speaker B: So it sounds like we're not allowed to go up to four pips in anything.
[00:19:53] Speaker A: Correct, yes.
[00:19:54] Speaker B: Okay.
So it's going to be either finesse or skirmish, I reckon.
What do people think? What's gonna be probably skirmish for the end. For the end game, I would suspect.
[00:20:10] Speaker D: Might be more handy twat some people.
[00:20:12] Speaker B: Might need to twat some people. So I'm putting it in skirmish.
[00:20:14] Speaker A: Okay, Marvelous. So a third pip in skirmish. Marvelous.
And then did you do any lurky things?
[00:20:26] Speaker B: I reckon I did.
I did a bit of sneaking down into that basement to save the marionettes.
[00:20:34] Speaker A: True. Yes.
[00:20:38] Speaker B: You could argue that the bit of sleight of hand she did in the EIC was fairly lurky when we went and recovered the files.
[00:20:45] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, no, I'm happy. Happy with that. Did you do any. Did you do anything based off your belief, strives, heritage or background?
[00:20:53] Speaker B: So I would argue that the little speech Magpie gave to convince Velka and Songbird to work together was kind of about the, you know, the unfairness of society and how the rich and powerful leave all of the poor behind and, you know, screw them over to their own benefit. So I feel that that is very much speaks to Magpie's Disillusionment with wealth and power journey that she's been on.
[00:21:24] Speaker A: Yeah, no, I agree with that.
Can you think. Is there anything else you could think of?
[00:21:29] Speaker B: Nothing specifically. I think more she was just being just. She was just going along for the ride and doing her job, which is just what Magpie tends to do, I think.
[00:21:39] Speaker A: And did you struggle with your issues of obligation, your vice? Well, you know what?
[00:21:45] Speaker B: I'm feeling breathless, breezy on that front recently, so no.
[00:21:50] Speaker A: Okay.
In which case, that sounds like 3xp4 magpie as well.
Does that take you over?
[00:21:59] Speaker B: It does. I can get a new ability now with one of those three. Well, I might need some help because for lurks are there. There are no, like, generic ones we can choose from, are there? With their own. They're all class specific, playbook specific. Yeah, that's fine. In which case, I'm thinking of going for either expertise, which means I can pick an ability and then I can lead group actions and that ability with only a maximum of one stress.
[00:22:32] Speaker A: Oh, wow.
[00:22:32] Speaker B: And I think that would clearly be prowl, because group prowls are kind of magpies jam. Or maybe shadow, which is I can expend my special armor to resist a consequence from detection or security measures or to push myself for a feat of athletics or strength. So one or the other, I think.
[00:22:52] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:22:52] Speaker A: So bear in mind that that will be the same special armor that your lore of our ace of arms.
[00:22:58] Speaker B: That is the only thing against that one. Because it does sound really cool. It's more cinematic, that one. But expertise is just gonna be handy, potentially.
So maybe I'll go for the solid, boring one.
[00:23:13] Speaker A: What expertise?
[00:23:15] Speaker B: Yeah. What do you guys think? Is it too boring?
[00:23:18] Speaker F: What? What makes you feel the most joy?
[00:23:22] Speaker E: It's the end of the campaign. Pick something cool.
[00:23:26] Speaker D: Pick something cool.
[00:23:27] Speaker A: Yeah. Like daredevil.
[00:23:29] Speaker B: No, I don't want to be a daredevil.
[00:23:31] Speaker A: You get extra dice when you do.
[00:23:33] Speaker B: A desperate and then minus one to any resistance rolls.
[00:23:36] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:23:39] Speaker B: Well, maybe. Maybe I should get the shadow. Yeah, I feel like she's a shadow. Let's go for it.
[00:23:46] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:23:47] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:23:47] Speaker A: So you are gaining the shadow ability.
[00:23:50] Speaker B: Nice.
[00:23:52] Speaker A: Wonderful. So that is that for the players, for the crew.
So the crew has two XP in the chamber already.
Did you do any crew specific XP triggers?
So.
[00:24:15] Speaker E: Or did we do a smuggle?
[00:24:17] Speaker A: Did you do a smuggler?
I mean, historically, we have been rather generous with our interpretation of the term smuggling.
[00:24:31] Speaker F: So we could argue Algernon smuggled the seed.
[00:24:35] Speaker A: Yes. You smuggled the Garden Keepers artifact out of the burning temple.
You smuggled the documents on Songbird out of the eic.
[00:24:48] Speaker E: We smuggled Watts's face away from his execution.
[00:24:52] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:24:53] Speaker D: We smuggled the prisoners.
[00:24:54] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:24:55] Speaker F: We smuggled Kavarian.
[00:25:00] Speaker B: Everything's a smuggling job if you say it is.
[00:25:03] Speaker A: If you close your eyes hard enough, everything is a sparkling job.
[00:25:06] Speaker D: We smuggled Songbird and born them together.
[00:25:09] Speaker B: We smuggled away their anti.
[00:25:12] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:25:16] Speaker A: You know what? Because I think I've given you two XP for pretty much every single droplet tradition. Two smuggling XP there. Did you contend with challenges above your current station? 100%.
And in fact you struggled against multiple threats of a higher, higher tier than you. So we'll call that too as well. Did you bolster your cruise reputation or develop a new one? You, you mad lads just tore through the city and did four jobs back to back. So sort it, let's say another two for that. And did you express the goals, drives, inner conflict or essential nature of your crew? I mean, realistically, in that minefield, that was the relationship of Velcro, Songbird.
You know what? This is the last XP. Let's say two for that as well. For a grand total of eight crew XP. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Which wouldn't you know, it fills the crew XP bar up lovely. So the crew is going to get a new upgrade as well. So we've had a quick discussion and we've realized that we didn't actually decide on an upgrade from the last time that we leveled up quite recently. But that's handy because the crew, you've decided to go for veterans for two upgrades and that allows you to pick up an upgrade, an ability from another playbook. And we've la. We've landed on the Bravos, forged in the fire. You get plus one dice to all resistance rolls.
[00:26:58] Speaker B: Nice noise.
[00:27:01] Speaker A: Very, very good. Okay, so that is.
That's the crew advanced and yeah, if we can find three coin, we can upgrade the tier as well.
[00:27:19] Speaker B: Surely we can find three coins, right?
[00:27:21] Speaker A: Can you find. Maybe you can find.
[00:27:23] Speaker B: We need to figure out our heat.
If we can figure out our heat and then do our tier roll minus heat, we will figure out if we've got three coin.
[00:27:31] Speaker A: You can. Yes. Well, so let's talk about heat then.
So realistically.
Realistically, not too much.
We would have to.
[00:27:46] Speaker B: To say not too much.
[00:27:49] Speaker E: Totally under the radar, that it was.
[00:27:51] Speaker A: Loud and chaotic, high exposure. There was at least one slander, one set on fire. Come on. There was at least one execution thwarted.
[00:28:03] Speaker B: Come on.
[00:28:04] Speaker A: It was the.
[00:28:04] Speaker B: That was good. That's A good thing.
[00:28:07] Speaker A: That is 4 heat.
[00:28:09] Speaker B: No money this time at 2 heat.
[00:28:16] Speaker A: If killing was involved.
Stop it. There was. There was a double. A double moider.
However, you lot have an upgrade on your crew.
Yeah, two.
[00:28:33] Speaker B: We take away two.
[00:28:35] Speaker A: Yeah, Takeaway two. So it drops you back four.
[00:28:37] Speaker B: Because of our cover operation.
[00:28:39] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:28:40] Speaker D: Cuz we're cool.
[00:28:42] Speaker A: So that leaves you on four.
[00:28:46] Speaker B: Can any of us reduce heat before we calculate the money?
[00:28:52] Speaker A: You absolutely can, because the. So your vice then operates within downtime. So yeah, you could try to reduce the heat and then we make the roll.
[00:29:01] Speaker B: Very nice. Very nice. And what is a tier roll? Can you just remind me, Dan?
[00:29:06] Speaker A: So you got a tier two. So it is a two dice roll.
[00:29:09] Speaker B: And then you just take the higher dice number. So if we rolled a six and we reduced heat to three, we would get our three coins.
[00:29:21] Speaker A: Correct.
[00:29:21] Speaker B: It's a tall order.
[00:29:22] Speaker A: Correct. Is it? Unless you get your heat lower, closer to zero. And then you have a much better chance with the vice devil. Cool.
[00:29:32] Speaker E: Just like sell Musto or something.
[00:29:37] Speaker B: I'm up for it.
[00:29:38] Speaker D: Who wants him? How much would we get for him?
[00:29:40] Speaker B: Okay, can we just set the 40 sangrevar to work and we threaten that.
[00:29:47] Speaker D: We'Ll give Musto to someone unless they pay us.
[00:29:49] Speaker E: Frida can go full circle and start her own workhouse, following in the footsteps of Caleb. And then we'll put all the anger farm in there and set them to work as like, you know, basically slaves. And then we'll get rich.
[00:30:05] Speaker D: It's the circle of trauma.
[00:30:09] Speaker A: Okay, so now we've established how much heat you have, it's time to establish an entanglement. Oh, you have four heat.
[00:30:19] Speaker B: Can it be an entanglement? Reduces heat.
[00:30:23] Speaker D: Going to be an entanglement. That gives us money.
[00:30:25] Speaker A: Yeah.
I'm going to roll this dice right here and then.
And then I'm going to get rid of it.
Because the knight is unusually calm in the streets of Alisia, there will be no entanglements in this downtime.
Thanks, Dan.
And then we move into downtime proper.
Okay, so let's start with.
Let's go down in stress order. We'll start with Algernon. Because you are the most stressed. Your joint stress. Joint most stressed with atta. But you also don't have an outlet for it. So. Yeah, let's start with you first.
[00:31:27] Speaker C: I'm just thinking if there's a way I could reduce the heat. But I also would like to go and have a chat with Fairfax.
[00:31:37] Speaker A: Okay.
Is. Sorry, is Fairfax the reduction of heat strategy.
I'm Going to pin it on him?
[00:31:49] Speaker D: No, I'm pin it on his wife.
[00:31:53] Speaker B: I think we get. We get two downtime activities plus a little bit of chatty.
[00:31:58] Speaker C: Cool. In that case, I might want to chat to Davira and see if she can help us reduce some heat. Blackthorn.
[00:32:07] Speaker B: Nice.
[00:32:08] Speaker A: Very, very good. Okay, so, yeah, you find her haunting the corridors of Cabola Damana.
What's. What's the plan? What are you rolling?
[00:32:24] Speaker C: Should I try and command to help us?
[00:32:30] Speaker A: I mean, I'm sure that could definitely not go wrong.
You never know. Yeah, she's.
You're given a room and board. Arguably it's her room board.
[00:32:41] Speaker C: I think I'd actually like to consort with my s. My sister and ask her to help us.
[00:32:49] Speaker A: Okay.
Yeah. What's the. What's the plan? How are you.
But how are you reducing the heat? Specifically, what devious plans are the two of you concocting?
[00:33:04] Speaker C: I think because I know she was so close to Algarve, I might see if she has any. Any way to sort of apply some pressure to the remnants of the Guard and Sergeant Leech and see what's come out. But come out of that riot, she can complicate that any further.
[00:33:24] Speaker A: Okay, now that sounds good.
In which case. Yeah, please, please. Romney a consort.
You know what?
Roll an extra dice as well as Devira helps you in this endeavor.
[00:33:45] Speaker C: It's better. There we go.
[00:33:48] Speaker A: Yeah, pretty much. Pretty much.
Okay, so a five.
That will reduce the heat by two.
So let's. So that drops you down to two already.
But yeah, between the two of you, like Sergeant Watch Commander Leeches, not Sergeant Watch Commander Leeches.
Meteoric rise to power, like the impressiveness of it was rivaled only by the meteoric descent.
As he, like in the aftermath of the botched execution, because not only did he not manage to do an execution of who he was supposed to, he also shot in like an innocent bystander.
And between the two of you, you find that whereas over the past kind of couple of years, the City Watch have fundamentally been institutional bullies, they're almost now running scared from the angered mobs of citizens that are chasing them down in the street and reciprocating all of the violence that the City Watch had been perpetuating back at them.
And yes, as.
As the two of you discover Leech's location and hideout and accidentally allow a few to many people to overhear it, you're able to shift some attention towards him and the Watch that is still loyal to him.
Yeah, you reduced by 2 heat.
What's the next activity with D'Vera again.
[00:35:48] Speaker C: We can look into the Shroud, which was Odal Mercer's alternative to the Veil. Yes, as a sort of long term project.
[00:35:59] Speaker A: Which ability are the two of you using?
[00:36:04] Speaker C: Studying, I think.
[00:36:06] Speaker A: Study.
[00:36:07] Speaker C: Picking up the pieces of his.
Him off him after he was blowing up.
[00:36:15] Speaker A: Okay. So yeah, Dvira won't be able to help on this role. But yeah, two dice. Study will just roll it as like a know vertical is a fortune role. A risky standard role.
Go from there.
[00:36:31] Speaker C: 6.
[00:36:35] Speaker A: So the two of you make inroads into finding out what is left of Odor Mercer's legacy after his very sudden departure from the living.
And there's. There's surprisingly few people that know what the Shroud is like that knew it by that name.
It seemed to be a bit of a. Somewhat of a secret project that Odomus was keeping under wraps. And De Vera supposed that it might be to kind of avoid as much kind of panic and hysteria as they could while they were constructing it. But like Odor Mercer's empire has for all extents and purposes, burnt to ash along with him. And perhaps what's most worrying is that as you've tracked down the people that do know about it, they start to inform you that sites and locations where the Shroud was being constructed across the city because construction had been completed, it was just needed to be pieced together.
Have all been attacked and looted in what seemed to be a string of coordinated strikes.
And one eyewitness that you track down who was there, who seemingly only survived because they managed to hide well enough reports that the. The core of the Shroud, the. The. The generator that processes this kind of spirit energy into back into mana.
That site was attacked by someone wearing a silver raven's mask.
For all extents and purposes, the. The entirety of the. The entirety of the completed Shroud, none of it is accounted for. It has all been stolen.
[00:38:57] Speaker C: How did you know about this in the first place, Tavira?
[00:39:02] Speaker A: The Shroud, brother. Yes, well, it would make do if I did know what was happening within the city. But there were.
There was enough loose lips within the pillars that I managed to pick up on it. And Algarve thought it was rather peculiar that Odor Merce was sending so many of his best and brightest through the veil to usually their expected demises. But enough who came back were intercepted after the fact that we managed to figure out what he was doing.
Of course, the investigation stalled somewhat with the destruction of the Ruby Keep, but it was clear what Oda Merce was doing. A Pragmatic man.
[00:39:58] Speaker C: And you're so much better than me at all this, I suppose.
[00:40:03] Speaker A: Well, I wasn't going to say it, but if you do wish to compliment me, Sir Algernon, then I'll happily take it.
[00:40:09] Speaker C: And what about the Time of Ascendance? Did you.
Did you catch wind of that?
[00:40:15] Speaker A: Well, yes. The whole thing with Nephene. That is something I don't acknowledge easily, but that somewhat caught me off guard. I knew she had high hopes for herself, but I hadn't imagined she would. Her plans carried just as much scorched earth as they seem to have been.
[00:40:41] Speaker C: Her plan to escape this little bubble with her stepmother into some great expedition into the soul field.
[00:40:52] Speaker A: Yes, it's.
It's bold, I'll give her that.
She's dooming a city to make a leap of faith, and she doesn't even know if there's solid ground when she lands.
[00:41:08] Speaker C: You wouldn't ever be tempted to hop in that canoe, would your sister?
[00:41:13] Speaker A: It depends on who else was in the canoe.
She squints at you slightly, and you can see the question on her mind as she studies you.
But then she smiles and doesn't ask it.
[00:41:37] Speaker C: You know, I never had the stamina to be an oarsman.
[00:41:41] Speaker A: She pauses for a moment. The thing about canoes is that they don't carry very many passengers.
You would have to leave quite a lot behind to sail away from this place.
Would you be able to live with that choice?
[00:42:02] Speaker C: Are you asking me, or are you asking your reflection? I know my answer, Jethro.
[00:42:08] Speaker A: She smiles. Well, Algonon, they are one and the same.
She pauses like she's quiet for a moment, and then she turns to you. And we should probably report back with news of the shroud. This disappearance worries me.
Is there.
Oh, that's short. Is there anything else you wanted to quickly touch on before we start the next downtime?
[00:42:36] Speaker C: I would like to go and see Fairfax at his home at some point.
[00:42:40] Speaker A: Sure, sure. Yeah, we'll clear that off. Clear out those bits after the down.
[00:42:45] Speaker C: Times, do all the activities.
[00:42:48] Speaker A: Okay. Next up then, is Atta. What is Atta's first downtime?
[00:42:56] Speaker F: Downtime time?
I think probably going to go with stress reduction first. Okay, so indulging the vice of bubble. Perhaps this is the moment where Atta tries to find some time to go somewhat close to Bubble.
Probably sneaks out trying to elude various people in the crew and otherwise, if possible.
And she's going to spend a long time staring at Bubble. And she's going to think real hard about Grandma to indulge vice.
[00:43:43] Speaker A: She'll stood at bubble's edge.
[00:43:46] Speaker F: Stood at bubble's edge.
[00:43:48] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:43:49] Speaker B: Nose.
[00:43:52] Speaker A: Okay, so go ahead and make me a indulge vice roll. It's now a two dice roll back of either your resolve or prowess.
[00:44:03] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:44:08] Speaker A: Clear for stress. Down to three. As you start, stand at the edge of the veil and kind of look out into the swirling violet void.
Like, as your thoughts wander before kind of forming into the image of your grandmother, you feel that sort of like cold heat kind of radiating from the back of your head forward.
It's the same kind of feeling that you felt now a couple of times. And as you open your eyes, on the other side of the veil is a translucent image of your grandma, mother.
And she has her hands against the veil as if she's just look, and it's just looking at you.
She doesn't say anything. She. She looks at you curiously as if.
It's as if she's not seen you for a while and she doesn't remember who you are. There's a.
There's a look of curiosity on her face and it slightly stands apart. She stands apart from all of the other spirits that line the edge of the dome, that are all kind of snarling and scrabbling and scratching at the shimmering veil. But she's just quite calm in the middle of it.
[00:46:02] Speaker F: I think.
I think Atta just stares for like a solid three to five minutes in silence. And I think in that moment she's trying to decide whether or not to push any further or not, because there's important stuff that we need to do. And this could. This could be dangerous. Like old Atta would.
Old Atta would have been straight through the bubble immediately at the first, like.
[00:46:37] Speaker A: Image of grandma, in which case as you kind of stand there motionless, just stand staring at this, what you now know to be some sort of memory essence for your grandmother.
And like, she stares motion, like, stares back at you motionlessly as you go to, like, as you move to kind of capitulate to your thoughts.
Your. The face of your grandmother suddenly turns into this feral snarl.
And she begins clawing, trying to, like, reach through. And perhaps worryingly, the. The tips of her, like, fingernails start to push through the veil and reach out towards you before she's pushed back. And it's the. It's the furthest you've seen a spirit naturally push through.
And yeah, within, like, with the shock of her kind of suddenly switching within a few moments, she's just kind of lost in the.
In the sea of Angry spirits.
[00:48:06] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:48:08] Speaker A: What's your second downtime?
[00:48:13] Speaker F: Contemplate existence. Have a little stare at the wall. Probably.
I don't know. I think Atta's gonna go to Lorenzo. Lorenzo. Doctor. Doctor. Lorenzo.
[00:48:28] Speaker B: Lorenzo.
[00:48:29] Speaker A: Lorenzo.
[00:48:31] Speaker F: She's. She's probably. She probably goes, hey, Doc, I. You know, I still feel, like, drained and everything, but also. And then just like, you know, like trauma dumps on Lorenzo as he's.
I saw grandma and she tried to get me, but that's not Grandma.
Do I have a weird relationship with my. My grandma? Is this, like, you know, and just kind of, you know, babbles at Lorenzo?
[00:49:02] Speaker A: Sure. He, in true Lorenzo fashion, listens to nearly none of it as he's kind of busy. He just lets you talk and, like, he's. He's preparing his concoctions.
So you are level two soul drained.
He is a level. Currently, he's level two. A level two apothecary. So let's roll a two dice for him.
[00:49:35] Speaker B: Hey, you did it.
[00:49:38] Speaker A: He's just that good.
So he rolls a six. So that is three segments. So you complete your heel clock. And then one, two. It's already half full again. And then instead of soul drained, we're gonna call you. It's now level one soul, soul tired.
So fatigued.
So now you've got your dice back on your, like, magic kind of stuff, but you'll have a lesser effect. Baseline.
Cool.
[00:50:12] Speaker B: You were ready for the healing that time.
[00:50:14] Speaker F: Yeah, right. Does Lorenzo make you feel a little bit better?
[00:50:17] Speaker A: Yeah. You just needed to get a lot of stuff off your chest, and he was the perfect person to.
[00:50:22] Speaker D: He just gave you a nice cup.
[00:50:23] Speaker A: Of tea.
[00:50:25] Speaker F: And a sticker. That's all you need from the dog.
[00:50:31] Speaker A: Okay, Marvelous. So that's at a. Done. Next up on the stress clocks. Oh, you're all equal. Let's start with Frida. Frida's first ability. First down time.
[00:50:41] Speaker E: Same as we do every night, Pinky. We're going to reduce stress and heal, but I'm going to do it in the opposite way. I'm going to heal first and then reduce stress.
[00:50:53] Speaker F: Just.
[00:50:54] Speaker A: Okay, okay. Mix it up a bit. Lorenzo as well.
[00:50:57] Speaker E: So, yeah, I. In fact, actually, Frida's going to meet Atta as she comes out of Lorenzo's office. And Frida's going in.
And as Frida goes past, she's gonna just sort of like, stoop down and whisper. Nata, say, is he in a better mood today? He scares me.
Don't tell anyone.
[00:51:22] Speaker F: I mean, he. He made me feel lots better.
And I think that was good. I don't know what kind of mood he's in. I try not to look him in the eyes. Yeah, I try not to make eye contact too much.
[00:51:39] Speaker E: Hey, did he give you that sticker? That's really cool. It's like holographic.
[00:51:42] Speaker F: I know, right?
[00:51:44] Speaker E: I hope I get a sticker too.
[00:51:46] Speaker B: How the heck are we producing holographic stickers in the hellscape that is Elysium?
[00:51:51] Speaker A: Magic, baby.
[00:51:54] Speaker D: Magic finds a way. Way.
[00:51:56] Speaker A: Okay, so, Freda, you sit down and he. He reassesses the progress made on your cheek cut and your light burns from the. The blast from.
Well, it was Caleb, but now it's the Varian.
So you're on two segments at the moment.
So he's going to roll two dice.
[00:52:19] Speaker E: Oh, plus one. One. Because I get take. I get to take plus one to healing treatment.
Because they're vigorous.
[00:52:27] Speaker A: Vigorous. Yes, you do. Okay, so three dice then.
[00:52:32] Speaker B: Oh, flips Sake.
[00:52:34] Speaker A: Lorenzo, he is out of stickers, lollipops and tea, it would seem.
Okay, so that's. That's three. He. He had. He had precisely one fuck today and he gave that twatter.
[00:52:55] Speaker E: I should have gone first.
[00:53:02] Speaker A: Okay. I mean, that's. That's Lorenzo.
[00:53:05] Speaker B: If you've got a shallow cheek cut he was trying to heal. Is it that she's so scared that when he comes at her with the iodine, she's like, no, no, no, no, get off me.
[00:53:13] Speaker A: Ah, yes.
[00:53:17] Speaker E: He's been trying to heal this all bloody campaign.
[00:53:21] Speaker B: Surely it's gonna heal itself eventually.
[00:53:24] Speaker A: Yeah, Jeff, Jeff, got you good.
[00:53:28] Speaker F: Maybe it's because you keep using the bone when it should be a solve or like that's the.
[00:53:34] Speaker A: Yeah, probably you're bigging it too much.
Okay, so, yes, Lorenzo. Lorenzo is tired and he gives you one quarter of your heel clock. So you got one left.
What's your second down time?
[00:53:52] Speaker E: Heal again or do I heal again and risk the extra stress?
[00:54:02] Speaker A: You could spend a round rep to get an extra activity.
[00:54:06] Speaker B: That's a good point.
[00:54:07] Speaker E: Would people be okay if I did that? So I'm in better shape for the finale?
[00:54:13] Speaker B: I think so. I think I'm happy if you see that.
[00:54:16] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay.
[00:54:18] Speaker B: Is that a coin though? Is that.
[00:54:20] Speaker A: No, it's a rep or a coin.
[00:54:22] Speaker B: So, okay, can we afford.
[00:54:24] Speaker A: You've got one rep, so if you. Yeah, we can spend that you, like. Lorenzo goes to send you on his way and in a somewhat of a tantrum, freely, like, as you stop and like lock the door and I'm not leaving until this is fixed.
Which in turn causes Lorenzo to go on a epic bemoaning spree about how you like slave drive your cohorts.
Yes, he. If you. He can do another. He'll roll for you if you like.
[00:54:59] Speaker E: Yes, please.
[00:55:01] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:55:02] Speaker E: Extra dice, please.
[00:55:06] Speaker A: Okay, so I swear, if it's all.
[00:55:09] Speaker E: Dudes again, this is rigged. Dan.
[00:55:14] Speaker F: There you go.
[00:55:15] Speaker B: There you go.
[00:55:16] Speaker A: Five. Okay, so he. Oh. Tuts. Rolls his eyes. But you are fully healed and your light burns and shallow cheek cuts are both.
[00:55:28] Speaker E: Thank you. Thank you everyone for letting me have that. That rep point. Because oh my God, I literally had those like, those wounds for like the whole campaign.
[00:55:41] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:55:43] Speaker B: Quite a long time.
[00:55:44] Speaker A: What's your second? Well, your third downtime.
[00:55:47] Speaker E: Oh, we know what it is. It's going on reducing stress. Cuz I'm a big old dressy pants.
[00:55:54] Speaker A: Roll me a zero dice.
Indulge. Roll. Whoops. So you're on six stress.
[00:56:03] Speaker E: Oh.
[00:56:08] Speaker A: Drops you to four. It's two.
[00:56:11] Speaker E: It's fine. Oh, I like the new dice. Very fancy.
[00:56:15] Speaker A: Very fancy. Yeah, I fixed it.
Okay, so you are down to full stress. And that is Frieda done and dusted. Let's go to Magpie next.
[00:56:25] Speaker B: Yeah, I would love to clear some stress. Am I allowed? Can I go stealing, please?
[00:56:32] Speaker A: You can go stealing.
[00:56:33] Speaker B: I think Magpie's gonna go and hang out on a roof just opposite her parents and just kind of.
[00:56:38] Speaker A: With a fishing line.
[00:56:40] Speaker B: Yeah, she's just going to case it for a bit and figure out where she wants to steal from. And she's going to. She's going to go on a little cat burglar jaunt just, just for herself, just for fun. It really helps. It really helps de stress her actually stealing her mother's favorite jewelry. She doesn't even have to choose the ones has forgotten about anymore. She can just go for the really good one now. She's all singing it just. Just for me for flavor. She's gonna leave a note in her sister's room saying that she misses her as well, but.
[00:57:11] Speaker A: Yeah, well, let's see how well that works for you. That's a two dice. Indulge stress.
[00:57:17] Speaker B: Indulge. Indulge vice. And I've got six stress.
[00:57:22] Speaker A: You've got six stress.
[00:57:23] Speaker B: Brilliant. Okay, rel.
Three.
[00:57:27] Speaker A: I give it a three. Okay, down to three. What's your second one, two, three.
[00:57:34] Speaker B: My second is I'm gonna try and reduce this heat, I reckon because we've still got a couple of heat.
[00:57:42] Speaker A: Yep. Two heats.
[00:57:42] Speaker B: Yeah, still got two heats. I would like to attempt to reduce that and I'm thinking could it be something about the.
What which heat did. We already discussed? Belle? There was something about Leech wasn't there and kind of.
[00:57:59] Speaker A: So like Sergeant Leech's location has been accidentally leaked.
[00:58:05] Speaker B: Accidentally leaked. Right. So could. Could Magpie attempt maybe sort of sneak into. Is there a. There is a newspaper in Alesia, isn't there?
[00:58:15] Speaker A: The treaties.
[00:58:16] Speaker B: The treaties. Could she sneak into the treaties offices and sort of deliver a tip off about the identity of the Ilnasi who got killed and say, actually this was a guy in a really dangerous profession. He was going. He started a fight with some really bad people and that's how he actually ended up dead. And that sort of might maybe make people think, oh, maybe it wasn't that gang of hula tudlums. Maybe he. It was actually coming to him or something like that.
[00:58:44] Speaker A: Okay, something like that. What score you what ability using.
[00:58:48] Speaker B: Obviously. It's obviously my sneaky sneak. I'm gonna sneak it. I'm gonna prowl in to the offices and leave the tip off in there.
[00:58:58] Speaker C: If you could also leave some of my cryptic crossword clues that I've been compiling.
[00:59:03] Speaker B: Okay, I will do that. Totally.
[00:59:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:59:05] Speaker B: Yeah. Prowl.
[00:59:08] Speaker A: Roll me a three. So it's easiest if you do like a $3 dice fortune from the left.
[00:59:13] Speaker B: Three dice fortune. Okay, cool. I'll do that.
Roll it five.
[00:59:24] Speaker A: Five. So that reduces two heat. You a lot are heatless.
[00:59:29] Speaker D: Nice.
[00:59:31] Speaker A: Very, very good.
[00:59:32] Speaker B: Nice that.
[00:59:33] Speaker A: Is that for Magpie?
[00:59:35] Speaker B: That's it.
[00:59:35] Speaker A: Thank you. Last not least, cavern me.
[00:59:39] Speaker D: Hello.
[00:59:39] Speaker A: What is your. Hello. What is your first downtime?
[00:59:42] Speaker D: I would like to reduce some stress, please.
[00:59:45] Speaker A: Okay.
Who are you reducing it with?
[00:59:50] Speaker C: Who?
[00:59:51] Speaker D: I kind of believe that I'm probably not really allowed to go into Celestri at the moment because it's a little bit ill Nature mania.
[01:00:00] Speaker A: Tell you what. Who is very thankful for your. Your help recently.
Oh.
[01:00:06] Speaker D: I mean, if he's up for it.
I wasn't gonna ask because he's darling.
[01:00:12] Speaker A: I'm always up for it.
[01:00:15] Speaker D: Well, I will take him into my boudoir then and catroller the manor.
[01:00:22] Speaker A: Everyone has to be outfitted with earmuffs for a three hour session.
[01:00:28] Speaker E: Frida just goes around everyone's room with a little basket of earplugs.
[01:00:34] Speaker B: Nice.
[01:00:35] Speaker A: This is a one dice. Indulge vice. You have six stress.
[01:00:41] Speaker D: Number of dice one.
Really?
Ow.
[01:00:48] Speaker A: Two stress.
It's.
[01:00:52] Speaker B: You've had better.
[01:00:53] Speaker A: Yeah, there's a lot of. There's a bit of an emotional baggage.
[01:00:58] Speaker B: He was really distant the whole time. He still got a bit of. Still a bit distracted.
[01:01:03] Speaker A: He kept on asking you to repeat the whole kidnapping kid. Yeah, the whole damsel in distress act for him. Oh, no.
[01:01:12] Speaker D: He turned into a clear princess. I can't.
[01:01:17] Speaker A: Okay, amazing. So 2 stress takes you down to 4. What's your second downtime? Are you going for seconds?
[01:01:27] Speaker D: I. I mean, I can overindulge because it's not like we're gonna have another downtime, so.
But would people mind if I spend another coin? Because there was something else I wanted to do to reduce another stress.
I know.
[01:01:43] Speaker B: Can we find out what our tear roll would be first?
Oh, so that we can be. Because I think it could make a big difference if we are tier three for the final fight.
[01:01:54] Speaker D: Yeah. So how much do. How much coin do we need?
[01:01:57] Speaker B: So we need three.
So if we roll four or more on our tier roll, would. Then you're totally clear to do it.
[01:02:07] Speaker A: Would Kavren like to head down to the vice den to oversee operations for a fleeting moment?
[01:02:13] Speaker D: Yes. It's my turn. It's my turn to do it.
[01:02:16] Speaker B: Okay.
[01:02:16] Speaker A: Okay.
So tell you what, you know what? Then I'll get you to roll it. Nate, if you could roll me.
So dice on the left. A two dice fortune roll. You have no heat, so it's simply whatever you. The highest dice you roll, you get that much coin.
[01:02:35] Speaker D: So two dice.
[01:02:37] Speaker A: Yeah, two dice.
[01:02:37] Speaker D: Two dice fortune roll.
[01:02:43] Speaker B: You did it. You can have your stress relief.
[01:02:47] Speaker D: I can have more sex.
[01:02:55] Speaker A: To the victor, the spoils.
[01:02:57] Speaker D: Well, while I was down in the vice den, then I bought some of Eric's more nicer wine that he's got, and hopefully that will more in the mood.
[01:03:10] Speaker A: Okay. Amazing. Well, between your. Well, thanks to your efforts, you accrue an extra four coin for the group. Even if you pinch one. That is enough. I'm gonna tick up to tier three.
You are a tier three week, week hold.
[01:03:36] Speaker B: Leave out the week. We're tier three. That's the main three.
[01:03:39] Speaker A: You are now tier three.
And I'm gonna bottom out all of your.
All of your coin. Speaking of.
Tell you what, speaking of bottoming out, Catherine, if you can roll another stress roll.
So you're now on four stress one dice.
[01:04:03] Speaker D: This is where I get the six of it. Oh, no.
[01:04:06] Speaker B: Look at that. That was beautiful.
[01:04:09] Speaker D: That was just what was needed.
[01:04:11] Speaker A: Flawless.
[01:04:12] Speaker B: It was a flawless performance on Born Things part.
[01:04:17] Speaker A: Amazing. So Catherine walks out a new man.
[01:04:22] Speaker D: Can I. Can I add to my last downtime as the much more successful, successful session that. That also acts as training in my prowess.
[01:04:36] Speaker A: Sure, sure, sure, sure. Okay, so that adds to which is another upgrade.
[01:04:41] Speaker D: Yeah.
[01:04:44] Speaker A: What you upgrade.
[01:04:45] Speaker D: I was going to say, what do we think would be better, skirmish or finesse?
I mean finesse would make more sense. Oh, I don't know.
[01:04:53] Speaker A: Skirmish.
[01:04:53] Speaker D: I don't know how hard we went.
[01:04:56] Speaker E: I think like three of us have just upgraded skirmish like this down.
[01:05:02] Speaker D: I do have a skirmish, so I might go in with finesse.
[01:05:05] Speaker B: What do you use finesse for?
[01:05:06] Speaker A: Generally it is delicate manipulations and.
And the like. When I find my words like pirouetting.
[01:05:17] Speaker B: And dueling and stuff like that, obviously. But I'm just wondering what Catherine uses finesse for.
[01:05:21] Speaker A: Yeah, they're in manipulation or subtle misdirection. You might pick someone's pockets. You might handle the controls of vehicle direct amount.
[01:05:31] Speaker B: Nice.
[01:05:32] Speaker D: I will take another pip in finesse then, please.
[01:05:36] Speaker A: So that takes you up to two.
Marvelous. And I believe that is that for the down times, the downtime activities.
[01:05:46] Speaker B: Okay, great.
[01:05:48] Speaker A: So that is all of the compulsory downtime bits done.
You, the five of you are gonna have a little bit of free time before the the plan, the final plan, Algonon's open Magnus open begins. So I reckon we take a quick break there.
